Here are a few things that I remember. Maybe someone else can come up with what my memory can't.

Chelo has gotten the address for where to go for an abortion. If she does it, it would be the first time in all my years of TN watching that anyone's gone through with it.

Liana gets a gun and is ready to shoot Braulio in a parking garage, but it's too soon for a villain to go down. Tigre stops her and suggests they join forces to make him pay. Of course, if he mentioned he also planned to "get" Santi, she'd never have gone along.

Amalia regrets those passionate kisses with Diego and more or less says she's a married woman. Later she tells Braulio to move his stuff to a spare room, and she's done. But I think she's not going to get a divorce anytime soon because of her desire to keep Juanito.

Santi tries once more to speak with Nuria, who does the first thing that I really don't like. Santi has come and seen Nuria embracing Chalo, really just comforting him after his sister's funeral. But Santi appears and, like all galanes, is jealous and snarks that she sure found another man fast. But when he doesn't leave right away, she clasps Chalo's hand and more or less says they're a pair, totally pissing off Eugenia.

Martha and Mauricio (think that's his name), the baby daddy join forces to look for their daughter.

This was before, but Tigre told Braulio about his half sister just to get under his skin. And it worked perfectly, Braulio being nasty to his mother.

Turgut tells Ozcan, we’ve admitted our mistake and learned our lesson. Let’s question Omer Atamer. Ozcan looks depressed.

Yekta is frustrated. I testified in your favor, Ilgaz. I said you and Hilmi didn’t talk about money. Ceylin, I told you about the CNC machine. I brought you the receipt even though it was bought by my firm, knowing I would be blamed for it. Would I be stupid enough to do that? Didn’t I keep you from being questioned and detained when the Bar rep showed up? I defended you!

How do we know you don’t have ulterior motives, Eren asks. Please, Yekta replies, I may be your enemy, I may not like you, and you have your opinion, but I’m not stupid. I supported you, and you should support me. That crazy boy is lying. He has unfinished business with each of us! Ilgaz tells Yekta the conversation is over, and he can go.

Ozcan asks Omer, how do you fit into this? Tell me about the smuggling business. I’m scared, Omer replies, I was used. I was following orders and I fear for my life if I talk. Turgut asks, who is your boss? I’m willing to tell you, Omer answers, but you must guarantee my safety. Turgut says it’s our duty to protect citizens.

Omer says he trusts the AG. My father, Yekta Tilmen, did what he wanted. He planned this with Hilmi Yozba. They were going to smuggle the relics and destroy Ilgaz Kaya, a man he hates. Yes, I downloaded the app on Ilgaz’s phone on my father’s orders. He got the money from Hilmi and used me to get it to Ilgaz. I was with him when he copied the signature with the machine. [I thought the video showed Omer forging the sig.]

Ozcan asks about the document. Omer doesn’t know how Yekta got the document. But then he asked me to have the relic placed in Ilgaz’ home. I was just a messenger. I did this so my father would love me. I’m very sorry. When it comes to your father, you don’t ask questions. I thought you’d notice, but you didn’t… the complaint filed in Bakirkoy was signed by Lacin Gokman, Yekta’s ex-wife.

Ozcan is stunned. He didn’t think about that connection. Omer continues, my father reported Ceylin to the Bar. I filed the complaint, but it was signed by Yekta. My father is smart, he earned Ceylin’s trust. He convinced them they had a mutual enemy.

Derya asks the others, should we believe him? Eren replies, it’s hard to trust Yekta. But I’ve seen how Omer terrifies him. I know you’ll be mad, Ceylin says, but Yekta and I worked on Ilgaz’s defense. It’s a first for him. And Omer is a liar. Ilgaz comments, Yekta is telling the truth.

Turgut has Yekta arrested. Ilgaz and Ceylin walk by as this is happening. Yekta makes an appeal to Ceylin. She’s ready to step in, but Ilgaz stops her. Ilgaz spots Turgut and Ozcan watching down the hallway. They are wrapping this up quickly, he notes.
Yekta is brought to the cell next to Omer. What did you tell them, he asks, what lie did you make up? Omer is silent as he taps his foot on the floor. Yekta becomes enraged. Answer me, android! Answer me! The guard tells Yekta to shut up.

Ceylin asks her friends, if we believe Yekta, why aren’t we helping him? Ilgaz has a plan. We won’t help. We’ll say we are mad at Yekta, we’ll tell everyone he lied to us again, he’s our enemy. Everyone needs to believe this. They need to think everything is going as planned. Eren gets it—they will relax and make mistakes. The others agree.

