Monday's episode - p. 1 of 2

Arrgh. I don't think I've been as confused about other novelas as I am with this one. At least one thing has become moderately clear in tonight's episode. Cahide and Hulya are in cahoots. We see Korhan come back to the house where he went to see Hulya. He bangs on the door, but there's no answer. The caretaker comes by and tells him that the house is empty, no one has lived there in quite a while. Korhan tells him he was there earlier that day and she was there. He pleads with the caretaker to open the door. Eventually, he does so. The place is exactly as it was when Korhan was there, but there's no sign that anyone has been living there. He leaves, swearing that he will find Hulya.

We then see Hulya, relaxing on a couch elsewhere. She has a video call with Cahide. She asks Cahide whether she knows that Korhan came back to the house. Cahide says she predicted he would. She asks Hulya whether she cleaned the place up. Hulya assures her that she did and made sure to leave no signs (huellas). She also tells Cahide that she gave the keys to Zubeda, who then dropped them in the caretaker's pocket. Cahide thinks Hulya puts too much trust in Zubeda. Hulya replies that Zubeda needs the money and does very good work. Example: she stole Suhan's phone without anyone noticing.

Adalet is about to take Tahsin home from the hospital. There's apparently one more test they need to run first. Someone takes Tahsin in a wheelchair into another room for the test. Adalet is told she has to stay outside. Tahsin is told to undress. Then the guy who has wheeled him in turns his back so that Tahsin can't see him, and he gets a cellphone to ring. He brings it to Tahsin and says here's your phone. Tahsin says it's not his phone. The guy says take it, it's for you. Then the guy leaves. It turns out the call is from Cesur. He asks Tahsin, "Are you happy I ruined your plan?" He tells Tahsin that little by little, Suhan is realizing what a creep her father is. Cesur also tells him, "If you try to harm me or my family, the police will come for you. Oh, and by the way, Suhan is with me now."

We see Suhan having a massage and having a flashback to when she and Korhan were young and were being told that their mother is ill and needs to live elsewhere. The young Korhan seems especially unhappy about this.

We see the adult Korhan rush into the hospital to see his father. As usual, his father belittles him, and Adalet tells him to go solve his problem with Cahide.

Suhan, finished with her massage, goes looking for Cesur and finds him lying inert in the swimming pool. She calls to him. Getting no response, she immediately jumps into the pool and goes to him. When she gets close, he raises himself up, grins, and says "I love that you worry about me." This scene goes in the predictable direction. They kiss and then K-I-S-S at more length. He tells her he'll always be with her.

Cesur takes Suhan in a chaufferred car to a different restaurant. She mentions that she left her ID back at the desk. Cesur asks whether she wants to go back. She thinks it's not necessary. [Since we saw Cesur give Suhan's ID card to Rifat in the previous episode, I was surprised that Cesur asked her whether she wanted to go back for it. I imagine that somehow all this will eventually make sense.]

Sirin is apparently leaving Kemel. She tells him, "if you continue to be on Cesur's side, we can't be together." She drives off. We then see two guys in the forest. They report to someone that Cesur's house has a guard and three women in the house. They're told to wait for Mehmet's call (so clearly they're bad guys).

Monday's episode - p. 2 of 2

There's a long scene at the restaurant. It's weird--this is supposed to be a terrific restaurant, but there's no one there except for Cesur and Suhan. They talk about their relationship. She tells him, "The more time we spend together, the further apart we grow." He insists yet again that he cares for her and will never give up.

Outside, we see guys changing the license plate (on the chauffeured car??). I have no idea what this is all about.

A very sad and probably somewhat drunk Korhan is telling his problems to Salih at a bar. He tells Salih that ever since he found out that Cesur is Hasan Karhasanoglu's son, he's been having these nightmares. Salih asks, "You haven't said anything to Suhan?" Korhan insists that he hasn't: "Do you think I'd put her through this hell?" Salih tells him not to say anything to anyone. "Your father knows nothing about this. That will protect you." [Huh? Is he saying that Tahsin is unaware that Cesur is H.K.'s son? I'm pretty sure we've seen that he does know this.] Salih assures Korhan, "I'll always take care of you."

Korhan returns home. Cahide is there. Cahide instantly goes into her "I want a divorce" routine. Korhan demands to know who Hulya really is. Cahide says she doesn't know. Korhan then says that if Cahide really wants a divorce, she should divorce him. He yells, "We're getting divorced. I'm free!!" He leaves the room. Mihriban, who has been talking with Cahide, now tries to comfort her. [That's another thing I don't understand. Why would Mihriban be so sympathetic to Cahide? I thought she had more sense.]

