Apparently I did check the schedule closely enough this weekend. It appears Ringo has been moved to 10 am and Corazón Guerrero is now airing at 1pm!!! I apologize for not catching it and warning everyone sooner!!! I just went to turn it on and found it almost over. It looks like the change is permanent, or at least through this week. I will update the page when I get off work.

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 51 – Part 1 of 5

Adrian and d. Abel discuss why Fede’s name is on the paperwork that Adrian got from his mom’s file. Abel tells Adrian it indicates that Fede received letters from his mother while she was a patient in the clinic. Adrian wants to know what the letters were about and what they said but since d. Abel isn’t psychic he gives Adrian the bad news; there’s no way to know unless you find the letters and read them! But who knows what Fede did with them.

Speaking of Augi’s personal henchman, he’s talking to Augi about the press conference and how Augi needed to clean up his public image, as Emma is trying to escape from home – and perpetual punishment – so she can go meet up with Belen. Emma runs into daddy and that could have been the end of her if it wasn’t for the fact that Augi pays zero attention to his youngest daughter and probably has no idea she’s even being punished. Emma hears Augi say he’s going to settle the ‘Elisa’ situation, but Augi tells her she’s an old girlfriend, his first-ever girlfriend actually; and she’s in need now so Augi wants to help her. He assures it’s nothing more than charity and asks Emma to keep it quiet as not to upset Vicky’s irrational jealousy. Dotting Emma agrees while gushing about how her daddy is the best in the whole world and if everyone knew that they wouldn’t make up stupid stories about rotten milk to make him look bad!!! (Darcy shakes her head at Emma noting how Augi isn’t even a good dad let alone a saint)

Mica looks for Emma in vain and runs into Vicky instead. Vicky wants nothing but her massage and some pain killers for her headache. She doesn’t even want to hear about anything else.

Loopy (Lupe) is remembering Augi’s words about wanting her and just when I wanted to shake her out of it, she tries to shake herself out instead and even prays for forgiveness for even thinking about it. She starts listing everything she needs to do instead and Conchita comes to join the conversation. Conchita wants to look on the bright side and Lupe wants out of Augi’s property TODAY! Concha doesn’t understand why, as Augi has been so wonderful to them. Besides, he left for a trip and won’t even be back until tomorrow. Concha doesn’t understand why Loopy is so upset and Lupe says ‘I don’t have any money’ Concha counters with ‘but you have lots of beauty and you can do it!’ LOL Before this conversation can get any further Mari returns home and has to inform her mom and grandma that she didn’t get the job because she doesn’t speak English. Now she has to add ‘learn English’ to her list of things to do before she can succeed in her career. Mom and Grandma encourage her, she can do it they know she can! (During this scene I wondered why Conchita was saying ‘Jess’ over and over but then I realized she was saying Yes.)

Damian is on the road and remembering the first time Domi told him she was falling in love with him. He says he loves her too, he loves her so much! Damian screams out ‘Te amo, Domenica!’ and at that same moment the sound of a motorcycle brings Domi to her window. It’s not Damian, and Domi too thinks back to times when they looked at each other from across the balcony. Why are you doing this? She asks the ghost of Damian, what happened?

Sir-Talks-A-Lot (thank you O.S.) arrives prattling on at the Augi/Garcia cottage and I didn’t pay much attention to all the many many many things he said, because for the first time ever I noticed how the ladies were laughing and trying not to laugh and I was wondering if it was actually the actresses themselves trying not to laugh! I also realized I admire the actor for getting through all that while maintaining a straight face himself!! At the end of this scene, Conchita mentions that Mica suggested they stop by the shop and borrow some sort of floor cleaner from Valero.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 51 – Part 2 of 5

Domi runs to Sam for answers because she can’t take it anymore. She asks him why Damian doesn’t want to see or hear from her and Sam tells her it’s because he loves her. Sam wouldn’t lie to her; Damian really does love her a lot and he doesn’t want to hurt her. Domi apologizes for asking Sam and says she shouldn’t have, but Sam says it’s okay. Domi loves Damian and he knows it. Damian loves Domi too and they will be happy together and Sam is also going to be happy.

