I'm anticipating "MEPS" will be finished this month soon since we've got 13 episodes left in this epic Telenovela (watching Episode 147 right now).
 

ECDLP #48

- Marcelo wonders why Daniela didn’t tell him about her “pregnancy/abortion” sooner. Lucia goes up to her room. Marcelo drags Daniela out of Casa Gaxiola.
- Sara tells Magdalena that she told Alonso how she feels about him in front of Rebeca. Magdalena has doubts about how Mario feels about her and compares him to Ricardo Marquez. Sara tells her not to do that. Magdalena is confused
- Daniela swears on his mother’s grave that she isn’t lying. Marcelo says he had the right to know. Daniela asks if he would’ve married her but he says he doesn’t know. Marcelo wonders why she went to tell Lucia then.
- Marcelo says he’s not going to leave Lucia for her.
- Nora goes to Lucia’s room and asks her what Daniela wanted. Lucia doesn’t want to talk. Nora finds out that Lucia has a permanent job at the factory.
- Rebeca isn’t surprised to learn that Lucia is working at the factory. She knows that Nora just wants to be close to Marcelo. She says Alonso is right when he says that Nora needs psychiatric help.
- Marcelo goes back to Casa Gaxiola but Lucia isn’t there.
- Lucia goes to see Leti and tells her about her relationship with Marcelo and her doubts. Leti says she herself hates being single.
- Magdalena asks Mario why he’s interested in her. He says Rebeca has nothing to do with his feelings for Mags. He’s just never fallen in love with anyone else but would like to with her.
- Rebeca wonders where Alonso has been. He says he went to see Sara to apologize since Rebeca wouldn’t have then he went to see Nazario.
- Daniela has told Milagros about her “pregnancy/abortion”. Milagros isn’t happy to hear about it.
- Ligia calls Rodrigo. They plan to meet up the next day. Lucia and Leti overhear part of the conversation. Leti asks Ligia if she was talking to Rodrigo Zúñiga - Lucia’s ex.
- Ligia tries to say it was a different Rodrigo but Leti knows that Rodrigo Zúñiga used to work at the law firm. She wouldn’t be surprised if it is true.
- Nora thinks that since she’s not the daughter of Alonso’s great love that she doesn’t get the same opportunities that Lucia does. Alonso tells Rebeca that he’ll force Nora to see a professional no matter what.
- Marcelo returns to Casa Gaxiola to see Lucia. They go somewhere else to talk.
- Rodrigo and Sergio are at a bar. Rodrigo gets a text message from Ligia and Sergio thinks it’s from Nora. Rodrigo tells him it was from Ligia. Sergio wonders if they are in a relationship and hopes Rodrigo doesn’t have future problems because of that.
- Lucia thinks what Daniela said is too serious to lie about. She asks if what he would’ve done if Daniela hadn’t gotten an abortion.
- Marcelo acknowledges that he has a past just like Lucia does (referring to her being jilted by Rod) but his present and his future is with her.
- Brigida visits Rebeca and asks her if she knows someone named Daniela Suarez. Rebeca says Daniela is Marcelo’s ex girlfriend.
- Rodrigo visits Ligia. She asks him about Daniela visiting him. They eventually end up in bed.
- The detectives trace the bank details of the check Lucia gave to Clara and get Clara’s address.
- Brigida tells Amador about who Rodrigo’s female friend is. Amador still doesn’t care.
- Rafaela thinks Daniela made up the story about her pregnancy and abortion. She asks Marcelo about Lucia’s reaction.
- Alonso asks Lucia if she went out with Marcelo and wonders if they argued but is sure Marcelo cares about her. Lucia asks him if there’s any news about Clara.
- The detectives discover that Clara left and her friend doesn’t know where she went.
- Rodrigo tells Ligia that he told Sergio about their relationship. She isn’t happy and tells him to leave.
- Amador shows up at Ligia’s apartment before Rodrigo is able to leave. He asks her who she’s with.

I just read that Amor Eterno is returning to Univision and replacing QT starting in exactly two weeks on 6/21.