Apparently, the two guys who were casing Cesur's house have come upon two other guys who claim that Rifat hired them. They say, "Call Cesur, call Rifat."

Meanwhile, the police stop Rifat's car. They ask him whether he knows Suhan Korludag. He says yes, she's a friend. The police ask, "If that's the case, why did her father report you?" They arrest Rifat.

Kemel has called Cesur about the men who claimed Rifat hired them. Cesur has stepped outside the restaurant to take Kemel's call. We then see Suhan inside the restaurant being grabbed by some men who put tape over her mouth as the episode ends.

Juanita, thanks for a Great recap of every confusing detail. Like you, I am confused and mostly watching to see the chemistry between Suhan and Cesar. The swimming scene was nice . I guess Suhan only day dreamed part of that.

It seems that Hulya and Cahide are gas lighting Korhan , who is having flashbacks of the night Cesar's father was killed .

What is going on with the two guys in the woods taking down the other two guys ??? Are the first two Bad Dad's guys and the two they grabbed Cesar's guys ...or viceversa.

At the end, Cesar Leaves Suhan and takes a call outside the restaurant. Then, suddenly we see two guys grab Suhan and put her in a car. Wait. What?

Snooping ,nosy newlywed Surhan wants a divorce . Kemel, do it .

amor-val

Excellent recap Juanita! I really appreciate you and the other patio members keeping this dizi going. I have enjoyed watching it when I get a few minutes of time but my recent work schedule has not allowed me the opportunity to stay caught up or even comment.

I am glad to read that I am not the only one confused with all the tangled webs of lies and deceit. I cannot for the life of me figure out what Cahide and Hulya are doing and why Bulent is helping them and Tashin.

Part of my distraction last night was the sauna scene with hot, hot Cesur in those dark blue swim trunks. Now he is a galan I can literally wrap myself around, lol. I love his expressions and calm demeanor. No Angry Bangs moments! Just calculating moves.

For a while I wondered if he really does love Suhan or is he falling in love as he claims? Are the handsome looks and calculating moves just a ruse? Nah!! He, Rifat and Kemal are the best buds. It is the women who are all over the place.

I hope to keep up this week. Thanks all!

Hasta que

Wow! "Also, Hasta que la plata nos separe has ended."

I did not pay enough attention when this started, I did not realize that it would run for only 28 episodes. It would have been fun to see what they did in that short time span, compared to the Pedro Fernández and Itatí Cantoral version (Hasta que el dinero nos separe) that ran for 231 episodes!

Thanks a million for putting up such a fine description of last night's episode.

Yes, lots of confusing things. The license plate thing. Whether kidnapping Suhan was part of what Rifat and Cesur were planning by taking her ID. That seems the most likely to me. But Tahsin was planning something with Salih that we didn't know about. And he had Bulent follow the couple. Really confusing.

That phone was delivered to Tahsin by a guy posing as an orderly or nurse wearing scrubs. Pretty sure we then saw the guy leaving the hospital in a rush. Probably not really a hospital employee, but someone paid by Rifat to take in the phone. Also, Cesur told Tahsin that he was recording their conversation, so he had plenty to give to the fiscal (district attorney). I was NOT clear on whether he was threatening to give someone the recording now or have someone else do it in the case anything happened to him.

The conversation with Korhan and Salih at the bar was about how the appearance of Cesur and his proving to be the son of (forget his first name) Karahasanoglu, was giving him nightmares and he couldn't sleep. Salih convinced Korhan that Tahsin did not know about him being in the car and having witnessed the disposal of Cesur's father. The implication was that Tahsin might off his own son if he thought there was a witness. That was what was meant by Salih protecting Korhan.

Yep, Kemal: run for the hills. Sirin does not deserve you. It was interesting that, after Kemal told him about the video where Cesur said he'd "take Tahsin's most precious thing", Cesur showed her the video on his phone and said it was true. I guess he has been trying to convince her that he had that plan when he came to Kordulag but has now fallen in love "for realz". He wanted to tell her about it preemptively before Siran could open her yap.

Thanks very much, Susanlynn and VVS, for your interesting and encouraging comments. I didn't intend to write a recap last night, just a few thoughts. But somehow I found myself having more to say than I anticipated. The next thing I knew, the mechanism on the TyM site was telling me I had exceeded the size limit for comments. Oops. So I moved some of what I was saying to a second page.

