#27. I think I have a correction to the discussions between Korhan and Tahsin in #26. In watching the brief recaps at the beginning, Korhan told his father that he knows those people aren’t Tahsin’s parents, but are they the people who raised him? All Tahsin says is: “Your grandfather…your grandmother” and he uses the form so he’s not saying they’re su (his) grandparents, referring to Cesur.

Hulya gets away from Korhan.

There’s another odd Turkish legal proceeding. There’s, I think, a district attorney in an office behind a desk talking to the principals in this muddled mess. Rifat points out the 3 paintings. He says that, yes, he stole them, but they belong to Cesur. Then we see Cesur in that room saying that he saw the paintings in his family home when he was a child. He does admit that his taking them could be called a crime.

Mihriban has somehow arranged for some workers to fulfill Suhan’s glass orders.

Tahsin tells this same DA that he has copies of the paintings, but not the originals. He swears he’s never seen that portrait of Hasan’s parents. Tahsin’s lawyer tries to paint his client as a really nice guy who wants to drop the charges. Back to Rifat. He has a photo on his phone of the portrait of Cesur’s grandparents that he took on the wall of Tahsin’s Istanbul apartment. When confronted Tahsin says it’s a fake. It could have been any wall anywhere.

We see the guard who reads outgoing mail from prisoners look at Riza’s letter. “Your father died two times.” This looks harmless to this guy, and he puts it back in the envelope.

Bulent tries to make nice when he brings the workers Mihriban arranged for. He tries to say he was just going to try to protect her. She looks at him like something scraped off the bottom of her shoe and says she never wants to see him again.

Tahsin breaks up and burns the painting and then we see Cesur hanging the originals to his mother’s joy.

Cesur thinks about giving Suhan the ring when he sees her brushing Timida, but her snarkiness convinces him to put it back in his pocket. She’s told him she won’t be celebrating either her birthday or Valentines’ Day with him.

Korhan has found out Hulya is getting a visa and waits outside an official building. He catches her with Cahide, but this is just another Charlie Brown…football…Lucy moment for Viewerville. Those of us on the patio just sigh, being used to delayed gratification. The end result is that Hulya lies her keister off at the police station and looks like Cesur is going to be the bad guy again. Korhan must be blind if he can't see Hulya's belly.

Mihriban comes to announce to Tahsin that the 3 amigos have been removed from their posts while the seemingly honest judge investigates the whole “Container 21” business.

Guess the warden is a crook as well. He calls Adalet to say that Riza sent a letter to Cesur. We see her see the mailman get on his scooter. Again…more Charlie and Lucy and football stuff. Tahsin shows up to grab the letter on Cesur’s doorstep. Since he’s found there he pretends he misses Suhan.

During the 2,954th viewing of Sirin’s wedding video, the portrait of Cesur’s grandparents is shown on the wall at Tahsin’s Istanbul apartment. They are overjoyed to have this evidence.

The visit from her father has softened up Suhan. But she tells Cesur that she really wanted him to have come to beg her pardon and say that he missed her. But all he came to say was that her marriage won’t work and Cesur will let her down.

Tahsin tells Adalet that Riza will be out in a few months and will be looking for help. They believe he was reaching out to Cesur for this reason. Tahsin tells Adalet that only her brother knows she killed Hasan. When he gets out of prison, Tahsin will silence him.

Novelera, thank you for the recap .

So...Korhan just happened to run into Chahide and Hulya at that cafe , and he didn't seem to notice that Hooligan is pregnant . Then, did he force them to go to the po!ice station ? Did he want H. To turn herself in ? I have a hard time trying to figure out where this storyline is going . Was the guy who shot Cesar H 's husband who was just out of jail? Why did be shot Cesar , and is be back in jail?

Wasn't it convenient that the old coot managed to get that letter right outside Cesar's door ?!

And Suhan tells Cesar " no Valentine's or birthday plans , buddy." Let's see how that goes . What ? You didn't get me anything ? I have see about 8 Turkish Dizis now , and several of them had storylines about Valentine's Day . It seems to be a big holiday in Turkey with soecial cakes and flowers .

Thank you novelera for your recap and for clarifying what Mean daddy said to Korhan. I think that we miss a lot in translation from the original Turkish to Spanish——then Spanish to English——and it further adds to the confusion. I’m totally with you on the “Charlie Brown” moments with Korhan and the two chicken heads, and Mean daddy being able to intercept the mail. Talk about the federal crimes committed here, along with blatant racketeering! I guess that when you own the town, there’s no such thing?

