First a note: Something I've been meaning to mention. I got rid of the Univision app because Vix+ is like 1/2 the price (and I got Vix on sale at that) and it shows the Univision shows too. But it appears only the primetime shows are added daily. I'm a cord cutter, so I don't have cable access either. Vix has Vino just the whole show already available so it's not necessarily the same as the episode aired on Uni, if/when Uni starts with the scissors, although as far as I can tell up to last night watching on Uni nothing had been cut. Still, if I mention something not seen, know that there may be a difference in the Uni vs. Vix episode.

So, David sleeps with Gracie!!! And that's unforgivable as far as I'm concerned. He's been nothing but wishy washy in his breakup with Luci, hasn't told her yet that he's decided to start dating Gracie and is now spending his days yelling unfairly at Luci while having sex with Gracie at night! I fear the show will still try to put the protags together at the end, but I promise I will not care or root for them at all!!! This is the most unhealthy, unromantic, and unsatisfying protag relationship I can ever remember seeing. I also noticed that they seem to have spent much more airtime on Gracie and David's hookup then they did the one-time Luci and David made it to the bed.

Juan is losing all his business and his temper!!! That's about the only satisfying thing going on right now! Everything else, except the David/Gracie thing is old news and recycled headlines...blah blah blah blah blah.

I'm so ready for this to come to the climax so we can see all the baddies get their anvils and mercifully come to the moment where 'El Fin' comes across our TV screens.

Darcy: Bobby & FerBrat seem ok with David banging Crazy Whacky Blonde LOL. I'm waiting for the inevitable downfall of Crazy Whacky Blonde because the truth about her killing Santa Lisa will come out.

I pressed the mute button whenever Luciana & Susan were on yesterday. Too much screeching.

Slippery Juan losing everything tells me he's getting desperate & gut feeling he'll plot something sinister against Carito, Martha.

Also sensing Self-Hating Jackass Gutierrez will be getting his Karma anvil very soon!

 

Vino. Totally agree with you about Graciela and David, Darcy! And Bobby's discovering them in bed? Not only cringeworthy but every parent's nightmare. That bedroom door should have a lock. And they end the episode just as Fer and Bobby are going to tell David if they approve of his relationship with Graciela. Oh the suspense! (not). And yes, now that his business plans are thwarted, Juan very likely will become even more dangerous than ever! A plot note: I hate those either/or plots. I know there are more than 2 vineyards in Sonoma (not to mention Napa, Mendocino and now much farther north and south), who would no doubt be willing to employ a skilled experienced enologist. Also, I am sure there are more than 2 eligible men. Find someplace where you are respected (and loved without tantrums), Luci! The good news is that there are only 20 episodes left--a month if Univision doesn't get too carried away with futbol.

SpanProf: Slippery Juan is likely going to launch something sinister against Carito mext week. Marta & Self-Hating Jackass Gutierrez might be targeted too.

Speaking of Univision: I'm hearing beginning on January 8th, they're moving Chiquiqui Baby's show to the 2:00 PM CST timeslot. Not sure what it'll mean for "VINO" & if they'll moved to the 1:00 PM CST.

Darcy: More of Sonia & LionCub please.

I totally forgot to comment yesterday, sorry.

I was trying to think of something positive to say....lol I am happy that at least now Luci knows that David is with Gracie, but I was sorry to see her react with saddness and tears. I think she should have been pissed!!! If every there was a time to smack the heck out of the 'galan' it was this!!! He totally led Luci on, has been treating her like crap, blamming her for everything; and now he wants her to shallow this whole 'I'm with Gracie because she's good for the kids' crap!!! Anyone with half a brain can see that: a) She is NOT good for the kids!! Even David knew this a month ago when he was throwing her out of the house to get Fern out from under her influence! b) there are no 'kids', there's one kid, Bobby - who loves Luci, and one young adult, Fern - although she did look like 14 in yesterday's episode somehow...

Sigh, and the cherry on top, Marta hears about Luci's heartbreak, takes her sobbing child into her arms and tells her to just move on already!!!! Mother of the year strikes again, and then she twists the knife by telling Luci that David is already sleeping with Gracie - which might actually be good info for Luci to have, but it was coldly put.

Then when Marta has her back problems, presumably from the extra work, and David is a captive worried audience, does she tell him about Lil's slave labor policy? Nope! Does she tell him off for playing her daughter? No, again. Little Miss Martyr just cries about being kept away from her ninos!!! And accuses David of trying to get rid of her instead of offering her time off to heal, boo hoo.... Have I mentioned I can't stand this woman?

Oh, positive, right.... well Leon and Sonia continue to be adorable together, although it's kind of insensitive to be all lovey dovey while helping someone drown their sorrows, isn't it??

I find myself actually laughing at Juan's downfall now, which I guess means it takes roughly 120 episodes to get past the 'ah, but it's Christian de la Campa' and actively root for his demise! :) I kind of hope Perla brings him down, but I doubt that will happen.

Steve, I haven't said anything before, mostly because I don't actually care whether or not this mess is spoiled, but we know from reading the original recaps that you watched and commented the first time around, so when you say things like 'Slippery Juan is likely going to launch something sinister against Carito next week', I worry that it's a spoiler and you are saying what you know will happen instead of just guessing. Please be careful with that!

I don't see any indication of scheduling changes on the 8th, but I don't trust univision scheduling two weeks out. It's rarely ever accurate. I look at zap2it on Friday or Saturday for the upcoming week, but any further out than that it usually changes by the next week. I do see something different about next week's schedule for Vino though. Zap2it is showing Vino from 2-4 pm, so 2 hours a day, everyday next week except for Monday which is showing only the normal one hour. I guess maybe they are speeding this up so they can move on to the next thing. 2 hours a day is a lot, glad we aren't doing full recaps!
 

Vino. Great comments, Darcy! One positive thing: Bobby is a very wise kid. His observations and comments are generally spot on. I thought it exceptionally stupid that Luci was blaming herself for Graciela's theft. And it's a little late to spill the beans on that, Luci, especially when you're roaring drunk! And indeed, David's admission that he's in a relationship with Graciela should be enough to show he's not worth the effort.
