"MEPS" Episode 151:

Since I couldn’t recap ECDLP #51 over the weekend, I’ll put it up this evening since #52 won’t air until tomorrow.
 

ECDLP #51

- Rebeca calls Ricardo crazy. Ric says he’ll talk to Alonso and Nora to see what they think.
- Rebeca threatens him and he wonders if she’d really be capable of killing him just like she did Adriana. Rebeca slaps him just as Lucia walks up.
- Ricardo asks Lucia if she’s Adriana’s daughter. When she asks who he is he tells her to ask Rebeca.
- At first Rebeca tells Lucia the man is Ricardo Marquez. Lucia wonders why he was looking for her.
- Rebeca remembers Adriana confronting her about Ricardo.
- Milagros tells Daniela that she faked wanting to make peace with Lucia. Rafaela arrives and apologizes to Milagros for causing the argument between Milly and Marcelo but says Marc will learn the truth one way or another.
- Samuel visits Mario at the law firm. Mario tells him the wedding is off.
- Daniela calla Rodrigo. They agree to meet up later.
- Amador thinks it’s strange that Rodrigo is friends precisely with Daniela. He thinks Rod should invite Daniela to the house.
- Marcelo visits Milagros. He asks her what she’s up to concerning Lucia. Why did she change her mind?
- Milagros says she still doesn’t really like Lucia for him but as his mother she wants to support him. Marcelo still thinks it’s strange she’s living with Daniela.
- Alonso returns home from work and tells Rebeca he found out that Ricardo is in town. Rebeca says Ric stopped by the house. Al wants to go see him but Rebeca tells him it’s not worth it.
- Lucia and Magdalena talk about Ricardo’s return. Lucia doesn’t feel like Ric has had a glamorous life. Mags felt all sorts of emotions when she saw him but knows she only loves Mario.
- Mario has told Samuel about Ricardo reappearing in Mags’ life. He admits he’s jealous. Samuel asks him if he really thinks it’s easy for Mags to have run into the man who destroyed her life.
- Sara finds out what hotel Ricardo is staying in. Leti comes home and Sara tells her that she’s not going to force her to quit her job. She suggests they take a vacation but Leti refuses.
- Nora asks Marcelo what he sees in Lucia. She wants the chance to show him that she can make him happy. She kisses him as Lucia walks in and grabs Nora by the hair.
- Reb breaks up the fight and slaps Lucia, threatening to kill her. Marcelo warns Reb that if she hurts Lucia, she’ll deal with him. Rebeca says Marcelo destroyed the tranquility of her home and tries to kick him out. Lucia defends him saying it’s her house too.
- Rebeca wants Nora to explain what happened. Lucia is tired of dealing with Rebeca and Nora.
- Rebeca will find a way cover things up with Alonso since surely Lucia will tell him what happened.
- Rodrigo and Daniela talk about their lives. Ligia calls Rodrigo. She wants to see him but he says he can’t until the next day. Daniela tells him she already met his mom.
- Brigida goes to see Sergio to ask him if Rodrigo’s dating someone, he doesn’t know but she wants him to tell her if he founds out. She also chats briefly with Ligia.
- Lucia doesn’t want to tell Alonso about what happened with Nora. Lucia thinks her dad feels guilty about not loving Rebeca the way R wants him to.
- Marcelo leaves Lucia alone in his apartment. Milagros calls and asks her to tell Rafaela to take her the picture frame of Federico. Lucia remembers confronting Rodrigo in the apartment bedroom.
- Rafaela visits Marcelo at the factory. He still thinks she and his mom are hiding something. When she leaves she meets Nazario and Lalo. She asks Naz if he needs help with housework.
- Rebeca and Magdalena talk about Ricardo’s return. Rebeca doesn’t think Mags should talk to him. Mags thinks it’s strange that Reb is worried.
- Marcelo finds Lucia asleep on his bed. He suggests they go out by she wants to stay in. They kiss passionately and fall back on the bed.
 

