@Steve: There’s about 16 episodes left, including today’s episode so if there’s no preemptions then the finale will be in three weeks from tomorrow.
 

ECDLP #107

- Vinicio pushes Lalo into the wall smashing the cross and knocks him unconscious before running out of his apartment.
- Benito asks Clara if Lalo knows he’s in the hospital. Clara says Lalo can’t come see him.
- Lucia is mad that Marcelo told Lalo about Teresa. Nazario tells them that Lalo didn’t go into work. He has Vinicio’s address so he and Marcelo go.
- Alfredo and Rebeca talk about Nora and Daniela. Alf says he’s taking Dani back to the city. He hopes she doesn’t fall for another guy
Iike Ricardo. He has heard that Ric left left Magdalena at the altar for Rebeca. Rebeca denies this.
- Leti tells Ricardo that she reconciled with Sergio. She notices boxes in his apartment and he tells her he’s leaving Puebla. She leaves upset.
- Marcelo and Nazario find Lalo unconscious. He wakes up and tells them about the cross and that Vini was the one who killed Trini.
- Mario goes to talk to Magdalena’s gynecologist. Since Mags is healthy, Mario agrees to get tested for possible infertility.
-Magdalena mentions to Sara that Al wouldn’t have stopped looking for Clara Rosales - the woman who witnessed Adriana’s accident - if he was alive.
- Sara tells Magdalena that she knows someone named Clara Rosales but isn’t sure it’s the same person.
- Marcelo tells Lucia that Lalo is okay but that they found something out about Vinicio that he’ll tell her later.
- The detectives ask Lalo questions. One of them finds Marcelo’s wallet that was stolen when he was attacked outside of the factory. Nazario tells the detectives to interrogate Amador.
- Gloria tells Lucia that she thinks Nora is engaging in self harm.
- Nora barges into Roman’s office saying that he needs to do his part in separating Lucia and Marcelo. He promptly kicks her out.
- Sara and Magdalena to go see Clara. Magdalena tries to get her to tell her more about what happened the day Adriana died. Clara doesn’t give deep details.
- Nazario tells Marcelo he’s sure that Vini acted on Amador’s orders to kill Trini and attack him (Marcelo)
- The detectives question Amador about Vinicio. Amador claims to not know where Vini is. Brigida asks him who Vini is and he calls her a meddler.
- Gloria tells Nora that Lucia believed her. Nora says she might need Gloria to reinforce the story to Lucia later.
- Sara notes that Clara is too scared to reveal what she might know about Adriana’s death if she does know something. Magdalena feels guilty about looking for evidence that Rebeca is involved.
- Ricardo tells Leti that he doesn’t want to lose contact with her but doesn’t think he’ll ever return to Puebla. They hug goodbye and Ric tells her that she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
- Daniela shows up at Casa Gaxiola and slaps Lucia for stealing Marcelo from her. On her way out she runs into Nora and tells her that Alfredo and Rebeca are lovers. She caught them in bed together. Dani says she hopes her dad doesn’t endure the same fate as “the others”. When Nora asks what she means, Dani tells her to ask Rebeca.
- Normita gives the detectives a file on Vinicio. They ask to talk to Rebeca in her office.
- Nora remembers Ricardo’s words about if she ever wanted to know more about Rebeca to go look for him.
- Sara also tells Alfredo that if he wants to know more about Rebeca to ask Ricardo.
- Marcelo tells Lucia that it seems like Vinicio killed Trini and that Amador is also involved. Lucia tells him that Daniela confronted her.
- Nora confronts Ricardo. He doesn’t think it’s worth telling her anything since she likely won’t believe him. He only says that Rebeca is capable of anything including murder, Nora hits him with her purse as he’s holding a glass of wine. The glass breaks and shards go into his neck. As he collapses dead he smears his own blood on Nora’s dress. Nora screams.

Ximena Romo's look makes me wish this story had been set in the 1940s or 50s with the music of that era. This story is pure nor.

Loved watching the blood stain her dress. How apt, as there is a lot of blood on her and her mother's hands.

That is one of the greatest scenes ever. Maybe we should do a weekend discussion on the most spectacular death scenes.

ECDLP #108

- As Nora attempts to leave Ricardo’s apartment she opens the door and sees Alfredo standing there. He is shocked to see she’s covered in blood.
- Rebeca tells Amador she doesn’t want Brigida to know what’s going on at the factory with Vinicio. She remembers that Naz thought Amador was involved in Trini’s death
- Alfredo calls Rebeca telling her to come to Ricardo’s apartment as it concerns Nora.
- Rebeca calls Lucia asking if she knows where Nora is.
- Leti tells Sara that Ricardo left Puebla. She feels like she might not ever see him again.
- Rebeca rushes into Ricardo’s apartment and sees his dead body. Alfredo says he doesn’t know what happened but Nora is very shaken up.
- Rebeca doesn’t want Alfredo to call the police.
- Rebeca assures Alfredo she’ll take care of it. Alfredo finds Nora’s purse left behind in the apartment.
- Mario is pensive as Magdalena talks about the discovery that Vinicio killed Trini. He tells her that he’s undergoing some health tests.
- Nazario tells Marcelo that he’ll return to the factory the next day. Marcelo tells him he feels sorry for Nora.
- Rebeca and Nora return to the house. Nora has her back to Lucia so L doesn’t see her blood stained dress.
- Rebeca gets Nora into the shower and dumps the bloody dress in the trash outside.
- Daniela tells Alfredo that she returned to the city.
- The PI tells Marcelo that he is close to finding info about Amador’s shady business. He shows him pictures of potential women named Aída Lugo. Marcelo finds the right one in the pile with her contact info on the back.
- Tere accidentally knocks the trash bins over and she and Lucia see Nora’s bloody dress.
- Rebeca lies to Lucia saying that it’s blood from Nora trying to slit her wrists again and blames Lucia and Marcelo.
- Nora tells Rebeca that Ricardo and Daniela said things to her about Rebeca. Rebeca tells her that she’ll have to wrap her wrists.
- Lucia asks Tere to take Nora a tray of food and tells her what Rebeca said about Nora.
- The landlord discovers Ricardo’s dead body.
- Amador taunts Nazario saying he hopes the police find Vinicio soon. Naz is sure Vini will have a lot to confess when he’s caught.
- The detectives discuss Vinicio’s relationship with Amador. They get notified about Ricardo’s death.
- Lucia tells Marcelo about Nora’s supposed suicide attempt and says Roman is no longer treating Nora. Marcelo doesn’t want to sacrifice their relationship because of Nora
- Nora realizes she left her purse at Ricardo’s apartment. Rebeca will go get it. Rebeca tells Tere not to disturb Nora.
- Alfredo calls Rebeca to ask if she’s already notified the police. She says no.
- Daniela whines about Marcelo and Lucia to Milagros. Milagros tells her that she needs to come up with a new plan.
- Rebeca get Nora’s car from outside of Ricardo’s apartment and sees the police already blocking the area off.
- The detectives decide they need to speak with Amador to find out if Ricardo has any close relatives they can contact. They’ll also look through Ricardo’s phone.
- Daniela calls Marcelo wanting her old wheelchair from his apartment. He’ll have his former secretary leave the spare keys for her.
- Marcelo tells Lucia he needs to go to the city to talk to the woman his dad cheated on his mom with.
- Alfredo returns Nora’s purse to Rebeca. She begs him not to go to the police. He doesn’t want to be Nora’s accomplice. He’ll go to the police straight away. Rebeca blurts out that he can’t do that because Nora is his daughter.
