I'll be doing a very short mini-recap of tonight's episode sometime this evening.
Steve Boudreaux
Howdy from the Alamo City folks. Here's a very short mini-recap of tonight's episode:
*Psycho Jaime & Dahlila getting their freaky stuff on over inside the freaky creepy strip club LOL.
*Alfaro calls Dahlila on the phone. It seems Dahlila is laying on the bed having a good time.
*Diana flexing her sexiness looking at herself while speaking with Berenice.
*No appearance from Ritula.
*Corina sneaks to grab one of the Zambrana henchmen's phone by texting a message to Colon, who received the text message.
*Crazy Tracy gets scolded by her Lackey about Corina, etc.,
*Psycho Jaime & Dahlila return to Alfaro's office.
*Castillo & Karla having some dinner at her penthouse apartment.
*Ishmael & Co., discussing some unknown strategy.
*Aurelio meets Mecha at her place in Mexicali.
*Crazy Zambrana notified by one of the Zambrana henchmen about grabbing Corina & taking her somewhere.
*Colon confronts DEA Boss about what happened to Corina & I'm surprised that Colon hasn't figured out that DEA Boss instigated the kidnapping of Corina when Crazy Tracy & her Lackey grabbed her.
*Backup comes to the rescue of Felina, Super Javi & Co., in Bogota, Colombia.
*Earlier on tonight's episode, we see Laura & Diana eating some dinner in the kitchen of the Casillas family ranch.
*Alfaro talking with Psycho Jaime over something.
*Berenice & Isturiz being a potential couple ? We'll see 🤔
Steve Boudreaux
* Cesar scores the pergola job, confirms Renata was who Adriana last called.
* FJ convinces Noelia that he he's a friend of her mothers and wants to help find her.
later we see FJ with gun in right hand, drink in his left, revenge is the order of the day, Dad wants to talk.
* GumChew shows up with a warrant to talk to Noelia, Cesar pulls his daughter away, is she YOUR daughter GumChew asks, stopping the conversation COLD.
* flash back shows Ines is stiffed $10K for shoes and dinner by Mariana, Camila suggests she was scammed, lends her the money, wonders if the foundation was at risk.
* Olga puts the bikini bottoms (only) in Camila's drawer, as Renata searches for them.
* Chuy comforts Alejandra holding out so far on becoming her spy.
* Noelia has spilled she was alone with mom and dad both gone the night Adriana disappeared, EVIL GumChew puts Noelia behind bars, in his cruiser, evil, evil, evil.
I want to know where Mariana's red car is.
Deb: I'm aggressively Doubling-down on Adriana had it coming of getting whacked!
Steve Boudreaux
Deb, thank you for the recap. I think I have most of the characters sorted out as the evil ones line up to create havoc for the good .
Mariana\Adriana\Diana (MAD)is slowly being depicted as a pretty shady grifter with a confused husband and a lover.
Chuy and the Senator (?) ...what is that about?
Ed Yanez is a pretty smarmy womanizer in this shpw.
Susanlynn, I'm relatively new to Big Ed, but I really like him in this one, he is so smooth, does he even have a job?
Deb, Big Ed played many galan roles on shows on Univision . His characters are always heroic and charming , so I think he has a hint of charm even when playing a villain . I guess his job is head of the family business ....I don't know what the company is. Was the company from his family or his wife's ? His wife is a nasty, elitist , conniving person, so we have to wonder how the two got together .
deb, thanks VERY much for this short but perceptive, on target recap. And yes, GumChew is evil, evil, EVIL!! I wonder how he managed to get a judge to agree to his questioning Noelia by herself (isn't that against the law for a child so young?). And, of course, what he does at the end of the episode is even worse: taking Noelia away (to an orphanage) in a barred police car. I keep thinking of Weirdo's inspired comment in the previous Caray page: "The perfect plot twist would be that the gum-chewing cop killed Adriana/Mariana." The more we see of him, the more I wish this unlikely possibility proves to be true! Perhaps GumChew will turn out to be a thwarted client of Diana de Nadie and kills her/them in a rage. Yeah, I know, but....
