I'm not watching anything in Daytime now except ECDLP, but it's hilarious to see that Pasion de Gavilanes and Fuego en la Sange are opposite each other.
 

Hola Caray mates! I miss watching a daytime telenovela with y'all and reading snarky recaps & commentarios, but such is life. (gah)

General and OT-ish

UA - I noticed that. While the two stories are adapted from the same original telenovela, IMHO they are quite different in so. many. ways. And actually, I've never been able to stick with PdG while FELS is so horribly entertaining. I think it is due to the massive eye-roll and snark factor. LOL I would definitely be watching FELS again if it was on one-hour/day.

Hubs and I were watching a recently recorded Hallmark Movie and while FFWDing thru the commercials, I had him put the brakes on, rewind, because ... did I see what I thought I saw?
Oh, well, yes I did. Sweet William is starring October 9 in an upcoming Hallmark movie "South Beach Love":

It looks to have a few other Latina stars. We have it set to record and hopefully will be worth the watch.

I wonder whether either or both of them are being cut to pieces because of how long they were in the original run. While PdG was better-written I thought that FELS had a better cast and better music. It also had Jorge Salinas and Pablo Montero. Love both of them.

William Levy, OTOH, does nothing for me.
 

General/OT

I had wanted to watch Amor Bravio but it’s on too early for me and I decided I didn’t want to record it. I gave up on “Café….” after like 5 episodes lol so as much as I wanted to see William on my TV again, even he couldn’t hold my attention in that TN.
 

ECDLP #105

- Marcelo and Lucia arrive back in Puebla. They talk about getting married. Lucia tells him he needs to talk to Daniela. Nora watched them from the balcony.
- Rafaela finds Milagros on the floor crying with a bottle of liquor. Milagros says Aída came to see her.
- Lucia finds her bedroom in complete disarray and Nora says there was a lot wind (lol)
- Nora knows Lucia and Marcelo are back together and isn’t happy about it. She warns Lucia that if L marries Marcelo, she (N) will kill herself. Rebeca overhears and stares daggers at Lucia.
- Daniela tells Rodrigo that they shouldn’t have had sex. When Sergio comes in, she leaves. Sergio figures out what happened between them.
- Leti tells Sara that she and Sergio are back together.
- Marcelo visits Nazario and asks if he can stay with him.
- Sergio makes fun of Rodrigo for all the women he’s been with (Lucia, Nora, Ligia, and Daniela)
- Daniela returns to her apartment and receives a lecture from Alfredo. She tells him that Marcelo is back together with Lucia and she wants him to give her an explanation.
- Rebeca asks Lucia about what’s going on between her and Marcelo. She claims Marcelo is just hurting all of them. Lucia isn’t willing to give up her happiness to appease Nora.
- Nora calls Gloria and says it’s time for her to return the favor.
- Nazario doesn’t like that Marcelo and Lucia are planning to get married in secret but agrees to support them. And Marcelo won’t be able to return to the factory yet.
- The next morning Nora assures Rebeca that she is fine. Roman calls Rebeca and asks her to come in and talk to him. He won’t take no for an answer.
- Teresa puts the pieces together about Clara and wants to tell Lucia but Lucia is my home. She tells Rebeca about “Lalo’s neighbor with a sick son” and says it’s Clara, the woman who came looking for Rebeca after Trini died.
- Rebeca tells Teresa that Clara worked for them when Adriana died and robbed the house. She tells her not to tell Lucia about it.
- Sara tells Clara that Benito has Guillain Barre syndrome and will need to do more tests but she won’t charge Clara anything.
- At the hospital, Lucia tells Magdalena that she and Marcelo plan to wed. She tells her about Nora’s threat to kill herself. Mags doesn’t think Nora would go that far. She asks Lucia about Roman.
- Magdalena is sad that she hasn’t gotten pregnant yet. Clara walks by but they don’t see her.
- Milagros asks Rafaela not to tell Marcelo about Aída’s visit. She says she’s starting to pay dearly for her sins.
- Rebeca tells Normita she wants to see Lalo’s file. Amador also left her papers regarding Vini’s liquidation.
- Aída tells her friend that she went to confront Milagros. She doesn’t think she’ll run into Marcelo again.
- Normita brings Rebeca Lalo’s file. Reb asks Normita about Clara’s son. She writes down Lalo’s address.
- Marcelo and Daniela agree to meet up.
- Alfredo suggests to Rebeca that Nora needs to be hospitalized for her emotional issues.
- Marcelo tells Lucia that he’s meeting up with Daniela.
- Amador tells Lucia that Vinicio’s severance pay is ready. He hopes that firing Vini will change Lucia’s opinion about him but Lucia says not until he stops the lawsuit against Marcelo. Amador says he won’t do that.
- Daniela guilt trips Marcelo about abandoning her. She tells him that Rebeca is her dad's lover. Marcelo wants to be on good terms with Dani but she throws a drink in his face and tells him to go to hell.
- Rebeca shows up at Clara’s apartment. Clara wonders if Rebeca’s family knows what happened the day Adriana died. Rebeca denies everything.
- Rebeca offers to pay for Benito’s medical treatment as long as Clara agrees to stay quiet.
 

