Mujer de Nadie (Nobody’s Woman)– PRODUCED BY GISELLE GONZALEZ

Coming “Muy Pronto!”

Mujer de Nadie is a melodrama based on the telenovela Amarte Es Mi Pecado created by Liliana Abud. Leading the cast will be Livia Brito and Marcus Ornellas (Si Nos Dejan) as protagonists.

This melodrama centers around Lucía Arizmendi (Livia), a young beautiful woman who lives in Cholula with her father, Jacobo (Marco Treviño) and stepmother, Isaura (Cynthia Klitbo), an ambitious and cruel woman. Lucía’s passion is making talavera; she is in love with Alfredo (Arap Bethke, whom we saw in La Usurpadora) but he is cruel and unscrupulous…and only wants to take advantage of her innocence and purity. After Jacobo suffers a heart attack, Alfredo and Isaura plan to offer Lucía to Heriberto, the richest and most powerful man in town, who has been lusting after Lucía. While trying to escape from Heriberto, Lucía meets and falls in love with Fernando Ortega (Marcus), an honest man whose life changes when he meets Lucía; he is a businessman who has a small transportation company…and he will make sure Lucía will never again feel like the Mujer de Nadie! After Lucía is evicted from her home as a result of Heriberto’s orders, she goes to live with her aunt/mother’s sister, Alejandra (Azela Robinson). Living with Alejandra is her goddaughter, Casilda (María Panella, whom we saw in ¿Te Acuerdas de Mi?). Roxana (Carmen Aub) will be the antagonist who will go to all means to keep Lucía and Fernando apart.

Others joining the cast are Veronica Merchant, Plutarco Haza, Veronica Langer, Alexa Martin and Rosa María Bianchi.

MEXICANA

Ok I was watching this cause it was sorta funny with all the grifters and "Tyler" does look pretty good..but tonites episode just squeeked me out. I remember a study done several years ago; about incest. Surprisingly it is much more prevelent in situations like the "pretend" story. Where sibs or parent/child who meet as adults are much more likely to cross the taboo line than people who were raised together but not blood relatives. There seems to be an internal taboo against it. Anyway I think the adult relationship was called some kind of narcissist thing..Anyhow it really squeezed me out..Dude you think she is your twin. Creepy

I am Fev squeeked

MEXICANA

Squeaky Fev, just keeping it in the family.

I am not, at least at this point, actually watching this novela. I just decided to take a look while also doing other things, to decide if it was worth watching, and I have missed a good bit of it.

I'm still undecided, but I can say I'm not real impressed so far. It's only the second episode and already two people (or three?) have fallen madly in love with someone they have just met.

Some characters seem nice, others just a waste of time.

Mexicana

I don't know if I will stick with this one. I see nothing funny about grifters and I truly get offended at the idea that nobody in the US is capable of speaking Spanish correctly.

The party scene was painful and the whole quasi-incest thing is getting old.

This will have 127 episodes according to IMDB.

Mujer de nadie

Anyone plan to watch this? I might be persuaded to recap if enough people show interest.

Adriana Noel

Mujer de Nadine

Adriana, It looks interesting...if 'Muy Pronto' is still a few weeks away I will probably check it out. Possibly join you in recapping as long aa it starts after I get back home.

Mujer de Nadie

Hi, Adriana and Darcy, I plan to check this show out. Do you know anything about it ? I saw Livia is in it .

"MUJER DE NADIE":

Adriana: I plan on watching this Telenovela very closely. Especially because of the lovely Livia Brito in it.

Steve Boudreaux

MUJER DE NADIE

Susanlynn, I only know what has been mentioned in the press. I like Marcus Ornellas, he's a fresh face in Televisa ( Ariadne Diaz real life hubby) and I think Livia Brito is OK, too.
I take most of my novela news from People en Espanol, I know they have been filming it for a while. I plan to check it out when it starts airing in MX, see if I like it, but going by the synopsis, it's my kind of story. It would be great if we could come up with a full recapping team.

El Ultimo Rey #12
Una Sorpresa con Consequencias Terribles

Part 1 of 2

Still not available On Demand, so this is missing details I would have included.

