Caray, Caray!

Hey, JudyB,  Happy Fourth of July!! We are on full cookout mode tonight on the patio. We have burgers, hot-dogs, ribs and chicken with all of the accompanying snacks and sides including baked beans, mac and cheese and of course coleslaw and potato salad. Sundaes, apple pie a la mode, peach cobbler  along with  s'mores rounds out our dessert selection.  It s a BYOB kind of evening, so if the soft drinks, wine and beer, don't quite do it, feel free to bring something more to your taste. 

1. Elías tells Connie that the plan is for her to "die" tonight. She isn't too keen on the idea and asks why they cannot wait a couple of days since this is not a very easy thing to do. He assures her that she will be kept at a well-guarded safe house until she is ready to leave the country with the baby.  She wants to see her "son"  born. Elías makes the point that for all of this to work, it has to be done as he has decided. There is no time to postpone anything. He has it all arranged. He wats her "dead" tonight with her family around her body. She has the rest of the day to take care of any pending issues. He gives her a bottle of pills to take tonight and tells her to get somebody to call an ambulance for her. He will see her later. 

2. Chole is having an ultrasound. Tavo never thought that life would give him the happiness of being a father.  It turns out that they are having a baby girl. 

3. Elías and Vero are kissing. She pulls away peeved reminding  him that she asked him for a favor two months ago and he hasn't done anything  about it. He insists that there is nothing that he cannot do and has a private investigator's report for her. Before he gives it to her, he wants to know why it is so important.  She says that he said that Adrián was an indispensable  part of his business when it came to money laundering. He reminds her that nobody is indispensable and as a matter of fact, he is looking for a replacement. Mario is one of the candidates he has in mind. That makes Vero laugh. He is done being everyone's doormat and is ready to be where the money is. Elías assures her that he can control him like puppet. Vero mentions that Mario isn't the same stupid person that he was before. He looks at some papers  and says that they all go along with the favor that she asked of him. Vero tells him to consider it a weapon to destroy Adrián with. He will have to trust her because she is not about to put all of her cards out on the table. She kisses him and leaves with the investigator's report. 

4. Mario comes into the garage with Fernanda's car. He is doing her a favor dropping it off for her because the battery is going.  He gives  Vale the key saying Fernanda would be by later to pick it up. She asks if he is  going out with with Fernanda again. He isn't saying

5. At the AA meeting, Claudio has received his two month sobriety token. He thanks his "godfather" (sponsor) and all of the others for helping him find hope and showing him the way in his battle. He sees this as a small victory in his long journey to recuperate from  his illness. He wants to dedicate it all to the love of his life: Tere.  He hugs her as everyone applauds. She tells Claudio that she knows this has not been easy for him. She is very proud of him.

6. A creepy Connie has decided to visit Andrea who is still  on bed rest.  Andrea is sick and tired of everyone exaggerating about her condition. She feels teh baby kick and goes to readjust her position soon the bed. She guides Connie's hand on her belly so she can feel the baby kick. Andrea thinks he is gong to be a soccer player. Omar comes in.  Andrea tells Connie that  she doesn't want to be rude but she really needs to sleep. Creepy Connie understands. As Creepy Connie gets crazier talking to the baby as she says goodbye and  telling him she will see him really soon, Andrea and Omar exchange troubled looks. 

7. Natalia has prepared a huge pot of pozole using Granny Magos' recipe and the whole family is around the table to enjoy it. Natalia remarks finally the whole family is at the table minus Andrea and Omar because Andrea  needs her rest. JuanGa spoons out the soup as Chente and Natalia embrace looking at the table full of family and then kiss. Even Heliodoro is there. GrannyMagos says her pozole is as delicious as her Heliodoro's kisses. They try to steal a kiss behind Heliodoro's hat.  Ben says they are novios and everyone laughs good naturedly. Chente tells Natalia that there is nothing like  listening to his son laugh. Natalie is confident that with therapy and twelve of his family, he will recover from Olga's mistreatment of him. Chente hopes that evil woman never comes back. 

8. Olga has been unconscious at a hospital for a couple of months now.  She is not breathing on her own and is intubated. Only her fingers are moving. 

