AMOR VAL

ok we watched this last nite. Due to the Turkish addiction I am having..Wow the dialogue is really fast so I think I may have missed parts, but this seem like decent mockable fun. This one really reminds me of the 80's over the top prime time soaps. I don't know the actress name but she is Mavis in Embassador, she has a sassy haircut that I admire and she wears extremely short, tight shorts. I feel like they may need a disclaimer warning of yeast infections. Anyway I am liking the rich family owns everyone and everything in giant area, yet they all live in the same hateful house.

Season 2 Episode 65 –Monday – Part 1 of 5

We return to Dimi coming into the house to confront Gaby about why they are getting rid of the painting he went to so much trouble to steal for them. Unlike the employees who had been cagy with details, Gaby is straight up in telling Dimi they got rid of the painting because it was stolen. He asks for more details but she tells him she is sure he knows more about it than she does. He tries to demand she stay and talk to him or tell him where Sarita is but she isn’t having any of this and she basically tells him to go to hell. (We are all really proud of her and cheering her on until she stalks off to go upstairs instead of going to her car leave!!! You are alone in the house with a murderer child, don’t go upstairs!!!!) Dimi follows naturally!!

Dimi confronts Gaby in her room and Gaby tries to stand her ground the best she can. She claims she isn’t afraid but her eyes tell another story. Dimi informs her she’s about to get to know the real Demetrio, the one who is dying to do certain things to her!!! (Franco don’t hesitate and enjoy the scenery!!! COME NOW!!!!!)

Or, Gonzo could go inside since he’s at the gate seeing the truck off. Demetrio makes his move and Franco arrives at the shutting gate. Gonzo sees him and calls out a hello – he asks how he can help him but Franco sits on the bike and says nothing as Gonzo slowly walks toward him (Pick up the pace guys!!) In the meantime, Dimi is creepily confessing to Gaby how many girls he’s raped as he pins her up against the wall in anticipation of finally getting what he’s always wanted. He admits he stalked her and now has nothing to lose! Gaby tries to grab some scissors but is ineffective. Franco and Gonzo oblivious to the danger, continue to waste precious minutes on their silly re-meet-greet. Gonzo finally recognizes Franco when he gets close enough. Gonzo tells him only Gaby is home but she’ll be thrilled to see him (especially if he hurries and arrives say NOW!!!) Franco oddly leaves the motorcycle right there in the middle of the driveway in front of the gate and doesn’t even drive up to the house???? Gaby continues to fight off Dimi, she needs to yell louder! Irene is outside and doesn’t hear Gaby either but sees and hugs Franco, more precious seconds wasted but FINALLY Gaby yells loud enough that they can hear and Franco takes off running the moment he hears his daughter scream help.

Dimi rips Gaby’s blouse and starts kissing on her, Gaby is begging him to stop but he starts strangling her. Too much time slowly ticks away but finally Franco is there and he yanks Dimi off his daughter!!! He puts him in a strangle hold, which might be the smartest thing to do but I want to watch him kick his ass not calmly put him to sleep!!! Oh, here’s the hitting! And he beats him to a pulp!! Gaby looks like she’s doubting her eyes as she suddenly sees her dad in front of her in the middle of her worse nightmare. Franco keeps hitting and Gonzo and Irene have come to the doorway and are witnessing this. Franco doesn’t even pause and just lands one punch after another after another until Gaby finally says ‘Papa’ and this pulls him from his rage. He gets up immediately and looks to his daughter and says ‘Perdon’ (for some strange reason) he puts his hands up as if the prove he is unoffensive and he slowly walks over to her repeating ‘Perdon’ a couple more times. Gaby is too shocked to say or do anything and after what feels like a full minute of him very cautiously and slowly approaching her, he finally takes Gaby in his arms and hugs her tightly!

Season 2 Episode 65 –Monday – Part 2 of 5

Gunter and Samuel are drinking and talking about Rosi again, or still or something… It’s the same conversation. Blah blah blah. The only ‘interesting’ thing here is them discussing JD and deciding whether or not JD is even worth Sam’s time and trouble. Gunter is surprisingly honest and fair in telling Sam that whatever happened between him and Rosi was more Rosi’s doing than JD’s, and JD was never in love with Rosi. Sam is leaning toward ignoring JD’s existence entirely but he wants just a bit more information. Gunter tells him he has the perfect person to tell him all he needs to know and he already works for him – Adan! (I wonder what this disgruntled jackass is going to say?)

Back to Franco and Sara’s house, and Gaby now seems more worried about her dad than anything as she asks him to sit down, please. (I am wondering where Dimi is? Did the police come and take him??? I hope so) Franco wants to know if Gaby is okay and she says yes, she wants to know where her daddy has been.

Jimena walks slowly into the guest room and finds Oscar is still sleeping, she walks just as gingerly out….

Dimi is still on the floor motionless!!! He looks bad, did Franco literally beat him to death?? I hope so. Nope, he’s alive – damn. The employees are talking about how he looks horrible and Gonzo says he deserved it but Franco lost control and that could mean problems. Gonzo calls Sara to ask her what to do.

Speaking of, Sara and Gaby are in Jimena’s living room talking with her about the newest Dimi developments. Jimena tells them Oscar is finally sleeping after being awake for two days worrying about Duvan. Sara starts the conversation by admitting she and Gabs were wrong about Dimi and Jimena and Gaby were right. She tells her Sibila is probably right about Nino’s death. They tell her about the painting and Dominga. Jimena wants to go to the police immediately and the women agree but they were waiting for Oscar and Jimena to go with them and they think Gaby and Sibila need to report him too. Jimena is saying of course, let’s go, with that Sara’s phone rings. It’s Gonzo, of course, and he tells her Dimi attacked Gaby and tried to rape her!! He tells her there’s more but he can’t tell her over the phone and she needs to come immediately! (Stupid man didn’t even tell her Gaby was okay!!!) Sara hangs up screaming out her frustration and of course Gabs and Jimena are alarmed. Sara doesn’t even stop to tell them what all happened just sort of rattles off Dimi attacked the house as she speeds out of the house and Gabs follows after her. Jimena wants to go but her mom tells her to stay here and protect Sibila. Jimena declares she is going to call the cops which might be a good/bad thing because I get the impression Gonzo hasn’t yet because he’s worried about Franco getting in trouble.

Back to Gaby and Franco, Irene has brought a bowl of water and a rag and it looks like Gaby is planning to clean Franco’s hands. Father is concerned with daughter and daughter is worried about Father. Franco wants to know where Sarita and Andres are and Gaby says Sara will be there soon and Andres lives in San Marcos with his boyfriend. Franco is alarmed to hear that Dimi, the man who attacked and tried to kill his daughter, is a friend of Sara and Gabs. Gaby says they didn’t know him well. Gaby wants to know where Franco has been and she asks again, but Franco wants to know what the hell has been going on in this house!! Gaby is holding back tears as she tells her father it’s better that he rests she will tell him later. (WTH is wrong with these people?? Just tell your dad what is going on! He beat a man nearly to death he can handle a conversation)

Sara and Gabs driving and Sara is beside herself while Gabs is oddly calm. Sara is about to lose it really but Gabs orders her to calm down if they get in an accident, they will never see Gaby!!