ECDLP #52

- Alonso and Amador discuss the particulars of the contract of Amador’s client. Alonso wants Amador to renegotiate it or he himself will.
- Ricardo calls Casa Gaxiola. Nora answers. He wants to talk to Rebeca but she’s not there. After Nora hangs up Reb returns home and Nora tells her about the call.
- Rebeca figures out who it is and tells Nora that it’s the man who left Magdalena at the altar. She doesn’t want Nora telling Alonso anything
- Mario apologizes to Magdalena.
- Milagros calls Marcelo asking for Rafaela but she’s not there. Milly figures out what they must be up to.
- Lucia tells Marcelo that Milagros wants Rafaela to take her the photo of Federico.
- Rafaela offers to start helping Nazario around the house right away by first making him a nice dinner.
- Sergio tells Ligia why Brigida was at the law firm earlier. He warns her that Brigida is very insistent and will find out everything eventually.
- Leti overhears the conversation and tells Sergio she&Lucia once overheard Ligia talking to Rodrigo on the phone. Sergio tries to say it’s not true. She wonders why he’s covering for Rodrigo. He says that regardless it’s none of their business.
- Milagros tells Daniela that Marcelo and Lucia are currently alone in his apartment.
- Marcelo takes Lucia home. He tells her that he’s afraid to lose her once she discovers something about his life. He’ll tell her what it is the next day.
- Nora is waiting for Lucia in room and assumes Alonso already knows what happened earlier. Lucia says he doesn’t.
- Nora says she’s spent time in Marcelo’s apartment on several occasions. Lucia is not fazed and kicks Nora out of her room. Nora suggests Lucia move out and live with Naz. Lucia says maybe she will move out but she’d live with Marcelo. Nora doesn’t think Alonso will like hearing that.
- Rebeca asks Alonso if he’s seen Lucia since she was out with Marcelo and hadn’t returned. He tells her about Amador’s shady contract and his past business relationship with Ricardo.
- Marcelo is surprised that Rafaela will work for Nazario. He tells her about Milagros’ request.
- Rebeca goes to see Ricardo at his hotel. She warns him not to go near Nora. She’s not afraid of him. When she leaves Ric follows her into the hallway just as Mario walks up.
- Mario wonders why she is there. She claims she’s there to tell him to leave Magdalena alone. Ricardo realizes Mario was Rebeca’s ex boyfriend. Ric taunts Mario and Reb quickly gets Mario out of the hotel.
- Rafaela once again encourages Marcelo to tell Lucia the truth. Milagros calls and Rafaela tells her she’ll take the photo later.
- Magdalena wonders why Mario went looking for Ricardo. Mario tells her that Rebeca was there too to see Ricardo.
- Leti tells Lucia that it’s true that there’s something between Rodrigo and Ligia. Rebeca overhears Lucia hinting to Leti about taking the next step with Marcelo.
- Rebeca asks Lucia how serious her relationship with Marcelo is. Lucia says “nunya business”. Lucia says she knows Reb can’t stand to see her happy.
- Marcelo tells Nora to leave him and Lucia alone.
- Alonso walks into Marcelo’s office and tells Nora to go to his. So wants him to investigate the company that Amador has the contract with.
- Rodrigo has found out that Brigida went to talk to Sergio. He once again tells her to butt out of his personal life.
- Ligia denies to Leti that she’s interested in Rodrigo
- Alonso tells Nora that if her intention of working at TG is just to be close to Marcelo then she won’t have the job anymore. Nora thinks he’s being unfair and will surely applaud Lucia for moving in with Marc being unmarried.
- Alonso wants to talk to Marcelo but he’s already left the office.
- Milagros goes to Marcelo’s apartment to get the pic of Federico as she’s leaving Reb is arriving. She doesn’t let Reb into the apartment and Reb makes her drop the frame, breaking it. Rebeca sees it’s a photo of Federico.

No problem, UA. I appreciate that you comment when you can. I’m thinking of starting to divide the recaps into parts since it’s almost at the halfway point of the show and more things will start happening. For now I’m attempting to leave the unimportant scenes out of the recaps so I can fit everything in one post haha I’m naturally a very detailed person.
 

