Angel/Aurora. Apparently there is no episode today?

Angel/Aurora
I just checked and my tv is recording an episode.

Angel / Aurora

No new episode today despite the listings on the TV Guide-type sites. However...

...Spectrum cable has On Demand through #96 and it appears that there is slicing and dicing going on. I'm currently watching the #96 which had deleted scenes from yesterday's episode. If you have a paid subscription to Vix this might also be there. I'm taking notes of the deleted scenes and will post later.

Where are you?

I’m on the east coast, NC.

Angel/Aurora
My TV says January 30 but no episode #. But the summary on the TV sounds like part review-JC is recovering from his wounds while Aurora fights for her life, and some new-Jezabel saying they were attacked.

I’ll watch it later and post what i see. Unless it’s new and i should wait till it’s shown everywhere.
Liz

I caught this. It ended where yesterday's ended so it was deleted scenes. I am typing them now because they were juicy.

Angel/Aurora. Maybe it will explain how Jezabel got Tete to get into a car with her.

El Angel de Aurora #94-96
Part 1 of 3 Deleted Scenes

Slicing and dicing is now in effect. The following scenes clarified a few things that were not clear after yesterday's episode.

Jezabel dragged Teté's body, crushed her cell phone with a rock, and paused, ranting quietly about her “victory” and saying she had many things to do. She kicked the body down the incline saying “I'm going to take care of your son.”

Elvira told JC that it hurt her for Antonio to leave her for Aurora “just when I thought I had found love.” JC felt the same way. Elvia said that Antonio and Aurora were delusional and told JC they should fight for this. He looked away.

Jezabel drove away, nervous. She saw Miguel in the rear-view mirror, sitting in the back seat. He said her name. She stopped the car and got out, saying she was defending Demon. Miguel vanished. She said it was self-defense. A text from Pintas came in. She got back into the car and drove.

Helena and Demon arrived in her new office [which looks more like that of a kindergarten teacher]. After some complimentary comments, Demon started talking about Angel and Briana officially being a couple; would that not be great? She agreed. He left to go to his own office. Tania – who had been making coffee – asked her if all was well. Helena would not lie; it hurt to see Angel with Briana.

Aurora prayed to the Virgen for clarity of her feelings.

JC thought about his conversation with Elvia.

Antonio was sure he and Aurora belonged together.

Aurora thanked the Virgen for being there for her through all of this and begged her not to abandon her.

Scene of Demon and Briana in his office was a longer with a mention of Helena's birthday.

After the conversation with Esperanza – which was much longer – Angel decided to leave Helena alone but did not look happy.

El Angel de Aurora #94-96
Part 2 of 3 Deleted Scenes

Aurora had a vision of her father asking God why he gave him daughters instead of sons. She saw her younger self returning from a date only to be scolded for coming home late. “A decent novia doesn't do such things,” he said. She answered that it was 10PM, her normal hour and she was with Antonio, not alone. Miguel was still angry, just short of calling her a cualquiera or worse. She told him he had daughters instead of sons and to “accept us.” She said she and Jezabel needed his love and support before the people they know and respect. He calmed down. The vision faded and Aurora looked at the photo on the mantle, reproaching Miguel for his rejection and the pain she had endured. And yet God forgave him for this. “Now I am different,” she said. “A woman much stronger than before.”

Jezabel returned and spoke to the family photo, saying that her father would be proud of her because she was the living example of what he always told her. “The end justifies the means.” She then had a vision of him and her younger self who entered wearing black leather gloves. She said she had settled a matter and was the only daughter who thought of the family. Miguel said “It's too bad you are a woman. If you were a man you would be my equal.” She replied “My sister is just like my mother, isn't she? Because of that she's your favorite.” He did not want to hear this, telling her to dedicate herself to the business insofar as she could. She replied that she was better than most men, which he did not want to hear. “You can't be a man. You don't want to climb on my beard. You lack much and always will.”

The mature Jezabel asked “Seriously?” Miguel said “Let it be enough to inherit my talent for business. When I die this would all go away.” She challenged this by saying “Hopefully you will live long enough to see a woman like me make this empire better than you could.” He said nothing, but chuckled softly as she left the room. The vision faded as the mature Jezabel broke the picture frame and cursed Miguel, calling him a male chauvanist pig and saying she was better than he. Another text from Pintas came in, reproaching her for not answering him.

El Angel de Aurora #94-96
Part 3 of 3 Deleted Scenes

This segued into the scene of Patricia at the Santos house. Later Anita scolded her for her presumption. Patricia then got a text from Pintas, which made her nervous.

