And she turns on the water works, I don't feel sorry for her at all. If she thinks she deserves somebody like him then she'll get the bags of sh*t that comes with him. Alicia has had to put up with his crap for years and I'm sure hes been an abusive cuss and shes been holding it in. Time to let it out girl, cut the ass loose, there is certainly something better waiting for you.

Speaking of ai wonder if martin believes the guy when he told him he didnt kill his son? And now he knows his defense attorney is gonna be alicia's daughter.
Martin's ex wants him back. It will be interesting to see how that will go.

Last nights episode was delish. The
Turkish people really no how to stir the pot. I get the feeling that there is something strangely weird going on between gediz and sancar. And we may not find out about it til the flash back. They are such good actors. And the writers really know how to pull a
Rabbit outof their hats. Just like what they did last week with yahya and sancar. But last night they needed witnesses to pull whatever this is off, and the yard was full. Man those eye language is off the charts.
I agree with Refika, that friend ship is not gonna break up over a woman, those guys love each other like brothers. They're gonna save nare and their friendship.

Menekse, you little liar. She wants to take someone's child and shes loosing hers. No sooner than she tells asswipe"I will give the child to you" she looses hers. She has nothing to trick sancar into a love
less marriage. Yaaah! Loosing a child is horrible, but she brought this on Her evil self.

Kaveman is gonna be a daddy. Poor kid.

DEJAN Ep 4

Alicia comes to and Martin helps her up but since she can’t quite stand (I’d be pretending to stay in those arms :-) He carries her inside and sits her on the couch. He asks is she has problems with blood pressure but nopis. He then asks if she has emotional problems, but Alicia attributes it al to stress about the premio shindig. Gonzo interrupts and introductions are made.

Julieta is interviewed, The secret of Julieta’s success is SerJerk. (viewerville collectively rolls its eyes). Afterwards, SerJerk takes her to the side and tells her to cool it or she will see his dark side.

Gonzo wants to take Alicia away from all the drama but Eva insists that Alicia stay and stand by her jerk of a man. If Alicia leaves, Julieta will become to star of the event...and Ali shouldn’t allow that!

Martin tells Diablo that it bothers Martin to see a woman like Alicia be in the situation she is in. He has a ood sense of smell and knows when someone has a problem. Diablo warns him tha this sense of smell can get him into problems with SerJerk.

Mystery guy is Lucas who seems more like a Lucifer. He has known Miranda since before she was born. He claims to be the direcot r of the Carranza Foundation which surprises Miranda since her mama is the Director. Lucifer explains that Alicia is the director only to the public; he is the one who runs everything and makes sure to uphold SerJerk’s image. He then asks how it feels to be the daughter of someone like SerJerk… is he as good a father as he is a news reporter? (Viewerville shouts “NO!” to both).

Karina got Martin permission for Martin to see Cholo. He is grateful and Karina hopes he shows his gratitude soon.

SerJerk explains to Alicia why so many photos have to be taken. Ali doesn’t want to take one more pic with him...he is such a farce! But when the reporters insist, Alicia is relents.

Julieta is asked about her novio. She admits she has one but won’t give any more info.

SerJerk and his buddies are with Alicia. Julio asks what kind of man SerJerk is; Ali replies that Sejerk is a man full of surprises. When SerJerk adds that he is honest (cough, cough) but has defects, Julio goes on and on about what a wonderful man SerJerk is (Julio must want something or I ssimply a brown-noser)) Julio then wonders how Ali and Jerk have stayed together for so long since he has been unsuccessful with his two marriages.

Fedora and Rebeca criticize Julieta’s dress as slutty.. Gonzalo approaches and compliments Fedora’s beauty (hmmm…).

 

DEJAN Ep 4 part 2

Gonzo goes to the kitchen and chats with the chef who has culinary academy and will soon be opening up enrollment.

SerJerk, Ali and Martin chat. Alicia mentions how she knows Martin and mentions the accident which SerJerk is very surprised about since she never mentioned. (He wouldn’t have cared to listen anyway). When left alone. Martin asks how she is. Ali thanks him for all his help and for his discretion.

Miranda is bored. When Yuri and friend start mocking her for being the type that is fascinated with video games and socially distant…like a Hikikoko…, Miranda menacingly gives the correct term, “Hikikomori” which is a Japanese term for A form of severe social withdrawal; and warns that she might be a Hikikomori and those types can get very aggressive!

Lucas approaches Alicia who asks how things are going with the foundation. Lucas implies that she isn’t around much at the foundation…and she must be so busy with family stuff. Alicia plans to go by the Foundation soon.

Eva overhears Julieta bash Alicia and introduces herself. She warns Juls that women like her usually end up alone, dragging their guilt and rejects of society...and she should go look for some other man since that is what her type end up doing anyway.

Martin approaches the three ladies. Rebeca and Fedora are as much impressed with Martin as we are...and they let him know without hesitation. But Martin’s heart is already taken ...by his daughter.

Alicia announces that she is leaving.

Once home, SerJerk is grateful that Alicia went to the event. She tells him it will be the last time and it was all just for show. Alicia gives SerJerk his luggage and tells him to leave. He pleads to be allowed to stay the night, so Ali agrees but he’d better talk to the kids in the morning since they need to know that what a scoundrel he is!

Julieta is haunted by Eva’s words...while she stuffs her face with popcorn.

Martin recalls catching Alicia when she fainted. He sends Ali a voice message that one of his defects is that he is a busybody and is making sure that her attacks are under control. He asks for simple happy face to make sure she is ok. She obliges. How sweet!

Julieta hates that SerJerk and wife are still living together. Chiquis wonders if maybe SerJerk still loves his wife. (Nopis, Chiquis, the only one SerJerk loves is himself!)

Alicia is upset that Eva talked to Julieta…after all, Ali appreciates that Julieta opened her eyes by telling her about the affair.

Miranda sees that SerJerk slept in the study again. She asks why he and Ail are upset but he deflects.

 

DEJAN Ep 4 Part 3

Martin visits Cholo who denies killing anyone. Martin asks about the graduation medallion but Cholo has no idea how he had it. (I wonder if Martin’s sense of smell will work on Cholo) On his way out, Martin sees and recognizes Yuri.

Ali meets with the school director who warns that if there is another incident with Miranda, Miranda will be expelled.

Gonzo goes to check out the cooking school and plans to enroll. (Yay for Gonzo!)

Yuri tells Cholo that his having no alibi is a problem. He tells her he can’t remember what he was doing a year ago. When he tells her that the only company he has are his plants and that they are probably wondering where he is, she offers to go tend to his plants. Yuri assures him she will get him out of there.

Karina tells Martin that Yuri is the attorney who is defending Cholo.

Alicia lectures Miranda. Miranda wonders if Ali only cares about what others will say about her. Ali cries that she is having trouble understanding her and asks Miranda to help her out since she’s already dealing with so many other issues. Miranda tells her to concentrate on ending her torment with her father.

Julieta misses SerJerk. He chides her for ruining everything but there is something about her that he can’t resist. They end up rolling in the sheets.

Martin is petting Nelson (I like Nelson! I want to be Nelson!... the dog). Carlota calls and asks Martin to help with Sofia ‘s computer. She hangs up because her new patient is there...guess who!! Alicia!! (Things will get messy!)

Meanwhile, Julieta smiles since she is the only one who can turn SerJerk on. She wonders how long it’s been since she was with Alicia, but SerJerk pretty much tells her to mind her own business. When she asks if he still loves Alicia, SerJerk doesn’t know how to answer...but he is not going to leave his wife! (So there, you slut!)

It seems that in spite of Alicia’s rage that Sergio thinks if he just keeps a low profile, he will not have to change anything. He seems to be good at scurrying around like the rat he is.

I LOVED Eva telling Julieta how things were when dealing with a married man whether it turns out to be true in her case or not. At least, she got her upset. Julieta is soooo immature.

Alicia is finally realizing that she has to put in maybe a different kind of effort because her youngest isn’t like her siblings.

Gaby Spanic looked like herself with the brunette do.

Sounds like Lucas is frustrated to some degree because nobody from the family after which the foundation is named is never available to do something at the foundation. I cannot wait to find out what the whole reason for his dissatisfaction is.

Much is developing quickly.” (Things will get messy!)”. Amen RgvChick, Amen. Love that Gonzo has summoned his courage and is going to follow his dream.

“Miranda is bored”. I’m not 😊 Definitely the most interesting character here. “Alicia is finally realizing that she has to put in maybe a different kind of effort because her youngest isn’t like her siblings” was perfect Jarifa. I felt for her in trying to deal with her child whom she loves but doesn’t have a clue as to how she deals with her. Very life like.

Yuri defending Cholo and Carlota having Alicia as her patient are far too close for comfort.

“SerJerk” and Julieta are hardly worth mentioning. I agree that Eva knocked Julieta right off her pedestal and I did take some rather mean satisfaction seeing her tears. She is so mean and vindictive finally someone made her feel at least a small something for helping to bring about the ruination of a marriage and decimation of a family.

TU AMOR. I loved how Lucha wanted Valentina to turn out to be Guillermo's daughter, because she's so much nicer than Nora. Also, now we seem not to know the facts about Val and Nora's parentage because Horacio knows who all those people in the old letters are, but we don't. It seems that Horacio's sister took in the baby of a dead friend or relative and then had one of her own? Hard to tell. Those writers keep toying with us. :) And Rosamaria seems to be blowing hot and cold about whether Val is too good for Claudio, should get back together with Ricardo, or not. Very irritating. We now know about Ricardo's schemes for Annalisse, which in my opinion make him unworthy of anyone. And a PSA about rubella and pregnancy. They must not be as strict about vaccinations in Mexican schools as here.

Diana, yes, those pairings are far too close for comfort. Another sunny, hot and humid day here, too, but it wasn't supposed to be.
 

TU AMOR. And my word! I was amazed when Val slapped Nora, though it didn't surprise me when Nora slapped back and said Val owes her a slap (for her to give Val). Is this the equivalent of and old-fashioned sexist catfight? And are these 2 middle schoolers or what?

Embajador S2 #9 part 1

Gediz pulls up to Nare’s house and asks the guard if everything is okay. The house is empty, he replies, no one is here. What? The guard says Ms. Nare said you knew. Gediz asks for an explanation. The lady returned to the mansion, he replies. Gediz zooms off.

Sancar arrives at the olive grove office to find Yahya sleeping on the couch. Sancar wakes his brother--Yahya! And Yahya wakes with a start, what happened? Sancar tells him, if you hadn’t stayed here and went to Dudu, I would have killed you. Yahya says Sancar is obsessed with Dudu. He tells Sancar there is nothing between them. Gediz harmed everyone. Did you really think I was with her?

Sancar asks if Gediz fired Dudu. Yes, Yahya replies, and he appointed me CEO of the new marina. He was trying to separate us. Sancar is not so sure. I don't know if he's trying to separate, he says, or if he’s looking to get as close as possible. Yahya asks, close to who? To Nare? Sancar is surprised and asks his brother, you also knew? Yahya responds, I think everyone knows except Nare. That girl is naïve. [exactly what I thought!] She seems European, he adds.

Sancar tells Yahya he can't be the director of the new marina because Kahraman would notice the game. Nare is the director of the marina, and she would not dare to resign. Why not, asks Yahya? It’s obvious, Sancar replies, who would give custody to an unemployed mother?

Sancar switches the subject. He wants someone else to keep an eye on Kman. Yahya asks if something happened to Loki. No, but Sancar doesn't trust him. He asks Yahya to find someone. Sancar also thinks they should make an appearance. He says, if we watch Kahraman, he must be doing the same to us. Yahya asks what they should do. With a big smile, Sancar tells Yahya to try to enter the mansion and he will beat him up.

Yahya thinks Sancar should find another reason to hit him. Sancar says, if I want you to get closer to him, I have to push you towards him. Kahraman must believe that he made us face off against each other. Ok then, Yahya is in.

Sancar figures that Akin must have given Kman money, and he kidnapped Nare for at least 10 million. Shouldn't we let Kahraman enjoy it a little more, Sancar asks? Yahya agrees. He will go to the mansion, Sancar will arrive as soon as he finds out, and then the show begins. That’s a plan. Sancar says he will go to the marina first and see what Kahraman is doing.

Menekse calls Kahraman. She’s ready to leave in half an hour. Loki is going to drive her to buy things for the baby. Halise said she couldn't go alone so Necdet will accompany them. Loki knows that we have to pretend that we’re going shopping before we escape. Kman approves and tells her to send a message when she leaves the mansion. I'm watching, he tells her, we'll follow you and take Loki somewhere safe. They end the call.

Meanie asks her brother not to say anything to Sancar. Necdet tells her he will keep his mouth shut just this once. He threatens, if you screw things up like this again, I'm going to give you away. Meanie calls her bro a hypocrite. Necdet just wants to stay in this mansion. He tells his sister he doesn't even care about her. He notices Gulsiye scrubbing a rug down on the patio and has a thought, if I marry Gulsiye, will they let me stay in the mansion? Meanie sighs and walks away. Necdet calls out to Gulsiye, very good job, the patio smells very good. If could, I would eat there. She gives him a couple of disgusted looks.

Kman gets a call from his eyes and ears at the mansion, and we only hear his side. Any news? Nare went back to the mansion? Oooo… but Menekse didn't tell me anything. Any other news? Come over to the house tonight and I’ll give you some money. Well done.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of the slap.

I was also shocked Val hit Nora but Nora tried to ruin Val's life! She's still trying but...

When Nora hit her back, I would have knocked her on her butt.

