Columba and Kika are sitting at a table with Ana Ju, slithery snakes stalking their prey. Columba takes AnaJu’s hand in a feeble attempt to convey her (in)sincerity. She knows AnaJu has been trying to find out about her parents. Does she know something about her mother or father AnaJu asks hopefully? Columba (lies) that she knows little about her mother but she does know her biological father! At that precise moment, Ramses walks up staring steely eyed at Columba. AnaJu tells him Columba was just about to tell her what she knows about her biological father! Kika wears an “oh no, now we’ve done it” guilty expression. Columba realizes she has been caught red handed and open mouthed..

The meeting with Leona, Gael, Camila, David, Josefa and Apolo continues. Leona tries to assure Camila she doesn’t want to take AnaJu from her, but she does want AnaJu to know she gave life to her. Leona will try to get AnaJu to love her for who she is – her mother. Camila protests that Leona will only confuse AnaJu and distance her from Camila. Josefa intercedes fearing Camila might have an emotional crisis but Camila won’t be silenced! Camila fights back that she has been tied to her chair for years, having to keep quiet and unable to fight for or defend what she wants. She worries they are going into an abyss of lies and deception; all because this woman came into their lives. In her haze of fear and grief she spurts out that Leona/Marena should have died! Gael steps up angrily telling her never to say that again. The woman he loves is alive and she has to accept Leona is AnaJu’s mother!

Ramses tells AnaJu that Columba has nothing to say about her father, who was a very bad man. AnaJu looks incredulous and sarcastically retorts that oh, so not only is my father a coward but a bad man too! She doesn’t want half-truths; she wants to know where she came from. Ramses (unbelievably) states she doesn’t need to know. Her family is here, in this house, with her now. AnaJu won’t be deterred saying she wants to know her roots. Ramses evilly tells her that her father doesn’t deserve her. He abandoned her and her mother right after she gave birth. She doesn’t need to know the name of that miserable man!

Gael assures his beloved sister that he isn’t against her. He pleads with her to put herself in Leona’s place. And who will put themselves in my place Camila retorts tearily? He arrived with a newborn and put her in Camila’s arms on their father’s orders. Camila had been trying to get pregnant and then AnaJu arrived and saved her. Camila gave AnaJu all the love she needed all these years. A mother is not only the one who gives birth but one who raises the child, and Leona didn’t do that. Leona agrees but adds she couldn’t do that because Camila’s father stole that opportunity from her! Camila now knows her father is a terrible man who stole AnaJu from her right after being born. He thought he could kill her just as he murdered her family. Leona will be eternally grateful to Camila for raising brave and noble AnaJu, but she can’t keep her from telling her children that Leona is their mother tomorrow. It is important to note that throughout this discussion, David sat at Camila’s side, staring hard eyed at Leona.

AMOR INVENCIBLE #60 Part 2

Clara has Silvano by the scruff of the neck asking why he’s there. Benja and Flor try unsuccessfully to get her to back off, even though they tell her she is scaring Lili (me too I add). Clara won’t stop until he promises not to return. Silvano threatens if she doesn’t stop hurting him, he will tell everything he knows. Clara says he is now threatening them and unless he stops talking, she will cut his tongue out. Silvano says she is a bad person; all he is trying to do is to be a good father to his daughter. That earns him a slap despite Benja’s protestations that violence won’t solve anything. Clara says Silvano has no shame as he never bothered to take care of his child before and can’t repair all the damage he has caused. Flor holds Lili as Benja puts his arms around Clara.

Romeo is in Consuelo’s hospital room, staring at her. He takes the covers down to reveal her chest wrapped in bandages and we see a tube filled with blood.

Lola, wearing a black sweater embroidered with red lips, protests that she doesn’t want to see Calixto but he insists he hasn’t stopped thinking about her. Calixto tells her Jeremias will be working for him and in exchange, Jeremias will allow him to formalize their relationship. Lola reminds him he wants to keep her safe so Calixto adds they will need to be very discreet. Calixto is getting a divorce and when he defeats his enemies, they can shout to the world about their love. Delusional much Calixto??

At a happier venue, Matias shows Jacinta his drawing of her. We see only her eyes and Jacinta stares, not believing she looks that beautiful. She sweetly thinks Matias must be blind as there are many more beautiful women in the world. She is nervous about being in a new relationship as she has never been with anyone else other than her ex, the father of her children. Matias takes her hand and brings her over to the couch and tells her to sit but she sits on a table. They hold hands as he tries to make her comfortable by asking they get to know each other. They have all the time in the world ahead of them. He asks if he can kiss her and she nods yes. They share a lovely kiss as he gently cradles her face in his hand.

Clara continues to upbraid Silvano, insisting he leave. Flor finally interrupts telling Clara it isn’t about her or Flor, it’s about Lili! Clara tells Flor she is making a mistake. Silvano then agrees to leave after Flor asks what is going on between him and Clara.

Jacinta is shaken and stirred and grabs her purse and starts to leave. Matias asks when she will return so he can finish the painting. He asks her about the kiss but Jacinta smiles that she doesn’t know what to say.

Leona tells Camila they shouldn’t fight between themselves; it is AnaJu who should decide if she will accept Leona as a mother. Josefa tells Camila she has a good heart and hopes she will support Leona. Gael says Leona was separated from AnaJu for years. David joins the rallying cry in Leona’s defense but Camila cries Leona can’t expect to walk away with everything. Camila asks to leave but she wants to walk out as David helps her.

AMOR INVENCIBLE #60 Part 3

In the glass house, Ramses tells AnaJu he loves her with all his heart and can’t stand to see her suffer. He holds her shoulders and hugs her tightly to him. AnaJu questions why he loves her if she isn’t of his blood. Why doesn’t he love his other grandchildren or his own children? Good question viewerville murmurs. Ramses (lies) that he does love them but in his own way. Surprisingly he adds he has spoken with a priest and he doesn’t repent for anything he has done to get where he is. Picking up on the obvious, AnaJu asks if he has done bad things. Ramses can only say he has made mistakes and made impulsive decisions. He murmurs that the world isn’t for the weak or insecure. All leaders have seen people die so they can be victorious. He asks that whatever happens, she shouldn’t stop loving him because she represent the purest of love in this world.

The camera pans from the outside terrace to back inside the house where Columba and Kika are watching this touching scene. Kika wonders why her grandfather doesn’t hug her that way. Calumba replies (lies) he only feels sorry for the bastard. In a soothing voice she tells Kika not to worry because when she finds out her father and grandfather are liars, she will hate them!

Josefa agrees that Leona should tell AnaJu she is her mother. When Leona tells them she will talk to her children, he wants to tell AnaJu he is her father too. To Josefa’s great joy, Gael reveals his son is alive and it’s Benja!

There is a quick flash of a stained glass cross and then, we see Leona at Consuelo’s bedside. She tells Consuelo she is telling her children she is their mother. (We sincerely hope this was the middle and not the beginning of the conversation). When Consuelo asks about Gael, Leona tells her she is discovering Gael isn’t the villain she thought he was; he is truly regretful and is fighting for her love and the love of his children. Consuelo wonders if Leona could love Gael again. Leona’s mind flashes back to their rooftop kiss as the camera scans the panoramic view, but her face is expressionless.

Getting into bed, Ramses kisses Josefa on the cheek which she promptly wipes off (twice) with her hand, disgust and revulsion plastered on her face. She finds Columba’s bracelet, wondering what it is doing there (not a brain teaser) as she smells perfume on the sheets. She shoves the bracelet in a drawer. She recalls confronting Columba some time ago as to where she was when she sauntered in late (from being with Ramses of course).

The planetarium’s dome shines with reflections of bright lights and thousands of stars. Leona has chosen this spectacular setting to impart her life-changing news to her children. Benja and AnaJu stare at the celestial display as AnaJu wonders why Leona chose to meet them there. We next see Leona, a vision in stark white as she arrives, thanking them for coming. In a lovely and touching speech, Leona wants to bring them to the stars as they are the sun and moon of her existence. She wanted to meet here, away from everyone else as it is time to confess that she loves them so much! Leona flashes back to her oft recalled imaginary scene of holding both of her babies sitting in the boat by the sea. AnaJu looks a bit bewildered but tears are forming in Benja’s eyes. Leona says that without knowing who they were, she loved them the first time she looked into their eyes. Her heart is beating so fast! She shows them the tattoo on her arm, which she got for them. AnaJu is the moon and Benja, the sun. AnaJu wonders how she could know if she got the tattoo before they met. There is a split screen of AnaJu and Benja. Leona asks if they have heard of the impossible being possible…and of dreams coming true. Both of them are the dream that she thought she had lost but now has; that she treasures with all her heart and will become invincible.

AMOR INVENCIBLE #60 Part 4

David is telling Jacinta that at this minute, Leona is telling AnaJu and Benja she is their mother. Jacinta holds a pair of Benja’s baby shoes and they talk about how he was as a child. David smiles that they thought Benja wouldn’t forgive them, but he is still here, faithful, and loyal. David hopes Benja will love Leona as much as he loves Jacinta.
Gael is kneeling at Camila’s side as she sits in her wheelchair. They hold hands, Camila fearing AnaJu will hate them. Gael tells her they need to trust AnaJu’s love for them although he has a sense of dread as AnaJu will have every reason to stay away from them. Josefa arrives and interjects she knows how they are feeling as she also has doubt. Josefa is proud of Camila for allowing Leona to talk to AnaJu. Also, she is overjoyed she has another grandchild. David warns them that they need to be careful because if Ramses finds out, everyone’s lives will be in danger.

Leona holds two paper boats reminiscent of the ones she released into the sea as tears stream down her face. Leona prayed so many times in front of the ocean to be able to tell them her story…and now she wants to give them the little paper boats which represent her respect for whatever path they choose to take. Mi nina, mi nino she chokes out. AnaJu asks why she talks to them as if she has known them for a long time. Leona cries that they were born from her; she is their mother and she has needed them all her life. She wants to tell them that she didn’t abandon them, they were taken from her and she was made to believe they had died. She has missed them for 15 years! But today that ends, she can look at them and call them her children. AnaJu then asks how that can be since she was told her mother’s name is Marena! Leona explains that she IS Marena. She had to change her name and morph into another woman to escape and survive. AnaJu softly asks again if Leona is her mother and then stares asking if Benja is her brother! Benja admits that he knew Leona is their mother. AnaJu questions how long he has known and also asks who it was that separated them.

