Daytime TNs... Y Mas (#1), Week of February 17. 2025
Welcome to page 1 of Daytime TNs! This page is to give those who are watching daytime TNs on any channel a place to discuss the TNs aired prior to 7Pm. If you would like to contribute a recap of just some highlights for a daytime TN, I’m sure there are those who watch the same TNs that would appreciate it.

Angel / Aurora #117
I will start working on # 118 in a few. I'm actually relieved at there being no episode today because I will be out all day tomorrow. The downside of this is the sad likelihood that the last two episodes will be cut to pieces a week from this Friday if there are no more pre-emptions.
To the last comment on the previous daytime page, I think that Pascual is probably afraid to rat Pintas out. He did threaten his life and Anita's several episodes ago. There would also be the risk that his current break with reality could be held against him. Mexico's witness protection is now in limbo, so the only protection he could have would be leaving the country for as long as necessary.
I am also worried about the prospect of them being in the Campero mansion with Jezabel and her hellspawn.

Part 1 of 3 (Including deleted scenes and fragments)
[DS] After Briana marked her territory and gloated Angel said that his father and sister were moving in with Aurora for their safety. Helena said nothing.
Patricia somehow opened the door despite it being behind her and started to back out. Pintas got up and kept his pistol aimed at her. Each insulted the other with him getting the prize for saying that she was a fourth-rate actress who would not be able to convince anyone she wasn't Jezabel's accomplice. He looked about to shoot as she disappeared from his sight. [There seemed to be a possible witness passing by.] Vampi closed the door, saying they needed to run for it. Pintas did not think so; she was a snake without venom. “If she rats me out she will go down with me.” He did not want to run for it, as he had ideas about claiming Gabriel “who needs a paternal figure.” [Could he be any more delusional?] Vampi looked incredulous and almost like he wished he were anywhere else. [/DS]
Antonio was sure the provocation in the video was ordered by Demon and Jezabel was trying to cover that up. Aurora's phone rang. Angel told her his father came home. He asked Aurora if her offer still stood for them to stay at the mansion because he was concerned for their safety. She said Yes and that she and Antonio would come to get them. Antonio said they would be right over.
[DS] Anita saw Helena out. She was just as sad as Helena at the prospect of Angel marrying Briana. [/DS]
Angel packed a suitcase while wondering why being with Helena became so difficult. Pintas had the nerve to call him. Angel made it clear he wanted nothing to do with him. After ending the call he swore that Pintas will pay for everything he has done.
[DS] Helena told Anita she couldn't do anything, but Anita did not want her to give up. She knew that Angel loved her but that Briana was kissing up to their father and Angel always wanted to please his father. She told Helena not to give up hope.
Pintas told Vampi that nobody was going to die that night but he intended to deal with Jezabel the next day.
Next Day
Luis hugged JC who told him that after losing his other son and almost him he was despondent. He had felt shame because he could not save his other son. Luis told him he should not blame himself for what wasn't his fault. He then admitted his bad behaviour before and said he loved him. They agreed to take care of each other. [DS] Luis didn't want to go in fear, pointing out that he had friends and a girlfriend. JC understood this but pointed out that there would be danger in staying as long as the kidnappers were at large. He emphasized that he had to identify them.[/DS]
Pascual and Anita moved into the mansion. Aurora told them that if they needed anything they were to ask her or Carmelita. Briana put her two pesos in on that; Angel said she did not need to, and Pascual said he was eternally grateful for what she had done. Aurora took Angel aside to ask why he was still with Briana. He was a little embarrassed to say he couldn't and she said they would talk about it later.
Pintas screeched for help. Vampi returned with groceries and found him. He eventually shouted Edgar's name before passing out.
[DS] Antonio and Helena sat in the conference room. She told him that Angel had not broken up with Briana and that Pascual blamed her(self) for all the bad things that had been happening to Angel. She was sure that Briana was manipulating this. Antonio explained that years ago Jezabel manipulated him about Aurora and she should not make the same mistake he did. He told her to fight for the love of her life. [/DS]
Demon wanted Jezabel, Aurora, and Angel out of his life. He flashed back to the demand to kill Angel, then broke the framed picture of Jezabel and himself. Patricia walked in looking for Jezabel. He ordered her out of his office or he would call security. She said if anything happened to her because of Pintas, Jezabel would go down with her. Demon put the phone back.
Pepe was in the office [Why?] Aquiles entered dressed out of uniform because it was his day off. Jezabel came in and Aquiles entered her office to request a job for Pepe. She made a comment about his hands and asked him to give her a massage. She made some comment about a nickname (“Mami”) to use when they're alone. She then said this was a joke.
[DS] Helena and Antonio talked about the video and the possibility that Edgar was involved. Antonio had found out that Edgar was involved in the near-destruction of his company and Edgar was Demon's only accomplice. He had to get the arrest warrant changed and they had to find out about Demon's involvement. [/DS]
JC told Aurora about Luis' current condition and that he needed to get therapy again. The urgent thing was the message about Patricia being a killer. Also that she was helping Pintas. He showed her the text. While the text was useful it wasn't proof ad they needed to know the nature of the connexion.
[DS] Demon told Patricia that if she was his mother's accomplice she should seduce Pintas. Patricia did not agree to this. She told him that now Jezabel fools around with guys his age but that she did Pintas because of what he did to Aurora, so he could be the son of Pintas and not Fabrizio, She then told him that was a joke. He was not amused and would not leave. She wanted Jezabel's help in preventing JC from denouncing her. She knew that he was also his mother's accomplice. [/DS]