Aurora sat in the same room as her vision and had a flashback to seeing Jezabel talking to Juventino. She then realized that Jezabel knew Pintas.

The argument between Demon and Helena was a little longer.

Jezabel's crashing the “party” at Maggie's was a little longer. Aquiles put a towel on top of the repaired music box. He and Glorio stood in front of that table when Jezabel faced that direction.

This ended on Elvia's entrance in yesterday's last scene.

Angel/Aurora. Thanks, Urban! This clarifies some things. I wonder what they will do about the episode tomorrow.

El angel de Aurora

Urban, thank you for filling in what Uni decided to slice and dice out . Susan

Angel/Aurora
Thanks Urban. I was going to watch this but have a terrible cold and went back to bed. But it does make things make more sense. Elvira and JC are adults, they need to learn to accept things that don’t go their way. JC had Aurora and divorced her. I don’t think she would ever have left him for Antonio. Now she won’t have to!
Liz

Angel / Aurora Deleted Scenes

I do, too. This gets on my last nerve. Why the hell can't they slice and dice during the repetitive doldrums in the middle instead?

The difference between the two visions is that Jezabel is going over into serious mental illness. She is now truly on the edge and will be over the edge soon. Aurora is looking at the past with a clear head.

Angel/Aurora
My TV tapes an hour but it’s not El Ángel de Aurora. I have no idea what show it is and don’t recognize any of the people. I’m disappointed but glad I have your recap to read again.
Liz

Angel / Aurora

Some details missing at the moment, so checking On Demand in the morning.

Angel / Aurora

This will be up tomorrow. 2 episodes sliced and diced.

El Angel de Aurora #97
Part 1 of 3 (Includes deleted scenes and fragments)

Jezabel was looking for the music box, which Aquiles hid. Mané dropped in on Jezabel's crash, distracting her from possibly causing harm to Rolando's pet turtle. She handed some chocolate to Luis. Jezabel gave her a dirty look before kissing Luis, saying goodbye, and sneering at Mane on the way out.

Elvira told Aurora she was working for Jezabel whom Antonio said was full of prejudices. She then actually told Aurora that Jezabel is a victim of circumstance “just like you. I hope this comes to light very soon.” Aurora looked shocked.

[Deleted] Linette told Edgar that his mother's phone has not answered for a long time. She told him she was told to give him the keys to important documents if she did not return. He had a bad vibe, then flashed back to his previous conversation with her. Linette said she was a strong woman and she was sure they'd hear from her shortly. He was not so sure.

Patricia showed off at the Santos house, which – although they were too polite to say so – annoyed Antonio and JC. Jezabel went to the Santos home saying she was asking them to return to the company. [/DS]

Edgar was in Teté's office with Cassandra. He asked her if she was in love with JC. She did not want to talk about this. He told her he loved her. “As soon as my mother returns I'll work on her business. You wouldn't like that?”

Demon told Helena he was never loved by anyone before. A little by his father but not his mother. That her love was his only consolation. They kissed but she broke it, saying she didn't want to repeat her father's mistakes.

Aurora came to the Santos house, looking over her shoulder. She had the feeling of being followed and suspected it was Pintas.

Helena looked at a photo on her phone of herself and Angel. She wanted to be happy but realized she could not be without him.

JC asked Aurora if she was sure. Aurora had not seen him but she was sure. Jezabel said to call the police. Antonio went for the door. Pascual stopped him, saying not to jump to conclusions. He doubted this was Pintas, saying he wasn't an idiot and would not risk being there. Anita said that Patricia got a text that made her nervous. Patricia said it might be a sick fan of hers. Pascual sent Rolando home; the boy had something in his hand that might be car-related. Palmiro arrived looking for Mane who had not come home. Pascual asked if he had seen Pintas; he had not.

Pintas was somewhere outside, looking in the dark by the light of a Zippo.

[DS] Maggie asked Aquiles and Glorio is they thought Jezabel was innocent. Glorio thought this had something to do with Angel, but why come to the barrio? Aquiles thought she had something up her sleeve.

Demon had another tantrum about Helena and Angel and threw his glass at the foot of the bookcase. He called Briana and said to forget what he said about getting pregnant. He needed her to make Angel love her.