I still have more questions than suggestions. Alejandra wants Chuy to get information about Adriana, but how is he in a position to do so? I do like his responses to Alejandra about forgetting Francisco, whose treatment of her means he doesn't deserve her, and Chuy's assuring her that other desirable men would eagerly line up to date her. (Though frankly I think she's a [fill in the blank].)
I'm somewhat confused about the bathing suit (bottom?) that Olga thought was Camila's. That bathing suit doesn't look at all like the pink top that was found in the water with blood on it. So what is the relevance of the multi-colored bottom?
And great question about Mariana's red car!
Again, MANY THANKS, deb!
Thanks a lot, deb for the great recap.
Susanlynn: I really like MAD for Mariana/Adriana/Diana. All of them end in -iana. Maybe it's some sort of pro tip if you want to have multiple names. Homework: think what other names you could have if you did it like Mariana.
Jokes aside, this is getting more confusing by the day.
I know Big Ed from Falsa Identidad. Didn't he also play the galán in Corazón Salvaje?
Juanita, I'm glad you enjoyed my comment. This guy is actually suspicious, but sadly I do not think the writers will take it there. I like your suggestion that he was a client of Diana. I would actually like this plot twist. I'd be something different.
I'm also confused about the bathing suit. I hope these writers clear everything up...
deb, thanks for your very fine recap. There is so much going on in such a short time!
I just binge watched all five episodes yesterday and am still on the fence about this one.
The cast is great but some of the characters don’t do it for me. If César had any brains he would have been honest with the detective from the very start. The sin of hubris???? He has nobody to blame but himself for his and Noelia’s predicament because he lied. I wonder how Camila is going to feel about him when she becomes aware of his duplicitous ways since we already know how she felt about “Adriana” lying.
The real source of power seems to be Renata who is content to let her philandering husband go his own way and stay out of her way. It is hard to believe that Camila never suspected her father was cheating on her mother. I had to laugh when Pascual described his cheating as a “weakness.” Guess he has to tell himself whatever it takes to be him.
At this point, the only character I have any real sympathy for is Noelia.
I read some place that this is supposed to have around 80 episodes.
Count me in . i, too,am confused about the multicolored bikini that Camila was surprised to find in her drawer . Que?????
Lots of fine looking guy guys but Ed still shines .
Weirdo, yes, Ed was in" Corazon Salvaje "remake . He was also in "Destilando Amor" in which he was so pure and faithful that he couldnt make love to anyone but his Gaviottaaaaaa ! Now that's loyalty . Sofia Vegara played a doctor in the jungle who fell in love with Ed's character , but he remained true to his one true love Gaviottaaaaa. He was also in galan in a telenovela opposite Erika Buenafil.
Weirdo: If this does have 80 episodes, that will be plenty of time in increasing the Body Count because this is going to be one of those conspiracy theories on why Adriana got whacked. This woman had a triple-quadruple double life 24/7; for all we know, she could've been some undercover DEA agent or FBI agent LOL.
Susanlynn: The days of Eduardo Yanez portraying Good Guys are officially OVER!
Thanks deb for your recap. I’m a late starter with this one and still trying to catch up by reading prior recaps. The 10pm slot is difficult for me though, and I don’t have a DVR. I’m sure Telemundo’s website will probably have episodes there, and I will catch them when I can. So many questions with this one! Suffice it to say I’m confused, lol.
Ed Yanez looks so different than the galan I fell in love with in Destilando Amor, but age has a way of doing that, lol. Not sure who to root for as I sort this one out, but the guy who plays Big Ed’s son is a handsome one, imho.
Hope I’m able to hang in there! Thanks again deb!