I really used to feel sorry for Adalet, but she’s digging herself deeper with every snide remark she makes to Cesur, knowing that she killed his father. If she knew any better, she would just shut the hell up and keep it moving. She’s forgotten n herself and what she’s done hanging around with Mean dddy. I guess arrogance does indeed rub off——-in the worst kinda way in her case.

The two chicken heads making a fool out of Korhan——-again——- is getting on my nerves! Korhan should’ve laid low and then put a PI on the case. He’s rich, and that’s what rich people do, duh!!!! He’s such an emotional guy, and seems to go along with anything Cahide says. I tell you. Cesur must have some kinda superpowers to be responsible for EVERYTHING! Give that man his cape! And a hand while you’re at it!!! It’s just too much, especially when people waste valuable brain cells! This is Mean daddy’s MO, not Cesur’s!

Adalat didn’t seem too bothered that Mean daddy is gonna get rid of her brother, Riza. So why was she going to see him all these years? She should’ve just left him alone to rot and kept going about her business.Again, I’m MAJORLY,not liking her! Wonder why she never got pregnant by Mean daddy? Wonder if she was always around while Mean daddy was married to Suhan and Korhan’s mother? Obviously she went to Pharmacy college, so maybe she was away for a number of years??

Even though Suhan is disappointing at the moment, I saw the sadness in her eyes after Mean daddy’s visit. So did Cesur, and as much as he wanted to hug her, he maintained his distance. And yes, Valentines Day appears to be a MAJOR event in Turkey, and I don’t believe for a minute that they won’t spend it together, lol.

Suhan should’ve given Bulent a knee job, lol……..

carmella is right, as usual, Telemundo viewers are suffering from bad translation throughout. I don't have the time right now to keep up with them.

Regarding the Korhan/Tahsin convo in #26, I checked the Turkish version unofficially translated by "fans" into English as "that wise woman and her husband".

It sounded to me like "ne ben ne kocası" which translates to neither me nor her husband. I don't know if either makes more sense. But it seems like an evasive answer on Tahsin's part.

Thank you novelera for the Thursday recap! I really appreciate you and Juanita keeping the recap/comments going. I unfortunately was part of the CenturyLink internet nationwide outage the last two days and just now getting caught up. Technology is great until it doesn’t work.

I am glad to read I am not the only confused with all the legal issues going on. I do appreciate the great explanations from the patio. Seriously, how many times is poor Rifat going to get arrested?

I was also glad to see that the interviews were taking place in Istanbul so Tashin couldn’t glad hand his way to get off Scott free.

What are Hulya and Cahide, the chicken heads, carmella you are too funny, doing? Are they leaving the country so Hulya can have the baby and Cahide can come back with the baby? These two don’t have two brain cells to rub together. Korhan is just dense.

Count me in on the Adalet dislike bandwagon. I think she is totally okay with Tashin killing her brother. I kept yelling at the TV for Cesur to check the cameras so he could see Tashin took that letter, but no, he and Kemal just did a foot search of the property.

I am also tired of Sulking Suhan. She and her Angry Bangs need a barrette.

What is the significance of the ring Cesur is carrying around? Is that a wedding gift?

Amor Val

VVS, I think Cesar bought the ring to give Suhan at their wedding , but then when she said it was a marriage in name only, he did Nt give it to her . Then, everybody here on the patio voted , and we thought they slept together, so Cesar thought about giving the ring to her. But then , she accused Cesar of having her glass factory workers walk out, so she was ticked at him again, so he put the ring back in his XL Eddie Bauer jacket from the Big\Tall Fall catalog , and Suhan found it when she was giving the jacket a secret sniff in his bedroom.

Thanks VVS, dondi356, and carmella for weighing in. This dizi definitely keeps me interested. I never can predict what's going to happen, with the possible exception of Korhan being deceived by everyone except his sister over and over.

I wonder if they're ever going to reveal why Tahsin has such scorn for his son. Of course the hints have been that he's too "nice" to suit the old shark.

Susanlynn, I think Turan (not sure if that's the right name) was a boyfriend and likely partner in some crimes with Hulya. He's the father of the bun in the oven, but I don't think there was a lot of romance between the two. Hulya, IIRC, paid him for the plot to kill off Cesur. I think Cahide wanted Cesur gone but I can't remember exactly why.