Was anyone else annoyed Claudio was intervening?? Given the circumstances, I don't really blame him but it's time Nora got her comeuppance. Unfortunately, now she is more than determined to ruin any chance of happiness Val may have.

And, why is Rosamaria still hanging around? She's seen more than enough and if she is still interested in Ricardo from a personal perspective, something is wrong with her.

Sancar shows up on the marina terrace. Kman asks, what are you doing here? I'm visiting. I came to Gediz. Kman says he’s not here. Sancar sits and says, I'm going to enjoy the view while I wait here. He asks Kman, aren’t you going to offer me a coffee? Kman calls to order a coffee for Sancar. In the original he said to make the coffee “bitter”. Kman proceeds to ask Sancar, and... how are your wives? I hope they are okay. [do you think Sancar would like to kill Kman on the spot?]

Meanie and Necdet make their way out to meet Loki at the car. She warns Loki to stop smiling like an idiot or they will be suspicious. He opens the door for Meanie. Ha, ha, Necdet is waiting for Loki to open the door for him. Not gonna happen.

Refika shows up at the mansion. Gulsiye greets her, wow, Mrs. Refika, where did you bury the wolf? What wolf are you talking about, Refika asks? Gulsiye says the one who died on the mountain. Isn't that why you are here? [I can’t be 100% sure but she might be making a reference to Refika swallowing her pride by coming to the mansion to see Halise]. Stop talking nonsense, Refika replies, I have to talk to Halise. Where is she? Gulsiye goes to get her.

Loki stops the car for Necdet to get out. He thanks his BIL, I'll never forget what you did. Necdet replies, that's what I'm afraid of, but forget it, it doesn't matter. Loki tells him they must leave before they find out and he will let him know when they arrive [to wherever Loki thinks he’s going with Meanie] Necdet says, sure, send me a postcard. After Loki drives off Necdet says, I swear Loki is even stupider than me. I hope God doesn't punish us for this. He starts walking.

Halise comes out to the porch to meet Refika. Refika greets her---dear friend. Halise says, I thought you had forgotten your dear friend. Refika tells her, this is not the time for complaints. Things are going to get very bad. What are you talking about, Halise asks? Refika is hesitant then says, my son is--is in love with Nare. Halise gasps and Elvan whispers to Gulsiye, quick, go find Nare.

Refika adds, and he already told her. What did Nare say, Halise asks? Elvan pipes up, what was she going to say? She told him to go play elsewhere. Halise turns to Elvan, you knew? Elvan replies, yes, of course and excuse me for saying but you ladies don't know how to raise a son. Your two are spoiled. Halise tells her to stop.

Halise asks Refika, will you get Gediz give up his love? Refika replies with a question, could you get your son to give up that love? Halise knows she’s right. Halise worries, when my son finds out about this, he will become a murderer. She wonders why that woman (Nare) wants to end our family. What should we do, Halise asks?

Nare shows up and says, I know what to do. Mrs. Refika and Mrs. Halise, I wish I could apologize for this situation, but… I am not responsible for what your son did, she says to Halise. And I didn't tell your son to fall in love with me, she says to Refika. Nare continues, but I also do not intend for the two families become enemies just because of me. I think I have the solution for this situation.

How, Halise asks? Nare answers, the custody trial for Melek is this week and your son is determined play dirty if he has to. If you are willing to testify in my favor, I will be able to take my daughter and move to Switzerland. There will no longer be any reason for your children compete with each other.

Halise babbles a bit… what are we going to say in court? Nare tells her to say it’s not appropriate for Melek to stay here because she would have problems with her stepmother. Will you help me get out of this hell, Nare asks? Halise agrees. Refika does, too and she tells Nare, you have you stayed at our house and I know that you are a great mother.

Halise worries that Sancar will throw her out of the mansion again. Elvan steps in—forgive me, but who the hell does he think he is? Do you see how many of us live here? We'll kick him out, and he'll have to go live with Yahya!

And speaking of Yahya, they can hear him yelling outside the gate. Let me go, don’t touch me! I'll break your face! The ladies hustle off towards the commotion.

Yahya is trying to push and shove his way in. The guards hold him back. Yahya continues to shout. Let me pass! I'm going in! Who will stop me? The ladies show up at the gate and Zehra and Ayse come out from the house. Yahya shouts to his mother, they won't let your son enter! Halise asks why. Hasan says Mr. Sancar gave the order. To hell with Mr. Sancar, Yahya shouts.

Elvan shouts at Yahya and he yells back, do you really think that I am a traitor, Elvan? I should be used to it by now. I'm always guilty in your eyes, right? Elvan responds, isn't it true? Didn't you betray your brother? Nare listens carefully. Yahya shouts back, I’ve never betrayed him, and I didn't kidnap Nare either! Halise gasps and everyone else is shocked.

Elvan continues, we know that bastard Akin transferred to money to your account. You sold your brother's beloved for two million. Halise wants an explanation. Elvan says you heard right. Your youngest son stabbed his brother in the back. Yahya proclaims his innocence, it's not like that, don't believe them! Nare is thinking about this. Yahya continues to raise a ruckus.

Sancar gets a call from Hasan. Sancar blows up, I told you not to allow that damned Yahya in! Sancar storms off. Kman runs off after him. Sancar drives away pleased that his plan is working. Kman calls for his car and gives the order to stop them [assuming this is Meanie and Loki]. I'll be there in ten minutes, he says.

Loki’s as happy as a clam [and about as smart as one], singing one of his dumb songs as he drives along with Meanie. She gets a cramp. Are you ok, he asks? She says it’s just stress. What stress, he asks, are you afraid of something? Don’t be afraid, he says, nothing will happen to you, me, our baby [he’s partially right] We will be very happy.
Kman’s guys cut them off and drag Loki out of the car. What? Who are you, Loki asks? He struggles against the thugs, leave me! Who are you? Meanie gets out of the car. She tells Loki, did you really believe that I was going to run away with you? How sad. You've always been an idiot.

Kman shows up and gets out of the van. Damn you, Menekse, Loki shouts. Kman gives the order and the thugs lead Loki away. If they don’t kill me, you will deal with me, he shouts at Meanie, I will find you and kill you, Menekse!

Kman congratulates Meanie on a job well done. Meanie gets another cramp. Kman asks her if she’s in pain. Meanie tells him it must be from stress. Kman says, let's go home and I'll call a doctor. As they walk to the car, Meanie gets a very bad pain, she can’t walk and doesn’t answer.

Sancar shows up at the mansion and the show begins. Sancar makes a beeline for Yahya and pushes him. He shouts, I spared your life, you idiot, and you come to my door? Yahya asks, is this your door? My family also lives here. When you tried to murder my loved one, Sancar yells, that’s the day you lost your family and this house. You can't exist if I exist, Sancar says. Who cares if you exist, Yahya replies. Sancar slugs his brother.

Embajador S2 #9 part 4

Halise calls for calm. She tells Sancar, Yahya is your brother. He’s a brother who shot his brother, Sancar answers and he orders Yahya to be taken to his car. Yahya struggles and tells Sancar he will regret this. When you find out that I didn't hurt Nare, he says, you will regret it! Sancar rushes Yahya, don't pronounce her name! He grabs Yahya and stuffs him in the Mustang and quickly whispers, wait for news from me. Get out, Sancar shouts for everyone to hear, Go!

Sancar asks Zehra to take their mother inside. He asks Nare, are you okay? He looks at Elvan and goes over to her, come with me. She turns away from him. You can ignore me later, he says, we'll talk, come with me. He puts his arms around both Nare and Elvan to walk them back to the house.

Gediz speeds through the open mansion gate and screeches to a halt just before he hits anyone. Sancar tells Nare to go in the house. No way is she going. Gediz gets out and says to Sancar, I'll talk to Nare first and later with you. Sancar stops him and warns Gediz not to do what he is thinking. Then stop me, Gediz tells him. We need to talk, he says to Nare.

Nare asks Sancar to let her talk to Gediz. Never, he replies. Can you trust me this time, she asks? Sancar says, you are hurt, this will hurt you. She counters, and what is the shield [Sancar’s protection} for? Won't it heal me? He reluctantly lets her go off with Gediz.

Nare is ticked. What are you doing Gediz? What's this all about? Gediz asks why she isn’t in her own home. After what you said yesterday, did you really think that I would stay home under your protection? You want that me to protect you, but Sancar can do it, he asks? She tells him to shut up. I made it clear, she tells him, I am not some kind of prize for either of you. She sighs in frustration.

It's been a long time since I stopped searching love, Nare says, I'm only interested in my daughter. All I want is to take my daughter and run away from all this. The trial is this week, and I am facing a man that tries to stop me and does not let me have my rights as a mother. I beg you, Gediz, don’t do this to me.

Gediz tells her okay, don't accept my love. Forget everything. Stay and I will help you get custody. How, Nare asks? I know Sancar’s secrets, he says, if you use them against him, the judge will grant you custody. Nare’s seeing a different side of Gediz now. She asks him, if it wasn't me, would you sell your friend for another woman? Nare answers for him—you wouldn't. Would you dig a grave for your friend? If it wasn't me, she says, you wouldn't have tried to bury your friend inside that grave. Gediz replies that Sancar dug his own grave.

Gediz returns to Sancar and with everyone watching, he declares, friendship and good intentions are over, Sancar. You said you would become my enemy. I did it. Nare asks Gediz not to continue and Sancar realizes what happened. Sancar moves in close to Gediz and tells him, you are another loss, besides Nare. I accept the loss, Sancar says, I deserved it. Sancar gives him the death stare. The friendship ends here, Gediz, and the hostility begins. He puts his hand out and Gediz takes it. The family watches in horrified silence.

Embajador S2 #9 part 5

Nare shouts, have you lost your minds? What do you mean the friendship ended and the hostility begins? Are you insane? Sancar walks away and Nare stops him You will suffer, Sancar, please don’t do this. He doesn’t want to hear it and goes off. Nare tells Gediz to go after Sancar. If you don’t, I will, she says. What a surprise, Gediz responds. He gets in his car and goes.

Kman brings Meanie back to his house he calls for Ceylan to take care of her while he goes for a doctor. Ceylan asks Meanie what’s wrong. Meanie explains she has a difficult pregnancy and sometimes this happens. Ceylan takes his opportunity to happily tell Meanie she is pregnant, too, but Kahraman can’t find out yet. Meanie gives her congratulations, but Ceylan wants a “mashallah” [what God has willed]. Meanie gives it.

Akin asks Meanie if she’s okay? Just a cramp, she answers. Akin tells her, we have many things to do. Meanie says, yes, I will give you Sancar’s daughter. Akin is pleased, so you’re going to help me? Yes, of course. I’ll hand over the little girl. Celyan is not happy to hear this. Meanie has another bad cramp and she gets up from her seat. There is blood on the chair.

Nare comes to Sancar at the stable. He reminds her that she has a wound and she should go inside. Nare replies, I don't think it hurts as much as yours. He doesn’t want to hear it. She says she understands, but first it was Yahya and now Gediz. Don't carry this alone, she says, it’s not good. Sancar smiles and tells her he will get used to the load. Go to our daughter, he says. What are you trying to say, Nare asks, just because you have suffered you choose to always do it?

Sancar gets a saddle for Gece. Nare stops him, Gece is mine. What? You heard me, she says, this is my horse and he’s not going anywhere. She takes the saddle from him. Don't cause more problems, he says. Nare says he always causes the problems and now it’s her turn. Gece is my horse, and you won't take it without my permission, you understand? Is this how you intend to stop me, he asks? He goes to saddle the other horse and Nare says she will follow him on Gece.

Nare says, Menekse rode that horse to the mansion for your wedding, yes? That stops him in his tracks. She doesn’t let up, that's typical of you. I can only ride Gece myself, but to ride that other horse is fine, isn't it? You behave like this because Gediz is in love with me, and now you're going to ride Menekse’s horse? Go then, she says, what are you doing here? Go.

Sancar throws the saddle down and hurries off. She shouts after him, try to escape! But I know you will return to me, and you know that, too. You will come back! Listen, she continues to shout, I swear that I will not allow you to become enemies now.

And we are out.

Dondi, thank you so much for that detaiked recap. However,even with your terrific translations of the dialogue , i still have no idea exactly what is going on between San, Nare, and Gediz. It just dient make sense to me. Evidently, Nare has forgotten that Akin recently was quite easily able to kidnap her and that San could have died trying to save her and that both of them were shot thanks to Akin. How exactly does she think that she can protect herself and Melek from him if she gains custody and takes Melek to Switzerland. I have to wear an industrial strength beanie as i suspend my disbelief before every episode . But...the weirdness continues to fascinate me .

It seems nobody is happy except Necdet . He loves living and eating in the mansion . He seemed to really enjoy watching Gulyise working on that carpet and contemplated a plan to stay in the cozy nest by marrying her. Geez .

What does Kman plan to do with Loki ? I wonder if Meanie is losing the baby or if this is nust another false alarm . If she loses it a Kmans , i guess she will pretend that she is still pregnant. Uff

Diana, I admit to being a big fan of the slap but only in certain novelas . . . Like this one. Pure vicarious fantasy! Anywho, I was annoyed also that Claudio intervened because it was none of his business and inadvertently it gave Nora some standing in the argument. What bothered me even more was Nora being waaay too comfy around Claudio after that. He should have TOLD her to keep her hands off of him. Instead he just looked concerned. I hope Claudio doesn't become a stupid galán.