When this dizi started, I feared it was going to be very similar to Hercai, with both of them having a clear "amor y venganza" theme. To my surprise, Amor Valiente keeps making me think of Hercai because it's quite different, mostly in very good ways, starting with the galan, who both physically and emotionally is MUCH more to my liking than He-Who-Will-Not-Be-Named.

However, I'm also finding this dizi somewhat more confusing than most other novelas and dizis I've seen. For example, we now know that Cahide and Hulya are plotting together, but it's still not clear how they're going to bring off Cahide's "pregnancy." I'm also amazed at how quickly people seem to arrange for things to happen. One example: getting the house in which Hulya made it seem as if she was about to have sex with Korhan, and then getting it cleaned up again and having the caretaker say no one had been there. Also, Cesur's phone call to Tahsin while Tahsin was in the hospital. Also, why did Cesur give Rifat Suhan's ID card? And what made Tahsin arrange to have Rifat arrested? It's been weeks, I think, since Rifat was caught in Tahsin's house. And how did the guys who kidnapped Suhan at the end of last night's episode arrange for Cesur to step outside the house to take a phone call from Kemel--or was that just a fortunate coincidence for the bad guys? And why did they kidnap Suhan?

I was about to post this, but I see that in the meantime, novelera has posted a very helpful comment explaining some of what I was finding confusing. MANY THANKS, novelera!! It never occurred to me that the kidnapping was related to Cesur giving Rifat Suhan's ID card. I'm still not sure about that. Let me also say that I strongly agree with your advice to Kemel: "Run for the hills. Sirin does not deserve you." I suspect, however, that they'll get back together even though we all seem to agree that she's incredibly annoying.

(I've decided I'll just leave what I had written before reading novelera's message.)

amor-val

Whoever planned the kidnapping, and I can only think of two possibilities: Cesur or Tahsin, is not understanding how furious she's going to be.

If it's someone other than these two, I cannot think of a motive.

Amor Val

Thank you Juanita! Even though this dizi is UBER confusing, I, personally, lol, don’t need it to make sense right now. The confusing things only add to its appeal for me, and the chemistry between Suhan and Cesur is what I long for most, lol! Aside from the previous mystery of who the boss is——the one who silenced Turan, I think Mean Daddy is behind EVERYTHING, and even if he’s not, he’s still the root cause of everyone’s issues and problems.

I’m so glad Korhan told Cahide to basically go suck an egg, lol. How she can do this to him, when he obviously loves her is reprehensible! Those two chicken heads put their heads together and miscalculated about how Korhan was ultimately going to act. Korhan is right in telling Cahide that if she doesn’t trust him, then divorce him. He knew something wasn’t right about Huyla from the beginning, but he let Cahide manipulate him.

Yes, the restaurant scene was indeed strange, but Cesur is so magnetic that he doesn’t bat an eye at Surhan’s suspicions. I, do, also wonder at times if he’s playing a game, but I think that he’s well on his way to getting caught up in Surhan’s persistent charms. She’s a thinking woman, and I think he absolutely loves that about her! He won’t piss on her and tell her it’s raining, but with that being said, feelings are becoming deeply involved here…..

Sirin…..UGHHHHH! She’s more concerned about Surhan’s than her own husband?!?!?! Sickening she is! Just sickening!

The whole scene with the guys was totally confusing, and who is kidnapping Surhan? I think it’s Mean daddy, but how is he going to spin this to make Cesur the guilty one??? Hmmmm………

Amor Val

I also can’t help comparing this dizi to Hercai, and Cesur to the train wreck that was Miran……

Amor-val

This is way better than that Midyat dizi. Cesur is way better than "He Who". IMHO, Kıvanç is a much better actor. I don't know if I would call this dizi confusing, it's just set up to keep you guessing... and hooked.

I haven't been following closely and checking back to the orignal so I don't know if they are cutting stuff they shouldn't. We know how they like to edit!

Be patient and keep watching. I suppose that's easy for me to say because I know how it turns out. Another good thing about this dizi is that it's not very long.

AMOR Val.
I like this show. I like the way Cesar and Susan interact with each other.
I shall be very happy when he just rips the bandage off and expose her disgusting daddy. He actually thinks he is untouchable.
And what did he promise his young bride to get her to murder Cesar's father?
I'm still tryin to figure out what korhan's wife is up to. Shes not prefers, but the other woman is.
I think she wants him for herself. And why cuz hes got all this baggage from the past. He need to fess up. This is a good show. That guy that playing cesur has the most gorgeous eye. They're the color of the Mediterranean.
Thanks for the recap jaunita.