Season 2 Episode 65 –Monday – Part 3 of 5

We interrupt all the interesting stuff to bring you a conversation between Sam and Adan. Adan talks up how well trusted and respected he was at the ranch; he knows the Reyes like the palm of his hand. He first claims he left the ranch for a personal reasons, but Sam rejects that lie immediately and says he wants the truth. Adan claims he left because Juan is a very jealous man who got the wrong idea about him and his wife. Sam accepts this. He asks about the Reyes sons and Adan says they are good men, educated, well-mannered; well, the twins are trouble everyone knows that! Sam makes sure Adan knows exactly who he is and he does. He wants to know about his wife’s trips to the hacienda and Adan offers to tell him everything, for a price!

Sara arrives and Irene goes to meet her. She tries to get her to calm down and let her tell her what’s going on but Sara isn’t stopping for anything and runs inside to get to Gaby. Gabs hangs back long enough to be assured the danger is over and Gaby is fine but Sara really should have waited… she has no idea who’s back! Gabs asks who’s back, and Irene braces herself to answer but we don’t hear it. Next, Sara is in the hallway yelling for Gaby and Gonzo tries to stop her. He tells her not to go in but of course is unable to stop her. I thought he was trying to warn her about Franco, but he was trying to stop her from seeing Dimi like that. Sara is shocked by the sight of Dimi and asks what happened to him. Gonzo tells her someone punished him for what he did. She asks where Gaby is and he says in her room, once again she’s out the door faster than he can say a word. Gonzo just follows.

Sara bursts into the room calling for Gaby, and is shocked again to find her (ex)husband hugging their daughter close, tears streaming down both their faces. Franco slowly turns to Sara at the sound of her voice and she is all but paralyzed with shock for a second! They each move in small motions not so much to each other but around each other. (it’s very emotional and well done but I am nearly certain she’s going to slap him as soon as this commercial break is over!)

She doesn’t! She instead grabs his hands and brings them to her face. She puts her hands to his and just brokenly asks ‘What happened?’ Franco is at a loss and he tells his (ex) wife that it won’t be easy but he’s here, he’s back and he needs time. He steps out of her embrace. She puts her hands to her face. Franco leaves the room and Gaby too is crying. Sara is crying and seems lost for a moment, but then goes to Gaby and begs her to tell her that Dimi didn’t hurt her. Left alone with mama, we finally see and hear the effects of Gaby’s trauma surface as she tells her mom what happened. She reveals how shocking and unsettling it was to see her dad beat a man nearly to death. Sara is so sorry; she is so sorry she didn’t believe Gaby and Gaby says no one believed her but it was happening! She says Dimi murdered Nino because of her!!! (Poor girl) Sara tells her Dimi also tried to kill Dominga and Sibila and who knows how many more! Sara feels like it’s her fault and begs her daughter to forgive her. Gaby wants to know how Sara feels now that her dad is back?!? (This is odd, it’s a natural thing for a child to wonder but in the middle of all this???) Sara says she feels the same as always!!! Both ladies wonder where he’s been? What happened to him? What’s going on? They don’t understand…

Season 2 Episode 65 –Monday – Part 4 of 5

Someone must have told Andres, because we go to Bar Alcala where he’s telling Muriel he has so many mixed emotions. Andres is drinking which we haven’t seen much. He is crying and talking about how he didn’t know if he would see his dad again and now, he’s here. Muriel mentions he never talked much about his dad and she thought he didn’t care about him but Andres assures her it’s the opposite. I thought this whole scene was odd because it was 100% about Franco and no worry expressed for Gaby but apparently Gaby just told Andres that Franco was home and not much more than a vague comment about ‘something’ happening with Demetrio. Andres has talked through his mixed feelings and decides he has to go see his dad NOW! He has to know what happened. Muriel asks him to calm down and tries to offer to drive him but before that can happen Rosi enters wondering what’s wrong and Andres gives her the news that his dad has shown up!! Rosi looks a little impacted by the news that her first love is back in town. Andres didn’t need to tell her, but I get it, he’s overwhelmed.

Rosi is just like ‘ Franco is here’ and Andres says yes, he’s at home with my mom. Andres is sure she’ll understand, he has to go see him! Rosi says yes, of course.

Juan and JD have arrived at Sara’s and they don’t know yet what happened but it doesn’t look good. They just hope it isn’t Franco on the stretcher!! They ask Gonzo what’s going on and he tells them it’s Dimi. They confirm Franco is inside. Juan and JD approach the house but the police won’t let them in!! They say it’s their family’s house but the guards have their orders: No one enters until the Chief says so! Gonzo says let them go check on their family members but nothing doing. JD goes over to the car where Gabs is to try to get her to come and handle this!!! (LOL) Gabs isn’t willing to go though because she can’t face Franco!!! Gaby got hurt and it’s all her fault and Franco will hate her!!!! (Am I the only one shocked that she’s worried about what Franco will think after all this time bad mouthing him for abandoning her daughter and grandkids?) JD tells her it wasn’t her fault and convinces her to come after all. They head to the door but the Chief arrives to give Juan permission to enter even before Gabs can walk over and save the day.

The cops try to stop JD and Gabs next but Gabs orders them to lower their hands, and they do!!! The Chief indicates they can let them enter. Juan asks Irene where everyone is and she says in Sara’s room. He books it up the stairs. He bursts in and finds Sara asking where Franco is. (I am wonder too if Juan knows what happened to Gaby because he doesn’t ask for her) Sara says he’s here but they want to take him. Franco comes around the corner looking a little shell shocked and Juan advises his brother to be calm. He’s safe, he has no reason to be afraid. You’re with your family, he says, and kisses Sarita’s hand for emphases. He tells him he didn’t pull him out of hell to let him go back. (I don’t see why they would take him; it was self-daughter defense! Maybe a little aggressive but under the circumstances and with all the witnesses and the uncovered evidence of how dangerous Dimi was I think it should be okay)

Rosi is nervously drinking, and Muriel looks downright amused wondering what mommy is going to do now that she knows Franco is back! Rosi claims there’s nothing to do – this doesn’t affect her life! Muriel next asks about dad but Rosi doesn’t want to talk about it. She warns her daughter to be ready for when it’s her turn to confront daddy.