Analisse thanks Ricardo for the meal. It's been three days since she's eaten. He asks her where she lives. She says in a hostel near the church. She lived with Fatima's father until her daughter was born. He forced her to take the child to the orphanage. After that he left her and she was kicked out of the room they had stayed in. Her father had kicked her out of their house for being with that man. He said she was 18 and should be able to take care of herself and her daughter. Ricardo asks her if she wants to get Fatima back. She says yes but she doesn't know how. He says to trust him. He's going to help. He sets her up in a room for a couple of days and tries to give her money for food. She asks him what he wants in return for all of this. He says he only wants to help her get her daughter back.

Horacio is in his treasure room talking to his father's portrait. He tells him to listen well. In this letter is the story of how, in compliance with your orders we turned our backs, and now the cost of our stupidity has returned. Or maybe worse, our cowardice. He starts to read his sister's letter, "Dear Horacio, I know that neither you nor my father will forgive mother but I couldn't leave her alone. I want you to know that heaven sent me two little angels to cheer up my life. I had a daughter and I'm pregnant. Amparo (girl's name) died. I have a daughter and you have a niece. I ask God that one day you'll know her. That all the resentment will be gone from your heart, and she can call you Tio. Thanks to mother, I was able to run away. " Horacio swears to his father that no matter how much it hurts and no matter what he has done, this letter has to leave this room even if his father rolls over in his grave.

Lucha comes into the office to fill in Patricia about what she heard from Guillermo. He doesn't trust her and thinks she stole from her father. Adelaida defended her and told him that she and Ricardo are his only family. He said no, that either Valentina or Nora is his daughter. Lucha hopes that it would be Valentina because she's a good person and not a venomous snake like Nora. If Nora felt like a queen as a poor person, as Guillermo's daughter, she would feel like a god. Pat tells her not to tell anyone, even Ricardo.

Helena opens the door to Hector. His smile fades when he sees her expression and he asks if he can come in. He says he wanted to talk to her because he doesn't want to lie to her. Perfect, she says, but I'll talk first. She says she's been thinking and it's best that they break up. She doesn't have a lot a time with fashion week coming up and doesn't want to spoil his plans. It's better that he feels free to do what he wants without feeling comitted to her. Doesn't he agree? No. He doesn't agree to anything and doesn't understand anything she's telling him. But, if that's what she wants, OK, there's nothing else he can do. And Mina's not coming by the way. Don't look for her anymore. What am I supposed to do, bring her? Tell her Helena was my novia but now we're nothing? She's going to help you though. Of course not. I'm not going to confuse her. He gets sad and leaves. Helena quietly cries. Later, she tells Majo what happened. He just accepted it. He didn't even protest she says. Majo points out to her that she didn't leave him any other option. She should have let him talk. Helena spends the night on the couch thinking she made a mistake. She realizes that Patricia might have perfectly calculated everything.
 

TU AMOR ep 33 part 2

Claudio and Valentina are hanging out at home when the doorbell rings. Val gets the door. Rosamaria has popped by. They ask her if Ricardo sent her. No, he doesn't even know she's here. She's worried about his health and she thinks he needs Valentina's help. Val is willing to help, but the problem is, he doesn't understand that there is nothing between them anymore. Claudio says he knows it's hard for Ricardo, but the world doesn't revolve around him. Rosamaria says they're right but the problem with traumatic brain injury is that it can never be cured. Ricardo suffers from almost unendurable pain which sometimes comes with memory loss. The time may come when he loses his memory permanently. Val feels really sorry for him, she didn't realize he was that bad. Rosamaria tells Claudio that if Val and Ricardo go somewhere to talk, they'll stay closeby. Val agrees and leaves the room. Rosamaria says thanks to Claudio and kisses him on the cheek. She waits at the door giving him a long look until he opens it for her to go.

Valentina and Ricardo talk while walking in what looks like a park. She explains that what they had is gone and they need to get on with their lives. She also asks him why he didn't tell Patricia that he saw Nora and her. She wants to know what he's hiding from his sister. She's only concerned with money and class. That's why he didn't tell her anything about Val and Nora. She's capable of separating them like his father did. Val tells him that Pat was at Camila's house and she hid because she didn't know what to do. He tells her that as time passes he's remebering things he forgot. He says, that at the airport, he swore to her father that he'd take care of her. He told him they were going to Milan because she wanted to be a great fashion designer. He says if she could have only seen the look of pleasure on her fathers face... He can't get that look of gratitude out of his head. While they're waiting not too far from Ricardo and Val, Claudio asks Rosamaria if she's married or what. She tells him that with her job she doesn't have time for relationships. She asks him about getting married to Val. Isn't he afraid that sooner or later she'll realize that she still loves Ricardo? Ricardo asks Valentina what's wrong. What is she thinking? She says if you distrust your sister so much why did you tell her that we were going to escape from the ranch? He says he never told anyone. She says he's lying. He swears by his sacred mother that he didn't tell anyone. There is no way his father and his sister could have known. Val processes this and comes to a realization. She takes off from the park heading somewhere urgently. Claudio tells Rosamaria that he needs to see what's wrong and that they'll talk later. Ricardo tells Rosamaria that he has to find a way to stop the wedding. For the first time, Rosamaria agrees with him 100 percent.


 

TU AMOR ep 33 part 3

Hector and Mina are at home and she tells him she heard her abuela tell her tia that he and the vieja have broken up. He tells her no, they're just going their separate ways. That's called breaking up, Mina replies. He's been thinking that this shouldn't get in the way of her business. Leonardo shows up for breakfast because he wants to talk to Hector. He asks Mina about her business. When she goes to get her things he asks Hector whether he'll be modeling for Helena? When Mina comes back he goes overboard about her business. They'll have a web page, social media, a friend of his will take photos, etc. He'll pay for everything. He has Mina come closer so he can give her a big hug. It really bugs Hector to see his brother play the big man for the family. Leo even asks his mother for a benedicto before leaving and tells Hector that he loves him. Outside the house Hector tells Leo not to get Mina so excited about business. She's just a kid. Leo doesn't want her to be mediocre (like her dad?) Wow, Hector says. How you enjoy coming to humiliate us. You never change. Leonardo tells Hector not to clip her wings like his were. Leo says that if Hector doesn't help her, he'll take her to live with him. Even worse, he goes by Helena's to tell her that Hector likes mopping the floor with the feelings of anyone who cares for him. That's what he did to Mina's mom and the reason the poor woman died.

Patricia is working on a new scheme. She has set up a meeting with a collegue of Enrique named Aníbal. She says she'll be brief. She asks him how long he's been working with Enrique and Guillermo? About two years. And, she says, they never raised your pay. She asks him where he sees himself in five years. He would like to backpack around Europe. She can offer him a lot of money. If he does what she wants, she'll buy him a first class ticket. She gives him a wad of 1000 peso bills. He'll get the rest when he does the job as well as a first class ticket to Europe. He gets a little over his skis and makes a pass at Patricia. She puts him in his place in no uncertain terms. Fine. He'll wait for her instructions.

Nora asks Valentina why she burst into the room like that. She tells her that she scared her. Val says "It was you!" and slaps Nora hard and then gives her a nasty backhand as well. Nora wants to know why she hit her. Has she gone crazy? No. She says that Nora is the one that said she and Ricardo were escaping. She asks her how she could have betrayed her like that. We see in a flashback Nora's exact words of betrayal to Patricia even though she denies it to Valentina. Don't you realize what you did?, Val asks. You're my sister. Why do you hate me so much? What did I ever do to you? Nora says that Val blames her for Ricardo's death. Well he's alive and Val better choose either Claudio or him and quit playing games with them. She also gets off a pretty good slap to Val. She won't destroy Val's designs. She'll think of something that will really hurt her. She sows doubt in Claudio's mind by telling him she worries that Ricardo would always be a shadow between him and Val.

Rosamaria gives Analisse a checkup to make sure she isn't sick. Ricardo makes her cry by telling her that a couple is going to adopt her baby. He assures her that they'll help her get her back. He'll leave so Rosamaria can talk to her a little. He plans to stop by Val's to see what happened. Analisse tells Rosamaria that she contacted rubella when she was about five months pregnant. When she told Fatima's father they should go to a doctor, he beat her. She was worried because her mother always told her that it's dangerous for a pregnant woman to catch a childhood disease.

And my heavens. Nora radiates "trouble" at first glance. In seeing and hearing Val's ravings he should shut Nora down politely but firmly at every opportunity. Amazing how effective a firm No and a stern countenance is when utilized properly. Ack. :)

My favorite line among many was “He gets a little over his skis and makes a pass at Patricia”. I did enjoy how quickly and completely she shredded him, quick and to the core.

Helena and Hector can both be extremely stubborn and steely. Helena is buttoned up to the extreme, keeping her heart closed, seemingly emotionless. Hector takes her flimsy excuse and instead of sweeping her up into his arms, capitulates and leaves.

What does the doctora want??? I'm beginning to wonder if she is as perfect as she seems. Val and Claudio have (mercifully) burst their bubbles...

However, to really understand the biological relationship between Val, Nora, their mother, father(s)?, and relatives, we may have to wait for another letter r two or for Horacio to explain things. Why does Rosamaria want to stop Val and Claudio's wedding? You'd thing she'd be happy to have Val out of her way. And yes, Diana, what does the doctora want? I also wonder if Leonardo will really come through for Mina. And yep, the lies he tells Helena about Hector are unconscionable, Diana.

Chick, thanks so much . This show has lots of characters and plotlines .i ususlly only watch one telenovela, but there isnt much i want to see on tv , so i have been turning Uni on at 8 while i read and text and email folks ! The one i am !east interested in is the 8 oclock show , but i like the Hector character and hare the slimy brotger Leonardo so....i kind of watch.

Alicia has a lot to deal with from her cheating , weasly husband, her troubled youngest child ( what is Miranda into???...goth, dark video game stuff ?) , and her nagging , bighaired mother. Uff i did enjoy Eva giving Julieta a taste of her own medicine. Juli might be the princessa of mean, but i think she just got dressed down by the queen of mean.

P.s. Weather report...here we have had several days in the 90s , but today's thunderstorms and rain cooled things off.

And now her therapist is Martin's ex...uh oh.

I don't have time for a recap, but here are my very bare bones notes...

DEJAN Ep 5 Part 1
Juls loses it because SerJerk has been lying to her for three years…he said he was leaving his wife! Serjerk points out that he never promised anything. SerJerk thinks Juls has no idea what a family but Juls counters that a family is what she wants...with him!

Alicia has told Carlota everything...her whole life has been a lie…she had always said she had the familia perfecta. She turned into a wife and mother for one day to the next. What scares her most is her family and what will happen. Carlota advises that Alicia needs to take care of herself. She asks if Alicia is willing to forgive her husband for her family.

Sofia tells Martin that she needs his help ASAP. Meanwhile Alicia’s session continues. She senses that SerJerk might be sincere in saying that he is sorry. She thinks SerJerk was unfaithful because he was looking for a younger woman...because of a midlife crisis...but then recants when she remembers that the affair has been going on for three years.

SerJerk goes and cries on Fabian’s shoulder; he doesn’t want to lose his children. Fabian shows SerJerk the article on Julieta which reports that she is in love. Fabian warns that if Julieta talks she could cause a scandal...his career is in jeopardy.

Lucas looks at the news article with a picture of the Carranza family at the award ceremony. His mom tells Lucas that he needs to forgive (and they leave us wondering why and what he has to forgive...ugh!)

Yuri lies to Moises that she is going to the beauty shop...she’s actually going to Cholo’s place.

Alicia leaves her session and soon after Martin arrives as he talks to his father about his visit with Cholo...and informs him that Cholo’s attorney is SerJerk’s daughter.

Yuri arrives at Cholo’s neighborhood which is not a very nice neighborhood.

Cholo and his cellmate talk. Cholo is afraid he won’t get out.

Yuri looks around and sees all the plants and alebrijes. She is muy impressed (as are we!).

Fabian tells Rebeca that Alicia kicked SerJerk to the curb. Rebeca wants details but Fabian doesn’t think she should be a busybody.

Julieta plans on making a scandal if SerJerk doesn’t change his mind.

Alicia goes to visit Fedora who is having some fun with Samuel, a young handsome hunk. After the hunk leaves, Ali and Fedora chat. Fedora asks what Ali will do if SerJerk doesn’t leave. Alicia replies that then she will leave the house. Fedora then shows Ali the article on Julieta and states that Juls is out to destroy Ali’s marriage.

Sofia complains that Martin is taking too long. Martin asks for a sandwich. When Sofi leaves, they talk about Carlota’s patient who is going through a midlife crisis.

 

DEJAN Ep 5 Part 2

Facundo goes to the police station and wants to see his son’s murderer suspect. Mujica doesn’t let him but assures him that the lawyer who is defending him has very little experience and will fail.

Yuri shows Chela all of Cholo’s plants and alebrijes via Facetime...she feels very comfortable there. Yuri smiles as she thinks that she will free Cholo.

Eva tells SerJerk that flowers aren’t enough to fix the mess he made. He thanks her for her advice and tries to hug her but she tells him not to touch her! He is a scumbag and she is only doing this for her daughter and the Familia.

Lucas calls SerJerk and needs to talk to him. SerJerk tells him they will meet at a café; Lucas notes that SerJerk doesn’t want to be seen with him at his office.

Yaya takes Miranda a snack while she plays her video game. Miranda tries to explain about her game and her avatar. Miranda then talks to her fish and will share a secret. Meanwhile some guys including La Culebra (Paco Luna). are playing the same game; La Culebra comments that he plays against some girl but he doesn’t know who she really is.

Martin leaves another little message for Alicia...he just wants to say hello and make sure she hasn’t had another attack. Carlota wonders if he is still talks to himself and Sofia wants to spend the night with Martin but he has dinner plans.