"MEPS" Episode 151 (Part LX):
755.) We return to the aftermath of Clingy Erika & Franco/Eduardo's so-called wedding ending abruptly at the church where everyone's trying to figure out what just happened.

756.) Inside the rectory office, Clingy Erika speaks with Franco/Eduardo about how he's marrying her, etc., she understands the conditions of their "relationship", but thinks about her friendship with Redhead & asks him once again if he loves Redhead, Franco/Eduardo sighs & says YES he loves Redhead.

757.) Both Jacinto & Florecita trying to hold Nagging Gardenia (AKA Miss Big Mouth), Mags tells them to let go of the raging bull-ista. Mags scolds her annoying sister about how she (Nagging Gardenia) is being a capricious, self-centered spoiled brat.

758.) Over at the church, both Franco/Eduardo & Clingy Erika return to the service. Don Augusto is curious to what's going on between them; Dona Dolly holds him back so that he couldn't approach the couple. Padre Bosco repeats the vows to Clingy Erika about love & marriage that he stated earlier in the service.

759.) Clingy Erika blurts out her answer: She will NOT marry Franco/Eduardo & then runs down the aisle of the church all the way towards the front doors (somebody must've been watching the movie "Runaway Bride" back in the day). Everyone in attendance including Clingy Erika's parents are stunned.

760.) In the meantime outside of the church, we see Jacinto, Florecita, Mags & Nagging Gardenia still arguing when they see Clingy Erika running out of the church with her parents behind her; Jacinto rightfully assumes the wedding was stopped after all while Nagging Gardenia smirks & does a little prayer of her own thanks to the Lord.

761.) Aftermath of the abrupt ending of the wedding: Steve, Jr., leaves Franco/Eduardo at the wedding kneeling benches after offering some words of comfort; Redhead comes over & kneels beside Franco/Eduardo. Clingy Erika's parents want some explanation from their daughter, Clingy Erika cries.

762.) Back inside, Franco/Eduardo tells Redhead that Clingy Erika asked him if he loved her (Redhead); he had to tell the entire truth & said YES.

763.) Over at the Elizalde Mansion grounds, Cousin Jacomo with the motorcycle helmet gives Tomasa a note to send to Priscila. Priscila opens the note & is shocked when she reads that Mooching Damian is demanding a visit & signed by Creepy Vlad.

764.) Jackass #1 Anibal is outside the stables telling the stablehands about arrangements of selling Jackass #2 Camilo's favorite black stallion; Jackass #1 Anibal gets all grumpy when Priscila hands him the note Creepy Vlad sent her. He asks "When did this arrive ?". Priscila says Tomasa received it from the messenger today & once he storms off, you can pretty tell this won't end well for Tomasa....

765.) Speaking of Tomasa: she's being interrogated by Jackass #1 Anibal in the living room about the note & the messenger.

766.) Clingy Erika & Redhead get into argument & ugly hard-cold truth about Franco Santorro & Clingy Erika showing her the photograph of Franco & Redhead. Blah-blah about the truth, etc.,

767.) Over at Las Animas: Nagging Gardenia is in her room, writing, reading & thinking about Franco/Eduardo: OMG this girl needs to get laid!
 

"MEPS" Episode 152 (Part LXI):

I'll be posting recap on tomorrow's episode sometime late Thursday afternoon.
 

QT #120, Part 1

- Chacho confesses to his therapist(!) that he's afraid that if Bere keeps moving forward with her life, she'll end up leaving him. He trots out the "eagle married to a turkey" metaphor again. The therapist tells him turkeys can fly high and promises to help him overcome his macho attitudes.

- Basurto promises Mat he won't proceed against Sandi until she's out of medical danger. He urges him and Val to make their statements against Leonel as soon as possible so he can start looking for evidence -- everything has to be by the book so Leo doesn't get off on a technicality.

- Leo calls Servando from the cabin on the mountain and tells him to bring him a pistol.

- Mat makes Val promise that they'll face the future together, as a team. Their song plays.

- Chacho promises Bere he'll stay in therapy and do everything he can to support her. They reconcile.
 