"MEPS" Episode 147 (Part LV):
690.) Franco explains to Padre Bosco that it was Jackass #2 Camilo Elizalde who attacked Steve Norton, Jr.,; Bosco brings up his recent meeting with Artemio, who wants concrete proof of the corpse of Eduardo Juarez.

691.) Bravo HQ: Artemio still gloating about whacking Liliana & burying her in the same place as Eduardo. Lots of blah-blah between Artemio & Psycho Barbara.

692.) Upon Bosco's revelation from Artemio determined to figure out Eduardo Juarez is alive; Franco realizes that Artemio is hell-bent on killing this Eduardo person & Bosco explains he offered the body in exchange for Liliana.

693.) Somewhere in the Bravo Mansion HQ: Liliana is crying inside her room, looking at the chess board. #FREELILIANA

694.) Bravo tells Psycho Barbara that it's too bad Liliana betrayed his trust & he will NOT forgive anyone for betraying him ever! He's got sinister deadly plans in store for Liliana (Franco better get his ass over there to save her ASAP).

695.) In the meantime, Mooching Damian drives up to a public arena smack-dab in Mexico City with lots of folks around in broad daylight; he calls Psycho Barbara via cell phone, but she's really taking so long to get there because it's so obvious she's setting him for a huge fall.

696.) Speaking of downfall, the Feds are watching Mooching Damian's every move: using lots of surveillance. Just like that, once the dog sniffed the explosives (Mooching Damian was going to get set-up by Psycho Barbara at some point); the Feds & other law enforcement agencies roll up blaring out the large alarm sirens to arrest him LOL.

697.) While that's going on, Clingy Erika said Lovely/Venus told her that Steve, Jr., had a heart attack; Franco hasn't notified Steve, Jr's family members about what happened. Once Franco was looking around for Lovely/Venus, realizing she's not there, he figures out something is going wrong.

698.) Speaking of Lovely/Venus, she's walking down the street in broad daylight, cryingly telling Franco that she couldn't sit there inside the hospital doing nothing, she's going to do something about avenging Steve, Jr.,; Franco sternly urges her to come back ASAP, but Lovely/Venus' mind has been made up: she's going to kill Jackass #2 Camilo.

699.) Redhead is notified by Franco that Lovely/Venus is gunning for Redhead's EVIL Big Bro.

700.) Inside the penthouse apartment of Jackass #2 Camilo, he's listening to some awful, pathetic hip-hop when Venus walks inside. They both look at each other angrily as Venus hyperventilates, which Jackass #2 Camilo then begins to toss her around....

701.) Jackass #2 Camilo flaunting his inner OJ Simpson by twisting Venus' arm around behind her & launches insults including threats such as he's going to show her what happens to someone who crosses Jackass #2 Camilo Elizalde: he rips her shirt (this dude is a SADIST), Venus kicks him in the groin then she finds a big knife in the sidebar. However, Jackass #2 Camilo gets more aggressive, gripping on her wrist, yet Venus knees him in the groin AGAIN & stabs him through the hand YES!

702.) Grupo Lactos: Priscila runs over to Jackass #1 Anibal's office to ask if he heard about law enforcement arresting Mooching Damian for committing terrorism, etc.,

 

"MEPS" Episode 147 (Part LVI)
703.) Venus has Jackass #2 Camilo by the hair & also has the knife to his throat. Venus scolds him this is for him & all of the other men in her life who have done whatever they wanted with her without any regard to how sick it made her, etc.,

704.) During this, she reveals her real name: Venus Garcia & she's been an escort her entire life & wants Jackass #2 Camilo to look at her so that he knows that it was a prostitute who sent him to the other world.

705.) Following commercial breaks, we see Venus telling Jackass #2 Camilo (who's screaming like a little scared WUSSY), that Steve, Jr., is not going alone....Jackass #2 Camilo will go first. She's definitely sure that Jackass #2 Camilo & his group of buddies violently beat up Steve, Jr., & during this, she's SLOWLY dragging the knife along his throat.