Alicia listens to the message and Gonzo catches her smiling. Alicia notices that he has a big smile too; so Gonzo suggests that they cook dinner and he will tell her about his news. They walk in but SerJerk announces that it is paella night. Alicia and Gonzo are not happy campers.

Facundo recalls Simon’s murder. As he walks away a mean looking guy watches him. (My guess is that the guy is the real murderer...)

Sofia is with Martin at his apartment. He tells her that he has plans to have dinner with a neighbor who is his friend. Karina arrives and is glad to finally meet Sofia. Martin offers to make dinner but neither want him to cook (he must not be such a hot cook, but that’s ok, he’s still HAWT :-) so he orders dinner.

Moises calls Yuri who tells him she is going to have dinner with the familia no so perfecta. He wants to go over but she tells him it’s family only.

Karina mentions that she is a cop. Sofia thinks that it is only natural that she and Martin are friends since they are both interested in crimes.

Things are tense at the Carranza dinner. SerJerk announces that they will all take a trip. Alicia storms off and SerJerk follows. Alicia goes off on him since he is playing his little games and pretending that life is as usual. They have a shouting match and the kids come in. They know something serious is happening and they have a right to know what it is. Alicia thinks it’s time they know the truth...either SerJerk starts talking or she will!!

There were several lovely moments. Cholo’s home was a fantasyland of beauty and creativity. His hidden paradise radiated tranquility and serenity. Martin is not the only one with potential galan material.

Sofia made a good effort with Karina and the initial awkwardness seemed to dissipate quickly. But as Karina is still in the “friend” zone, that might change.

Fedora having fun with her boy toy made me smile, especially as she couldn’t remember his name.

"La Culebra comments that he plays against some girl but he doesn’t know who she really is”. So now we know how he and Miranda will meet.

“he must not be such a hot cook, but that’s ok, he’s still HAWT :-)” perfect!

Moises looks a bit too comfortable with another woman (does she share his office? Not sure who she is).

My heart goes out to Facundo and yes, I agree, the scowling character oozing guilt is likely the real murderer.

I’m glad Alicia had the courage to tell SerJerk that the children deserve to know the truth. They are not youngsters needing to be protected and shielded. I suspect Yuri (“familia no so perfecta”) and Miranda will have a difficult time with the news as they both appear to be daddy’s girls, who love and look up to their father. Impressions that will be dashed with this blow to the heart.

I suspect it will depend on what they are told. Is SerJerk going to sugar coat things saying there are issues without going into detail, will he tell partial truths or outright lies?

I hope Alicia tell the entire painful truth. Rip the bandaid off so the initial pain is raw and real, rather than having the truth come out wrong and even more painful when revealed.

TU AMOR. Just a few comments before JoelD's recap. It's good that Rosamaria, unlike Ricardo, is being frank with Annalisse. Of course Leo is still trashing Hector to Helena, but why does he want custody of Mina? Why is Lucha always dressed like a stereotypical 19th-c. peasant? Do people in rural Mexico really still dress like that? Except at festivals, of course. Now Nora and Ricardo are both lying about whether Nora told Ricardo's father he and Val were going away together. And of course Val believes him and feels bad and responsible. She is just TOO good. And does evil Nora destroy some of the fabric Val was working on? Whoa! Guillermo and Adelaida are going to invite Claudio and his novia to dinner. Oh the suspense! Is it early enough in the novela that that won't happen?

Kavruk is finally out of bed and he comes to the stable. Nare and Melek are there. The translation is wrong here. Kavruk says he thought that Efe wanted to take the horse for a ride, but it looks like he already left on foot.

Sancar has gone to the mountains, we see him walking and thinking. We also see Gediz at his quiet alone place.

Halise and Refika wail like mourners at a funeral. What a sad fate follows my son, Halise cries, his brother stabbed him in the back. His best friend, Gediz, buried him. Why? Why? Why? Elvan and Zehra are rolling their eyes. Elvan speaks up, enough! Haven’t you cried enough? No one died and you look like you came from a funeral. Anyway, why would their lives be ruined because of Nare? They ruined her life. Don’t blame her.

Refika shouts, she was the one who put one against the other! Halise chimes in, she only brought trouble when she came to this house. Elvan reminds Halise that Nare brought something very good, she brought Melek. She adds, even if she brought you a miracle, it wouldn’t be enough for you. You would look to find another problem with her.

Zehra agrees and says that the mothers should look at their own sons first. Elvan thinks Zehra should explain it for them. Zehra starts, Yahya kidnaps Nare, Gediz goes after Nare and Sancar left Nare to die. Now you think this is Nare’s fault? How sad. Ayse is siding with the mothers, how do you know Nare’s intentions? She is very beautiful. Maybe she is a heartbreaker and a homewrecker.

Halise stops that and asks, what to you mean by Sancar letting her die? Brief flashback to Nare telling Elvan and Zehra what happened on her wedding night. Zehra answers, it means your son made a very serious mistake that hurt Nare, ask him yourself. Elvan says, if you continue to accuse her unjustly, you will seriously regret it, wait and see.

Atike comes downstairs and joins the ladies. She snarks, I didn’t know you hired these women to be a lawyer for a married man’s lover. She’s particularly upset with Zehra defending Nare. What if this pain causes Menekse to lose her baby, Atike scolds. Elvan asks where is Menekse? She should be here to give a performance with her cramps. Atike is insulted. My daughter never lies, she says. Gulsiye gets into the act and tells Atike, yes, señora, we all know what your daughter is like.

Atike asks Halise to say something. Halise tells her she has enough problems, I won’t deal with what they say about your daughter. And by the way, where is Menekse? Atike gulps, you told them to go buy a crib and her brother accompanied her. They are still there. Halise says she told them to make it quick, why aren’t they back yet? Is she designing the crib herself? Atike says they should be back soon.

Kman arrives with the doctor. Ceylan is nervously pacing in front of the house. Kman is ticked to see her outside. Didn’t I tell you not to go out? Bring Menekse to get checked, he says. I can’t, Celyan replies, she’s gone. Where? Akin took her to a midwife, she was bleeding a lot. What midwife, Kman asks? Ceylan called the one that used to see the girls at the club [that’s where Kman met Ceylan]. I had no choice, Ceylan says.

The midwife is tending to sleeping Menekse. She tells Akin that Meanie will wake up soon. Akin tells the woman, you never saw us, you don’t know her and we were never here. She nods. He gives her a wad of bills. Akin takes Meanie’s phone and texts Necdet. He’s at the tea house playing Okey. Text: “come to this location, don’t delay”.

Kman calls Akin. What happened, he asks, did she lose the baby? Akin lies, no, she’s okay and the baby is, too. The midwife is about to correct him but Akin puts his finger to his lips to shut her up. He continues, she’s just resting now. That’s normal. Kman is relieved. Akin says he called Meanie’s brother to come get her and she will go straight home after she wakes up. Okay, Kman says, try not to be seen on the streets.

Kman passes this news to Ceylan. She wonders if Akin could be lying. Kman doesn’t think so and says he would have found out if it was true. Ceylan asks about Kman’s informant. He says she wouldn’t even know the person even if he told her.

Necdet shows up at the midwife’s house. He sees Akin and sees Meanie sleeping on the couch. He rushes in, shoves Akin and shouts, what did you do to her? Who the hell are you? He tries to wake his sister, Menekse! Menekse! He demands to know who Akin is and what is wrong with his sister. Akin tells him to calm down, your sister is fine. He introduces himself to Necdet and says, your sister must have mentioned me?

Necdet says he knows who Akin is but he wants to know what happened to Menekse. He grabs Akin by the collar. Stop the foolishness, Akin tells him, if you pay attention to what I’m going to say, you will become a very rich man. Necdet says he’s not interested, his BIL gives him a good salary. Akin sweetens the pot, what if I give you five years salary in one payment?

That interests Necdet very much, it sounds excellent. But he still wants to know why Meanie is sleeping here and he wants an explanation of how he will get rich. Akin tells Necdet he’s sorry, Meanie lost the baby. She is no longer pregnant. Meanie woke up and heard that. She sits up and cries, my baby…. my baby… where is he? It’s gone….

Back to the stable and now Zehra, Nare, Elvan and Kavruk are sitting there. Zehra tells Nare, the night you arrived at the wedding, we sat like this until dawn. Brief flashback of Sancar getting Gediz text: the girl you kicked out is at my house, you bastard.” Life is full of surprises, Zehra says to Kavruk. He nods and smile at her.

Zehra continues, Sancar was sitting where you are now and Yahya was where Elvan sits. Gediz sent a text, cursing Sancar for throwing you out on the street. Elvan pipes up, all men are idiots, they get what they want and then they kick you out! Ha, Kavruk nods in agreement. Elvan turns to him and says, you are not like that, you are going to heaven, Kavruk. [I agree]

Nare wishes she never came to the mansion. I turned the whole family against each other. This didn’t have to happen. Elvan reminds her that if she hadn’t come, they wouldn’t know Melek. Nare answers they would have known Menekse’s baby and would have been very happy.

Gulsiye is cleaning up near the gate. She sees Meanie and Necdet arrive by taxi with a cradle. Meanie is distraught and she cries as she looks at the cradle. Gulsiye notices from the distance that something is not right. Necdet whispers to Meanie, you must stay calm or else they will kick us out right away. Walk, quick. Meanie looks like a zombie. Necdet carries the cradle and they walk by Gulsiye.

Gulsiye asks, didn’t Loki bring you? Where is he? Necdet says they waited for him but couldn’t find him so they came back on their own. That’s why they were delayed in returning. Gulsiye can’t help but notice Meanie’s state. She asks if she’s ok because she looks as if she’s going to faint. Necdet answers for his sister, she’s just tired and a little pale. She’ll be fine after she sleeps. Gulsiye tells him to hurry and get her water.

Atike comes out to meet Meanie and Necdet. Where the hell were you? Necdet shoos her back in, don’t say anything.

Halise and Ayse walk up to Gulsiye and notice something’s up. Tell me, Halise says. Menekse arrived and she looks bad, she didn’t say a word. Ayse says that’s weird, maybe they should call a doctor. Halise agrees and says we’ll have the doctor check her out tomorrow.

Atike wants to know what’s going on. She’s glad they were able to buy the cradle. It’s beautiful, she smiles. We will decorate it and after all, this is for my grandson and he deserves the best. Meanie just stares at it. Her tears start to fall. She finally says, it’s empty, my body is empty, there is no more pregnancy. My baby is gone and he’s not coming back. I am not going to have a husband or a child. No mansion, nothing. She rocks the cradle and sobs.

Atike is shocked and starts crying, too. Necdet covers his mother’s mouth. Shhhh… She lost the baby, no one has to know, otherwise they will throw us out on the street. Atike cries, I will no longer have a grandson, there will not be a baby in the cradle. Meanie just sits and rocks the cradle.

Sancar is still up on the mountain when he gets a call from Loki. Loki’s been beaten. He tells Sancar that there’s been nothing, Kman has been calm at home and working. Sancar can’t believe that. Haven’t you seen anything? No news about Akin? Loki says he only sees Kman, his dad and some other men. Sancar looks puzzled. Ok then, Sancar tells him, keep watching. Kman’s guy tells Loki he did well. They won’t let the dogs eat him if he keeps behaving well.

Meanie is still crying and rocking the cradle. She blames everything on Loki. It’s his fault that I no longer have my son. Now Nare is worth much more than me, she has a daughter. I won’t have any children, not anymore, she sobs.

Halise enters the room with Gulsiye and Ayse. She looks around and wonders what is going on in the room. Necdet says his mother didn’t like the cradle and Menekse cries about everything because of the pregnancy.

Halise thinks that the cradle is great, there’s nothing wrong with it. She asks Meanie, are you crying over this or are you feeling bad? Meanie says it’s the cradle. Halise tells Gulsiye to get the bag from her room and tells Ayse to start. Ayse goes to the closet and starts removing Sancar’s clothes. Halise explains that there will be some room changes. Since Yahya has left, Elvan will move to Zehra’s room and Sancar will move to Elvan’s. We are taking his things to the room.

Meanie protests. Isn’t it enough my husband is always gone? Do you have to take his things, too? Halise explains that Sancar has lots of problems now, with Yahya and Gediz. Avoid being another problem, Halise tells Meanie. Meanie grabs the basket from Ayse, give them to me! I want to see his face when he comes for his things, at least I deserve that. Please don’t take the only thing I have of him [pathetic]. Halise asks Meanie again to leave Sancar alone because he already has many problems.

Halise takes the red bag from Gulsiye. She stands over the cradle and says, may this bring a lot of fortune and may this member of this beautiful family bring good luck. She spills the golden contents of the bag into the cradle. Ha, Necdet is the only one who applauds.

Halise notices Meanie is still very upset. What’s wrong? Think of your son. Think about all the moments you will spend with your son in this mansion. You will be a mother soon, act like one. Halise leaves, Ayse takes the clothes from Meanie and leaves with Gulsiye. Meanie cries.

It’s nighttime, our group is still at the stable. Melek yawns and Elvan takes her back into the house. Zehra gets up to go, then Kavruk shortly after. Nare stays behind and goes to Gece. Sancar returns to find her there. You didn’t leave, he says, you wanted to make sure I didn’t take the horse. Nare says they have a pending matter.

Sancar worries about her wound. And then he calls her a liar. Nare looks guilty. You hid what Gediz said to you, he tells her, that’s why you came back to the mansion. You left with him and decided to return once he confessed his love to you. You said it was because of Yahya, but…it was for Gediz. Sancar shouts, why am I such an idiot to keep believing your lies? [should have stopped at why am I such an idiot].