Many thanks, carmella, dondi356, and Nina, for your comments. It's almost time for today's episode out here on the West Coast, so I won't write more, except to say that I'm really happy to see that we have a small but enthusiastic group of people who are watching and enjoying Amor Valiente. None of us have committed ourselves to writing recaps, but for the most part everyone does post comments, and that seems to be working well.

amor-val

@Nina: The bandage was ripped off tonight! It was definitely Tahsin who had his own daughter frightened by a kidnapping. He's trying to get her back on his side. Some sneaky guy is describing the kidnapper to a policeman drawing a picture. Cesur figures it all out.

Banu tells Mehmet that the DA has the correct recording of the conversation between Cesur and Tahsin. And that the one they played for her was altered. One of the ubiquitous crooks in this show says that Cesar said that, if Tahin admits his crimes, he'll let Suhan go.

Suhan screams out loud that she believes it was Cesur who kidnapped.

The guy who had the evidence about the brake lines being cut takes a bribe from Bulent.

Speaking of that weasel Bulent, he tells Mean Daddy he wants to be the one who rescues her so as to be the hero.

Cesur, always the smartest guy in the room, figures out that Rifat was detained so "they" could use Rifat's garage to hold Suhan, further making it look like Cesur planned it.

Cesur borrows a motorcycle from the bribed guy who had the evidence about the cut brake line. Viewerville is worried when they see Cesur ride off on it and the bribed guy calling someone to say what transportation Cesur had.

But we discover that Cesur has Kemal arrive on the motorcycle. Bulent is beside himself. He's on the other side of the road waiting to jump out to rescue Suhan. Cesur sneaks in the side door and gets Suhan out of there. There is a hole in the side of the garage and Suhan gets an earful, including her father outright telling Korhan that he arranged the kidnapping.

Something happens about those trucks we saw a few episodes ago. I speculated that Cesur and Rifat saw something crooked going on. While the big "rescue" is going on, Mehmet gets a call that the warehouse is being searched. I think Mithat, the older man, is Mehmet's older brother. Mehmet is panic stricken and says to wipe his phone number.

Korhan is furious at his father. Suhan asks Cesur if he will marry her. She says something about it not being the marriage he might expect. Cesur asks her if it's only for revenge.

The police are searching the warehouse. Tahsin rages that this was Cesur's work. Cesur takes her to some cave and shows her the paintings he stole, replacing them with copies. She tells him everything is out in the open; he might as well hang them in his house.

Amor Val

Cesur is ABSOLUTELY the man, and the “smartest” guy in the room! I love him and his band of “merryman” including Banu as lady Marian, lol! Banu may do some underhanded things because she would like Cesur for herself, but she’s not obsessed with getting him, and smart lawyer that she is, the message that he loves Suhan is slowly but surely sinking in. I also include Mirhiban in Cesur’s posse, lol! Thanks novelera cause everything you said makes complete sense! It’s also apparent that Mean daddy neither cared that his daughter would be terrified, or that Korhan would’ve went along with his bodacious plan! I get the distinct impression that Mean daddy knows that his son doesn't have the “thug” gene and is thoughtful and too kindhearted to carry out his dad’s criminal interests in Korludag. Like Suhan, Korhan loves his father, but both he and Suhan have morals and integrity——-something Mean daddy obviously lost eons ago……

I can’t wait for Sirrin to eat crow! No matter what, she should’ve stood by her husband, and waited until she could personally talk to Suhan before being a turncoat. I know that Sirrin grew up around Mean daddy, and would more than likely trust him, but she’s also lived with Cesur for awhile now, and could see the type of man that he is, especially in caring for his mother. I can’t stand her! But even if they bring in another girl who likes him, he’s too much of a stand up guy, and he loves that harpy.

I felt bad for both Suhan and Korhan. They were both so hurt! Suhan might think that getting revenge through Cesur is the answer, but she’s bout to fall deeper and deeper into those soulful blue eyes! Yay! I can’t wait!! Lol

And, if someone could tell me, what was Banu’s dad’s phone call about? I missed the conversation……..

Amor Val

Novelera, thank you so much for the recap. I am still completely confused about which henchmen are the bad guys and which are Cesar's good guys , but I do not care because we got Cesar (is Thor) in a black leather jacket on a motorcycle on his way to rescue surly Suhan. ....kicking and punching and taking names . That's what I'm talking about.