Season 2 Episode 65 –Monday – Part 5 of 5

JD and Juan are trying to convince the police that Franco did nothing wrong and I guess they do know the whole story because they are telling them it was self-defense. Franco isn’t a criminal; Dimi is and Franco simply defended his daughter! The chief feels like what he did went beyond defense, he practically killed the man! Juan says any honorable man would have done the same, he asks what the chief would have done in his shoes and the man looks down and away.

Franco, Sara and Gaby are hauled up in Sara’s room wondering what’s going on and asking Irene for updates. Irene tells them there is a heavy argument going on downstairs which Franco interprets as danger and he tries to storm downstairs to help but Gaby and Sara stop him. Sara grabs his face and begs him to listen to her and look at her.

Sara must have calmed him because she’s downstairs herself now begging the chief to leave Franco alone. He’s not in any condition to deal with this. All he did was defend his daughter. The Chief repeats what he’s said about the investigation deciding that, but this time the family starts listing all the other crimes Demetrio is guilty of and who all can testify to each. Juan suggests the police go and arrest the real criminals and leave his brother alone. Sara begs him to keep protecting the region like he’s always done and go after Demetrio Jurado. The man says nothing but he did send Matis to Dominga’s room trying to question her.
Dominga doesn’t look well but better than expected all things considered. Matis asks about the attack and unlike Berta, Dominga remembers exactly what happened and is able to tell Matis in detail what happened when Dimi attacked. Dominga gets really worked up and the nurse comes to shoo Matis out. Matis assures Dominga she’s said enough and he tells her to rest. There was one part of the retelling where Dominga mentions she tried to hit Dimi first, and I can only hope that detail isn’t enough for these crazy cops to suggest Dominga was the aggressor!!!

Andres hasn’t left yet after all and Albin is there to support him. Andres is nervous because he hasn’t seen his father in so long and Albin thinks if he isn’t ready yet then they don’t have to go see him yet. Andres says no, I have to find out what happened; something happened with Gaby and Dimi too and I don’t know what I need to go, I need to find out. Albin tells him to calm down first before they go anywhere.

Franco apparently wasn’t calm after all as he is now hyperventilating on the bed. Norma (who I didn’t even realize was there) and Gaby are trying to calm him while Sara is downstairs calling Juan begging him to tell her he’s found the doctor and is on his way! Norma keeps trying to talk to Franco and it doesn’t appear to be registering but he does finally look directly at her so maybe…

We’ll find out tomorrow because that is all for today!

they really cut the episode :( but i hope that the entire episode will be uploaded to netflix

amor-val

Thanks, Fevered Up, for posting your impressions of Amor Valiente. I too watched the episode. Cesar, the galan, is quite good-looking (thank goodness we're done with "angry bangs" Miran). However, the woman who plays Sühan bothered me. She seemed very unconvincing in expressing her fright when the horse got out of control. I was also bothered by her hair--not the style but the extremely black, shiny color. It may be her real hair color, but it looked dyed and artificial. As for the plot, the baddies were very easy to spot--Sühan's father, for one, and his daughter-in-law. Also easy to spot was what seems to be the dizi's main theme: venganza y amor. Gee, where have I seen that before?

I guess I'll continue to watch for a while, but I hope Telemundo will offer us something more inteesting soon.

amor-val

Hi Anonymous at 2:58 pm. I also watched this new dizi and had to keep the CC's on to understand even the Spanish and all the names. The countryside is beautiful and the rancho was much more modern looking than what I saw during Hercai. Sounds like a typical storyline, guy saves girl, girl hates guy but secretly dreams about him. Guy hates her father and is after venganza, girl has a stupid brother and loves horses, stupid brother's wife hates girl and tried to kill her in the first episode.

There, I think I just recapped the first episode! I hope a few more of us are watching, I might consider recapping again if we have a few commenters and recappers.

amor-val

I watched last night. Thanks Fevered Up for your comment. Yes, this one does have an old-timey feel with the rich family.

So the beginning seemed like Hercai where there’s a guy in a car (I should say a Jeep) and a woman on a horse. In this case the horse was a runaway. We see a woman that we later find is her sister-in-law watching from the bushes. Without any words, we grasp that she’s somehow responsible for the runaway horse. The rider is Suhan

The galán, Cesur, drives his Jeep close to the horse, Timida, and manages to keep the horse from running off a cliff. At first I was thinking the woman needed some riding lessons from Reyyan, but we find out that someone, probably the SIL, put a sharp, twisted piece of metal under the horse’s saddle. Cesur leaps from the Jeep and they both fall off the horse, only a little bruised. There’s the stereotypical moment, common in both novelas in Spanish and Turkish, where the two protagonists meet for the first time and look at each other, immediately feeling something. For some reason Cesur ends up with the horse.

Typical tensions in a rich family we’ve seen in other Turkish novelas. The rich patriarch is named Tahsin Korludag. His son is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. There’s a lot of pressure on this son to produce an heir to the family. So far, no baby. We don’t know how long this son and the evil SIL have been married.

Suhan is engaged to a sort of cardboard cutout boyfriend. We don’t see any passion there. And there’s another woman there, some sort of household staff, who seems to be admiring him.

Tahsin has a mistress that we see get off the private jet a bit later than he does. Later we see he’s really into her, but she wants to keep it secret. She seems to be a nice person.

In the car leaving the airport Tahsin’s son proudly tells him he sold off a piece of useless land. There’s some conversation about their money coming from producing olive oil. The old goat is furious because he planned to build a hotel on the non-productive land. His son vows to buy it back.

It turns out that the land was purchased by Cesur and is part of his plan to avenge himself on Tahsin.

I’m not bothering much with putting in all the names because this isn’t really a recap. I’ll watch but I’m reluctant to commit to a recapping night.

Now I normally don't condone violence but when Franco was beating up Dimi I just cheered like a proud mama at a soccer game!!! Yess!!! finally somebody kicked that nut case's behind. Idk if I'm the only one who cried at the Franco-Sarita reunion scene...I bet my fellow Caray mates shed one or two tears...what a scene.

Gabriela feeling guilty and afraid of Franco's reaction sent me...how many times will she continue to pit her family in danger by bringing in dangerous people into her inner circle. I hope she doesn't repeat this again in the future.

Pasion

Thanks so much, Darcy, for the very thorough recap. That was an exciting episode. When they showed Dimi choking Gaby, I wondered if that was what he did with the other victims, perhaps rape them after they died. Yuck! I knew Franco would save her.

Michel is doing a great job portraying PTSD. Didn't they show him beating someone up when he was in that prison where the prisoners were working breaking rocks or some such?

Sarita and Gabriela haven't eaten quite enough crow to suit me for exposing Gaby to a monster.

I never saw the part where Adán worked for Juan and Norma. Was he really the trusted right-hand man he portrayed to Samuel?

I can't stand any scenes with Gunter in them. He turned my stomach when I was watching at the beginning, before Rosario finished transforming the space into the current fancy bar. He's just a snake. I wish they'd just dispense with Samuel and Gunter and focus on the Reyes family.