But we’ll find out who’s pulling the strings as soon as possible, Ceylin says. Eren thinks it’s a powerful person with lots of connections. Contraband doesn’t know what held the officers back one hour. Ilgaz says they are back to square one. They try to figure out who Omer was working with. Derya thinks there must be a judicial connection.

Ceylin says she has a candidate—Ozcan. He came out of nowhere. He’s nervous and annoying. And very ambitious, Derya adds. It would be unfortunate, Ilgaz says, but he’s a strong contender. I’ll ask to be put back on the case. I’ll deal with Ozcan. This conversation can’t leave this office. Let’s keep an eye on Ozcan without anyone noticing it, okay? I don’t want anyone going through the same as me.

Ilgaz asks Eren to hold on to the bullet casing. He invites everyone to dinner at his place tonight. They can eat and strategize.

Tugce gets all over Cinar about letting Eyup escape. Lol, Osman pulls Parla away from Cinar’s side and takes her into the restaurant. Metin keeps Cinar back from the others. He pulls his son into a hug. He’s proud of him but he’s also angry. He helped Ilgaz but almost got killed. He warns Cinar that Osman “knows” and looks like he wants to hit him. Sit away from her. Don’t let your future FIL hit you.

Ilgaz comes to see Turgut and asks for his case back so he can finish what he started. Ozcan objects—I’ll finish what you started. To Ozcan’s surprise, Turgut gives Ilgaz the case. He tells Ozcan he’s probably missed in Bakirkoy. Another surprise— Ilgaz offers to work with Ozcan. Turgut asks Ilgaz if he’s sure. Ilgaz is sure. Turgut turns to the shocked Ozcan, who agrees to work with Ilgaz.

Eren asks Ceylin about Kesik. Turgut is on my case, he says, he wants to read your statement. I told him there was no footage. I have to question Osman. He’s going to panic, Ceylin worries. Eren says there’s nothing he can do.

Eren goes to see Yekta in holding. He puts on a good show. Well, well, father and son behind bars at the same time! Wow! This is shameful, Yekta responds, I helped you and you’re a hypocrite. Eren fires back—since when is covering your ass an act of kindness? Did you do charitable work? Am I shameful?

Let’s say you don’t believe in my good will, Yekta replies, where did you get the idea I’m guilty? Do you have proof? Eren points to Omer. [Turkish] Your son is the pawn and you controlled him. The lid and the saucepan. A father and son team. Right, Devil Jr.? Yekta disputes this. We are not a team! There’s no father – son team. He’s a lunatic!
Eren says that’s their family business. He has no say. You can continue to live as cellmates, he says. Goodbye. See you Devil Jr. Yekta pleads, Eren Komiser, you’re making a big mistake. Tell Ceylin this is shameful. I’ll never forgive her! She disappointed me! Eren laughs and leaves.

Ilgaz reviews Omer’s statement. Ozcan says the young man is a victim of his father. He’s the type who is easily manipulated. He’ll do anything to please his father. [Is Ozcan very gullible, very guilty or just plain stupid?]

Turgut is pacing and thinking. I don’t know if it’s because he’s a fool or a pawn, but he couldn’t have designed this plan on his own. It’s obvious he has backing. Ilgaz says that person is Yekta. I’ve never trusted Yekta. The favors he does benefit himself. Turgut readily agrees. We are aware of his hatred of you. We know the history.

Ozcan tells Ilgaz it was Lacin that reported him. He used her, too? Ilgaz asks, I’m not surprised. Ozcan adds that Yekta was the one who reported Ceylin. Ilgaz says, here’s what we’ll do. We’ll prove Yekta planned everything, we’ll take him to trial, and we’ll recover the relics that are still in the country. Shall we get started, DA Ozcan? Everyone agrees.

Ilgaz enters his rearranged office. He’s visibly shaken. Ozcan says, I didn’t think you’d be coming back. He tells Ilgaz he will put everything back the way it was and return the office to him. Ilgaz replies, I’d be happy to share my office with you while we conduct this investigation. Ozcan says they can work from separate offices, but Ilgaz wants to get right to work. [Ozcan looks confused by all this, or is he suspicious of Ilgaz?]

Ceylin shows up at the restaurant. Metin asks, where’s Ilgaz and Eren? Ceylin says Ilgaz went right back to work and Eren is at the station. Ceylin says she needs to go to the station. She turns to Osman, I need help. My car is acting up. Osman leaves with Ceylin.