Camila drives Cesar home, leaving his truck, and missing the arrival of FJ.
the bikini bottoms make the rounds, not mine Alejandra tells Camila, must be FJ's lover Adriana, err... Mariana (I think this is the first connection Camila gets of Adriana/Mariana)
Renata butters up Alejandra, now wise to the game, as she knows Mariana was in their home as per the bikini bottoms, stunning Renata, who says they were to be a gift, nope, they had been worn Alejandra says, Renata wants them back.
dinner at del rio's, Tomas is ready to go to work for the family airlines, no way Renata says for the rehab lifer son, who no longer drinks but is surrounded by alcoholics and hangs out in the mirror room at the club.
Tomas waits at the foundation (or what do we call that place), for Camila, explains his invisibility like Ines, they bond, but what about that guy that hovers around Ines.
Eva shuts off Pascual, not happy being a toy that makes the marriage work.
Cesar slugs GumChew (first name Elvis) who is quick on the draw but stopped from shooting, Cesar spills on Diana, Gumchew later raids the club.
Noelia can come home but Cesar has to leave, Gumchew got a restraining order against him, Camila picks him up.
Noelia stands in the window watching them hug, tears roll down from her eyes.
deb, thank you for both of your recaps! I am always so impressed when a recapper can get everything in the episode so succinctly. Jarifa, I hope you continue to watch and comment. I think this TN is panning out pretty well. carmella!!! So great to see you again!
Renata sure did show her true colors last night as a master control freak. She is definitely used to getting her way in everything and not being nice about anything.
Those bikini bottoms sure did make the rounds. The gum chewer is someone I would like to scrape off my shoe. Cesar is lucky he didn’t get tossed in jail. Marquez is the only sane cop so far. Is she helping out because she is good cop or because she likes Cesar?
Poor Noelia and the abuela. Glad the little girl is home, unfortunately she has to see Cesar hugging a strange woman in the driveway.
There were some comments/questions about Mariana and her hot red car. If I recall, FJ said in the second episode that he followed her from the foundation and she returned the car to a dealer, then took a cab to the stripper club. Guess she was pretending to test drive the car? Like most of you, I do not think she is dead.
Tomas and Ines, the Invisibles, are interesting pieces in this puzzle. We need to keep an eye on them.
Thanks again deb for the recap. I have some time tomorrow morning to do a recap for the episode tonight.
Deb, thank you for the recap.
As I said before, the guy playing Cesar was a bad guy in a show on Univision recently, so I am having trouble seeing him as the galan. Likewise, Big Ed Yanez used to play galans, so I am having trouble thinking of him as a bad guy with that signature smile of his . Punching the gum chewing cop didn't help. We all want to punch him but realize that is a bad idea.
Cynthia is doing a great job playing the controlling mother. Was the company her family's?
The young actress playing Noeli is quite good.
Thank you so much, deb, for the recap!
The whole bikini bottom business is slightly confusing.
I also don't think Adriana is dead.
Susanlynn, yep, I also have some trouble seeing him as the galán. He was Alfredo from Mujer de Nadie a few months ago, as you also mentioned.
I also really like Noelia's actress.
I usually don't pay attention to people's hair, but what the heck were they thinking with Cynthia Klitbo's hair.
Thanks again, deb!
Thanks SO much, deb, for your succinct recap, full of your usual witty and snarky style.
Yep, the small actor portraying Noelia is very good. I wanted to pick her up and hug her when she found out her father couldn't stay with her. I also thought Elvira, César's mother, could have handled it better. She was hysterical when they took the kid away, probably increasing the anxiety.
Camila and César have certainly gone from zero to sixty in a hurry. I couldn't tell if Noelia was crying more because her father was leaving or because she thinks her mother is being quickly replaced (when she saw the embrace out the front window).
They've gone with the classic, perfected by Univisión. Olga, the long-suffering woman who cooks, cleans, and does laundry, apparently takes regular rations of horse-pucky from Renata. She treated Chuy, Olga's very attractive son, the same way when he humbly reminded her he'd started taking classes and wanted to leave for an important exam.
