ECDLP #112

- Lucia tells Marcelo that she can’t marry him today because something happened with Nora and she needs to be with her.
- Marcelo tells those who are waiting that the wedding is cancelled. Everyone is confused.
- Rebeca goes to Gloria’s house looking for Nora but she isn’t there.
- Roman tells Nora that Lucia is coming to get her. He didn’t tell Lucia anything about what Nora confessed. Nora begs him not to tell anyone.
- Roman tells her that it’s something confidential between the two of them but that sooner or later Nora will have to face what she did.
- Nora doesn’t think anyone will believe that it was an accident. But Roman commends her for confessing it to him and will help her if she’s committed to it.
- Lucia arrives at Roman’s place. Roman says that fortunately Nora went to him. He tells Lucia that Nora’s crisis was not because Lucia was about to marry Marcelo. Roman advises Lucia not to pressure Nora.
- Milagros tells Rafaela she’s going to see someone. Once she leaves Rafaela begins searching for plot gun.
- Lucia returns home with Nora. Tere says that Marcelo is there.
- Marcelo is frustrated thinking that Nora is blackmailing Lucia. Lucia tells him that’s not the case this time.
- Lucia asks Marcelo if he feels bad about what just happened with Daniela and he says yes. She says they can’t be happy while hurting others at the same time. She says she’ll become his wife when the time is right.
- Outside Marcelo runs into Rebeca and says Lucia cancelled the wedding because of Nora. Rebeca tells him that if Nora ends her life like Federico did, it’ll be Marcelo’s fault. Even though Marc doubts it, Rebeca says she feels guilty about Federico’s death.
- Rebeca scolds Nora for telling Roman everything. Nora says he promised not to go to the police. Nora isn’t sure she can trust Rebeca. Rebeca swears she was never involved with Ricardo.
- Sara tells Magdalena that she had promised Alonso she’d find out the truth about what happened to Adriana but won’t anymore. Magdalena tells her that Lucia and Marcelo didn’t get married and it was probably because of Nora.
- Daniela confesses to Milagros that Rebeca is responsible for Federico’s suicide.
- Milagros returns home and looks sadly at Federico’s ashes. Rafaela calls Marcelo and says she couldn’t find the gun but that one of the drawers is locked.
- Nazario suggests to Marcelo that he ask Milagros directly where the gun is.
- Alfredo informs Daniela that Ricardo was murdered.
- Lucia discovers that Nora did not actually cut her wrists again. Nora refuses to tell her what really happened even though Lucia says she saw Nora’s bloody dress.
- Mario confesses to Magdalena that he’s sterile. He apologizes and leaves.
- Rebeca refuses to tell Lucia what really happened with Nora.
- Clara tells Lalo she now has the money to pay for Benito’s treatment and had to “sell her soul to the devil” to get it.
- Amador attempts to force himself on Brigida. She manages to stop him.
- Lucia wants Roman to tell her what’s going on with Nora. He says he can’t because of confidentiality.
- Lucia is sure Nora’s crisis has something to do with her coming home the other day with her dress covered in blood and that was the same night that Leti’s father was murdered.
- Roman tells Lucia not to jump to conclusions or question Nora, and to let him handle things.
- Rafaela sees the open drawer and the empty box inside.
- Rebeca and Nora are outside eating and talking about Lucia’s suspicions. Rebeca thinks Nora trusts Lucia and Roman more than she trusts her.
- As she walks to the front steps Rebeca sees Milagros there. Milagros says Rebeca will pay for what she did to Federico. Nora walks over when Milagros takes out the gun, points it at Rebeca and fires. Nora screams.
 

ECDLP #112

Gracias; good job.

Nora's scream was a little too theatrical, even for her. While one can't fault Milagros too much for wanting to kill Rebecca, Federico would not have turned to someone like her if Milagros had not been such a sMother. Women like her can't handle the truth.

Rebecca should worry about Nora's trust. She is the cause of the latest doubts.

Nora is the way she is in large part because of Rebeca.

Nora is Rebecca's creation. She is just as selfish, evil, and narcissistic as her mother. In fact, she is a monster. Lucia is a total martyr for caving to her crazy.
 

ECDLP #113 RECAP PART ONE

- Milagros has shot Rebeca in the arm. She aims the gun a second time and Nora begs her not to shoot. Milagros says that Rebeca is the culprit of her son committing suicide and that she (R) needs to pay.
- Nora begs Rebeca to tell her that it’s not true what Milagros is saying. Rebeca doesn’t answer and Milagros aims the gun at her again.
- Rebeca swears that if she could’ve prevented Federico from doing what he did she would’ve but if Milagros thinks it’s best to kill Rebeca in front of her daughter then go ahead.
- Milagros lowers the gun and it accidentally goes off aiming at the ground before she drops it. She says that divine justice exists and that one day God will make Rebeca suffer as she (Milagros) has. She turns to leave.
- Nora yells at Rebeca saying Milagros has every right to hate her. How could she do such a thing?
- Rebeca picks up the gun and starts walking into the house with Nora on her heels demanding an explanation.
- Lucia finds Milagros outside the gate. Milagros says she always knew that Federico’s murderer lived in this house and now she’ll NEVER accept a relationship between Marcelo and Lucia.
- Lucia enters the house to hear Nora from upstairs demanding Rebeca give her an explanation. She finds Nora banging on Rebeca’s bedroom door.
- Nora tells Lucia that Milagros tried to kill Rebeca because Rebeca is responsible for Federico’s suicide and that Rebeca didn’t deny it. Lucia says she already knows and urges Nora to calm down and that Rebeca will explain everything to her later.
- Lucia manages to get Nora to her bedroom. Rebeca cries and flashes back to Federico’s suicide.
- Rafaela calls Marcelo and tells him that Milagros isn’t home and that the gun is missing. He asks her if Milagros saw/talked to Daniela. Rafaela doesn’t know but says that the day before Milagros went to meet up with someone and came back acting strange.
- Daniela asks Alfredo if he knows who killed Ricardo. He says no but the police are investigating.
- Marcelo calls Daniela wanting to know if she told Milagros the truth about Federico’s relationship with Rebeca. Alfredo answers at first and relays the message to Daniela. She grabs the phone and confirms that she told Milagros everything.
- Sara advises Magdalena to not blame Mario for his infertility and asks if she really thinks she needs a child to be happy with Mario.
- Samuel advises Mario to give Magdalena time to process things. Mario doesn’t think things will ever be the same between them.