9. Elías tells Adrián he has made a decision and is seriously intending to involve Mario in their illegal business. Adrián is not pleased since Mario is not as cold-blooded as they are. Elías has noticed how ambitious Mario is albeit in small matters and likes that. Adrián tells him to think about it. Who else can they blame if things go badly? Elías says that doesn't have to change but he wants Mario to meet with him. He warns Adrián to have his books in order because the first thing he wants Mario to determine is if Adrián has a been stealing from him. 

10. Mario tells the detectives he is working with  that Elías is starting to trust him and wants to involve him in the business. He is advised to take things slowly and be cautious. Mario is aware of the risks. If Elías  or Adrián find out he is an informant, he could end up dead but he cannot rest until those criminals explain his sister's death. 

11. At the garage, Tavo announces yes that he and Chole are  having a baby girl. Vale and Donovan are happy and excited. Tavo could hear the baby's heart beat and felt a happiness he never felt before. He cannot wait until he can hold her in his arms and cover her with kisses. 

12. Creepy Connie arrives in a nasty mood ready to rain on Tavo's parade unable to bear to hear him talking like he is about his  "spawn." Tavo doesn't want to hear anything from her after she snatched his happiness away  by her lies tricks, and abuse over the years.  He and Chole are  finally getting their due: a family full of love. Creepy Connie turns and leaves in tears.  

13. In the hallway, Adrián confronts Mario asking him what kind of game he is  playing. He is no more than a chess piece. He was never made for the big leagues. Mario reminds him that a pawn can overcome the king with the right move. Adrián reminds him of the big deal he has  made  about being an honest man. Mario suggests that he look at how he acts himself showing off his "honesty"  around  Natalia when he is only a disgusting criminal. 

14. Fernanda comes to pick up her car at the garage. When Vale brushes her off,  Fernanda insists on talking to her. It comes out that Vale still thinks that Fernanda is going out  with Mario. Fernanda tells her she is confused. They are only friends. Vale says it doesn't matter anyway because she and Mario are done. She thinks that Fernanda should give it another try with Mario because she is everything he wants in a woman. She won't get involved. She only wants Fernanda to make him happy. Fernanda tells her she is wrong again. She did go out with Mario for a while but cut it off when she discovered that Mario only had room in his heart for one woman and that woman was her (Vale). Mario loves her. She tells Vale to get all dressed up and go in her place out to dinner with Mario tonight.  She wants her to surprise him and straighten things out between them. Vale thanks her. 

15. Mario tells Adrián that he is sick of being a clean player and being honest because it has gotten him nowhere. He doesn't have even half of what he and Elías have in terms of money or power. Adrián thinks he is setting his sites way too high.  Mario suspects what is really bothering Adrián is that Elías suspects that Adrián is keeping a nice cut for himself our of all of the money he is laundering. He asks Adrián if he is still the same betraying rat he has always been.  Adrián grabs him by his lapels telling him if he values his life, he will have to choose his words more carefully. Mario asks if he is going to kill him just like he did his sister. Adrián pushes him away calling him crazy and asks what he is talking about. Mario tells  him to look him in the eye and tell him that he killed his sister.  Adrián looks confused. 

16. Chole is watering plants outside on the second floor at the  rooming house when Creepy Connie comes calling. She tries to sneak up on Chole but Chole turns around. Creepy Connie starts to choke Chole. 

17. Vero comes to visit the unconscious Olga. She tells her she has no idea everything she had to do to find her. She grudgingly had to call in a favor from Elías but as she is in her current state,  she isn't worth more than a piece of garbage to her. 

18. Creepy Connie keeps up her attack on Chole who begs for her baby's life.  Creepy Connie tells Chole  AKA "a damn slut"  that her "spawn" with Tavo is never going to live after all the years she went without having a baby of her own. Chole shouts for help the best she can.  Natalia comes in and sees what is happening but stops and watches as Creepy Connie tries to push Chole over the railing. She FINALLY runs upstairs as Creepy Connie warns her not to get involved or she will  throw Chole over the railing. 

19. Adrián is telling Mario that he was in Mexico when his sister killed herself. Mario insists he killed her so she wouldn't incriminate him.  Adrián says he went to abroad  to bring his sister's ashes back to him not for any other reason.  He wanted to regain Mario's friendship.  Mario laughs in his face and  says he never was his friend. He proved that when he got involved with the  woman he was going to get married to. Adrián blames it all on Vero.

