Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 87 – Part 1 of 4

Meanwhile, Vicky and Augi are back in their bedroom and a night of passion is on the menu, Vic looks pretty maneater-ish in her black bra and robe, but I think that’s the idea. She sweet talks Augi and they get down to business.

Elisa is an expert in technology it seems, I wish I was. She’s trying to find out everything there is to know about the Brothers Guerrero now that she knows they are her sons. Santi says he will help her, she can count on him always.

Jesus brings a old childhood toy has a gift for his baby but Carloca isn’t in the mood, she’s too wigged out by the million dollar thugs.

Vicky and Augi are cuddling after sex and Augi starts making excuses for why Vicky won’t be getting the money right away. The money is tied up you know, it’s not easy to liquidate that amount of money overnight. Vicky is pissed as she comes to the realization that Fede may be right. Augi is unconcerned and somewhat insulting as he thanks Vicky for the night of passion and offers to leave her a check for far less money on the nightstand!!! LOL He goes off to shower. Vic calls Fede, she’s ready to meet with him again tomorrow – at the same place.

Mari comes to eat breakfast with mom and grandma and they dot on her, hoping her sadness is over – cuz you get over these things over night you know? Anyway, Mari’s decided that to forget her personal disappointment and be proud of Lisardo for being such a saint and always wanting to help others. And she isn’t losing hope that she may one day see him; but for now, she’ll focus on her project. Mari mentions they have a meeting that day in Augi’s house and Lupe jumps right on my last nerve by saying: ‘No Marliuz! You’re not going anywhere near that house!!!’ She’s a grown woman lady, stop talking to her like a child. Mari mentions Patty will be there and Concha thinks that changes everything.

Emma begs daddy to help Adrian but he says no way!! It’s wouldn’t be good for him to go against Rod’s family. If Adrian is violent, that’s his problem! Augi doesn’t give a damn how Emma feels about it or if she needs her dad, in fact, she’s forbidden from every seeing Adrian again!!

Laura gets on to Adrian next, he’s distracted and making mistakes. Adrian tells Laura about the fight yesterday. Someone from an orphanage confirms that Lisardo spent some time in their orphanage and they can get the case file later that afternoon. Elisa notes that Damian and Samuel were not mentioned so they must have really been separated! Santi says if they were together, he will find out. The important thing is they have the first clue to the past of her boys.

Valero sneaks up on a painting Damian and tells him about the project to fix up Sam’s school. Damian should go and make himself useful and maybe make-up with Domi. Speaking of Domi shows up at the school with sandwiches for the crew and she wants to paint too! Sam discourages this at first, but Domi wins the argument and Sam makes her a paper hat to protect her hair while painting. Sam ‘teaches’ her to paint and I reach for my beanie but I suppose it’s possible a rich sheltered girl wouldn’t know anything about painting. Domi gets close to Sam while painting and he is clearly very affected by her nearest.

Elisa and Santi go to the orphanage and find out Lisardo was only there a short time and then he was adopted by a benefactor. Elisa also confirms that Damian and Samuel were never at the orphanage. Then it’s true, they were separated! They were just young boys, how could anyone separate them? (And I know Elisa was forced to leave and all, but it sounds like such an odd question coming from the mother who wasn’t there to make sure they weren’t separated)

Vicky meets with Fede and she gets the power of attorney, but there’s a catch. Fede wants something in exchange – he wants Vicky to first convince Augi to take him back! Speaking of Augi is handing over more of Augi’s old duties to his new right-hand man, Jesus.

Jesus leaves the office and runs right into Mariluz. He’s thrilled to see her but she’s not returning that sentiment. Her answer to his every question is ‘none of your business’ that includes the questions about what Mari is doing with the arriving Patty and whether or not they are dating.

Villa, Lupe and Concha are chatting in the living room about the aborted trip to France for Mariluz.

Santi is calling Elisa ‘mi amor’ today, so I guess that’s our answer? Not really surprised they are a couple, the signs pointed that way but they are the most hands off couple ever. I bet they have separate rooms! Elisa opens Lisardo’s childhood file and cries as she sees a picture of her baby at 10 years old! He was only 10 when he lost everything, his dad, his brothers, his home! Elisa needs to learn everything and Santi tells her not to worry, she soon will.