I think they just didn't bother showing how Korhan got the two women to the police station. I do know that the two schemers non-verbally agreed that they'd pretend that Hulya was just after Kordulag money. And, yes, the plan is for the two of them to leave the country and, once Hulya gives birth, Cahide will return with "the heir". This just doesn't make sense to me. With the iron control Tahsin has over his family, how will she explain such a long absence? And Hulya, worried about being caught, wants for them both to leave right away. Isn't she supposed to be only 6 months pregnant? The bump and the fake bump don't look as far along as even 7 months.

Thanks for checking the Turkish, dondi. As always, you keep us informed on what's really going on. I didn't pay that close of attention when that conversation first aired, but I thought he didn't admit to his son he'd appropriated Hasan's family. Some viewers thought the old reprobate had admitted to his son that the people who died were Cesur's grandparents.

VVS, I think the ring is meant to be a wedding ring. I don't remember their wedding that clearly, but it seems to me they just signed the red leather booklet we've seen many times in dizis. Maybe a wedding more planned in advance (like Sirin's) would have had a ring exchange as part of it.

We could give Adalet the benefit of the doubt about her brother. Tahsin told her he'd silence him. Viewerville's minds jump to a mafia-style silencing. She could think Tahsin meant pay him off or some such thing. We have to remember she's been in denial about how really bad he is for quite a few years.

MANY thanks, novelera, for this terrific recap. Loved your "Charlie Brown...football...Lucy moment"! And thanks for looking more closely into the Tahsin/Korhan discussion. I don't think I've ever mentioned this, but from time to time, when they show a clip from the past episode, there seem to be small changes in what is said. I think this was even true in Hercai, and I think it may be true in the Tahsin/Korhan discussion. I was very surprised when I watched the clip at the start of last night's episode. It seemed to me that this time, Tahsin identified the old couple as "el abuelo y l'abuela. That may not have been what he said originally, I don't think I would have misunderstood that, though of course it's certainly possible. There's almost nothing I can't misunderstand! :-) And dondi356, I very much appreciate your going back to the Turkish, although, as you say, the Turkish, too, seems strange. Anyway, if Tahsin DID say el abuelo y l'abuela in the previous night's episode, I guess he didn't say explicitly that it was Korhan's abuelos or Cesur's.

Thanks, novelera, for explaining who it was that read Riza's letter. I assumed it was the police, but it makes much more sense that it was the warden, checking to see that there was nothing dangerous in what the letter said. BTW, I'm not sure his calling Adalet to tell her about the letter necessarily means he's corrupt. It's certainly possible he is, but it's also the case that she has been trying, unsuccessfully, for years to see Riza. She's probably the only person who has shown any interest in him, so the warden may think she'd like to know about the letter.

I found it interesting (and hopeful) that when Tahsin went in to talk with whoever it was that Cesur had just spoken with, Tahsin extends his hand, expecting to shake hands, but the guy doesn't shake his hand, he just asks Tahsin to take a seat. So perhaps he really intends to have a genuine investigation. Amazing!

I may be wrong, but I think Suhan caught a glimpse of the red box when it was in Cesur's hand, before he decided to return it to his pocket. I might add that I too am getting rather tired of Sulking Suhan (thanks, VVS--I loved your "She and her Angry Bangs need a barrette").

I was surprised that Adalet didn't seem bothered/upset when Tahsin says that he'll silence Riza when he's released from prison. I could be wrong, but I'm under the impression that Riza has been in prison for 30 years for the murder Adalet committed, her shooting the guy from the orphanage. (She also shot Hasan, but his death was ruled a suicide.) I would have thought she'd be grateful to Riza for taking the blame. Unless, of course, he was set up. I don't think we know anything about this--we'll have to wait for more flashbacks :-).

Amor Val
Juanita, yes, Tahsin looked shocked\ticked that the guy didn't shake hands with him. Ha ha.

Amor val

VVS, yes, we have another Angrybangs in this show. This one often gives the one eyed stink eye , so she could use a barrette.

Amor Val

Love your “ Angry bangs needs a barrette,VVS!! Lol! It’s funny how “he who” in Hercai and Suhan kinda favor too!!

Thank you Susanlynn and novelera for explaining the ring. I guess I never noticed they didn’t exchange rings at the tense ceremony.

Juanita, your recollection of what has transpired to date is impressive! Thank you for all the reminders and explanations. I like this dizi but just don’t seem to have the time to really, really watch these days so I know I am missing big clues. I thought you and the patio might get a kick out of Sulky Suhan and her Angry Bangs. 😊

I'll put up a brief account of tonight's episode (#28) later tonight.

amor-val
Ep. 28 - p. 1 of 2

As the episode opens, we see the wall of Riza's cell filled with days marked off. We then see Tahsin burning Riza's letter to Cesur. Adalet stands by his side.

