Caray, Caray!

Just a heads up:  With these double episodes continuing, I cannot  assure you that #51/52 will be up on even on Saturday. It is a busy weekend with limited couch time so the recaps probably will not be done until Sunday some time.   

I have  had no  time to proof read this. 

#49

 1. Cornelio wails over the wounded Modesto and Prospi hugs a grateful Rosa. Deb expresses her disdain. Ambulances are called. Family and friends unite happy to be alive. Juli thanks Mateo or saving her. He makes out clear he would have done it for ANYONE. 

2. The surviving perpetrators are chased from the scene by gunfire. Victorio, the leader has been wounded. it looks like he has been shot in the leg. 

3. Pedro calls Dante for the head of the man that he hired to kill Cornelio. Dante says that would be Victorio Rocha. Pedro informs him that he he just made an assault on the hacienda. Dante smiles and assures him that he will have the culprit for him today. 

4. Modesto has regained consciousness as they wait for the ambulance. He calls for  Cornelio who is at his side with everyone else. 

5. Cornelio steps back and sees the Del Monte's as Modesto's real children.  He sees himself as a coward and jerk. 

6. At the cantina, Sal slaps that slobbery kid Amado in the head saying he should have let them know what was going on earlier so Juan could protect his family. Amado wishes he had and that Lucas had not gotten involved in all of this. Agustín warns them that these kind of mistakes can end up causing  the death of the innocent. 

7. The police commander arrives with his force telling everyone they will need to tell him their version of what happened as everyone is waiting with Modesto.

8. Amado has a confession. He is the one who has been stealing from Sal. Sal hits him again this time in the shoulder. Amado explains that he did it to stop Victorio but he was too late.  Now he will be responsible for a tragedy. Someone comes running in to tell Sal that Santa Catalina was attacked. 

9. Brayan has a day off and is planing on spending it with his wife. When Alondra comes in and sees them kissing, she tells them to take the action to their room. Jessica says no way. She is now "Perfect Alondra" Alondra doesn't think it  is funny being compared to Berta. Andrea gets a text telling her about the assault on the hacienda.

10. Dante meets with Victorio to tell him that he has done a great job until now. Attacking the hacienda out of his revenge for Juan wasn't a good strategy. Victorio says he couldn't take that Juan had humiliated all of them. Nobody messes with them. Dante chuckles. Victorio says that he better help him and reminds him  that he has a lot of information that he could use against him: the contract on Cornelio's life and beating up Lucas.  Dante doesn't like being threatened. He thinks back on Lucas' attack. He arrived on the scene when Lucas was unconscious and told Victorio and his men to have no pity on him. Dante hits Victorio in the forehead with his gun rendering him unconscious.  He tells him that he is the one who didn't know who he was dealing with. 

11. The ambulance picks up Modesto. Cornelio insists that he accompany his father. Berta wants to go with Modesto, too. Sara reminds Juan they all have to make a statement to the police. The ambulance leaves.

12. The police march in one of Victorio's guys. He breaks free and pulls a gun on them all. Juli hides behind Juan.

13. Adela and Brandon comfort each other inside the house. He asks if she would be very sad if he were not around. She starts to tell him when he informs her that he is going to the USA. She asks if he is nuts or what?? Soon it is revealed that it all comes down to Dulce. Adela starts to cry.

14. The guy tells them not to move or he will shoot.  Finally, the police storm him from behind and have him under control again after he gets off one wild shot. Juli thanks Juan for protecting their child. Pedro asks if Sara is okay. She goes inside and Pedro follows. 

15. Rosa tells Prospi she saw her life pass in front of her eyes like in the movies. Prospi sees this as a chance for a new beginning. Rosa disagrees because his infidelity made her feel  as if he had killed her already. He reminds her that they BOTH made mistakes and that their lives could be over in a moment. He makes it clear he contacted a lawyer only because he was angry but he cannot get over how much he loves her. They hug and he admits that Deb was a mistake. Suddenly Deb is standing in the doorway. (that black hat has witchy vibes) As Prospi asks Rosa  if she will get back with him, a smirking Deb tells her to answer him already. 