Damian arrives in the town where mom’s exhibit is and checks in with Valero, he will call again when he has more news. An ad for Elisa’s exhibit catches his eye and as he’s reading and distracted, he runs into the woman herself! Face to face with mommy, and they both look long and hard at one another with a sort of half recognition that doesn’t quite register. Damian apologizes and says he didn’t see her and asks if she’s alright. More starring and just as Damian asks if they know each other, Santiago arrives and ushers Elisa away.

Mari arrives to the shop looking for Vallero and he’s nowhere to be found. What she does find is Jesus’s man dairy, she considers and remembers Jesus giving her permission to read it! Why not? He said she could. She picks up the book and starts to read. (Still not a fan of the Jesus/Mari relationship but I do like this song so I don’t mind so much) Mari reads all about how much Jesus loves Mariluz. We’ve heard this before.

Emma and Belen are out on their first girl date, eating ice creams and walking along. Belen starts pointing out that they are in a place full of snobby preppy people and Emma gets a little defensive saying not all preppy people are snobby, or does Belen think Emma is a bad person? Witch Renata appears as if summoned, and laughs about how Emma has fallen so far that now she has to hang out with the likes of Belen. She says she’s going to take a picture to post to her social media. Emma says to go right ahead. She’d much rather hang out with Belen than with a hypocrite like Renata (I can think of a lot more adjectives to fit Renata) and besides she’s an honest person with nothing to hide. Belen points out that Renata loses and Renata tries to interject but Belen talks over her. She tells Renata she acts like she’s the queen of the world but the reality is no one cares about her. Emma is a much better person who is smarter and more likable and Renata knows it, so she tries to make her feel like she’s less. Belen says she feels sorry for Renata and then turns to Emma and says let’s go find a place to hang out where the people are less toxic. They walk off.

Mari is still reading and it’s more of how Mari is the sun, moon, stars and everything. We’ve all heard it; I don’t feel the need to type it all out again. The funny is that Valero sneaks up behind Mari and says her name loudly which makes her jump a mile. Mari says she came for the floor cleaner and Valero says he already loaded it into Chabella. Mari says she’ll be going then and she starts to leave with the man dairy but Valero just takes it from her.

Damian arrives at a hotel and gets a room. While the receptionist is looking to see what room is available, Damian pulls his knife out of his pocket to cut into whatever fruit he’s eating (Mango?) The receptionist kind of eyes him, but when he offers to pocket the knife, she says it’s okay. She asks for his name and he tells her it’s Lisardo, Lisardo Sanchez!

The Garcia’s show up to begin cleanup at their place, Jesus also shows up with Sam, Domi and several neighbors. The Garcia’s have always been there for everyone else and now they want to be there for the Garcia’s in their time of need. Mari is feeling loving toward Jesus today so she’s happy to see him as well as everyone else.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 51 – Part 3 of 5

Damian arrives at the exhibit and recognizes his childhood from the very first painting! He is so overwhelmed he has to be told not to touch the paintings. He asks where he can find Elisa, and when he spots her and gives himself a pep talk about approaching mama.

Augi and Fede arrive at the event too and talk game plan. Augi’s plan involves a bright sunny daylight kidnapping and Fede tells him to be careful because there are witnesses here but Augi is so full of himself he can’t even imagine having any difficulties getting what he wants.

Damian continues to look around and Augi is spotted by an Opera singing Santiago. By the time Damian gets close enough to see Mommy, she’s already talking with Augi. Augi says Elisa is as beautiful as ever and Elisa in a far less friendly voice asks ‘How are you Augusto Luis Montalvo?’ Augi says he’s happy to finally see Elisa.

Adrian meets Emma at home and Emma says she had a great time with Belen and Adrian says she’s a good girl. Adrian is still distracted and Emma asks what’s up. Adrian says nothing and asks about Fede again. Does he live here? No, Fede has his own apartment and Emma points out once again that it’s odd Adrian is asking about Fede but he plays it off as curiosity since no one ever says anything about Fede. Emma doesn’t look like she believes him but she doesn’t question him either and Mica comes and breaks them up saying Emma better get inside because the witch wants dinner. Emma and Adrian kiss goodbye and share I love you’s. Left alone, we hear Adrian’s thoughts of needing to find the letters Fede must surely have in his apartment somewhere.