Korhan, Hulya, and Cahide are together outside the police station. Korhan insists that Hulya stop lying and tell the truth or he'll turn her over to the police. Cahide says she's afraid if he does that, Hulya will show the video she has of the naked Korhan. Tahsin will be furious. Hulya claims that someone (she doesn't say who) wanted her to seduce Tahsin, but he married another woman and the guy disappeared. She claims she's in danger and pleads with Korhan to give her her passport and he'll never see her again. She then says she's not feeling well and needs to use the bathroom. While she's in the bathroom, Korhan stupidly takes Cahide into the police office. Hulya then makes her escape. Korhan is furious, but Cahide points out that they still have Hulya's passport and other documents.

Cesur's mother is angry with him for being rude to Suhan's father, whose name she clearly doesn't know.

Cesur is concerned about what the mail carrier brought him. He's told that the mailbox is empty. He thinks back to Tahsin's arrival and suspects Tahsin intercepted the mail carrier. He voices these concerns in a call to Banu.

Tahsin has apparently arranged for the 3 dismissed officials (Mehmet, the DA, and the third guy, who may be a judge) to meet him at a remote setting in the country, away from everyone else. The DA says he was always afraid this would happen. Mehmet says that "imprisoning that man was a big mistake." [I'm not at all sure who "that man" refers to. Riza?] The DA and the judge decide to leave the meeting. As they're walking away, the judge expresses his fear that Tahsin will find a way to get away, but they won't. The DA tells him to relax, "Tahsin can't give Adalet up, that's why he needs us." Meanwhile, Mehmet stays with Tahsin. He says, "I'm not going anywhere until the guy pays for my brother's death." [I think "the guy" Mehmet is referring to is Cesur.]

Cesur goes to the post office and asks who is in charge of delivering mail to his house. He's told it's Ali Sabbagh. Cesur leaves his phone number and asks that they have Ali Sabbagh call him. Tell him it's urgent.

Cesur then comes upon a large group of workers meeting with Mihriban. She is trying to get them to stand up for their rights. Some agree, others think they're better off not making waves. "Even if Cesur is a good guy, when he leaves, who will protect us?" Cesur gets into the middle of the meeting and urges them to demand their rights. Gradually, the people agree to fight and to sue. Adalet comes by and asks Cesur, "Aren't you ashamed of endangering the workers?" Cesur points out to the crowd that Adalet is married to Tahsin, a cheat and a murderer.

At Suhan's company, Suhan makes it clear which perfume bottles she wants reproduced. Sirin apparently wasn't paying attention. When someone comes to pick up the bottles to be reproduced, she gives him the one Suhan did NOT want reproduced, the one with the poem engraved on it.

Hulya is on the phone with Cahide. Cahide tells her she should be ashamed. Hulya replies, "This was all your idea, and I should be ashamed?" Hulya then tells her that Korhan gave himself to her while she held him.

Suhan and Cesur talk. She tells him that she hopes her father is innocent, and she hopes Cesur is innocent. She wants Cesur to catch the murderer, and she doesn't want it to be her father.

The workers return to Suhan's company. Cesur changed their minds. "Cesur did that?" a stunned Suhan asks.

amor-val
#28 - p. 2 of 2

Korhan is sitting by himself outside in the dark. Cahide comes to find him. He tells her he's been thinking about Cesur, and a lot of their suspicions don't seem to make sense. "Why would Cesur send Hulya to our house? Hulya continually lies. It makes no sense to blame Cesur."

Tahsin is upset. He has just learned that 58 people have filed a complaint against him, and the number is likely to grow. He calls Mehmet and tells him we have to find a solution immediately. Mehmet is in a car with several goons. He drops them off somewhere and tells them to be sure not to be identified.

The man who picked up the perfume bottle returns to Suhan's store with a carton of the reproduced bottle. Suhan says this isn't the right bottle. Just then, Cesur appears. He sees the bottles and is pleased. Suhan tells him they're the wrong bottles, and she can't use them. She says she wants to give one (or more than one?) to his mother, to make her happy. Cesur says he'll take one as his St. Valentine's gift. He has also brought a basket of food for the two of them.
They sit and eat and talk. He mentions that they've been married for 30 days, and they should celebrate. He brings out the red box with the ring. "When things changed, I didn't have a chance to give this to you. Your father said he didn't believe in your love. I thought you should wear this ring. You are my wife, and you should wear it always." Suhan tells him she has to get back to work. She leaves, and we see her smile as she looks at the ring.