1999: V.Jr and Alejandro practiced some horsemanship moves. V.Jr seemed to be getting better.

Gerardo told V.Sr he had a lead on the kidnappers.

1970: Vicente was on his way up. Refugio surprised him by coming to the palenque in Mexico City with their two sons. She told him she was pregnant again. He was happy at the prospect of another son.

1998: The three brothers went into a club. Somehow there were bad vibes.

Vicente and Refugio sat outside by the fire. She told him she was interested in learning English. He said “What for? Whom would you talk to, the horses?” She said nothing and looked defeated.

Gerardo began flirting with the female patrons, then shared a bottle with his brothers. All three then began doing a bit more than flirt. V.Jr was probably drunk while coming on too strong with a woman (who actually asked about his father) and his prosthesis fell off. Some people were horrified at the sight of his damaged hand. A woman with platform shoes stomped on the prosthesis and it got kicked around while V.Jr tried to retrieve it. Alejandro leaped into the fray and a brawl ensued.

1970: Vicente and his family ate in a place he used to sing in. Felipe was performing and got Vicente on stage for one song, which was on his first album. He dedicated the song to his wife and sons, which totally ticked off a younger woman in the audience. She looked at Refugio with contempt.

2020: Don Vicente questioned Refugio about what she told Dalia. She flipped out at him about this. Alejandro heard this and asked what was up. Don Vicente said something about “your mother's nerves”, which she objected to.

1970: Vicente left the stage, turning it over to Felipe. When Vicente excused himself to go to the restroom the Side Chick was lying in wait. She was annoyed that his wife was there. She told Vicente that her father had connexions that would be useful to him. He kissed her and was seen by Refugio, who covered the boys' eyes, then took them in hand and left the restaurant.

El Ultimo Rey #12
Una Sorpresa con Consequencias Terribles

Part 2 of 2

Still not available On Demand, so this is missing details I would have included.

1999: The brothers went home. V.Jr was drunk and belligerent. Gerardo and Alejandro tried restraining him. When V.Sr demanded an explanation he shouted that the world knows about his hand. Vicente blamed Alejandro but V.Jr denied that he was responsible. He said it was his own fault. He was frustrated with all the secrecy and couldn't take it anymore. [Norman Rockwell, my Aunt Fanny.] Alejandro pointed out that V.Jr's inner demons were still there and he needed help. V.Jr ran out. Refugio said he needed love. Gerardo sarcastically said “Let him go” and a few other things that others would see for what they were. V.Sr was still not facing his role in his sons' issues.

1970: Refugio was still not speaking to her husband. He talked as though she disapproved of the idea of them living in Mexico City. He told her he there to record so he could make money to pay off their debts and eventually buy a ranch for them. She asked if he thought of her as a wife or just an incubator for sons. It would have been obvious to any observer that she felt neither loved nor respected.

1999: V.Sr went looking for V.Jr. As he called out his name he flashed back to V.Jr's return.

1970: Vicente and Refugio watched “Siempre en Domingo”. He told her he would be on that program someday. He kissed her. She looked like she was just going with the flow.

1999: V.Sr and V.Jr talked. He told his son of his eternal pain at the death of his mother. V.Jr considered himself to be less for not getting over his trauma.

Gerardo met with someone who asked him what he had to do with the kidnapping.

V.Sr and V.Jr got up to walk back to the house. V.Jr was sure that the police were involved.

Gerardo's conversation went the same way. [Somewhere in this was a flashback to Manjarrez shouting in someone's face. I hop someone recalls it. – Author]

Refugio and Alejandro talked about his father. She sidetracked to telling him that they had talked about him before he was born and how much they have always loved him.

1970: V.Jr promised his mother he would help take care of his baby brother.

2020: Refugio never doubted that Vicente loved his sons. She loved them all. Alejandro told her that he would have been lost without it.

1970: Vicente and Felipe gave a concert. Lucha and Don Gilberto were there [dialogue virtually drowned out by the crowd]. Vicente gave a single rose to the Side Chick. He shook hands with Don Gilberto and Felipe and kissed Lucha's hand as he began a song, which he brought to a grand finish.