16. The police commander tells Juan that the attackers are part of a Pacific regional criminal network.  The police know all about them especially their leader Victorio Rocha. All of the brothers demand that  the commander to do his job and arrest him. The commander tells them that the federal police  are in control and are organizing themselves to do just that. He gives his condolences on the deaths of the security guards and the fright that the  family had to suffer especially his pregnant wife.  Juan says he  needs to go and see  his second father at the hospital. the command says no can do. The del Monte's had firearms, too, and are going to be kept under a home protection order (sounds like house arrest but of course they haven't been charged) until the situation can be sorted out.  As the  commander tells him it is a process,  Juan goes to get his firearm permits. 

17. Sal, Alondra, Jessica  and Brayan arrive  to check on their loved ones. The commander tells them that nobody can be allowed in the house. Jessica warns them that reporters are out on the street so news of the attack will be out very quickly.

18. Rosa tells Deb to get out. They want nothing to do with her. Deb says that she just forgave her earlier. Rosa tells her she is a bad person just like her daughter. It was probably Juli who brought those criminals on the property to attack them. Deb warns her to watch what she says. Her daughter would never be capable of something like that but in order to get rid of her (Rosa) she cannot imagine what she would be capable of.  Prosi tells her to not threaten them. Deb make is clear that she doesn't just threaten, she follows through on her threats. Prospi assures Rosa that Deb was just talking out of anger and that nothing will come of it. 

19. Pedro tells Sara that Victorio  is going to have to fall. He cannot be left on the loose. He tries to calm  Sara down who is still upset from the attack. She wants to go see Modesto. He will go with her. He knows it isn't the time but  he has to tell her that he loves her. He suffered so much just seeing her in danger. He will protect her from here on with all the love he has for her. Sara starts to cry as she is still so upset as he strokes her hair. 

20. Simón says he is going to the police  station to to check on their investigation. Paloma tells him to be careful. He thanks her for loving him as he loves her. he feels bad about Modesto but he is sure he will recuperate because he is a strong man. Simón says while he was fighting, Paloma was the only thing on his mind and he would have killed them all to protect her. He wants he to stay at the hacienda  and not go out for any reason.

21. As Simón leaves, Sal appears to check on his daughter. Simón is left staring at them reunite from the door.

22. Sara decides to leave and tells Pedro that she wants  nothing to do with any of that. He asks if it didn't mean something that he told her that he loved her. She apologizes and tells him that right now she can't deal with love. He says he understands but then asks if she doesn't feel at least a little something for him. She doens't want to talk about any of that but recognizes he is a great guy and maybe . .  She tries to leave but he hangs on the "maybe" and asks "maybe what??" She answers saying "maybe" some day she will believe in love again. Pedro insists that  he will learn to be the most patient person in the world and is ready to wait his whole life if necessary. He swears on it. He wants to hear nothing else because she has left him with hope and that is all he needs. It is off to the hospital and the police station. 

23. Agustín and Brayan discuss the attack with Adela and Brandon. Adela  tells them that that Brandon was ready to go  to the USA. Agustín and Brayan are not pleased to hear that. Agustín gives his ear a good twisting as well as a piece of his mind. Brandon makes a point of saying he is still there with them because he  loves them. 

24. Prospi tells his family that he loves them and that everything is going to change from now on. Rosa proudly tells the girls how their father fought with a criminal and caught her in his arms. She could have been dead. Jessica  decides she better "knock on wood "for having said that. Prospi tries to give a more realistic view but Rosa will not hear of it. Their father is a hero. That is what brought them back together. Jessica has to nerve to asks if she has forgiven him for the "old lady"(aka Deb).  Rosa tells her not to mention that traitor. She has settled things with their father over that infidelity and just maybe some day she will forgive him. They will have to wait and see. They have a group hug and then Rosa decides that they have to think about baby Sev's cradle. 

25. Sal Talks  with Paloma who has to tell him that his brother Modesto got shot and is in the hospital. Sal  is angry that nobody let him know earlier. He is going to the hospital to make sure his brother is okay. 

26. Deb asks Adela where her daughter is. Adela tells her she is most likely at the hospital with Pedro to check on Modesto.  What about Berta? Adela says she is not at home wither. Deb thinks that she didn't pick a very good maid. She fell in love with that dying servant. Adela informs Deb that there is food in the regret if she wants to eat. Adela says she has  to take care of the police who are there because there is nobody else. Deb isn't happy that servants are now giving orders. Adela clarifies herself saying she is just doing what the owners told her to do. Deb tells her to get out. 