QT #120, Part 2

- Leo is visited in the cabin by the bloody ghost of Minerva, who tells him he is responsible for the deaths of BOTH of his parents. He freaks.

- Mat receives a message from Leo saying he'd rather burn La Noria to the ground then see it in Mat's hands. Mat organizes the chavos into night patrols. Tirso tells everyone to lock their doors, which only makes sense if they think Leo doesn't have keys to his own house, but whatevs.

- Out on patrol, Justino asks Juan if it's true he left Came for another guy. Juan says yeah, his name is Gervasio, and so what? Justino says he's totally okay with it and will defend Juan if other people give him a hard time, which is nice.

- Caras de impactados de todos as they read Vicente's morning headlines: Leo being sought by police; Art alive; Sandi arrested for attempted murder.

- Vicente visits Fercho (remember him?) in prison and convinces him that Art is about to go down, so now would be a good time to trade some information for leniency. Fercho spills about what Art has on the governor -- a private party, underage girls, one dead after mixing drugs and alcohol, lots of photos and a secret gravesite. He also knows what happened to Tito's Mom, who is in a coma in a clinic in Mexico City. Oh, and Art had Hermilio (remember him?) killed at the orphanage.
 

QT #120, Part 3

- Mat visits the baby in the incubator and cries. He promises to take care of him, but urges him to fight to survive!

- Leo calls Sab and tells her if she'll bring him Remy's wallet and phone from the safe, she can keep the pistol she used to kill Amara (remember her?). But Nadia is eavesdropping in the hall, because IT'S TELENOVELA LAW.

- Vicente travels to Mexico City, where the doctors are about to unplug Dorotea. He convinces them to wait until Tito can get there.

- Leo takes the gun Servando brings and shoots him dead. Sorry, but witnesses are unreliable -- Val proved that.

- Eva goes in to visit Sandi, who is suddenly super-worried about her baby. It must be hormones. Eva asks her point-blank if Mat is the father and she appears to shake her head no.


 

ECDLP #53

- Rebeca quickly leaves Marcelo’s apartment after seeing the picture frame of Federico.
- Rebeca remembers Federico telling her he wanted her to meet his brother. She remembers Marcelo’s words about having a death on her conscience.
- Nora barges into Dr. Andrade’s office. She wasn’t scheduled to see him until the next week. She says she can’t stand her sister and wants her to die.
- Roman says while she might hate her sister surely she doesn’t really want her to die. Nora talks about living in her sister’s shadow.
- Lucia assures Alonso that she only wanted Nora to stop bothering her so she told her she was going to live with Marcelo. She won’t move out until she marries BUT lately she doesn’t enjoy living there because of Rebeca and Nora.
- Lucia tells Alonso that she’s going out to dinner with Marcelo.
- Marcelo arrives at his apartment and steps on the broken glass. Lucia calls him and he thinks it’s Rebeca. Lucia decides to meet him at the restaurant instead of having him pick her up.
- Rebeca is driving and remembering seeing the picture of Federico and Federico killing himself. She gets distracted by her phone ringing and crashes into a tree.
- Amador isn’t happy to see Ric back in Puebla. He says Alonso already knows about their previous business relationship.
- Ric points out that he introduced Amador to the client for A’s shady business.
- Sara asks Magdalena if she’s seen Ric again and if he’s still in town. Sara hopes he leaves soon. Mags thinks Sara’s reaction is strange. A nurse comes looking for Mags saying she’s needed in the ER.
- Nora doesn’t want to go home despite Roman encouraging her to face her problems. He suggests they meet twice a week.
- Marcelo finally arrives at the restaurant. He wants to wait to tell Lucia what he needs to tell her until after they dine.
- Alonso is eating alone but doesn’t have an appetite. He’s worried about Rebeca since she’s not home yet.
- Magdalena calls Alonso to tell him that Rebeca is in the hospital.
- Daniela thinks Marcelo must know the name of the woman Fede was involved with.
- Lucia wants Marcelo to just tell her what he needs to tell her. He tells her that he came to find the woman who caused his brother’s death. He says Lucia knows who it is. Before he says the name, Alonso calls Marcelo and tells Lucia about Rebeca’s accident.
- Marcelo says they’ll finish the conversation later as Lucia prefers to go to the hospital alone.
- Nora arrives home and Teresa informs her about her mom's accident.
- Alonso arrives at the hospital and gets an update from Magdalena.
- Rebeca didn’t think Alonso cared about anything that happens to her. She says she doesn’t remember what happened.
- Lucia and Nora arrive at the hospital at the same time. Nora calls her hypocrite saying L doesn’t care about Rebeca. Nora goes to see Reb while Alonso tells Lucia to go home since Reb has been discharged.
- Marcelo tells Rafaela he was about to tell Lucia the truth but they were interrupted. They realize the picture of Federico is gone. Marcelo doesn’t like that his mom goes to his apartment when he’s not there.
- Ricardo goes to Casa Treviño to see Magdalena but Nazario says she’s not there. Naz tells him to leave Mags alone and pushes him when he says he knows about Trini’s death and gives his condolences.
- Amador has told Brigida that Ricardo is in Puebla. Brigida thinks Ric may defame him. Rodrigo introduces Amador to Daniela.
- Daniela tells Rodrigo that his dad is more pleasant than his mom. Daniela plans to win Marcelo back and go back to the city. Ligia calls Rodrigo but he doesn’t answer
- Marcelo goes to see Milagros. He doesn’t want her to go to his apartment so he takes the keys she has. Milly mentions Reb seeing the picture of Federico.
- Rebeca is brought home. She gets Lucia alone wanting to talk to her privately. She confesses that she is the woman Marcelo’s brother committed suicide for and that Marcelo is using Lucia to get revenge on her.