Mujer de Nadie

Susanlynn, I only know whati read at the top of this page but it looks interesting.

Mujer de Nadie

I wonder how "muy pronto" it is going to be. I will definitely give it a try.

Mexicana. I will be watching mainly because 7 PM central is a good time for me. I agree that there are a lot of novela cliches in this one, some of them cringe worthy. I think Diego should just tell Katya he's gay (or maybe he isn't and the writers are just messing with us?).

Mexicana. I must admit that Tyler's Spanish can be a bit annoying, especially as he sometimes forgets himself and pronounces an r correctly.

REY

"Vicente and Refugio sat outside by the fire. She told him she was interested in learning English. He said “What for? Whom would you talk to, the horses?” She said nothing and looked defeated". No wonder!

"She asked if he thought of her as a wife or just an incubator for sons. It would have been obvious to any observer that she felt neither loved nor respected". Could anyone blame her?

What a job you are doing on this Urban. It seems you've picked the perfect scenes and dialog.

Diana

Rey #12

Thanks, Diana.

This entire family needed therapy way back. Vicente Sr should have had something resembling grief counseling when his mother died. Vicente Jr should have had a shrink right after getting home from his ordeal. Since we haven't yet seen a flashback to Gerardo as a teen we don't know when his callousness began. We have also not been told why he doesn't sing or otherwise get involved in music.

Of the three brothers Alejandro is the healthiest despite his admission that he has suffered from depression.

Note: The recap for tonight's episode might not be up until Sunday. I will be at the opera tomorrow afternoon and Hamlet is quite draining.

REY

"Since we haven't yet seen a flashback to Gerardo as a teen we don't know when his callousness began. We have also not been told why he doesn't sing or otherwise get involved in music".

Very interesting Urban. I look forward to your sharing this explanation as I suspect some reason will be given?

Enjoy the opera!

Embajador S3 #21 part 1

Mavi reminds Melek to keep her seat belt on. Melek complains it’s too tight. We’re almost there, Mavi tells her and suggests a game—find a red car on the road. Whoever finds more red cars, wins an ice cream. Chocolate, Melek asks. She’s in. Mavi comes around the bend and there’s a police check. Melek worries she will be returned to her grandfather and he will be very angry. He will lock me up, she says. Melek wants Mavi to turn back but Mavi says that will only raise suspicion. No choice but to stop.

Mavi makes up a story that she’s taking her daughter out for ice cream and they left the house quickly without IDs. Meanwhile another cop says a pic of the missing girl just came in. Melek thinks quick and creates a fuss. The cop lets her go with a warning to remember to take her ID when going out. Melek is proud of her quick thinking and acting skills. They really believed you were my mother. Mavi thanks her and Melek returns the thanks. You saved me from my grandfather. Melek puts her hand on Mavi’s shoulder.

Dudu sits and waits while Yahya paces. Ela arrives. Yahya warns the ladies not to even look at each other, all eyes on him. Yahya demands to know what happened today and he wants specifics. No lies. Ela turns to Dudu, you told him about Ahmet? Look at me, talk to me, Yahya reminds her.

Ela starts, I… I went with him to the hospital in Aydin today. Ahmet brought me because…I went to abort my baby. He fooled me, she sniffles, he told me he loved me. But when he found out about the baby, he didn’t want it. He used me. Ela sobs. Dudu comforts her and apologises. Believe me, I didn’t want you to go through this again. Yahya says he’s going to find Ahmet and he leaves the house. Dudu is relieved and Ela wipes her face. Dudu calls Ahmet but his phone is off. She panics.

Mavi and Melek arrive at a house. Mavi checks things out and turns up the heat for Melek. She assures Melek no one will find them here. Melek asks for her dad. I promise he will come, Mavi replies. What will we do until he gets here, the girl asks. We can play another game, Mavi says, or explore the house. Can we stay here, Melek asks, can we watch TV? My grandfather didn’t let me.