27. Deb calls Dante. He is at the police station at the Ministerio Público. She wants to meet him. He tells her not to move from the hacienda. 

28. Lucas tells Mateo that he blames himself for what happened. Mateo says it wasn't his fault. He didn't know what was going on. Mateo tells him what is past is past and to let it go. Lucas si worried about what Alondra will think of him. Mateo tells him he has  nothing to be ashamed of. Lucas decides to tell Alondra about everything that happened to him. Mateo  advises to sue the force of his  heart and not his fists to move on ahead. He looks up to Lucas for having the courage to look for his mother and leave his inheritance behind. Mateo is suddenly quiet. He explains that the time has come for him to make his own decisions. 

29. Back at the  cantina, Sal tells Cornelio that it was a terrible thing they had to go through and to see his brother in the hospital. Sal says they cannot do a thing but Modesto is stronger than an Oak tree. Cornelio has realized that he failed his father and everyone in his quest for revenge. 

30. Sara has good news forAdela. Modesto is out of danger.  Juan isn't doing so well because he still cannot leave to see Modesto and is dealing with the police. Adela realizes that something is bothering Sara and asks what it is.  Sara says she has realized that she and Juan will never ever be together. Adela tells her not to give up so easily.  Sara mentions Pedro. Everyone says that he is a bad guy but she isn't sure that he is. Adela says she always catches him looking at Sara with those lovesick eyes. She really doesn't care for him but she has  never seen him  look at a woman the way he looks at Sara. Adela thinks that  she needs to talk to Juan first and then  make her decision following her heart. 

31. Deb joins Sara in the kitchen. She was worried about her. Deb doesn't understand why in her short time on this  earth, Deb's life has been at so much risk. Deb makes the point that she hasn't been looking for it. Deb doesn't want her to start blaming her for anything. Deb says Sara is alive and she is grateful from the bottom of her heart for that. Sara's  smiles starts to disappear when  she hears Deb says that the most important thing is  that she keep fighting for the inheritance. 

32. Pedro is getting ready to leave when he gets a call from Dante telling hm that everything is ready.  He is out of there. 

33. Sal is pushing some mezcal on Cornelio who earlier said he didn't want anything to drink. Sal says it will relax him. Cornelio downs a shot. Sal advises him that revenge never brings any good things with it. He uses himself as an example of spending his whole life wanting revenge on Irma worried she wold take Paloma away. It ended up burdening him all of those years and wasn't worth it. Cornelio has something to confess to Sal as long as he doesn't tell a soul. Cornelio says his father is dying because of him. He gave those thugs the information on how to get into Santa Catalina. 

34. Sara goes to talk to Juan. Modesto is out of danger. He showed himself to be a real leader with his siblings. Juan was so afraid he was going to lose her. He felt like his world was coming  apart. She says she felt that way, too, and that is why what she has to tell him hurt her. 

35. Pedro is on his way out. Juli reminds him it is night time and nobody should be leaving. He tells her to worry about herself  and leave him alone. She grabs his arm saying that there is something going on with him. He pulls his arms away telling her to let him go.  He mocks her behavior earlier with Juan and remarks that  she is on her way to using Juan make her  her social climbing a reality.  She says he should be thinking her because finally he had time with Sara. He warns her to stay out of his life. She needs to take care of her "heir" which is the best business deal she ever pulled off  in her life. 

36. Sara tells Juan  that today she finally realized that they would never be happy together. She admires him that he was able to protect Juli and his baby.  He will be a great father. She still loves him in spite of the hurt he has caused her but has  decided to step aside so he can be happy. Juan explains that he loves her way too much and these days have been very difficult for him. It all seems like a dream. He thinks about her all day long because he needs her. He wants to explain what happened but Sara doesn't want to hear. She has made up her mind. If he really feels something for her, she asks him to let her be happy with whoever she wants. 