20. Natalia tells Creepy Connie not to do anything or  she will be sorry for the rest of her life. All Creepy Connie is sorry for is that she didn't get rid of this miserable  hairdresser long before she stole Tavo away.  Creepy Connie raves on telling Chole to shut up. An old man from  the neighborhood comes in and sees what is happening and leaves in a  hurry. 

21. Vero tells Olga that she is sure that Adrián was behind what happened to her. It wasn't convenient for him that  she knew so many of his secrets and was expecting a baby of his. She grabs Olga's mask and asks her if she doesn't want to get  her revenge. She calls Olga "stupid' and orders her to open her damn eyes already. . . and Olga does. Olga has regained consciousness but can only moan. 

22. The old man goes to get Chente, Tavo and the other guys in the hood to rescue Chole. 

23. Creepy Connie pushes Chole over the edge of the railing and she ends up hanging by her hands trying not to fall.

24. Chente, Tavo and the other guys  arrive and grab Chole and help her down. Natalia holds Creepy Connie tightly as she still struggles to break free. 

25.  Adrián cannot believe that Mario  would fall for another one of Vero's lies. He admits that besides being lovers, he and Vero were also accomplices.  Mario says they both disgust him.  Adrián tells him he better get used to the nausea he feels because that is the kind of rotten world he is entering when he gets into business with him and Adrián. He will have lots of money but it will be stained with the blood of decent people.  If he doesn't have the stomach for that,  he should just  go on with his mediocre life.  Mario tells him he isn't going back. Adrián tells him he doesn't have the guts. Mario laughs again. He is there  ready for everything. Adrián warns him about trusting Elías. If he is going to swim with the sharks, he had better be his ally because if he doesn't he will end up like his sister;  ashes  in an urn. Mario refuses to be frightened. If Adrián plans on destroying him, he promises him he will get rid of him first.  Mario isn't  afraid of a man like him. Adrián makes a point of telling him that a man like he was able to betray his wife, end a perfect marriage, abandon the daughters who he loved most in this life.  A man like he is one who doesn't know how to lose. 

26. . Tavo comforts Chole as Natalia brings her sister down the stairs. Natalia asks Chole if she is okay. She says that she is. Tavo tells CreepyConnie that he swears she is going to be sorry for what she did and leads Chole away. JuanGa suggests they call the "nuthouse" to take Creepy Connie away. Her elevator doesn't go all the way to the top.  Chente quiets him down. Natalia tells Creepy Connie that she needs help. She has completely lost her mind. Creepy Connie tells her that she doesn't understand.  She is lost. She cries in Natalia's arms.

27. A doctor comes to do a house call!!!! He listens to  Chole's baby's heart beat and tells Chole that she is fine. Her heartbeats are strong. He  suggests that Chole  rest for the remainder of the day. If there is a problem, they should feel free to call him. Tavo tries to assure Chole that everything is fine now. She is worried about Creepy Connie returning. He says he will take care of it so Creepy Connie doesn't bother her again. 

28. Samia and Elías are eating at the club. He wonders why she is so quiet. She has been thinking when he doesn't come home to sleep at night, that maybe she should follow Natalia's example and get rid of him  for being unfaithful to her. He doesn't think she would like to expose herself to such a social scandal. He knows that she likes being the wife of the powerful Elías Haddad. His last name fascinates her and defines her. She is nothing without him. She reminds him she comes from a very prestigious family. He tells her that her family was broke when she married him. It was a business arrangement from the start and he will decide when it ends. He tells her to stop her tears and look like the wife he likes to show off.  She goes to the restroom to fix her makeup. 

29. After, Samia leaves the table. Elías drinks her wine. Vero calls. She needs a favor. He thinks she might be asking for one too many. She reminds him how much he enjoys her paying those favors back.  She needs a large donation for a hospital. He doesn't do donations. She says that is the cost of getting a patient discretely released. He guesses it is Olga. He is intrigued by Vero's interest in Olga. He will consider it a good investment. He hangs up and goes back to eating. 

30. Vale has come to get her hair done and finds Chole in bed. When she finds out what happened, she wishes she had been there to take care of Creepy Connie with her fists.  Chole thanks her. Tavo assures her that he will take care of Creepy Connie. Vale says it better be soon.  Vale  explains she has "kind of a date"  with Mario.  That is why she wanted her hair done. Chole sends her running to see if she can catch Kim at the beauty shop. 