Melek asks how Mavi knew her grandfather was bad. Did you know him? No, Mavi answers, but I knew people that were like him. How was that person, Melek asks, did they make you feel bad? Is that why you escaped, too? Mavi changes the subject. Let’s watch the cartoon. As they watch, Melek settles down on Mavi, who starts stroking the girl’s hair. Melek smiles at her, then places Mavi’s hand back on her head to continue.

Things are tense at the police station. The social worker is there, too. Sancar can barely contain himself. The cop explains that pictures have been sent out. Everyone is looking for Melek. This isn’t the first time this has happened. You need to take better care of Melek, he warns. Guven says it’s impossible for Melek to have escaped from his house. There were a lot of people at the party. He blames Sancar for sending someone to take Melek. Guven demands they search Sancar’s house.

Sancar jumps from his seat and asks the social worker if she’s writing all this down. Melek escaped from his house! Please, Guven replies, Melek had no reason to escape from my house. It was different at your house. Melek saw you and Mavi at the cabin. Sancar is stunned. Guven asks, and where is Mavi now?

Embajador S3 #21 part 2

What did you say, Sancar asks, Melek told you she ran away because of that? Yes, Guven responds, and she also told the social worker. You took Mavi to her cabin and Melek was offended. The social worker confirms this. Guven asks Sancar, how long have you known this woman? Have you looked into her past before letting her near my granddaughter? All you know is that she lost her daughter, but you don’t know how it happened. Have you thought that she could be the one who kidnapped Melek? Maybe she wants to replace her daughter. I’m afraid of someone who has nothing to lose, he tells the cop and asks him to investigate Mavi.

Sancar warns Guven not to get Mavi involved in this. Don’t mention her or her daughter. Guven points to Sancar’s words as a threat. Sancar backs off, I am not threatening you yet, but if my daughter doesn’t show up by sunrise, then I will threaten you. Sancar bolts from the room.

Slight cut at the beginning of this scene. Sancar is on his phone outside the station when Faruk calls. He says there is a problem bringing Guven’s driver back. We don’t hear what Faruk has to say, but Sancar needs to make this happen.

Kavruk pulls up at the police station and sees Sancar outside. Sancar rips into him, where have you been? My daughter is missing! Where is everybody?! Kavruk reminds him that he said to contact everyone to look for Melek. Guven exits the station and Kavruk suggests it’s better to discuss this somewhere else. Come. Guven notices Sancar leaving with Kavruk and tells a guy to follow them. Guven instructs his driver to follow, too.

Where is my daughter, Kavruk, where is my daughter?! Sancar tells Kavruk that Melek saw him and Mavi in the cabin and that’s why she went to Guven. She didn’t want to say anything to upset me. Guven said this at the police station. She was jealous of Mavi. Kavruk calmly says Melek will get used to it. Sancar shoots an incredulous look at Kavruk. Don’t you understand my daughter is missing? Why are you acting like nothing has happened?

Kavruk says he’s stopping at the gas station to fill the tank. We could be driving all night. Sancar can’t believe Kavruk’s odd behavior. They pull into the gas station with Guven following, and observing from a distance. His view is blocked by the pumps, but Guven tells the driver to pay attention to when the car leaves. Kavruk’s car pulls out and Guven’s follows.

Guven tells his driver to maintain a distance so not to be discovered. He’s sure that Sancar or Mavi or one of his men have Melek and he’s on his way to see her.

Elvan has not left Bora’s yet. In fact, she has fallen asleep in her chair. She starts murmuring in her sleep. Bora fixes her blanket. He accidentally knocks something over and Elvan startles awake. What happened, she shouts, what happened?! Bora laughs, what are you doing? Why are you scared? I covered you and tripped on this. Elvan holds her head. I fell asleep here? My head hurts, she moans.

Bora tells her he will make her a “Churchill” (Çörçil). She objects. I don’t want to drink anything else, she tells him. He explains it’s only soda, lemon and a little salt—medicine for your headache. Elvan looks at her phone, it’s 10:30! My MIL is going to kill me! She springs from the chair. My feet, she exclaims, they hurt! She’s shoeless. Bora laughs. Where are my shoes, she asks? Bora points. I took them off when you fell asleep.