37. Pedro goes into the vacant building some where on the ranch and maneuvers his way up to the second floor.

38. Juan asks Sara if she doesn't love him. She says she thought she knew what love was but that four letter word has only brought her pain. He asks if she thinks it would be different with Pedro or somebody else. She says she doesn't know. He says it wouldn't be with Pedro. She remarks that she saw him fight for the hacienda with everyone else. Juan thinks that Pedro will only see he as a trophy.  He doesn't want to see him hurt her. Sara smiles and asks if that is what he is worried about or is it that somebody might actually be able to love her without hurting her.  He insists that she admires Pedro but that is not love. She agrees but sees that Pedro is a  man who wants to make  her happy as she deserves to be happy. He asks if she can be happy  at Pedro's side. She accuses Juan of being very cruel towards her and  having broken her heart. He says he never did it to hurt her.  She says but he did.  She tells him that the real inheritance from his father was the love of family.  He can enjoy that inheritance at Juli's side. 

39. Sal is infuriated with Cornelio. He put innocent people in danger. Cornelio says he said he did it to get rid of Pedro. Cornelio goes on with the usual litany of excuses:  that Pedro took his life away by ruining his marriage and taking away his son's last name. Then he bought the the house for Bea. Sal grabs him by the shirt collar and pushes him against a wall telling him that his brother and his daughter almost died because of his stupidity. Sal explains the the same thing happened to him with Severiano but he never acted on what he wanted to do, like killing Sev, because their is something much stronger than hatred: love. 

40. Pedro is met by Dante. He announces that he is going to protect the inheritance that his father left him. He leads him to a room where Victorio is tied up. He pats Victorio on the face and says he is going to protect Santa Catalina from damned people like him. Pedro informs him that after he attacked his home and family, death was going to be the least of his worries as he begins to work him over with a chain wrapped fist. Dante watches. 

41. Juan acknowledges that he hurt Sara but he did it to protect her. She asks since when do you protect somebody by breaking their soul into a thousand pieces. She is not interested in listening to his reasons and tells him to go make a family with HER. He tells her again to stay  away from Pedro for her own good. She doesn't appreciate him telling her who she can and cannot be with. He emphasizes that Pedro is not an easy man and he cannot control him. Sara reminds him that love has nothing to do with control.  She wipes away the tears and smiles saying that it is over. He cannot believe it. Pedro is his brother. She say all he needs to care about being more united with Pedro than he ever has been. She won't get in the way of forming his family with Juli. That is her final decision. They each need to find their own happiness in this world  but apart from each other. 

42. As Sara goes upstairs, Rosa and Juli wonder what is going on with her. 

43. Pedro washes the blood off of his hands in a bucket of water and tells Dante he can go.  Dante leaves slowly but pauses behind a chain curtain as Pedro asks Victoriano if he has ever heard the saying that revenge is sweeter than honey. Pedro just so happens to have a jar of honey. Dante records Pedro pouring honey all over Victoriano's face and his body. Pedro lets a jar full of ants loose on the floor. Dante smiles as he continues recording.

43.5 Pedro has Victorio's phone in his hand. (Is he recording Vic?) Pedro  says only a villain can punish wickedness. They are going to find out who was extorting his dear brother Juan. He puts the phone  back in Victorio's jeans' pocket. 

44. Pedro tells Dante to let Victorio suffer a while longer and then kill him, and throw him away far from Santa Catalina. Pedro wants him to be tortured more so it looks like it was payback for something he did. Pedro is only concerned that neither he or Santa Catalina are linked to Victorio's death. As Dante puts on his rubber gloves, Pedro tells him  to have a good time.

45. Juan is going down memory lane with Sara in his memories. Juli comes in  to ask him if he is okay because the baby is restless and  parents and babies have this link.  They feel what their parents are going through.  He asks if she remembers when she fell in love with him. Yes, she does! They were going to a lunch at work when her heel got stuck in a grating. He good-naturedly freed he shoe for her and put it back on her foot. Then at lunch he gave a spectacular speech about his vision  for the company. That is when she discovered he was the one she wanted to have a family with and have the protection and stability she so needed. He thinks that sometimes the more you protect a person the more damage you cause them. He protected her and their child. She knows that deep down he wants the same things that she wants out of life; the same things that his mother gave his father. She can do the same for him. Juan looks at Severiano's portrait and then proposes to Juli. 