Augi and Elisa continue to exchange the opposite of pleasantries as Damian keeps an eye on them. Augi tells Elisa he thought she was dead and she says no, fortunately your thug failed in that attempt. Elisa says it’s Augi’s fault that she couldn’t be with Octavio in his last days or be with her sons as they grew up.

Jesus is taking out the trash when he realizes in lost Mariluz. Mari is in her room which looks surprisingly spotless after the explosion. Jesus finds her in there and they discuss everything. Mari tells Jesus she forgives him even though it hurts her that he slept with Carloca and she can’t really understand it because she can’t imagine giving herself to anyone except the man she loves, which is him! They start making out.

Augi wants to know why Elisa thinks he tried to kill her!!! LOLOLOL I’m surprised he’s denying it, he hasn’t exactly tried to hide his misdeeds thus far in our tale. Elisa says she saw him and she knows he wanted to get rid of the only witness to his crime!!! She doesn’t want to talk about that now though. Augi says he’s sure there’s a reason she appeared suddenly after all these years and she’s about to tell him. Elisa says she’s tired!! Exhausted, sick of living in the shadows! She wants to make Augi a deal, if he leaves her and her sons in peace then she will keep her mouth shut!! Just forget about her! Augi says that would be impossible as Elisa is still the most beautiful woman he has ever seen in his life and things would have been so different if she had chosen him instead of Octavio! Elisa doesn’t want to talk about that either, she suggests leaving the past in the past. She doesn’t care about land, money, any of it; all she wants is a peaceful life with her sons.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 51 – Part 4 of 5

Jesus is surprised Mari isn’t rejecting him as usual and Mari admits she read his dairy – but only because he said she could – she only read the last page that said how he felt about her and she feels exactly the same way. She loves him so much. Jesus says Mari can read the whole dairy if she wants but she says it’s not necessary. One day when this is over, he’ll tell her everything, until then she doesn’t need to know. Jesus is totally happy and Mari is happy but she has one worry, Carloca! She’s dangerous! Jesus says Carloca didn’t bomb their house, that day she was at the shop all day, the security cameras prove it. Mari says that’s nice, but she still doesn’t trust her. Jesus believes it’s as simple as having a little conversation with Carlota!! He’ll explain everything and she’ll accept it, she’ll have to! (Good luck with that!)

Outside the rest of the cleaning party is chatting over tea. Selena is here too now and eyeing Domi with a little jealousy, I think. Domi is fanning herself and holding her hand to her throat, she doesn’t look like she feels well, luckily Sam sees her and follows as she walks off. Sam asks if Domi is okay and as she’s trying to explain how she’s feeling, Domi collapses. Sam yells out to Jesus for help! Everyone comes running and Jesus, Mari, and Sam rush Domi off to the hospital. Loopy and Conchita stay behind with Villalba and Selena takes off toward the truck but stops short when she sees Adrain.

Adrian arrived wanting to talk to Jesus but Jesus just says he can’t talk right now and rushes off. Selena fills Adrian in that something happened to Domi and she’s not doing well, they are taking her to the hospital. Adrian says he just needed to talk to Jesus about something important and he guesses it will have to wait. Adrian doesn’t say much but he does mention it has to do with Fede who has something of his. Selena says Adrian should stay away from him. Adrian asks if she knows him and Selena denies it but says she knows what she hears about him from the neighborhood and it’s not good. Fede isn’t a good person and Adrian shouldn’t go looking for him. She repeats, stay away from him; I know what I’m saying.

Damian calls d.Abel and is telling him how Elisa is talking so long with Augi, he doesn’t understand what she is doing talking to him after everything he’s done to their family! D. Abel thinks it could be a trap and maybe ‘Elisa’ is an imposter and an accomplice of Augi’s being used to trick the Sanchez brothers. Damian doesn’t think so, if that were the case, Augi wouldn’t be here talking to her openly. He’d be hiding so he could trap them. No, this is his mother, he’s sure of it! He just doesn’t understand what she has to say to Augusto, d. Abel just warns Damian to be careful.