Chaos erupts in the town. People are running through the streets smashing windows and yelling "Korludag is cruel" and "We want justice." It's not clear what has caused this. At first I thought they were goons that Mehmet unleashed to cause trouble, but apparently they're just ordinary workers, though I'm not really sure.

Suhan is on her way back to her store when Korhan calls. Her face falls, and she immediately turns around, presumably to go find Cesur and tell him what she has just learned: there's chaos in the streets, and her store windows have been broken.

Tahsin is on the phone with Mehmet: "You were removed from your post, and this is what happens."

The workers are fighting among themselves. Some blame Tahsin, while others say Cesur is to blame. Tahsin appears on the scene. Someone throws a rock that hits Tahsin in the head. Gunshots are heard as the episode ends.

amor-val

As you can see, there's a lot I didn't include and much I found confusing about last night's episode. (So what else is new?) I'm hoping that, as usual, everyone's comments will make things much clearer.

Amor val

Juanita, thanks for the recap. Wow, first that guy wouldn't shake hands with Tahsin , and now somebody beaned him with a rock. Things are not looking so good for Bad Dad who has evidently had the locals under his thumb for many years . I get a kick out of Adalet always coming out of her drugstore to give Cesar the stink eye whenever he comes to town. Be afraid ...I am going to stare at you. Well, everyone stares at Cesar because he is fine .

I didnt get mail yesterday . Should I confront my rural route mail person ? How did Cesar know that someone had tampered with his mail ?

Amor Val

So ..did one of Mehmet's hired rabble rousers bean Tahsin , and Cesar is somehow going to be blamed for inciting the people against Tahsin? Tahsin looked like he hadn't signed up for that beaning. Has Mehmet become a loose cannon ? The strategy seems to be " Cesar did it" no matter what happens . Is Korhan really starting to doubt this ?

amor-val

Thanks very much, Susanlynn, for your comments. I loved your "Well, everyone stares at Cesar because he is fine." Yup! As for what aroused Cesur's suspicions, I think it was the fact that the mailbox was empty, even though the mail carrier had come. Clearly, he wouldn't have come if he hadn't had mail to deliver there. So Cesur thinks back to Tahsin and the mail carrier outside the door. And someone (I don't remember who) tells Cesur that the mail carrier arrived and then Tahsin almost immediately afterward. I think that's when Cesur decided that Tahsin had intercepted the mail carrier and taken mail intended for Cesur.

I'm glad to see that you, too, are somewhat mystified by what provoked the rabble rousers. I'm puzzled, too. Perhaps someone else on the patio has figured it out. If not, I guess we'll have to keep scratching our heads over the weekend. Have a good one!

amor-val

I appreciate the recap Juanita! Thank you! There were definitely a lot of inferences about a lot of things but I am pretty sure it was Tashin and Mehmet behind the “attack” on the businesses.

Cesur called Banu to ask her if the court would ever send any important document via snail mail. He did notice the mail guy had a folder with him and it was strange that nothing was in the actual mail box. Check the surveillance cameras Cesur!

Mehmet dropped the hooligans off and told them to make a scene and not get caught. They then covered their faces with ski masks and tossed the rocks into the store fronts, making sure the Pharmacy was attacked. When the crowd gathered it was the masked (now unmasked) guys claiming Cesur was the problem and instigating the violence. All this time Tashin and Mehmet played innocent. Claiming that things were so much better when they were in charge.

I am positive it was one of the plants who hit Tashin in the head with a rock and who fired shots.

Glad to see Suhan was less sulky and seemed to like her ring. I loved the mistake of the poem atomizer. It was just meant to be. I sure it will be a huge Valentine’s Day hit!

Korhan at least was making an attempt to figure out what was going on with Hulya.

I am definitely one who stares at Cesur because he is fine!

amor-val

Thanks so much, Juanita. You did a great job with the "confusion reigns" events. Are Turkish people quicker on the uptake than our patio folks? Is bad translation at fault, as dondi 356 has mentioned?

Yes, I am quite sure Mehmet had those guys do the vandalism. Maybe they exceeded his wishes. I would be surprised if Tahsin wanted Adalet's pharmacy windows smashed. Or maybe that's what he actually wanted so as to divert attention from his being behind it.