46. Cornelio wants to die (maybe he should go visit with Victorio and Dante can do him a favor ) not knowing how he will ever look his father in the face after this. Sal says if he is really sorry for what he did, he needs to go and confess to the police. Of course, Cornelio refuses. He is afraid. Sal says everyone is afraid in life some time in life. Cornelio is afraid of being alone. (if he is in jail, he will  have plenty of company!)  He doesn't understand how love is stronger than hate since it has only brought him betrayals and pain.  (what a limited definition of love this dolt has) Sal has  to remind him of his son and how he needs to be a better man for his sake. Cornelio feels guilty for teaming up with Deb and making this mistake. Sal is incensed. Cornelio explains that she was the one who helped him take Tadeo away and put him in contact with the criminals who  attacked  Simón. Sal is even angrier. 

47. Sara is crying on her bed when Deb comes in asking her what is going on.  Sara doesn't know what she would do if she lost her mother. She is all she has. All Deb cares about is the inheritance.  Sara says all it has  done is bring her sadness. Deb knows she is sayin the because of Juan. Sara says she told him that he needs to be with Juli. Deb agrees and adds that  they can rot away together. Sara asks her mother what she thinks of Pedro. Can she trust him? Deb says he is a bit impetuous which shows a certain intensity and is a leader. He has good intentions from time to time that is. Sara sees Pedro and Juan as being so different. Deb thinks that Pedro is one of those men that love hasn't been fair to. He and Juan suffered so much; especially him. Sara tells her mother that she met Juan and Pedro's mother. 

48. Juli is so happy with the proposal. A resigned looking Juan acknowledges that he knows that marriage is very important to her  and he wants the mother of his child to be happy but that doesn't mean that he loves her.  Juli's smile disappears. He will do what he must because he has been the witness to what happens to a child when the mother is filled with resentment towards the father. He won't let that happen to his child. Juli tells him not to be concerned. She is sure that one day he will learn to love her as much as she loves him. That is how she will love their child. 

49. Deb sarcastically  comments about what an honor it must have been to meet Rómulo and Remo's mother. She guesses that Juan and Pedro's mother wants to be magically reunited with her long lost sons . Sara says that is exactly what she wants. Sara has no intention of getting messed up in all of that. Deb thinks that is the right attitude. Then nobody can blame Sara for anything like destabilizing the family. Let all of them solve their own situation. In the mean time, she can get closer to Pedro and see him as a man because what a man he is! Sara cannot believe how positively she is talking about Pedro. It strikes Sara as being very strange. Deb reminds her that Pedro saved her life. You can see that  Pedro loves her from miles away. Deb advises her to go for it but never ever forget her inheritance. 

50. Sal tells Cornelio to wake up and see what he has  become. He has attempted to kill another human being and acted against the law of god. Cornelio whines for him to stop torturing him. Sal starts to drag him to the police where he can make a statement against Deb and the bastards that he joined up with. Cornelio wrestles himself away from Sal and insists that he  cannot do that because it would be like a dagger in his father's heart. Cornelio goes running out as Sal calls out after him.

51. Adela comes looking for Sal. She asks him what is wrong. He explains he has  a hurt deep down in his heart that he cannot get rid of. She believes that every problem has a solution except for death. She is there  for him for whatever he needs. He thanks her and they hug. 

52. Modesto awakens to Berta. He asks for Cornelio. She says he came by earlier  but the doctor said to come back later. He asks how she got tasty. Berta says because nobody was going to make her leave. She is very stubborn just like somebody she knows . . . They both laugh. He has to hold his side where he was shot. He mentions that they are now calling each other "tú". Berta says that is fine by her. It is  not uncomfortable at all. She mentions all they have been through together and how he defended all of them and Santa Catalina.  He says it is no big deal; he just did what came his way. Berta says it was a big deal for her. She is going to ask Juan for permission to make him a special dinner to welcome him back in the manner he deserves. He asks if Cornelio said anything. She shakes her head saying how stressed he was and that he would be back to relieve her. Modesto grabs Berta's hands and thanks her for not leaving him alone. She tells him that there is somebody there that cares for him. She does. She explains that for so long she felt absolutely nothing in her heart. She tells him she loves him in French. He doesn't get it and she giggles. 

