La herencia # 33 Tuesday 08/30/22 "Beware: tough decisions ahead!"

Pedro, Lucas and Mateo are eating, talking about Sara and the business in general, when Pedro gets a news buzz on his phone, announcing that Meester Henry (heh) is dead. He tells his brothers about this and suggests that Juan might have had something to do with it, he was very upset with Henry when they last spoke. Modesto interferes to defend Juan. Mateo also tells his siblings Julieta is pregnant. Pedro can barely contain his glee.

Simon has come to see Paloma since she's not answering any of his calls. They start arguing about Sara again, the subject of the wedding is brought up and Paloma says she's not so sure about getting married anymore. And it's not only Simon's treatment of his sister, but also the fact that she's about to graduate and would like to start working, build her career. She also calls Simon a machista, thinks he should start therapy again and adds that she's not breaking up with him because she loves him so much, but the wedding is off for now.

Sara finally wakes up from her coma and remembers the moments of the attack. She sees Juan and asks if Pedro is OK. Juan reassures her.

Dante and Deb meet outside the ranch to talk about Sara being on the verge of death. They are both very worried, but then Dante mentions Henry being dead. Deb doesn't get the time to inquire about this, because Prospi is arriving to apologise to D&D about the lie he told involving them: his family thinks they are lovers. Dante gets furious, this lie will cause him a lot of problems with the Del Monte family. But Deb steals the scene (like usual), ostensibly calling Dante "Senor" and saying he's a dear old friend - she would never! Prospi apologizes a million times and then leaves, allowing Dante to question Deb about her relationship with this peasant. Deb plays the same offended card, she and "Senor" Prospero are not involved and Dante should be smart enough to realize her act, since she lies the same way about both her lovers.

Later they get to talking about moving forward with their plans to eliminate all the Del Monte men from the picture. Starting with Lucas! Deb has a plan to reveal his miserable mother to him and somehow get him to become so mad with his siblings, he will want to give up his inheritance and leave the ranch. (If someone understood Deb's plan better... I have no clue how the two would connect).

Rosa is very happy she and Prospi have reconciled and she tells Alondra everything is good between them now. Her daughter is relieved, thinks all their troubles are over. Juli arrives to add to her mother's joy, by saying she is pregnant ... (Rosa frowns) with Juan Del Monte. Rosa cheers like a mad woman, Juli finally managed to trap a Del Monte. She doesn't seem to care about the optics or what would people say, only Alondra has the decency to look concerned, even tries to suggest that maybe it's too soon to start spending on a fetus. Bertha also reminds Rosa that their financial situation is not the best, but they are both quickly silenced! Rosa knows better, they have no money problems, everything is perfect and she obviously hasn't changed AT ALL.

Sara doesn't want to take her medicine, Juan has to convince her it's for her own good. Then he actually spoon feeds her and it's cute, but then he gets a message about Henry's death and his demeanor changes. He doesn't share this information with Sara, but she brings up the dead guy herself, by saying she's sure Henry ordered the attack. Juan mentions how Pedro already made a declaration to the police, she will have to do the same when she feels better. Then he tries to get her to think of something else, promises he will always protect her and he loves her so much. The feeling is mutual, Sara would like nothing more than to start a family together, have a child and give it the type of family they both missed growing up. We should get married, Sara suggests and Juan looks worried, not because he doesn't want to marry her, too, but maybe because he already kind of has a bundle of joy on the way. He covers by saying he'd like to be the one who makes the proposal and both agree to talk about this when she's out of the hospital.

Another interruption happens, this time in the form of a text message. Juan reads in disbelief how some anonymous person threatens him to be careful and do a better job protecting Sara, because she will never be safe around him; if she stays at the ranch, she'd dead!

Walking around town in a trance, still remembering Paloma's accusations, Simon runs into Irma. She approaches him trying to gain his good will (at Deb's advice, mind you), but she's in for a shock when Simon blames her for being the cause of some of his mother's pain. Basically she and his father are at fault for everything going wrong in his life. And leaves in a huff. Irma realizes Deb lied to her, this has to be the worse Del Monte (I almost agree, but you haven't met Pedro, yet, Irma.)