Osman wonders what’s going on. Ceylin prepares him for the news. No drama, okay? Osman is getting scared. Ceylin tells him to go back inside, eat, and come up with an excuse to leave. Then go to the station to testify.

Osman starts to freak out. Kesik? They know? They’ll come after us! Ceylin calms him, there’s nothing to fear. Eren’s going to question you and I’ll be there. I’ll tell you what to say and that’s that. Osman continues to freak. We buried his body! What’s going to happen? Ceylin lunges at Osman to shut him up. Shut up! She repeats her instructions. He asks her for money to pay the check. She calls him a cheapskate and forks over the TL.

Turgut walks in on Ilgaz and Ozcan. He apologizes for the interruption and says, something worries me. Yekta reported Ceylin so she couldn’t represent you (Ilgaz). Eren investigated and we couldn’t find anything in the surveillance footage. I say we close that investigation [Kesik’s abrupt burial]. Both Ilgaz and Ozcan are surprised.

Turgut continues, I don’t want our officers to waste their time on this. Yekta put on a show and defended Ceylin. I want to hear your take, though. Do you think we should? Ilgaz and Ozcan look at each other. Ozcan answers, we’ll do whatever you see fit. Ilgaz shrugs. Turgut leaves.

Ilgaz says he wants to go to the Security office. Ozcan asks why. A document was taken from my office to forge my signature, Ilgaz replies, then it was brought back. Omer said he didn’t take it and I want to find out who did.

Ozcan reminds Ilgaz they reviewed the footage. He says, no one entered your office. Ilgaz wants to see that for himself. Ozcan stops him—there’s no need. He hands Ilgaz a flash drive—it’s all here. This is from the day you signed the document.

Ilgaz leaves the office, and a nervous Ozcan makes a phone call. We don’t see the rest of that.

Ceylin arrives at the station and runs into brownnose Rafet. Çok şükür, Avukat Hanım. You saved DA Ilgaz. He wasn’t saved because I was his lawyer, Ceylin replies, he was innocent. That’s what I’m saying, Rafet answers, DA Ilgaz is very dear to us. [Note Ceylin’s disgust.] Rafet doesn’t stop—we’ve been good friends for years. You weren’t even at university yet. I like him very much. Ceylin has heard enough, she starts walking. Rafet calls out, wait, Eren isn’t in his office, I’ll find him.

Eren returns to his office. Ceylin tells him Osman is coming. Eren tells her his team is looking for Eyup.

Turgut gets an emergency call. Nergis, dear, calm down. The ambulance will be there soon. Calm down, don’t cry. If you panic, you’ll make it worse. Ilgaz walks in and hears some of this. Turgut takes his coat and tells Nergis he will be on the first flight out. Ilgaz asks if there’s anything he can do. My daughter is very sick, Turgut replies, I have to go. Turgut runs out of the courthouse. [Gosh, another person with a sick loved one. Should we suspect Turgut? He’s always made me uncomfortable.]

Osman makes it to Eren’s office. He’s a nervous wreck and is driving Ceylin crazy. She advises, Eren will ask if you know Kesik and you will say you don’t! Fine, Osman replies, what do I say? Ceylin is exasperated. Say you don’t know him, that you don’t have any info. How many times do I have to say it?

Osman worries, and if he asks about the cemetery? Say you weren’t there, Ceylin barks, you went to see me to get a letter of recommendation and then you left. Osman asks, where did I go? Wherever you spent the rest of your day, she snaps back. Osman whines, it’s too complicated! Ceylin is steamed. She goes over the script one more time.

Eren enters and says that Turgut dropped the case so he doesn’t have to question Osman. Çok şükür and a sigh of relief from Ceylin. I don’t have to testfy, Osman asks. No, you don’t, Ceylin fires back, congratulations! Osman has an overreaction of relief. Thank God! My heart! I felt the bars closing in on me. My hands and feet are sweating! Eren and Ceylin break into laughter. He asks Eren for some sugar.

Yekta calls Ceylin. How could you fail me like this? Ceylin plays with him. Yekta is that you? I can’t hear you. Did you forget about me, he asks. You haven’t even bothered to come see me. Is that how you protect our attorney-client privilege? You know perfectly well I’m innocent. I don’t understand how this blew up in my face and no one says anything about it. Maybe it’s time to say goodbye, she tells him. Yekta reminds her, I protected you and DA Ilgaz. I helped you put out the fire.

