As much as I would CELEBRATE the eviction of Gracie and Lil, I don't believe it will actually happen...mostly because it's too soon! Or if they do leave I don't think it will last. The whole thing argument with David and the two women was so laughably ridiculous!!! Imagine being as entitled as these ladies! Demanding that David couldn't move on without the kid's permission...even by novela standards it's a goofy argument.

That said, I point this out in no way out of sympathy or defense of either witch, giving them until tomorrow morning to leave is freaking harsh!!! Especially for Lil who has lived there how many years now? That's the kind of eviction you give a guest who has a suitcase to pack before getting the heck out of your house. It's not the notice you give someone who's lived with you for months or years. He should have at least given them a week!

Just when you think Fernanda has grown up and gotten less annoying so goes right back to spoiled brat!!! I am trying to picture myself telling my father what I will or will not allow him to do in his own house??? I want to see her go to school and complain to her friends and have them say something like: 'You mean you actually expect your father to house his former mother and sister-in-law forever???' It's crazy!!!

Lilian trying to make David feel bad for how he is supposedly treating Gracie, his sister-in-law!!! LOL I guess this is really hitting me today. I don't know why I am reacting so much to this today as if it hasn't been so since week 1. Really it was almost like nothing new happened, I just got annoyed by it for some reason.

Mark is stupid. I'm guessing those men Carito advised to take off, took off?

Sonia and Leon's relationship is moving from the silly to the more real and serious. I'm glad I like them together.

Vino. Totally agree about Fer, Darcy! I would think that by now she would have noticed that Graciela is not reliable. In other news, Miguel and Erika are now officially a couple. I noticed Erika said that they should only think about the present, not the future. Could it be, as you suspected, Darcy, that she has a life-threatening illness? Juan continues to work his evil and seems to be grooming Gutierrez for something nefarious. We'll have to wait and see. And Mark is ever more dangerous. When will he get his?

Darcy: Graciela still winning non-stop. Psycho Juan & Creepy Mark are still wreaking havoc 24/7 along with Crazy Graciela, Buji Lillian & Co.,

It was a super busy day today so I only paid half-attention but considering how much of the hour Fernanda spent yelling, half-attention was more enough. Starting with the first interaction - Fer entering the dining room and saying that she's moving out with Auntie, David should have said bye! I am serious, I would let her go. Fernanda is an ungrateful entitled brat with an unrealistic life outlook. If she were younger, sure, you tell her she can't leave home; but she's 17, or is she 18 now? Tell her not to let the door hit her in the behind on her way out! I say this not just because she's annoying but also because she'll learn to appreciate daddy the hard way really fast, when she has to actually start depending on herself or Lil or Gracie!

I decided though this isn't really Fer's fault. As I'm sitting there once again today wondering if she really thinks it's okay for her to act like this, I realize it is! She is the way she is because the adults in her life allow her to be! Daddy withdrew emotionally, Lil wasn't there, Marta coddled and babied her and auntie just tells her what she wants to hear. The second big showdown should have been over the second Fernanda hit Luci. And I mean the very SECOND she hit her! No arguments, no pleading with her, no letting her go off on dad or Luci. The whole thing should have been shutdown! Not only did David not do that, I don't even remember him saying not to hit Luci! I would never in a million years allow my child to suckerpunch someone in the face and then go on a rant about MY behavior!!! It's crazy.... I can't say much else about it. But since David can't parent/stop her, he should just let her leave and let reality hit her in the face as hard as she hit Luci!!!

I know a whole lot more happened than Fernanda's melt down but I'm just exhausted and most of the other happens didn't really further the plot development. One thing is, the new immigrant coming forward indicated a 'guardian angel' and now Miggy wants to talk to Carito! Does Miggy actually suspect what's going on? Or is he just going to Carito on a fishing expedition? I'm guessing he has no clue and just thinks maybe Carito can help him figure it out! LOL
 

Vino. Fer should have had professional counseling as well as Bobby. And I suspect Graciela would hate living with her. All her screaming and shouting got very annoying. Miguel seems to be slowly closing in on Juan's smuggling operation. I suspect that Carito may be about to spill the beans. Wonder what will happen to her. I ope Sonia doesn't have to leave if Lilian does but Lilian seems to think of herself as her sole employer.

Ho hum ho hum....I suppose you could say something happened today with the whole attempted suicide and all, but since I'm positive that story line isn't going to end in death or even any severe consequences I'm still bored.

Hightlights of what a bad parent David is: He doesn't know his daughter's friends, their parents, their phone numbers AND he doesn't have access to her social media!???!!!! I mean he is the reason Fernanda is who she is; I mean Gracie and Lil don't help, but Geez!!!

Susanlynn said it best in her comment on the original recap. 'If my daughter came home drunk and yelled at me she'd still be in her room!!!' Exactly!!! Even when Marta heard that Fernanda slapped her daughter there wasn't so much as a comment about Fernanda receiving any consequence for her actions, Marta just said she'd 'talk' to her to calm her down?? Really??? Granted she's 18 so too old for pretty much any punishment other than being kicked out of the house but it she'd had consequences when she was younger she wouldn't be such an unholy terror.

I really hope something happens tomorrow to make me want to make a comment that isn't just a rant about Fernanda's behavior!

Vino. I'm not sure Fer was really attempting suicide, just trying to feel better. And wasn't she paying attention in health class when they told her that you should never mix medications with alcohol? I was surprised that Marta didn't know the names of her friends and how to get in touch with them. And it looks as if Carito is now in serious danger from Mark.