You took my shoes off while I was sleeping, she asks? Yes, why, he asks? She looks very uncomfortable with that. She wants to call a taxi. I want to go home, she says, this isn’t good. Bora wants to take her. Okay, Elvan says, but no moto. [Turkish] Elephants are doing a zeybek in my head. Bora tells her he will take her in the car. Elvan says she’s never had so much to drink.

Embajador S3 #21 part 3

Mavi brings Melek a change of clothes. You bought them for me, Melek asks? Yep, and she helps Melek change. Melek has a question. Do you have children? Mavi shakes her head no. How strange, Melek says, how do you know these cartoons? And you dressed me as if you were a mother. Mavi is saved from explanation by a knock at the door. She tells Melek to go hide in the other room and quickly clears away any evidence that Melek is there. It's Sancar and Kavuk at the door. Sancar calls for Melek. Very happy reunion.

Guven’s van pulls up to Kavruk’s car that has stopped. Guven approaches the car, grumbling about Sancar kidnapping Melek with such a stupid plan. He bangs on the car and gets a big surprise. It’s Necdet! Good evening, gentlemen, Necdet greets, how are you? [Turkish] Don’t be upset. First I wanted to go to my grandmother, then I decided to go to my aunt. I swear my head is spinning. Are you dizzy, too, he asks Guven? Where did you come from, Guven asks, how did he evade us? Necdet laughs. Please, sir, it doesn’t take much to fool you.

We get the flashback of the switch. Kavruk pulls up at the gas station and there’s another car waiting at the pump. He tells Sancar to get out of the car. Sancar is confused and annoyed at what’s going on. Kavruk motions to Necdet, who is in the other car, to switch. Sancar asks what Necdet is doing here. What is this, Kavruk?

Kavruk points out that Guven’s been following them from the station. I’m going to take you to your daughter, he adds with a smile. Cue the Harmandalı. Sancar breaks out a big smile. You surprised me, Kavruk. He gives Kavruk a big hug. Sancar looks over at Necdet. A pause. Sancar grabs a hold of Necdet’s face, squeezes it and exclaims [Turkish] you’re the man! You’re great! He tells Necdet to take Guven on a long trip. You’re a real man! Necdet takes off first and Guven takes the bait. End flash.

Guven bites his fist and orders his guys back to the van. Necdet comments that Guven might be an ambassador, but he’s not a man.

Back to the father-daughter reunion. They missed each other so much. Mavi and Kavruk look on and smile. Sancar turns a disapproving gaze at Kavruk. Why are you looking at me like this, he asks his Efe. You know I can’t lie to you, that wasn’t my intention. But Mavi Hanım… Mavi tells him to drop the “hanım”. Kavruk continues, Mavi asked me not to tell you anything. Sancar shifts his look over to Mavi and he asks Melek to give the adults some time alone. Melek says she doesn’t want to go because she’s afraid he will get angry at Mavi.

That can’t happen, Mavi replies, come with me. She tells Melek that Kavruk brought toys and there are books. She sends Melek off. Melek tells Mavi to call her if she needs anything. Okay? I’ll protect you. Melek goes.

Sancar stands with his hands behind his back and the Efe stare on his face. Kavruk asks for permission to leave. He’s left food in the refrigerator. Call me if you need anything and I’ll come. Sancar has not changed his look. Please Sancar, don’t look at me like that. [Sancar, don’t look at my Kavruk like that!] Okay, Kavruk tells him, if you want, punish me later. I understand. Mavi thanks Kavruk for everything and he goes.

Sancar turns his displeasure on Mavi. Why did you do this? She looks ticked and remains silent. Aren’t you going to answer me, he asks, are you always going to do everything this way? Weren’t we together at that place (Guven’s house)? You said Melek was fine. What’s going on?! When did you find this place? When did you decide to kidnap Melek?! What did you see there?

Embajador S3 #21 part 4

Mavi finally speaks up. You can’t talk to me like this, even if you are right, you can’t do it. First change your attitude and we will talk. What are you saying, Sancar replies, what did I do? Are you trying to drive me crazy? You kidnapped my daughter!

