ECDLP #87

- Rebeca tells Alfredo that “Adriana” was her sister who died many years ago
- Alfredo asks Normita what “Adriana’s” actual name is then. Normita tells him it’s “Rebeca”.
- Normita goes into Marcelo’s office and tells him what just transpired after first asking him who the man who just left his office is.
- Leti tells Sara that she overheard Sergio saying he has feelings for her (L).
- Roman visits Lucia at Magdalena’s house and Mags asks Lucia who he is. They talk about Marcelo and Roman tells her not to trust Nora.
- Nora is worried that Alonso left everything to Lucia.
- Rebeca calls the factory and asks Normita why that man was at the factory earlier.
- Alfredo calls Milagros and asks to see her.
- Marcelo tells Nazario everything that Normita told him. He says it’ll be risky to ask Alfredo more about it because Alf is close to Milagros.
- Clara’s friend tells her that the police came looking for her. Clara tells her son what is going on. He tells her that she should go to talk to the police otherwise they’ll assume she’s guilty.
- The detectives decide to check the hospitals in their search for Clara.
- Lucia tells Magdalena that Roman is interested in her but she still loves Marcelo. She acknowledges that if she did fall in love with Roman things would be less complicated between herself and Rebeca/Nora.
- Alfredo asks Milagros if she remembers that he once had a relationship with someone named Adriana Murillo. He is sure that she is related to the women that Milagros asked him to have investigated.
- Milagros tells Alfredo that Rebeca Murillo has a sister named Magdalena and another sister who died about 23 or 24 years earlier. Alfredo wants to know if the woman who died is the same one that he knew.
- Nazario doesn’t want Marcelo to help him get his job back. Marcelo tells him that Lucia might be pregnant.
- The gynecologist confirms that Lucia is not and never was pregnant. He says there was something in Lucia’s blood that may have caused an abortion. Lucia is shocked and upset.
- Sara confirms to Magdalena the results of Lucia’s blood tests. She thinks someone, possibly Rebeca, gave Lucia something to cause the abortion. They are worried that Lucia is unprotected living with Rebeca and Nora.
- Lucia tells Marcelo the news. She says she’ll call him tomorrow.
- Marcelo tells Rafaela that he will try to talk to Daniela about what he knows about Ricardo.
- Lucia decides to go back home despite Magdalena’s protest. Magdalena advises her not to trust Rebeca.
- Rebeca asks Lucia what was wrong with her and Lucia tells her it was nothing important. A little later Rebeca hears Lucia crying in her room.
- Marcelo warns Daniela about Ricardo. He tells her what Ricardo did to Magdalena and how Rebeca was involved.
- Ricardo has drawn up the paperwork for the lawsuit against Marcelo that Amador planned.
- Milagros asks Rafaela if she knows the name of Lucia’s mother. Rafaela tells her it was Adriana. Milly is surprised that Lucia’s dad married two sisters.
- Daniela sees the paperwork for the lawsuit against Marcelo in Ricardo’s apartment. She confronts him about it and also about the fact that he left someone at the altar.
- Daniela leaves and drives away erratically before getting hit by a truck.
 