53. Dante escorts  Aurora back to a room at a hotel. He nastily says that the good thing about going into a hotel with HER, is that nobody could ever think they were up to something.  She asks how her sons are. Dante says they are alive. He says they were given the fright of their lives but miraculously survived some how. If they could survive the beatings at her hand and the bad life she gave them, what could a few bullets do? She is sorry for the bad life she gave them. She explains that some women forget how to love when nobody gives them any love themselves. Now she only wants their forgiveness and to hug them. Dante laughs finding it all so "moving" and he asks about the inheritance. She insists that she has no interest in that. He doesn't know why she would have come back if it weren't for money because money moves the world. Dante says it is nothing for nothing. If she wants to be put in contact with her sons, she has to do something for him. She asks what? He wants her to help him control Pedro. 

54. Pedro comes back to his room and is enjoying remembering the pain he caused Victorio digging his fingers into his bullet wound. He then remembers being beat by his mother and is disturbed by the thought. He tells his mother  to get  out of his head. He doesn't need her nor does he want her back in their lives. As he is shouting at his  mother in his head to leave, Sara overhears him and comes to see if she can help him. He grabs her and hugs her. He asks her for help. Only SHE can help him.  

55. Juan comes to visit Modesto. They miss him a lot. Modesto says it won't be long until he is like  a turkey fleeing from the  mole(sauce.) They both laugh. Juan says they got them all except for one but it won't be long before they have captured him, too. He assures Juan that they will pay for their crime. Modesto says he feared for the worst when he saw Cornelio at the  hacienda. Juan tells him that Cornelio stuck by his side the whole time and will be back in the morning to see him and take care of him. Modesto smiles saying his son loves him. He thought he hated him until he saw him crying when he got shot. 

56. Juli gives her mother the good new. Rosa already starts thinking about them taking a cruise to Europe so she can buy her wedding dress in Paris. Juli says no boat. They will go by private plane. Rosa sees its finally justice being done after ll of those years being Juan's novia. Juli thinks it was worth the wait. Rosa says tomorrow they have to bring roses to the Virgin for everything she has done for them. Juli mentions that Juan wants her to keep it quiet about the wedding right now but she cannot wait to shove it in Sara's face. Where is she anyway?  Rosa says she saw her go  into Pedro's room. Juli looks shocked. Rosa says Sara doesn't know which brother to get involved with to end up with it all. It is hard for Juli to believe she would be after Pedro. 

57. Dante is going to give Aurora all of the info she needs to approach Pedro. That way she will be able yo get to know him and get into his head much more quickly. Aurora asks how is she supposed to control him? She makes it clear that she wants to be on good terms with both of her sons not only one. Dante tells her it is her fault for having given birth to a monster. The boys are like Cain and Abel. She doesn't remember it quite that way. Dante informs her that Pedro is capable of killing Juan easily in order to get his own way. He wants her to stalk Pedro, fill his mind with memories and drive him crazy. She gets upset asking how is she supposed to do this to her son. Dante grabs her by her face and says if she disappears, nobody will cry because she is gone. Does she think her sons will bring flowers to her grave? He reminds her of will happen if she leaves this world without their forgiveness. 

58. Sara sits on Pedro's lap as she "comforts" him and asks him what is going on. He says that Juan got a call supposedly from their mother. He knows it is a lie because that woman disappeared from the  face of the earth just when she abandoned them. He asks her not reject him. He needs her and  asks her to help him with his thoughts that are tormenting him. Nobody sees Juli with her phone taking photos/recording (?) at the door. Sara asks if he is talking about his memories. She knows how that is and tells him to get them out and leave them behind. She kisses Pedro on the cheek and we hear a photo being taken. 

59. A beaming Berta says they have to make sure that Modesto is taking taking his meds. He is  such a fool. Modesto smiles. She leaves and Juan tells Modesto that Berta is in love with him. Modesto says that he lies. She said something like "Yo te  em" or something. Juan informs him that  she was telling him she loved him in French. Modesto looks surprised. Juan gets a text. Juli has sent him the photo of Sara kissing Pedro. She asks him if they will be having a double wedding. Now there is nothing that can come between her and Juan. Juan doesn't tell Modesto what the message was but only that it broke his heart and there is nothing to be done about it. 

60. Pedro tells Sara what great girl she is and how her eyes hypnotize him. He only wants to make her happy. She turns to leave looking  a bit doubtful wiping some tears away. Still in his room,  Juan smirks and nods behind her. He even chuckles. 