706.) Meanwhile Franco is completely stuck in traffic LOL(Dude will miss all of the good parts of the Venus & Jackass #2 Camilo showdown) when Psycho Barbara calls him, he tells her that he's stuck in traffic, but she doens't care: she wants to see him ASAP at Grupo Lactos; Franco responds that he's got something else to worry about, but Psycho Barbara tells him they have to get Liliana out ASAP because Artemio will have her whacked.

707.) In the meantime at Grupo Lactos: Jackass #1 Anibal is questioned by Priscila if he had anything to do with having law enforcement arresting Mooching Damian; he of course, denies the allegation when he gets information & says greetings to Commander Lozoya (he seems to be everywhere LOL).

708.) Jackass #1 Anibal ups the ante even further: with Creepy Vlad silenced & Mooching Damian sent to prison, these recent developments are good news for both him & Priscila (y'all know Creepy Vlad will make another appearance soon).

709.) While Venus is holding the knife to Jackass #2 Camilo's throat, Redhead & the desk-guy from downstairs in order to get Venus to STOP. More negotiating skills from Redhead to Venus as Jackass #2 Camilo squeals like an expletive pig.

710.) The cops FINALLY show up inside the penthouse apartment & obviously armed with guns drawn.....

711.) Over at the police station, Cousin Jacobo informs Mooching Damian that they're throwing all of the baddest allegations & other crimes at him & he's NOT getting out of jail anytime soon with no bail. Just right on cue, we see Mommy Gallardo wailing like the idiot drunk she is OMG.

712.) Redhead FINALLY gets the knife out of Venus' hand & away from her EVIL Big Bro's throat while she covers Venus's messed up & torn dress shirt. Jackass #2 Camilo then screams & taunts more insults that Venus is a whore & she's going to pay (YEAH RIGHT DUDE) while police officers take him to jail.

713.) Franco missed the whole action due to being stuck in traffic & Redhead tries her best to calm down Venus, who runs over to Franco & cries like a baby.

714.) Padre Bosco has to endure the creepy giggling & overbearing of Clingy Erika, who is all determined to marry Franco & she wants Bosco to officiate the wedding; Body Language tells us he's NOT happy about it.

715.) Grupo Lactos: Franco & Psycho Barbara continue their intimidation taunts inside her office including Franco threatening to expose Psycho Barbara's role in the chaos for 20+ years if Artemio kills Liliana & Bosco; Meanwhile Jackass #1 Anibal informs Daddy Elizalde that Jackass #2 Camilo has been arrested & that Redhead was the one, who signed the report.

 

QT #112/113, Part 1

(Was that really only two episodes? It felt like about five.)

- Mat wakes up and babbles Val's name after she slurps his hand. The nurses take the off-brand syringe to Dr. Orellano, who forbids anyone from visiting but won't tell them why.

- Basurto drags Eva out of the pension in handcuffs for aiding & abetting and also drugging his deputy, but on orders from the governor Leo calls and tells him to let her go. (Basurto: "Now I look like an idiot." Tirso: "You were already an idiot.")

- Mat flashes back to Val's masked declaration of love. He asks the Doc if Val came to see him before he went into the OR, and the Doc says yes. (Mat: "No fue un sueno!")

- Lorenzo is worried that his children will be special in same way he is, but Cori tells him he just suffered a lack of oxygen when he was born and it's not hereditary. They agree to save up their pesos before getting married. How much do we not care about this?

- OMG. Instead of Blue or Less-Blue Pat, Leo is now being haunted by...his own doppelganger, with Don Patricio's hat an riding crop. He tells him(self) that if he doesn't do away with Artemio, Artemio will betray him. He orders Servando to follow Eva until she leads them to wherever he is hiding.

QT #112/113, Part 2

- Val visits Nadia and manages to convince her to help nail Leo by...coming to live at La Noria. (Are you sure this is a good idea? It doesn't seem like a good idea.) Val forgives Nadia the abuse, but I can't forgive Val that Seussical sweater.

- Minnie staggers into Angelita's room and drunkenly slobbers all over her. Sab has her thrown out in a remarkably restrained way, while Ange squeaks and hyperventilates.