From what I understand none of the second-generation young people were in Season 1 of this novela, for obvious reasons. But did it seem that Franco may know his son is gay, even though Season 2 begins without him. He didn't turn a hair at Gaby saying Andrés lives with his boyfriend.

amor-val

Nice to see some comments. As I’ve said before, I’ve seen this. If there’s enough interest, I might watch again or even recap on a Friday. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to speculate with you.

I do hope they keep the original soundtrack. They kept the original opening song, Kryptonite, by 3 Doors Down. But they do have a Spanish theme song. We’ll see.

lol, between all the comments, I think we have the basics on the first ep.

Yep, amor y venganza and it starts with a horse and a motor vehicle, just like the show that won’t be named here. But this one came first. And least this is only 32 Turkish eps instead of an unbearable 69.

And guess what, Bad Toupee is in this show but in the later eps, IIRC.

Pasión

Novelera,

They showed an episode a few weeks ago where Dimi fantasized about choking Sarita so I am going to guess that you are exactly right about his operating style.

I can more easily forgive Sarita because she was lonely and stupid and just sort of stumbled along and let her mom talk her into accepting Dimi. Whereas Gabriela was treating Demetrio like he was the second coming and fangirling all over him which was ridiculous and crazy - especially since it's not even the first time she alienated her family in defense of a psychopath! She did that in season 1 too. I swear I wouldn't trust my judgement at all if I was her. I would be like 'oh no I like him, careful he's probably Satan!'

They did show a scene with Franco beating someone in prison but it was a dream Juan was having so unless Juan is in touch enough with his brother to dream what he was really experiencing it didn't actually happen. I agree though Michel is giving an excellent performance!!!

Adan really was the foreman I believe, but I didn't see anything to indicate he was considered especially close to Juan. He was creepily fixated on Norma.

Technically JD was in season 1 but as a baby. I think the show ended before he was much older than 1. Norma indicated to Franco the other day though, that Andres was in a relationship with a man so Gaby's information wouldn't have been the first news he got just the additional they live together news. Franco may have already known even if he didn't 'know' because he knows his son. Sarita wasn't surprised at all when Andres 'told' her....a parent knows their child. I did notice the lack of reaction too though.

"PASION 2":

Maame: I do NOT have any confidence in Gaby because she keeps bringing crazy evil psychos into her orbit & putting her own family in danger in the process.

Don't get me started with Jimena OMG.

Fantastic recap, Darcy!

I'm very glad Gabriela FINALLY woke up. Her supporting Demetrio so much was extremely annoying.

Adán was probably lying, I also don't remember him being close to Juan. But, honestly, what can we expect from Adán?

Poor Gaby! I knew this was going to happen at some point, but I was hoping I was wrong! At least Franco came in before it was too late!

I'll be back with last night's recap!

PASION

Quick thank you to Darcy for the amazing recap of the very emotional episode that aired Monday night. I was bawling my eyes out when Sarita and Franco met, but what really stood out for me was Gaby's reaction - the actress was outstanding, I could really feel a daughter's pain, love, happiness, emotional turmoil.

Won't comment more until Weirdo is able to post his recap of last night's episode - oh, so many things to say!!

Pasion

Lol, ("until Weirdo posts his recap") probably a typo, Adriana, but I'm a woman.

Pasion
Pasión de Gavilanes, Temporada 2, Capítulo 66, Martes, May 24, 2022 - Parte 1/4

Franco is now ok. Gaby and Sarita are with him. A doctor is also there and is examining him. Franco looks as if he's asleep. The doctor says that it's probably an emotional thing and Gaby asks him what to do if he has another attack, the doctor says they're going to do more tests. He then asks them if Franco will stay here and Sarita tells him that he is going to stay here, it's his house as well.

Andrés and Albín have arrived. Andrés asks if he can see his dad, Juan says of course. Andrés goes upstairs quickly, while Albín stays back with Juan.

Andrés sees his dad, who is still sleeping. Sarita tells him what happened and that he's fine. Andrés grabs Franco's hand and says "Papá". Everyone is crying (obviously except Franco).

Rosi asks Muriel about Andrés and Muriel says that she doesn't know much, but his dad came back and everything. Rosi pretends to be asking because, how are they going to do the show without Andrés? Muriel tells her that everything is going to be fine, with a face that screams "I know the true reason why you're asking". Rosi asks her what is Muriel going to do about Sam if he starts saying his usual stuff (I'm trying to recall this from memory, I might be wrong here) and Muriel says that she can only promise that she's not going to let him hurt them.

Andrés is still with Franco. Franco wakes up while Andrés explains to him what's going on, where he is e.t.c. Andrés asked Franco "you can't remember?" but I think he remembered afterwards? I don't know, I'm still confused. Andrés puts his head on his dad's chest and Franco touches Andrés head. (I mention it because it was cute.)

Romina decides to pretend to be a mother today and goes to the hospital to see Duván. The hospital staff don't let her and she starts screaming. A security guy grabs her and gets her to the doctor's office (the doctor that Óscar talked to on Friday's episode).

There's also a cop with the doctor and he starts questioning her about the poison. Romina says that they didn't find anything at her house and the cop agrees, but they DID find a bottle that's the exact same as the one with the poison. Romina immediately tells him that there are thousands of bottles that are identical. Yes, but they have the same letter on the bottom, so from the same series. Now Romina starts playing the victim and says that it's all Óscar's fault, starts screaming again and faints!!!

Pasion
Pasión de Gavilanes, Temporada 2, Capítulo 66, Martes, May 24, 2022 - Parte 2/4

Adán is with Sam and is telling him about the Reyes. Sam says that they have a lot of money and asks about Rosi. Adán tells him about the first time Rosi went (when the twins grabbed her at the stables and it wasn't looking good), that the twins abused Rosi (honestly, what there they thinking? Okay, they didn't do anything serious to her, but still) and that Juan defended them. That idiot also says that the twins killed a professor! Sam asks him if this is proven and Adán responds with "well, you know how justice is" (the first and only time I agree with Adán). When Sam asks about JD, Adán starts lying, saying that he thinks he's superior and can't be trusted. Sam says something about JD and Rosi.

Franco is sitting on a bench at his house, looking depressed. Sarita approaches and sits with him. Franco says that he should have stayed in prison [if Franco was still in prison, the Caray Caray recappers and commenters would have personally went to Qatar (this is where he was, right?) and start beating the prison guards to death until they released him, LOL!] and Sarita's response is that "you paid"??? For what, being innocent? Franco tells her that he didn't just lose money, he lost her and his kids. Sarita isn't mad at him and that makes Franco mad, he grabs her by her face and tells her to let out all this hatred that she has. Instead, she kisses his hand (Franco's expression though). She says that she thought he'd never come back, that she thought she left her for another woman and if he just called her, she would have supported him! (Finally, this was said!) Franco and Sara tell each other they love them and then kiss.