Enough, Sancar, she answers, calm down. I won’t permit you to speak to me like this. I’m not going to let anyone shout at me. You want to ask my reasons? Do it, but don’t shout and much less when Melek is here. Do you have any idea how afraid she is? My daughter died because of the same kind of anger. I’ll answer you. I didn’t like the situation in which I saw Melek. It’s evident that Guven is a psycho that uses psychological abuse. I couldn’t leave her there. That’s why I took her. I didn’t think, I took her and left.

Sancar asks, what kind of psychological abuse? I saw it in her eyes, Mavi replies. My daughter’s father was the same as Melek’s grandfather. Psychological abuse grows with time until you doubt yourself. It’s dangerous because you don’t realize it at first. I lived this and I don’t want Melek to live it. I couldn’t save Ekim, but I could save Melek, and I did. Just like you saved me.

Sancar apologizes and so does Mavi. I’m sorry I had to scare you, she says. But I couldn’t tell you. The police were going to search your house, Guven would show up and you would have had problems with custody. But I couldn’t leave Melek either. Do you understand, Sancar? He’s much more understanding and grateful now. You don’t have any idea how much, he says. You saved my daughter when I couldn’t. He puts his hand on her face, their foreheads touch and she reaches for his face.

Sancar suddenly backs off. There was a party at the house. How were you able to get Melek out? You mentioned that a friend called you that organizes events and I bought a costume of a famous movie character, she explains. Sancar is amused. Melek comes out of her room and hears Sancar ask about the costume.

Melek sits between Sancar and Mavi. She starts to explain about Mavi’s costume. She had half her hair blue and the other half pink. And up like this (pigtails). Sancar smiles and gets it. He knows that character. Doesn’t she have short shorts and small socks? You went dressed like that, he asks Mavi?

Are you serious, Mavi asks, is this what you are thinking about? Ah.. it’s because it’s very cold out and I wouldn’t want you to catch a cold, Sancar dissembles. [Lol] Sancar tries to change the subject and asks if this house has a fireplace. Melek whispers to Mavi, he’s jealous.

Melek has some fun at her father’s expense. You should have seen Mavi, she looked very beautiful. I didn’t recognize her at first. She still looks very pretty but she looked like a movie star. How, Sancar asks? Like a movie star, Melek replies. Sancar starts tickling Melek. If you are going to make fun of your father, I will teach you. Keep making fun. Sancar looks at Mavi, she looked like a movie star? Then how does your dad look, he asks Melek? [did you answer Sancar’s question?]

Bora takes Elvan to the mansion. She doesn’t want him to drive up too close to the gate. He tells her if she needs to explain anything, he can go in to do it. Elvan mocks, why didn’t I think of that. [Turkish] Gulsiye can make coffee for you, then my MIL, you, me and Gulsiye can sit and play a game. And later, we can prepare Grandpa Efe’s room for you and you can borrow PJs from Sancar Abi. What are you thinking, Bora?! Halise Efe will strangle me!

Embajador S3 #21 part 5

Are you serious, Bora asks? Elvan says it’s just an expression. But she’s going to be very angry and ask me if I was with anyone. Bora says he’ll get angry with her before Halise does. What did I do, Elvan asks. You didn’t do anything to me, Bora replies, you are doing it to yourself. This is normal. You are busy with your work and after you went out with a friend and now you are coming home. Why do they treat you like you are 15 years old? I went out with a friend, Elvan asks? Yes. And that’s okay? Yes. You went out with me, and you returned, Bora says, you don’t have to be afraid because they exaggerate. That’s why I said I would go in with you.

It would be better if you turned around right now because anyone of them are unpredictable and they could kill you and me too. And you don’t want that. With that, Elvan opens the door and bids Bora good night. Lol, Elvan sniffs her breath. She turns around and waves Bora away.

Slight cut here. Halise and Zehra are sitting in the living room and they are worried about Melek. Halise asks if there has been any word from Kavruk. Nothing, Zehra replies, but he said not to worry. Elvan takes a deep breath as she comes down the stairs.

