Caray, Caray!

1. Deb gets a phone call from Prospi but refuses to answer afraid that they are going to ask her to find somewhere else to live.  Sara is surprised to find out that her mother has been living with Prospi and Rosa but even more surprised to find out that her  mother and Prospi are "only" lovers as Deb artfully puts it.  

2. A pensive Prospi is seated with his phone in the bedroom when a frustrated Rosa comes in complaining about the dinner and how it didn't change a thing. Jessica didn't come back. She asks why he is so serious. He grabs her hands and make her look him in the eyes as he tells her that she needs to make sure that Deb moves out of the house before it is too late. 

3. Sara is incredulous hearing that her mother and Prospi are lovers. Deb doesn't see a problem at all because he is a gentleman and would never say a word to anyone. Sara calls her mother a real home wrecker.   She thought that Rosa was her friend. Deb says that Rosa is nobody's friend and only wants to see her daughters married to the Del Monte boys. Sara put a wrench in the works when she took Juan away from Juli. Sara asks her mother to leave. Deb never thought Sara would get angry. Sara says that it is always the same old story with Deb. She always thinks only of herself and never thinks of the consequences of her actions. Deb informs her that she always has a reason for what she does.  Did she think she would allow what Rosa did to her to go unanswered?  Sara refuses to believe that her mother is avenging Rosa's treatment of her.  She tells her mother to leave and she finally does. 

4. Psycho Pedro tells Juan that it is all the same to him if Modesto comes back or not. He also asks him not to get involved in his decision to bring Tadeo to live at the ranch. An aggravated Juan says the law is on Bea the mother's side. Psycho Pedro says that is Juan's opinion  but he is set on Tadeo coming to live with him. He leaves. Juan follows him. 

5. Deb and Sara are coming downstairs when they hear Psycho Pedro telling Juan that he is sick of him meddling  in everything. Deb comments on how dysfunctional the family is. Psycho Pedro tells her to shut her mouth. Psycho Pedro continues and tells Juan how sick he is of being tied to him, his orders, his super hero "airs." Juan says he does it to keep them all together. Psycho Pedro informs him that it is having the opposite effect. He needs to get that stupid idea that he is somehow untouchable out of his head.  Juan is angry warning him not to talk to him like that. Psycho Pedro knows what he is capable of doing. He has done so much more for the family than he has.  Sara gets in between the brothers to try to calm them down blaming the tension on the company problems. Psycho Pedro announces that Sara will not  be paying one penny of her inheritance to the company because she is guilty of nothing.  Juan says the test results will prove that.  Psycho Pedro says he doesn't have to wait for any test results and will support Sara right now because he likes her. Juan is shocked into silence. Sara tells Psycho Pedro that  he doesn't know what he is saying. Psycho Pedro asks why he has to hide what he feels for her. Juan reminds him that he and Sara have a relationship. Psycho Pedro thinks that, at this time,  Sara could feel the same way about him sash does about him. (Deb  has to comment that the little brothers are having a fight over Sara. ) Juan  knows that Psycho Pedro is only doing this to hurt him but he will not allow Sara to be a pawn in all of this. Sara doesn't like what Psycho Pedro is doing either. Psycho Pedro repeats that he likes Sara, and a lot. She is a strong, smart woman  (Deb proudly smiles in the background) and deserves a different kind of man; a man who is not like Juan. Juan goes crazy as Sara tries to hold him back.  Juan warns Psycho Pedro how he has always had to put up with him competing with him,  but this time he better be careful. (Deb thinks this is a lovely triangle and almost squeals in delight!) Sara tells Psycho Pedro that this fighting over her is senseless. Psycho Pedro doesn't care how she feels about him right now. He assures her that time will take care of them having feelings for each other. Sara looks at him with disgust as he leaves.

6. Prospi,  in his plaid jacket, striped shirt and floral tie, talks around the reason he wants Deb out. He is uncomfortable with her being around. Rosa defends having her friend living there. He thinks Deb is going to cause a lot of conflict in their family. Rosa blames him for all of he problems they are having in the family.  She ridicules him for  how friendly he was eating beans with that family in his ridiculous clothes.  That bothers Prospi because he tried to dress differently so that she would notice him.  Rosa looks at him like he has two heads. He says that every day she seems  less interested in him. Is she still interested in having an intimate relationship with him?  She starts to angrily answer but he shuts her down. He tells her  to say nothing. He thinks it is better that he go out to the garden to get some fresh air. He tells her, in case she doesn't know, that every time she makes a hurtful comment to him, she pushes him farther away. Rosa looks surprised. He explains that this is only a warning and not a ploy. Maybe she can find somebody whom she will find attractive.  Rosa is left confused wondering who has given Prospi such self-assurance??? Who has found Prospi so attractive???