Ramses walks down the church aisle toward the priest. He tells the priest about his new plans. The priest thinks Ramses has repented (really, Father?) Ramses laughs and tells him that the new plan includes an assassination that will shake up his family.

Columba greets Josefa flaunting her bracelet, offering to give Josefa one of her other bracelets. Columba flashes back to planning the bracelet in Josefa’s bed. Josefa cooly declines because women like her (Josefa) don’t like to use something another woman has used. Josefa thinks that Columba wouldn’t dare (but we know otherwise)

Columba is outside sipping a drink and nibbling fruit. She uses a new phone to send Josefa a text that her husband has been making a fool of her for years. Does Josefa want to know who her husband is seeing? Columba says “boom” and puts her face up to the sun (sadly, it doesn’t melt).

AMOR INVENCIBLE #60 Part 5 (Last)

Camila and Jacinta sit with David and Gael (respectively), as a split screen shows they are wondering and worrying how “the talk” is going. Camila is concerned, wanting to call AnaJu but Gael tells her to let them have their moment. Jacinta worries whether Benja will accept AnaJu as his sister. David tells her that AnaJu and Benja have already been friends for quite a while and have made a special connection. Gael also comments on how AnaJu and Benja have been together as friends and now they will have to face their new challenge of accepting the truth. Cami and Jacinta both talk about what a wonderful person Leona is. And that she deserves the happiness that was taken from her.

AnaJu challenges Leona to tell her who hurt her so much…everyone has lied to her and AnaJu trusted her. Everyone else knew while she (AnaJu) suffered. Ben explains that Jeremias told him and he only found out a few days ago. AnaJu asks why Leona hadn’t told her before. Leona explains that they had their families and mothers who adore them. Leona realizes that her true challenge is to be part of them so that they can one day accept her as their mother. AnaJu tells her that if Leona really wants to build a relationship with them, there should be no more lies. She has begged everyone to tell her the truth and now she begs Leona to tell her the truth. Leona cries that if she hadn’t told them anything it’s because their lives would be in danger. They could kill her (Leona) just as they killed her parents. AnaJu asks who would want her dead so Leona replied, “your grandfather, Ramses has always wanted me dead!”

Where to begin ????

I can not believe that Camila said that Mar should have died. What an awful thing to say with both Marleona and Gael standing there right in front of her. Unbelievably cruel , cold, and unfeeling .

Speaking of cruel, cold, and unfeeling...and add crazy..what is Colombia up to, and what will Ram think if he finds out? . I loved Jo's response when Col offered her a bracelet about not using what was already used. Heh . I don't think I have ever seen anyone wipe off a kiss as vehemently as Jo.

I liked that we got to see the start of The portrait. I took an art class years ago and drew portraits of my kids and nephew . I didnt start with the eyes , but I was amazed to see that was the way one of my classmates started his portrait .

Thanks, for your very fine recap, Diana. I so enjoyed it this morning. The episode was well-done but there was way too much conversation and not enough action in this episode for my tastes. Is it me or is Ramsés looking more crazed all the time? His visits with the priest are just as perverted as he is and the closest thing we have to comic relief in this drama.

I was also shocked when Camila said Mar should have died. I can't defend her but that remark was definitely out of character. Her world is imploding and she struck a truly low blow.

Columba knows full well what Ramses is capable of. Columba is certainly pushing her luck, persisting in revealing exactly what he has forbidden her to.

I have no artistic talent whatsoever. I did not take after my mother, a beautiful artist. I was heartbroken when her artwork portfolio was lost years ago. Pictures truly worth a thousand words that were irreplaceable.

Oh my heavens, the dialog was streaming full throttle, no one seemed to take a breath. Sometimes I feel there are too many brief snippets of scenes, a few repetitive and as you noted, some quite unrevealing.

I had to smile grimly that Ramses "visits with the priest are just as perverted as he is". Yes! And the priest remains so stoic! I'd be wringing my hands and shielding my eyes from the sight of him.

Clara, initially opinionated, righteous and unkind, has morphed into a dangerous woman. Even her daughter, (a police officer for heaven's sake) seems to cower in her presence. Someone needs to stand up and put her in her place.

Diana, I, for one, want to hear everything that Silvano knows, presumably, about Clara. She has gotten worse and worse throughout the novela and now it seems is hiding something. Hmmmm.

Thanks, Diana and RGVChick, the recap told me so much more than I picked up in the episode! I thought Ramses was going to kill his whole family! I wonder who he plans to kill, he has a lot of choices, he seems to be mad at most of them right now!

A couple of heartwarming scenes, the planetarium was one of them. And Josefa learning about Benja!

Then the cruel scenes, Columba getting ready to tell AnaJu the truth, with Kiki looking on enjoying the moment. I’m surprised Ramses didn’t kill her right there! It is strange how much he loves AnaJu. And the bracelet in the bed. I couldn’t tell if Columba had two the same and left one, or if it was a flashback, when she was wearing it. She’s definitely stirring things up!

Camila wishing Leona had died was truly horrible. I hope she eventually feels bad about that.

Clara is horrible. Silvano looked like he wanted to tell something but was almost afraid. I still believe she prevented him from showing up at his wedding. But she must have something on him to have the power to keep him quiet.

This is now in it’s last weeks! I feel like things are going to happen fast.

I can't believe all the good guys know so much of the truth. Not surprisingly, it looks like AnaJu will burn with anger while Benja stays his same sweet self. Will AnaJu be able to suppress her feelings with Ramses?

Camila surprises me too with her bitterness toward Leona. Could that be more about David?

So Kika is going to let Romeo get away with rape and instead team with mom to hurt AnaJu? Hate it.

One moment stuck with me: the flashback to Leona and her babies on the beach, for whatever readin I always get emotional when I sez thay scene, it feels so raw. I also loved Benja's reactions all through Leona's confession. He already knew what she was talking about and you could see so much emotion in his eyes. I think at this point AnaJu will suffer more, because she has strong connections to both Ramses and Gael, the two people who are to blame for her being separated from Leona.

Niecie, ITA that Camila's reaction is more about David than AnaJu. She already disliked Leona, this is only adding fuel to the fire.

Jarifa, my gut is telling me that Clara made Silvano dump Flor at the alter when she found out he was a drag queen. She has become just as unlikable as Jerm, even worse, since for whatever reason, people still pay attention to her nonsense.

Susan, I think Columba has decided to play hard ball, expose her affair with Ramses. Does she think that if Josefa divorces him, he will marry her?? Poor idiot, she just signed her death sentence.

Liz, Columba ha a two bracelets set and she left one behind just so that Josefa will figure out that it belongs to her. As I said, she's decided to play her last card with Ramses, but why would she think she can be succesfull??

Diana, I have ZERO artistic talent, too. No musical ear or voice ,either. I do tjink I'm a decent writer and you, my friend, are an excellent storyteller, so thereis that :))

Adriana and Diana, you are both talented , artistic writers , and you both always paint beautiful pictures with your words . I have always loved art, and after I had kids , I took an art class with the art teacher who taught in the senior high school where I taught. He only wanted me to do pencil sketching. Oddly , I did a much better job with the portraits of our kids than with the still lifes he set up to sketch . He said that was because I had an emotional connection to the subjects. Matias's portrait will be beautiful because he is falling in love with the subject. Our older daughter bought me acrylics and canvases about 5 years ago, but I am not very good. I mostly paint beach and ocean abstracts because I love the beach and sea. That's another reason I love this telenovela. I love that painting of the red boat on the beach on the wall in the glass house . It is another clever detail someone creative thought up like the Original water globe gift from teen Gael to Mar and adult Gael giving her its replacement. *Susan*

Yes Josefa was thrilled at the news about Benja! She will be even happier when she finds out what a wonderful young man he is.

AnaJu's patience has turned to utter frustration as she has tried to find out who her parents are. She has always been the epitome of kindness but I think her patience in the face of the evasions and lies has really gotten to her. As she said, she just wants the truth and that's a fair request. Benja had the benefit of knowing beforehand and has had a bit of time to assimilate everything.

Great question about how AnaJu will interact with Ramses. She is the one person who has his shriveled up heart. I'm not sure but I am fairly certain she is going to be beyond hurt and furious when she finds out Gael is her father. Benja's reaction? I hope it's as welcoming as what he has shown Leona, but I'm not sure?

You nailed it in that Camila's bitterness toward Leona is partly because of David!

Your reason as to why Silvano might have left Flor at the altar makes perfect sense! Whatever the reason though he should never have stayed away so long.

Susan, how lovely that you were able to sketch your children! I agree the emotional connection is a very important component. I hope you still have those!

The sea is magical and mystical, beautiful when calm but terrifying when not. Its lure is legendary and powerful. I also love the globe and am hoping it will be a small catalyst in finally bringing Gael and Leona together. I do believe that love can be recaptured, rekindled and fervently hope that is the case here.

Diana,I do have those portraits . The only time I ever saw my dad cry was when I gave him a portrait of our older daughter at age 2. My sister still has the one I did of her younger son.

I have been thinking about Kike , and I can't think how she could be Gael's daughter unless he got Colomba pregnant before he met Mar . Kika and Anaju must be about the same age. My guess is that Ram got Col pregnant and then forced Gael to marry her to keep Colomba and the baby in his house And Col available for trysts . However, if that is true, why isn't Kika his favorite? I do remember that in the flashback when Ram is holding newborn Anaju, he actually has a look of delighted love on his face. It's the only time I have ever seen that look.

Ram seems to love to torture that poor priest .

Regarding Sam's plan to kill a family member , there is one person he hates the most...Apolla. Ram enjoys tormenting and torturing Gael too much to kill him and lose a victim of his sadism.