Patricia said something about Pintas. JC said “You don't know what people like him are capable of.” [/DS]

El Angel de Aurora #97
Part 2 of 3

JC warned that Pintas is one of those who have no fear. Jezabel said Patricia was right and he had to be far away. Briana told Angel not to worry but Angel knew what Pintas was all about and wasn't going to let him hurt Aurora. [DS] A few more rounds of this and Patricia decided to leave. She walked out the door, followed by Aurora, Antonio, and JC. Angel delayed JC long enough to tell him he was concerned about Pintas being nearby.[/DS]

Briana asked Angel if he was more st ease. He said Yes, but seemed distracted. She took his hand and said she didn't want him to worry about it. He told her that Pintas is a sneaky bastard who could turn up any minute. She asked how his studies were going. He told her very well thanks to JC and Antonio. She suggested they celebrate by going out the next day. He agreed to this. [Although he put his arm around her and kissed her was he thinking of Helena?]

[DS] Demon poured himself another drink, said the usual insulting things about Angel, and drank a toast to the grandfather he barely knew. He sat down and Aurora entered. He asked where she had been. Aurora had a vision/memory of Miguel in the same chair asking the same question. Her younger self answered she and Antonio were at the fair. He considered this beneath them, asking whether Antonio couldn't afford better. That this was for “vulgar” people and the usual snobbish BS. He said someday she would be in charge of the house and must conduct herself like a Campero. Fade to reality and Demon asked her if she was alright. She said he seemed much like his grandfather in his manner of sitting in that chair and other mannerisms. He answered “ as long as it was limited to that. I don't want to ruin your life or my mother's.” She asked how things were with him and Helena. He told her all was well. He said she looked worried. She expressed her concern about Pintas and he seemed to think she was not to worry. Aurora brought up that Jezabel knew Pintas and mentioned the memory she had earlier. She asked if Jezabel ever told him about Pintas. He said No. She scrutinized his face as he spoke. [/DS]

Patricia came back with Jezabel, afraid because of the texts. Jezabel also had some and called her an idiot for giving her proper number to Pintas. Patricia denied having done so; Pintas must have looked at her phone. suggested they change their cell numbers. Jezabel liked this idea but it still doesn't tell them what he was up to. Patricia wanted to leave and restart her career but Jezabel did not allow her to leave. She had other tasks in mind.

El Angel de Aurora #97
Part 3 of 3

Next Morning

JC asked Luis about the night before. Luis told him about Mane and JC was happy to hear she was Luis' age... or possibly younger. “I'm changing,” Luis said and JC was satisfied. Elvia arrived for a business matter.
New roses kept arriving at casa Campero from Antonio. Multiple vases followed by a bouquet brought by Antonio himself. Jezabel rolled her eyes. Aurora still denied wanting a relationship, saying Friendzone. Jezabel invaded their conversation to comment on Aurora being a free woman. Patricia wanted to leave. [DS] She continued in this vein but Aurora told her she would not tolerate this and told her to wait in the library for her. After she left Antonio told Aurora he and Elvia were no longer a couple. His feelings for Aurora were obvious.

Elvia wavered between going to the conference alone or with JC. Luis suggested they go together. It looked like Luis was playing matchmaker. [/DS]

At the office Angel told Briana that things went well at the meeting. Demon and Helena arrived. [DS]Demon told Angel that he and Helena were going to be parents. Helena seemed a little caught by surprise, saying they had talked about it. Angel kept his cool, saying he hoped for their happiness, and that he hoped for a family someday but didn't know when. Demon made a comment about Cupid and Briana suggested that she and Angel be the godparents.[/DS]

Vampi argued with Pintas about Guagüi, whose money they had. Pintas looked at and played with the money while swearing revenge on Jezabel and Patricia.

Briana talked about Helena's birthday and maybe celebrate her pregnancy. Helena said she was not pregnant. Demon interrupted her about the new chapter, and kissed her for show. Briana smirked while Angel maintained a poker face.

[DS]Pintas told Vampi he was going after Patricia to get close to Jezabel again.[/DS]

Aurora held the family photo and Jezabel said something about mistakes she made regarding their father. Both sisters felt their relationships with him lacked much. The divorce from Antonio came up and Aurora felt that Miguel must be in some level of Dante's Inferno. Aurora brought up the subject of Juventino. It threw Jezabel off for a minute and she tried to dismiss this as 30 years ago. Aurora became more aggressive in her interrogation. Jezabel tried to lie her way out of this. They needed to go to the foundation event and Jezabel began playing the martyr. then Aurora questioned her about Elvia. Jezabel said it was about investigating Juventino and Teté for the possible “dirty business” she might be involved in and a stalking killer.

Ep 98 will be up before tomorrow morning. I have a bad cold.

Angel/Aurora. Thank you for an extremely helpful recap, Urban. And whoa! There were lots of deletions. Thanks for filling in the blanks and clarifying what happened. I hope you are feeling better.