31. Natalia and Tere are counseling Creepy Connie at the house. Natalia suggests she go to a place to rest that Fernanda recommended. Creepy Connie cannot see herself shut up anywhere like in a psychiatric hospital. Natalia insists that is is a clinic where  trained professionals can find out why she is having the crisis she is having  and put an end to it. Tere tries to console her and Creepy Connie screams for her to shut up in her face. She sees the two of them as her enemies which Natalie tells her has never been true. Natalia begs her to get help for her own good. First, Creepy Connie wants to go to her own home and put on something more comfortable and maybe pack a bag. Natalie says she will take her. Creep Connie doesn't want Tere to come with.  

32. Vero has brought Olga home with her. Juanita is charged with looking after her. Juanita says what if she tries to leave. Vero tells her to take control of her like she used to do with  her when she was a  little kid. Juanita thinks now that she should have been harder on Vero to mitigate all of the aberrations she showed. 

33. Adrián calls Vero needing to talk to her at there house. She says they can talk but not at her house. She says there is nobody there with her but she is so bored. She wants to go out. He agrees to take her out to the restaurant she likes so much. She will met him in an hour. 

34. At Creepy Connie's house, Natalie offers to help her pack her bag. Connie starts trying to postpone going anywhere that evening because it is so late. Natalie says that Fernanda has it already arranged for her to be received tonight. Creepy Connie sarcastically calls her "Saint Fernanda." 

35. Tavo tells Chente and his brothers that Chole is okay. He is going out because he has something very important to do and would like them to keep an eye on Chole for him.  When Chente asks where he is going, Tavo isn't talking and tells him to not get involved. 

36. Creepy Connie now has decided that maybe she needs a bath. Natalia says fine. She will continue packing. Connie tells her not to forget her face creams. 

37. In the bathroom, Creepy Connie runs the shower. She then takes a handful of pills out of the bottle and swallows them. 

38. Adrián and Vero are chatting. Vero tells Adrián that he can stop worrying  because Chente has no idea that the baby that Olga is expecting is Adrián's.  Vero says she talked to Chente herself and could see why Natalia was so taken by him. Adrián says he needs to find Olga to shut her up. She knows too much. Vero concludes she must be very well hidden but he needn't worry because she is going to find her. Adrián asks her to keep her nose out of this one. He will take care of this one himself. She asks if he doesn't trust her. He asks: a venomous snake like her?? He never would trust her. She reminds him they are lovers and accomplices. She is with him. He is wondering  about that since she told Mario that he killed his sister. 

39. Chente is going for Claudio's gun that Chente gave him to hold. Tavo now feels he has to get rid of Creepy Connie to protect Chole and his daughter. Chente tries to talk him out of doing such a crazy thing. Tavo says that Creepy Connie is the crazy one. He tells Chente that he would be singing a different tune if it was Olga after Ben. Chente cannot convince him to stop. 

40. Natalia calls out for CreepyConnie to hurry up as she finishes packing her bag.  CreepyConnie is not steady on her feet anymore in the bathroom and is not answering her. She falls on the floor and Natalia goes to the bathroom to find out what is going on.  Creepy Connie does  to answer because she has passed out on the floor. Natalia tries to open the door but it is locked.

41. Olga is tied by her arms to the bed frame. Juanita is reading a magazine as she wakes ups and asks where she is.  Olga calls for help as she insists she has to go to her wedding to  Chente. She starts to shout for help. Juanita is in no mood for nonsense. She slaps Olga  and grabs her by her hair. Olga is given the choice of calming herself down or having a problem with Juanita. She quiets down.

42. Adrián cannot understand how Vero would come up with something like him killing Tania. Vero tells him not to worry about it because nothing will come of it with Mario. Adrián wants to know what really happened to Tania. Vero explains that she was obsessed with her always looking for her approval. She admired her way too much. When Adrián left her high and dry with no money,  Tania left her.  So much for not being able to live with out her. She didn't find out about Tania's death until she was in London. Adrián says that they say that poison is the murder method of choice  for women and Tania ended up poisoned.  Vero adds "by her own hand." She says she will take his words into account if one day he betrays her again. She slithers over to kiss him just as . . .

43. Fernanda comes in and sees Adrián and Vero  and asks why it doesn't surprise her to see those two parasites together.