I liked Minerva's visit to Leo. Now that Leo has removed Servando, who will run errands and do dirty deeds for him? Serv's face looked startled.

Matt was sweet with his baby--or the baby he claims as his to care for. Sandy was suddenly all concerned about the damage she did to her baby. I agree she told Eva it wasn't Matt's baby.

I was telling the doctor's not to pull the plug on Dorotea until Tito can get there with the photo. Will there be a miracle recovery for her?

La Paloma: I see Sandy all but confirmed Leo is the Baby Daddy of the baby.

First things first: Who will Sab whack this time ?

Wasn't shocked Servando got whacked. He would've been a liability for Crazy Leo.
 

QT #120

Gracias, Blue Lass. Was there more? I took notes on this one, too. Where was Val's nightmare an the phone conversation where Art said he would make Vicente pay?

Leo loves to shoot right into the brain. Makes me wonder whether he learned this from cop shows on TV (whether he watched them or acted in them). Or did he learn this from his father?

The vision of Minnie is definitely his descent into a Dante's inferno of madness. Good move on the writers' part.

Sandy did look like she was shaking her head.

UA, as you know, I don't cover every minute -- only what I think is plot-advancing. I promised minicaps and minicaps is what you got.

I checked the schedule and the next episode of ECDLP (#54) won’t air until 6/29 because of soccer.

"MEPS" Episode 152 (Part LXI)
768.) Over at the Elizalde Mansion: Daddy Elizalde STUPIDLY gives Psycho Barbara documents that would transfer the property which belongs to her. She thinks she's in the clear but with 8 episodes left in this EPIC Telenovela, we're in the homestretch!

769.) In the meantime, Gullible Aurora confirms to Redhead that her biological parents are none other than: Psycho Barbara (AKA Rebeca Sanchez) & Artemio Bravo. Redhead asks her for proof to back it up, Gullible Aurora mentions that Artemio was the one, who sent $$$$$ to Dominga (who later got whacked by Artemio's henchmen a few months earlier when the nightclub exploded).

770.) Franco/Eduardo explains to Padre Bosco that he went to see Clingy Erika & explains that Clingy Erika found out his real feelings for Redhead. He also mentions that his friends will keep Liliana safe & sound once they rescue her from Bravo HQ.