El angel de aurora

Urban, thank you for an excellent recap that supplied all the details as the clock ticks and the anvils and HEAs start to line up . How many episodes are left ? Susan

Angel/Aurora

Thanks Urban, that was great. It’s hard to believe they leave out so much. Do they just get in a hurry for it to end? I guess they have another show lined up but they should let us watch this one first. Does this mean they’ll be fewer episodes than originally planned?

I’m not impressed with Elvira’s detective skills. Seems like she believes everything Jezabel told her.

Demon announcing they were going to be parents was pretty crazy. Is that his way of pushing Angel to Briana. Or maybe hoping Helena jumps on board. It seems she now realizes Demon is not the key to her happiness.

Liz

Angel / Aurora #97

I had read that there are 126 altogether.

El Angel de Aurora #98
Part 1 of 3 (Includes deleted scenes and fragments)

[DS]It appears that Pintas is now accusing Vampi of betrayal.

The foundation's audience walked in past reporters to be seen on television. Antonio escorted Aurora out. Demon and Helena paused for a question or more we don't hear, and JC looked as though he were completely left out. Jezabel and Elvia talked about investigating Juventino.[/DS]

Cassandra and Edgar talked about Teté. Linette had told her Teté had gone to meet with Jezabel. He had a bad premonition. Cassandra said she hoped his relationship with Teté would get better. He said their relationship had been complicated but was getting better. He then proposed and Cassandra smiled. She said she wanted to marry for the right reasons and not just because she was going to have a baby,

Aurora addressed a meeting of searching mothers and introduced Angel. Everyone in the room was happy except Demon and Jezabel who looked cynical, even dismissive. Aurora introduced Pascual, Anita, and mentioned Vicki. Then Antonio and Helena.

Edgar and Cassandra talked about JC and Cassandra did not want to talk about this. She turned on the TV and breaking news came on. Teté's body was found and identified.

Antonio took the mike and JC was about to leave. Aurora introduced him, saying he was there for her during the bad times. [It should be noted that while Demon and Jezabel stood up as “family” Aurora dis not introduce or credit them with anything].

Edgar freaked out, asking who could have done this.

Aurora took Angel's hand and talked about continuing the work of finding missing children.

Edgar took something out of a first aid kit. Cassandra wrested it away and he said “It was she. Jezabel killed my mother.” He ran out into the garden and knelt on the grass, crying out.

Photos were taken. Aurora said she would continue this work. JC and Luis hugged Aurora and Angel. Helena came up to them to deliver the bad news about Teté, Jezabel feigned shock, with a comment on “what horrible times we live in.” No suspects yet.

[DS]Esperanza and Pepe on the love seat. He proposed. She looked shocked. [Do we really care?]

Maggie and Aquiles talked about her going back to work. Rolando was okay with it; he's going up to the next school level.

More nonsense with Pepe and Esperanza.[/DS]

Rolando took his notebook and the USB drive.

Is Esperanza going to marry Pepe? Palmiro entered saying that Pepe was married [What a relief[. Esperanza chewed him out.

Rolando put the drive into his laptop. A file labeled “Carlos” appeared on the screen. He went out with Maggie, closing the computer.

Patricia said Teté was dead. She wanted to talk to Jezabel alone. Demon was about to leave but Jezabel told him to stay. Patricia told Jezabel that Pintas was looking for her. Jezabel told her to leave. After she did Demon sat down and asked Jezabel if she killed Teté. She admitted it.

[DS]As Patricia left Briana tried to get her attention. She wanted to see Edgar. Angel offered to go with her. Aurora and Antonio came in and called him into Aurora's office.

El Angel de Aurora #98
Part 2 of 3

Elvia and JC had drinks and she told him about her investigation of Teté. He wondered whether the “dirty business” had anything to do with her death. Elvia did not know. She changed the subject to Aurora.[/DS]

Demon was not okay with this. Jezabel said she had to because Teté knew too much and would be a big problem for them. He was shocked at how blasé she was about this and used the word “psychopath.” She called him a coward and said “I am your mother and you have to be on my side.” She said Teté had many enemies. Demon said “You're sick. Very sick,” She had the nerve to say that Aurora was crazy and that someday one of the men around her will kill the other out of jealousy [That sounds like it could be her plan]. She laughed. Demon sounded like he was fed up, warning her she could end up in prison. He was not willing to be involved with this. She slapped him and called him an ingrate.

JC told Elvira he had loved Aurora more than anyone else. She was sure she was right for Antonio. He changed the subject back to the investigation. She told him that Jezabel hired her to investigate Teté.