So...Suhan heard baddad tell Korhan that he arranged the kidnapping so that Cesar would be blamed ...and now she has asked Cesar to marry her . Here we go. .....

Nina, you're here, girl ! Now it's a party.

Amor Val

Know what I’m afraid of……. they will redeeem Mean daddy just like they did Azize……😳

amor-val

Thank you novelera for the highlights to get us started. It was certainly non-stop action last night. Thor (thanks Susanlynn) is a great match for Mean Daddy. A much better match, I might add.

carmella, I think we can add Banu’s dad to the Cesur posse/band of merrymen. The call he took was from an “informant” letting the cops know that the illicit merchandise (not sure what) was in “container 21.” Cesur made sure that Mehmet’s brother was busy with the cops and couldn’t continue sending his thugs and reporting back on their dirty work. They were the ones at Cesur’s house and the “kidnappers” of Suhan.

Thor sure did make those thugs look like amateurs. He had some MMA moves with the front kicks and spinning back fists! All done in tight, sexy jeans I might add!

I like the idea of Suhan proposing to Cesur. That will drive Mean Daddy nuts and the marriage is all her idea. She won’t be able to resist those blue eyes much longer. Who could?

Mean Daddy redemption might be on the horizon. I hope not!

Amor Val

Thank you VVS!

amor-val

Many thanks, novelera, for your wonderfully concise and very helpful recap. I'm afraid I've had to come late to the party, and I can't stay long. But I did want to thank you, and also thank carmella, Susanlynn, and VVS for their great comments. Carmella, I too can't wait for Sirin to eat crow, and lots of it. I was struck by what you said about Suhan and Korhan having morals and integrity. I wonder how they came by them, given the horrible example their father has set and the fact that their mother was not on the scene for a good part of their (esp. Suhan's) growing up.

Susanlynn, I too enjoyed Thor on the motorcycle, but I was quite worried that the police would catch him. Oh, me of little faith! And VVS, thanks very much for the explanation about the call and "container 21."

My favorite part of last night's episode was, of course, Cesur's clever rescue of Suhan, including Kemel delivering pizza to distract the baddies. Not only did Cesur beat up the two kidnappers and rescue Suhan, he also had the good luck to have her overhear her father admit that he had planned the kidnapping. A thoroughly satisfying episode! (I'm trying to steel myself for the likely reversal.)

I'm still a bit confused about why Cesur gave Rifat Suhan's ID card a few episodes ago. Can anyone help me out here?

amor-val

Juanita, I am also completely in the dark about that scene where Cesur managed to get hold of Suhan's identity card and hand it over to Rifat. This was when our two soon-to-be lovebirds were in separate rooms. They were there to "recover" from the rollover of Cesur's car because of the brakes being tampered with. Cesur is talking with Rifat in his hotel room when Suhan knocks on the door. Rifat goes to somewhere else in the room so that Suhan can't see that he's there.

Amen on Sirin's first course of crow salad followed cuervo en salsa de crema as the main course.

Amor Val

VVS, thanks for the information . I am enjoying the visual aspects of this show very much , but I am clueless as to who is zooming whom.

It's nice to have An old fashioned hero since they seem to be out of fashion in the Mexican telenovelas.

I love Kemel playing Robin to Cesar's Batman. A caper with Cesar is probably a nice break for him from crankypants Sir.

Juanita, I have no idea why Cesar took Suhan's ID and gave it to Rifat.

Amor Val

I’ve gone around in my head a number of times trying to figure out why Cesur would take Suhan’s ID and give it to Rifat?? There was no way he could’ve known that Mean Daddy was going to try and kill him, but even with that fact——-apples and oranges. Was his plan to take it all along, for some reason only known to him when he kinda forced her to spend the day with him, and to leave her car and car keys in Korludag????

I hope they reveal this mystery to us……..

Also Juanita, even the worst of people usually want their children to do better and be better than they were/are. I get the impression that Mean daddy hid a lot of his dirty dealings from both Suhan and Korhan, and berates and keeps things from Korhan constantly, because Korhan’s overall character is viewed as weak to him…… I guess, lol……. I wonder, too, if Mean daddy was always like this?

Btw, I know that in the Turkish language that the “C” is pronounced as a “J,” so is Cesur pronounced as Jay-shoo? Maybe I’ll just call him “Thor,” lol………..

amor-val

Tahsin has been an awful person for a very long time. We saw the scene where Cesur's father (why can't I remember his name) was Tahsin's good friend. They were in the army together, and Cesur's father confided in Tahsin about painting copies of his original artworks so as to be able to sell at least one original to buy land. The copy (or copies) was to have his parents think they still owned the art. Cesur's father also told Tahsin where he hid the originals.