7. Deb tells Sara that she thinks it is really awesome to have two men fighting over her and then with them being brothers and all. It is very exciting!!!  Sara doesn't want to talk about it anymore because Psycho  Pedro is doing it all on a whim. It wouldn't surprise her if he were in cahoots with Simón to throw her off her game even more. Deb says that Pedro won't give up because she has turned into a trophy for both brothers. Deb thinks there is something hidden like envy that goes back to when they were kids. Sara says they only have brotherly love between them PERIOD. She asks her  mother to stay out of it. Deb says she warned her to be careful. Deb kisses her and on her way out  tells Sara that love was invented by poets to make people sigh over money not love. She needs to remember that she is there for money, not love. Sara is left even more puzzled by her mother.

8. Out in the hallway, Deb chats with Psycho Pedro praising him on the good job he did.  She is ready to assist him. He says they didn't have to move a finger up to now and from here on out, he can go it alone with Sara. Deb smiles, turns and leaves.   

9. Juan is thinking abut the argument with Psycho Pedro when Lucas stops by with an idea. He suggests that they plant on the lands adjacent to the Santa Catalina Reserve to expand their crop so they have product to fall back on. Juan says that is not possible because he doesn't want anybody walking around or using machinery on the land near the refuge. Those lands are untouchable.  Lucas notices that Juan is stressed out and asks its it is because of the fertilizer problem. Juan says it isn't that but that Psycho  Pedro just admitted that he LIKES Sara. Lucas looks upset. 

10. Psycho Pedro has come knocking at Sara's door where she tells him that she doesn't want to talk to him. All he is doing is sowing discontent among them all. He says he only came by to say goodnight and apologizes if his honesty is causing a problem but how can he rip out of his heart what he feels for her???  He cannot control it.  She audibly sighs. He finally gets the message and says good night. 

11. It is hard for Lucas to believe that Psycho Pedro likes Sara and he admits that he doesn't like  that Psycho Pedro and Juan are always in competition with each other.  Juan says in this case, Psycho Pedro doesn't have a chance. Lucas says that Psycho Pedro doesn't have any use for women. He has never seen him excited over any woman. He isn't like Juan. What Juan does know is  that Psycho Pedro will do anything to win. Juan explains that before their father saved them, he and Psycho Pedro were very united. Psycho Pedro always needed his protection. That all ended when they moved to the hacienda. That is when everything  turned into a competition. He always wanted to be their father's favorite. Lucas concludes that Psycho Pedro acted that way because Juan always  was their father's favorite. Juan says yes, but he never asked to be. Everyone was treated the same by their father. It is just that he and their father were a lot alike. Lucas says he never was jealous. The only one who had a problem with it was Psycho Pedro. Lucas thinks that Psycho Pedro is a good person but if he really likes Sara, there is going to be a big problem. 

12. Crazy Cornelio is drinking at the cantina when Modesto arrives with Simón pulling his luggage. As Sal starts to insult Simón thinking the DelMonte's had kicked Modesto out, Crazy Cornelio corrects him saying that Modesto decided on his own to leave the hacienda. Crazy Cornelio starts insulting Simón from the get go. Simón says he understands the anger Crazy Cornelio has and apologizes for his brother Psycho Pedro. Crazy Cornelio keeps drinking. As Sal gives Simón the evil eye, he agrees with Paloma's suggestion that Modesto stay with them. Crazy Cornelio isn't talking but  thinking about leaving town with Tadeo.