Susan, my (faulty) memory is telling me that Ramses and Columba didn't start sleeping together until fairly recently. I think they toyed with each other for a bit before doing so. Ramses seemed to be delighted that he would sleep with his son's wife. I could be mistaken... I sense Columba's torturing AnaJu is part anger that Kika doesn't share the Torrenegro blood. TN law usually dictates the true biological parents are usually revealed so if she isn't Gael's, I think that will somehow come out.

Part 1 of 5

Estela attempted to assert her right to run the company as her sister's assets now belonged to her. Armando replied that this had to be proven by showing her will. Estela told Armando her lawyer was in charge of that. In the meantime she requested that he tell Angela to vacate her office. He told her Angela will stay. She accused him of keeping her there to be near himself. She made it clear she did not want Angela in the company. He said he would take care of it. He left his office. She looked up and said “Sister, this is for you.”

Angela did not like hearing this from Armando. Estela came in and Angela asked her why. Estela said she was the owner of the company and told Angela to vacate the office. After some hesitation Angela left to get a box.

Lamberto was doing internet searches into Fabián's background but could not find anything beyond the fake page describing him as a fashion photographer.

Angela took her stuff out, speculating that Estela was going to send her back to the dungeon but Armando told her not to worry about it; that would not happen, He told her that for the time being she would work with him as his personal assistant. That was alright with her, as she thought she would be in his office. He said No, he would find another place for her. She handed him his phone and he called Ingrid to send Renzo in.

The nurse in Tijuana who admitted Eva to the clinic was in the office when she saw the Amber Alert. She checked with the receptionist and was told that no address was given on admission. [Someone should have been suspicious about this.]

Sandra locked Aurora in her cell, telling her she was following orders. She was not to mistake instruction for friendship. She was there to work with clients and make money. Aurora cried.

Angela got a desk in an inner office as Renzo carried it and the chair and put them in place. Armando turned to leave and Angela asked what he wanted her to do. He said she had to do whatever he tells hr to do. She said “Okay.” but probably wondered what the guy at the other desk was thinking. Ingrid said she would give her Armando's appointment book. Angela said she would be taking care af all that from then on.

He has not suspected that the child had been kidnapped. He said to call the authorities. She called the hotline number and gave all the details she had.

Barros called Estela to tell her to report the next day in Alcocer for depositions for the nullification. He gave her a case number, which she wrote down. She called the others.

Vanessa roughed up Aurora to give her what she said was an antibiotic injection. She forced her onto the bed face down and injected her in the arse. Aurora cried. [I think she broke Victoria Ruffo's record for this.]

Lamberto went to Natalia's office about Aurora. He described what he knew. He included Fabián's name and the fact that he could find no real information about him online. She had not contacted either himself or her husband. He himself and Aurora were estranged and Carlos had told him that things between himself and Aurora were not going well. He speculated that Aurora ran off with Fabián since no one had been able to contact her.

Angela told Estela she was now Armando's personal assistant. Estela laughed. Angela did not take this well; she obviously understood the double-entendre. Estela made the implication that women like Angela have this title for all kinds of services. When Angela objected Estela said one should not be offended by the truth that ”Armando now has a personal assistant for that which a secretary doesn't have to do.” Estela immediately left and confronted Armando about this. He said she would do things he could not. Estela thought this was bullshit and he said that he does not mix business and private life [Tell us another one]. He then went into another version of saying that she knew nothing about running a business. That she was an excellent mother and a good housewife but he needed someone like Angela in the office. She was not to tell him how to run the company. She told him not to declare victory and this was only the beginning. “If you want war, war is what you get.” “I don't want war,” he said, “ but if you want it, I'll give it to you. And you know what? You will lose it. Now, if you will permit, I have things to do.” Estela laughed once more about “Personal assistant” as she walked out.

Lamberto told Natalia he could not find out more about Fabián. He also said that Fabián's offer of the modeling job looked suspicious. Natalia asked whether Aurora took her cell phone and Lambertp answered that all of Carlos' calls went to voicemail. Natalia asked for Aurora's cell number in case the phone was still intact so the cyber division could trace it.

At dinnertime Carlos told Hector there was no news about Aurora. Meche had gone out. Carlos was sure Aurora had abandoned him. He had the same theory, that she left him fir Fabián. Hector had no good opinion of her but didn't think that she would abandon her family. It made no sense that she would leave to sign a contract and not return. Things had started out badly on the honeymoon and Carlos realized he had made a bad choice. The only good thing out of all this was Leonor. Hector said to Carlos he should learn to live without Aurora. Carlos just wanted to change the subject. They started talking about the hotel.

Veronica told Jaime that Eva was better. He still tried to con her into believing that Andres and Elsa were trying to take Eva back and she was not believing him. She had come to think he was hiding something from her. He said again that he loved Eva just s much as she and would be lost without her. Veronica asked him if that was the case why did he not want her to take Eva to a doctor? Veronica was tired of living like a fugitive and would hear no more.

Lamberto told Silvia how useless he felt in the search for Aurora. He felt he had to do something.

Meche and Bruno ate at his place. He had prepared the entree but not the dessert . She showed him photos of dogs she saw in a shelter. He asked which she liked best and she scrolled back to a Benji-type dog named Foco. When she described him as very sweet and affectionate he said “Yes. He will be our dog!” [Isn't this a little fast?] They did enter the bedroom [It has been our custom to leave such scenes as taste, decorum, and the censor dictate].

The next morning Elsa got up and told Horacio she had to go to the deposition. He asked her to hand him the papers on the table which turned out to be travel brochures for Italy. This was about the honeymoon they didn't have. It included Venice, Florence, Milan, and Rome. He jokingly threatened to sing “O Solo Mio” in the Piazza San Marco. Departure would be the next week. Horacio said it would be a little distraction. He even suggested throwing a coin into the Fontana de Trevi to help Eva come home. [I sense a hint of desperation here.]

Natalia called Lamberto and he hightailed it to her office.

Elsa got dressed to meet with the others to help Estela.

Natalia had the address where the phone was. Lamberto decided to go to Mexico City. She advised him to call the local police there for help.

Aurora had a conversation with Gilberto, the laundry man. He emptied the brothel's bin [which effectively erases any escape plan requiring it].

Armando talked to his lawyer about Irene's will. He said that Estela has invaded his territory on the assumption that Irene left her shares to her. “But as far as I know there was no will, at least in Mexico. I need you to find out if one exists in France.” “I'll take the responsibility. Did she have children? The direct heirs must be them.” “No; she never had children.” “Was she married?” “Yes, to a Frenchman.” “If there is a will her husband probably would inherit those assets. Do you have any contact with him?” “No. I met him years ago and I know nothing about him. Only that he lives in Paris.” “I recommend that you try to contact him. He would know if there is a will. If he is the beneficiary we can negotiate the sale of the assets.” “Well, I'll keep you posted in case I need anything else.”

Lamberto told Silvia he had to go to Mexico City.

Elena went down to the kitchen and Lily told her what her niece heard at the Hotel Miraflores about Antonia and Gerardo. They were moving to Chiapas. “Marvelous that this nobody is going away.” “Yes, but she is going with young Gerardo. It seems that he already requested his transfer to the hospital.” “How? Gerardo is going to live with her in Chiapas?” “That's what I was told. Ay, he's leaving you alone with his little creature.” “No, no. no. I will never permit that. Ever.” and off she went [to mount her broom].

Hector gave his statement to a judge. He spoke of the horrible conditions in which he found Estela and that he had to get her out of there. The judge asked about Leonidas' role at the facility. Hector answered that he was the director and had been Estela's attending physician. “That unfortunate doctor treated her so much that she could barely recognize me. She couldn't even stand up.” “Why had she been committed?” “Estela discovered Armando Quiroga, her ex-husband, I bed with his side piece. And was so shocked that when she arrived home she accidentally hit her son while parking. Quiroga took advantage to commit her, saying she had an emotional crisis because of the accident. For that reason she was kept drugged with the intention to erase her memory.” “Who made the diagnosis and instructions for treatment?” “Dr Leonidas. And Armando Quiroga took advantage of her condition to make her sign the document being contested. Now surely he ordered to change Estela's medical file to say that she was only hospitalized for an emotional crisis.”

Outside Gerardo told the others what he had said inside. “My testimony mentioned the consequences to the patient of electroshock. With this it must be sufficient to prove that Señora Estela was in no condition to sign that document.” “Hopefully that happens,” said Flor. Padre Reynaldo said “Let's trust that the authorities will do their job.” Elsa said “Because Quiroga is not going to get away with it. Because he already hurt my mom enough.” They agreed. Hector and Barros came out of the office. Barros thanked them all for their statements. Now they had to wait for a decision. Flor said “Oh, and that they put Dr. Leonidas in jail. What he did does not deserve God's forgiveness. He is damned. Thank God Don Hector got her out of that place. Who knows what else could have happened.” “God would not let that happen” said the padre. “Could you please let me know when you have news of the judge's decision?” “Yes, padre. Count on it.”

Bruno visited Hector in his office at the hotel. He told Hector he had filed for divorce and that he had no intention of taking advantage of Meche. He cae to talk to him so that he doesn't misinterpret his intentions. Hector told him that he always advised Meche when she asks and “if her happiness is at your side count on me.”

PI Carillo called Andres re the Amber Alert notification and said he was going to Tijuana to investigate. He had people who looked into these reports and told him to trust in the procedure. E will inform him when he is sure. Andres told him to do what he had to do to find her.

I'm capable of gong to live in Patagonia as long as I'm far way from you” “This woman has been manipulating you and you let yourself be influenced by her and leave me here alone to my fate with my pregnancy.” “You won't even let me go to the ultrasounds, Elena.” “Nor that you have begged me much. I told you it was not necessary and you stayed here so calm because it suited you.” “oh, please...” “What are you hoping for? That I would stay with my arms crossed watching you abandon your son?” “Look, I will not abandon our child. When he is born I will come to recognize him and once and for all we will establish the alimony before a judge that I have to give you. And I hope that we can agree so that I can visit him regularly.” “Do you think that I'm stupid? If you leave, I'm not going to let you meet your son. Elsa told Horacio that Hector had a recording of his conversation with Leonidas which contradicts the revised file. Nayeli came into the office to tell Elsa that Andres came to see her. She left the office. Andres told Elsa about his conversation with PI Carillo He hugged her and Horacio saw this.

