Caray, Caray!

Hey, JudyB,  it is warm on the patio tonight. We brought out some fans to help cool  off.   Tonight we have a selection of fresh fruit: cherries, grapes, pineapple, watermelon, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, mango, cantaloupe, honeydew melon and lots of icy drinks. Save me a seat near a fan. I need it! 

1.  Olga talks way too long telling Natalia how she is done with Chente. She realizes that Chente doesn't care for her at all because of how mean he is to her.  The wedding is canceled. Natalia says Chente talked to her about the doubts that he had but she refuses to get involved because that's something that is between him and Olga. Olga  tells Natalia that she is going to get an abortion. Natalia tries to talk her out it. Olga says she cannot bring a baby into the world condemned to live without their father. It is her body and her decision. 

2. Chente goes to visit 2XJosé to give him the good news.  They have a lawyer and a real clever one at that. It turns out that Simba was able to give his statement before he died and he told the truth. They will be able to get 2X out of jail real soon. 2X is relieved because jail has been such a nightmare for him.

3. Natalia tells Julián that she will have his order ready for his event.  He tells her that he is interested  in  franchising  her fonda.  Natalia is excited as well as JuanGa.   Julián will give her an advance so she can buy what equipment she needs. Natalia says once things are progressing, they can sit down and talk about future plans. Julián has faith in her and her cooking ability. It is only a matter of giving the business time to grow. 

4. Claudio is passed out sleeping at the bar. The bartender gives him his bill from the night before. None of the other patrons will help him pay. The bartender calls the police. 

5. Julián wants to talk to Teresa about the two of them. She is happy with things as they are.  He would like to marry her. Her phone rings saving her from answering him. It is Claudio begging her for help because he is being arrested. 

6. Lorenzo is getting ready to leave the hospital. Regina tells Lorenzo she went to see 2X. He wants to know why. She says she wanted to know how he was doing.  Lorenzo is not happy that she still thinks that 2X is innocent. He calls 2X insulting names as Regina insists that 2X is innocent  and was not Simba's accomplice. Lorenzo thinks she is so gullible. Regina says the real culprit paid for what he did to him. He just died. Lorenzo isn't buying it and says 2X won't be out on the streets again in years.

7. Teresa goes  to see Claudio at the jail. He refuses to accept he is an alcoholic and needs help. She agrees to pay his bar bill but is leaving him in jail to dry out.

8. Regina and Lorenzo keep arguing about 2X. He tells her that there is nothing she can do to prevent 2X from rotting in jail.  She tells Lorenzo that he isn't the good guy she thought he was. He is full of revenge and hate.  Lorenzo isn't changing his mind. He wants justice.  Regina has had it and  is done with him. He is okay with that because he is bored with her. He went through too much of a rigamarole to get her,  the "social climber" that she is, into bed. She makes him repeat it and he does: to get her into bed.  She slaps him.

9. Chente visits with Natalia in the kitchen. She invites him to Andrea's wedding. He cannot come because  that is the same day as his wedding to Olga.  Natalia tells him he is doing the right thing.  They talk about "what ifs" and cry. 

10. Connie  is finishing off a bottle of wine. She b*tiches and moans about her life to poor Delia. When Delia tells her to make peace with her family, she explodes and tells her to mind her own business and sends her out of the room. Connie relapses into fantasy land  deciding that she cannot drink because she is pregnant as she rubs her belly. Her baby will be here very soon.

11. Andrea and Omar joyfully talk about their baby

12. Chente tells Olga that the wedding is on. Olga is overjoyed having finally gotten what she wanted all along.

ONE WEEK LATER

13. Olga is getting all dressed for her wedding at the boarding house. Kim helps her out. Olga only wishes that her mother could see her. She got what she wanted. This will be the happiest day of her life. Vale and Chole look uncomfortable. 

14. Andrea is all dressed for her wedding. Natalia tells her how beautiful she looks; just like a princess.  Tere and Regina join them in this happy moment. Regina teases her saying that she has changed from being a bitter ogre into a goddess for the wedding. Yes, Adrián is downstairs ready to take Andrea to the church. 

15. Chole says she is not happy with Olga's wedding but she wishes her the best. Olga says she knows it must be hard on her knowing that she will never be marrying the man she loves like she is. Kim hopes JuanGa proposes to her. Olga says that will never happen because JuanGa will never take her seriously. He knows she is one of those girls you don't take home. As for Vale, Olga tells her that she had better not think that Mario will ever marry her because in his mind, she will always be a mechanic from the hood.  Chole tells Olga she never changes. 