Pedro comes to visit Julieta to "congratulate" her for her clever new plan. He's really impressed she managed to pull this off. He tells her his "suspicions" about Juan being behind Henry's death, look at how far he's willing to go for Sara, but Juli doesn't seem bothered by the fact that her maybe baby daddy might be a criminal because she has bigger worries. Now that she has advanced so well in her plan to be with Juan, maybe Pedro should take advantage and do something to win Sara over. She is actually very proud of herself/ patronizing, her anvil can't come soon enough. Pedro receives all her advice with his usual sarcasm, but has to admit that this pregnancy makes things easier for both of them. Regardless, the baby is not due for a while, Sara could still win more territory with Juan in the meantime, what Julieta needs to do is play on his paternal instincts.

Lucas has come to visit Sara, too and he inadvertedly spills the beans about Henry being dead. Juan is obviously upset, when they step outside he warns Lucas not to talk to Sara about everything going on around them while she's still in the hospital. Not about the fighting with Simon or about Julieta's pregnancy. Juan gets another message, which warns him that he's running out of time if he wants to protect Sara. He asks Lucas to stay at the hospital with Sara, while he goes to deal with a few things. Lucas encourages him to fight for Sara, he obviously loves her very much.

Paloma and Bea talk about the custody case, but Paloma has a hard time focusing. And it's not only because of the wedding being postponed, but also the fact that Simon told her he killed his father. Bea is shocked, thinks that maybe Paloma understood wrong, but Paloma reassures her that going by Simon's state, she's afraid of what other secrets he might be keeping.

Tadeo comes down and the women realize he has a fever. The boy wants to see his dad Cornelio, but also his dad, Pedro. I'm sure that will go well.

Rosa comes to visit Jess at the Cruz family home. She wants to take her shopping, but before she can explain what for, Adela invites the Millan family to dinner. Rosa sits on the couch and falls over Abuelo Augustin when the sofa springs break under her weight.

A small chaos ensues, but then Jess asks her mom if she and Brayan can come live at the house. Rosa is more than happy to accept her daughter's return home, but she has to talk to Prospi about the rest, especially now that the family is getting bigger and they really need to get going, they need to start shopping for a crib and whatnot. The Cruz family think Jess is pregnant, but no, God forbid that the married daughter be waiting a child with her beloved husband. No, this is about dumbed Julieta, waiting a baby out of wedlock and the baby is Juan Del Monte's of course. Nobody seems as happy as Rosa is with the news.

Still in town, Simon is attacked by four men carrying knives. They manage to hurt his foot before Amado sees them (since this happens in the middle of the day) and comes to Simon's rescue. The men run but promise to be back. Simon asks Amado to call Paloma and Pedro, NOT Juan. Amado calls Paloma.

On her hospital bed, half asleep, for some reason Sara remembers a talk she had with Pedro, when he warned her about Juan not being so squeaky clean as he pretends to be. Lucas is watching her, but Pedro arrives to say that he will be taking over, while Lucas needs to go back at the ranch because he's needed. What for? Pedro pretends to be very worried about Juan, especially since he's suspecting that he had something to do with Henry's death. Lucas refuses to believe such a thing about their brother, he trusts Juan. Pretending to sleep, Sara hears the whole conversation and thought bubbles that she trusts Juan, too. But the seed of doubt has been planted.

Juan is back home, talking with Modesto about the hard choices he has to make. And he doesn't have much time left. He has to find a way to keep Sara safe, so he's decided he needs to remove her from his life (or remove himself from hers). He's broken up over the whole thing, but he sees this as a necessary sacrifice. Sara might be hurt now, but on the long run, she will be happier. Modesto tries to explain to Juan that happiness is something you build every day, but Juan gets another menacing message warning him that his time is up. When he mentions Julieta's baby Modesto adds that once he makes sure the baby is his, he can take care of it and still have his own happy life. When Juan insists there is no other way, Modesto promises to always be there for him.

Lucas runs into Deb and Dante at the hospital. They chit chat about Henry and then Deb ever so casually turn the conversation to Lucas' wellbeing and mentions his bio mother. What, what?

Cornelio has come to visit Tadeo, who is still feeling bad. So he apologizes because his son is suffering because of his problems. He asks Bea to allow him to spend the night, be close to Tadeo. Bea agrees and mentions how Paloma left because Simon was badly hurt during an attack. Corni is shocked.

Julieta is at the office, deleting some emails, while saying out loud that Juan will never find out that she was the one who tampered with the fertilizer!!! It is all over. Juan walks in and asks what is over, but she deflects and Juan asks to talk about the baby. Juli is not against a paternity test, but accuses Juan about carrying more about Sara than having a baby. This pregnancy is not only her fault and she would never use a child to trap him, that's so basic (LOL). Juan says he will always be there for his child, and demands a paternity proof. But Julieta wants a real family, especially since she still loves him. Juan flashes back to Sara's words about starting a family. What to do, what to do?