13. Back at the hacienda, Simón, Lucas and Clueless Mateo discuss Modesto leaving. Clueless Mateo hopes he reconsiders and comes back. Lucas says they all know that his leaving was Pedro's fault. Simón asks what they think about what Psycho Pedro said about Juan at the meeting. Lucas says they both know that Juan has his (Lucas') full support.  He was their dad's right hand man. Simón thinks they should all go after their own interest and he is only interested in the money. Lucas thinks they should have supported Juan and Sara. His brothers grumble about that. Lucas says maybe time will take away their hatred and resentment towards Sara. Nothing good can come of it. Clueless Mateo is sure that Juan and Sara are working against Juli. Lucas suggests that he try to move on and find someone else.Clueless Mateo says that will never happen because Juli is the love of his life. One day, he hopes she realizes that she is really in love with him and not Juan.

14. Juan is all alone thinking in his room thinking of Sara and telling her he loved her and wouldn't allow  her to leave.

15. Sara is in her room remembering Juan telling her he would follow her to the end of the earth and her telling him that she loved him.  

16. Psycho Pedro is remembering thinking how he told Juan that he was sure that he could get Sara to feel the same way about him as she felt about him. 

17. The next morning, Bea is going to send Tadeo off to school. Crazy Cornelio appears demanding to take his son to school. Bea starts to argue with him until Tadeo decides he would rather have his father take him. She allows him to leave with Cornelio. She will pick him up. 

18. Juan has had Dante come out early to the hacienda so they can discuss how to reach an agreement with  Mr. Henry. Juan wants to avoid a scandal.  Dante tells him not to worry and assures him that the whole law firm is working on it.  Juan needs some clarification on the supposed support for Sara that his father paid to Deb. Dante explains that he was his father's best friend besides being his lawyer. Severiano was going to pay support for Sara but his wife, their mother, found out about it and put an end to it. He emphasizes that Deb doesn't lie. Juan unlocks his desk and takes out a folder. Juan hands him a folder with the receipts showing the the liquidation of Sara's credit card balances and debts. Juan tells him to give them to her so they do not have any problems.  Simón comes by to tell Juan that somebody is waiting to see him. Juan puts the desk key in a box on the desk. Dante notices and almost steals the key on the way out. 

19. Crazy Cornelio is standing next to a truck when Deb calls him hoping that the truck she provided him  will do the trick. She reminds him that she has already deposited the money they had agreed upon.  She tells him that the rest was up to him. She tells him go somewhere else and have a good life with his son. She wishes him a good trip. Crazy Cornelio gets into the truck where Tadeo asks him if he is sure that his mother will not be worried. Crazy Cornelio tells him that he loves him and that his mother will not worry about him because she knows that he is with his father. He adds that as long as God gives him life, he will protect Tadeo  with his own life because Tadeo is his life. Tadeo smiles. He loves him. He tells Tadeo to put on his seatbelt. 

20. When Bea opens up the shop,  she finds out from Brandon and Dulce that Tadeo was talking about going on a vacation to the beach with his father. 

21. Bea remembers Tadeo mysteriously packing up his backpack.

22. Bea is starting to freak out thinking about Crazy Cornelio picking up Tadeo that morning. 

23. Alondra touches base with Lucas at the  hacienda. She wanted to talk to him about something. He tells her that the equine therapy program is on hold because there are problems at the company. She asks what is going on. He says it is a problem with the crop so everything is intense. Alondra thinks it might be better for her to leave and come another time. He says he wants to hear what she wanted to tell him. Alondra explains about the problems at her home so she wants to spend as little time there as possible. She would like to work at the hacienda with him. He says he would like that, too. She offers to work as his vet assistant. They are both smiling. She is okay with whatever they can pay her. He grabs her hands again as he says he will convince Juan to hire her.  He is happy that they will be able to spend more time together. She is, too. They kiss.  

24. Simón serves Juan and Dante pancakes for breakfast. He is overjoyed that Adela is settling in ready to cook. Juan tells Dante that he needs to talk to him about Modesto, also. He needs to pay him a settlement that reflects all of the years he worked for the family. 

25. Deb arrives at the breakfast table.  Simón and Deb start sniping at each other.  Juan breaks that off by asking Deb why Modesto told Sara that Severiano sent her support checks and she always said that he didn't. 

26. Deb is saved when Bea comes running into the house asking for help. Sara is coming down the stairs. When Psycho Pedro hears that Crazy Cornelio took Tadeo,  he jumps up saying he going to kill him and is followed  by Juan and Simón. Bea explains that Crazy Cornelio hasn't been answering his cellphone and the school called her to say that Tadeo had not arrived. They all leave together with Simón calling the police.

