Well, the episode wasn't very eventful, but the comments of the original recap for today were hilarious!!! I def recommend reading them.

Let's see, highlights: Sonia declares her love for Leon, Gracie is now dating David - not sure David is dating Gracie or not, Marta and Ramon are now a couple - por Ramon!!! Marta gives Luci more insensitive and callous advise to just get over David and let the kids be happy! (Oh please, woman!) Erika is jumping at the bit to playhouse with Miggy, but it looks like he might be getting cold feet. Lil cries 'Marta, Marta, Marta, for the 300,000th time!

Since I recently decided to be Team Gracie I am not even going to point out that she sounds ridiculous telling David he's too handsome to be alone after spending the last month harpy on 'You have to end your relationship and put the kids first'.... Gracie for President!!!


Oh, and Susan and Cesar are fighting because she can't just snap out of her trauma and play footsies with him 15 mins after her abusive husband/tormenter gets killed right in front of her while trying to kidnap her and/or kill her best friend. Cesar is probably about the best this screwy novela has to offer, but it's absolutely insane for him to not understand why Susan might need some time to process this trauma and to be pressuring her at this juncture!!!

Speaking of too good, it's maddening to see Marta acting like she's 'settling' for Ramon who is WAY TOO GOOD for her!!! She's hitting the lottery, his biggest fault is that he's stupid enough to want her. Maybe he's a lazy dater - she's there and 'available' so why go all the way into town to look for a date....sigh.


 

"VINO" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION:
Darcy: Marta is such a hypocrite: she's been going around (Don Fernando, Marcos, Jackass Gutierrez, Ramon).

I hope Roman knows what he's getting into.

Cesar & Susan: Yep. Cannot keep up with these two!

Crazy Whacky Blonde will get her Karma anvil sooner or later. Mark my words: the chickens will be coming home to roost!

Bold Predictions: Gut feeling neither Erika & Jackass Gutierrez will be among the living. Just a gut feeling!

Only thing that was exciting yesterday: Sonia & LionCub.
 

Vino. Yep, Darcy, David and Graciela seem on the way to becoming a couple. And yuck! The episode opens with the scene of them kissing passionately. What a con artist Graci is! And once again it's Luci's complain, complain, complain, and Marta's unfeeling Just get over it--and on and on. I agree that Cesar is too hard on Susan. On some reality notes, Lilian was reading a book by Lisa Scottoline; the cover looks as if it could be Rough Justice. Wonder if in English or Spanish translation. And the SF aquarium really is very cool! How did the writes know that? I went there as a child and used to take my children during the short time we lived in San Francisco. So now Bobby is in the futbol school and Luci is jumping to conclusions. Graciela will have to show her true colors sometime. Carito seems to have Perla's number--that may save her.

SpanProf: Carito will be among the living. I do NOT see them killing her off.

Perla on the other hand..... She's going to do something stupid which will cause her ultimate demise at some point.

Bold Prediction: Body Count will increase this week. I can smell it!

I am dealing with a customer service nightmare on a missing package with Christmas presents for my nieces and nephews. I don’t have the mental energy to comment tonight. I will comment tomorrow.

Vino. Yes I am! Though I'm having to watch online because Channel 20 seems no longer to be Univision on our local Xfinity/Comcast tv network. There must be something in the 100s, 200s or 300s, but so far I haven't found it.
 

Vino. Looking forward to your comments, Darcy. I hope you get the missing package problem resolved quickly.
 

Vino. While I have a chance, a few short comments. Miguel was wearing a great suit and Erika looked gorgeous. But if she can't even travel to Spain now she must still be quite sick. Lilian is being a worse bully than ever with Marta. There is a lot of talking about the competition before it actually happens, and a long time before we know the results. Oh the suspense! Ahhhh. Sonia and Marta becoming friends. That's nice! Both presentations were excellent. I'm glad Miguel and Erika have made it official now, and d. Adolfo is so sweet! He just wants to see Erika happy. And her winery wins! Of course, as one would expect, Luciana overreacts to her "loss" and blames her love's not being good enough as the reason they lost. It was the last possibility for her and David to resume their relationship? Ridiculous. I'm kind of surprised that the judges didn't name a 2nd and 3rd place.