ECDLP #88

- Many witnesses to Daniela’s accident survey the scene and call for help.
- Ricardo calls Alfredo and agrees to leave Daniela alone as long as Alf pays him. Alf will deposit the money in Ricardo’s account the next day.
- Ricardo calls Amador asking to see him
- Milagros calls Alfredo to confirm to him that Lucia’s mother was indeed named Adriana.
- Marcelo tells Milagros that Daniela refused to listen to his warning about Ricardo. Marcelo says he won’t ever get back together with Daniela.
- Alfredo calls the private investigator and tells him to focus his research on Rebeca. He gets the call from the hospital about Daniela.
- Ricardo asks Amador for information on who Marcelo is and what connection Marc has or had to Daniela. He tells him that Daniela saw the documents for the lawsuit and says she might go warn Marcelo about it.
- Amador blames Ricardo for his carelessness and being involved with a younger woman. Ric reminds him that he did the same thing and that the woman he was involved with is now dead.
- Rebeca asks Nora what Daniela’s last name is and if it’s “Suarez”. Nora confirms.
- Alfredo rushes to the hospital and is directed to urgent care.
- The next morning Milagros tells Marcelo that Daniela was in an accident.
- Rebeca informs Lucia that the will reading is happening that morning.
- Magdalena tells Rebeca that the doctor who treated Lucia found that something provoked her illness. She accuses Rebeca of trying to hurt Lucia. She knows what Reb is capable of.
- As Marcelo and Milagros leave his apartment the police come to arrest him. Marcelo tells Milagros to call Mario and Sara.
- Clara’s son is upset that she hasn’t talked to the police yet. He finds the business card that the detectives left.
- Lucia, Nora and Rebeca arrive for the will reading, walking perfectly in sync. NOTE: see the original recap for the episode posted by Vivi in DC to see the epic screencap :)
- Mario gets the call from Milagros about Marcelo’s situation. Mario calls Sergio to take care of it until he can. He tells him not to tell anyone especially not Leti.
- Nazario arrives at the will reading as the executor of Alonso’s will.
- At the police station Marcelo is taken to a cell.
- Alonso’s will states that Lucia and Nora will receive an equal share of Alonso’s money and possessions.
- The shares of the Talavera factory will be divided amongst Lucia, Nora, Rebeca and Nazario with the former two holding 40% each and the latter two holding 10% each thus making Nazario a shareholder. Lucia gloats to Rebeca that she (R) can’t fire Nazario now.
- Sara introduces herself to Alfredo and assures him that Daniela is in good hands.
- Sergio goes to see Marcelo to get informed about his case. Marcelo accuses Rebeca and Amador of framing him.
- Sara lets Alfredo into the ICU to see Daniela through the hospital room window.
- Rebeca is upset that Naz is now a shareholder in the factory. She says she’ll handle Amador.
- Ricardo tells Amador that Marcelo was formally arrested.
- Lucia informs everyone at the factory that Nazario is now a shareholder. Amador isn’t pleased.
- The doctor informs Alfredo that Daniela developed an intracranial hematoma and is in a medically induced coma.

- Alfredo expresses guilt over not taking care of Daniela. He doesn’t think she will ever forgive him.
- Rebeca and Amador are flabbergasted that Nazario is now a shareholder of the factory. He tells her that Marcelo was arrested.
- Alfredo tells Ricardo he won’t deposit him the money. He doesn’t know what happened between D&R but whatever it was is the reason why Daniela is currently near death.
- Marcelo tells Mario that he has suspected that something like this was going to happen to him so he has copies of all of the factory’s financial information in his apartment.
- Sergio gossips to Rodrigo about Marcelo’s arrest. Rodrigo thinks he’ll have another chance to win Lucia back.
- Lucia is worried that Marcelo hasn’t shown up to work or answered her calls.
- Nazario gets ahold of Rafaela and she tells him that Marcelo was arrested. Lucia rushes to the police station.
- The detectives discuss Marcelo’s cases and the connections that Ricardo Marquez and the Gaxiola family have to him/the case.
- Mario looks over the documents that are in Marcelo’s apartment. He tells Milagros that he hopes to get Marcelo out on bail. He tells her that visits are restricted.
- Lucia is not allowed to see Marcelo.
- Nora goes looking for Daniela but instead meets Alfredo. She pretends to be a friend of Dani’s. He tells her that Dani was in an accident. She introduces herself and Alfredo tells her that he knows her mother.
- Nazario tells Lucia that he wasn’t able to get her a visitors permit to see Marcelo. They run into Milagros and she blames Lucia for Marcelo’s current predicament and Daniela’s accident. Lucia is confused by the latter accusation.
- Rodrigo tells Amador that he wants to return to the factory. Amador is elated.
- After laying on a sob story, Milagros is allowed to see Marcelo. She blames the Gaxiola family for what’s happening and gives him an update on Daniela’s condition.
- Nora tells Rebeca that she met Daniela’s dad and that he said that he knows her (R). Rebeca denies knowing who he is.
- Alfredo prohibits Ricardo from visiting Daniela in the hospital.
- Lucia is upset that Mario didn’t tell her about Marcelo’s situation. Magdalena is shocked that Rebeca might be involved and that Ricardo is representing Amador.
- Ricardo asks Sara if she confronted Rebeca yet. Sara tells him that Rebeca denied everything. Ric has no doubt that Alonso’s death was convenient for Rebeca.
- Lucia tells Nazario that she doesn’t really want Marcelo to leave Puebla.
- Rafaela tells Milagros that Marcelo’s lawyer is the husband of Lucia’s aunt, Magdalena. Milagros is miffed at yet another connection to the Gaxiolas.
- Lucia confronts Rebeca about the supposed fraud that Marcelo committed. Nora tells Lucia that Roman came to see her.
- Lucia tells Roman that Marcelo is currently in big problems. Nora takes a picture of L&R hugging.
- Sara asks Leti if she knows who Daniela. Leti confirms and says that Daniela is dating her dad.
- Nora is about to send the picture to Marcelo when Lucia comes in. She tries to hide her phone in a drawer when Lucia sees plot earring and asks her where she found it.