I suppose military service is obligatory in Turkey. Otherwise I can't imagine why a painter whose works were SO valuable at such a young age would have been in the army at all. Come to think of it, it was that military service that separated Hazar and Dilsah in Hercai.

Amor Val

Novelera, I taught many young guys from the middle East , and they told me that military service was obligatory..

amor-val

Military service in Turkey is compulsory for all male citizens between 20 - 41 years of age. I suppose there are exceptions/exemptions.

Cesur's father is Hasan, Hasan Karahasanoğlu.

I thought I'd mention some of the things I took note of in tonight's episode. But first, I want to be sure everyone knows that neither Amor Valiente nor Infiel will be shown Thursday. They're both being pre-empted by a 3-hour awards program, Premios Tu Música Urbano.

At the police station, Tahsin arrives to find that the man who brought the men who kidnapped Suhan is about to make a statement. The man explains his role and then says that Cesur Alemdaroglu beat up the men and rescued Suhan, and that she is with Cesur now, safe and sound. Tahsin is furious. The guy dares him to go ahead and hit him here in the police station with lots of witnesses.

Tahsin continues to rant. Banu urges him to calm down, reminding him that making threats is a crime. She goes on to say that the people who kidnapped Suhan worked for Mithat Topakci. When she says this, Mehmet looks upset. Others turn to look at him. [Do they all know that Mithat is his brother?]
Banu also says that Cesur told her that Mehmet does business with Mithat. An outraged Mehmet claims what Banu is saying is an outright lie. She responds: "If it's a lie, arrest me."

Cesur and Suhan are driving. Cesur says he wants to be sure she realizes that their marriage won't stop him from sending her father to prison. She replies that all she cares about is protecting Cesur and his mother. "This will keep my father from making any more mistakes." Cesur says he's sure it will drive Tahsin crazy. Suhan replies, "The angrier he gets, the happier I'll be."

Tahsin has been yelling at Mehmet. Mehmet yells back, telling him to get out of his office. When he has news, he'll let Tahsin know. Tahsin threatens, "If you and your brother do anything to hurt me, I'll burn you." To which Mehmet replies, "If I burn, you'll burn, too." Tahsin leaves. I think as he does so, he notices Korhan talking to a policeman in another office [but I'm not sure].

A witness [I'm not sure who] identifies both kidnappers in separate lineups. Mehmet then tells someone, "They have to deny everything. Cesur Alemdaroglu has to be responsible for everything." A bulletin goes out to all the police to be on the lookout for Cesar Alemdaroglu in a car with license number [whatever]. [Does this have anything to do with why we saw someone change the license plate in the previous episode?]

Sirin has been claiming that Cesur kidnapped Suhan and is holding her hostage. She then gets a phone call from Suhan, who tells her the kidnapping was all her father's plot. And yes, she already knows about Tahsin's "most precious treasure."

Pre-marital blood tests reveal that Cesur is a universal donor (Suhan calls it "hero's blood"), while Suhan is O+. [Will this turn out to be significant?]

Banu asks Rifat why he had Suhan's ID. Rifat says he doesn't know. He had to make a copy. He also has her residence certificate. [I'm not sure whether Rifat is really clueless or is just unwilling to tell Banu. I'm still clueless.]

Suhan is taking a shower. Cahide and Mihriban arrive and find that Suhan is already there, so Cahide will have to stay elsewhere. A dress arrives from Cesur with a card saying this may not be the wedding you dreamed of, but you are the bride I always dreamed of. Cahide and Mihriban read the card.

At the end of the episode, Cahide says to Mihriban that if they find out Suhan is getting married, Suhan could lose her inheritance. Mihriban replies, "Or Suhan could kick us all out of the hacienda." She tells Cahide, that according to Nurhan's (Korhan and Suhan's mother) will, any olives that grow on the land belong to Korhan when he married, and the hacienda will belong to Suhan after she marries. "Didn't you know that, Cahide?" "No," says Cahide. End of episode.