Pintas was on an operating table, [DS] but not in a hospital. Like in a gangster movie a doctor of questionable ethics attended him under the watchful eyes of Edgar, Linette, and Vampi. He said “He's stable, but it's very serious. Whoever put the weapon in did as much damage as possible.” He went on to say that he could live but there was organ damage. Edgar wanted Pintas alive so the doctor was now under threat. Vampi handed over an instrument. [/DS]
Jezabel told Aqulies to stop. She kissed him.
Glorio and the others became concerned about Aquiles being alone with Jezabel. [DS] Antonio came in and they introduced him to Pepe. Luis was also there. Antonio told them he was looking for Aquiles. When told he was in Jezabel's office he said he would wait. Luis tried to tell him something only to be interrupted by Angel's arrival. He was there to see Demon, but a secretary said Demon was occupied. Antonio told him he had to talk to Helena. Who then came out of her office. Angel wanted to settle the issue of the video first. Antonio and Helena ran after him,
Demon was still trying to get Patricia out of his office. She took the USB drive out of her purse saying he would see what his mother was up to. [DS] Angel entered with Helena and Antonio behind him. Antonio restrained Angel when he got close enough to Demon to do some damage. [/DS]
JC told Aurora about what Luis heard. Pascual said he was lost but this didn't make sense. Aurora said they needed to rest. She asked about Luis. JC told Aurora that he and Luis will leave Mexico... permanently, She was part of the reason.
Demon tried to taunt Angel about being the son of Pintas. Antonio stepped in between them ordering Demon to shut up. Angel calmly told him that living in the barrio made him the person he is. Demon ordered Patricia to leave; she did (with the USB drive). Finally Helena got between them saying they were family and should not be destroying each other.
Aurora asked why not somewhere closer. JC said he had family in Italy and that is what Luis needs now. Aurora was sad he was leaving but asked him not to leave without saying goodbye.
Demon got insulting again. Helena told Demon that Angel did not “steal” her love. Antonio told Demon not to pursue a woman who doesn't love him. Angel finally told him that he knew why Demon hated him. “You aren't the rich one here. The rich one is me because I an surrounded by people who love me.” He continued that he was raised by loving parents who taught him principles and he would claim Antonio as his father, Antonio who had been one of Jezabel's victims. Demon's face showed that Angel had hit a nerve.
Aquiles tried getting Jezabel to talk about Carlos. Nothing significant yet.

