Mi Fortuna Es Amarte #18 The one where Chente built the wall
Patio peeps come and get your recap! Shout out to our girl Judy B!
Chente and Natalia continue to fight, they resolve nothing so the one foot wall gets built, Natalia gets the kitchen but Chente gets most of the bathrooms, Natalia, Regina, Teresa and Claudio will have to share one bathroom.
Olga threatens Benjamin with getting rid of all his loved ones if he gets in her way, she makes the poor little guy weep but thankfully Regina is near and comes to his rescue, she is told by Olga that Benjamin is distraught because kids are picking on him for being mute and because his mother is dead. Olga warns Benjamin to keep his mouth shut, she sees and knows everything because she's a witch and she will hurt him if he tells anyone that she's being abusive. B*tch.
Mario learns that Tania is gone and with her all of his money.
Samia fills Elias in on the latest gossip, Tania left the country and apparently she was working with Veronica and Adrian the whole time, she tells her husband that Tania booked a trip to Miami so Elias can start looking for Adrian there. Elias says he is disgusted with the behavior of the unholy trinity (Veronica, Tania and Adrian), he is not going to give Veronica any money for information on Adrian, she's already defrauded him once, and once is enough. Sidenote: My boyfriend does not know a lot of Spanish but I did manage to teach him the Spanish word for gossip which is "chisme".
Omar proposes to Andrea, someone start a prayer circle for him!
William continues to stalk Constanza, they go to lunch together and he tells her that a lot of women, some of them are even her friends pay him for his "services", Constanza refuses to pay for him to be her boy toy so then he tells her that there are other women who pay for him to keep his mouth closed about their indiscretions, he offers Constanza that option, all it will cost her is three million a month and he does not offer discounts. Girl, it would be cheaper to get a hitman.
Chente returns home and he and Natalia are in the process of making up, he tells her he regretted the wall the moment the first brick went up but by then it was too late to change his mind, with hammer in hand he goes to knock the wall down when suddenly three police officers burst through the door and tell him to put down his weapon, he is under arrest for attempted murder. Vicente immediately accuses Natalia of being behind his arrest in order to steal the house. Vicente is led outside of the home and who should be out there? Olga. Vicente tells her to go to his brothers and to take care of his grandmother and Benjamin, as soon as he is gone Olga turns on Natalia and slaps her, Natalia tells her she will deal with her later but asks Olga to go get Juan Gabriel and Jose Jose, Olga tells her she is not her maid and won't be told what to do, she's going to go with Chente.
Once they arrive at the jail Olga tells Chente that she always knew Natalia was a bad person, but that's okay, he has her and her "friendship" until she dies. Yeah, that's super freaking creepy.
Natalia also finds out the news about Tania, Mario's attorney wants her to testify in his defense, she agrees.
Elsewhere Claudio is putting on a show, he is walking around with a neck brace and a cane and claiming that he took a beating and almost DIED. DIED. Octavio tells him not to create any more problems for Natalia but Claudio thinks she should be thanking him for getting rid of Chente.
Teresa gets her hair done by Chole who tells her the haircut is a welcome gift, Teresa offers to do a tarot card reading for her in order to thank her but Chole declines, Valentina however would love a reading, Teresa goes home to get the cards only to find out that Claudio got Chente arrested.
Teresa and Natalia confront Claudio, they demand he go to the police and drop the charges, otherwise he is out on the street and not only that but Teresa will leave him.
These issues have created a lot of hard feelings, mainly with Juan Gabriel who was ready to kick Natalia out, he only stops because his grandmother told him to sit his butt down.
Natalia goes to the jail, she tells Chente that she comes in peace, she promises to regain his trust.

Why would Claudio bite the only hand willing to feed him? He's an idiot.
Wanton Willie is a disgusting oxygen waster. I agree that rather than pay she should consider other options such as "a hitman". Does he do twofers? Perhaps Claudio could be thrown in for free.
Olga was truly vile in not only her words but the way in which she spoke to Benja. It was infuriating that Chente chose Olga to help him rather than Natalia. No matter what vice Olga gets in, she manages to slither away.
So, more lies, misunderstandings and machinations. I do feel for Mario - imagine having your own sister ruin your life.

Diana, Claudio is a lawyer, my best guess is that he wants to sue Chente.
So my boyfriend had a friend, we will call her Becky cause that's her real name who started to act like Olga, she would call my boyfriend several times a day, would text him good morning and good night, and even showed up at his house unannounced, it got to the point where he had to ghost her because she could not take a hint and when he did that she started reaching out to his friends asking if they knew why he was ignoring her.
I forgot to add in my recap, Tavo and Chole go out to dinner at a super fancy place, everyone looks at them and Chelo wonders if she's not dressed appropriately for the restaurant, she also refuses to eat there because of the prices, she says God might punish them for eating such expensive food when there are so many people going without, they decide to get tacos instead, they kiss and Fernanda sees them!
I've gotta tell you, I live in LA and have been to some high end places and have actually felt overdressed when people around me were wearing sweats! At a high end stake house! I also have felt bad when we've had a meal in downtown and have walked back to the car and on our way we see homeless people without shoes, it always makes me feel guilty.

I am enjoying this novela, but that stupid wall is beyond annoying. Does Chente really have such bad character flaws, and would he really do such a thing to his beloved house?
I can appreciate a really good-looking Mean Girl or Bad Girl, and I don't usually mind if we learn she has killed a few dozen worthless people here and there, but to mess with a young child's mind on screen is terrible. I'm considering breaking it off with Olga.
I did not recognize Mario's new cellmate; thanks for the ID, Niecie. Here's hoping he's not more trouble for poor Mario.
BTW, Teresa (Ana Bertha Espín) is looking pretty good in this show, better I think than in LQNPA from 2012. And she plays a much, much nicer person. Susana González's role is also a much nicer person in this one.

Olga's treatment of Benjamin really triggered me because my step-sister did this to her kids, she physically abused them and then like Olga threatened them by telling them that they would never see us again if they told anyone what was happening at home, my hate for Olga keeps growing!