What exactly did you protect, Ceylin asks, you were protecting yourself. You made a complaint and now you’re saying you protected me? This is what you deserve! Yekta doesn’t understand. You reported me to the Bar, she replies.

Yekta is shocked. What? He turns to look at Omer. He tells Ceylin to consider that the fraudster forged his signature. Should I think about what you and your fake son are up to, she answers. Besides, you reported Ilgaz at Bakirkoy and did it in Lacin’s name. Yekta turns to look at Omer again. Ceylin says she’s hanging up, but Yekta beats her to it.

I have one question for you, fraudster Omer, Yekta asks, why? You got Ilgaz in trouble and dragged me down with him. You threw me into the flames! Omer looks straight ahead and doesn’t answer. Answer, you idiot, Yekta shouts, answer! The guard comes in, tells Yekta to calm down and locks him back in his cell.

Ilgaz arrives home and startles her. Let me kiss you, he says. He tells her she has a nice voice. There’s talk of adding to their family. He wants to get to work right away. But dinner is about to burn, and their friends arrive.

Eren drops the news of his promotion. His friends are thrilled for him.

Yekta accuses Omer of killing his real son and taking his place. Then you put your mother in a nursing home at a young age. Tell me directly, tell me what you are after. Omer lies on the bench like he’s in a coffin [are they giving us a spoiler?]

Omer/Yakup says, Omer… he was a good kid. He was honest. That’s why we thought he was so weak. A flaw, a defect. Omer had been sick since birth, and he made my mother sick. And because of that, I had to carry the heavy load. I worked while he studied. I was just a child, but I grew up fast.

Omer sits up. He continues, then my mother told me you were his father and that’s when I asked Omer for one thing. He takes off his glasses. Something I could keep for the rest of my life. I asked him if I could confront you and give you what you deserved. I wanted to be a man of your stature.

But he didn’t want that, Omer says. He walks closer to Yekta. He should have let me because I have rights, too. Omer scratches his neck. I started to think about it after Omer’s death. Perhaps the idea was always there, I can’t be sure. Sometimes our brain plays dirty tricks on us. I realized I could still get what I deserved. And that’s when I came here and took his place.

There’s no such thing as a coincidence, Omer continues, I got to know you very well. A small room in your house, a space in your office. It wasn’t enough. I asked myself, “why can’t I have it all? Maybe I will.” Omer steps closer to the bars that separate him from Yekta.

Ilgaz gives Eren the flash drive. He asks him to find out who stole the document used to forge his signature. Ceylin asks about Ozcan. Does he suspect anything? He was happy to stay on the case, Ilgaz replies, but he wasn’t happy about sharing an office with me.
Let’s see what Omer does when he’s released tomorrow. Ceylin says, if he’s his guy, he’ll be happy. Derya is surprised that Omer would be released. Isn’t he dangerous? Eren says they won’t let him leave. Ilgaz adds, we believe whoever is working with Omer will contact him immediately.

Derya thinks this is a good plan. Ceylin says, Yekta will be angry because we put the blame on him. Eren kind of accuses Ceylin of being sympathetic towards Yekta. Whatever, Ceylin says, just don’t let Yekta’s rash behavior spoil our plans.

Omer takes a step back. I’ll get to go, but you’ll be staying here, you know that don’t you? Yekta shakes his head. I’ll never let that happen, he growls, never! Never! He reaches through the bars to grab Omer. Do you hear me? I didn’t become Yekta Tilmen overnight! I’ll show you! I’ll make you pay for this! I won’t permit this! Never!

Yekta’s shouting wakes the guard. What’s going on? Omer sits down and puts his glasses back on. Yekta gives him the death stare.

And we are out.

Thanks so much, dondi. Excellent recap of a very frustrating episode. Yes, that video that was shown in court was taken by Eyup for leverage and showed Omer using the CNC machine. Can't understand why Turgut lets this go.

I didn't understand the part about Lacin making a complaint when they said ir last night, nor when it was in today's recap. Probably I've forgotten something.

Yekta is not doing himself any favors by raving at Omer in the cell. He shouldn't give him any more ammunition. Too bad he couldn't record what fake Omer said.

Ilgaz says they should relax and let the other side make mistakes. But, for the first time, I feel sorry for Yekta.

I love Metin when he's fatherly. He wasn't happy with what Cinar did, but that was such a sweet embrace.