Angel/Aurora. Good one, Urban! And a wonderfully clear and clarifying summary as usual. Anita is such a wise child! She definitely has both Briana's and Angel's numbers. She's sensible about staying at Aurora's as well. Whoa! Jezabel is just about as willing to stab someone as breathe. I'm glad you clarified where and from whom Pintas received medical care. In the televised version it was hard to tell. Somehow I bet that JC and Luis don't go to Italy.

I missed yesterday's broadcast because I fell asleep during my last infusion.
This means I could be more behind than last week. I can't skip any because of the slicing and dicing at this point in the story. Bear with me on this.
Jezabel has become more unhinged while we're entering the home stretch. There has been no mention of any security cameras in the building Pintas lives in. This will mean he can't be caught until the finale.
Monday's pre-emption increases the likelihood of a chopped-up finale on Friday the 28th. Since novela finales typically have higher fees for ads there could be more scenes removed. That happened in prime time with Pasion y Poder where the Karmgeddon of a supporting character was removed and we had to hunt for the episode online. And that was three episodes in a three-hour time slot.
Novela fans should be burying Univision in emails over this. If anyone here writes to them we should not mention this blog,

Aquiles got up and replied to Jezabel's last question about Carlos “Well, ma'am, I think you better tell me which cockroach you just killed.” She smiled at this.
Patricia stepped back from the conference room door. Antonio, Helena, and Angel out without seeing her. They entered another room as the Lunch Crew watched and speculated on what was going on. They were especially worried about Aquiles. Glorio wanted to stop this but the others held him back.
Aquiles was still in Jezabel's office when Patricia barged in saying “You don't know what happened in Demon's office.” She then notices Aquiles, and said she wanted to talk alone with Jezabel. He turned around and left without protest, closing the door behind him. The others in reception bombarded him with questions. He shooed them out of reception without answering.
Patricia tried telling her about Pintas' holding her at gunpoint and JC's suspicions and his offer to defend her if she fessed up. Jezabel was not interested, telling her she had to resolve the Pintas situation on her own. She opened the door saying she could not be bothered with her issues. Patricia closed the door asking “You think it's that easy to get rid of me?” Then she threatened and became insulting in Jezabel's style. When Jezabel raised her gloved hand at her Patricia grabbed it and noticed a reaction. Then she did something stupid: She took out the USB drive and said it was a pre-suicide confession [She should have given that to JC. I doubt she was smart enough to save it on the cloud].
Antonio said they needed to wait for the lawyers. Luis followed them in and needed to talk to Antonio. They stepped away and Angel had to tell Helena he was unable to break with Briana but that she was still the love of his life. Luis told Antonio that he thought Jezabel was involved in the kidnapping of Antonio.
In his office JC opened a book to see a wedding photo of himself and Aurora and flashed back to the kiss and to numerous others [For Natalia Esperón's sake I hope Rafael Novoa is a good kisser].
He thought to himself that he needed to allow more time.
Por supuesto, Aurora was having the same experience. She finally wished he would not leave.
Luis told Antonio that one of the kidnappers at something inappropriate said “it's a joke” exactly like Jezabel does. Also, he had heard Pascual's voice begging for water as he was taken out of the area. He explained he didn't tell police out of fear of his and his father's lives. Antonio said that the “joke” was on him or his father but this had to be addressed quickly.
JC told his secretary to transfer all his appointment to Marco and cancel the remaining ones for the day. He had total faith in Marcos regarding Antonio's appointment.
Aurora was confused as she sat down on the park bench.
JC realized he could never forget Aurora.
Luis and Antonio continued talking about this horrible situation. Luis feared for his, his father's and Pascual's lives because he knew that Jezabel was capable of manipulating anyone. Antonio wanted to stop her. Luis told him that he could protect Aurora from Jezabel but his father couldn't because he was looking to leave Mexico forever.
Jezabel looked at the video of Carlos and asked Patricia where she got it. She said it was in Angel's house. However the kid who found it had not seen the video. The folder carried the name “Carlos,” At this point Jezabel's gloved hand must have been in pain, as she was holding it in her right. Patricia took Jezabel's checkbook out of the sideboard and told her she needed to write a big check to her so she could hire a good lawyer other than JC because this video implicates Jezabel as one who provoked a suicide which is regarded as murder.

