Vino. Yesterday's episode. If David would just tell Bobby that Luciana is the woman he loves, I'm sure Bobby would be thrilled. At least David doesn't let Fer dictate what he does. Besides, she'll probably be off to college next year. Does she want her father to be alone except for Bobby? The fistfight between Juan and Miguel is a bit stupid. But Miguel did show that he won't be manipulated by contacting the police detective himself. And now Juan and Mark are planning to kill Miguel? How will that work out? Wow! Gutierrez was elected sheriff. That was a bit of a surprise. I was also surprised that we didn't see a scene of all the police department employees gathered around the tv or video being excited about the vote (or not). A budget move?

Vino. I hope you managed to get home safely, Darcy!

SpanProf, still working on it! I should be home tonight by 9!

Vino. I reiterate what I said in my last post, Darcy! Trust you're resting up at home. Yesterday's episode spent a lot of back and forth time abut who would be able to buy the adjoining property. Juan outbid, which made Graciela so mad that she is now his very dangerous enemy. Of course he knows she is responsible for Lisa's death and is blackmailing her, which only makes her more dangerous. And since Juan's huge reserves of cash come from embezzlement and smuggling, if that is discovered, the landowner may have to return his payment--to the authorities. And now that he's sheriff is Gutierrez neglecting Lilian? Not a good idea.

I did make it home finally! Yesterday was filled with more challenges and I ended up having to get a key made to my car since I somehow managed to lose my keys in the airport, but I'm home and it's resolved. I haven't had so many issues flying in years.

I did catch most of today's episode, the great David and Juan showdown!!! And David doesn't even know about Juan's illegal activities yet!!! I guess Juan said what he's been dying to say but he is sure stupid for tying his future to Mark's!

I'm not a fan of this hiding from the kids, giving it time, building up relationship with Fer approach. It's ridiculous! Put the cards on the table and let everyone deal with the fall out!! But then it's way to early for the HEA so I suppose sneaking around will cause more drama and likely at least one more breakup for el fin.

I can't quite root for Miguel and Erika, I thought that's what I wanted to see happen but now as they are getting closer there's just something off... can't quite put my finger on it but it doesn't work.

Yay, what will the Sheriff do now? What is his game?

Vino. Glad things are finally looking up, Darcy! Leon actually seems to have learned something from those romance novels he reads. He gave Luci some good advice. Juan finally reveals his true colors--and he does an even better job of projecting crazy than Lilian does of projecting evil. I thought the fistfight was a bit fake-looking, though, choreographed and with the blows not always seeming to connect though they were supposed to. Gutierrez is apparently sincere about finding the illegal immigrants and their smugglers. I wonder if that will last and if he will be offered bribes. I was surprised that Susan didn't know Mark was out on bail--especially since there's a restraining order against him.