I don’t speak Spanish Medicine any better today than I did a few episodes ago, so I can’t tell you exactly what is up with Domi but I think it has something to do with her lungs still being affected from all the smoke inhalation during the fire. She overtaxed herself today and caused a crisis. Mari isn’t as affected because she wasn’t exposed to smoke inhalation as long as Domi was. Domi’s oxygen levels have to be stabilized and they won’t know more until she’s awake. The doctor says only one person can do see her and both Jesus and Mari look to Sam.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 51 – Part 5 of 5

Sam enters and starts talking to Domi about what’s going on and how he’s going to take care of her, she will be okay. He tries to get her to wake up but when she finally does (sort of) she says Damian…. No, he says, I’m not Damian, but Damian will come because he loves you a lot and when he gets here, he will take care of you. You will be okay! Can you hear me, Sam asks, but Domi is back asleep.

Elisa doesn’t want to be Augi’s enemy, she doesn’t want to have anything to do with him! Just leave her and her sons in peace and they will do the same! It sounds good enough, but as Augi points out, her sons did enough last night to demonstrate just the opposite! They are out to get Augi and determined to bring him down! Last night? Elisa asks with enough confusion to make it clear she doesn’t have any idea what her sons are up. Elisa wants to know if Augi was with her sons or saw them last night but he says no, but I’ll see them tonight, didn’t they tell you? Augi makes it clear he tends to use her as bait to draw out her sons and then maybe they can negotiate the pact she suggested then! Elisa wants to know where they are meeting but Augi says you know your sons; they are so untrusting they won’t be sending me the meeting location until the last minute! Elisa pulls away and says she doesn’t want to go anywhere with Augi, why doesn’t he just call them? Augi turns the tables and says why don’t you call them? Elisa hesitates and Augi says, what’s wrong? You don’t want to? Or you can’t? Losing patience with the game Augi pulls her close again and pulls a knife telling her she’s coming with him!!! Elisa asks why Augi always as to do everything by force (it’s because he’s a thug, hon) and says no one can escape from justice – I’m sorry but this is just an odd thing to say to someone who has been escaping justice for 20+ years!! Augi has the upper hand for the moment but just before our episode fades to black, we see that both Damian and Santiago are on high alert and moving in to intervene.

We’ll have to wait until Wednesday to see what happens since tomorrow’s show is preempted! Also note, I said above Ringo went to 10 am and Guerrero to 1pm, but those were central times. The revised times above reflect the eastern time zone.

First things first, Darcy. How’d your first day go? Hoping it was a good day all around as you wished. Our little tale delivered the action and drama (in no particular order) which I’ll dive into next.

Darcy, thanks for the recap of a very action-packed and busy episode. I don’t think you missed a beat.

I couldn’t stop laughing at Damián’s brilliant disguise (baseball cap and Aviator sunglasses) courtesy of Sam/Party City. So.Unrecognizable.

I noticed last week that Las García seemed to be trying not to laugh at Sir Talks-A-Lot’s wanton wordplay. Tonight this was really obvious, and I’m glad you picked up on that.

They are really spoiling me with more prominent Man Diary action. It’s real convenient that she only read the last page. I also liked how Valero spooked her and then relieved her of the precious Man Diary.

Not a fan of violence, but I was kinda hoping Belén (or Honest Emma) would sock some sense into Renata and her drones. Glad they took the high road.

Damian’s hotel check-in was twofold odd: why was he slicing and dicing a mango, and why did he register as Lisardo?!

If I were Emma, I’d have some real questions for Adrián on account of that blasted earring and his sudden obsession with Fede.#notthattheresanythingwrongwithit

So let’s get this straight. Augi was in love/lust with Elisa first. Than with Guadaloopy. Then Mommy Dearest?!! Or was Lupe first? The writers just blew his love lines way open!

2. Steve, I don't think there's going to be any change in the Primetime telenovelas. Darcy said Ringo would go to 10am. I guess you read 10pm. It happens all the time to me, lol.