Ozgan, if he is guilty of somthing, has a lousy poker face. It seems he wants to stay on as a DA in Istanbul. Or maybe that place they mention that begins with a B is a suburb of Istanbul. I only know where three towns are: Istanbul, Kars, and Ankara (from dizis). I think he didn't want to share the office because he can't easily coordinate with the ones he's working for.

I was surprised that Turgut was willing to let Ceylin off the hook on the bar accusation.

Dondi, I remember your writing that maybe showing Turgut's family might prove significant, and so it is. It gets him out of Istanbul. That's if it's true and he's not faking a child's illness. Now I suspect nearly everyone!

Why would Omer be released? If you commit a crime at the behest of your father, isn't it still a crime?

Another quickie. Tigre tells Lianna about his plan to ruin Braulio as the president of the company. His plan is to con Braulio into buying some really cheap fabric from some contact of his. When it all blows up...

Well, it was said that Martha's child would be in her 40's. So that rules out any current cast members that I can think of.

Consuelo again gets the Ugly Cry prize. That's all she does; and she looks awful doing it.

Braulio makes a complete ass of himself, jealous of Diego. He tells Amalia to fire him, but she's not up for that.

Santi gets smashed sitting at a bar with Roberto. When Roberto steps away to get the car, Violeta moves in. He keeps calling her Nuria. He must be drunk if he can't see that fairly awful looking gummy smile. She manages to prop him up long enough to get a selfie that looks like he's into her.

Diego leaves the place where he's been teaching the kids art. He is in love with Amalia, but it's difficult because she's trying to play happy families to the outside world for Juanito.

Santi locates Tania Solórzano, who he thinks is Martha's daughter. We'll see if this is true; it seemed too easy.

Violeta comes to the warehouse part of the store to show Nuria the photo of she and Santi. Of course she did.

Thank you Novelera for the notes from Monday and Tuesday. The beginning of the week is usually very busy for me but I can put up some notes tomorrow for today's episode. It will be mid-morning before I can get it posted.

It's funny Susan said that because she had seen the actress playing Amelia is the evil Karen in Mi Camino es Amarte, she was having a hard time seeing her as good here. I also saw Camino, but the actress is doing such a wonderful job as Amelia that I'd forgotten all about Karen!!! I'm liking this actress more and more every day!

I don't understand girls like Violetta, does she really not realize she has less than 0% chance with Santi?? Apparently so, and she'll burn Rosendo (or however his name is spelled) in pursuit of Santi. Not that Rosendo was any prize either....hehe Makes me wonder why she is so opposed to seeing her father? Obviously, it's not because she has excellent morals with which to judge daddy for his crimes! Practically making out with a basically passed out Santi, YUCK!!!

Lianna is just as delusional but at least you can give her room for her delusion, she and Santi are in the same social circle, his family loves her, and he's shown some attraction to her in the past giving her reason for false hopes, Santi has never looked at Violetta with any kind of interest. I actually feel sorry for Lianna, surprisingly, she's done some horrible things, but she also has had Braulio playing on all of her insecurities for who knows how many years, then the rape, and now Tigre is stepping up to play on her vulnerabilities and use her as a weapon in his revenge.

So Chello now knows that Santi is the BIL of Braulio and thus the new Tio of Juandres and she seems worried about how close Nuria is, but she didn't warn Fausto! So that's something!!! Novelera, I too doubt she'll go through with the abortion, but I sure hope she manages to get rid of Fausto in 9 months' time! Anyway you slice it, that baby is in grave danger with Fausto in his life.

I'm sure Diego won't go very far, but if they are going to delay Diego and Amelia getting together than they do need some distance. It was sickening to listen to Braulio suggest that men cheat, that's what they do, and Amelia should just accept it!!! But I laughed when Amelia asked him if he was really suggesting such a thing and he just shrugged somewhat sheepishly!!!

Novelera, thanks for the recap . I couldn't watch , but I will try to find some photos . I am somehow vaguely curious to see Violeta putting the moves on drunk Santi. These telenovelas love to depict desperate women trying to get the galan anyway they can.

Darcy, thanks for the notes you added. Violeta's imprisoned father is the actor who played Amelia's ( Karen's ) nice father in " Camino." ( Gabe Soto who was the galan in that show is now playing a roue and womanizer in " Vencer .") I love the way these actors and actresses keep popping up in different configurations in these shows. It is like a huge repertory company .

You have a point about Liaba swimming with sharks ..Braulio and now creepy Tigre . Maybe she will not survive .

