Hmm....did we have any new action today? No, okay must be another day at the Vineyard.

I did learn that Luci apparently everyone who isn't me thought it was perfectly reasonable for Bobby to assume that auntie was sending him to boarding school just because she had the info in her room. Luci is still convinced it's true - which is true of course so I guess I shouldn't nitpick the logic...

Here's what I will pick apart: Miguel goes to Erika's vineyard to see if anyone there has seen Bobby??? Say what??? Has Bobby ever been there with or without a parent? That is the most random and silly excuse for Miguel and Erika facetime! These writers aren't even trying!!!

Susan doesn't love Tano and they cry and fight....yawn!

Speaking of Susan, why is she answering Mark's calls? Send him to voicemail. Speaking of, and this is sad and not funny but it always gets me when characters throw out 'I've got a restraining order' as if it's the end of the subject. I have never known someone who had a restraining order that didn't get violated by the person the order was out against. I feel like restraining orders are a joke, but I hope they are successful more often than I realize.

Gut is leading a raid where the immigrants are being held and 'This one's for you, Marta!'. I really hope he finds and rescues all those people but I doubt he'll get any of the bad guys - ie. Mark, Juan or coyote.

Heads up, I am going to have a very busy day tomorrow so I probably won't get a chance to watch and comment on tomorrow's episode until sometime Saturday.

Vino. I thought Bobby was very smart not to trust Graciela. Also, if there is a wide variety of summer sports camps here in Northern Illinois (some of which my children enjoyed very much), I have no doubt there must be at least 1 soccer camp near Sonoma, CA. Though as usual Graciela did manage to come up with a somewhat convincing reason for those brochures on her bed very quickly. She may be evil, but she's not stupid. I don't mind Miguel's going to the neighboring winery because when Luciana dumps him, Erika would be a very reasonable replacement. I can see Susan ending up with Cesar as well. Tano and Fer? Not so sure.

Vino. I was surprised to see El Coyote's murdered body. Even though we didn't see him getting killed, I didn't think this kind of novela would have that sort of violent end for someone. Of course it was well deserved. And evidently Mark was responsible for the killing. Now, did he kill Coyote personally or just have it done? Also, I thought it was very creepy that Mark made a pass at Perla. How long till he gets his? Too long, I suspect.

Vino

Yeah I am shocked that they actually killed off El Coyote!!! And off screen too...I guess that's how they limit the violence and have us not actually see it.

So tired of Miguel/David and Susan/Tano but I will say Tano looked CRAZY when he was throwing a fit outside the vineyard office talking to Miguel. I don't know if that's immaturity or if Susan knows how to pick abusers and Tano is a psycho in training, but that was a major red flag!!!

My favorite moment of the episode was after creepy Mark told Perla all she needed to worry about is keeping the house clean and her man happy (yuck) but as Juan said goodbye to her, he was laughing and told her to clean the house! It cracked me up!

Kimberly dos Ramos did an excellent job bringing the crazy in this episode. She really looked like she was losing it!!! Destroying the room and all those paintings! I love how in novelas they wait for the other person (David) to leave the room and half a second later the person is screaming and throwing a fit (Gracie) and the departing David doesn't hear a word of that?

I am all for Mark getting his, but yeah it's probably too soon.

Does Gut do any actual police work? Or just order underlings to do it for him? I am surprised he is still taking Lil's phone calls.

Vino. I too am surprised that Brian is taking Lilian's phone calls after she torpedoed his run for sheriff.

Vino. And I guess Graciela has to start all over again with her 10-painting quota. Ho hum.