[DS]Helena entered the conference room and they talked about helping Edgar. Someone said that he and Demon were friends but Angel said thy were just boss and employee. Aurora told the others about the conversation she almost had with Teté about Pintas/Juventino and Jezabel, which had been interrupted by Jezabel, who then argued with Teté about Edgar's involvement in all this. Jezabel was then presented with a lab report on the acid lipstick. Helena said she tried calling Edgar but he did not answer his phone. Helena and Angel as well as Briana were about to look for Edgar but Antonio said it was too risky.

Jezabel apologized for the slap but “It was for your own good,” Demon dismissed that; he was worried about the consequences. She got that and said she had a plan. [DS] She started talking about it just as Edgar barged into her office and went after her, choking her in front of all the others as they ran in. Edgar shouted that Demon was just like Jezabel. Demon said “You have no proof.” Cassandra tried to stop him, then doubled over in pain. Angel carried her out of the office to a couch. Jezabel played the victim, saying Edgar had gone crazy. [DS]Aurora held her head, but exchanged a look with Antonio.

Edgar entered Demon's office, still raging. Demon kept his cool for a minute and told him to leave before he called police. Edgar said “Can't you see she did it? The thing that drives her is the hatred she feels for everyone, especially your Aunt Aurora.” Demon told him to shut up and that he can't say anything against Jezabel. Edgar ignored that, telling Demon that she uses him like a toy, knows nothing of love, doesn't love him (Demon), and uses him. Demon turned that back on him about Teté abandoning him until he became a man who uses women for their money. They fought.

JC and Elvira shared info about Jezabel's cougar tendencies regarding both Edgar and Luis. Elvira concluded that Teté was as displeased with this as JC but still thought there was a connexion between Teté and Juventino. JC looked confused,

The fight stopped but Demon's insults didn't. Edgar swore Jezabel will pay; Demon said he better keep his mouth shut or else. Edgar finally calmed down and walked out.

Helena sat with Cassandra, telling her she needed to get to the clinic. Ed was agitated, saying all the Camperos were toxic, telling Helena she should know what kind of family she married into. He would not allow them to touch Cassandra, whom he then escorted out.[/DS]

El Angel de Aurora #98
Part 3 of 3

[DS]JC saw no connexion between Teté and Pintas. Elvia didn't know whether she was going to continue the investigation. She was still sure Jezabel was not that bad, that she and Aurora are the products of their upbringing. JC conceded that much. She then suggested they go dancing. He smiled and she called the waiter.

The company doctor examined Jezabel and said there was no damage. Aurora wanted to know what happened to cause this. Jezabel said that she and Edgar had been “close” but it was all over. Antonio wasn't satisfied with this, saying that this was too extreme a reaction. Jezabel said “Well, his mother died,” and Aurora pointed out “He accused you of his mother's death.”

Edgar and Cassandra were in the parking lot and she told him not to do such things for the sake of their baby. He said he knew it in his heart. She hugged him, then doubled over in pain again. He calmed down, told her she was right, and led her to his car.

Helena told Angel she felt for Edgar's pain. He knew that pain well but seemed ignorant of Edgar's involvement with Jezabel. Helena found the accusation intense, saying that neither Jezabel nor Demon will take this lying down. Angel was sure Demon knew something.[/DS]

Aurora asked Jezabel why Edgar was carrying on like this and accusing her. Jezabel said Edgar was looking for blame for his mother's questionable activities. Antonio asked why he attacked. Jezabel said that Teté was blaming her for Edgar's attempted suicide. Aurora asked why Teté came to talk to her. Jezabel said that Teté was blaming her. Further, that she was responsible for the acid burns. Antonio asked why she did not report that. Jezabel said that Teté threatened to kill Demon, so what was she supposed to do? Antonio looked like he was not convinced.

I dearly hope that the last 28 episodes don't go like this.

"SIN PECADO CONCEBIDO" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION:
UA, Kat in SC, SpanProf, Weirdo, Darcy & Co.,: Y'all remembered this 2001 Telenovela starring Angelica Rivera, Carlos Ponce, Sergio Goyri & Itati Cantoral ?

Lots of CRAZY in watching today's episode as Crazy Emiliano strangles some gullible idiot to death during a weird mask party on the mansion grounds, etc.,

Angel/Aurora. Excellent recap, Urban. And thank you once again for summarizing the deleted scenes. That clarified a lot--especially what happened to Cassandra immediately after she experienced abdominal pains. Good observation on Aurora's distrust of Jezabel and Demian. And Cassandra is right on about Jezabel's guilt in Tete's murder. Demian is right too; Jezabel is a psychopath, and yep, Liz, Elvia is remarkably innocent about Jezabel--especially considering that she's a private detective.