I don't need to see Chelo's weepy , pathetic face anymore. Checks surely carrying sweet, foolhardy Jacinto's baby and needs to get away from crazyFausto pronto. Susan

Thanks for your comments, everyone. We are in the final two weeks. I think this will keep us guessing to the very end. I always worry about the endings. I hope for the best and expect the worst.

Wow, Omer set it up to pin it on Yekta from the beginning so he could take over the Tilmen empire. And I guess whoever he’s working with is fine with that, too. Just like he reported Ceylin using Yekta's name, Omer filed the complaint against Ilgaz using Lacin’s name. Don’t know if it was an act, but Ozcan really seemed surprised about that. Omer played that card when he needed it.

“Why would Omer be released? If you commit a crime at the behest of your father, isn't it still a crime?” ITA, novelera.

Sometimes I think Ozcan is the culprit, sometimes I think it’s Turgut. Maybe it’s both?

Bakirkoy is a district and neighborhood on the European side of Istanbul. IIRC it was mentioned that Ilgaz’s courthouse is in the Sultanhamet neighborhood of Istanbul, also on the European side. I think the Kayas live in the Sarıyer district/neighborhood, European side. I still get confused between provinces, districts, municipalities and neighborhoods in Turkey.

secrets #126 part 1

At dinner, Ilgaz asks Eren if he has the IDs. Eren hands them out. He tells Derya they will be siblings. He also hands out credit cards. We’ll rent the cars after dinner, Ilgaz says, we’re going to Greece. When does the operation start, Ceylin asks. We pick up the cars tomorrow and then we hand them over to CSI without crossing the border, Ilgaz replies.

Ceylin wants to cross the border. Save it for Alaçatı, Ilgaz tells her. [it’s on the Çeşme Peninsula in Izmir province. Beautiful beaches.] Derya asks and Ceylin explains that Ilgaz asked her to buy tickets when he was in prison.

Ilgaz gets back to planning. If we find the relics they intend to smuggle, we’ll raid the company. Ceylin wonders if the cars have GPS. Won’t they notice us going off route? Who said we would, Ilgaz replies.

Cinar, Tugce and Merve are at the Erguvan house. Cinar wants to give the girls a ride home, he’s worried about Eyup lurking. Tugce says to let the cops handle it. The girls leave and Cinar gets a big hug from Parla. Parla! Aylin calls from upstairs and breaks the spell. A couple of quick pecks on the cheek and he goes.

Parla heads up and finds her parents waiting for her at the table for a talk. Aylin asks, what’s going on between you and Cinar? We’re friends, she replies, normal stuff. We don’t think so, Aylin says, right, Osman? He agrees.

Osman takes over from here. Kızım, you’re all grown up and soon you’ll go to college. You’ll have new friends and a boyfriend. We went through that ourselves. You’ll forget your responsibilities. You won’t care about anything else. You’re curious, you want to have fun. These are the best years of your life, right Aylin? Yes… yes, Aylin agrees. We met when we were her age, Osman adds.

Osman continues, but as you know, people make mistakes. It’s normal. He takes his daughter’s hand and says, no matter what you do, feel free to make mistakes, but be honest with us about it. Talk to your mother and I so we can help you. Can you promise to do that? She gives a slight nod. Your heart will get broken, he says, but you should never feel alone. You have your mother and father. Güzelim benim... he pinches her cheek.

Now, what’s going on between you and Cinar, Osman asks. We like each other a little, she answers shyly. I’m glad you said it, Osman replies, we’re happy for you, right Aylin? Yes, sure. Osman says they should always talk like this. Parla nods. She’s sort of weirded out and excuses herself to go to bed.

Aylin praises Osman for how he handled this situation. She expected him to be upset. He’s surprised to hear this from her. I just said how I felt it, he tells her, I didn’t want to make a big deal. Aylin offers to make him coffee or something. [I guess there’s hope for these two.]

Ceylin and Derya prepare tea and sweets, while Ilgaz and Eren do the car rental. Ceylin makes a comment about tea for Derya. We have to take care of the little princess… and her mother.

Umut calls Eren to say Igor died in prison. Ilgaz asks how it happened. Eren says something got stuck in his throat while he ate. Either no one helped him, or the help didn’t work. [was he eating special baklava?] Eren speculates, he probably insulted someone and ended up getting killed.

Ilgaz gets up from his seat. Let’s find out who’s responsible. He already has a suspect in mind. Ceylin whispers to Eren, maybe it was Merdan Dede. Do you think he’d do that, Derya asks. [lol] Eren thinks they’re on to something. Let’s go.