Luis told Antonio that he thought Jezabel was involved in the kidnapping of Antonio.
In his office JC opened a book to see a wedding photo of himself and Aurora and flashed back to the kiss and to numerous others [For Natalia Esperón's sake I hope Rafael Novoa is a good kisser].
He thought to himself that he needed to allow more time.
Por supuesto, Aurora was having the same experience. She finally wished he would not leave.
Luis told Antonio that one of the kidnappers at something inappropriate said “it's a joke” exactly like Jezabel does. Also, he had heard Pascual's voice begging for water as he was taken out of the area. He explained he didn't tell police out of fear of his and his father's lives. Antonio said that the “joke” was on him or his father but this had to be addressed quickly.
JC told his secretary to transfer all his appointment to Marco and cancel the remaining ones for the day. He had total faith in Marcos regarding Antonio's appointment.
Aurora was confused as she sat down on the park bench.
JC realized he could never forget Aurora.
Luis and Antonio continued talking about this horrible situation. Luis feared for his, his father's and Pascual's lives because he knew that Jezabel was capable of manipulating anyone. Antonio wanted to stop her. Luis told him that he could protect Aurora from Jezabel but his father couldn't because he was looking to leave Mexico forever.
Jezabel looked at the video of Carlos and asked Patricia where she got it. She said it was in Angel's house. However the kid who found it had not seen the video. The folder carried the name “Carlos,” At this point Jezabel's gloved hand must have been in pain, as she was holding it in her right. Patricia took Jezabel's checkbook out of the sideboard and told her she needed to write a big check to her so she could hire a good lawyer other than JC because this video implicates Jezabel as one who provoked a suicide which is regarded as murder.

Aquiles told the others what happened before he left Jezabel's office. He was interrupted multiple times by Pepe. Maggie pretended not to be angry at Aquiles playing James Bond. [As this was an attempt at humor I dearly hope that Aquiles will not be the sacrificial lamb next week]/
Jezabel – who is right-handed – seemed to have trouble writing the check so she gave up. Patricia asked what was wrong but she evaded the question. Patricia asked why the USB drive was found in Angel's home Jezabel did not know. A cell phone rang that was in her drawer. She opened it with a key coder and realized that the music box was taken.
Aurora went to JC's office and begged him not to leave Mexico, saying he was very important to her. She was important to him also but had to think of his and Luis's safety. She suggested they go to live in her house in Las Flores which is beautiful and where Luis can get over his trauma [Stupid on her part because Jezabel has a long reach]. He said that her decision to be with Antonio broke his heart so there was no reason to stay.
Angel saw Helena packing a suitcase, closed the door to Demon's room, and they kissed.
Aquiles explained his plan to seduce Jezabel until he had her in the palm of his hand. Everyone laughed. He told Pepe he would become his eyes and ears [But are there eyes and ears in that room?].
Helena asked why he didn't break up with Briana. He said it was a promise. Helena came back with Briana's betrayal. She wondered whether his father might have influenced this decision. Stalemate here.
Aurora pointed out that JC had initiated the divorce. He admitted that this was about his insecurity because despite the passage of time Aurora was not over Antonio. He has deserted her back in the day but she had never closed the door on that. She left his office.
Helena was not going to deal with Angel marrying Briana and refused to sacrifice her own happiness any longer. She pushed past him out the door. Demon walked in as she got to the foot of the stairs, saying he wanted to talk to her. She didn't and he viciously kicked her suitcase well out of her reach. He said she had no options and that he intended to be in his child's life all the time. She refused to have her child exposed to his violence [which had then escalated]. He sarcastically told her to run but she would not get away from him. She said she did not want him in her or her child's life as least of all his mother. She retrieved her suitcase and made it out the door.
As Patricia looked at the USB drive Briana flashed back to her last conversation with Edgar, whose most important statement was that Angel did not love her and how difficult this would make her life.
Angel came in downstairs and flashed back to the conversation where Briana evaded the question about how she found Pascual and told the lie that she and Demon only kissed that one time. She said she would understand if he broke their engagement. He said he loved Helena. She became pathetic, eventually saying that he was another love Helena took way from her. Angel tried telling her that she was good, noble, etc., but Helena took nothing from her. After what looked like a long thought she told him she had the same condition as his mother [This does look suspiciously like a manipulative lie]. She said she didn't have much time left and nobody knew except her mother who didn't want her to tell him so as to not ruin her happiness. Angel replied not to lie about such things because he would never forgive her. She took out her cell and called Dr Mentirola for the test results and he said he would have that tomorrow. After ending the call she went into the usual pathetics of the situation and hugged him.