27. Deb is left at the table with Dante. They enjoy their  food as Adela comes in with more. 

28. Lucas and Alondra are still playing kissy face. They both like each other  a lot and are attracted to each other. Alondra says that is why she was so jealous when she thought he was going out with Jessica. Lucas sees them forming the best team ever. 

29. Clueless Mateo shows up at Rosa's house to take Juli to the office. Prospi appears in his usual suit, shirt, tie and sweater vest.  Juli asks why Clueless Mateo is there. He suddenly changes his story and says he is there to talk to her parents. Rosa screams for Berta to put out one more place setting since Clueless Mateo has come to visit. Juli looks aggravated. Prospi would like to know what Clueless Mateo wants to talk to them about. 

30. Out in the country on a highway, Crazy Cornelio's truck is having mechanical problems. Crazy Cornelio is kicking the truck and himself for not just taking the bus.  Tadeo is  upset because they lied about going to the beach. Crazy Cornelio tells him it will all be okay and will work out. They are going to have a great time. Does he trust him or not? Tadeo nods. Crazy Cornelio adds that  as soon as they get to the beach, they will call his mother so she can catch up with them. He tells Tadeo to put on  his seat belt. They drive on.

31. At Rosa's, they chat until Prospi asks again, what is it that Clueless Mateo wants to talk to them about? Clueless Mateo states that he is there  to tell them that he really cares for their daughter Juli and wants to make her happy. Juli asks if he is crazy. He insists he is not crazy and is talking from his heart. He thinks her parents should know what his feelings for her are. Prospi has had it. He jumps up and asks how dare Clueless Mateo  and his brother think that his daughters are play things. He tells Clueless Mateo to get out. Rosa voices her objections to Prospi's order but Prospi ignores her and  raises his voice even louder. He  tells Clueless Mateo to get out of his house again. 

32. Sara, Bea, Simón, Juana and Psycho Pedro are in an SUV looking for Crazy Cornelio out on the same country road. Juan sees Crazy Cornelio driving ahead of them  and Psycho Pedro tells him to step on it. Juan starts approaching Crazy Cornelio and starts  honking his horn. Crazy Cornelio recognizes them and goes CRAZY seeing that they cannot leave him alone. He starts to go faster. Tadeo asks why they are going so fast. Crazy Cornelio answers it is to get to the beach faster. Juan's SUV keeps up with him as Pedro yells at him go faster and pass Cornelio.  Everyone else worries about the fate of Tadeo.   Tadeo is afraid as Crazy Cornelio speeds on. 

33. Dante and Deb are in the living room. Dante is concerned that the security cameras are off.Deb says he can trust her.  They into the office and he retrieves the desk key. He opens the desk and photographs the documents that he was looking for and never had access to even when Severiano was alive.

34. Psycho Pedro wants Juan to block Crazy Cornelio. Sara says they cannot do that. It could cause an accident but Psycho Pedro doesn't care because he will not allow Cornelio to have his son. Juan continues chasing a defiant Crazy Cornelio down the road. Juan finally manages to block CrazyCornelio on the road without a crash. 

35. Both vehicles have stopped.  Psycho Pedro grabs his gun from the glove compartment and gets out of the SUV.  Crazy Cornelio holds on to Tadeo and points his gun at them daring them to try and take Tadeo. What he doesn't know is that Psycho Pedro has his gun cocked and behind his back. Still hanging on to Tadeo, Crazy Cornelio turns his gun on himself threatening to shoot himself in the head. Suddenly Psycho Pedro calls out to Crazy Cornelio. Crazy Cornelio sees Psycho Pedro's gun and lowers his. Psycho Pedro shoots him. Tadeo is left with the  body of Crazy Cornelio limp next to him and starts begging his father  not to leave him. Bea runs to retrieve her son.  Everyone, except for Tadeo,  has been shocked into silence. Finally, Juan moves his butt and checks on Crazy Cornelio. It seems that the bullet grazed Crazy Cornelio's ear and knocked him out. They try to revive him. With no thought for his son, Psycho Pedro tells Bea that Tadeo is coming with him. Juan has to tell him to leave the boy alone. Crazy Cornelio finally regains consciousness but is deafened from the shot and disoriented. Psycho  Pedro isn't done yet with Crazy Cornelio and has to be subdued by Simón and  Juan. When Juan and  Sara decide that they do not have time to wait for an ambulance, Crazy Cornelio jumps up and grabs his gun  again. Psycho Pedro grabs his gun again and the men are threatening to shoot each other one more time. Crazy Cornelio is dizzy and in pain. He leans against the truck for support. 