Camila at first thought César was speaking with his wife in the car, the mother of Noelia. Big look of relief crossed her face when she found out it was his mother. I was surprised César said Adriana drowned. Is he ready to move on and wants to set Camila's mind to rest?
Next to my desire to punch Elvis Barros in the face last night was an equal balled up fist at the way Renata spoke to her son. Really, B&*ch, you have a child who's in recovery and wants to work in the family business, and you burn him to the ground with your sharp tongue?
I laughed when FJ accused his mother of being controlling. [Ya think?]
What's with Tomás and the rather sad visits to the strip club private room? He doesn't seem to really enjoy it.
Someone here commented about Alejandra's rather nutty desire to continue with Francisco. ITA. Who stoops so low as to want someone back who told you to your face, in front of his parents, that he was in love with someone else? But then, this is a TN. Scorned women never give up.
They sure are doling out slowly what happened that night Adriana disappeared. I had hopes last night when we saw the flashback of his waking up. But he never said where he went. The classic TN doorbell rang just then.
I also wonder whether Officer Márquez may have a small "thing" for César. It could just be that she feels obligated to put some brakes on high-handed Captain Gumchew.
I think Pascual might just end up with Eva. She hasn't been portrayed as an awful husband stealer, and she was SO humble apologizing to Camila last night.
One more thing. Tomás definitely chastised his parents for drinking what he called the most expensive wine in the house in front of him. I have a friend who's been in AA for 10 years now. I've known her for 20 years. But, from the beginning of her sobriety, she always urged me to go ahead and have a glass of wine when we dined out. She stopped buying it and having it in her house but felt like watching someone else have a drink and not having a drink reinforced her will power.
I'll be doing a very short mini-recap of tonight's episode sometime tomorrow.
Steve Boudreaux
Thanks VERY MUCH, deb, for another concise and helpful recap. I'm coming late to the party, so I'll just add a couple of points.
I cheered out loud when César slugged GumChew. I'm sure GCh is hiding something, and I'm hoping/expecting he'll meet a very nasty end.
Speaking of hiding something, it seems that just about everyone in this novela has hidden secrets. Even César, who lies to just about everyone. His strange behavior and unforthcoming statements make even his mother wonder, asking him "You didn't do it, did you?"
As soon as César and Camila embraced at the end, I worried that Noelia would see them, and of course she did. I found the closeup of Noelia staring out the window watching her beloved father embracing an unknown woman very moving, but also somewhat disconcerting. Noelia's face looked a lot older than that of a 9-year-old. I tried searching for info about the actor's age, but the closest I came was one site that said her age range was 13-17. Several places mentioned that she had been in a TV series called Era No Soy Yo in 2015, so unless she played a toddler, she's considerably older than 9. Oh well...
Like novelera, I think that Big Ed may wind up with Eva at the end. Renate is such a perra that she's likely to end up either dead or in jail.
I'm hoping that Marquez is helping César because she thinks he's being railroaded by GumChew and is probably innocent, but I suppose it's possible that she's also attracted to him. She does have one advantage over Camila: with Marquez, César would not have perra Renata for a mother-in-law.
wonderful comments all, you are really bringing life to this story.
and thanks VVS for the tip for Mariana's snazzy red car, I missed that.
once Mariana was on a roll I imagine life was a living hell for Cesar even if he didn't know the details and I imagine he was bending over backward trying to make things work, sacrificing so much that I'm thinking when people asked him if he killed her he was so taken aback that someone would think that of him, he was speechless (that's the idea I'm getting now that I know him better). But he did bend a bit for his mom, when he explained that when he awoke that night with a bad feeling he went searching for Adriana to try to make things right.
I have a Zoom class this evening and wouldn't be able to put up a recap. But I can do one tomorrow evening: Thursday.
I will have a recap up sometime tomorrow morning for the episode tonight. Thanks in advance novelera for the Thursday recap!