- Vicente pulls up a chair at Luisa's cafe and tries to persuade Servando to come clean for his own protection. Servando seems to waver, but Leo's lawyer walks in and instead he makes a great show of shouting at Vicente and storming off. The lawyer reports this to Leo at their subsequent judge-bribery planning meeting.

- Dr. Orellano tells the assembled crowd that someone tried to off Mat. Val immediately looks accusingly at Leo. No one is to leave the waiting room until they've been interviewed by the police. Do they ever leave the waiting room anyway?

- Vicente overhears Luisa on the phone telling Bere she's pregnant. He is upset -- not about the pregnancy, but about the fact that she withheld the information from him. She apologizes and he forgives her, reiterating his offer of marriage. She doesn't know what to do. (Earth to Luisa: THIS IS ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS. Snap out of it.)

QT #112/113, Part 3

- Val & Mags bring Nadia back to the hacienda, where Min and her shot glass are unspeakably rude to her. (Min: "First we get orphans, prostitutes, and cripples, now a drug addict." Dalia: "And of course we have YOU, dear.") And after they bring her into the lion's den, THEY DON'T EVEN WATCH HER. Leo accosts her the next day as she sits on the edge of a bridge over a millpond -- guess they couldn't find a staircase -- and she tells him she's there to gather evidence of his crimes. Seriously, this girl IS crazy. Leo tries to manhandle her and she bites him, which is fun. Then Tirso arrives and breaks up the party.

- Min accuses Leo of the attempt on Mateo, and he reponds by locking up all the booze.

- The next day, Luisa has a new luke! I suspect Avon products were involved. Vicente likes it. Luisa likes it better.

- Dalia goes to the prison to visit Aaron, who confesses his love for her. Of course Guillermo is listening around the corner.

- Lorenzo & Tito welcome Ange home with a badly misspelled banner.

- Val argues with the guard outside Mateo's door, but she is refused entry. Mat hears her voice and babbles her name some more.
 

"MEPS" Episode 148 (Part LVII):
716.) Psycho Barbara explaining to Franco/Eduardo that there's one person whom Artemio Bravo is SCARED of & it's Eduardo Juarez (the son of Soledad Cruz, who was the sister of Ana Gregoria).

717.) Across the hall, Jackass #1 Anibal runs over to Daddy Elizalde's office to tell him that law enforcement have Jackass #2 Camilo in custody & the person who pressed charges was none other than Redhead.

718.) Over at the hospital, Venus & Redhead are told by Clingy Erika that Steve, Jr., has come out of his coma & right on cue: Venus runs off to see the Loveable Gringo.

719.) Redhead gets an angry phone call from Daddy Elizalde about her putting Jackass #2 Camilo in jail & tells her to high-tell her expletive back to Grupo Lactos ASAP.

720.) Steve, Jr., & Venus talk inside his hospital room & he already figured out that it was Jackass #2 Camilo & his group of buddies who violently attacked him; Venus assures him that Jackass #2 Camilo is now in jail paying for what he did. My question is whatever happened to Jackass #2 Camilo's group of buddies ? Did they go to prison too ?

721.) Now we get to see a very EPIC Kodak moment & gloating as we gloatfully watch Jackass #2 Camilo in his jail cell. Neither the guards or the roommate give a crap about him being the one & only Jackass #2 Camilo Elizalde, etc.,

722.) Clingy Erika talking to Miguel about him grabbing Redhead, etc.,: Fast Forward.

723.) More gleefully giggling from Clingy Erika OMG: Some of y'all came here because of Crazy Ivana from "ACUERDAS".

724.) Padre Bosco praying & worried about the collateral damage & others who are at the mercy of an EVIL psychopath, who's only goal is destroying people's lives & violent vengeance.

725.) Franco/Eduardo goes to see Steve, Jr., & Venus at the hospital room.