16. It is time for Claudio  to leave jail and confront the world but he is unsure about what he will do when it comes to alcohol. The guard explains that he has the same problem. He found the answer in an organization and taking one day at a time. The first step is recognizing you have a problem. He offers to be Claudio's sponsor.  He tells Claudio that the most important thing that he has done is make up his mind to change. 

17. Adrián goes upstairs to see Andrea. Tere is left downstairs with Natalia. She knows that Natalia is upset about Chente's wedding. Natalia doesn't want to spoil Andrea's day with her sadness. 

18. Adrián goes up to see Andrea is her room. He cannot believe he is going to give Andrea away at the altar. He goes on to say that Regina will be looking like her sister in a few years at her own wedding.  Regina snaps back that she is never getting married because she will not expose herself to getting hurt like he hurt their mother. Adrián kisses Andrea's hand and goes back downstairs. Andrea lets Regina have it for making that comment to their father.  Regina reminds her that the police are after him. Andrea disagrees. Elías is the criminal. Andrea say she is acting just like Lorenzo condemning somebody with no  proof. Regina does not agree at all but changes the topic to wedding traditions. Does Andrea have something old, something new, something borrowed, some thing blue?  

19. As Chente is getting ready, JuanGa is upset because Chente looks so sad. JuanGa says there is still time for him to get out of it. They will hide him if necessary where Olga will never find him. JuanGa says he is serious. They have to have a plan in case Chente backs out at the last minute.  JuanGa says when they ask if there is anyone who objects to this marriage, he can have Kim shout and faint and get everyones's attention while Chente makes a run for it to find Natalia. They know she's the only one that will make him truly happy.  Chente makes a point of saying it has nothing to do with happiness. It is about the child he is expecting with Olga. 

20. Downstairs, Adrián sees Natalia all sad and brings up the topic of Chente marrying Olga. He asks if it isn't time for her to "turn the page" so to speak? She tells him that she will never find a man again in her life with such pure thoughts as Chente  or somebody who loves her as strongly as he did without any selfishness or maliciousness. She doesn't want to hurt Adrián, but it was at Chente's side that she came to know true love.  

21. Andrea and Regina come downstairs. Natalia lets the girls go ahead to the church with their father. 

22. Elías and Vero are are smooching when he should be on the way to the wedding.

23. Chole tells Olga that her hired car is waiting for her outside.  Olga doesn't want Chente to see her in her dress before the church. Chole goes to get her purse.  JuanGa comes downstairs and sees Olga and tells her she looks like an angel. He always imagined her looking like that waiting for him at the altar.  She tells him to stop saying things like that to her because she is his sister-in-law now. She asks him to not make a scene at the wedding. He promises he won't. 

24. Chole helps Olga with her dress getting into the limo. Olga tells Chole she is going to the church  alone in her rented limo. She doesn't need her with her comments and bad vibes along for the ride. 

25. Natalia is crying in the kitchen all by herself thinking back on Chente. Fernanda comes by to pick her up tp take her to the church. Natalia tells her Chente is getting married today and she is dying from the pain of it all.

26. Chente tells Ben how they are going to form a new family with Olga and her baby. Ben looks sad but reluctantly agrees he will cooperate. He wants to meet his little brother or sister.

27. Chente and  his brothers take photos with Ben with Ben's phone. 

28. Andrea gets married to Omar. Everyone looks happy except for Elías. Adrián tries to hold Natalia's hand but she snatches it away. 

29. Olga suddenly has the company of two of Simba's friends in the limo sitting next to her in the back seat on either side. They accuse her of betraying Simba.  She isn't going to the church. They have another destination in mind for her.

30. Everyone at the church is waiting for Olga. The priest warns them that if Olga is too late they will have to shorten the ceremony since he has a baptism scheduled right after the wedding. 

31. Chente is nervous because Olga is still not there. He asks Juanga to call Chole. The only phone they have with them is Ben's. Chente  asks JuanGa to give him Ben's phone so he can see his photo with Ben. After he sees the photo, he discovers the video of Olga manhandling and tormenting Ben by threatening to call the police and tell them that he is a boy murderer so he will up in jail like 2X. Chente  watches the whole thing and he looked enraged and sickened at the same time. 

32. Outside of the church, Chole and Tere are with 2X and Kim. Chole and Kim are worried that something happened to Olga. An angry JuanGa comes out of the church looking for that wretch Olga. She was terrorizing Ben. He announces to everyone that Olga is going to pay for everything she did to Ben. He tells them about the videos where they saw her mistreating the boy.  Nobody knows where she is. 

33. Olga is out in the forest being chased and manhandled by Simba's two buddies. One has a gun. They start to rip her wedding dress off and push her to the ground. They blame Simba's death on her because she lied and told people that he had raped her. They decide to make that a reality so she doesn't have to make it up.