Novelera, VVS, Darcy, Weirdo, Deb, Juanita, Kirby, Halimacandy, Susanlynn, Carmella, OS, Dondi356, UA & Co.,: Howdy from the Alamo City folks. Here's a very short mini-recap of last night's episode.

*Colon sees Corina getting shot & runs toward her.
*Castillo & Karla watching details on Corina's kidnapping & the rescue attempt, etc.,

*Previews for tonight's episode show Aurelio, Ishmael & Colon rushing Corina to the hospital.
Steve Boudreaux
Episode #7 part 1 of 2
Noelia watches from the window as Camila hugs and consoles Cesar. Cesar is embarrassed by his emotions but says that his daughter is his world. Camila is very supportive and says he should stay with his daughter and not worry about the work for her family. No, he says, a social worker is evaluating if he is a good dad and it is good for him to be distracted by the work. They drive off and with an angry face, Noelia tells her abuela that her Papi has a girlfriend.
At the strip club, the gum chewing cop, Elvis (his real name just cracks me up!) interrogates the owner about Mariana/Adriana. He is surprised to learn that Adriana is Diana de Nadie. We get a flash back of Rocio introducing her “like a sister” friend to the strip club owner. Diana de Nadie uses her Argentinian accent and pole dancing skills to win the owner over. Rocio tells Elvis that she knew Diana/Adriana since she was a girl. Adriana would pop up every now and then. When she quit working at the library, Adriana called Rocio to ask for help with getting the job at the club.
At the Del Rio manse, Renata is verbally abusing poor Olga about finding the bikini bottom and not telling anyone she is looking for it or else Renata will kick her out and make her retire. Olga is devastated saying how could Renata be so cruel after Olga raised Renata’s kids so she could work? You were well paid for all that work, hisses Renata, and what kind of kids did you raise for me? A closet homosexual, a social activist who chases after low-life carpenters and womanizer just like his father who is about to destroy the entire family. Find the bikini bottom or else!
Eva and Pasqual continue their discussions. Eva gives him the ultimatum; it is Renata or her. Pasqual asks for a couple of days.
In the car, Camila gets Cesar to open up a bit and he tells her that Noelia is his life and after his wife disappeared….ugh I mean drowned, he says, it has been hard for both of them. Although he feels like it has just been him and his daughter for a long time. His wife did not take well to motherhood. Camila thinks motherhood would be the best thing ever for a woman. She holds his hand and says everything is going to be okay.
Elvis is back in the building (sorry, I could not resist) at police HQ telling Marquez how frustrated he is that everyone is messing with him. Marquez thinks that Cesar might be right, the killer could be at the strip club. Elvis makes the decision that Marquez is to go undercover at the club to get more information. She looks less than thrilled at this prospect.
Noelia is angrily drawing a picture of something while the abuela tells her that she is certain the woman with Cesar is just a friend and everyone needs a hug. Noelia isn’t having any of that and is just as rude when the friend from the grocery store comes to see her.
Camila and Cesar arrive and the manse. She opens up her car console and there Cesar sees the bikini bottom. He is pretty aggressive asking her what she is doing with it in her car. She tells him that the bottoms were in her underwear drawer and she thought they might belong to her brothers girlfriend. Cesar tries to recover his demeanor and they head inside to face Renata. While waiting for Camila to find Chuy, Cesar starts scoping out the place and sees a picture of FJ. He thinks to himself, “what did you to my wife?” Renata tells him to put down the silver picture frame. She is not pleased to learn that Cesar will be staying in the servant quarters while he works on the pergola project. Handsome Chuy shows him the way to his room.
Camila finds little bro Tomas in her bedroom waiting for her. They have a nice few moments together as Tomas asks his sister to hire him at the foundation so he can find purpose in his life and not fall off the wagon. She agrees, hugging him. (Camila is almost too nice for her own good). He also teases her about liking the carpintero.