726.) Grupo Lactos: Jackass #1 Anibal, Psycho Barbara, Redhead are in the office as Daddy Elizalde scolds Redhead for turning in her big brother to the authorities. Redhead responds to her STUPID Daddy that his no good, EVIL son Jackass #2 Camilo attacked Steve Norton, Jr.,

727.) Blindsided, Daddy Elizalde yells at Jackass #1 Anibal for not telling him, Being the squirmy, wormy jackass he is, Jackass #1 Anibal said he just found out about this himself; then he scolds Redhead (who's sitting in the swivel chair) for not being capable of doing it for her husband, Mooching Damian; Redhead gets annoyed & sneers at her EVIL eldest brother & is tired of being the Judas of the family & plans to expose ALL of the dirt.

728.) Redhead goes even further: exposing Jackass #2 Camilo mistreated everything & everyone he could: torturing animals & blasted both Daddy Elizalde & the late Buji Montserrat of doing NOTHING about it. Redhead brought up other details of Jackass #2 Camilo destroying everything that Santiago cared about: stealing Clingy Erika from him; violently beating on Clingy Erika on Redhead's wedding day; violently attacking Jacinto, etc.,

 

QT #112/113

Gracias, Blue Lass. Lots of details are missing and now is not the time for this!

-- The governor had called Leo about Art so Leo put the kibosh on the investigation
-- Val put the Magic Medallion into Matt's hand when he was still out like a light
-- Test results showed that Eva used a horse tranquilizer to drug Cipriano
-- Sandy never displayed any emotion at any of the updates about Matt's condition
-- Berenice had another fight with Chacho so she went home ti mother
-- Val prayed to the Virgencita for Matt's recovery
-- Carlo gave Ange a plush animal. Sab was concerned about not having a malr protector fir Ange and herself
-- Nadia resisted one more time out of fear, but Val persuaded her to move in.
-- Carlo realized Sab wanted Leo, but told her that Leo was evil.
-- Sandy told Uriel she didn't have time to retrieve the needle. However she had disposed of the gloves and the vial in the trash bin in the corridor.
-- Leo's shark warned him about Servando
-- Dalia and Esme wondered who would try to kill Matt. Val asked about security measures which Leo did not like
-- Eva was angry that Luisa is pregnant by Art
-- Magdalena began suspecting Sandy of attempting to kill Matt
-- Dalia spoke to Guillermo about their case against Leo, which could be civil, criminal, or both
-- Dalia and Esme both believe that Sandy tried to kill Matt. owever, Sandy was just outside eavesdropping. Sandy looked like she had murder on her mind.
-- Nasty confrontation between Nadia and Leo when she stupidly said ahe would get revenge for him stealing 7 years of her life.
 

QT #112/113

I have to say that Nadia bothers me. I don't know that Val can trust her not to relapse. Not to mention what Nadia would have done to her eventually had Leo not had her locked up in the cuckoo's nest. Her threat made at Leo was a boneheaded move.

Leo is a loose cannon now, but I'm betting Servando will be aswell.
 