 

secrets #126 part 2

Everyone comes to Metin’s door. Ilgaz asks if Grandpa is home. [duh!] Merdan has made dessert. He leaves to get plates and forks. Ilgaz takes him aside. Grandpa, someone passed away in prison. Do you know anything about it? Yes, Merdan says heard about it. Ilgaz asks if he was involved. Merdan denies it. Wasn’t his death due to natural causes?
Ilgaz is not happy. Everyone else decides to have Grandpa’s dessert.

Afterwards, Eren refers to Derya as a mother to be of a girl. Inshallah, I will be the mother of a girl, she replies. Inshallah, Eren repeats, girls are special. Ilgaz says, ah, Eren, you’ve buried us all. Eren notes that girls aren’t easily deceived. Ceylin agrees and tells Derya she’s going with her to her next checkup.

Ilgaz reminds them they are to meet at the courthouse tomorrow at 11a. He asks Eren about Turgut’s daughter and asks him to find out about it. Derya and Eren leave.

Ceylin hurries over to the laptop. She wants to look at hotels. He says to make it quick, he’s sleepy. She books an expensive one. They will split the cost. There’s flirting and Ilgaz tries to tickle her. More flirty stuff in the morning as they get ready to start their day.

Eyup is lurking at Parla’s school but there are cops all around.

I don’t know if Ilgaz’s car was restored, or he got a model just like it. That was a bit confusing to me when he picked it up at a garage.

Ilgaz asks an assistant if Turgut is back yet. He will return tomorrow. Ilgaz enters his office and Ozcan is already there, having breakfast. Ceylin knocks on the door and enters. She says good morning. Ilgaz repeats it back. Ozcan snarks, don’t you live in the same house? I don’t think she’s greeting me.

Ceylin says that Yekta wants to testify. He’s shameless enough to ask me to represent him. I think he’s trying to play us. I turned him down because of what he’s done, but I wanted to notify you. Ilgaz turns to Ozcan, since he wants to testify, let’s hear him. Ozcan agrees. Ceylin leaves.

Ozcan comments, she makes a good impression, but I’m surprised. It doesn't matter if Yekta wants her as his lawyer. She’s your wife. Her name can’t appear on the same case. This is still your case, Ilgaz reminds Ozcan, if Ceylin wants to represent Yekta, there’s nothing to legally stop her.

Omer is staring at Yekta as he sleeps. Guards wake Yekta to take him for questioning. Yekta complains about the abrupt awakening. Isn’t there a cappuccino? Espresso? What kind of service is this? Awful!

Ceylin catches Yekta coming up the stairs. Can we talk, she asks. He ignores her. As colleagues, she says. Forget it, he answers, I can defend myself. I don’t need anyone, especially you. I’m going to provide some preliminary information, she says. If you don’t have anything to get me out, save it, he replies. She tells him that’s the plan. Yekta understands and asks to speak with Ceylin.

Ilgaz hangs his painting back on the wall. Ozcan explains he removed it so Ceylin could take it home. He apologizes.

Yekta gets questioned. Ilgaz starts, Yekta Tilmen, it appears you are the mastermind of the plot against me. From the report you filed in your wife’s name, what you said about your son, Omer… everything points to you. Yekta stares at Ilgaz in silence for a few seconds. He replies, I… I’m sorry DA. I fell prey to my animosity to you and I didn’t hold back when the situation favored me. Everything you said is true.

Ozcan gives a “can’t believe this” look at Ilgaz. Yekta continues, to start, I apologize to you and our colleagues for lying. I used my son, Omer. He only did what he was told. So you admit to setting up a plan and forging my name, Ilgaz asks. Yekta answers yes. Ozcan looks very confused.

 

secrets #126 part 3

Ilgaz comes out and tells the officers to take Yekta back to the cell. Ceylin takes the walk with Yekta. She assures him this plan will work. I hope so, he replies, otherwise my revenge will be terrible.

Yekta is returned to his cell. He paces and Omer follows. What’s wrong, Dad? You look crestfallen. Yekta nods. Ilgaz appears and announces, Omer Atamer, since the evidence confirms your statement, you’re being released. Omer was sure justice would be done. He looks at Yekta and says, I hope the true culprits are punished and rehabilitated.

Ilgaz tells Omer that the investigation continues, and he is a key witness. I’d like to be able to contact you whenever necessary. Don’t leave the city. Omer agrees. Ilgaz adds a warning—don’t come near Ceylin.