Thank you Juanita! Great overall recap and synopsis of last night’s episode! Watching Mean daddy go on and on as if he’s the injured party (though Cesur thwarting him——-yet again, is definitely injury inducing) was disgusting! And then to blame everyone else except himself, shows you what a true narcissist he is! He’s so full of bluster, threats and himself as he stomps through the police station like he’s King Korludag! And he lets no one, absolutely no one forget that he’s running things! Folks are getting tired of his threats though, even his lapdog Mehmet——subservient dummy that he is. But why would Mean daddy go home and tell Adalet to pack so they could go on a trip? The tale he’s spewing is that his precious daughter has been kidnapped, so why would he leave at a time like this?!?!? Scared to face Suhan maybe??

Sooooo, now we get a glimpse of Banu’s attachment to Cesur, and if what Bulent says is true, she had it very bad for Cesur. But she also said that Cesur was always truthful with her, and it’s also admirable of him to consider her his friend and confidant in some areas. She did get over him long enough to get married and pregnant by someone else? Or did she just get pregnant? Plus her father also has a good relationship with Cesur, which tells me that he was a stand up guy when Banu was going through whatever it was over him. I’m feeling a relationship brewing between Banu and Bulent, asswipe that he is. Bulent will do anything and use anybody to get back at Cesur……

I also think the mention of the blood types will be significant down the road, too, Juanita. Why mention it if it wasn’t? It was funny when they were taking their marital photos and Surhan asked him if he thought that he was a telenovela star or something, lol. It was good to Cesur laugh——really laugh after the 24 or so hrs of hell they’d just been through! One things for sure, this dizi wastes no time! Nice to see Cesur pick out a dress for Surhan too. I wonder when he realized that he was in love with her? We already know when Surhan realized it……

I also wonder when Cahide and Mirhiban became such good friends? And what is the significance of Surhan inheriting the house upon marriage? I don’t get it as to why Surhan would go to the apartment, that everyone knows about when she’s supposed to be kidnapped? Not a smart move if you ask me. And where did Cesur get another phone when Surhan supposedly took it when she got in the cab? I remember him having two phones at one time, but he made such a point about her taking it.

I won’t even go into Sirrin and Kemal making up, but as was mentioned before, he deserves better! Much better!

Wow, carmella! What a terrific set of comments!! I've said before how much I love your writing style, and I was again struck by it in these comments. Statements like "He’s so full of bluster, threats and himself as he stomps through the police station like he’s King Korludag," and "his lapdog Mehmet——subservient dummy that he is." And I too wondered why Tahsin would tell Adalet to pack because they're leaving. I agree that he might want to avoid facing Suhan, or perhaps he's afraid that he might actually be arrested, since even his "subservient dummy" Mehmet is beginning to defy him. Good point about the relationship between Cesur and Banu's father. And you're right, "this dizi wastes no time!" Actually, I've noticed this about a number of Telemundo novelas and dizis (in comparison to what I recall of those on Univision and perhaps earlier Telemundo novelas). I find the speed of resolving matters and moving on to the next crisis refreshing. Finally, I LOVE your "I won’t even go into Sirrin and Kemal making up"! I thought about including their getting back together in my account, but I was so put off that I decided not to.

Again, thanks VERY much!!

Juanita , thank you so much for the recap . I enjoyed the visual and got a word or two , but I appreciate finding out what was said.

Okay, I'll ask...what is the universal blood type ? I liked Suhan referring to it as "hero's blood" . Yes, Cesar is definitely our hero.

I thought that it was love at first sight for Cesar .When did Suhan fall in love with him ? Wasn't it like us....the first episode when we saw Thor dressed head to toe in lumberjack chic Eddie Bauer! Asking for a friend .

I was trying to figure out if Suhan was in a hotel . These people move around a lot. So, the family owns an apartment ?.....or an apartment building ???

I got a kick out of big Cesar in the tiny photo chamber . I am small and felt claustrophobic sitting in one Recently with two tiny family members at a movie theater . Loved the tongue in cheek comment about Cesar in a telenovela. Teehee

So...Suhan will now get a hubby and a hacienda. ...plus a new dress. #winning

AMOR VAL.
OK I'll try it again.

I was ripping tishan a new one.
Not sure that name is spelled right, who cares hes not right anyway. I don't think he deserves
A get outta trouble card. He got blood on his hands and he ain't sorry about it. In a flash back he stood outside watchin those two old people struggling to get out of the fire and he was just coldblooded n heartless.
And he still thinks he deserves everything he stole from cesurs
Family. He thinks hes untouchable. The Ahole that he is.

I really hope that they can jump the broom before cahiady can stop it. I could see the wheels turning in her bobble head. What exactly is she after anyways. Her friend wants her husband. Is that his baby shes carrying?
I hope that dress he bought her looks better on her than it did on the rack.