ECDLP #49

- Ligia tells Amador that her cousin Daniela is staying with her. Amador seems to recognize the name.
- Rodrigo asks if the person who was at Ligia’s door was the man she was previously with. Rodrigo leaves to see if he can catch up with the other guy but already he’s gone
- Lucia is waiting for Marcelo in his office. She says she has no valid reason to break up with him but still doesn’t like that Daniela is still interested in Marcelo
- Magdalena meets Rafaela at the outdoor market.
- Marcelo tells Milagros isn’t interested in getting back together with Daniela and has strong feelings for Lucia. She gives him her new address/phone number.
- Brigida asks Rodrigo why he didn’t tell her that Daniela is Marcelo’s ex girlfriend. Rodrigo says he and Daniela are just friends and doesn’t like Brigida meddling in his life.
- Marcelo and Lucia talk about Milagros’ visit. Marcelo says his relationship with his mom has always been rocky. He thinks that things would’ve been better for his mom if he had died and not Federico.
- Alonso returns home and Rebeca scolds him for going out in his condition. He met a psychiatrist that would be good for Nora and wants Rebeca’s support.
- Nazario returns to the factory and finds Amador arguing with Lalo about his client’s order.
- Sergio tells Ligia that Rodrigo told him about their relationship. Ligia actually tells him nicely to mind his own business.
- Amador calls Ligia and wants to talk to her about Rodrigo.
- Milagros asks Daniela if the pregnancy story is fake to blackmail Marcelo. Daniela denies it. Milagros thinks Marcelo is right for thinking that. Milly says that if she finds out that Daniela is lying, they’ll have problems.
- Lucia goes to Marcelo’s apartment. Rafaela tells her that she met Magdalena and has heard things about Rebeca. Lucia needs to ask Rafaela something important.
- Nora tells Alonso that she will agree to see the psychiatrist only if she can work at the factory.
- Lucia goes to talk to Milagros. She wants to talk about her relationship with Marcelo. She doesn’t want to be Milly’s enemy and tells her to think about it.
- Daniela tells Nora she’ll figure out to win Marcelo back on her own. When she leaves she almost collides with Brigida. Nora introduces Daniela and Brigida. Daniela remembers her as the “hysterical woman” that answered her phone call.
- Mario goes to see Magdalena at the hospital. He gives her a ring box and tells her to think about it.
- Marcelo and Nazario talk about Amador going through with the contract that Naz opposed to. Marcelo thinks they should tell Alonso.
- Amador goes to Ligia’s apartment and tells her that he thinks Rodrigo is dating Daniela. Ligia says that’s not true because Daniela is in love with someone else who happens to work for Alonso. Amador concludes that it’s Marcelo.
- Milagros tells Daniela that Lucia went to talk to her. Milagros thinks having Lucia close is a good idea.
- Magdalena shows Lucia the ring. She thinks it’s too early in the relationship for marriage. She’s afraid that history will repeat itself. Lucia tells her not to be afraid to take the risk. She would say yes to Marcelo if he asked.
- Alonso tells Rebeca that the detectives told him that Clara left town. He tells her about Nora’s condition for seeing the psychiatrist. Rebeca isn’t happy to hear it. Maybe Rebeca can convince her.
- Nora goes to her first session with Dr. Roman Andrade. She tells him that she’s not crazy and that her only problem is her older sister who she hates.
- Marcelo asks Lucia about her conversation with Milagros.
- Mario goes to see Samuel to tell him about proposing to Magdalena.
- Magdalena is getting ready to see Mario. She puts the ring on. The doorbell rings and she goes to answer. She sees a man in the shadows who greets her. When he steps closer he asks her if she remembers him. It’s Ricardo Marquez, the idiot who left her at the altar.

QT #114 Part 1 of 2

Dalia told Aaron she saw him as a friend and nothing else. She loved another, but Guillermo had already left and didn't hear this.

Alberto, Rebecca, and Berenice discussed the next company meeting. Chacho made an even bigger ass of himself (if that's possible). Nothing she said made him realize he was wrong [Tammy Wynette, where are you?].

Val argued with Cipriano about not being allowed to see Matt, who got out of bed and punched him out. He kissed Val and then sank to the floor. She helped him into a chair. Dr Flavio and a nurse got him back to his bed.

Alberto and Rebecca left. Berenice argued with Chacho, then pushed him out of the room.

Dalia wasn't sure that Guillermo felt the same way about her. Aaron seemed to accept her feelings. Dalia told him he would eventually find love.

Dr Flavio told Matt to take it easy in his recovery. He was now allowed to have visitors. Dalia, Esmeralda, Carlo, and Val came in. He was happy and told them he missed the kids. Val played the kids' video for him.

Leo entered Sandy's room and accused her of trying to kill Matt. He warned her not to do anything stupid. He wanted to put all the “servants” out of the hacienda...including herself. She said he should be evicting his mother and to give her(self) “my proper place.” He told her she had none and walked out.

Dalia told Matt that the kids were feeling more vulnerable without him. Val told him her Aunt Nadia was there, Dalia said Angelita was better. Esme decided to stay in Matt;s room that night, Dalia the next. Carlo insisted on talking to Matt alone; Matt had to kiss Val first.

Servando talked with a “friend” who had no good advice for him. Servando did not want to live in fear forever.