771.) Steve, Jr., & Jacinto are planning one of the most ultimate capers of our lifetimes. They've got maps & plats of Artemio's fortress (which is obviously guarded with security & henchmen, etc.,). Martina & Venus show up & offer their assistance to help rescue Liliana. Steve, Jr., doesn't think it'll be a good idea because it'll be dangerous & Jacinto says they could help.

772.) Meanwhile Redhead explains to Dumbass Santiago that Psycho Barbara is so smart, she'll get out of any situation & exploit it to her advantage; Franco shows up; Redhead also tells Franco that Psycho Barbara is Gullible Aurora's mother.

773.) Elizalde Mansion: Jackass #1 Anibal as usual, is worried about business & how it'll impact Grupo Lactos, etc., Daddy Elizalde tells everyone Franco & Clingy Erika didn't get married; Priscila is offended by the jackassery of Jackass #1 Anibal & Pyscho Barbara thinks Franco would be good for Redhead once Mooching Damian is out of the picture.

774.) Over at the prison: Lucio tells Mooching Damian that he's been paroled.... I can guess we can see where this is going: Lucio will wreak havoc on Tomasa's life AGAIN & eventually becoming a liability to Artemio, Psycho Barbara & Co.,

775.) Franco asks Redhead how long have they've known Pyscho Barbara; Redhead says 16 years since she found young Eduardo & young Redhead together at the secret hideout; Discussions turns to Artemio's vengeance & EVIL plot in destroying the Elizalde family for obvious reasons (Ana Gregoria, etc.,); Dumbass Santiago is disgusted that his EVIL StepMommy would become his kid's grandmother.

776.) Jackass #1 Anibal is still fuming about Psycho Barbara getting 60% of Grupo Lactos; he's going to be preparing montaje so that Daddy Elizalde can find out about his second wife's infidelity with Mooching Damian; Priscila says Psycho Barbara is a monster & of course, Jackass #1 Anibal always has to have the last word in launching insults right back at his estranged wife.

777.) Redhead tells Gullible Aurora that Franco is going to free Liliana including mentioning that Artemio (Gullible Aurora's father) has Liliana held captive at Bravo HQ; She also brings up the fact both EVIL StepMommy & Artemio have done lots of harm against her family for 20+ years.

778.) Franco tries to explain to Dumbass Santiago about the dangerous risks of storming Bravo HQ; Dumbass Santiago tells Franco "Don't you think it's about time I did something for my family ?" Good point.

779.) Meanwhile over at Colegio Buena Esperanza: Gullible Aurora is having a hard time comprehending & understanding that her biological parents are plotting to destroy the Elizalde's; One of the nuns tells her that Psycho Barbara is here to see her; we see Psycho Barbara at the door with packages as it turns out she's been shopping.

780.) Steve, Jr., FINALLY lets both Martina & Venus on the mission to free Liliana from Bravo HQ. What could possibly go wrong ?
 

Quererlo Todo Thursday 6-17-21

QT # 121 We left Leo hiding out in the cabin, Dorotea in a coma in the hospital, Sandi in the hospital, and Art hiding out in another town.

Part 1/2

Eva is sitting with Sandi. She has a call from Art, in such desperate need of money that he says he’s “hiding like a cockroach.” Eva can’t send the money right now—their daughter is in trouble and needs help. Art calls to reserve a plane ticket.

Leo is now entertaining the ghost of Servando, who tells him he came to the cabin because he’s a faithful dog. Serv also reviews Leo’s crimes and tells him to dig two graves—one for Serv and one for himself. Our distraught Leo pushes Serv’s body into the open grave with his foot.

Sandi, now rather repentant, is holding Bere’s hands and begs pardon for not being a better person and being selfish. The doctor says the baby is stable. Sandi knows she is the only one responsible for her situation. She asks Bere to promise to take care of their mother and to stay faithful to Chacho. She wants Padre G to come hear her confession.

Tito has arrived at Dorotea’s hospital room and identifies her as his mother, showing the locket photo. “Why won’t she wake up?” he asks. “Tell me the truth—when will she wake up?” Matt leaves, while Val stays with the boy. Tito tells his mama he kept his promise to look for her, while the people he was with told him lies. “I know you didn’t abandon me! Please look at me!” Dorotea moves a finger, then gradually opens her eyes. The doctor comes in, asks her to blink. She obeys the command, then recognizes Tito. Tears from Tito. (Ok, I was pretty sure this miracle was waiting in the wings.) Later, the doctor says they will follow up with neurological studies.