Episode #7 part 2 of 3
In the manse kitchen, Olga is lamenting to Chuy how awful and ungrateful Renata is. Chuy thinks they should leave right away before they both get fired. Leave? says Olga, this is the only family I know, I cannot leave my kids. This gets quite the reaction from Chuy. I am your only family and only kid, he says. Olga gets rather discombobulated by this comment and turns away from him. (What? Is Chuy not her son?).
At the company HQ, Alejandra busts in on FJ and lets him have it for allowing his lover to post photos on social media with him. She has a reputation and career to think of! She then tells him about Camila finding the bikini bottom in her wardrobe be and thinking they were Alejandras, brought them to her. She knows the cheap brand must belong to his amante Adriana! FJ just focuses in on the bikini bottom and rushes out of the office to find Camila, leaving Alejandra, in her bumblebee outfit (that matches her hair color and roots) sputtering.
Back at the manse, Chuy is trimming hedges as Camila and Tomas come looking for Cesar. Cesar was just here, says Chuy. She seems disappointed and asks Chuy to tell Cesar she is looking for him. Cesar is roaming around the house looking for evidence in FJ’s room. He almost gets caught by Olga.
Camila and Tomas arrive at the foundation. Ines is thrilled that Tomas is going to work there as the financial auditor.
In the most interesting scene of the episode, Pasqual comes to Renata’s office to tell her he thinks it is time to separate so they both can be happy. Her reaction is rather subdued as she runs through the list of why he should already be happy. We discover that the company is indeed hers and she came from a rich family. Pasqual was the don nadie who she fell in love with and he with her.
It is not all about money, he says. He claims he was the one who brought the company up from near bankruptcy because he has audacity, intelligence and training to have made the company what it is today. She was nothing but a spoiled rich girl who never would have been able to do what he has done for the company. He has no plans to leave the organization. She tells him to leave her office and get back to work. In a face off, he tells her that his decision is firm, this time, she will not be able to talk him out of it. (Guess this has happened before).
Back at the manse, Olga and FJ are in the kitchen talking. He assures her that she will always have a place in their home. His mom was just having one of her fits. Chuy comes in and they shake hands calling each other “brother.” Chuy asks about Alejandra and FJ asks about the new carpintero. Chuy says the guy is doing a good job but seems to vanish for long periods of time. Camila arrives then and asks FJ what the heck is going on with him and what does he know about Mariana?
Cesar is indeed snooping and not working as he comes out of Camila’s bedroom. Camila and FJ come down the hallway discussing the bikini bottom. She meets FJ in her bedroom to give him the bikini bottom only to find that it is no longer in her wardrobe where she left it. We see Cesar the bedroom hiding. (Did he recover the bikini bottom?). FJ tells Cami to stop looking he has a good idea where the bikini bottom might be. He promises to tell her more later as he leaves, calling for Olga.
As Cesar sneaks back out of Camila’s room, he gets a text from his mom saying that Noelia thinks he has a girlfriend.
Episode #7 part 3
In the kitchen, Chuy and Olga are having dinner, she tells him that FJ came to ask her questions (about the bikini, I am guessing) and she had to tell him the truth. Camila enters asking for Cesar. He just left, says Chuy. Left? Where and with who? Cami demands. Chuy says she will catch him if she hurries.
Cesar is in his truck about to head out when Cami knocks on the passenger window. She definitely does not look pleased and demands to know where the heck he is going? He pushes back saying he isn’t allowed leave? They banter for a few seconds until a car pulls into the driveway and Cami realizes it is Renata. She pulls Cesar around his truck to hide while her mother goes inside.
In those close quarters, she smiles and tells him she sorry for overreacting. He tells her that he doesn’t have a date with anyone but an eight-year-old who saw them hugging and has now imagined a full-blown love affair that he is having with Camila. She seems to like that thought and they move closer together and the episode ends with us wondering if they will kiss.