Romina woke up. She's on a hospital bed. She says that this time she only fainted, next time she's going to die! The doctor tells her that it's going to be because of her character! Romina whines about Óscar again and the doctor manages to make her shut up when he says that she's pregnant! Poor Jimena, who adores children, can't have any and Romina, who is an awful woman/mother, gets ANOTHER ONE? WHY? To traumatize 2 kids instead of 1?

The police have received some sort of report about Dimi. They FINALLY realize that he's the serial killer and rapist and FINALLY decide to have a serious operation to capture him. They say it should be done subtly, carefully and discreetly, because Demetrio Jurado is clever.

Pasion
Pasión de Gavilanes, Temporada 2, Capítulo 66, Martes, May 24, 2022 - Parte 3/4

Norma, Jimena, Juan and Óscar are talking about the situation with Dimi. Nothing new here, they say that they need to protect everyone and to increase the security e.t.c.

Dimi's crony, the Motorcycle Helmet Boy (MHB for short, at least temporarily) and the rest of Dimi's minions are stealing paintings. The cops come and start yelling to them the usual cop stuff. Because, as everybody knows, yelling is the best way to be subtle, careful and discreet. Anyway, shots are fired and the minions give up. MHB is caught by a cop.

Happy music plays for some weird reason. Sarita and Norma are talking about Franco. Sarita says that he's not well emotionally and mentally and Norma suggests getting a psychologist to check him (team Norma all the way. PTSD is difficult and a professional would surely help.) Sarita is confused, she doesn't know what to do. Gonzalo comes and tells them the good news: Dimi's minions, (including MHB) have been arrested! How did he know so soon though? Anyway, the two sisters are very happy with the news.

Romina went to Madrina's (I missed her!) Madrina doesn't want anything to do with Romina, but Romina kind of ignores that bit and says she wants to get rid of the problem. Madrina immediately understands that it's about an abortion and refuses, because these practices are dangerous, she says she told her that last time!!! How many abortions has Romina had?! Romina starts threatening Madrina, saying that she'll tell the cops about all the times she's performed abortions to her. Again, how many abortions has Romina had?! Madrina doesn't care and orders her out of her house.

Érick arrived at Jimena's and Óscar's with a bouquet of flowers. After he gives them to Bertha, he goes to Óscar and they talk. Nothing interesting here, we only learn that it's going to take a while for the cops to catch Dimi (useless cops, can't do anything properly) and that Duván continues to recover and get better.

Pasion
Pasión de Gavilanes, Temporada 2, Capítulo 66, Martes, May 24, 2022 - Parte 4/4

Sarita basically says the same stuff
she said to Norma to Irene, who tells her that she should be patient and give Franco some time. Sara goes upstairs to see Franco, who everyone assumes is asleep. He's not actually asleep, but in the bathroom, shirtless (so we all know what's going to follow). Sarita helps him shave while the intro song plays (lol that was so random) and they start kissing. Sara yeets the electric shaving-thing somewhere (LOL) and they start kissing more passionately.

Now they're at the bedroom, doing what we expected them to do, with the intro song STILL playing.

Érick is talking with Sebila. He's very sweet and tells her that he knows how uncomfortable it is to be questioned by the police and that she has him and his family, they'll take care of her, he'll take care of her. He wipes a tear off Sebila's face. We see Romina in the background, like an awkward third wheel. Sebila and Érick almost kiss, but Romina is here to ruin the day. She throws a rock(???) and they both turn and see her while she's laughing (she's officially lost it). Romina leaves and Érick runs after her.

Bertha tells Jimena, who's with super cute Gastón, about Romina. Jimena says that nobody must leave.

Érick catches Romina.

Sam is talking about Rosi and JD blah blah blah. Adán says that he doesn't know about Rosario, what he does know is that Juan Reyes isn't the caballero people think he is. He says that he's abusing Norma(!!!) Sam is like "Qué?!" and Adán mumbles something that I don't understand, but had something to do with Juan.

And we have the Fin del Capítulo.

PASION

Thank you, LADY Weirdo (lol, it was indeed a typo when I made you a man), for your insightful retelling of a pretty emotional episode.
ITA that the Caray gang would have dragged Franco out of that jail if it took him any longer to be free.

Sara's reaction to Franco's return was ...different from what I expected. I think we all thought that she'd give him Hell for being gone for so long, but how can she? He's a broken man, this is no time for pointing fingers and being jealous. Besides she still lives him, having him back and with a pretty serious medical condition kind of makes her forget why she was upset in the first place.

And that love scene!!! Those hungry kisses! Very believable, and very well acted.

I know that other things have happened, but we spent the entire novela talking about Dimi, Romi and the other nutty people of San Marcos, now I only care about Franco.

Some things are obvious and others not so much. It's obvious that Cahide, the SIL, is a perra, but we can give her a teensy-weensy break because of the pressure she's under from her FIL to produce a kid. I've seen an evil woman drug the galán, get pregnant, suffer a miscarriage and wear a fake bump for the rest of the "pregnancy". I don't think I've seen a plot quite so devious. She's had the "surrogate" give her name when that woman was examined by a doctor. Not sure how this will go. Her dim-witted husband is never going to see her naked for the rest of the dizi?

I am unsure about Cesur's motives. He definitely wants revenge on Tahsin. What Juanita described on this page said that Tahsin murdered his father. OK...so classic Turkish revenge story. But I can't tell if Suhan is supposed to be part of his revenge, like the one we just saw that dondi says should not be mentioned. He didn't know who she was when he rescued her in the beginning. He found out. But I can't tell if he plans to court her as part of the revenge or if he's really attracted to her. Or maybe it's both.

It's clear Tahsin takes no prisoners. He fired the nice guy (stable worker?) for the runaway horse. He's beside himself because Cesur got the land he wanted for a hotel. I believe the lawyer his son, Korhan, used for the sale was somehow arrested for fraud. Seemed to me that he was framed by Tahsin because he had the temerity to say the sale could not be undone.

And now there's what looks like an injunction against Cesur doing anything on the land he bought and paid for.

Also, I believe Bülent, the lukewarm boyfriend of Suhan, is really after her because of Tahsin's money and/or power. And his mother hates Tahsin for some reason we don't know yet. She was delighted to see that Cesur bought the land next to hers.

Thank you Weirdo for your excellent and entertaining recap! During season 1 whenever any of the main couples had romantic moments it was the theme song that played so that's why they played the theme when Sara and Franco were getting reacquainted.

I was sort of disappointed with the Andres and Franco reunion kind of anticlimactic. Gaby and Sarita got emotional reunions and Andres got half awake and half aware....

Sarita and Franco together still sizzle!