Amazing recap, Adriana. Loved the title.

I knew it! The fertilizer failure was Juli's fault! Good job, patio, we were right again!

The fact that every brother has a weak spot that Deb and Dante could use against them except from Lucas and they chose to eliminate Lucas first is lol material.

"This pregnancy is not only her fault and she would never use a child to trap him, that's so basic" XD!

Ugh, I guess Juan will be with stupid Julieta and break up with Sara until he finds out Juli is lying. And Pedro will hit on Sara again. I'm so NOT looking forward to this.

P.S.: Victoria, Stevey wrote a comment some time ago about upcoming Univisión telenovelas. RGV Chick copy pasted it into a separate page. I'll find the link and paste it here.

OT

Here's the link I mentioned (about Stevey): https://caraycaray.blogspot.com/2022/07/a-bit-of-coming-soon2022.html?m=1

Thank you Adriana for your recap and the snark! Great title, too.

Henry & Debs are so untrustworthy and conniving that I wonder if they are more upset about the attack because Sara is merely a cash cow for them. And a lucrative one, at that.

"Basically (Irma) and his father are at fault for everything going wrong in his life."
Waaaaiiiiit a minute. I thought Simon's M.O. is to blame SARA for everything that is wrong in his life.
He is so wishy-washy. Make up your mind, Simon. ;-)

Who on earth would hire an attack on Simon? And why? Stabbed In the foot! Ouch.

Who is texting Juan with threats? Let's hope this is not more of Pedro's nefarious skulduggery. More to be revealed.

And Pedro attempted another lip kiss on sleeping Sara (ew!), while Juan kissed her forehead.

BINGO CARDS - So, Julieta DID tamper with the fertilizer but does this count on my BINGO and as "poisoning." (what sayeth the collective BINGO rules committee?)
Nobody said the word "coma" on the show, so I think Sara was just sedated. My BINGO cards sit in Purgatory.

doris, since it is just the two of us playing and it looked like those avocado trees were in bad shape and altering the fertilizer was “poisonous” to them, I say we go for it!!!! I agree that Sara was merely sedated and not in a coma. ; )

Thanks, Adriana, what a great recap! I can’t wait to see Juli get what’s coming to her. I wonder if she planned the pregnancy and used Mateo to get pregnant. Since she was the one to mess with the fertilizer I guess she’ll also have the paternity test point to Juan! Too many bad guys in this.

I totally missed the scene where Rosa broke the sofa! I record them and then watch, wonder if I fast forwarded through it!

Juli must have confidence in the brothers! She destroyed their crop. Wouldn’t you have to wait another year to have a crop! I wonder if she is making the threats. Or Simon! Pedro wouldn’t want her gone from the ranch. At first it seemed Juan just needed to be away from her but I thought the last threat was she had to leave, not sure.

I wonder how Sara will learn about the pregnancy. I can see Juli telling her, and not in a nice way.

So is Cornelio feeling guilty after he hired the men to hurt Simon. What did he expect!

At least Irma knows the true character of Deb and Simon. Maybe that will help but I think we have a long wait for everything to be discovered!

Liz

Weirdo, I had the same thought as you about Lucas - he is no threat for them, maybe their plan is to divide and conquer.

Doris, Deb asked for Corni's help finding some goons to "take care of " Simon, as a thank you after she helped him almost run away with Tadeo. That's why he was so scared when he found out Simon had been hurt, he realized Deb was behind it.

Congrats on the Bingo, girls! I bet that even if someone else starts now they can still make Bingo by the end of the show.

"Wouldn’t you have to wait another year to have a crop!'
Right? And didn't Juan promise Meester Henry they would deliver avocados? Perhaps not all the trees got the bad fertilizer?

Adriana - thanks for reminding me of Corny hiring those goons. I had forgotten that.

I missed the entire dinner scene where Rosa broke the sofa. It must have been FFWDed through accidentally when the show came back from commercials?

Adriana, another great recap along with another great title! Thanks.

Weirdo, thank for directing us to the Stevey info!

The biggest disappointment of the episode was Simón’s attackers not being able to complete the job. They did mention making him gimpy and did with their better than nothing attack. My only hope is that they will return as promised. Thanks for nothing to the writers on this one. : ) Even after Bea told him she was calling off the wedding and why, he still didn’t get the message as we saw in the cruel and condescending way he dealt with Irma.