Hector went to La Magnolia to talk to Estela, telling her it all went well. Estela was happy but a little worried. She didn't want to be near Armando another minute more. She was a bit insecure about running the company. She did not want to look weak in front of Armando. Hector said he would help her.

Andres told Elsa they needed to be ready to go to Tijuana to get Eva when they hear from the detective. He also told her that “Tommy” was a money launderer and that was why they ran off to Tijuana.


Lamberto drove to the address Natalia gave him. A suit-clad servant told him that the patrones were not in but would be back at 8 when the action begins. That will be when all the girls were available to customers. He could check the catalogue. Some were so pretty “you won't regret it.” He went back inside.

Elena went to Armando and told him she was pregnant and that Gerardo was deserting her. Armando told her he was involved an accomplice to murder. Elena looked sick at this. but we know she won't stop].

Excellent, Urban. Thanks. Your use of “arse” made me laugh. Yep, Horacio is desperate. You could see the defeated look on his face when he saw Elsa and Andrés hug. I actually felt sorry for him. He really does seem to love Elsa but it is hard to forget him having sex with Aurora behind his brother Carlos’ back.

Looks like Antonia’s happily ever after could be ruined by *itchy Elena with that tidbit of incriminating info about Gerardo. Antonia will only be freed from her if one of the romantic triangle ends up dead.

Will Lamberto call the cops or visit the brothel?

Lamberto Is being proactive ! Is he going to rescue his estranged daughter? Lamberto is certainly taking the bull by the horns and being much more proactive than Carlos and Hector. I didn't expect this .

Lily always helps Elena .What is up with that ? Is Armando going to try to blackmail Gerardo? Is Elena going to try to kill Antonia ?

Jarifa, I am so happy Lamberto has at least made some concerted effort to find Aurora rather than everyone else who is just sitting around waiting/wondering if she is going to call. I think he's going to pretend to be a client. We should find out soon!

Lots of dialogue and little action. I was shocked when Camila said Leona should have died. She took jealousy to a new level. Call me a snob, but I've never felt jealous of anyone.

I'm also disappointed Kika hasn't yet said anything about Romeo. Maybe she needs some time. Victim's guilt.

Regarding painting, I have an album of things I drew... Funnily enough I was looking at it yesterday. I had to drop drawing because I have little time but I miss it a bit. Oh well... Maybe I got some talent from my great-great-grandmother, who was a painter. I suck at portraits though.

Part 1 of 3

Ramses is still with the priest, giving him nightmares for years to come. It’s actually a funny scene.

Josefa tries to call the burner who sent her the text, but Columba doesn’t answer, she prefers to enjoy her mimosa. Ramses arrives, telling Josefa how relaxing he finds it to talk to the padre. Josefa wants to come with him to his reunion with the inversionistas, but Ram would rather they see one another after, for a nice dinner. Josefa looks pissed.

Lola comes at the glass house, demanding Calixto tell the truth about them. LOL
He tries to change her mind, but she’s firm in her decision, she’s sick of waiting. He better choose, or she will be going after another man, someone like Romeo.
Ramses arrives and sees them together, making Calixto admit that he loves Lola and he will defend their love. Ramses is actually laughing out loud, calling Lola a hooker and promising Cal to ruin him for not appreciating his daughter. Camila shows up just then for Ram to tell her that her husband has been cheating with Lola.
Camila and Calixto get into it, while Gael and Josefa arrive, both shocked by what they find out. Cal calls his thing with Lola love, Ramses asks him to leave the house and sign the divorce papers. Gael asks him to leave the company, too, Josefa reminds him Lola is a minor, so he is doing something illegal. Calixto calls Camila a frigid, both Josefa and Ramses slap him and Gael pushes him out.
Calixto actually threatens them before leaving, forgetting to take Lola, his great love, with him. LOL

AnaJu can’t believe Ramses is a killer, why would he do that? She plans to call him herself, but Leona warns her that he can never find out she is alive. AnaJu gets an anonymous text just then, telling her that her real father is Gael! AnaJu can’t believe her uncle would keep such a lie for so long. Leona confirms it, so AnaJu storms out, calling them all liars.
Benja and Leona follow her, Benja begs AnaJU to listen to the rest of the truth. But this is all too much for AnaJu, finding out her beloved uncle and grandfather have lied to her all her life. Leona begs her not to tell Ramses, not until she will find out everything about the past. She will tell her all when AnaJu will be ready.
But it’s too soon for AnaJu to listen, all the people in her life have lied to her, she needs to be alone now. And she leaves.

Alone with Benja, Leona’s shocked he can be so calm. They both remember how they felt when their first hugged and she mentions how happy she felt when she realized he was alive. Then she mentions David’s lie and her search for him, why she couldn’t forget David when she knew the truth. But that first hug in the vecindad brought her back to life.
Benja understands her feelings, but needs time to get used to all of this. Leona asks him to take all the time he needs, she’s waited so long, she can wait a bit more. He’d like to give up his job, he knows both she and David have been victims of dangerous people, he’d like to stay far away from Gael. He never defended her or him, he left him for dead when he was a baby, he doesn’t want him in his life. Leona doesn’t say anything.

 

Amor Invencible Capitulo 61

Part 2 of 3

Josefa and Gael are worried about how the talk might have gone. Gael especially is afraid of the twins’ reactions, but notices that Josefa has something more on her mind. She tells him about the text she got. Gael promises to be by her side while she figures out the truth, she’d rather he focus on AnaJu, she will turn to Apolo for help.

Flor tells Jacinta and David about Clara’s reaction to Silvano. They are all very worried about the old fool, but happy that Flor accepted to see Silvano. Jacinta is also afraid to mention Matias to Clara, but both David and Flor are supporting her. Flor would rather be alone, she even says she doesn’t feel anything for Silvano, just a bit of pity maybe.
Clara arrives while they are talking about Matias.
David tells Clara they are all adults, they can make their own decisions. But Clara is shocked by THEIR decisions: David’s obsession with Leona, Flor wanting to forgive a degenerate and Jacinta dating a younger man. They are all wrong and they will suffer.
David suggests maybe their happiness is in their decisions, times have changed. Clara keeps going about past traditions and values, while Jacinta and Flor talk about improving their lives and being better.
But Clara knows better, don’t come to her when they get hurt!

Kika tells Columba she needs an advice from her: she was at Romeo’s house, they had been drinking and he raped her. But Col thinks it’s not that bad, since she says she was drunk. She always liked Romeo and if she provoked him, it’s normal he’d act like this. Kika insists this time she didn’t want to, he abused her.
No, Columba insists, you were both drunk and you are so pretty, you should use this to your advantage. Romeo is good looking and rich, you should smile, you looks prettier like this.
And after this great motherly advice she leaves.

Romeo is at home, posting something online. Theo gets the video, tells Consuelo she can’t look at it ( why mention it to her at all!!!)

Benja and Leona arrive at the vecindad, she asks him not to fill his heart with hate. She’d rather see him build a connection with his sister. She asks for a hug before he has to leave and he accepts. Jacinta sees them and Leona tells her that their son now knows all the story. Benja never imagined he’d have two moms.
When he leaves, Jacinta asks about how it went, Leona gets very emotional, it was a hard moment, but it had to be done. Jacinta tries to encourage her and gives Leona Benja’s first shoes. Leona only takes one, they both deserve a place in his heart and Benja will need them both. Lovely scene!


Calixto is still at the house, looking at a picture of the Torrenegro family, remembering Ramses’ torture of him and their many transactions. He also recalls Ramses showing him the medicine he takes for his heart condition and grabs it from his desk, switching it with another bottle. He looks so smug and proud of himself, I’m almost giddy thinking about the special treatment Ramses has surely prepared for him. It can’t come soon enough.
He then takes the picture of the wall and menaces Ramses, promising to destroy him. He places the frame on the floor and crushes it with his foot (so brave, going against a … photo).

Columba and Ramses meet for another lusty rendez vous. She found out about Calixto, would he be able to do the same think to her?
Ramses assures her she is his favorite, he could never do anything to her. But he has to eliminate some people. She asks if he’s not afraid of what Cal might do now, since he knows many of his secrets, but Ramses doesn’t look worried
Josefa and Apolo are outside, Josefa received a message with the address. She is actually afraid to confirm that Columba is Ramses’ lover, she is his ex-daughter-in-law, it would be such an aberration. Could Calixto be the one sending the texts?
They still don’t have the number of the apartment, though, they are waiting to receive it.
Matias calls to encourage Josefa, she has a lot of strengths, even if Ramses has made her forget about it.

Calixto comes to say goodbye to Camila, how about a last kiss? She is shocked he’d get into bed with a girl, but he says Lola is a real woman, warm and tender. Camila says he was not man enough for her, actually, he was always only her father’s yes man. In a fit of rage he finally admits he was the one who caused her accident and threatens to do harm to AnaJu and Josefa if she doesn’t control Ramses.

Leona and David are on the vecindad roof. She feels lost after the talk she had with the twins. He reaches for her hand.

Gael is by the pool remembering how he once told AnaJu that her father was a coward.
And there she is, arriving and calling him a cruel coward. She knows he is her father.
How could he keep lying when she asked him to say the truth? She can’t stand it when he calls her “hija”, she will never be that to him.
Gael says he wanted to tell her so many times, he was the one to carry her first. She was born from the purest of loves, she is his first daughter. AnaJu asks why he couldn’t be her father, why give her to Calixto, who never loved her. Gael admits he was a coward, he never had the courage to go against his father. AnaJu asks if Leona’s words about Ramses are true and Gael confirms it.
Gael knows that he made big mistakes, but he always loved her. He will do whatever it takes to earn her forgiveness. He kneels in front of her, just as Oliver and Kika arrive to ask what is going on. AnaJu asks him to stand, she will never forgive any of them. And she calls him Gael, flickers of resentment in her eyes.