Nare says it’s not about us this time, it’s about you and Gediz. We are going to talk about it until it is resolved. Sancar is exasperated, what is the matter, woman? Nare answers, Me? Sancar asks for five minutes of silence so he can calm down. He puts his finger up to stop her from saying anything. Five minutes, he repeats.

Gediz arrives home to find his mother and sister right at the door waiting. He walks past them and up the stairs. They follow him and nag. Stop! Come here! I’ll strangle you, do you hear? I’m talking to you, Gediz. He goes into his room, shuts the door on them and locks it. Then goes out on the balcony and cries.

Sancar gives Nare permission to start talking. Are you going to be enemies now, she asks? Does this hurt a lot? Sancar replies, like they cut off my arm. Nare asks how he became best friends with Gediz. Sancar begins, you left and I hit bottom. I lost everything. I went to Montenegro and believed Akin. I still don’t understand why I did. It was like hell every day, he says. Nare smiles and asks, tell me what Gediz did.

Sancar laughs, Gediz approached me and said, “Sancar Efe, our mansion is going to be yours. My father insists you should inherit it, so respect his wish.” Nare says, and then you stole the money from the municipality. Sancar says, yes, we did that, too. And that was the first night I slept after you left. It was also the first day I was not upset.

Sancar says, it was the next day that I was upset. I put the municipality on Akin and I really enjoyed that. It was great, I didn’t think about you anymore. We took Kahraman’s business. The marina and four hotels. Sancar admits he’s not proud of this now but they didn’t hurt innocent people. Kahraman deserved it. We destroyed the world and we became friends.

Sancar continues, no one would have guessed this would happen, and least for this reason, because of Nare. [It sounded like Sancar says I hate you to Nare. He did not say this in the original.] If they said it, he would have told them, I can’t believe it, it’s nonsense!

He looks at Nare and says, tell me something Sancar’s Nare, when you left, Gediz was the one who took me out of that hell. Now that he’s gone, who is going to get me out? Answer me. Nare replies, Gediz will do it again. I’m going to leave and you will be friends again. Sancar tells her, you can’t go anywhere, and the relationship with Gediz has been broken. Do you want me to forgive the man who wants take my beloved?!

Yes, Nare answers, you have to. Didn’t you see how sorry he was because he betrayed you? Yes, I saw it, Sancar replies, but such a betrayal can’t be forgiven. He tells Nare, that you don’t say my name is a burden for me, let it also be a burden that Gediz and I are enemies.

Sancar gets up and wants to take Nare to her room. Nare tells Sancar that she is going to see Gediz in the morning. What?! Besides not saying my name, you treat me like this? Is this your revenge? No, she replies, I want to talk to him and understand. Sancar says this is not going to happen.

Nare says let me get this straight, I am suddenly in prison and the guard won’t let me go. Sancar accuses her of over exaggerating. So if this is not a prison, she says, I’m going to see Gediz. You have two options, either you take me or one of your men takes me. She stands firm. What?! You want me to take you to the man who told me he’s in love with you, Sancar asks? Look at me, do I look stupid?! [Forrest Gump said, stupid is as stupid does.] Nare says she does not need Sancar’s permission. And he has no intention of giving it. It goes back and forth like this, both standing firm.

But in the morning, Sancar’s truck pulls up to Gediz’ house. He lost the battle and he’s not happy. Nare thanks him for bringing her. He asks her if she enjoys seeing him like this. No answer but we know she does. He gives her 10 minutes, he will be waiting. She rings the bell and goes in, he hits the steering wheel in aggravation.
And we are out.

Miranda was excited because the other gamers invited her to join their "team" since she is so good. However, since she plays under her avatar "Enigma," they don't know she's a girl. She's worried that once they find out, they won't want to associate with her. One of the boys made a sarcastic joke about "how do we know it's a 'he'" and another one said something to the effect that there's no way a girl could be that good, so they're definitely in for a surprise.

SpanProf, I found last night's episode extremely depressing. I will need to wait for JoelD's recap to clarify some things for me.

I thought Nora and Ricardo were at their worst, lying that Nora didn't tell Patricia what was going on. You could see the hurt and grief on Val's face, thinking she had accused an innocent Nora.

Unless I misinterpreted this, I was aghast that Horacio seemed to be on Nora's side, hugging her protectively!!!

Will have more after the recap. Ack.

Meneske - She deserves everything she's gong thru. Didn't want that spawn to be Sancar's and now it's a mute point...she lost the baby. And she deserves to if she's planning to hand an innocent child over to a man she doesn't know anything about except that he shot her husband by mistake and is obsessed over another one.

Gediz - Trying to feel sorry for him but if he starts sabotaging Nare or Sancar it will be hard to do. Couldn't blame him for taking a chance letting Nare know how he feels. After all, Sancar is married with a kid on the way. But Nare let him down and let him know she doesn't feel anything but platonic love for him. She never wanted to come between anyone ...family or friend.

Loki - what a fool. He really thought he was going to run away with Menie. I wonder what he does to her..or her brother once he's released.

Mother Hens - they were so annoying...crying and waling like it was the end of the world because their children can't control themselves. They don't interest me at all.

Sancar - understand that he is the galan in this show but can spit every time he makes a move or comment to control Nare or expect her not to have a life with anyone else but him. What arrogance.

Ceylan - OK..this is a wild guess...but she is pregnant.....Menie is not. Any chance they do the old....I'll buy your baby thing?? Kman probably doesn't want a kid with Ceylan anyway...and I'm sure Menie will not let anyone know she lost the baby because as soon as she does that...she gets the boot. She got to get pregnant again real fast and we know Sancar won't ever donate sperm to her again.

Favorite scene: Eva telling Sergio what he had to do to keep his family but making it clear she was only doing it for her daughter because she couldn’t stand him.

The whole Lucas situation with his mother in a wheel chair telling him he needs to let go of the past should be fascinating. I hope they tell us that whole subplot soon.


Moisés needs to go especially after having too much of what seemed to be an unhealthy interest in Yuri’s hair and appearance. He seems like a control freak.

Diana, ITA that the kids need ot know what is going on ASAP.. Sergio wanted all of the fun at $0 cost. Life doesn't work that way. The piper is here to be paid. What an idiot!

TU AMOR ep 34

Rosamaria explains to Analisse that her baby is out of danger. The operation was a success and she won't be blind. Analisse wants Fatima back. Rosamaria thinks she needs to ask her family for help. Analisse is adamant that she can't ask them. She's dead to her father.

Helena is finding it hard to believe all the bad things that Leonardo has told her about Hector. He says with all due respect, he knows him better because he grew up with him. Well, the only thing Helena wants is to help Mina. Leonardo tells her he's tried to get her away from Hector's bad influence. He says he's even asked him to leave Mina with him. He could give her a better future. Helena says we don't know that, and he's her father. Leonardo says no, he's selfish. Leo says he'll help her. When he leaves, Majo tells Helena that she needs to Call Hector and let him explain things. He's innocent until she finds out otherwise. This includes all the stuff that Leonardo just said. The phone rings and it's Patricia. She just called to tell Helena that she'll be contacting her boyfriend for a service. And don't worry. He'll be safe with me. After the call ends Pat thinks Helena won't get any sleep. The more tired and tense she is, the worse her show will go. Pat may be right. Helena is pretty upset. Majo tries to get her to calm down with some herbal tea. It doesn't work because she dreams about Patricia and Hector being happy together. She wakes up with a shout and tells Majo that she saw a spider. And by spider, you mean Patricia?, thinks Majo.

Nora and Ricardo are at a cafe. She wants to know what he told Valentina. She says her face still hurts from the two slaps she received. She asks if Patricia ever told him how she found out about the plan. He says she told him that her father told her. She laughs in relief at that, and tells him he has to help her convince her stupid sister that she's innocent. What does he gain from that, he asks her. She says that he must really have brain damage from the accident. He's got the best weapon possible for separating her from Claudio. He agrees, because he's found Fatimas mother. If Val and Claudio can't adopt, they have no reason to marry. Sounds good to Nora but she thinks her plan will give the relationship the coup de gras. Smooch.

Consuelo is in her room finishing a prayer when Camila knocks and asks to come in. She wants to talk. She can't stop thinking about Ricardo. She thinks she's in love with him. Connie responds, You're in love with the man that loves Valentina? She doesn't know how it happened but it did. Camila's upset because he just called to cancel their breakfast date (after cancelling dinner last night) Connie asks if what she's feeling could be gratefulness? Yes, gratefulness and love. But she doesn't think she has a chance with him. She thinks her face is disgusting. Consuelo tries to sooth her and holds her. They talk later as Cami gets ready to go out with Ricardo. They've both paid a price as survivors of the crash. His scar is on the inside. Connie worries about Camila and asks her to be careful. Ricardo shows up and makes a good impression. He promises Consuelo that he'll take good care of her daughter. She gives her a blessing even though they're only going to breakfast.
 

TU AMOR ep 34 part 2

Lucha is really coming through for Patricia. She got the briefcase from the car an sneaked it in to Patricia in a black garbage bag. It's not locked and Pat confirms the file she needs is inside. She takes what she needs and tells Lucha to put the rest back like she found it. Mechita the maid shows up at that moment to confront Lucha for her theft. Patricia steps in and tells Lucha to take it to her bedroom. Mechita's eyes get big at that and she swallows. Pat just heard how she treated Lucha and if she doesn't leave her in peace, Pat will tell Guillermo and Mechita will be fired. When Lucha bounces back in Pat tells her that if Mechita bothers her again to let her know.

Valentina is worried about Nora because she's late getting home. She shouldn't have bothered because Ricardo and Nora show up to set things straight. Horacio appears too. He doesn't want a bunch of drama in his house. Nora hugs him and swears she didn't say anything but Valentina always thinks the worst of her. She reminds Valentina that she supported her plan to escape and was willing to stay and take care of their father so she could fulfill her dreams with the love of her life. Val tells her to quit pretending. She knows she did it. Nora tells her to shut up because it's her turn to speak. She asks Ricardo to tell her in front of her family if she betrayed her sister. Did Patricia tell him that Nora told either her or his father? No, neither one. Val apologizes and Nora slaps her and says now we're even. Ricardo says again that he never said it was Nora. His father must have found out some other way. Claudio follows him out and asks him to stay away from Nora and Valentina. Ricardo tells him that the love that Val has felt for him since they were children is never going to die.

Val is really beating herself up over doubting her sister. Claudio and Horacio advise her to leave Nora alone until she cools off. They can straighten things out in the morning. Meanwhile Nora is not calming down. She's working herself up thinking about how she can make Valentina pay for what she did. She grabs some cloth, cuts it with scissors, and rips it in two. When Val comes in and sees that Nora has completely trashed the room she doesn't get angry. Instead she grovels for forgiveness. She says she knows that Nora didn't say anything. She was wrong. She begs her not to go. The city is dangerous. Nora is going and she wants Val to stay away from her. She shouldn't speak even one word to her at Helena's. She says they're not sisters. On the way out she stirs the pot by telling Claudio she doesn't know if Ricardo coming back has caused her sister to doubt her love for him. Val still begs her to stay even after hearing this. Nora repeatedly claims that none of this is her fault, hops in a cab, and goes.

Claudio tells his father that Valentina's reaction proves that she hasn't forgotten Ricardo. Horacio says, no, time and again she's proven that she's in love with Claudio. Why does she act like that then? Because the poor girl has survived a tragedy, her environment has changed, and she's trying to pull her life back together. For God's sake, she planned a life for herself and it all changed. So, what you're telling me, Claudio says, is that if it weren't for the accident, she'd be in Milan right now with Ricardo? Perhaps. And perhaps that would have been a mistake. Son, love isn't ever easy but you and Valentina are destined for each other.


 

TU AMOR ep 34 part 3

Patricia thinks she has just what she needs. She pulls out a power of attorney letter with Enrique's name in bold at the top. She puts it in Guillermos's binder and leaves it where he can find it. Adelaida tells Guillermo about running into Claudio, Helena's lawyer, when she picked up her two recent bonsai trees. He's so nice. If she was younger she'd marry him. Guillermo says that she has aroused his curiosity. Why not invite him to dinner some night and have him bring his novia.

Yolanda is trying to reach Patricia by phone but she's not answering. Everyone is waiting for rehearsal to start. She leaves a message that she can't wait any longer and will be putting Beba in charge. She tells her to call when she gets this message. Beba walks in and says they're losing money and Pat won't answer her calls. Yolanda puts her in charge of the rehearsal. Can she handle it or not? Oh course, Beba says flipping her hair, and I'm going to demonstrate it to you.

Enrique drops by to say hi to Patricia. He saw her car in the parking lot. Each wonders why the other is at the office so early. As he steps closer to Pat to put the moves on her, he's interrupted by Hector bringing in breakfast. Enrique asks Pat what that guy is doing here at the business. She says that he's her assistant. When Enrique leaves, Hector asks if he was her boyfriend. She says she can't deny that he has always been in love with her but she was married to his best friend. But you're a widow now, Hector says. Yes, but unfortunately for Enrique she now has other interests.

Guillermo finds his binder waiting for him on his desk. Enrique asks him if he's signed the papers that he left him yesterday. He says he's signing them now. He didn't realize that he left his binder there. He asks Enrique if he was aware that Patricia knew Claudio Barrios as he starts to sign some of the papers. He's invited him and his novia over to dinner sometime and is letting Enrique know that he's invited too. Evidently Patricia and Ricardo will be there also. Speaking of Ricardo, there is something that Enrique has been wanting to tell Guillermo for several days. At this point Guillermo finds the power of attorney with Enrique's name on it. He explodes. It designates absolute control of all his money and businesses. He and Enrique both jump up shocked. Guillermo calls him a traitor. Enrique says he doesn't know what he's talking about. Pat comes in and says they can hear all the yelling from outside. She sends Enrique away in order to calm down Guillermo. She sits him down and tells him to breath deeply. He goes off on her about Enrique and she pretends to stick up for him. It really bugs Guillermo that a guy he trusted his whole life would think he's stupid enough to sign papers without looking at them. Pat wonders if he's been cheating them all along all these years. The proof is right there, Guillermo yells.