Padre G is seated at Sandi’s bedside as she confesses. He mentions the infinite mercy of God. She asks him to pray for her and her baby.

This episode seems quite choppy in spots. Here are some small bits:
• Vicente gets a phone call from a buddy of Servando. More to come.
• A shadowy figure enters a room and places a briefcase on the table.
• Luisa tells Vicente she prefers being self-sufficient for herself and her baby. She likes him, but is going to be on her own for the time being.
• Uriel is questioned by Basurto regarding the father of Sandi’s baby. He won’t tell.
• Matt and Vicente leave the hospital to return home.

Sabina follows up on Leo’s phone instructions to get some items from the office safe. She sneaks into the dark office, opens the safe, puts the items into a bag, shuts the safe and sneaks back out. Someone (Nadia) is watching through a crack in the door.
 

QT #121 Part 2/2

Nati comes to her cousin Eva and tells her that while Art was hiding in her house, he passed the time by seducing her. Eva slaps her. Nati continues, saying Art claimed he was no longer with Eva and he said bad things about her. He’s a liar who made promises to both of them. Eva should get the truth from Art before she sends him any money.

Servando’s buddy brings Vicente a flash drive. Serv asked him to pass it along if he didn’t return in 12 hours. (A message from beyond the grave! Serv is smarter than he seemed.)

The guard team is in the woods, protecting La Noria from Leo’s return and his threats to burn the hacienda. Val is with Matt and tells him the lawyer said she could get a divorce in two weeks. Then Leo calls Matt, saying he sees him with Val and is going to kill him. Matt tells Val to go to Esme’s house and wait.

Vicente shows Servando’s video to Basurto. The inspector asks the news editor to let him arrest Leo and Artemio before he publishes the story. The evidence is damning and detailed. Serv saw Leo kill Surem and Remi, as did Val. Serv gives the exact location where he buried Remi. In his opinion, Leo is crazy and very dangerous.

We also see the arrest of Gov. Zavela (?) on charges relating to the party where one young woman died. Art is making another call to Eva, begging again for money.

The local guards remain on the watch for Leo.

Sabina is frantically packing in her room. Nadia and Tirso enter to keep her from leaving. Tirso says, “Now is the time to confront your errors. Don’t do this, stay here. Or, if you go, don’t take Angelita with you.”

Chaco comes home and finds the briefcase on the table. He opens it and finds it filled with cash. A note says the money is for the orphans of Rosario.

Elias (guard) knocks out one of the other guards. He knocks at the door of Esme’s house, where the women of the Montes familia are gathered. Leo calls Val on the phone, and says she is to leave with Elias, bringing her phone. Val walks out, followed by Nadia.

Art is packing when Nati enters and asks where he’s going without her. He’s making up excuses and dissing Eva, when Eva appears at the door. She confronts Art, saying “You’re not taking me?”

Matt gets a message from Leo. He comes to Esme’s house looking for Val, where all the other women are praying. Val is gone and he learns of Elias’ attack from Justino.

Sabina is hugging Angelita. She tells her daughter that Val, Matt, Dalia, etc. are also her family and to never forget Sabina loves her.

Tirso is talking to Mag, telling her that Leo is very astute. She tells Tirso that she still loves him. He is a new man and she can make him happy.

So we leave with the fate of Val, Matt, and La Noria hanging in the balance.

Gracias to both of you. I will have my work cut put for me today.

This medical miracle for Dorotea was deliberate in view of the pandemic. It's what we need for the world.

It was Justino who got knocked out. I hope he is alright; we don't need another undeserved casualty.

Eva needs a shrink. I can't see how she could still want Art back in view of everything he's done to her, which is compounded by his crimes against the state.

Government corruption is disgusting and there doesn't seem to be a way to eliminate it. Gov. Zavala is getting his just desserts, as we can be sure Art will.