Carlo closed the door behind Val and asked Matt for Esme's hand in marriage. Matt laughed and gave him his blessing if Esme accepts his proposal.

Val confronted Leo about the attempt on Matt's life. He denied it and said Sandy also denied it to him. Val was not fooled; she knew it had to be one of them. Leo said the fatal words “As long as I live you will not be able to be with him.” He stood up and threatened to shoot Matt between the eyes in front of her. She almost laughed, saying he'd be more likely to shoot in the back out of cowardice. He pulled his usual threat and told her he had eyes everywhere. She said that if anything happened to Matt she would tell all.
 

QT #114 Part 2 of 2

Val talked to Guillermo about Nadia's case. He was cautiously optimistic.

Leo opened a briefcase before his lawyer, who said it should buy what he was asking for. Leo told him it was practically all the money had had in the bank. The shark said he would call to update him.

Sandy entered Matt's room, denying that she tried to kill him. He was not fooled. He knew of her failure to panic and enquire about his condition. Sandy continued to blame Val. Esme arrived and ordered Sandy to leave.

Minnie visited Aaron. She appeared to be thoroughly smashed.

Victor had to leave a message for Magdalena that he could not stop thinking about her. Sandy then entered without knocking and tried to manipulate him into making Leo the prime suspect.

Minnie tried to come on to Aaron who told her to get lost. She viciously whispered that he would never be free with everyone hating him.

Leo and Sabina came to see Matt to thank him for saving Ange's life. Leo reminded him of their pact and he did not try to kill him. Sab gave Matt a letter from Ange. Dr Flavio came in with test results and the news that he will have to follow a special diet.

Berenice told Eva she was upset about Chacho's behaviour.

Val visited Matt, who tried again to get her to admit her love. She left a letter with him. Esme came in with Matt's clothes and her certainty that Val loves him no matter what she says.

Minnie was in the café drinking her fifth beer. Camila and Facundo cut her off and she made an ugly scene. Cipriano came in during this and saw her fall down. He offered to take her home.

When Chacho tried to provoke Alberto outside Alberto lectured him. [I hope he embarrassed the crap out of him.]

To the sound of flamenco music [which I love] Eva boarded a bus. Servando was watching.

Eva met Art wherever and told him that the investigation was closed. Art didn't quite believe this and wanted to see the documents showing that.

Leo thought back to the hospital visit when Cipriano entered his office and told him about Minnie. He became angry at the details.
 

QT #115 Part 1 of 2

Eva and Art talked about a future together. He talked faaaaaaaamily again. As they hugged in the doorway he spotted Servando and sent her home, as this was a trap. Servando was not the only pursuer. Art ran away and began having chest pains. This led to a rooftop shootout which ended with Servando's bullet in Art's back.

Esme brought Matt home and helped him into bed. Nobody would let him do anything. He did not want to return to the hacienda either.

Night. Camila and Facundo talked about Minnie and how miserable she must be. Facundo told Camila he wanted to make her happy. She said she wasn't ready, but definitely enjoyed the kiss.

Matt recalled what Val said when he was semi-conscious. He got up from the bed.

Eva's cousin in Santa Rita called and told her Art was dead. She cried. Berenice and Sandy looked at each other.

Matt went to Val's room to talk to her about what he remembered. Naturally Leo came into the house calling for her. Matt was trying to get her to repeat what she said then. Leo barged in.

Sandy called her aunt back and got confirmation. All three cried.

Val was backed into a corner and told Matt she didn't love him/ Leo then hit him hard. Val restrained Leo, who finally left the room. Matt stared at Val, looking for the truth. She slowly exited.

Leo picked Minnie up from her bedroom floor. Val left the room to get the first aid kit for the cut near Minnie's hairline. Leo yelled at Corina, who swore she didn't provide any booze and didn't know where Minnie got wasted.

Matt went to Dalia's room to tell her about Minnie and that they had to get her help. Sandy called Matt to tell him the shocking news about Art.