She makes a grand entrance. Good evening! Guess why I’m late. You know Suna, right? She’s Hasser’s MIL and they visited me in the store today. They insisted that I go with them. I told them no, but they continued to insist. They served me a lot of food. I was hungry so I ate. I ate so much that I relaxed so much, I fell asleep…. Halise interrupts… have you heard about Sancar and Melek? Did they call you? No, what happened, Elvan asks?

Halise catches a whiff of Elvan. Better that I ask what happened to you, Elvan! I could smell alcohol on you without any effort. Where were you really? This won’t happen again! Halise holds her head and sits back down and groans. We are not done with this yet, she tells Elvan. We will talk!

Guven is back home, drinking. Best friend Muge is with him. You are exaggerating, she tells him. No, he replies, if Sancar is not with Melek, why did he bother to trick us? Perhaps it was because you were following him, Muge replies. Madame has her bag packed and is ready to go. Muge takes exception. You’re blaming her? We were all here. We are all at fault. Not so, Guven answers, it was not your job to take care of Melek. It was hers, I paid her. And I’m firing her because she didn’t do her job. Muge feels bad and offers to help Madame find a place to stay.

Guven’s man comes in and gives him more bad news. Halise’s guys got away. Where did you lose them? Near Milas. We think they took the man out of town. Guven asks to see the photos they took. He orders to find out who the man is and why they threatened him. He asks if Mavi has anything to do with this man. Tahsin gave me a file on her, he says, and it was very interesting.

Guven hands Mavi’s file to the guy and explains that Mavi was tried for a crime when she was 19. Her lawyer was able to make an agreement of confidentiality on the case. But I think she was accused of murder. I want you to find out the details. Who did they accuse her of murdering?

Elvan is in the kitchen with Gulsiye and pours herself a soda. Gulsiye clears her throat, she wants an explanation. Elvan rolls her eyes with a hint of a smile and sips her soda. Elvan, I know something happened to you, Gulsiye says. Ay, Gulsiye, I only had a couple of drinks, that’s all. Stop exaggerating. [Turkish] I’m not referring to that, Gulsiye replies, you were scolded so much and your eyes are laughing and your cheeks are red. Something happened, tell me.

Embajador S3 #21 part 6

That same hint of a smile crosses Elvan’s face as she takes another sip. Gulsiye gasps, I know. There is someone, right? You are very happy, I can see it in your eyes! She pulls Elvan to a chair and goes to shut the kitchen door. Elvan starts laughing. Gulsiye hangs on her words. Wait, Elvan says, it’s that I still don’t know, but… you’re right, I met a man. Gulsiye gasps again. Elvan continues, and I think that I feel something for him. Allah! Gulsiye jumps up and exclaims. Elvan pulls her back down. Quiet, don’t say anything to anyone. They both giggle like little girls.

And we are out.

Mujer de Nadie

I won't be recapping this one (at least not from the start), but I'll read the recaps. It looks interesting.

Dear Dondi, thank you for that wonderful detailed account of a terrific episode . Mavi is a hero. I loved the scenes between her and Melek , and it seemed that they now have forged a strong bond by Having reaching her from evil abuelo. . As in , I must say how impressed by the talent of this young actress. I am mesmerized whenever she is on screen because she looks so much like one of our granddaughters ! Melek was clever to call out " Mama" over and over when the police came over to the car. The interaction between the two as Mavi put the cute sweatshirt on Melek and Melek asking Mavi if she had kids tugged at my heart. Melek placing Mavi's hand back to stroke her hair was so touching and real. When I watched , I thought that the sweatshirt belonged to Mavi's daughter. I loved the way Melek touched the front of the shirt and smiled when she was in the bedroom and then she hugged the book to her chest . so touching .

I wonder if Mavi owns that house.

Then , we get clever Kavruk figuring out how to stop Guven from following the car. Looks like nudnick Nedect is being rehabilitated and becoming valuable to Efe .He will probably end up with Gulyse.