Yes, this is where Horacio screwed up. I am sure, however, that he will be alive and well at the end, though. Hector doesn't deserve to lose any of his children. Maybe there is a nice unmarried teacher Meche can introduce him to in the finale.

Cher Adriana, merci for a fsntastique recap as our story spins and twists and these flawed characters struggle with the various traumas that Ramses set in motion . Ram , Cal, and Col keep creating more misery. So much happened in this episode . It is hard to take it all in . I always enjoy your snappy insights.

I couldn't believe that Cal declared his love for teenybopper Lola and challenged Ramses. Does he have a death wish ? Then, the whole family is assembled and gives Cal two slaps and a push . ( Besides the signature kissing, I have noticed in watching an older telenovela with Daniel as the galan that another signature move of his is very realistic pushing when angered. I wonder if he actually angers the actor being forcefully pushed when he does it . )

Pandora's box has now been opened . It seems Leona telling Anaju that Ramses is evil is going to be very dangerous . This teen is angry , and teens are impetuous and often don't handle anger well. Will she confront Ram NIW ? We have seen how passionate And proactive Anaju was about the kidnapped girls.

Mother of the year Colomba gives some advice to her daughter about rape. Awful . I can't even write about it . ..." You're pretty...you were drunk...he's rich" Disgustingly unbelievable. Too bad we have no backstory on what made Colomba the amoral wretch that she is. ...and Gael was with her for fifteen years .

We get to see Ram and Col smarming all over each other, but we still haven't seen Gael and Leona together at night since the rooftop meeting . How many days have passed since their meeting ? What has been happening with them ? Has Leona moved into another room?

Yes, I kept telling Theo....please don't even tell your mother about that photo you just received . Just hit deleted !!!!

Adriana, your carefully crafted summary shone light on all the darkness that transpired last night. Written with insight, humor and heart, I relived every momentous event again this morning. You conveyed the angst and agony perfectly.

AnaJu has been betrayed by those in whom she has trusted. By those she has truly loved – Gael and Ramses. Even her beloved mother hid the truth from her. It is understandable she is angry and unforgiving. But at the core, that is not who she is. Somehow her loving nature will help her overcome but I can’t envision how that will happen.

That said, I was a bit surprised and saddened that Benja rejected Gael. “He never defended her or him, he left him for dead when he was a baby, he doesn’t want him in his life”. There were many losers last night, but Gael was the biggest.

Whatever got into obsequious, bootstrap licking Calixto? Standing up to Ramses who has clearly abused and terrified him, declaring love for his teenage amante? Did that branding iron not make an indelible impression? Does he really think he can vanquish Ramses?

“Jacinta tries to encourage her and gives Leona Benja’s first shoes. Leona only takes one, they both deserve a place in his heart and Benja will need them both. Lovely scene!” Yes, my eyes misted it a bit…

Clara is so condescending and righteous. I have a hard time believing her intelligent children continue to tolerate her tightly held delusional beliefs and prejudices. I believe in respecting your elders but her words and her behavior warrant only dismissal.

Columba’s cold, heartless reaction to Kika’s revelation was sadly, no surprise.

As revelations are now erupting left and right, I have to surmise that it is due to the fact this was originally written as 70 episodes. The fact that Ramses is STILL in the dark as to Leona’s true identity is surprising but I’m in no hurry for it to happen.

I also wanted to mention something that irked me no end. "Leona and David are on the vecindad roof. She feels lost after the talk she had with the twins. He reaches for her hand". The door is ready to slam, keeping David at bay and yet Leona keeps it ajar!

I thought Romeo was going to do something truly heinous that I won't state here. The picture taking was revolting but I thought it would be much worse.

I thought Jacinta presenting Leona with Benja's baby shoes was so lovely and unexpected , another small precious, heartfelt moment from these writers, like the water globe return and the painting of the red boat on the beach. I somehow didnt notice that Leona only took one ! That was so generous and kind to show her appreciation for Jacinta's loving gesture and hopefully a foreshadowing of how the relationship between these three good souls will develop. My mother in law had hub's baby shoes bronzed and put into a frame for her favorite baby picture of him . She was such a proud, loving ,gentle mother . She Adored him and always looked at him with love and pride, the way Leona looks at her twins.

OT..Jacinta , in our area, we got the smoke drift a couple weeks ago for about a weekn with warnings about poor aur quality . It eventually drifted away, but I first noticed when I went last an open window in my house and thought a neighbor was burning something.

Elena was incredulous as Armando told her how and why Angela killed Fuentes and that Gerardo volunteered to dispose of the body [We know he was coerced]. “They were accomplices. Gerardo buried him.” “And that happened when we were still together?” Armando nodded. “Yes.” “He never told me.” “Because he is a coward.” “And you? Why did you never tell me anything?” “Because you were very excited about your marriage. I didn't want to ruin that. Daughter, Gerardo is not the upright man you think he is. That's why he messed with that prude who doesn't even reach your heels, my love.” “Well, whatever it takes I will not permit him to leave with her. I will not raise his child alone.” [You won't anyway, bitch.] “No, no. With what I just told you you have sufficient weapons to detain him and make him see reason. I don't think he wants to spend the rest of his life in prison.”

Lamberto sat in his car outside the brothel. “My daughter in a brothel? Why, Aurora? Why?”

“Thanks for telling me what Gerardo did.” “Don't waste the information. Use it in your favor.” “I will. I don't know what I would do without you, dad.” “You's going to be a mother. Congratulations. I will be a grandfather for the first time.” [Are you as delusional as your daughter?] “And my child will have the best grandfather in the world.” “I know how you wanted to have a child. Take care of yourself so everything goes well.” “Yes, Daddy.” She got up. “Thanks, thanks so much, Dad.” The hugged. “You don't know how much peace I have knowing I can talk to you.” She kissed him. “It will always be that way.” Elena walked out. [Does Armando really like the idea of Elena raising a child?]

Renzo was lying in wait in the outer office. He stepped in front of her to block her path, “Don't start, please.” “I gave you your space, Señorita but it was too much. When are you coming to my place again?” “Never again, as I told you.” “Bit's that I can't –” He paused as a female worker walked through. “I can't stay away from you. I even bought him your whiskey so when you come over you doesn't have to drink rum.” “Well. You'll have to drink it because I'm getting back together with Gerardo. It's better you don't come near me because I don't want any problems.” She looked up and saw Angela behind Renzo. “Hi. Angela.” “Hi.” Elena left. Renzo turned around. “Renzo, what were you talking about with Elena?” “Nothing, I only greeted her.” “To me it looked like something secretive.” “Secretive? No, no, not at all. Excuse me.” He left in as much of a hurry as he could. Angela looked at his departure. [Please rat this creep out.]

Elsa told Horacio about the Amber Alert and his reaction was he looked hopeful. She said they were waiting for the detective to confirm that it was Eva. This meant they needed to postpone the trip, Elsa apologized for that. Horacio said this was alright and he would take care of the cancellations and re-booking. She also said Eva would go with them. She was excited at the prospect.

Armando got Rene Dumont's last workplace on the phone and was told he had retired and left no contact information. He also found no contact information on search.

Horacio called Carlos to meet him for a few cervezas. They agreed on 8PM.

Estela had product ideas for hotels and Hector liked them. He advised about the calculations involved.

Carlos called him for help with Leonor later. Estela said she would come over to help,

Aurora looked at the orange dress and cried. Fabián came in to bully her again, demanding that she be ready in 5 minutes. He hadn't spent all the effort on her to get a cleaning woman. His patience was gone.

Little Leonor looked at her abuelo and his novia with approval as her dad went out with his bro.

Lamberto entered the brothel and gave a false name to Vanessa, who was minding the desk. She saw a ripe new client and told him thee was an admission fee. He said that was no problem. She handed him the catalog and offered the alternative of seeing all the girls in the bar. He chose that option and she asked for the cover fee.

Horacio and Carlos met and both were happy that their dad was with Estela. They talked about their own relationship issues. Horacio was getting more insecure since it seemed that Elsa and Andres were getting closer since the discovery that Eva was alive. Carlos told him that made sense. Horacio was upset at the amount of time and communication Elsa was spending with Andres. Carlos gave him the This Too Shall Pass, saying that once Eva is found things will go back to normal. [I don't think he's watched many novelas]. He pointed out how Elsa took care of him after the accident, However Horacio was sure that Elsa would not love him as she had loved Andres.

Vanessa led Lamberto to the bar and got him a beer.

Hector explained the Aurora situation including Horacio's involvement in it. He was frank about his feelings in that situation. He had been guarding that secret all along. Estela understood, knowing that Hector wanted to protect his sons' happiness. She then said it was time for Leonor's bath.

Elsa and Meche met for coffee and mostly talked about Bruno. Meche was on Cloud 9, saying that this was worth waiting for. Also about that they voh-di-oh-do-doh'd. It sounded like her first experience was at least as good as Elsa's [maybe better because it sounded like they had contraception],

Aurora got dressed. Fabián reminded her of her new name; she was never to reveal the real one. A few drinks, but not enough to get drunk. Fabián shoved her into the bar. She and her father recognized each other. Vanessa noticed he was looking at “Esmeralda” ad she brought Aurora over to him. When she stepped away Aurora whispered to him to play along because they were being watched. [Are there also cameras in the private rooms?] A waiter asked if she wanted a drink and she asked for white wine. He said they needed to talk privately.

Horacio and Carlos continued to talk. Horacio said that he and Elsa had to postpone the vacation because of the Amber Alert. They did hear that Eva was seen in Tijuana. Horacio felt as though this was the most important thing in Elsa's life and he was not a part of it. It was like living with Andres. He was having trouble coping with jealousy. Carlos advised him to be patient. Things were going to be more complicated.