Sam and Domi painting team is a success but Domi has to leave! She has an appointment with someone who will hopefully help cover the cost of Gus’s operation! She is awful cute and cuddly as she says goodbye to Samu and thanks him for the painting lessons! Halfway down the hall, she remembers she forgot her cool new painting hat and decides to return for it! Sam must paint and/or write at the speed of lightening because he’s managed to create the message ‘I love you Dome’ in those few seconds!!! She comes back in and he’s embarrassed that she saw the message he only meant for himself. He begs Domi not to be mad, but she isn’t, she hugs him and thanks him for loving him so much. Damian witnesses this!

Some ratty employee at another location (adoption agency or something) calls Augi to inform him someone has come in asking about Lisardo!!! He records the interaction as proof and Augi sees and recognizes Santi.

Vicky tears through her room and her stuff looking for a handwriting sample? She finally finds her daddy’s old passport and confirms the signatures do not match!!! Oh, my goodness, the signature on the power of attorney is fake!

Domi apologizes to Sam for hugging him, she doesn’t want to confuse him. They are okay, right? She just came back for her hat. He made it for her and she didn’t want to leave it! She asks again if they are okay, she doesn’t want him to think…. Damian interrupts, what is he supposed to think? What should my brother think when you hug him like that? Sam tries to say he wasn’t thinking anything but Damian isn’t hearing it. He’s upset with both of them and leaving them to their painting but Domi stalks out quickly after, she’s late. Damian is waiting and he demands to know what Domi feels for Sam. Domi says unlike Damian, Sam is an honest man and she’s just honored to spend time with him. Damian isn’t amused, he wants to know exactly what Domi is saying, is she finally choosing Sam? Domi says she’ll answer his questions when he tells her what is going on between him and the painter – it’s obvious there’s something between them. This devolves into the two of them shouting in each other’s faces until Domi decides she doesn’t need this and takes off.

Jesus is crying about the fact that Patricio is ‘taking advantage’ of the fact that Mari is single… He knows it’s horrible but he can’t stand seeing her with anyone else. Neither d. Abel nor Valero have any sympathy for him, and they shouldn’t. d. Abel tells him to put on his big boy panties and let Mari move on!

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 87 – Part 3 of 4

Mari, Patty and Augi are having their business meeting which sounds a lot like a meeting of the mutual admiration club when Villa arrives and sounds a lot like a bunch of hot air blowing into the room. Augi isn’t amused but I am. Augi does tell Villa to make himself at home. Meanwhile, Vicky is still looking at the documents and drawing the conclusion that daddy didn’t leave her penniless after all. We get back to the ‘I love Mariluz’ meeting and Augi is throwing his support behind the project, he wants them to leave it in his hands but Villa isn’t interested in giving up the reins. They are just getting into this when Vicky storms in! She doesn’t give a damn about any meeting or any impression she’s making; she declares that the power of attorney is invalid because the signature is false. Augi quickly ushers her out what Vicky don’t care. She’s back to threatening Augi with her lawyers but he says that of course the signature is fake! The whole document is fake, the real document is with the notary! Vicky isn’t moved, she is more convinced every day that her father never left Augi in charge of her money!!! This isn’t a new argument and today it ends with Vicky demanding that Augi produce a handwriting expert to prove to her that the real document has her father’s signature. Augi says after it’s proven, Vicky needs to agree to let this subject drop forever! Augi starts to tell her how to reach out but Vicky tells him that he is going to take care of it, and ASAP!

The guards won’t let Fede in!!! LOL But this time he’s there to see Carloca and he tells them to call her and check. They must have because Carloca is in her sitting room putting money in a bag and telling the baby that she’s doing this for them, so they can be in peace! Note she did say ‘I’m not giving them more money than I need to…’ Not sure what that means? Maybe just that this is the first and last payment? Fede arrives for the cash and tells her not to worry, he’ll make sure those guys understand they can never contact her again! (right) and Carloca is surprised he’s helping but Fede says they are still his family and always will be, sooner or later Augi will forgive him. He takes off like the cat that ate the canary determined to solve all his problems and somehow get back into Augi’s good graces so he can get back in that house and find out what really happened with his father!!!