Cringiest moment: Sara tells Juan that she wants her children to grow up with their father something that was denied to her.

Who is sending Juan those threats? Deb/Juan/Dante? Who else?

doris, Deb ordered the attack on Simón via Cornelio and his “connections”. LOL It was payback for his mistreatment of her daughter.

Diana, it looks like Juan could be added to the list of “stupid galanes” even though it would take a lot more “clueless” activity to overtake “Chente” from “Mi fortuna es amarte” who holds first place on my list.

Adriana: Howdy from the Alamo City! Good Job on the recap of last night's episode.

Jarifa: Anticipating the Body Count will increase again soon. Psycho Pedro thinks he's in the clear....but he's NOT.

Doris: Chickens will come home to roost for Buji Julieta.

Liz: Special diet of more evilness.

Adriana, exceptional as always. “Maybe baby daddy”; "he already kind of has a bundle of joy on the way” and “Lucas needs to go back at the ranch because he's needed. What for?” were but a few favorites.

Your savvy assessment of Juli who “has advanced so well in her plan to be with Juan, maybe Pedro should take advantage and do something to win Sara over. She is actually very proud of herself/ patronizing, her anvil can't come soon enough” had me nodding in vigorous agreement.

Weirdo, yes, as he thinks the iron is hot, Pedro will indeed try to strike at Sara. But so far Sara is ice cold and completely immune to his charms. He has zero chance.

I just noticed Prospi walks duck footed and side to side to boot. Nice touches in keeping with his rather dorky character. I’m sure all of this will be corrected after his expected transformation.

“Sara doesn't want to take her medicine, Juan has to convince her it's for her own good. Then he actually spoon feeds her and it's cute” was spot on Adriana. Because a spoonful of sugar from a cutie pie always makes the medicine go down. In the most delightful way! 😊

Simon dominated last night, spewing and spreading his misery as only he can. That knife lodged in his foot looked nasty and painful, mirroring Simon’s soul. What will need to happen for some kind of epiphany?? As you noted Jarifa, “Even after Bea told him she was calling off the wedding and why, he still didn’t get the message as we saw in the cruel and condescending way he dealt with Irma”. Unbelievable!!

Simon also lashes out at everyone, indiscriminately. “I thought Simon's M.O. is to blame SARA for everything that is wrong in his life. He is so wishy-washy. Make up your mind, Simon. ;-)” made me laugh doris. Why pick just one person to blame when you have multiples: daddy, your love’s mama or Sara.

Liz, I didn’t see the scene with Rosa on the couch either.

Adriana, fantastic. Thank you, thank you!

Diana

Jarifa, "Cringiest moment: Sara tells Juan that she wants her children to grow up with their father something that was denied to her." Ikr? So cringe.

Adriana, "I bet that even if someone else starts now they can still make Bingo by the end of the show." Challenge accepted. I'll start from the next episode.

Thanks, Adriana. Great job.

I don't get why Cornelio looked shocked when Bea told him a gang attacked Simon. He was out of Bea's view, so he wasn't pretending shock for her sake. Could he possibly have remorse?

I got a kick out of Irma realizing Deb had set her up to be insulted by Simon. Good one, Deb! ;>

I think Julieta is sending Juan the anonymous texts. But Juan shouldn't let those texts dictate his life. He's a avocado bigwig for pete's sake! Hire a hacker to discover who's sending those texts.

Wardrobe. Is it just me, or is everybody wearing the same thing every day. Simon in the same turtleneck and blazer. Julieta in the same Chanel jacket. Rosa in orange and purple. Alondra in lime and purple. Deb seems to be the only character with some variety.

Little detail: Adela only invited Rosa and her family to dinner, when she h1d her sofa accident Rosa was only trying to convince Jess to join her for shopping and to boast about her little bastard grandson. Someone as "respectable" as she is should be upset over this, what will people say about Juli being an unwed mother? Could it be she only cares about the town gossip when it suits her?

Great work, Adriana.

I can explain Simon after the questions raised in this discussion. Simon dominated last night, spewing and spreading his misery as only he can. That knife lodged in his foot looked nasty and painful, mirroring Simon’s soul.

Simon is incapable of taking responsibility for his own thoughts, feelings, and actions. He is emotionally immature and that can be a dangerous condition in an adult. He has jumped to conclusions about Sara and is completely unwilling to accept any possibility that he is wrong. Now that he is blaming Irma for everything and getting possessive of Paloma it is obvious that he is a misogynist. "No girls welcome in our treehouse." Paloma should start her career and meet a man who appreciates her and isn't looking to knock her up to keep her down on the ranch. He is worse than her father. And Paloma is smart for wanting to not be the next woman Simon throws into the mud.