Hi all! There are 3 parts to this recap. Ignore the first post that says 2. It has been a while since I have done recaps and I am having trouble counting my words to fit what is allowed. Can't wait to hear/see your comments about this episode!
wow VVS, super recap !!!
you are vary good at blending together all the stunning moments.
the bikini bottoms are still on tour, I laughed when Cesar almost choked at seeing them in Camila's car.
and the look om Marquez's face when Elvis tells her to go work at the girly bar, ha!
or when Olga talks about her kids and Chuy goes, "what about me?"
I really don't like the scenes where someone sneaks around in places they shouldn't be but when Cesar was hiding in a nook from Olga, was he also across from a full length mirror where anyone in the room would see him?
seems the family has settled on the explanation that Tomas is gay, but we have yet to see that.
not sure if I'm comfortable with Camila using every vulnerability of Cesar to move in for a snuggle, was that a spat of jealousy that Cesar is not using his time at the mansion to spend with her?
and didn't our emotional detective Paco, Paquitos, FJ, jump ahead to Renata murdering his only love?, looks like Renata has her hands full with Pasqual and Pasqual jr.
VVS , thank you providing this excellent recap of every moment as this story unfolds.
Where's Waldo? Where's Cesar ?.... Could have been the title of this episode ...Or perhaps " Whose Got the Bikini Bottom?" Evidently Mar\Ad\Di only wore the bottoms which seem to be sprinkled all over the place like the breadcrumbs in Hansel and Gretel.
Whenever I see Chuy hovering silently in the background in his white tee and tool belt , I hear " YMCA" and look for the three other Village People .
The police woman is going under cover aT the strip club . What could go wrong? I am sure that smarny Chewy will be there every day...investigating . uff
So far , this is a fun ride .
MANY THANKS, VVS, for this superb recap! You cover everything important clearly and concisely, and you raise several possibilities I hadn't considered. One certainly is your parenthetical "(What? Is Chuy not her son?)." Hmm, that may help to explain why Olga is so uncomfortable in the discussion with Chuy! I thought she was just embarrassed that she put the three Del Rio kids on par with Chuy and that Chuy was understandably annoyed.
Renata refers to Tomás as a closet homosexual. I had considered that possibility but wasn't at all sure. And, of course, Renata's not exactly a reliable source. But if he is gay but uncomfortable about it, that may explain why he goes to the club to watch the pole dancer and, perhaps, hope to be aroused.
I loved your description of Alejandra "in her bumblebee outfit (that matches her hair color and roots)."
I hadn't thought that César found the bikini bottom. I assume he raced out of the house in order to try somehow to reassure Noelia that he doesn't have a girlfriend. But, of course, it's not clear how he would do so in a way that would require him to leave in his truck. OTOH, if he did find the bikini bottom, what would he do? He can't go to GumChew with it--GCh would simply use that as evidence that César did indeed kill Adriana.
The two people who seem most desperate to find the bikini bottom are Renata and FJ. Renata angrily threatens to fire Olga unless Olga gets the bikini bottom back to her in an hour, and FJ calls Camila to say, with some urgency, "Yes, the bikini is Mariana's, and I need it right away." Why would he need it right away if he had nothing to do with her disappearance? And what does FJ have in mind when he tells Camila he has a good idea of where the bikini bottom might be. Is he simply trying to get her to stop looking for it?
As you can see, I still have many more questions than answers.
Again, thanks immensely for this terrific recap.
deb, like you, I am not comfortable with how cozy Camila is with Cesar especially during the last scene. His wife just died, he is separated from his daughter, give him some space! Renata definitely has her hands full!
Susanlynn, always great to read your comments and episode titles. The Bikini Bottom Mystery. Chuy and YMCA song made me laugh. The actor was in Falsa Identidad and he always wore black T-shirts and looked even more handsome.
Juanita, I have a lot more questions than answers for sure. After reading your comments maybe Cesar didn’t take the bikini bottom. As you point out, who would he show it too? I think FJ wants the bottom to give to Gumchew and get Cesar arrested. With Renata, who knows at this point.