Ok sirin....is annoying and a busybody. She should really work on herself. Her hubby is so sweet. And he loves her with all her quirks.
Show of hands, who thinks theyll make it to the alter and say
"I DO"? Its for revenge but they do love each other. This is gonna piss bad daddy off.
GOOD!!
GREAT Recap Jaunita, thank you love. Yall stay cool.

Yay, I cannot wait for “La Reina del Sur 3”.

Nina, thanks so much for re-posting. There is some sort of evil genie that we haven't figured out here at Telemundo Central. Sometimes perfectly good comments go to spam. If we get a heads-up early enough, sometimes we can restore them. We had this problem while recapping Hercai. A recap that was several comment pages long would be posted by the recapper and sometimes one of the sections would not appear. Wish I had an answer. Right now the only solution is for the person whose piece is missing to post a comment about it so as to alert Administration.

Juanita, thanks so much for the fine "recap". [We're hesitating to call them recaps because they aren't official. We were a bit burned out after Hercai and don't have a firm schedule.]

Yes, it's definitely infuriating to watch Tahsin storm around proclaiming himself the injured party.

I'm really worried about Miribar spilling the beans about the hacienda to Cahide. I want them to be married ¡y ya! According to Suhan it will be in name only, but that won't last! Even if Suhan does own the land where the olive trees grow, I don't think Tahsin would end up broke. He seems to have LOTS of irons in the fire, many of them illegal, of course.

I can't figure out who's who in this one. There's some official who isn't afraid to defy Tahsin and say that Cesur definitely was not behind the kidnapping. There was a lineup, which you wouldn't think Mehmet would even allow.

Anyway, this one does move fast, and I'm enjoying it. One similarity between this one and Hercai is that there is an ardent groom who's trying to win over a reluctant bride.

Susalynn

The Universal blood type is O Neg……Surhan was O Pos…….

amor-val

While hearing them say one character was O-neg and the other O-pos, I was frantically trying to remember the consequences of this for a pregnancy. Anyone know?

Amor Val

None novelera….if Surhan was O Neg and she delivered a baby that was blood type Rh positive, she would have to receive a blood product called Rhogam which contains antibodies that stop the immune system from reacting to the babies Rh positive blood cells. If the baby is also Rh Neg, Mom will not have to receive the rhogam post delivery……

Amor Val

Oh, and Rh incompatibility between Mom and baby, if left untreated can cause hemolytic disease for future Rh positive babies and can cause severe jaundice, anemia and brain damage…..

Can you tell I’m a maternity nurse! Lol!

Enbajador

Carmella,oh my . You are a maternity nurse ! No wonder I feel so drawn to you in addition to us both knowing who the Mummers are. Praise and love to all maternity nurses . p.s. Both our babies were 2 weeks early and under 6 lbs and had jaundice . The nurses were wonderful.

amor-val

Whew! Thanks, Carmella. I was thinking the only reason they made such a point of announcing their blood types was to put in a clue there could be a big problem when she had their baby.

Amor Val

Aww Susalynn! Thank you! Mummers and babies, what a combination! Lol! Yes, I see a lot of jaundice for various reasons, and am glad that it’s easily treated today. Glad your babies are good and you had great nursing care ❤️

Novelera, I’m getting “somebody is gonna need blood” vibes as in “he who” who ended up giving blood to Hazar in Hercai???? Hmmmm…………..

amor-val

A bit late to the commenting party today. Thank you Juanita, carmella, Nina, Susanlynn and novelera for the great comments and story line developments!

I was impressed by Banu in this episode. She might still be carrying a torch for Cesur but she handled that asswipe (thanks carmella) Bulent so well. She also responded very well to his research on her attempting suicide after Cesur broke up with her. Mean Daddy and others keep referring to her as the devil lawyer and last night “diabolical.” Good for her! She showed some real avocados calling out Mehmet regarding his association with his brother’s drug transportation business.

Cahide looked like she wanted to puke when she realized that the whole fortune wasn’t coming to her and the fake baby. I had to laugh.

Thank you carmella for explaining the O+ vs O- blood issue. I knew you were a nurse so it is helpful to have your expertise. I work for a hospital and just play a nurse on TV. 😊 I work in the administration part of healthcare.

This dizi is speeding right along and I like it!

Telemundo

Thank you, deb, for the information. I'm interested in recapping "La Mujer de mi Vida". Anyone else?