My first day was sort of anti-climatic, lol I got assigned a bunch of stuff to read to get up to date on what's going on in the unit. Kind of normal for a first day but anti-climatic like I said.

Thanks O.S.! Don't forget Carloca's mom. So who came first? Mommy Carloca, Elisa, Loopy, then MD??? Or Elisa, Mommy Carloca, Elisa, Loopy, MD, or any other combination. I am guessing that Elisa was before Loopy and MD just because Jesus seems roughly Carloca's age and since Octavio was Augi's foreman it stands to reason it met Elisa when Octavio did which would have probably been either before his first marriage or during it. It does shine a different light on Augi though, he likes to act as if Loopy was the love of his life but then he talks to Elisa like this? This dude doesn't love anyone but himself!

I think Mangos are a little tough at the skins which would explain the need for the knife and I'm guessing... just a guess because it hasn't been explained that I heard, but I'm guessing Damian gave Lisardo's name to further the whole idea in Augi's head that the unseen Sanchez brothers are out to get him. Damian could be thinking he will go to the exhibit, whatever happens will happen, Augi hopefully will never see him but if something goes down; when Augi starts investigating hotel records he'll see that 'Lisardo Sanchez' was in town, and he'll know that the Sanchez brothers are after him!!! Or something like that.... Lisardo is the safest name to use since Jesus isn't utilizing his real name at the moment and you wouldn't want to draw attention to the names Damian Sanchez or Samuel Sanchez since Damian and Sam are using their given first names.


 

Guerrero. Excellent detailed recap, Darcy! I too am glad your first day at the new job went well. I loved how Belen helped Emma confront the mean girls. And Belen is a good amateur psychologist too. I also loved how the whole neighborhood showed up to support the Garcias in the pozoleria cleanup. I wonder if Elisa's scarf conceals a head injury. I also wonder what specific misdeed Elisa witnessed. We'll probably learn both of those things fairly soon.

I get irritated whenever someone (why is it usually a woman) says something along the lines of I forgive you for sleeping with someone else.He didn't in this case, but still. I wanted to shake Emma when she was going on about how great her father is. I suppose that's to be expected from soneone who still tries to please their mother when I could just be angry at her. Does anyone know what song is playing inLupe/Augusto scenes?

I live in Kansas City and the big celebration parade was going on yesterday for the Chiefs win, plus I was working so I watched more than a little distracted. Let's see what I can remember happening:

Elisa was saved by Santiago making a big musical scene but Augi slipped her a phone (I think) and said she'd better call or her sons are in trouble. Damian also intervened by calling in a complaint about Augi and naming himself as Lisardo. Elisa hears this and tries to locate her son, Damian tries finding Elisa again too but neither finds the other. Damian does learn enough to realize mom doesn't live in that town, she just set up the exhibit there.

Damian returns and when he goes to the hospital Domi wakes up. Sam is once again reminded that he has to move on from Domi. He later gets into a fight defending Selena from some jerk her was treating her like a prostitute (maybe she used to be)

Domi and Mari talk about loving the Guerreros and having to wait until their 'mission' is over so they can be told the truth. Domi says she doesn't know what that is either but they need to trust their men, they are good people.

Emma and Belen are hanging out again but I forgot where they went or what they were doing.

Vicky set up some sort of romantic interlude for her and Augi but when he couldn't be dragged away because of work Fede ends up going in his place. Adrian snuck into Fede's apartment - following Fede in I think - to look for his mother's letters and I think he found something? I can't remember exactly but I don't think we saw much - perhaps today.

Sir-Talks-A-Lot proposes to Lupe in an of course lengthy discourse - I don't believe we got an answer before the end of the episode.

That's all I can think of right now. Please help to fill in details!! :)

Guerrero. Thanks for the episode update, Darcy. Good for Damian that he called the police! I suspect that given that we're not even halfway through this novela, all the attempts by the Guerreros to actually interact with Elisa will be failures. But we will be teased a lot. :) Adrian did find his mother's letters. Now, can he sneak them out? Heriberto should wait until after lunch to propose--otherwise Lupe will never eat anything.