Thanks for mentioning the 58 complaints. Cesur is brilliant at getting these folks stirred up. I was not sure if he was stirring up the local olive growers or the glass factory workers. Maybe both. I liked the exchange between Suhan and the woman who seems to be some sort of foreman (forewoman?) at the factory. Suhan was grateful, and the woman was sort of telling her they'd been wrong to put her in a pickle about her glass orders.

I have seen this movie before, as they say. A reluctant woman is slowly, but surely, courted by a galán. Fernando Colunga is a master at this. Viewerville, on our respective sofas, yells at the woman: "Get over yourself; this guy is solid gold and hot, hot, hot."

amor-val

Many thanks, VVS and novelera, for your very helpful comments. I now agree with you about Mehmet and, to a lesser degree Tahsin, being the instigators of the chaos. Seems only fitting that Tahsin should get hit in the head and Adalet's pharmacy window get broken. I mean, something good has to come of it. :-)

Amor Val

Thank you Juanita! Great recap as always! I was a “bit” less confused this episode, lol, but I did have to wonder if Mean Daddy knew the extent to which Mehmet would go to when he told him to “do something!” Mean daddy and his trio junior mafia are the behind the scenes guys who get everyone else to do their dirty work. I wonder if it was Mean daddy who taught them this move seeing as how Mean daddy is an expert at not “killing anyone by his own hands.” Mehmet is another one that has got to go! I hope they find him guilty of anything and take his position away from him for good!

Cesur is fine! Lol! And he’s smart and charming and honest. He’s made it clear to Suhan many times that he’s out to get her father, so I don’t really understand why she doesn’t trust him?? I kinda enjoyed their little dinner together, but I wish Suhan wouldn’t feel the need to constantly hold what she feels for him back. He’s already won her over, so what is holding back accomplishing?

I was proud of Korhan for a moment. He’s starting to use that bald head of his, and letting some reasoning sink in. I just hope he gives it back to Cahide in spades once he figures out what she’s been up too…..

Long day at work…..going to bed lol….. I love the patio’s thoughts and comments. This definitely is a dizi that makes you think!!

amor-val

Thanks very much, carmella. I really appreciate your taking time to comment even after a long day at work.

I agree that it's frustrating to watch Suhan vacillate between love and distrust, but I can understand her predicament. We have seen from the start what a nasty piece of work Tahsin is, but she has known him her whole life only as her loving father. She is now beginning to understand how limited and distorted that view is, but it's painful for her. She has fallen in love with a man who wants vengeance against her father, and she's pulled in two directions at once. It's not surprising that she vacillates. Indeed, to me it seems emotionally more realistic, though frustrating to watch.

As for Mehmet and Mean Daddy, I think Mehmet didn't need Mean Daddy to tell him to "do something." IIRC, when Tahsin said this to him over the phone, Mehmet was already in his car with the goons he had recruited to create chaos.

Amor Val

I actually agree with you regarding Suhan’s predicament. My “small,” ——and it is small, lol, issue with her is that she does trust Cesur to do what he says he will do regarding Mean daddy, she just doesn’t want him too, and needs to tell him so——repeatedly—-instead of becoming bipolar. Cesur loves her and a big part of that reason is how Mean daddy loved and raised her. She’s got a piece of his DNA and Cesur needs to accept that…..

Not a winning situation by any means though…… she needs to get pregnant and that will soften everybody especially Mean daddy! Just kidding, I know pregnancy is not the answer to every situation except that these dizi’s seem to love it! Lol…..

Amor Val

Hi all of you on the AV patio. Wishing you all patriotic Red, White and Blue holiday cheer today. It took me all week to catch up.

Thanks for Friday's recap, Juanita! ITA that Suhan has many of her father's traits, that she's pulled in two directions at once, that she's coming to terms with how outsiders --all of whom she respects to a certain extent--view her father with a very jaundiced eye and the reasons for it which, bit by bit start to add up. ITA that she's in love with a man who seeks revenge for those specific reasons also. However, I would add selfishness to the mix. Did she or did she not let him make love to her somewhere along the line? Which bedroom has she been sleeping in all this time? Why make love to a man you don't trust? How do you make love with the man you love and truly care about once and not again--especially one who is a tripple alpha male just oozing with masculine pheromones--and who's proven to be so noble not only to her and those in his care and employ over and over? She is a bit of a selfish conceited rich bitch who I think secretly loves to make this man suffer. Sorry. I think that is the toxic Tahsin genes in her.