Val tended to the cut on Minnie's head. Corina found an empty bottle in the bathroom. Leo demanded to know where it came from. No answer later he demanded that all the booze be locked up. Val said that Minnie was an alcoholic and Leo asked “What do you want to do?” When Val suggested an addiction clinic Leo refused because of Scandal. Minnie cried

Chacho arrived at Eva's to find Leo, Tirso, Sandy, and Berenice. He embraced his crying wife. Matt arrived and Sandy ran to him. She asked him to help her arrange the funeral, but did not insist he become a pallbearer.

Servando called Leo to tell him about Art. He told hi that Eva may have seen him. He was sure that Art had known he was following him.
 

QT #115 Part 2 of 2

Padre G arrived at Eva's in case he was needed. Sandy demanded that Tirso throw him out because he and her father had been enemies. Tirso told her that Padre G was there to comfort Eva. Sandy left the room. Matt followed her. Tirso told the padre that this was a shooting in Santa Rita. He knew nothing else.

Sandy cried on the bed. Matt sat on its edge. He said they should call the doctor because of the stress on the baby. She was angry he was only thinking of the baby. SSDD. Val was calling but Matt did not answer. Although she didn't see the screen, Sandy bitched about the caller being Val. Val texted Matt a message that she would help if needed.

Next Day. Sandy slept in her clothes. She woke up and said “Tell me my father is alive” and eventually said “Why does God take everything away that I want?” Matt did not know what to say. Sandy told Matt she loved him. He did not feel the same way. She told him to leave.

Val, Magdalena, and Nadia talked about their case and Val said they had to proceed. She called Berenice and they agreed that Val should not attend the funeral to prevet issues with Sandy.

Happy visit for the kids and Matt.

Guillermo told Dalia he had reconciled with his daughter and he would probably go to live with her.

Leo's shark asked whether he had anything to do with Art's death. Leo thought back to killing the body snatchers and said “No.” The lawyer commented that Art's death was quite convenient. Leo asked about the appeal and was told that it would take about a week. It would normally take months. He had to remind Leo that judges were heavily scrutinized and therefore had to be careful.

Dalia was a bit sad; Guillermo said he had nothing to keep him there. He would be leaving soon and needed to close out his practice, etc. Her case would be turned ove to a trusted colleague. Dalia got up, faced away from him, and cried.

Matt was talking to and petting a beautiful horse.

Dalia told Esme about Guillermo's pending departure. Esme asked if she had told him her feelings. Dalia had not. It also occurred to Esme to wonder whether Sandy had tampered with Dalia's pills.

Victor and Cipriano talked briefly about Art. Dr Flavio came in and Victor asked questions regarding the attempt on Matt's life. He finally said that the fingerprints on the hypodermic could be Sandy's.

 

QT 114/115

Steve, ever since Leo first put on his father's hat and picked up the riding crop he has behaved as though he's possessed by his father.

While we haven't had the dedicated discussion about Karmageddon, I think he wrote his own fate with his threat to Val a few episodes ago. Now that he has no more money on hand with which to pay Servando off I am predicting that he will die in a shhootout with him.

Rod really needs to grow up and get out of his parents' home. Brigida could drive anyone to drink. Her shrill voice is back as well.

Marcelo made a valid point to Milagros when he said that if Daniela had been pregnant she would not have refrained from telling him. I would add that she would also have told Milagros and t his would have been a shotgun wedding.

Eva certainly loves to dress in a mysterious disguise and play the spy. Too bad her fun is over. Servando killing Art was easy enough, although Eva definitely saw him across the street.

I am not sure how I feel about Eva. She is a long-suffering woman who has done her best but she is still delusional and more than a little behind the times. Until recently she seemed supportive of Berenice but her view of marriage seems too 1950s.

We have no idea how many other women Art has had in the nearly 30 years since their wedding day but we know that Tito's mother couldn't have been the only one. I can't believe she was willing to go back to that.

The slicing and dicing has been very unfair not just to us but to the writers and actors in this series. There is a lot to wrap up in this tale. And Paloma gets the finale episode.

I hope Matt and Val get to finally be together and that they will adopt Tito and Angelita. Sab did kill Amara and she has to pay for that.