Well the package thing is resolved but it took way longer than it should have. I had to reach out 4 times to get a resolution.

On to the show, first yesterday, I want to say a couple things:

1) Why does Lil have the authority to tell Marta she is no longer the nanny and reassign all her duties????

2) Luci looked very pretty but that dress seemed a little too harsh/dramatic? for a daytime event. Erika looked lovely!!!

Now today:

1) What is Juan going to do with a vineyard if/when he wins??? We've never seen him do one minute of work at the olive grove, I wonder if he ever even thinks about the endgame when he has to actually work!!!!

2) Should Cartito tell David about Juan and Perla? Absolutely! Should she have told Perla that she was going to tell??? NO!!!! Come on girl, have some intelligence! Just because no one else does, doesn't mean you shouldn't have some.

3) I'm #TeamGracie all day, as you know, and I decided today that Luci should be more like Gracie - not in the psychotic and murderous ways, but in the perseverance dept! If Gracie was the one being told that she can't be with David because of the kids (as she should be since you know, she's their aunt) there's no way in hell she's just accept it and cry about it!!!! Which is my biggest issue with Luci, she claims David is the love of her life and she's willing to do exactly nothing about it. I have asked like 37 times why exactly it is that Luci is the 'wrong woman for the children', and why Fernanda who isn't a child, is being counted as a child, etc etc etc. Luci hasn't asked even ONCE!!! She kind of deserves Dave come to think of it, they are both ineffective and whinny. But I'm still team Grace!

4? Speaking of Grace, I am SHOCKED that she didn't take advantage of her newly formed relationship as an excuse to kiss David on the mouth in front of Luci!!! She's had two opportunities so far and hasn't taken either of them! I wonder why she's holding back? I wonder how long it will be before Luci finds out they are dating.

Ceasar to David when he tells him about Gracie: 'I think you're confused!' ROTFL That should be the wiki character description of David. The whole entire description, it should just say 'I think you're confused'.

 

"VINO" EPISODE#119:

Darcy: Gut feeling Erika won't make it alive either this week or next week because of the possibility she's still sick due to having asthma problems.

Lillian AKA Pete Wilson 2.0 still a complete asshole & don't get me started with Crazy Whacky Blonde because their Karma anvils are coming soon.

SpanProf: Juan is plotting something sinister against Carito & Co., I think Self-Hating Jackass Gutierrez will NOT be among the living because of the trends.
 

Vino. Erika was very gracious with David. Erika must be in bad shape if she won't be able to tolerate even a 1-day plane trip to L.A. for the awards ceremony. Terrible that the fungal plague has attacked d. Adolfo and Erika's vineyard. Was it even supposed to be a target? Bobby certainly has Lilian's number. Luci keeps feeling ridiculously guilty, blames herself for not winning the competition and thinks it means David and she can't have a relationship--and even more ridiculous, David seems to have bought it! Though I noticed she, he and Susan all joined together beautifully to save the vineyard from the fungus. And Bobby seems more mature than Luci, when he says "Don't throw in the towel." Going out with Graciela is a dumb idea, as Cesar sensibly notes. Lilian is now reading Sherlock Holmes. And now that Carito has figured out that Juan sabotaged both wineries, is she long for this world? By telling Perla, I think she just signed her own death warrant. Or will Perla save her?

I am betting that infecting Adolfo’s vineyard too was intentional, we know Juan his a grudge holder and Aldofo and Erika shows Juan the door when he tried to win them over to his side. Plus, they are employing Miguel who was the one to file the police report about the spoiled wine and has been very vocal in accusing Juan of various other things he is guilty of doing!
