Did we already know Erika had health issues? I feel like it might have been mentioned once or twice but all of the sudden it’s sounding very serious! I wonder if this was always the plot or if the writers just suddenly decided to switch things up? I assumed Erika was Miguel’s end game but maybe she’s not going to be around for happily ever after???

Gracie is returning which is bad for David and Luci but good for the drama!!!

More of Marta crossing the line telling David not to give Luci gifts or work late with her! In what world do you get to tell the boss how to set the work schedule?

Mark is just plain awful! Can’t we just write him out??? Kill him writers! Or drop a literal anvil on his head, or send him to jail for life, something! I wonder how a guy that vile managed to get married? He doesn’t seem to have the skill to hide the fact that he is a dirt bag!

 

Vino. All the high points, Darcy! I expect Erika will stick around and she is Miguel's end game. But I could be wrong. It turns out that both Miguel and Erika love to go for an early morning run, which is very sweet. Otherwise, it was just more of the same. It's probably too soon for the anvil to drop on Juan, but maybe the writers will get rid of Mark--he's both evil and dangerous. Graciela is working her evil and still using Fer, Marta is meddling, Gutierrez is acting like a jerk (though he seems to want to be friends with Marta), yada, yada. Let's see if something new happens today. Wonder how long it will take to work out the purchase of the neighboring property?

The original recap for Tuesday’s episode says, ‘Gut is a lying liar who lies!’ And I nod nod nod!! However I have no sympathy for Lil who is determined to have him despite knowing this and that he’s just not that into her!!

I wonder why Aldolfo wants Luci to work for him so badly. She worked for him once briefly, barely showed up and then ditched the job to run back to David… that doesn’t usually endear you to a potential employer!!!

I am not surprised Tano is admitting he actually likes Fer, the chemistry was actually there for these two all along. And while Fer is probably too young and immature for a relationship it beats watching Susan cry and Tano rage so I say go for it!

Well the cat is out of the bag! Good, now Marta can lecture some more and then hopefully get over it!!! We can hope right??? I am tired of the ‘Stay away from the boss you are of different classes!’ Fight. I want to hear what exactly happened between Marta and Lil’s husband and I want Luci and Leon to hear it too!
 

Vino. Great comments on an episode in which I had trouble seeing anything new. Luci has a university degree, which makes her at least middle class, at least judging by what a Colombian neighbor of mine who has a degree in accounting and works as an accountant here says. When we first met, she was careful to distinguish herself from Mexican and Central American immigrants, many of whom are not very well educated. Ditto for a Mexican neighbor who has a degree in engineering (I believe) and who lived in Canada for many years. Now, the social difference between them does seem to bother Tano a bit in his relationship with Fer. Maybe Adolfo wants Luci's expertise in enology? Yep, best for Luci and David to make their relationship public and let the chips fall! But how could Graciela mess that up?

I am commenting so late that the new page is already up but since I am commenting on Weds episode I am still putting this here. I am an early to rise person but I managed to sleep in today - I guess that’s what vacation is for - so I am late, lol.

Marta did her turnaround pretty quick which is laughable but I am happy because I don’t want to listen to her fuss about Luci and David anymore! Of course with so many episodes left Luci and David will likely break up at some point and then we will have to hear from Marta again!

So they are going to tie the wine spoiling with the illegals smuggling? I suppose that’s fair since Juan did both but it also sets up the possibility of Miguel or someone being set up with both crimes. It is surprising to me that Juan is so insistent about Mark staying away from Perla, I didn’t expect him to care, but I suppose it’s more about possession than protection!