Julieta may have deleted an incriminating e-mail but a good tech pro can restore it. Also, how many other people received that e-mail?

I know nothing about agriculture but is it possible that those trees may not produce fruit for several years after this?

If Mateo wants Julieta so much why did he say at the table that her fetus is Juan's?

I think Rosa does care about the town gossip because anything about her family would -- in her mine -- reflect on her. Remember that she still can't face the face that her daughters aren't children anymore. She still treats them like children no matter what Prospero and Berta say to her.

Diana and Doris, in a previous telenovela several of us missed a scene that was in the recap but it showed up in the next episode. Not sure why, or how, that would happen but that’s my hope!

Liz

UA: You & I both know full well that Gullible Paloma & Crazy Simon will get together in the end.

Steve Boudreaux

As for Rosa, I think that she thinks Julieta will manage to marry Juan. Rosa cares more about what the people say than her daughter's happiness and is definitely not open-minded to support Julieta to be a single mother. The only thing she wants is money and good reputation.

Cher Adriana, Merci for another excellent recap with every cringeworthy detail as people continue to lie and connive to get what they want.

Hmmm..who is sending those threats to Juan about Sara leaving the ranch? Julie seems to be willing to do anything to rope and hogtie Juan, The Avocado King . She has absolutely no scruples , and Juan is her goal, so it must be her . Who else wants Sara gone except Simon?

I don't know anything about growing avocados , but once that fertilizer is in the soil, I dont know if it can be removed . Sabotaging the crop was a terrible thing Juli did, and she should be prosecuted when it is discovered . Farmers are a brave bunch. It is a hard life and lots of things can affect their crops ..the weather, insects,Human error , etc. Crop insurance is available , but I think that it is expensive .

Deb seems to have decided to jump on the weakest link which is kind , gentle Lucas. She is back to her many schemes against the brothers and doesn't seem very worried about Sara anymore . Does she suspect that Dante killed Henry ? Does she know he can kill without remorse? Will we ever see his wife?

Modesto is the only person Juan and Sara can rely on and trust . Juan still doesn't realize how dumb and dangerous his brothers are .

Why does Juan just stand still and let Juli grab onto him like a barnacle? It will be happening all the time once Sara returns to the ranch and Juli decides to live there , too. Mealtime around that big table will be interesting.

Prospi's odd walk is too much .

Susanlynn, “barnacle”! Yes!

Niecie, I think you're absolutely right in that Juli is sending Juan the threatening e-mails. I kept wondering if there was another villain shrouded in mystery, but she was right there in my face, and I didn't see it.

Urban "If Mateo wants Julieta so much why did he say at the table that her fetus is Juan's?" OMG, thank you for bringing that up. At the time, I remember frowning, wondering why he said that so calmly, so acceptingly. Has he really accepted the situation? Well, we will likely only find out the next time he's three sheets to the wind. Likely tonight. Blech.

Diana

Simon is not clever enough to do those text messages do I agree that Juli Stepford must be the one. The attack on Simone will cause more suspicion to be cast on the late, unlamented Henry and nobody will suspect Deborah. At least not anytime soon.

So far I think Deborah will deserve the worst fate at the end. I am weary of her crocodile tears every time something happens to Sara and her blatant disrespect for everyone else.

Prospero's unfortunate gait may require therapy or surgery. I have a friend with this problem. It has prevented him from being able to dance. However he has no interest in getting it corrected.

Simon could end up permanently disabled from the knife in his foot. That us an ugly injury, but at least he won't be able to do anything violent for a while.

My gut is saying that we will shortly encounter Juan and Pedro's egg donor. She is a monster and she will cause them major problems, probably starting with a PR nightmare.

I've been wondering if we are going to meet Sara's exnovio. That might be Interesting.

So, has Deb even visited Sara yet????

Diana

I don't think so and it's been a few days. Notice that Sara is not asking for her.

Makes me wonder how long it will be before she sees what Deborah really is.

You're right Urban - Sara hasn't asked for her mother.

When Deb first found out about Sara and cried, I thought she was truly upset. I wanted to believe that. But, if that were my daughter, nothing would have kept me from her bedside.

Diana

Diana and Urban - good observation that Sara has not yet asked for Debs. (thank you, Rosa) Maybe Sara just has not been awake long enough?