I was confused why everyone was saying it would be so difficult to capture Dimi. Last we saw him he was beaten to a pulp and barely breathing, how hard could it be??? He's got to be in the hospital right?

Adan, Sam, Rosi yawn. Muriel looks like she's about to cackle half the time - I don't know what happened to that sweet girl we once met?!

I agree with Adriana about only caring about Franco but if this really is the 'Semana Final' someone has got to ask: who killed Prof Carreño? Remember him???

Pasion

Thanks so much, Weirdo. Not surprised you're female. Long, long ago on Uni we had a favorite male recpper, Hombre de Misterio. I believe there is also a male there now doing recaps, but I haven't been a regular on the Uni pages for some years now. This is to say that it's women pulling the weight here on Caray!

I echo your thoughts, Darcy. When watching last night I had a "Huh?" moment when they talked about capturing Dimi. Yes, the last we saw of him was with, I think, a weak pulse being loaded into an ambulance. They're probably going with his coming back for revenge to scare us (NOT) that he'll murder a main character.

I agree! Enough with the Sam and Adán scenes. Sergio Goyri is a fine actor and a terrific villain. But he's wasted in this role as Sam.

ITA about enjoying the very hot scene with Sarita and Franco. As I've mentioned, I'm also watching Michel in Pálpito on Netflix, and he shines as a passionate lover. The interesting thing about Pálpito is that his real life wife dies in the first episode. She's played by Margarita Muñoz.

Great recap Weirdo, and like Adriana, I’m all in where Franco’s concerned, and really not into all the other stuff going on, lol. Don’t get me wrong, I do want to see all these plot lines come to fruition, but Franco is where just about all my attention lies. I do think that Erick and Sibila are cute too. It’s so nice to see this kind and gentler Erick, but somehow, because of who his parents are, I always hoped he was in there somewhere..

It’s sad indeed that Romina is pregnant….I wonder if it’s Adan’s? Sick to death of her! It would be so nice if she tripped on a rock, hit her head and woke up with permanent amnesia and became a good person to boot! Better yet if she just wanders off, never to return, lol.

If Sam believes anything Adan says, then he’s definitely not a good judge of character. Wouldn’t it make more sense to go to his former employers and get the skinny on him?!?!? But then, he lets Gunter hang around so I guess he’s not interested in people with some integrity. He just wants to get all the info that he can on Rosario. Wonder if he ever tried simply being a loving husband——-nahhhhh, that might work!

Did it sound like the cops released Demetrio or something? If they have all the proof they need against him, then what’s the problem? Just lock his you know what up!

Thanks again Weirdo. Now that Franco’s back, I’m sorry this novela is about to end……

Amor-Val

Thank you novelera! I just started watching, and am not quite familiar with things. The beginning definitely gave off the last dizi’s vibes, or is that vice-versa since this one came first, lol. The female lead is very pretty with great legs, and I saw the galan in another Turkish novela where he was a cad to the heroine even though she was wrong for cheating on her husband with him. I forget the name, but I think Telemundo made a remake with JenCarlos Canela. Wonder what ever happened to him? Hmmmm.

Sorry I digress, but the mean people in this dizi are truly mean, like the patriarch and his son’s wife. There are other characters that I’m very intrigued with, and looking forward to finding out exactly what their deal is. I’ll give this one a go. I’m sorry that I’m not able to recap, plus I’ve never recapped anything, lol. My work schedule is not a set one, and there are times that I have 3-4 day stretches. Either way, I will just comment when I can, and see what happens.

Thanks again novelera!

I can’t answer some stuff, novelera.

Bulent said to his mom, Mihriban, “you are still acting like that girl he left at the altar”.

The lawyer, Ragip, wasn’t framed by Tahsin. Tahsin had helped cover up something he did. He turned him in when he didn’t help. Not too important but it's more proof that Tahsin is a bastard.

Since Tahsin owns everything and everyone in the town, he was able to get that injunction.

Carmella, Kıvanç was in the blockbuster dizi Aşk-ı Memnu/Forbidden Love. This also starred the actress from Fatmagül, Beren Saat. Telemundo did a remake with Jencarlos Canela and Monica Spear, Pasión Prohibida. I saw that. They pretty much stuck with the original storyline. I only skipped around the original since I saw the remake first. Jencarlos had something on Netflix a couple of years ago. No idea what he’s doing now.

Last nite was so everything good in a Telenovela..the villains are bigger than life figuratively not literally as villain Jr is a pretty tiny guy with a tricked out black mustang that he points at Cesur's big truck while giggling with crazy eyes? In what world would that accept have worked out in jr's favor.

Yeah I was wondering about evil Cahide and the fake kid..We've all seen the fake baby bump; used when some dude is not banging the faker..but jeez she is sleeping with the guy.

Also ever evil head honcho is on an inhaler. So how long before he is caught without it? I wonder if he has COPD from breathing sulfur while doing Satan's work? Just saying.

Yeah I forecast a hate turns to love.. between Suhan and Cesur.

There maybe some mental illness lurking this group.

Erick & Sebila as a potential couple ? We'll find out soon enough.

Carmella: I did enjoy watching Sara & Franco getting their freak on. Let's see if he gets some Dr. Phil help for the PTSD because he might go off any moment.

Darcy: I just cannot warm up to Jimena for some reason.

Many thanks, novelera, for keeping the discussion going.

The brief synopses I read in order to put up this week's Telemundo y Más pages weren't clear about whether Tahsin killed Cesur's father. Some (possibly including Telemundo's website) simply referred to Tahsin as Cesur's father's murderer. Others, however, said that Cesur believed Tahsin to be his father's murderer. So in the very brief synopsis I put up, I had it both ways. I said Cesur "had a plan to take revenge on Tahsin Korludag, the murderer of his father." But a few sentences later, I said that Sühan was "the beautiful daughter of the man who he believes killed his father." My guess is that the second statement may turn out to be the right one, though Tahsin is so an SOB that he might indeed be the murderer.

Like you and others who have commented, I scratched my head wondering how the DIL is going to manage to keep her non-pregnancy a secret for 9 months, given that she and her husband presumably share a bed and a bedroom. Perhaps she'll insist that for the safety of the baby-to-be, hubby must sleep in another bed in another room. I guess we'll see.

I liked the second episode somewhat better than the first. I was afraid that Amor Valiente was going to be very much like the-dizi-that-must-not-be-mentioned, but in the second episode, it seemed clear that Sühan was a much stronger, more accomplished woman than Reyyan, especially Reyyan at the start. Sühan apparently is the jefa of a business, though whether that's just another of daddy's many enterprises isn't clear. But she seems to be able to stand up for herself in a way that Reyyan for most of Unmentionable Dizi could not.