Elena boasted to Lily that she was going to make Gerardo stay with her. Lily said she would redo the closet to make room for Gerardo's clothes. [Why doesn't Lily see her crazy?] Elena smirked when Lily left her room.

Lamberto requested a private room and was told that fees were by the hour. He requested the whole night. She took them to a room and he ordered a bottle of wine. When Vanessa left Lamberto began searching the room in case there were cameras. They said nothing until he determined that there were no cameras in the room. He then put his jacket on her and they sat down. He explained how he found her. She told him she had been deceived, and the sequence of events. She cried and told him she was afraid. He wanted to confront Fabián, but she told him that would be dangerous. She didn't want to be responsible for anything happening to him. They had to come up with a plan.

Silvia told her children that Lamberto was in Mexico City but did not want to go into details. The conversation shifted to the upcoming wedding. Andres and Antonia decided to take over the plamning so Silvia would not be cooking on her wedding day.

Carlos was sure Aurora had deserted him. He felt like a fool and like nothing he did ever pleased Aurora. He talked about the period when she didn't let him see Leonor [He was up to shots by this time]. He had supported her ambitions and she paid with betrayal. He started talking about the house, which was finally finished but he did not feel like moving into it because everything in it reminded him of her. Horacio suggested selling it. Carlos nodded and smiled as he poured another shot.

Aurora said that a raid would involve arresting the girls who are all victims like herself. Lamberto wanted to get Aurora out of the brothel before going to the police. She suggested getting Gilberto to help. She was willing to trust him and told Lamberto where to find him. Lamberto was willing to come to the brothel every night if necessary to protect her from having to prostitute herself. “I won't allow anyone to touch you.” She was crying with gratitude. He hugged her and told her he loved her.

The next morning room service – per Horacio's request – brought Elsa's favorite breakfast. Asd the started eating he asked how things went with Meche and Elsa talked about how she had missed her and others. Since the search for Eva began she had only been talking to him and Andres.

Andres and a Don Eusebio signed a contract over Andres' investment and Andres handed over the checque.

Lamberto called Natalia and told her what he found out. She told him she would contact Commander Galvez whose contact info she gave him. She warned him that white slavers are a dangerous criminal class.

Fabián was pleased with what he was told and told Aurora it will get easier over time. She said she needed to get outside because being locked up will drive her mad. He said that here they work at night and sleep during the day [like the other kind of vampires]. One more try and she got him to agree. He warned her not to look tired at night.

PI Carillo went to the clinic in Tijuana to talk to Nurse Marina. He showed his credentials and the photo of Eva. She explained what happened, that Eva had bronchitis. He asked if the child was scared and Marina said No and that they were all surprised when they saw the Amber Alert. He asked other questions such as whether the mother came in alone or with a man and contact information on the doctor.

Angela told Armando that Elodio was in Estela's office. This was about the new products. Armando objected but Estela stood her ground. He left her office.

Lamberto went to see Gilberto to get him to help spring Aurora. He apparently had been told that it was a student dorm and had no idea it was a brothel. He needed his help to get Aurora out of there before the police raid. When he described her they bonded over sports because they liked the same team. They started planning.

Elena barged into Gerardo's office threatening to turn him in as Fuentes' killer if he did not go back to her.

I was rather disappointed that Leonadidn't say anything when Benja started going on about how awful Gael was. It wouldn't have caught my attention if she herself hadn't said Gael was his father's victim. I thinkshe only said it because that's what you are supposed to say. Then there are those scenes with her and Consuelo where she just talks about her concerns when Consuelo is also going througha hard time. How do these authors manage to create such unlikable female protagonists? It's a bit funny, given that their intention is most probably the opposite of what they achieve. I get sick of everyone talking about how great she is when I can't honestly say I got this impression. It's almost as if she likes beinga victim because Leona has no sympathy for anyone that isn't her. What would happen if Ana Ju told Ramses the truth out of impulse? And why the hell does Calixto think Camila can 'control her father'? Hasn't he been married to her? Or has he manage to learn absolutely nothing about his wife and her relationship with her father? I can't believe the stupidity of these characters sometimes.
Josefa is a bit too naive for her age if she stillthinks other people have the same moral limits as she does.She knows her husband sells women and thinks it's somehow unfathomable he and his accomplice would sleep together. I can somewhat understand how scary it is to learn the truth, but I think I'd actually want to know it out of spite.

Spectacular as always Urban!

Little Leonor and her beautiful red, sparky hair bow was the fashion hit of the evening. So adorable!

I thought Aurora and Lamberto would reconcile but I couldn’t imagine how. He was incredible last night, purposeful, thoughtful and a true hero! Suspecting Aurora does escape, Aurora had a hard lesson but she has much to atone for and hopefully she will try to repair some of the damage she has done. That said, her lies set a series of tragedies into motion, none of whom paid more dearly than Andres. The only reason I have felt a bit for her is having Angela as a mother.

Gerardo seems to be completely disgusted and fed up with Elena. I doubt her blackmail is going to bend him to her will at this point. I hope I’m right. She is exhausting to watch.

Although Horacio has tried doing everything to cement her to him (suggesting having a baby, a trip…), I’m wondering if he will end up doing the right thing and setting her free.

I hope Carlos ends up with someone who loves and deserves him.

Bringing a child that young on a foreign vacation is all about the parents, not the child. In this case we're talking about a delayed honeymoon.

Aurora got what she deserved. She had consistently behaved as the worst kind of snob: One who thinks they have class when they don't. Just like her mother.

I so hope Angela rats out Renzo because I want Armando to find out that Elena isn't what he thinks she is.

I admit that I had to laugh when Fabián told Aurora that she wasn‘t going to do anything she hadn’t done before thinking back on her affair with Horacio while being married to Carlos.

Diana, thanks for your good thoughts. This extreme amount of smoke is new around here. Anyway, I agree that Carlos does deserve a good ending. I wonder when or if the other shoe is going to drop and Carlos and Elsa are going to find out about Aurora and Horacio’s affair.

I'm finding Leona more and more disagreable, too. And I really dislike the lack of "action" in the romance department. Sure, alot is happening, but would it be so hard to have Leona and Gael share a scene every now and then? Get them together for a couple of episodes, throw us a bone, even if they are not meant to be?

I'm starting to doubt we will ever see a "wedding night" with these two, which would be a huge letdown.
Can Gael get lucky already or do we have to watch his father and Columba bringing nausea back for the millionth time?

Diana, I wonder if we will see Leona comforting Gael and speaking up for him to Anaju and Benja. We haven't seen them together since the rooftop revelations and their honest confessions to each other . Leona seemed to be channeling teenage Mar when he kissed her . She didnt push repentent Gael away. She embraced him. Gael looked hopeful as he stood there watching Leona leave the rooftop. I am very curious to see what happens when we finally see them alone together .

Can't wait to see how this story unfolds tonight . I hope that Leona can forgive Gael and fall in love with him again. However, David is still hovering .

Adriana, I am right there with you . I really have had enough of those smarmy scenes between icky Ram and Col and Cal and his Lolita . NO....enough .
We got a night with David finally getting lucky with Leona , but no noche de boda for lovestarved Gael and battle ready, preoccupied Leona. I think the writers are deliberately toying with us . Daniel is very good in love scenes . I thought they wanted to give us what we want .I don't want this . Poor Gael ...A monster for a father , rejected by both his kids, and married with no benefits . I hope he doesn't start bringing home cases of beer to drown his sorrows.

It's interesting that her father is rescuing Aurora from the brothel by posing as a client . Usually we would see the husband \_novio doing this. However, I guess this is the way the writers decided to end their estrangement .

Elena is a study in crazy desperation. I think that at one point Armando threatened to expose Gerardo for burying Fuentes if he divorced Elena , and Gerardo told him that he would rather go to jail than stay with Elena . Gee ,would you want your daughter to be with a husband who told you that ? I am always amazed when people want someone who doesn't want them .

Yuck, Elsa is working overtime to make Horacio feel secure. Taking Eva on a trip with the stepdad so soon would be unfair to Andres. Andres needs to bond with his daughter as much as Elsa does.

Great to see Lamberto and Aurora reunited and working together. Has she gotten over Horacio? Maybe she and Carlos could make it after all.

For all his intelligence and ability to play the long game Armando has a serious blind spot about Elena. However, she has rarely -- if ever -- shown her worst side to him.

Probably since he rescued her from that paedophile when she was 8 she has been playing the Poor Little Me card whenever she could with him. Look at her hair and at least half her clothes. She wears hells but her blouses are outdated looks for young modern women.

I don't think he ever saw her bully any of her younger sibs -- especially Elsa, who is very self-sufficient -- but she obviously resents all of them. When she looked after them during Estela's absence she took her resentment out on them. She's like something out of a Reddit story.

BTW, this will be pre-empted tomorrow and Friday. The finale will be next Thursday.

Lola was crazy to show up at the glass house. But Calixto was crazier. To stand there declaring he loves a 15 year old! And a pouty money hungry one. I don’t think they’re had sex, not sure though. Anyway he went against the whole family, I don’t expect him to survive.

I guess Columba is sending the texts to AnaJu and Josefa. Guess she wants to destroy the family but hold onto Ramses. And yes, the worse advice ever upon hearing your daughter was raped.

AnaJu has been so kind and good hearted. I really didn’t expect her to react so strongly. I hope she truly wants to be alone and doesn’t confide in Ramses.

I have no words for Clara, except how did her kids turn out so normal!

I really liked Lamberto’s interaction with Aurora. Hopefully tonight she will be free and be a changed girl. I guess she will go back to Carlos, but sometimes I wonder if this would be the answer for Horacio.

I couldn’t believe Armando told crazy Elena about Fuentes’ murder. If it gets back to Angela, and if I were Gerardo it would, Angela has proof of Armando’s murder of Irene. And probably Guillermina.

Eva on the honeymoon. Sure Horacio would love that. Might as well bring Andres too. He’ll want to spend time with his daughter, and can babysit!