Camila isn't very hungry at the cafe where Ricardo takes her. The food is great but seeing him there brings back memories of the crash. He knows what she's saying. The same thing happens to him. Sometimes at night he wakes up distressed. He hears the noise of the engine and of the explosions. The same thing happens to Cami. She can still feel the heat of the fire on her face. He's the only one she's been able to talk to about this. Ironically, that trip was the first time she had ever been in a plane. She thinks he'll be repulsed by her face as she removes her skin covering. Instead, he says he'd rather have her scar than his headaches and memory losses. She thanks him for saving her life. He replies that, believe it or not, when she asked him to free her from the wreck, she saved his.

JoelD, you did an excellent job with this very down episode.

“And by spider, you mean Patricia?, thinks Majo”. Love Majo (who had another fashion hit with that dress in an extraordinarily beautiful shade of emerald).

“Connie responds, You're in love with the man that loves Valentina?” Bless Coni for keeping it real. The very last thing Camila needs is any encouragement in her Ricardo crush. Given the circumstances, it’s understandable as she credits him with saving her life. “His scar is on the inside” shows she is insightful and sensitive. Still, he does seem to be the only good version of himself when he is with her. Which makes us cringe even more.

The villains won the night. Easily. Leo threatening to take Mina from Hector? I realize Helena has worked with Leo for years, but doesn’t she see any shade of who he really is?? She certainly didn’t defend the man she loves very vigorously. Hardly at all.

“When Val comes in and sees that Nora has completely trashed the room she doesn't get angry. Instead she grovels for forgiveness”. So, so frustrating! Nora makes Val feel devastated and has now planted seeds of doubt in Claudio’s mind about Ricardo.

“Yes, but unfortunately for Enrique she now has other interests”. I’m starting to doubt Hector’s intelligence. Is he not seeing any of Patricia’s overt flirtations or recognizing what she is up to? And how skillfully she has now relieved Enrique of his power and position.

Again, you consistently clarify my questions and explain everything that transpires so well! Thank you.

Thanks, JoelD, for another outstanding recap. That being said, I hit the wall on this one last night. Diana, “depressing” hit it on the head. I kept on looking at the clock to see when I was going to be released from this vale of tears of a novela. For me, the only two characters I could stand were now Horacio and Consuelo. Valentina is just too much of a goody two shoes and Claudio has no substance. Guess that means I am out of here so as not to ruin it for the rest of you. Enjoy! : ) See you on another patio some time!

speaking of Patricia, now she's calling up Helena just to twist the knife and completely ignoring Yolanda who went out on a limb to hire her. She's becoming a really impressive villain. Hector is almost too easy for her to use. I'd like to think of him as just a simple man but maybe he's just a simpleton. He needs to stick closer to Luna. She'd always looks out for him. Can't wait for fashion week.
 

TU AMOR. Superb recap, JoelD. You always clarify things for me. Ok. so Ricardo didn't actually lie about who told his father/Patricia about his relationship with Val. He was lied to by Patricia. And it was incredibly creepy and depressing that Patricia implies that the very loyal Enrique has been stealing from Guillermo for years. How many month before she gets her come-uppance? Sigh.
We will miss you, Jarifa, and your pithy observations.

A miscarriage is devastating and Meanie looked devastated , but was that losing her baby or about losing her place in the mansion and the wealthy life and prestige that came with it .

Nett, I , too, think that Meanie will somehow get Ceylan's baby. How far along was Meanie supposed to be ? She wasn't showing at all, so I don't think she was too far along. Will she has pillows to pretend that she is still pregnant .

I hope that the plan to kidnap Melek fails because that little girl has been through enough .

I was ticked off at myself this morning because I missed last night's episode. Dondi, thanks to you I can "see" it. May faves:

She [Elvan] adds, even if she brought you a miracle, it wouldn’t be enough for you. You would look to find another problem with her.

You want me to take you to the man who told me he’s in love with you, Sancar asks? Look at me, do I look stupid?! [Forrest Gump said, stupid is as stupid does.] lol!

I felt sorry for Meneske on her wedding day when Nare showed up. But that was for a hot minute, before I saw how despicable she was to Melek. Losing the baby is sad and having to pretend she's still pregnant makes it even worse, but she's a horrible person. She needs to get down on her knees and beg for forgiveness for her dirty ways, but nope she'll become a meaner (probably) psycho meanie instead.

Gediz rolled the dice and lost. He needs to lick his wounds and help Sancar protect Nare from Akin. As all the patio has pointed out, Nare seems to have forgotten that Akin is still out there, able to get to her in Switzerland.

I haven't quite given up on Yahya becoming worthy of Elvan, so I'm getting a kick out of his ruse with big brother. I'll say one thing. Yahya can take a beating.

TU AMOR ep 35

Enrique is telling Patricia his side of the story. He swears that he doesn't know where the power of attorney letter came from. Patricia says she believes him. She asks him who else has access to the binder. Nobody. Only Guillermo and him. Pat says that clearly it wasn't Guillermo. Enrique wants to know who is doing this to him and why. He wants to know what is going on. She says there isn't one executive that doesn't want his position. He agrees and there is a knock on the door. An assistant says that Don Guillermo wants to see them in his office.

Claudio is trying to calm Valentina down. She's still very worried about Nora and regretting the pain she caused her. Claudio points out that Nora is not a little girl and isn't going to be walking the streets with her suitcase. She must have some kind of a plan. Since she got in a cab, she must be going somewhere. He is sorry, but he has to remind Val that it's fashion week and they have a lot of work to get ready. Valentina pulls herself together and leaves to change so they can go. Horacio comes in and asks Claudio how things went. He tells his father that Nora left the house and they don't know where she went.

In his office, Guillermo asks Enrique if he thinks he's stupid or a sick old man from whom he can take everything. He says that nobody else had access to the binder. He's the only one that touched it. Enrique should stop blamining others to save his skin. Infeliz, Ladrón, Miserable! Stop, Enrique says, you don't need to insult me! At that, Guillermo jumps up, pulls a pistol from a drawer, cocks it, and points it at Enriques face. Patricia is barely out of the line of fire. She begs him to put down the weapon and not to do something crazy. Guillermo says no, not until Enrique says why he did this to him. Enrique asks if he really believes he would steal from Guillermo after all that he has done for him. Guillermo was the closest thing to a father that he ever had. Shut up, Guillermo replies, Patricia, get out of the way, you have nothing to do with this! (She may actually be in the line of fire. Enrique is definately behind her.) She begs Guillermo, in the name of his son, Alfonso, to put down the gun and not do something he'll regret. She won't let him hurt Enrique and end up in jail. This seems to sink in and she steps forward to take the pistol as he slowly lowers it to his desk.

Nora and Leonardo are in his office having a long kiss. He doesn't want anyone to know that she's staying at his apartment. Nora promises that no one will know. Helena has told her that she won't be walking in the fashion parade. Leonardo says that she will because he wants it, he can, and he feels like it. She should keep a low profile and he'll make sure she parades at just the right time. He reminds her that she's his eyes and ears out there in the showroom and not to forget where to put her loyalty. He says that would be dangerous and sends her on her way.
 

TU AMOR ep 35 part 2

Claudio and Val are talking at work. He's wondering why she reacted the way she did with Nora. If nobody had said anything she and Ricardo would now be living happily who knows where. Oh, so that's what you think of me, Val replies. You think I believe that? Claudio says, I don't know, you're the one that said they ruined your life. She looks back at him in disappointment, shakes her head, sighs and leaves.

Gillermo tells Enrique to take his things and get out of his office as soon as possible. When he returns he doesn't want to see him because he doesn't know if the memory of his son will save him again. He tells him he's fired and leaves. Enrique pours out his frustration to Patricia. He asks if she realizes that Guillermo has accused him, judged him, and condemned him without giving him a chance to defend himself. She advises him to calm down, leave, and straighten things out tomorrow. She assures him that Guillermo will think things over. He doesn't deserve this. She'll see what she can do. Guillermo can't be so unjust. So cruel. Like a cat with a mouse she asks Enrique to swear that he didn't write the power of attorney. She tells him not to get angry, she only has to be sure it wasn't him. He says well, if you really need to hear it, the answer is no and he leaves. She smiles and says to herself that she can't believe evrything went better than she thought. She has both of them in her hands. They took everything from her. Now comes the revenge.

Claudio is busy at his desk when Leonardo knocks and asks to come in. Claudio says he doesn't have time for him. He answers that yes, he does, because it's about his cousin. This gets his attention. Leo sits and continues eating cookies as he explains that Nora came to his apartment and asked for asylum. What could he do? He said yes because she was Claudio's cousin. She made him swear not to tell anybody because she doesn't want to see Valentina. Claudio is really grateful to Leo. He offers to cover all expenses until she comes back. Leo declines but says he does have one condition. He doesn't want Claudio's novia in his apartment. He doesn't want it to become a battlefield. Nora said that if he told anyone, she would go somewhere that no one would find her. He says he laid down very clear rules. If she breaks the rules she'll have to leave. Claudio agrees with this and Leo leaves. Claudio wonders if Nora hasn't caused him to sell his soul to the devil.

Rehearsal has started at Helena's. Helena tells the models that she needs their complete attention. They're all very focused on her except for Nora who rolls her eyes. Uriel will be the artistic director and they should do what he tells them. Fernanda will wear the main dress. She tells Helena that she won't disappoint her. Uriel has traced out the movements and they just need to practice several times and adjust the details. He shows Helena the accessories he needs to tie everything together. Helena tells Nora to go get them from Valentina and bring them to Uriel. Nora says that models don't do that. Wrong answer. Helena says if she doen't want to do it, there's the door.

 

TU AMOR ep 35 Part 3

Valentina receives a call from Fatima's doctor. Her recovery has been remarkable. Val will talk to the mother superior. She asks the doctor how she was able to recover so fast. He tells her that's the way babies are. One moment they're fighting death and the next moment they're smiling and eating. Val remembers her mother saying the same thing when, as a child, she asked her mother if it was true that her little sister wasn't going to die. She also remembers promising litlle Nora that she would take care of her. Nora walks in at this point and Val gives her a heartfelt hug. Nora gives her a vicious shove, sending her across the room. Valentina continues to beg for forgiveness. Nora finally reluctantly says fine, she'll forgive her. Val asks her where she's staying. Nora says don't worry, she'll be OK, and besides, they'll see each other every day at work.

Helena, Majo, and Camila go to Helena's where they can talk. Camila has just had breakfast with Ricardo and confimed what she has been thinking. That she would postpone her surgery until after the fashion show. Helena says she appreciates that but she can't accept. Camila will not be walking in the fashion show. Her operation is a priority. She can be in next season's show. Cami says that she'll always have a scar, with or without the operation. Helena agrees but says it will be much smaller. Ok, Camila will talk to the doctor. This will make her mother happy.

Nora brings some brooches to Fernanda, the principal model who asks her to fetch some bottles of water for the other models. There is no way Nora is going to do that. Fernanda says she's busy and Nora isn't doing anything. Uriel and Leonardo arrive and want to know what's going on. Fernanda says that Nora hasn't stopped bothering her since she arrived. Uriel says they need to start practice and he and Fernanda go up to the catwalk. Leonardo steps up to Nora and says, "That blondie is really fat, no?" Nora says she can't stand her. Leo says don't worry, leave it in my hands.

Yolanda and Beba are at her studio. Beba has really surprised her. She likes her proposal. Beba asks Yolanda if she's heard anything from Patricia. No, she doesn't answer her phone. If she doesn't show up soon, Yolanda will have to speak to Guillermo or Adelaida. When Ricardo shows up they ask him about his sister. He thought that they would meet in Yolanda's office. He says that he'll try calling her. When Pat shows up, she and Yolanda talk. Yolanda says that nothing would please her more than to see Guillermo suffering behind bars. Can you imagine Helena crying like an ugly doll for not having cleared up her problems with him? Pat says she's thought about it but won't permit it to happen. Why not?, asks Yolanda, don't tell me you're still in love with Enrique. Weren't you going to take revenge on those two? Who do you think provoked everything, says Pat? I know what I'm doing and why and when the moment arrives I'll tell you everything.
 

TU AMOR ep 35 part 4

Claudio comes to Valentina's workroom. He's heard about Fatima's recovery from the mother superior. He doesn't want Ricardo to cause trouble between the two of them. Neither does Val, especially with everything going on between her and Nora. She feels that she has failed her father and mother. Claudio tells her that Nora is going to be OK. He says that she's staying in Leonardo's apartment. That she'll be safe there. Leonardo told him so they wouldn't worry about her. Nora doesn't know that though. She didn't want Leo to tell anybody. Majo interrupts them to let Valentina know that Helena needs her. She wants her to work as her seamstress. This is her trial by fire. Majo and Claudio get excited because this is a great opportunity for her.