The next scene is disturbing with a capital DISTURB. First, we find out Selena is indeed miserable! She’s being forced to stay in the club 24/7 and is unable to leave! And more disturbing because of ‘Linda’ the club employee who comes to bring Selena food and seems crazy enough to make Loca look like the poster girl for sanity! She sees Selena entrapped and actually seems jealous of her because Selena is pretty and popular with the clients while she is mousey and can’t even walk well let alone dance!!! She keeps telling Selena it’s not that bad and the owners aren’t bad people, this is CREEPY!!!!!! Linda finally leaves and Selena sits down to eat having no other option.

Em arrives at the hospital and is annoying to see Laura but she is there for support! Adrian is a wonderful law student, but two is better than one, right? I’m rolling my eyes but Belen agrees with Laura and thinks she’s cool and it’s great to have her support so Emma bites her tongue as Adrian rubs her arm in encouragement. They all go to apologize to Rod for some reason. Rod is rude and we quickly learn for he got his bad attitude from as daddy shows up and as equally rude and insulting. No matter how many times I hear it I still can’t believe rational people are putting someone down for being an orphan in 2021 (when this was filmed). This ends badly and Laura basically says we’ll see you in court and until then we don’t have to put up with your insults.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 87 – Part 4 of 4

Mari, Villa, and Patty are leaving when they run into Domenica. Villa is being silly and saying a bunch of stuff I didn’t understand about romance and such. Domi laughs and agrees. Villa leaves and Domi is talking with Mari and Patty. They are having a perfectly nice conversation until Jesus comes up asking about the end of their meeting and making pointed questions about Patty’s attentions. Domi points out Mari is very single and can do what she wants. Blah blah blah.

The only good part of this is after Mari and Patty walk away and Domi hits Jesus with the hard truth! She tells Jesus to leave Mari alone, he could have fought for her and if he had; he’d be with her but he chose to marry Carloca. He didn’t put up and now he can shut up! Jesus tries to say he’s just worried about what could happen to Mari but Domi nixes that B.S and says nothing is happening to Mari, this is about what’s happening to him! ie. Jealousy and Jesus needs to just suck it up and get used to seeing Mari with other men. He made his choice!!! (You go Domi!!!! Every single word is GOLD!!!)

I also wanted to mention for anyone that might have started reading with comments and not seen it in the page description that zap2it is showing Guerrero will be preempted both Tues and Weds so I guess we have until Thursday to wonder what is going to happen next!

Darcy! Darcy! Darcy! What a fantastic cure for my Case of the Mondays. Thanks for the super duper recap. Our little show keeps moving right along, and you made me laugh, smile, and think!

“Lupe jumps right on my last nerve by saying: ‘No Marliuz!” - preach, Darcy!

I knew right when Valero advised Damián to join the paint project that we were going to get some drama. How cute was Domis’ paper painter’s hat? What I wasn’t ready for was Samu’s lightning-quick mural work. I don’t know much about painting TBH; is it customary for painters to throw up such affirmations in their work. I’m glad she was able to be honest with Samu and shut down Damián’s tantrums.

Jesús was rather annoying this episode. You made up for it all with “d. Abel tells him to put on his big boy panties and let Mari move on!”

Vic’s maneuvering with the Power of Attorney is bold. She’s definitely poking the bear!

“Disturbing with a capital DISTURB” is the perfect way to describe the scene. I was weary of Club Foot Linda from the get-go. I thought she was going to ask Selena for lessons. Her anvil should land on her good foot for not helping a fellow (trafficked) woman! I can’t wait for Samu to rescue Selena from this hell. It better happen!

Darcy, let’s not kid ourselves. Diabetics and orphans are still nowhere near the mountaintop. If we don’t get a PSA after all this unfortunate browbeating, we’ll join the Diabetics & Orphans Anti-Defamation League (DAOADL). Their fees are surprisingly reasonable.

I believe Doménica was the VIP of this episode. She had very little tolerance for BS and put several people in check. We’ll see what happens Thursday!!!

Guerrero. Superb recap, Darcy! "Vicki and Augi get down to business." Yep, and business it is! Oh, Mariluz! Choose Patricio! Augi shows his true colors to Emma. Both Adrian and Laura are both pretty knowledgeable "lawyers" even though they're only in their first year of legal studies. Sam has a remarkable set of skills: mechanic, gardener, housepainter, and lucha libre champ. When he acquires a basic school education (in Mexico I believe still for many the end of elementary school), he will truly be an amazing person (even more than he is now).