AMOR INVENCIBLE #62 Part 1

Spilled Secrets, Love, Betrayal, Denials and Deflections

The past speaks to us in a thousand voices, warning and comforting, animated and stirring to action – Felix Adler

An alarmed Consuelo asks Teo and Itzel to tell her what is wrong. What is going on? After a nod from Itzel, Teo shows her the uploaded pictures. She stares, mouth agape as they assure her they will find out who is responsible. Cristobal upbraids the hospital staff, insisting they check the cameras to see who invaded Consuelo’s room.

David and Leona are sitting together as he smiles saying he is glad Leona still confides in him, telling him her troubles. Leona says he has always made her feel safe. She hasn’t forgotten what David said a few days ago and that he deserves to go on with his life and find happiness. David asks if she will stay married to Gael and she answers that she will. David says he has an opportunity to find love with Camila, a good woman, and he is going to pursue that chance. (Perhaps it’s just me but his smile seems just a bit mocking as though he knows this will hurt Leona). Leona sort of gulps and stares silently.

There is a split screen of AnaJu and Benja as they think back to Leona’s “mi nina, mi nino”, admitting she is their mother and loves them with all her heart. Back to the present, both stare like deer in the headlights. Camila and Jacinta come into their respective rooms and Benja, for his part, accepts a hug from Jacinta. AnaJu tells Camila she knows Leona is her mother. Her spine stiffed by crushing hurt, she asks Camila how she allowed Gael and Ramses to play with her life ever since she was born.

Gael talks with Kika and Oliver. He admits he made mistakes. He has tried to be close with them and change, but there are hurts that need to heal. Some of his mistakes are unforgiveable. Kika tells Oliver AnaJu is their half-sister. Now she understands why AnaJu was his favorite. Guilt!

AjanJu cries her heart out to Camila saying how difficult this all is for her. Camila reaches out to her but AnaJu avoids her, distraught that Ramses is an assassin.

Benja lies on his bed, head on Jacinta’s shoulder. They have a sweet conversation about Leona and Benja is happy that AnaJu is his sister.

Back in the hospital, Teo admits he knows who is responsible. It is Romeo he admits, who threatened revenge! Consuelo and Cristobal look at each other, completely horrified.

AMOR INVENCIBLE #62 Part 2

Kika questions Gael as to why he continually scolded and punished her for lying when he was lying the entire time himself! Oliver cries that everyone there is a liar and as he leaves, Gael tries to call him back but to no avail. Kika demands Gael to listen to her. He sent her to rehab when it was he who should have gone. She will never obey him again; no one has hurt her as much as he has!

Matias and Danilo come in but seeing Gael extremely upset, Matias asks Danilo to leave them alone. Matias goes immediately to a crying Gael’s side and envelops him in a comforting hug.

Oh Gawd, Ramses and Columba are horizontal on the bed. Again! She goes into the bathroom and texts Josefa a message as to where Ramses is so she can find out who he is cheating on her with.

Gael and Matias have a drink as he apologizes for pouring his heart out to Matias. Matias tells him has nothing to be sorry for. Gael then apologizes for all the harm he has caused Matias. Matias knows that Gael had no ill-intent, he was just jealous of the relationship Matias had with Apolo. After they laugh, Gael worried that AnaJu hates him. Matias tells him life has its ups and downs but that is what family is for…to be there for each other. Hermanos Gael asks? Hermanos Matias answers and the brothers hug.

Jeremias opens the hotel room door to reveal Calixto and Lola runs into his arms. She can’t believe what he has done; he gave up everything for her! Calixto admits that going against Ramses is the worst thing that could have happened to him. He smarmily smiles and says that is why she should show him how much she loves him and agree to help him. He wants to compete against Ramses in his “business”. If she helps him, she will not only have all his love (as I throw up in my mouth) but she will have mucho dinero. When she asks what kind of business, he tells her Ramses trafficks women!

Kika makes an overture to AnaJu saying rather than avoiding each other they should join together and be a united front against everyone. Kika asks her to go out with her and AnaJu agrees.

AMOR INVENCIBLE #62 Part 3

Leona returns to the glass house as Camila gets up off the couch to “greet” her. It’s complicated Leona begins but doesn’t get far. Camila demands Leona leave; go away and never return! Leona refuses. She will not give up her life again and Ramses still must pay for what he did. Camila angrily tells her she has destroyed their family! Leona hurts everyone and is like their damnation; she then urges Gael to open his eyes. Gael rushes to defend Leona but she turns and tells him she can defend herself noting he needs to fight for his own redemption. Gael promises he will always be by her side. When he recovers the accounts Ramses put in his (Gael’s) name, he will put them in Leona’s name and she will own everything they have.

Lola processes what she has been told. She slowly says she now understands why she was drugged and almost taken. It’s horrible she says, tears in her eyes. Calixto won’t lie; he has dedicated himself to that business and now, wants to start his own. He has no intention of selling Lola but she can help in other ways. A series of conflicting emotions flit across Lola’s face…As she hesitates, (disgusting, despicable) Jeremias encourages her. Calixto tells her he loves her and she will always be his queen. Lola finally shakes her head and much to our shock and chagrin, agrees.

Leona doesn’t want or care about the money. It’s dirty and should be turned over to the police. Gael feels it would be a type of protection for Leona. Ramses wouldn’t hurt Leona if she has the money; it would be like shooting himself in the foot (although the head would be much better viewerville asserts). Then we hear “buenos noches” and David magically appears at yet another critical juncture.

Matias tells Oliver his father has fought the dark side but is a good man. Oliver agrees his father is very serious. Matias wants Oliver to shake on it, which he does with a smile.

As they continue to bicker, Leona tells Camila they shouldn’t be fighting. They should focus on AnaJu who should be the one who decides if Leona will be in her life or not. And that moment, Kika and AnaJu materialize. AnaJu announces they are going out. Alone! And with that, AnaJu and Kika join hands and walk off.

Josefa, you are not alone Apolo pledges. Behind closed doors, Columba emerges in a sheer black negligee. When the doorbell rings, Ramses seems startled but Columba says it is room service with the champagne she ordered. She opens the door, and lo and behold it is Josefa and Apolo. Columba feigns shock as they push past her. Josefa tells Columba she is shameless and the worst woman she has ever met! When Ramses comes out, Josefa sharply and soundly slaps him in the face. She rages, wondering how she could have married him, the most repugnant man that ever existed! I can’t believe I have wasted my life with trash like you…

AMOR INVENCIBLE #62 Part 4

Against the background of a roaring fire, Gael tells Leona AnaJu hates him and will never forgive him. He thanks Leona for not hating him. Leona tells him that she has decided to leave all her hate behind…she only wants to seek justice.

David assures Camila it will take time but eventually AnaJu will come around. He tells her she will soon be divorced and be a free woman. She holds his hands and kisses him on the cheek. He has been thinking and he wants to try and see where things could go with her.

Ramses sticks his finger in Apolo’s face and has the unmitigated gall to tell Josefa this isn’t what she thinks! In disgust, Josefa tells him he is a cynic. How could he be with his son’s wife, his grandchildren’s mother? And you she mutters, turning her eyes and her venom on Columba, you are worthless! Ramses thinks Apolo is responsible for Josefa finding out but Apolo tells him he has other enemies who sent Josefa text messages. He tells Ramses Josefa shouldn’t spend one more day with him. Apolo is willing to offer Josefa a dignified life where she can live in peace. Then, right then and there, Josefa states she loves Apolo and will seek her true happiness. Columba spits out that Ramses gave her what Gael never could since he never loved her just like Josefa never loved Ramses. Josefa tells her that they will pay for their betrayal. She tells Ramses that it is a pity that he was never the man she and the family through he was. Apolo adds that they know he trafficks women and he will pay for that…Apolo will personally make sure of that! For once, Ramses looks speechless.

Leona wishes she could be hugging Benja and AnaJu but the worst thing they can do is pressure them. They wouldn’t be going through this if it weren’t for his father. Gael again berates himself; saying he will never forgive himself for not confronting his father years ago. Leona absently fingers her wedding rings, wondering if they should remain married. Gael takes her hand and says yes. Leona argues that she lied to him; she only married him because she thought he was part of Ramses’ business. Gael gently puts his hand on her chin. He loves her and understands why she did what she did. He asks if there is any of the love left that she felt for him…could they love each other again? Leona is silent and doesn’t answer.

David lifts Camila’s legs onto the bench. There is a close up of her mouth as she puts her hands over his. Camila is happy that David is willing to give their relationship a try. Next, there is a close up shot of David’s eyes as he tells Camila he needs to be completely honest. He is Adrian Hernandez and he has known and loved Marena since they were young.

Ramses tells Apolo he has no evidence to back up his accusations. Apolo assures Ramses all his lies will be revealed, one by one, just as his betrayal of Josefa was revealed. Josefa wants nothing to do with Ramses and will seek a divorce immediately. Josefa takes off her wedding rings and throws them on the floor. And with that, Josefa and Apolo sweep out of the room. After they leave, a livid Ramses smashes a vase on the floor. Ramses wonders how they found out and vows he will never give up his power.

Later, when he calmed down, Ramses and Columba lounge in bed, his arm around her. As she nuzzles his neck, Columba purrs that after everyone has left him, she will still be there with him and help him regain his power. Pillow talk then turns to who sent Josefa the messages. Columba asserts it is Calixto. Maldito traitor!

Camila and David have a drink. He tries to persuade Camila that she shouldn’t be against Leona who was alone without her children. His family had to leave Puerto Palma too. At the mention of his family, Camila also makes a revelation. She is divorcing Calixto because he has a lover…Lola! David’s eyes widen with fury.

Calixto strokes Lola’s cheek. Straight faced, Calixto tells Lola that she will be like the President’s First Lady, no one will touch her and he will protect her. (Can Camelot be far away??) Lola finally agrees that she will help Calixto, not for the money, but because she loves him.

Cristobal comes in and confirms it was Romeo who entered Consuelo’s room.

David rushes in, confronting Leona, asking her why she didn’t tell him about Calixto and Lola. Leona urges David not to confront Calixto, he could kill him. David should report him for abuse of a minor. She then says, almost too casually that she is sure it was Calixto who tried to rape her! Both Gael and David stare incredulously.