Omer leaves the courthouse. There are two cops following him. Eren shows up and tells Ilcey they have multiple teams following Omer.

Eren says that Turgut’s daughter has been very sick for a long time. Her treatment can only be done abroad. [that takes lots of money, right?] Sad news. The girl is only 18 months old. It’s heartbreaking when a child is so sick. God help them. May God never test people with their children. Amen.

Derya shows up, ready to commence the operation. She notes Ilcey are dressed too formal for vacation. They’ll get clothes along the way.

Lacin is working with her personal trainer when Omer arrives home. He calls out, hello Lacin Teyze. She gasps and drops her weights. The trainer asks her if she’s okay. He tells the trainer to go. He will stay with Lacin. Lacin looks terrified. The trainer asks again if she’s okay. Lacin tries to calm herself. I’m okay, she replies, thanks for coming today.

So, we were recommended to you, the smiling car rental guy asks our group. Customer satisfaction is our priority. He points out the cars they will rent. Cars are clean, tanks are full, and the permits are in the glove box. He asks if they are traveling together. He doesn’t mean to meddle but notes they could have taken one car. Cost savings. Eren gets annoyed. Derya tugs him. She explains they are going to different places.

Lacin quietly panics. She pours some water. She goes upstairs.

Ceylin tells Ilgaz she has a bad feeling. She wants out. The road is like therapy, Ilgaz replies, sometimes you have to endure it. Exactly, she says, let’s get out of here. You’ll take me home tonight after we finish our mission. Be patient, he says, we’ll go on vacation soon.

Eren calls. Let’s stop at a gas station. They stop but it’s not just a gas station. There’s a forensics set up there and Goksu is waiting. Eren asks how long it will take. Not long, Goksu replies, go have a cup of tea.

Lacin knocks on Omer’s door. He’s meticulously folding clothes. He tells Lacin the help is not doing a good job. She’s disregarding the colors. Fire her. Lacin ignores this. She tells Omer she’s shocked but happy they were released. When were you released, she asks, why didn’t I hear? Omer clarifies, not we… I was released. Yekta is still inside.

Can we talk, Lacin asks. Omer tells her to sit next to him on the bed, he’s listening. She looks like she’s going to her death. Lacin starts, I lost my son. I experienced the worst pain one could experience, and I thought I’d found hope when you came into our lives. For me, for Yekta.

Lacin continues, you know how hard I worked to make Yekta accept you so we could become a family. But I’m scared you’ll hurt the people I love. The people you hate are the people I care about. I see them as family. That has made me sad.

 

secrets #126 part 4

I never meant to upset you, Lacin Teyze, Omer says, you’re very precious to me. I want love. A mother, a father. I want a family. Everything I’ve done has been to protect you. But Yekta is evil. He pulls Lacin into a hug. Don’t be afraid, he tells her, I’ll protect you from him. He left, but I’m here. He’s evil. He’s a strange and dangerous person. [ha, he’s describing himself.] Don’t worry, I’ll protect you. Lacin is petrified.

Our friends enjoy some time out in nature, at a waterfall. Ceylin wants to get closer. Derya and Eren want to stay behind and eat. Ilgaz is game. Ceylin calls this a mini vacation on their mission. From now on, Ilgaz says, we’ll enjoy life whenever we can. Tomorrow is promised to no one [and perhaps the next episode.] Ceylin asks, promise? He does. A kiss before moving on.

Lacin has a bag packed. She sneaks out the door.

And we are out.

Peacock is still not updated which is very strange. They are usually very good about posting timely. The show was on last night, right? Anyway I’m sorry but I am still not able to watch since it’s not posted.

Susan, Braulio and Santi are half brothers and they have the same father (IIRC), Roberto. Martha is actually Santi’s stepmother but she’s raised him since he was very young.

I'm glad Ceylin was able to convey to Yekta that Ilcey is on his side. Otherwise I feared he'd do something that would backfire on them. (Loved Yekta's "Answer me, android!" to Omer.)

I suspect Turgut. Doesn't make sense that he would include Ilgaz on the decision whether to close the Kesik burial case involving Ceylin. Plus, he's smarter than Ozcan.

Of course I suspect everything. Whenever someone takes a sip of water, I wonder if it's poisoned.

I don't get exactly what they're doing with the car rentals in their investigation, but looking forward to how this works out.

Osman was sweet with Parla, but I'm guessing like most teens in "luv" it went in one ear and out the other.