Rosamaria is in Analiz's room on the phone with her father. She tells him that Analiz needs him and his wife now more than ever. The dad says that he was clear that if she left with that man she was dead to him. Rosamaria explains that the guy not only forced her to leave her baby at the orphanage but left her alone to live on the street. The dad says well that's the choice she made. She can solve her problem herself. She stained the family name and belongs on the street. Rosamaria says she doesn't know who is more miserable, the man who abandoned her or her father who condemned her to a life of horror and suffering. Analiz's mom wants to know who her husband is talking to. She has to threaten him with a candlestick to get the phone from him. She asks if her daughter is OK. Is she alive? The doctora hands the phone to Analiz. Her mother tells her not to worry. She'll come for her and the baby. She tells her to put the doctor back on the phone. She tells Rosamaria that she's coming and only asks one thing from her. Please don't leave my daughter alone. RM agrees but asks if she's OK. She says she will be, and will defend her daughter and the baby, even though she failed to do it before. Analiz thanks the doctor, hugs her, and goes to change. Rosamaria thinks Ricardo isn't going to like this at all but she's sorry.

Helena isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. There is a montage of her and Valentina working hard, measuring, cutting, and sewing material to get it ready. Helena can't stop thinking about Patricia and Hector being together. Val sees that something is really bothering Helena. She asks her if she's OK. If she wants her to, Val can finish the sewing. She tells Helena to go get some rest and gives her a hug as she leaves.

Valentina and Claudio skip lunch in order to go to the hospital to see Fatima. They can tell that something has happened by the look on mother superior's face. A young woman is there that tells them she is Fatima's mother. Val remembers seeing her run from the orphanage the day that Fatima arrived. Sister says there's no need for a DNA test because all the papers are in order. Val has to be sure, and asks Analiz what the child had hidden in her clothes when she arrived. It was a letter that Analiz wrote that said her name. They wait while Analiz goes in to see her baby. Sister explains Analiz's situation to them and says that her mother will be coming to help her. Claudio asks the sister if she remembers the name of the doctor that called. No, she was so shocked she didn't ask. Claudio is worried that since the baby was abandoned once it might happen again and asks Valentina if she wants to fight a legal battle for Fatima. No, it's her mom. She's only a girl and was forced to abandon her. When Analiz returns, she thanks them for helping her daughter and Val gives her a hug.
 

TU AMOR ep 35 adendum

When Guillermo got back home to his office he looked like he was having an attack of some kind. Adelaida started asking him about what happened at work while he looked through his desk for his pills. He told her that he fired Enrique for trying to rob him and would have killed him if it hadn't been for Patricia. She acted more like his daughter than Helena. Adelaida thinks there must be some mistake and cluelessly continues asking him questions while his condition deteriorates. He stumbles around the office and finally goes down.


 

TU AMOR. Another excellent recap, JoelD! They especially help the days I have to watch the novela online. Nora is worse than an Disney villain(ess) but has the same type of evil unsubtle facial expressions. Patricia is even more evil but her expressions are more subtle. I loved "like a cat with a mouse" about Patricia and Enrique. Exactly! Helena does the right thing about Camila's operation. And I loved the way Annalisse's mother stood up to her jerk of a husband! Of course like most bullies he turned out to be a coward. Leo and Nora. Yuck! Val's apologies to Nora are getting downright cringeworthy. Is Horacio about to be framed for something? And I wonder if Guillermo is dead--but it seems too early in the novela for that.

CAN someone explain to me what happened when the Doc did the ultra sound on Meanie. I guess i missed something. Didnt Sancar and the Doc see there was no sign of a baby?? WHAT happened ? Obviously i missed something because everyone keeps talking about Meanie “acquiring” another baby and pretending to be still pregnant!

I also am not totally sure about the YAYA ruse? There’s so much back and forth, and since i dont trust or like him, i’m thinking he still is actually screwing his brother and playing both sides? Please clarify.

I hope that Kavruk can somehow cancel his engagement soon! Wouldn’t it be LOVELY to see Zehra step in ?

This is far too depressing and negative. They really need to be a little more considerate of us viewers—- balancing out the good and evil percentages better. The Valentina goody two- shoes has been carried way tooooooo far. And the Hector character is also too extreme..but perhaps, he is just a simpleton and we will have to live with that for awhile, but something has to give or I’m going to climb into that screen and wring some necks myself.

I don't think Horacio is being framed but who knows? The guy asking him for directions was told by Ricardo earlier to break into the account under Valentina's name. He was unable to because the codes had changed. He was being sent to the barrio to find someone named Cybernético, but was having trouble with the directions so he asked for help at Horacio's booth. He was going to leave his wallet with Horacio so they would know who he was if he didn't come back because it's a dangerous location. Consuela kind of prodded Horacio to go with the guy so he'd be OK. I think Cybernético might be a hacker of some kind that Ricardo needs to get back his money.
 

Embajador S2 #11 part 1

A surprised Gediz asks Nare, why are you here? Because we have to talk, she replies. Okay, I’m listening. You know I love you, Nare tells him. Yes, like a friend, he says with disappointment. She nods and says, best friend. But Gediz, I'm very upset with you. I swear, I want to strangle you right now, but I still love you very much. And I'm mad at him (Sancar) too. Why did you have to tell me that you love me like that, she asks?

Is that all, Gediz asks? Nare continues, I swear you two are equal. I know that you still love each other a lot. It’s only that you are very proud and prefer to be angry with each other. Gediz jokes, the diplomatic representative was sent to resolve it. He stands up, now bring Sancar, and I'll hug him. He spreads his arms out, where is he? Sancar? Sancar? Nare tells him to stop being ridiculous and sit.

She says, he told me the how you became true friends. Gediz says that’s nice, but friends have a happy ending. What does our story tell you? That when I left, you were the one who saved him, she replies. I want to know how he helped you, Gediz. She adds, he told me how many times you helped him, but I'm sure he helped you, too, when you needed it. Tell me, what did he do for you, Gediz?

We get the flashback to the day when Gediz found out his family secret and argued with his father, ending with the bofetada that changed everyone’s lives.

Gediz recounts, at first I used Sancar to take out my anger towards my father. He was the best one I could use for that. I noticed that everyone called me "the mayor's son", and only he called me Gediz. He smiles. The son of a peasant it reminded me who I was. I never imagined that I would betray him like that, he says wistfully.

Nare tells him there is nothing that has no solution if you are willing to try to amend it. She says, I know you're hurt, too, but you're going to fix it and he will forgive you. Gediz feels he doesn’t deserve Sancar’s forgiveness and adds that Sancar does not deserve Nare either and she knows that.

Nare gets frustrated. Gediz continues, he does not deserve you, does not deserve your forgiveness and should not be with you. Nare reminds Gediz that she has never said she would forgive him (Sancar). Gediz calls her out—you always say that, but the truth is you end up doing it. There is no forgiveness, but there is compassion, and pity, and love, isn't there? How can you love a man who threw you out on the street, he asks in exasperation, you love a man who left you and married another woman?

Nare counters, you tell me how you can love a woman who loves another man? I don't understand how you fell in love with your best friend's woman. Gediz doesn’t have an answer to that and Nare knows it. Are you judging me by the love decisions I make, she asks?

She lets Gediz have it. I can’t believe this, she asserts, you are judging me as if your decision will change what I feel. That will not happen. It's true that I love him! [Can you hear Gediz’ heart breaking?] Nare has worked up a head of steam and does not let up on him. You have no right to judge me because I love him too much. Nobody has the right! You don't have the right to criticize my decisions, even if it means he [who shall not be named] has my forgiveness, because what I feel is only mine and it is my heart! Understand that for once! She runs out of steam.

Embajador S2 #11 part 2

Gediz says, but you don't understand. When you don't reciprocate my love, it hurts me a lot. When I see someone else hurt you, I go crazy. Nare claims he (Sancar) doesn't hurt her so much. Gediz calls her out again, and she has to admit it’s not true. Gediz tells her that he loved his friend, but the line between love and hate has been crossed. The more he hurts you, the more I hate it, Gediz says, and I can't forgive, even if you forgive him or he forgives me.

Nare asks, even after I leave? This does not end no matter who leaves, Gediz tells her, not me or your novio. Nare asks, what does that mean? Gediz thinks she understands. He says the game has already started and it does not end until death [this doesn’t sound good]. Nare asks, so you are playing? She reminds him, I am very good at playing and I can beat you without a problem. She leaves Gediz.

As she walks back through the house, she walks past Muge and Refika, who are surprised to see her. Refika gives her a how dare you come here, but Nare asks them without stopping, would you like to give a lesson to this stupid pair? Of course. Then come to the mansion this afternoon, Nare says and she’s out the front door.

Sancar has been sitting on the roof of his truck impatiently waiting. As soon as Nare comes out he jumps down and grabs her and pulls her to get in the truck. She breaks free, are you're crazy, what are you doing? Sancar says he is going crazy. Let's go, get in the car. Nare asks, what happened to you? Sancar tells her, please be quiet, just shut up for a second. Nare shoots back, of course, I will speak only when you tell me.

Sancar doesn’t calm down. He’s still complaining as they drive. I can't believe you forced me to do this, he rants, how stupid that I brought you to that door. I even waited for you! I told you only 10 minutes. Nare asks him to pull over and stop the truck. He complies. She gets out and he follows.

Nare asks, are you that upset because you had to take me to Gediz? Sancar answers, I am upset because he is in love with you! Nare counters, and your wife is in love with you! [not really true] When you locked me in that house I told you, remember? [I’m going to give you the original Turkish translation because it’s much better] I told you that if I do not burn the whole world, I would burn myself.

So burn, he yells, burn! Burn the whole world. Say, “you are mine, Sancar Efe, and I will not allow you to be a husband to anyone other than me!” Come ask me for an explanation, he shouts, take my hand! But you can’t do that, he asks, can you? You can be without me, you do not care. In that case, ambassador's daughter, never again compare Menekse to Gediz. He continues, if you want to do something, do it, if you can’t, be quiet.

Nare says there is something. She shouts, I will not allow you and Gediz to separate because of me. I will get custody of my daughter and I will leave you! I'm going to leave this country which does not accept me in any way! I will never see you or your wife again and I don’t care if you burn everything or burn yourself!

They are millimeters away from each other. Once it burns, let it burn completely, Sancar says softly, if you say once again that you are leaving, I promise I will shut you up with a kiss. He issues the challenge, come on, say it, “I’m leaving”… come on. She brushes past him and hurries back to the truck where she let’s out a big exhale. [Me too, Nare.]

Embajador S2 #11 part 3

A doctor and nurse arrive at the mansion to check Menekse. Gulsiye lets them in and knocks on Menekse’s door. Atike answers. Gulsiye tells her, Halise called the doctor because yesterday Menekse was feeling bad. Uh, oh. Atike scrambles for time, Menekse is in the bathroom now, give me five minutes. Panic sets in when Atike tells her daughter. An ultrasound. They will discover us! What are we going to do? Meanie needs to think fast.

Sancar and Nare arrive back at the mansion.

Halise greets the doctor and is told the are waiting because Meanie isn’t ready yet. Meanie comes out of the room and says, no one is going to examine me. What? Meanie explains, Sancar does not want to be my husband, you even collected all his things from the room even though I asked you not to. But he is still the father of my son. When my husband breaks up with his lover and takes responsibility, then I will get examined. Meanie dismisses the doctor.

Nare and Sancar enter the mansion and see the group gathered outside Meanie’s bedroom. What happened, Sancar asks? Doctor? Elvan answers, your “dear wife” said that she is not going to let them check her until you are there. The dad should be there to see the baby. Sancar turns to look at Nare who is very uncomfortable.

Nare has a flashback to the rehab center in Switzerland. She is sitting in her rocking chair and is very pregnant. Guven is with her. A nurse comes and tells her the doctor is here for an ultrasound. Nare tells her baby, the doctor is going to check you, everything will be fine.

Nare tells Sancar, she (Meanie) is right, being alone, without a husband, is very difficult. Sancar is reminded of his sin again.

Flashback to rehab again. Nare is getting the ultrasound and sees the baby. It’s bittersweet for her.

Nare tells Sancar, you have to go with her, now. She asks, where is Melek? Outside. Nare leaves the house. Sancar calls after her. She walks away.

Meanie is pacing and thinking. Atike says, what will you do when Sancar is here the next time they come? Meanie is at a loss. She says she will think about that later. There will be no later, because Sancar enters the room and asks the doctor to come in. They are followed in by Halise and Gulsiye. The doctor asks Meanie to get in the bed. She freezes in fear. Sancar tells Meanie, you said you wanted to see the baby with me. Now, quick, go. The doctor starts the exam and fiddles with the machine a bit. Look like nothing is showing up. Everyone waits.

They cut a scene here. The doctor says the machine is not working and he’ll be back. We find out shortly after that Necdet messed with the machine. That buys them more time to figure out what to do.

Gediz is looking at his laptop. What are you doing, Muge asks? Sancar’s lawyers sent me a list of how to divide the properties, he tells her. Muge asks if he agrees with it, or if he’s going to fight. Gediz doesn't care who gets what because in the end, he plans to get it all back. You going to distribute everything equally and then will you take it all away, she asks? What do you think Sancar will do, Gediz replies, we are enemies. Do you think your enemy promises something and you cross your fingers?

She asks if he is going to do what they did to Kahraman. All Gediz knows is that one of them is going to lose everything. And I’m not letting it be me, he says. Refika walks up and asks, what does that mean? Gediz explains to his mother, it means you will lose this house just as the mansion, or you'll get the mansion back.

Nare brings Elvan and Zehra into the kitchen. Elvan wants to know what’s going on. Who did she invite? Nare tells her she’s going to reunite the two families. I asked them to come to the mansion, she says. What can we prepare, she asks? She admits she can’t cook very well. Nare tells Elvan that Yahya will also be here. Elvan blows up, what? What is wrong with you? Why the hell are you inviting to the traitor who kidnapped you?