The doorbell rings and Ramses answers it, gun in hand. He berates his minion for not warning him Josefa was coming. But seeing Reynoso, Ramses quickly learns he has far bigger problems. As Columba listens behind the door, Reynoso tells him that Apolo spoke with his contacts at Interpol. Consequently, they are initiating an investigation against him. As of now, all law enforcement agencies consider Ramses an outlaw!

Camila tries to stand up, wanting to go with David. Gael goes to her side but says he will go with David so he can warn Calixto to stay away from them. Camila then announces that once she is a free woman, she will start a relationship with David. Josefa and Apolo enter, Josefa declaring she just found out that Ramses and Columba are amantes! Leona stares, mouth agape with incredulity.

Everyone seemed shocked at the Ramses/Columba affair, no one more so than Leona!

Thus far Leona and Gael's magical rooftop kiss has yet to be repeated. We've seen little if any affection or tenderness which is so disappointing. One shining kiss does not a lead couple romance make.

I couldn't believe Lola agreed to help Calixto!

As Leona seems to have done nothing to procure what she promised Ramses, perhaps it's best his attention is otherwise diverted.

Calixto’s and Jeremía’s corruption of Lola was beyond disgusting and very hard to watch. “Can Camelot be far away?” was perfect!

Apolo having Interpol connections was a surprise. He is still very much a man of mystery and has turned into an unexpected legal threat to Ramsés.

Kika and Ana Ju could get into some real trouble. It would be like the blind leading someone willfully wearing a blindfold. ; )

I am so glad that Josefa now knows that Columba has been keeping Ramsés busy. Josefa should consider herself lucky not having to deal with the old goat.

Bummer we have to wait until Monday for the next episode.

Jeremias was a rat from the beginning but I never thought he would sink to the level which he has. Asking your own child to deal in human trafficking??? There is nothing left of the human being he must have been once upon a time when Jacinta fell in love with him.

Apolo is a "man of mystery" and a very hawt one. I was never a huge Juan Soler fan but he is smoking here!

Dear Diana and Chickie, thank you so much For giving us every moment of a wild west episode. That was...a...lot.

My main feeling is that everyone has someone to comfort them except Gael, so I was glad to see Matias suddenly appear to give him a hug and his support and then talk to Oliver . However, Leona didn't seem interested in really having a marriage with Gael. She i too focused on revenge against Ram and having a relationship with her kids and protecting them . Is there a spark of love still in her that Gael can ignite ?

Ramses is suddenly losing control of his family and his minions. Colomba is a vicious viper....therefore, A perfect partner for terrible Ram.

I can't even write about that horrific scene of Cal and Jerk in that hotel room urging Teen Lolita to help Cal in his new " business" venture .

Anaju teaming up with kika is not good. Will Anaju decide to get her revenge on her lying family by taking on Kika's wild , wild juvenile delinquent ways ? I hope Kika tells her that Romeo takes her and warns her to stay away from him.

Back to my new telenovio Gael. When I saw him as evil Pedro in Herencia , I thought he might actually turn into the galan and get the girl, and I felt sorry for him because of his miserable childhood and abusive mother. However, i was mega wrong , and he ended as a crazy evil killer. He was a minor character in Desalmada. I didn't remember him from Dragon , but I watched some scenes online and ....he was great as Rulli's competition for the leading lady. He should have won her. Then I discovered that he played galans for Azteca when he was younger . He has a bright future since he also sings and can dance . Tgere is a cute video on youtubevif him singing whike Oliver plays the guitar. Triple threat. The other actors who play galans are going to have comoetition.

Leona seems to be drifting further and further away from Gael. She is (understandably) consumed with winning her children's trust, which will be difficult for AnaJu. Still, the fire they started to spark on the rooftop seems to have flamed out all together. Well, at least for her - not for Gael.

AnaJu knows full well who Kika is and I suspect she is going with her mostly for show.

Ramses' family is crumbling around him. He will be devastated when the only person he cares about, AnaJu confronts him. I cannot wait...

Jarifa, yeah, Juan looks good. A true silver fox.

UA: Bold Prediction: Elena will end up in a mental institution for the rest of her pathetic life. I do think she'll attempt to kill Antonia before the Gran Final though.

Liz: With 5 episodes, will any of the Villains go down with Karma Anvils ? I know Armando will likely be going down for certain for all of his crimes against humanity & Elena will have a similar downfall too.

How long will we wait until Ramses learns that Columba was the one that told Josefa? And I am worried about which of the good guys we may lose as he uses his anger against anyone in his orbit.

I could not believe Jeremias is ok with his daughter dealing with human trafficking. My guess is Jeremias will join the business too. That should be a quick failure. We have some really poor parents in this show.

I fear for AnaJu as I’m afraid Kiki is setting her up to be hurt. She has never liked her and has always been jealous. I fear she is going to deliver her to Romeo.

I loved the scene between the two brothers. If not for Ramses they could have been a loving family.

I hope Apolo and Josefa survive. I can’t see Ramses letting them live happily ever after

It was nice to see Matias and Gael bonding. At least someone was, right?

Now that Ramses is in huge trouble, he will be even more of a wildcard. Although he is angriest at Calixto (at the moment) he may channel his energies into evading incarceration. Calixto is a fool but it seems like he is going to put up a fight against Ramses. Of course Jeremias is his biggest impediment.

It would be terrible if Kika hurts AnaJu further than she already has but you may well be right.

I would be shocked if Ramses survives. Hopefully, he will be out of the way sooner rather than later so everyone can have their happy ending. Whatever they may be :)

Did Leona know about Calixto and Lola? I do agree with her confronting him is a bad idea, but it's easy for her to talk. The more I watch this and the more recaps I read, the more I dislike her. She has a certain coldness about her. And she seems to love mentioning the fact Gael 'needs to fight for his own redemption.' Why bring up the fact it's Ramses' fault she lost her kids in front of Gael?I'm sick of this because what does hse expect Gael to say? He can't turn back time and I do think he should stop apologising.
So Calixto had a plan in mind when hedeclared his 'undying love' for Lola. And Lola is supposed to be smart, given that she studied at the same school as the Torenegro girls. So with all that brain power she can't see that she'll be helping ruin the lives of so many women. Her lack of empathy is astonishing. I know many often say oh teens are selfish, but the problem I have with this is that some never really grow out of this lack of empathy. I can't understand what is going on in Lola's head. But maybe the issue is precisely that she doesn't bother thinking at all.
The fact Gael really has no one to comfort him struck me too and I don't like that. Matias supported him here, but it would be nice if he just had someone around. Leona has an entire team on her side, which keeps surprising me because she is so unlikable.
The writers really should make David and Camila a couple. It's like there's a person on that team who has really good ideas but someonekeeps ruining them.

Waterlily, I agree with you that Gael is trying so hard to apologize and redeem himself in Leona\Mar'eyes. She, however , seems stone cold , while he still looks stoned in love. He was a teen when this tragedy occurred , and I think we can all look back on mistakes and bad decisions we made as teens even if we had good fathers who weren't monsters trafficking women and beating us up. Gael still looks so in love with Leona even more so now that he knows she is his Mar , but now all 4 of his children have rejected him . We have seen how loving he was to ALL 4 of his children. He was kind and supportive of Benja even though he didn't know he was his son. ...maybe a call of the blood. Gael seems to have always been a father figure to Anaju even though he was supposedly her uncle. Kika was jealous because of their close relationship. Gael needs to get a break. If Leona can't love him , I want him to find someone who can.

Leona seems a shell of her former self and her hope, her rescue seems to wrest on what happens with her children. Perhaps the writers will surprise us and David and Camila will become a reality instead of a wish.

waterlily, I so agree with you about someone in the writers room having great ideas and getting them sabotaged. I honestly would like Camila and David to be a serious couple, but they have made it so so clear that David is only into Leona and he's doing this just to spite her and his own feelings. Sigh. Camila deserves better. She has been a bit insensitive lately but I still very much like her character.

Both Gael and Camila have gone through major changes and I really like their storylines. Leona has pretty much stayed the same and so has David.. both obsessed with something.

For me the galan is definitely Gael but I feel like he aint getting anywhere with Leona. The rooftop kiss was my favorite scene, what a lovely shot and great music. The music! Made it really seem like our main pareja had their moment. But ever since that scene nothing has happened so maybe it was just to please the Galeona fans.

I do hope Gael also stops begging Leona for forgiveness and her love. He is starting to be a bit desperate like David and I think neither of them need to be. Leona isnt one in a million and in the end I dont think she's the right fit for either of them right now. I'd hope that in the end time passes and then we get to see who choosees who. Cause Leona is still so into her revenge she cant see straight.

Amidst all hell breaking loose, Leona and Gael are starting to act like a couple. They both care about all the kids, and I think this will soften Leona toward Gael.

Seeing Calixto and Jeremias both talk Lola into supporting sex slavery for girls was chilling. How in the world did she get so amoral with a mom like Jacinta?

Niecie, A long time ago, A disciplinary principal told me that the friends teens have are stronger influences on them than the families they are from . I think Lola wanted to be accepted by the rich, mean girls like Kika . She must also have inherited whatever weird stuff is in Jerm that makes him the miserable , lazy guy he is....and then there is Clara and whatever is in her that is making her so hateful and intolerant . Whatever it is , Lolita is in way over her head ,and her father and disgusting Cal deserve huge anvils for pulling her into trafficking . ugh

Diana, I am telling myself that the reason Ram hasn't recognized that Leona is Mar is because she was so unimportant to him that he probably never really looked carefully at the young Mar . Add to that 15 years and blonde hair . Ram is too arrogant and self absorbed
to observe people.




The writers gave us that great scene on the rooftop Which left me hopeful and then there were barely any scenes of Gael and Mar together. I think they are going to toy with us until the end. And now we won't get an episode until Monday .

I am hoping for Gael and Leona and the twins together in the finale...and what the heck...a new baby on the way. Whatever the writers decide....that's my ending.