Deb went to Sara's room when she was first brought in. Then she left to "secure" her daughter's inheritance. Packed her bags and moved into the ranch, had a nice night of sleep, ran into Dante the next day, did some plotting, and then finally went to the hospital again, to start messing with Lucas' head. Pedro, Juan and Lucas have all spend more time with Sara than Deb, but that is because her love for her daughter is very selfish. I do believe she loves her, she's said so much in scenes when she was all alone, but she also sees her as a meal ticket. For someone like Deb, who has had to scheme her way into a better life, I think it's hard to turn off the "atrepadora" button and just be a mom. She's basic like that, just like Juli. Hehe

Adriana, great analysis of Deb. That’s her!

Adriana - Good summary of Debs. Aaaaand, she does all that with never a hair out of place, perfect lipstick, and a matching hat with squirrel tail embellishment.

I want to find out more about the older generation: Deb, Dante, Severiano, Catalina and all of the sons’ mothers.

Adriana, that was a perfect description of Deb . Her first and foremost priority is ...Deb. She is a hardcore grifter who must have decided long ago that the type of life she wanted was going to be gotten by using others , not by her own hard work. However, she also seems to love wheeling and dealing and messing in peoples lives. She appears to really take pleasure from being the puppetmaster who causes others pain . We didn't see her staying in that hospital and not leaving her daughter's side.

Adriana, thank you so much for your excellent analysis of Deb. I just could not recall her in Sara's room at all.

Jarifa, in addition to learning more about those you mentioned, I am very curious to find out what happened to Mrs. Modesto. Modesto is such a sensitive, caring soul, I'm surprised we've never seen him thinking of or speaking of her. That in and of itself is suspicious. I think there is a twist here, my uninformed guess is that Sev is Cornelio's father. Can you imagine??? Such bad blood as it were already. This would really throw things into a tizzy!

Diana

I do not recall either Modesto or Cornelio mention Sra Modesto. I hope we don't find out anything sinister about him.

Based on the madness of DNA stuff in QT I hope that doesn't repeat here. The two series don't appear to have any writers in common, but that doesn't mean much.

Here's hoping that Simon has a good long hospital stay and can't get on his feet for a while.

Diana, yes, Mrs. Modesto is a mystery, too. Since Modesto has that kind of sad sack look about him, I am HOPING that Mrs. Modesto had a “noble” end in a telenovela context like having died in labor, from a terrible illness or in a devastating accident. If Sev is Cornelio’s father that would really be a kick in the teeth for Modesto but would not be out of the question in this novela. ; )

Urban, what is QT?

Wow...so many possible Sev bebes running around town . The possibilities seem endless.

Susanlynn: Here are some of my nicknames for some of the characters:
*Juan the Headbutt Master
*Goldie Locks Sara
*Psycho Pedro
*Crazy Simon
*Gullible Paloma
*Gold-Digger Debbie
*Dante the Looter
*Buji Julieta
*Buji Rosa

UA: At this point, all of the characters have dark secrets they'd prefer to keep secret forever.

QT refers to Quererlo Todo which I recapped. It ran in daytime but there is no index for it on the blog. It had much in common with this novela:

1. Patriarch dies in the opening episode. In this case, he died shortly before his wedding to a younger woman who was a serious gold-digger.
2. Patriarch had two sons, one from his marriage and the younger one from an affair.
3. All persons connected to this man gathered for the reading of his will, which gave the distribution decision to a trusted person.
4. Patriarch appeared in flashbacks throughout the series. Two younger actors appeared in the flashbacks as him and two other as his best friend.
5. DNA was falsified.
6. The two sons competed for the leading lady's attention.
7. Lots of pretty horses.

7. Lots of pretty horses

And sometimes the horses are the best part of a telenovela. lol

UA: I absolutely remembered watching "QUERRELO TODO" & the twists & turns were intriguing & crazy. Goldie-Locks was amazing in that one too.

Thank you Weirdo. Stevey was working in Nicaragua for awhile and my husband and I lived there for a few years, during the guerrilla war—frightening. Still have friends there. I've never figured out if Stevey is a boy or girl. I've been too busy these last few months to watch telenovelas and keep up with Caray.
Just returned for 'La Herencia' and 'Los Ricos También Lloran' Thank you again.

Well poisoning the avocado trees with the fertilizer sure didn't work, because I still see them picking and packing them.

There's nothing sexier than seeing a great looking, muscular man riding a big black stallion with such flair and confidence. Eduardo Yañez is the best, IMHO.