36. Dante is still photographing documents. Deb wants him to hurry up. She is worried about getting caught by Adela. Dante says that Severiano never gave him access to everything he is finding there. He is even getting photos of the ID's of the sons' parents. Deb says the poor adopted boys will have to face their past again. 

37. Juan is trying to communicate with Crazy Cornelio who is still out of it. Psycho Pedro still wants to shoot him. Simón has to stop him one more time. Crazy Cornelio finally puts his gun away in his back waist band. Juan apologizes to him in Psycho Pedro's name. Using his "skills" as a psychologist, Simón tries to talk Cornelio down through his altered reality. He tries to convince Crazy Cornelio  that Tadeo needs him and that he doesn't want to lose out on the bright future Tadeo has. Tadeo needs him.  Bea steps up and says since this is all really her fault (uh, don't think so), she will make  sure that CrazyCornelio gets to the hospital. She loads Tadeo into the truck and next helps Crazy Cornelio get in as Psycho Pedro threatens them with kidnapping charges and sending them to jail. Juan says the most important thing now is that Tadeo is safe. As he gets into the truck, Crazy Cornelio tells the Del Monte's that they destroyed his life. He only loves his son. Bea turns the truck around and they are gone.

38. Prospi is accompanying Clueless Mateo to the door telling him not to ever set foot in his house again. Juli has her father to defend her. Clueless Mateo apologizes not having wanted to offend them. Prospi has had it with Juan and him. Clueless Mateo insists that he is not Juan. Prospi doesn't care because his family is a joke. Rosa can't see him talking to a Del Monte like that and tells him to apologize. That is something Prospi is not about to do. Prospi doesn't want to see his daughter suffer. Juli says this is all a big misunderstanding. Clueless Mateo agrees because he and Juli love each other. Juli says NO they don't because she loves Juan. She adds that he has now ended their friendship. Rosa is shocked! Prospi tells her to defend her daughter. Prospi tells Clueless Mateo that his daughter is not some kind of love toy for the Del Monte brothers. Has he made that clear???

39. Back out on he road, Psycho Pedro is moaning that if his son disappears he will never forgive Juan. Juan tells him that Crazy Cornelio will not take the boy and adds that he and Simón should drive themselves back to the hacienda. Juan is going to wait for the arrival of another SUV he arranged. Sara stays with him. She was afraid she would lose him when she saw the guns. They debrief and are clearly back together if they ever were apart.

40.  Lucas and Alondra are still flirting. She thought he would never notice her. Well, he did. He thought she was the prettiest girl of all. They post a video and message  to Lucas' social media. 

41. Deb and Dante leave the office hoping not to be seen but they run into Adela standing in the hallway. Deb haughtily demands to know why she is  standing there like a statue watching them. Adela explains that she was just waiting to see if they wanted something. Dante says to bring them coffee. Deb is worried she saw them leave the office and will tell on them. Dante tells her not to be paranoid. They will wait to hear about  Tadeo's rescue. Deb thinks that the problems that  poor people have  are so insignificant that she  almost forgot that  "Cornudo" stole his son. Dante laughs. 

42. Sara and Juan have returned to the ranch. She is glad that  she and Juan could get off on their own for a while.  She admits that seeing Crazy Cornelio fight for his son really affected her.  Standing in front of the main house at Santa Catalina, Sara cannot help but think about all of the sacrifices that their father and his wife made to attain all of this.  As we see Severiano on horseback accompanied by his  sons and wife by his side, Juan tells Sara that his father had great plans but his wife Catalina was the motor behind it all. Their father would take them out on rides showing them the land that would become their inheritance some day.  They spent a lot of time in the fields learning to nip problems in the bud. Their  father was a man of the country and never forgot where he came from. Their mother worked shoulder to shoulder with him in the business as well as in the home. We sees Severiano and Catalina inside a processing plant chatting with the workers.  Once when they were faced with a strike, it was his mother who resolved it. Juan says that is how a man and woman should work together. Sara tells him that is what they will do then: work together like his parents without competition or inheritances making them enemies.  They smile at each other.