General OT

TF - IKWYM I liked Levy in Sortilegio but he couldn't hold my interest in Tempestad. If this Hallmark movie does not look good after 15-20 minutes, DH and I are merciless with the "DELETE" button. Hopefully the rest of the cast will be good, along with the story, etc.

Any sensible man would have left the country by now with pathetic Daniela, psycho Nora, evil Rbecca, and controlling Milagros always after him.
 

ECDLP #106

- Clara knows that Rebeca is “buying” her. Clara knows what she heard and saw the day Adriana died. Rebeca leaves Clara her contact info.
- Amador gives Vini his check and Vini complains about the low amount. Vini says he doesn’t plan to leave Puebla.
- Vini starts talking loudly about the fire in the factory and Trini’s death but nobody else is there to hear him.
- Lalo and Normita hope Nazario will return to work soon. She tells him that Vini came to get his severance pay.
- Marcelo tells Lucia about his disastrous meet up with Daniela. They talk about their upcoming wedding. Lucia says that Roman deserves an explanation from her.
- Marcelo tells Lucia that Alfredo and Rebeca are hooking up. He’s worried that Alfredo doesn’t know everything about Rebeca.
- Roman tells Rebeca he won’t treat Nora anymore and will refer her to someone else. He accuses Rebeca of being part of the cause of Nora’s emotional instability.
- Ricardo calls Rebeca and tells her that he has something of hers - a photo
- Daniela whines to Milagros about Marcelo dumping her. Milly tells her to return to the city but Daniela refuses.
- Rodrigo calls Daniela but she doesn’t answer.
- Rodrigo tells Amador he’ll no longer beg Lucia to get back together with her. He doesn’t want to end up like Amador when it comes to a broken marriage and mysteriously dead lovers.
- Gloria calls Lucia wanting to meet up. Lucia reluctantly agrees.
- Tere tells Lalo what she learned about Clara. Vini is spying on them.
- Alfredo isn’t happy that Marcelo broke up with Daniela. Marcelo calls him out for being involved with Rebeca again. Marc tells him that Rebeca stole her sister’s fiancé from her and that it was Ricardo. Marcelo encourages him get more info about Rebeca from Ric.
- Ricardo gives Rebeca the photo back but it’s not the original one with the dedication. He asks her how she gets away with everything she’s done.
- Ricardo pulls her in for a kiss as a way of parting. She bites his ear.
- TRIGGER WARNING: Vini corners Teresa in the street and sexually abuses her.
- Lalo tells Clara he can’t help her anymore. Clara rushes Benito to the ER when he has trouble breathing.
- Lucia visits Roman and tells him that she and Marcelo are planning to wed. He’s happy for her but says he isn’t treating Nora anymore because all Nora talks about is her (Lucia) so he needs to distance himself from that.
- Alfredo asks Daniela if Ricardo is still in Puebla. She doesn’t know.
- Milagros berates Marcelo over the phone about breaking up with Daniela. She doesn’t want him to return to the city.
- Marcelo tells Nazario a little bit about his parents broken marriage.
- Teresa tells Lucia that Vini abused her. She’s afraid to go to the police. Lucia takes her into the house.
- Clara has gotten Benito to the clinic.
- Rebeca burns the picture she took back from Ricardo. Clara calls her to accept the deal.
- Rebeca gives Clara money but warns her not to tell Sara anything.
- Marcelo asks Lalo to be a witness in his and Lucia’s civil wedding ceremony.
- Lucia calls Marcelo and tells him what happened to Teresa. Lalo hears Marcelo mention Teresa’s name.
- Teresa tells Lucia that she doesn’t want anyone to find out what happened to her.
- Marcelo has told Lalo the truth (off screen) and Lalo tells Lucia he wants to see Tere but Lucia tells him Tere doesn’t want to see anyone. She encourages him to go to the factory.
- Lalo goes to Vinicio’s place with a baseball bat to confront him. Vini gets the upper hand and is about to hit Lalo when Lalo sees the cross that was stolen from Nazario’s house. He realizes that Vini killed Trini.