Yahya calls Kman. What a surprise, why are you calling me, Kman asks? Yahya says he’d rather kick him in the head, but he needs to talk to him. Kman says to come. Yahya says he won’t if his brother is there. Kman says he isn’t there now but he’s coming in an hour for a meeting. I'll be there in 20 minutes, Yahya says.

Yahya calls Sancar. I’m going to see Kahraman. I said I wanted to talk to him behind your back and the idiot believed it. We hope so, Sancar replies, and he cautions Yahya, Kahraman is very smart, be careful because he could be fooling you. Yahya asks if he has heard anything from Loki. Sancar says not yet, he hasn't seen anything. Kahraman is being very careful.

Sancar tells his brother he will arrive early and hopefully they will see each other. Yahya says, just remember you shouldn't hit so hard, the previous one still hasn’t healed. Sancar is smiling and says, I'm not going to hit you very hard this time. Yahya replies, I don't understand why you enjoy hitting me. Nos vemos.

Guven shows up on the marina terrace. He’s carrying a briefcase and presents it to Kman. Mucho dinero. Kman asks him if he took any of the money. Guven assures him every penny that Akin transferred is there.

Flashback to Kman calling Akin and asking him to transfer 2 million to Yahya. He asks that the other 10 million be transferred to Guven. Then Guven can bring it to me, Kman says.

Kman asks Guven again, did you take some money to gamble? Guven admits he wanted to but didn't. Are you happy? Kman reminds Guven that Akin did not give the money, he’s to say his friends in Japan sent it. Guven replies, just keep the promise you made me and give me the place I deserve, and I promise there will be no problem. Kman says it will be as agreed. Guven asks if he has to worry about Sancar and Gediz causing problems. Kman thinks not, they are out of control, and they are enemies now. It's time to divide and conquer, he tells Guven with a laugh.

Yahya shows up and is surprised to see Guven. Why is he here? Kman explains he brought money from his Japanese friends for his capital. He takes Yahya to the office to talk.
Yahya gets right to it. We both know that Akin sent me money, not because I wanted, but because you told him to send it to me, right? Kman asks, do you have proof? Yahya responds when it comes to you, it's so obvious that I don't need proof. You kidnapped Nare for Akin in exchange for money, and you transferred that 2 million to my account so I would take the blame. Akin gave the rest of the money to Nare's father and that is what he just brought you. Do you really think anyone will believe you about the Japanese friends?

Kman snarks, you are a genius, you solved the mystery. Yahya wonders how a father can negotiate with desgraciados who hurt his daughter. But it doesn’t really surprise me, Yahya says, Guven has disappointed Nare since we were kids.

Kman asks Yayha to get to the point. What do you want? Why did you come to see me? Are you here to confess your crimes? Or did you come to falsely accuse me? Kman asks if he’s wearing a mic and if he’s spying for Sancar.

Yahya tells Kman he’s keeping the money Akin sent. He’s not giving it back so don’t even ask. But, I might sell you some of my shares, Yahya tells him. Kman claims he had a deja’vu. I thought you'd be mad at your brother and sell me your shares. But are you really that upset with your brother, he asks? Are you that upset because it hit you?

Yahya replies, no, it's something else. He believed you, but he didn't believe me, Yahya says with great sadness, he trusted his enemy but not his family. That’s why I’m doing it. So, what do you say, Yahya asks, do you want the most shares? Tell me. Kman thinks it over.

Yahya is down in the lobby when Sancar arrives. They see each other. Yahya texts: "Guven is upstairs.” Sancar looks up and sees Guven. “They are going to tell you that he brought money to Kahraman from friends in Japan. Kahraman hasn't confessed anything yet, and he wants to buy my shares, but he doesn't have the money, I guess he will ask Akin.”

The show begins. Sancar shouts at Yahya as he exits the marina, damn it, didn't I tell you not to come here? He grabs Yahya and drags him over against a wall and continues to yell. He starts to punch Yahya in the stomach. Guven takes notice and runs to tell Kman.

Kman calls his “eyes and ears” [it says in Turkish on his phone]. Hello! How are my ears? Any news in the mansion yet? Have you heard anything after the fight? What? Nare forced Sancar to go to his wife's ultrasound? How noble she is, she's a very good woman. He says, enough of the women, tell me if Yahya is upset with his brother or if this is a trap. I need to know soon. His call is interrupted by Guven—Sancar is hitting Yahya. Kman rushes off.

They cut something again, a group of onlookers gather and start recording Sancar beating Yayha. From their angle, we can see that Sancar is hitting the wall and not his brother. Sancar chases them off and continues “beating” Yahya.

Kman pulls Sancar off of Yahya. Do you want to kill him outside the office!? Sancar screams he deserves it, leave me alone! Guven takes Yahya away. Sancar shouts at his brother, I'm not done with you, you idiot! Kman tries to calm Sancar down. He grabs Sancar’s hand, it’s bloody. Look what you did! Are you crazy? Do you want to kill him? Get inside!

Elvan is on the phone with Yahya, come to the mansion, please. Yahya asks, why would I go to a place where I was kicked out? Elvan says, I made food for you, my husband, and I'm telling you to come. I'm going to let you pass, I'll be waiting for you. She hangs up and takes it out on the keşkek. I wish he wouldn’t come!

In the lobby, Kman hands Sancar a cloth to clean his hand. Look at you, Kman says, you just hurt yourself. Is little Yahya’s abdomen so strong? Sancar says he missed a few hits and hit the wall instead. Kman asks what’s going on. Everything is in chaos. You and Gediz separated. Is your relationship really over? Cue the Harmandali as Gediz shows up.

Flashback to when the partners came to take the marina from Kahraman.

Kman says, at least you separated before taking my marina. Now I have to deal with your sad faces. Let me guess, you came to cry, Kman says. Are you going to tell me how he betrayed you and it hurt? Sancar replies don’t worry, we are used to betrayals, and they no longer hurt. He looks at Gediz. That's right, Gediz responds.

Gediz asks Kman about the money. They head upstairs and out on the terrace. Kman explains that Guven sought out his Japanese friends to lend him money and here, look. Gediz opens the briefcase. Gediz asks, what is Guven's profit going to be? He will be a board member and will represent his Japanese friends. Guven says, I am now a partner. My Japanese friends very generously gave me 10% of the shares they bought. Now we are equal.

Gediz immediately states, I'm not going to be your partner. And Sancar immediately stands up, holds out his hand to Guven and welcomes him. Both Gediz and Guven are shocked. Sancar says, this alliance is a new beginning and let's forget the past. They shake hands. Gediz asks, what's wrong with you? He's supposed to be your enemy. Sancar replies, friends separate, and some enemies reunite, that’s life.

Sancar says to Guven, we will talk about it, the case will be tomorrow, will there be a problem? Guven says, no problem, and by the way, how is Nare? I heard she's at the mansion. Sancar takes Guven aside and answers, yes, she’s very good. With his hand on Guven’s shoulder Sancar asks, don't you miss your daughter? Why don't you come for dinner? Or why don’t we have a drink later? Guven looks uneasy and nods. Sancar’s clearly planning something.

And we are out.

JoelD, you top yourself with each successive recap. You are so adept at providing all of the conversations and events clearly and consisely.

Ricardo inadvertently did Analiz a favor. His machinations to tear Val and Claudio apart may lead to the wedding postponement (or worse) but now a mother has reunited with her child. While this will be painful for Val, this was the right outcome.

It’s not as though Val and Claudio aren’t having a rough patch as it is “She looks back at him in disappointment, shakes her head, sighs and leaves”.

“Val gives her a heartfelt hug. Nora gives her a vicious shove, sending her across the room”. SpanProf, I’ve had it with Nora, vicious little thug that she is. It’s a shame Val’s eyes were open only momentarily but there will be more overt transgressions shortly.

Master and cringe worthy manipulation by Patricia “Like a cat with a mouse she asks Enrique to swear that he didn't write the power of attorney.” Hasn’t it occurred to Enrique that as he is innocent, Patricia is the only other possible suspect?

"That blondie is really fat, no?" No Leo, she isn’t. What universe are you residing in?
Guillermo isn’t dead (not that I care 😊) but I think it’s a tad early for a reconciliation with Helena.

It is nice to see Helena and Val’s blossoming friendship and Helena telling Camila she needs to take cae of herself first. A few straggling flowers in the muck.

Bring on the fashion show and please, add Majo to the lineup. AND have Helena wearing one of her creations following the models (as is custom).

Sorry, I haven’t had much time to comment. I’m just happy to have enough time to do the recap. A thank you to everyone who has read and commented. You’ve been very kind and patient with me. Please keep the comments coming. I enjoy reading them.

Nina, you mentioned Gediz being a godfather. That’s just the lousy translation. Nare referred to Gediz as Sancar’s “sağdıç”, a “best man” or “best friend”. I’ll try to clear these things up as we go along.

Yes, the baby is gone and a miscarriage is a devastating thing. But I don’t think Meanie cares as much about the baby as she does about being the lady of the mansion. Halise really picked a winner with this witch.

I just don’t get Nare. She’s so sure she can handle everything herself. All she does is make things worse for all the people she professes to love, especially her daughter. The men are just fools for her.

AMOT, there was an edit to the ultrasound scene. I mentioned it in today’s recap. The doctor said the machine wasn’t working and then we would have found out that Necdet fiddled with it. I think they should have left it in.

SI NOS DEJAN #6

Highlights not necessarily in order

Alicia loses all the way around as she refuses to tell the truth about why she wants Sergio out of the house and the kids (except for Gonzalo) and Eva automatically take Sergio’s side against her. (Talk about long suffering) It all must have been Alicia’s fault. The daughters beg her to think about them and not get a divorce. It looks like Alicia will not be derailed.

Gonzalo suspects that Sergio might be up to no good and warns his father about hurting his mother. He tells Sergio to make things right with his mother or he will make him pay for it. Sergio is not pleased with the tone or the threat.

Sergio has been up to no good for a looong time because Lucas is his illegitimate son who is blackmailing him to keep his mouth shut and not expose the Sergio Carranza for who he really is.

Facundo (Martín’s) father is an alcoholic who is saved from the bottle by Martín coming to see him at the bar and assuring him that the murderer of his son will pay.

Julieta is not giving up and is keeping Sergio and the press on tenterhooks with the news of who her lover is! She reminds Sergio that they do have a tv show they do together. She asks if he is planning on removing her? He says it is always an option. She tells him if he dies that she will bring him down. That being said she wants to make peace. It sounds like a hard negotiation is coming.

Gonzalo is at the cooking school he will be attending and meets a student named Lorena. Gonzalo is interested in being a pastry chef and Lorena.

Martín asks Mujica to keep his father away from Cholo. Mujica thinks Yuri is a good choice (wink wink) to represent Cholo because she is new at her job.

Yuri has a flirty meeting with Cholo and tells him she is so impressed by his house, alebrijes and bonsais. She says she is going to take care of his plants as much as she can.

Yuri seems more interested in her work than her wedding to Moisés.

Martín needs Alicia’s help in getting his car out of the repair shop. When she arrives, she overhears him telling someone how special she is. She asks for an explanation with a smile!

Sergio tells Eva he has made decision about his situation.

"(Talk about long suffering)" said it all. Having her daughters rallying around Sergio must have hurt Alicia's heart. Gonzo is quickly becoming the favorite child (in addition to favorite and only) child. Eva just turns my stomach...

There is no easy way to explain a parents infidelity but Sergio should have manned up and told the truth. Three years does not a casual affair make. At least to the spouse.

"She says she is going to take care of his plants as much as she can". Oh, we've no doubt Yuri! That and their owner I presume.

Lucas creeps me out. Almost as much as his father. Sheer loathing between the two.

Facundo is teetering on the edge. I feel for him and hope they can convince him Cholo isn't their man.

It is great that you can let us know what was really said in the original Turkish It is crazy, but i look forward to the show every day even though what these characters do and say makes no sense to me. I guess i am too pragmatic and realistic . These folks are overdramtic about everything . However, the chemistry between Nare and San is off the charts . I wouldnt want someone that intense and explosive as San who seems to want to hit everyone , but San and Nare set off fireworks. Add lovesick Gediz , and you have a love triangle that could start fires . I prefer the strong, silent, gentle type, but San is crazy in love and like a stick of dynamite. Boom !!!

I was very confused about tbe ultrasound. I couldnt believe that San suddenly appeared and made Meanie have the ultrasound , and the look on his face as he gazed at the screen made me think that the jig was up for Meanie.Thanks for letting us know that Necdet messed with the machine . He and sis will do anything to keep living in luxury. He loves watching Guliyse work around the mansion and loves the delicious food. What a mooch. Lazy lug.

Nina , girl i love to read your comments . You give me a smile every day . We are having another wild ride together, but lets hope this show doesnt end so sadly like Amor Eterno did . If it does, i may never watch another Turkish novela.

Stood out side the room with every one else. When they start the run to Where the action is they remind me of the Rowan and Martin From the seventys variety show. They are might do that tonight when all those people show up. What a hot mess that's gonna be.

Nina...ha .. the title could have been " Hot Mess" or maybe "Cars" because we see a lot of folks zooming around in cars and trucks.

The women of the mansion remind me of guiney hens or lemmings that run around in tight little gangs.
 

I just finished everyone's comments--they are so appreciated. This show is over-the-top, but of course I go back to it! Really, I find Sancar scarry and would not want a relationship like that and I'm sure there is a diagnosis for Nare. Finally, I too have liked Gedez, but he has certainly begun to show his dark side! OK--as of now I'm favoring Elvan and like the rest of you I worry about their daughter.Thanks for the link to the song lyrics--am going there now.