61. Modesto tell shim every problem  has a solution in this life. Juan  says shahs completely lost Sara. he tells Modesto that he has always knows there is nothing more important than family. He knows how bad parents can affect their kids forever. Modesto  says that people should sacrifice themselves for  whom they love. That is how their father was and Juan is. Juan says it is for that reason that he has decided to marry Juli. Modesto knows he is doing it for the baby. He doesn't want his child being born without him there. Modesto says that his whole world will change when he first holds him in his arms. His whole life will also change when he marries Juli. Juan sees it as the way it has to be so he is sacrificing his love for Sara. Modesto adds that one is capable of doing anything for their child. Modesto is so proud of him. He is a great man. Now, Juan is worried that Sara has a relationship with Pedro. Modesto knows Pedro can love but he also can hate. Unfortunately his ability to hate has always been the most powerful of the two. Juan knows he has to protect Sara from Pedro and Pedro from himself.

62. Aurora agrees to Dante's terms but shines going to get to know both of her boys. She makes it clear that she will need time and all of his assistance.  he makes it clear as long as she is with him, she will have all of his support. he makes it clear that nobody is to know he is involved. She says she is a tomb. Dante stays behind to relax and gets a call from Deb. She tells him it is urgent that they meet early tomorrow. He says eh will see her at the hacienda.

63. Deb runs into Pedro and tells him that Sara is thinking about him a lot thanks to her help. When will he give her the check? He answers tomorrow he will put it into her account. He caresses he face. She recoils. He adds that she has done a great job. Deb looks upset. 

64. Pedro says that he tried to tell Sam the truth but she wouldn't listen and he gets that. Then there was the shootout. He was between a rock and a hard place. Who to protect?  Modesto can understand it must have been hard.  He also tells Jan that if Sara is with Pedro she is doing it out of spite because he knows that Sara loves him and he loves her. Juan doubts she would ever be happy at his side. Modesto can only shake his head. 

65. Sara is praying for strength when Juli comes to visit. She doesn't know what Sara  said to Juan but she wants to thank her because Juan proposed to her. Sara is pleased that they will have  a united family. Juli says that Sara  was the only one  blocking them from having a happy family. Sara assures her that she and Juan do not have a relationship so her happiness is in her own hands.  Juli disagrees. As long as she is around Juan, she will be a danger. Sara makes it clear that she isn't leaving for her or anyone. Juli says she thought that she would be more understanding growing up without a father. Sara says she isn't influencing anyone. If Juan proposed to her, she congratulates her but as far as Juli not being sure if she will be able to hold on to him, she cannot help her.  That is Juli's problem alone.  

66. At the hacienda in the gardens, Dante wants to know what is so urgent. Deb says she is stressed out. He tells her to take a vacation. He himself is thinking abut taking a vacation. Deb asks with his family? He doesn't want to talk about it. She says of course he doesn't. She sees him as the typical man who is always leaving his wife but never does. Anyway, she doesn't care about that. She has something much more important. Juli could be Severiano's daughter, too. 

67.  Everyone getting ready to go to work or the babysitting service  in the case of Tadeo.  Rosa is all excited to see her 30,000 peso ($1,493.00) grandson's cradle. 

68. At the breakfast table, Lucas tells Pedro he is going to see Alondra but will be right back. Juan reminds him he needs to go with the new bodyguards. Simón says that may not be necessary and hands Juan his phone. It turns out that Victorio's body was found at the bottom of a ravine. Lucas assures Juan that is the guy.  The news article says it was a case of two gangs settling the score. Victorio had signs of having been tortured severely. 

69. Dante said that Juli's parentage had crossed his mind but they shouldn't let it worry them. Deb asks how can they ignore it. She could be one more heir. She also could contest the will. Dante thinks that if Rosa hasn't said anything  it is because she is not stupid. Rosa has not intention of losing her family. She has it all with the child that Juli is expecting and even more if Juan decides to marry Juli. Deb would love to see Rosa burn for it all. Dante is sure that will never happen because Rosa will take that secret to the grave with her. Dante reminds her that silence is golden. 