PASION Wednesday, Part 1 of 3

Muriel finishes dancing with her group and then she and Andres chat about his father. Andres confirms to Muriel that Dimi is an assassin and is now in jail, and hopefully he will be locked up for a long time. Gaby is doing fine, she’s a fighter, that guy harassed her for so many months and she never caved. Muriel admires Franco, too, but Andres is worried about his health. Muriel would like to know Franco and be there for the family, especially JD, she misses him so much. Andres understands the situation hasn’t been easy on her, either.

A ranch hand with a rifle convinces Eric to let go of Romina, before he chokes her. Romina threatens them with a pocketknife and then runs away.

Dimi’s team is taken to jail while people from town scream at them. Gaby is looking at Roman, in horror. Rosario is also watching from the window, telling Muriel that Sam is right in saying she is not safe in San Marcos. She was born here , so she is used to this type of people. Muriel thinks this is just an excuse to keep her away from JD. Panchita arrives to tell them that the people who were arrested were part of Dimi’s band. She never trusted him! Muriel leaves to rest.

Oscar is upset when he finds out about the latest on Romina. Jimena is fed up, too, realizes there is no reasoning with her. And Oscar is tired of playing nice for Duvan’s sake. Jimena is with him against the crazy woman and Oscar is thankful for it. He plans to go talk to the cops and if they can’t do anything, again, then he will take care of things once and for all. Also, he plans to bring Duvan to the house.

Romina is on the phone, trying to find an abortion clinic – or whatever place does that type of things in town. She’s in a hurry, too, she can’t wait too much. At the same time Duvan wakes up in his hospital bed and calls for his mom. The nurse tries to reassure him.

Muriel and JD have a video chat, JD thinks Sam is right and she needs to stay away for now. Muriel would like to be with them, but JD wants to meet Sam first. Muriel is afraid because her dad is a difficult man, but JD can’t wait any longer.

Gaby and Sarita talk about Gaby seeing Roman in town. She went there on purpose to see him, the guy used to work for Dimi. But she wasn’t scared, she was happy and relieved. Franco arrives, looking a lot better and is even up to have dinner with the girls. I guess sex with Sarita cured Franco’s PTSD. LOL! Sarita is all smiles, too.

JD has come to Sam’s ranch! The guard tells him the patron is busy now, but JD doesn’t mind waiting. And by that he means snooping around the house, trying to get in without being seen. He eventually sees Sam talk with Adan and leaves, looking terrified. Gunther sees him go and warns Adan who is about to leave to wait a bit, since someone saw him and is probably waiting for him outside.

Franco and Gaby talk about Dimi. Franco heard Gaby talk to Sarita and Gaby explains to her dad about Nino being killed – they were not going out, but there was a lot of love between them. Franco says the pain will go, she has to learn to let go of the resentment and rage, and it’s not healthy to hold onto all those bad feelings. It’s never OK to be happy with someone’s misfortune. Gaby listens and accepts her father’s advice – his calm demeanor and reassuring words did the trick – the guy must have been a great father before leaving and he hasn’t lost his touch.

PASION Wednesday, Part 2 of 3

It’s dark outside and JD is still waiting in front of Sam’s house and sees Adan go out.
In the house Gunther and Sam talk about JD’s arrival. They both think he has a lot of nerve coming, but what are his intentions? Gunther thinks he only wanted to take Sam by surprise. Sam says he will never give him the chance to meet, because his life is in danger already!

Muriel is dancing and singing and at the same time JD is fighting with some of Sam’s goons. He seems to be winning at first, but he’s outnumbered.
Sam is in his office when the men who hit JD come with news: they need help! And you can see why, because they are both pretty beaten up. Sam is furious they couldn’t go against ONE guy. The two men say he’s big and strong and Adan was the first to run. He was the one to suggest this, that bastard, maybe he did it on purpose knowing how strong JD was.

Muriel gets into her room when she notices JD, who had been hiding on the floor until now. He looks very bad, too, with blood all over his face and clothes. Muriel asks what happened. He says it was nothing, but Muriel is scared, so JD explains not all the blood is his – he went to see her father. He didn’t fight with HIM, but with the guys Sam sent for him. Muriel says “I told you so!” (Not the right time, girl! Also, did you tell him your daddy would want to kill him?) JD agrees they can’t trust Sam. Then what do they do? JD asks Muriel if she’d do anything for him.

Rosario is very happy with the show so far, it’s her turn to shine. She’s worried about Andres, who didn’t work tonight. But here he comes and Rosario wants to talk about switching some songs for tonight. Andres doesn’t agree, says they’d also need to change the lighting and dancing in order to do that. Panchita arrives frantic, saying she can’t find Muriel and Rosario goes for her. In the meantime Andres calls someone to ask how everything is going. Rosario finds Muriel’s room and closet empty.
She is furious, and nobody saw Muriel leave. She thinks her daughter went too far, Panchita thinks it’s normal that Muriel wouldn’t accept Sam’s manipulations. Rosario calls Andres, asking if he knew what happened. She suspect that Muriel might have talked to him, but Andres pretends to only care about the show. Rosario says she can’t go on the stage like this! Andres suggests Panchita take her place and Rosario agrees.

Rosario then calls Muriel, who is with JD. He thinks she should turn off her phone if she’s not answering. He’s having seconds thoughts about taking Muriel with him, there will be no turning back after that. But Muriel isn’t afraid of going against her father, she LOVES JD and he needs to trust her. She will always be with him and for him.

It’s morning and JD is telling his parents that he’s leaving. Norma asks what is going on and JD explains that he and Muriel have problems with Sam. Juan realizes the guy is against them, JD says he tried to talk to him, but realized he can’t trust him. Adan works for the man, too. This makes an impression on Juan.

Sam arrives to demand explanations from Rosario. He thinks she might have sent Muriel somewhere, but Rosario repeats that nobody saw her and they don’t know if she left alone or with someone else. Sam says he never went too far with Muriel until now, but he needs to know where she is. Rosario believes that she can only be with JD, so go search for her at the Reyes farm.

PASION Wednesday, Part 3 of 3

Romina leaves the house for the abortion place. She’s on the phone with the people who explain her how to get there. At the same time the doctor talks with Duvan, who had dreams about his mother. Premonitions I believe. The doc asks if he’d like to live with Oscar and Jimena and Duvan says yes, but he has to wait for his mom, he can’t leave her alone, it’s his mom. Poor kid.

Romina arrives for her “medical appointment”. A guy opens the door, asks for the money and all the other “stuff” they talked about. As she goes in, he looks around, the place is shaaaady!

Norma, with Leon by her side, tells Oscar they decided to intervene after all, because this is THEIR family, too. And the police never does anything. They need to confront Romina, so take some of their people and go after her. Oscar agrees and asks about Juan. Norma explains Juan is dealing with another problem and we see him with Eric at Sam’s ranch. The owner is gone and the guard says that Adan is not there, either. Juan would like to talk to someone close to Sam then.