The reunion of Sancar and Melek was wonderful, and Sancar Efe just had his first training session on controlling his temper . Simmer down , Boy.

Halise chastising Elvan reminded me of my mother when I was 16 and came home a little late with my date. Yikes . I hope Bora manages to win Elvan's heart because I think that they would be good together.

But what has Guven uncovered about Mavi killing someone when she was 19? Yikes.

Rgv Chick added your missing part 6.

EMBAJADOR

Thank you for a great recap.

My favorite part, Halise trying to shame Elvan over her alcohol breathe. Oh the shame..as opposed to the Halise conducting the beat down on Dudu's sperm donator.

Yes Melek has bonded with Mavi. I am hoping be for a HEA..but I am sure we will have to go thru many possible kidnappings, bad court judgements and so on. These are not spoilers, just soap opera tropes.

El Ultimo Rey #13
La Fama Trae Consecuencias

Note: As of now Ep 13 has still not been posted on Univision's website.

1970, Mexico City: Vicente sang “Palabra de Rey” as the Side Chick thinks of a previous sexual encounter.

1971: While Refugio tended to a sick Gerardo Vicente performed the same song in Los Angeles to a screaming crowd. Refugio ran up the stairs to Gerardo. She was still pregnant. Vicente and Felipe sang. Roses were thrown on stage at Vicente's feet. Later Vicente, Felipe, and Federico talked about Raul Velasco and telenovelas. They drank to this new development as we see archival television footage of Vicente.

Vicente arrived at the doctor's office when the doctor could not detect the baby's heartbeat. He was not optimistic. Later, a crying Refugio said she was sure the baby was alive. He trusted her instinct about this. [This is the first time I've ever seen a Televisa actress' mascara running.]

1999, Rancho de los 3 Potrillos: More conflict again between the brothers. Gerardo and V.Jr got into a car with a purpose. One decided by Gerardo.

Manjarrez was tied to a chair. V.Sr tried to make him talk. Another man was dragged out and Gerardo kicked him around with threats of making his family suffer. He put a pistol in V.Jr's hand and taunted him to make him kill the kidnapper. When this did not work he took the pistol and fired it.

V.Sr roughed Manjarrez up some more, demanding to know where his ransom money went. He did not kill him; he did not want that on his conscience. However, he told him he would not have a moment's peace for the rest of his life.

V.Jr tried to make the kidnapper talk. Gerardo tried to make him kill the man.

Alejandro was playing video games with Rodrigo. He left the room with Alejandra as Refugio entered and asked Alejandro about his brothers. He told her that they were confronting one of V.Jr's kidnappers.

1971: Refugio vented her concern about her baby to Gloria.

Vicente, Felipe, and Federico entered a posh party. The Side Chick (?) greeted them at the door for a photo op. Her father was not pleased to see Vicente due to his reputation and lack of formal education.

Later he was slapped by Alicia for some reason.

2020: Dalia and Don Vicente talked about a problem between himself and Jose _____ over a woman. Side Chick's father made a public scene. Mauricio Berlstein arrived and talked to Vicente about movies. Vicente said something about being a leading man starring with beautiful women.

1971: Refugio was climbing the stairs when her water broke.

Vicente and Side Chick sneaked aside from the party and she talked about getting a divorce to be with him.

Refugio was rushed into hospital. She asked Gloria to look after her sons if anything happened to her.

1999: V.Jr and Gerardo went home. He told Alejandro he couldn't kill the guy. Alejandro was pleased. V.Sr said that the brave do not kill. There was more talk of a shrink.

Gerardo burned a number of documents that had been in the safe. He was also demanding proof that Rodrigo was V.Sr's son. That had not yet been dealt with.

On his way into a concert venue in his sexy black leather traje de charro, Alejandro was ambushed by journalists.

1971, Mexico City, Guadalajara: Vicente ran out to get to to Refugio. She was in labor as Felipe drove as fast as he dared. They got into a road accident that left Vicente unconscious in the front passenger street just as Alejandro was born. Alive and perfect, with a full head of dark hair.

Uran, your talent for perfectly narrating dramatic scenes is amazing. Thank you.