70. In the Del Monte living room. When Rosa tries to correct Tadeo for jumping while hanging on to the crib, Pedro is  quick to tell her that nobody corrects his son in his home. If he breaks it, he can buy a much more expensive crib to replace it. Sara kindly explains to Tadeo why they have to make sure the cradle is in good shape for his little cousin when  he arrives. Rosa and Pedro start to a argue about who is going to be known as the first born son of teh Del Montes. Rosa is trying to get Berta back to work for her but Berta is not taking the bait. She tells her that you never know what you had until it is gone. Simón tells Pedro that Victorio was found dead. Juan adds that he was found in ravine. He had been tortured. Pedro says he hopes that he suffered a lot. Rosa thanks God that he was trapped. There is real justice in this world! Juan reminds them all that they still need to be careful even with Victorio being found dead. Pedro si surety police will want to question them again. Simón adds that  Victorio had lots of enemies. Juan warns them not to say anytime to the police without Dante being present. Lucas hope snot to be bothered gain. he said what he has to say. Where is Mateo? He magically appears with his new novia Julieta Baby. 

71. Now after Brandon has been giving his version about what happened at the hacienda, he finds out he is getting more female attention.  Dulce has been monitoring the whole interaction via Brandon's phone and tells the girl to live him alone. 

72. Juan welcomes Julieta to the family. Tadeo notices there are two Julietas and that they sort of look  alike, too. They all make pleasant small talk as Adela serves some coffee. Juan says that Modesto will be getting out today. Mateo explains that he has been like a father to them. Julieta says he will be like a father-in-law to her. Before they leave for work, Lucas has some news for them. On the phone they found on Victorio there was evidence that he had extorted many people including Juan Del Monte. Everyone looks at Juan. 

73. Berta, Bea and Adela all talk about what a terrible person Rosa is as Tadeo colors in his coloring book.  Berta says if Rosa  wants her to take care of the baby and raise it in the right way including being a "polyglot",  she will have to pay he very well but then again  she might not have the time. She just "might" be having a wedding of he own. Everyone smiles. 

74. Dante advises Deb that they need to sit tight until things get under control because Sara contested the will and that will bring new problems. Also,  she is just about to take over the presidency of the company. Deb thinks that now that Sara has Pedro on her side that will help out, too. Dante warns her that Pedro is a demon. Deb thinks that her daughter is a goddess that can get any field bird to eat out of her hand. Before he can reply, Deb wants to know when they can get into their "charity" money. Dante says they have to have another heir fall first. 

75. Happy times at Prospi's house now that Rosa has forgiven him. Jessica says that remains to be seen knowing how she is. Prospi insists everything is okay and there is more. He wants to renew his marriage vows. 

76. Juan concludes that it must have been Victorio who sent him those messages. Pedro hopes he burns i hall. Sara want to know what messages Juan is talking about.  He says they were about extorting the family. He explains to Sara he never said anytime about the messages to  her because he didn't want to upset the family.  Sara criticizes him for not letting them know what was going on. He says he makes his decisions on what is good for all and his duty is to  protect them. Juli agrees with him. Sara makes it clear that she doesn't.

77. Deb and Dante come in with an excited  greeting from Tadeo identifying them as the novios who love each other a lot. Everyone turns to stare at Deb and Dante. 

78. Jessica complains to her father that renewing his vows is just corny. He doesn't care. When he saw her mother in danger he realized how great his love was for her was and his love for thirst of his family. Alondra thins it is sweet. He apologizes for not living up to his role in the past. He thanks God he has  a second chance. He is also going to try to encourage Rosa to go to couples therapy. Everyone is happy for Prospi but Jessica who has her doubts. Alondra is supportive  and  tells her sister that it isn't any of their business.  

79. Deb comments on "the things kids will say". Rosa chimes in with drunks and children always telling the truth. Deb says nobody asked  her opinion and Sara shuts them both down. Sara turns the conversation back on Juan and says she hopes that he knows what he is doing because there are so many secrets that separate the members of the family. Paloma is going to check with her father. Simón will go with her. Juan asks Dante if he saw about Victorio. He did and the police commander called him already. They will meet with him at the hacienda. Pedro suggest that car rides with him to work for safety's sake. She agrees. Since they are all together, Juan decides to take advantage of the situation and announces that he and Juli are getting married. Rosa gets up and  does a cheer for the novios  . . . all alone. Juli says finally they will be husband and wife. Everyone else is weirdly silent.