Oscar, Leon and some other people with guns arrive at Romina’s house. When nobody opens the door, Oscar uses his keys and they get inside to an empty house. Oscar thinks it’s good they came, regardless, so Romina gets the message that they are not to be played with anymore.

Sam is at Juan’s ranch, searching for JD. Quintina says nobody is home, Sam insists, this is about his daughter. Quintina says his daughter is not around, either and she can’t allow anyone inside. Sam threatens her again, but Quintina has the farm hands’ protection, too.

Juan is taken to Gunther, who repeats that Sam is gone. They go inside and ask about Adan. Gunther pretends not to know him, Eric tells him they know he works there. They will search for him all over the house, if necessary, the guy’s a criminal. Gunther says he’ll call the cops, Juan encourages him to do just that. And pours himself a drink! Haha!

Quintina is still trying to stop Sam and his men from getting inside when Norma and Leon arrive. Leon asks Norma to stay in the car and goes to confront Sam. When a ranch hand says he is Juan’s son, Sam thinks Leon is JD, and proclaims he came to get his daughter back, since he kidnapped her. Leon doesn’t get it (or pretends not to get it), so Sam starts to get rough with him. Seeing that, Norma gets out of the car and shots her rifle in the air! “Don’t touch my son!”

Thank you Adriana! Excellent recap! Methinks it’s about time that the Reyes have decided to take matters into their own hands! The police have been inept at best, and it’s really ashamed that they have to be portrayed this way! It would’ve made for a much more interesting story had they continued the trail to both the Professor’s death and the hunt for a serial killer. Seems like Felix has dropped off the face of the earth too……..

Franco definitely must’ve been an awesome Dad! He appears to be the “naive” one, though, when it comes to business, and probably a bit too trusting of people. Sarita grew up handling business, and in spite of her coming to trust Demetrio, it did take her some time. Gaby got her great instincts from somewhere!

Samuel needs to get a grip and not be such a control freak! I’m so glad JD beat the crap outta those guys before they got the best of him! And I’m also glad he put everyone on alert regarding Adan. Juan is not going to let this go, and he’s the right one to deal with both Sam and Adan—- and that darn Gunter! Somebody needs to give it to him good too! Bitch slap him! Loved Juan pouring himself a drink! Norma ain’t taking no prisoners either! Go Norma!

Things ain’t looking good for Romina either. Poor Duvan! He loves her and, even at this age, understands that she is all alone and that he’s all she got. I feel bad for him. He’s a good boy and looks out for her even if she doesn’t deserve it. Romina is too reckless and something bad was bound to happen to her sooner or later…….

Excellent recap, Adriana!

Steve, to answer your question, I don't think we ever saw Sebila's parents. I might be wrong, but there wasn't that much information on Sebila's past. Darcy or Adriana may know better, since I only quickly read the first recaps (I joined later on).

Yes! Go Norma! I'm also glad the Reyes family is doing something too, Carmella. I hope we uncover who killed the professor at the Gran Final!

I forgot to put the Pasion tag on top of my previous comment.

Thank you Adriana for your fabolous recap! Everyone went to visit someone who wasn't home! Lol interesting....

It makes no sense to me that Sam would attack JD for simply coming to see him or take it as aggression or a threat?? But people are weird ..

I want to see Norma get Sam to back down, I hope that happens tonight! I guess Sam really wasn't following Muriel at all since he has no idea what JD looks like.

The scene with Franco coming to dinner and him and Sara just giving each other looks, was cute!

Juan pouring himself a drink was awesome! Is Romina going to die by botched abortion? That would be anticlimactic but kind of a weird poetic justice!

So, I’m finally starting to see how the initial puzzle pieces are fitting together. Mean-daddy is ruthless, and apparently not only has the town bought, but has its inhabitants running scared of him. Not to compare, lol, but I’m getting stirrings of the Nasuh that we first met, but who turned out to be just another tortured Teddy Bear. Mean-Daddy is so loving towards his daughter, yet she appears to be a well-balanced girl who hasn’t let his favoritism go to her head——-so far. Stirrings of jealous Cihan, too, with the azz kissing, eager to please son, and his wife could be Handan’s daughter, lol!. ( sorry, don’t have these names down yet.). And enough of these comparisons! Lol!

I did think it was kinda cruel of the heroine to practically laugh in her boyfriends face when he proposed, even though she was not laughing about that. She shut him down pretty hard though! And who would’ve guessed that he would turn out to be such a vengeful drunk! Poor thing only served to further the relationship between Mean-daddy and Cesur ( the only name I know so far, haha!) There are some pretty weird dynamics going on with him and his mom, but strangely enough, I like her right now.

One thing is clear, the two protags are really working that “thing” between them! Between his piercing blue eyes, and her dark beauty, they make a handsome pair! The height is just right too!

Something about this dizi seems more “telenovela-Ish” if you know what I mean? It’ll come to me, lol…….

I can't say I felt sorry for Bülent, the pyromaniac boyfriend. Yesterday, for me, he was Lukewarm Boyfriend. Last night he heated up a bit. He wanted to propose and flash the ring specifically at her father's big birthday bash to impress the old goat, the one he really cares about ($$$$).

Can't say for sure if this was real or cooked up for Tahsin to get his way, but it was revealed that the reason for the injunction against Cesur doing anything with the land was that Tahsin had mortgaged it. And his son didn't know about the mortage, so the sale was invalid. Of course all that is going away now that Cesur saved the old goat.

Carmella, I agree there were shades of Nasuh.

Cahide (aka evil SIL) noticed that Bulent had a burn on his wrist and now has him groveling at her feet to help with any plan she comes up with.

Carmela, I agree that the only things the cops seem to have done right for now was keep the blakmailer's identity hidden - I think nobody is aware he's alive. I remember Sarita being business savy, too. She was in charge when she and her sisters were still young and living at home. That's why her behaviour when it came to Dimi was so unbelievable.

Darcy, maybe Sam wasn't taking pictures, I think that was Rosario. What a messed up family they are! And now Muriel and JD are planning to ride off into the sunset and let his family handle crazy Sam? Doesn't seem like the grown-up thing to do. I agree that Romina dieying after a failed abortion would be rather odd and unsatisfying, after all the troubles she's caused, but I guess it's better like this than to have her in jail (future threat) or be killed by a Reyes because of Duvan. Jimena forgiving Oscar only seems like a matter of time now, although he's done nothing to deserve her pardon.

Weirdo, I don't remember many details about Nino rambling about his family, but I guess he once said Sibila and the little boy were orphans....

Where is Adela? Who killed the proff? WHat will Franco say about the remodeling of his office? WHY WERE THE DOCUMENTS THAT HELPED SET HIM FREE HIDDEN INSIDE THE WALLS?

Adriana, 'WHat will Franco say about the remodeling of his office?' LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