ECDLP #113 RECAP PART TWO

- Lucia tells Rebeca that Nora deserves an explanation. She was the only one that did not know about Rebeca’s relationship with Federico. Rebeca doesn’t think the truth will pacify Nora but Lucia says the truth is the only thing Rebeca has left.
- Tere tells Lucia that Marcelo is waiting for her outside. Marcelo tells Lucia that Milagros knows everything and that she could come at any moment.
- Lucia tells Marcelo that Milagros was already there. She wasn’t present but Nora told her that Milagros had a gun and shot Rebeca. Luckily the bullet only grazed her arm. Marcelo is worried that Nora knows everything and Lucia confirms that Nora is in bad shape even though she doesn’t know all of the details.
- Lucia tells Marcelo that Nora’s crisis was not because they were going to get married but because of a problem she’s in. Lucia doesn’t know what it is and that Roman said not to pressure Nora to tell her about it.
- Marcelo doesn’t think things could get any worse than they already are. He asks if Lucia knows where Milagros went. Lucia says no.
- Milagros has gone to the church. She tells Padre Samuel that she had to confront the woman who took her son from her. She was ready to kill the woman but couldn’t. Samuel says maybe Federico prevented her from doing it. Milagros doesn’t think so. Samuel advises her to lean on her other son for support. Milagros thinks that if her other son cared about her he would’ve told her what he knew.
- Nazario and Amador argue again. Amador denies being involved in Trini’s death. Nazario is sure Vinicio will be caught soon and will confess everything. He can’t wait to see Amador be taken down.
 

ECDLP #113 RECAP PART THREE

- Rebeca goes to Nora’s room. Nora says that when she had learned that Marcelo’s brother had killed himself over a woman she never imagined that Rebeca would be the woman.
- Rebeca says she’s not proud of it. Nora says she isn’t proud to be Rebeca’s daughter. Rebeca understands that Nora feels bad knowing that Rebeca cheated on Alonso but Alonso never loved her (R).
- Nora says that nothing justifies that especially when Rebeca got involved with someone who could have been her son. Now Nora understands why Rebeca didn’t want her to get involved with Marcelo and why she opposed Lucia marrying him.
- Rebeca says that she feels more calm now that Nora knows everything and tells her not to be unfair with her. Nora has also done bad things. Nora says that they are the same. Everyone that gets close to them dies.
- Marcelo goes to the church to pick up Milagros. He tells her that what she did has no justification. Milagros says she didn’t have the courage to kill Rebeca.
- Milagros doesn’t understand how Marcelo could love Lucia knowing that Rebeca is responsible for Federico’s death. Marcelo says it’s not Lucia’s fault. Milagros doesn’t have the courage to see Federico’s ashes from now on.
- Lucia finds Nora outside. Nora says she’s drowning inside. Nora asks Lucia if she’d do anything for her. Lucia says yes. Nora asks her to take her far away from Rebeca.
- Rebeca berates Alfredo for Daniela telling Milagros everything. Alfredo defends that Milagros could’ve hired a PI herself and found out. He is surprised to learn that Nora now knows everything. Rebeca says she’s starting to pay for everything she’s done.
- Lucia thinks Nora is taking things to an extreme level. She says they need to talk to Roman.
- Magdalena goes to see Mario at the law firm. They apologize to each other and reconcile.
- Lucia reminds Rebeca that she didn’t confess to Nora that she (R) had more lovers, including Alfredo Suarez, and used Adriana’s name.
- Lucia won’t tell Nora her suspicions about Rebeca being involved in Alonso’s death. She tells Reb that Nora went to have a session with Roman.
- Roman doesn’t want Nora to run away from her problems. Nora says she doesn’t want to be near her mom. Roman wonders why Nora trusts Lucia now. Nora says she doesn’t have anyone else.
-Marcelo and Milagros return to the city. He asks her to give him the gun. She says she left it at Casa Gaxiola. Marcelo tells Rafaela to leave Milagros alone for now.
- Marcelo tells Rafaela that he and Lucia didn’t get married. Marcelo thinks they should take Federico’s ashes somewhere else.
- Rebeca asks Nora why she wants to leave. Nora says she doesn’t want to live with her anymore. She didn’t want Milagros to kill Rebeca and can’t forget what Ricardo told her about Rebeca.
- Rebeca says she’s only cared about and protected Nora but Nora doesn’t appreciate it. If Nora leaves it’ll be forever and she can forget that she has a mother
- Marcelo asks Lucia how Nora is doing. Lucia asks him about Milagros. Marcelo says Milagros left the gun there and asks her to look for it.
- Milagros asks Rafaela if she knew the truth the whole time. Rafaela says yes. She says that Federico’s death also affected her. Milagros says Rafaela is just a simple servant. Rafaela calls her cruel and refuses to continue arguing.
- They take their argument out to the hallway and Milagros accidentally pushes Rafaela down the stairs.