Angel's thoughts vanished when Demon yelled at him that he will not allow him to be in charge of his son. He threw a glass in Angel's general direction and ordered him and his family out of the house.
Briana said that all's fair in love and war. She flashed back to Edgar. The idea for this nightmare situation seemed to have come from him and Patricia. He would make the arrangements. Briana was hesitant because of the possibility of exposure. He would hate her for this. Edgar suggested that she would hate it more if he married Helena and she would end up being the loving old maid aunt to their children. In the present she told Patricia she was not taking her advice anymore. She pinched Patricia's right shoulder very hard before leaving the room.
Helena stood near the fountain saying to her future child that she would keep them safe. Antonio came home and Helena told him that Angel did not end it with Briana. A few questions later she told her father that she decided to fight just for herself and her child. Aurora came and told them that JC can't leave Mexico because she wanted him to stay.
Pintas was under anaesthesia while undergoing underworld surgery. Edgar sent Linette to the bar with instructions to tell no one but to get his thugs to stand by. “Whatever you say,” She left. Edgar told Vampi he had to leave when the surgery was over. Vampi said No because Pintas owed him much dinero. [That figures] The cell in Vampi's pocket rang. Edgar told him to leave it alone. The call came from Elvia's phone. Her voice came over it. She said he better take her calls and ordered him not to hide. She called him a damned delinquent. Vampi ended the call. Edgar asked the doctor if he was done. He would know in a while but said he had more lives than a cat.
Angel and Demon argued, as usual, and it came to Angel grabbing Demon by the lapels for insulting his family. He shoved him back.
Helena told her father she didn't want to be there. Aurora said that if she and JC had moved to Las Flores none of this would have happened. Antonio commented that this meant she would be living comfortably with a millionaire and his son. He followed Helena up the stairs as Aurora walked out the door. He stopped to look, her words ringing in his mind.
Aurora broke up the fight between Angel and Demon. Demon said he didn't want the odor of the barrio in his house and on his things; Aurora reminded him he had an apartment he could go back to. The argument continued. Jezabel heard it from the library but took no action. Demon continued his insults. Aurora got between them. Jezabel smashed the framed photo of Vicki against the fireplace grill before going out to enjoy the fight. Demon really hut below the belt by telling Angel that Antonio used him to get Aurora back after having abandoned her 30 years ago. Of course this provoked ugly words between Aurora and Jezabel. Aurora told Demon she had loved him as a child and didn't like what she was seeing now. Jezabel asked if Demon had been aggressive as Aurora and Angel found the picture on the library floor,
Demon ran into the library and slugged Angel, then verbally provoked him to do the same. Both women held their sons back.
Antonio called JC who told him that the charges against Jezabel and Demon will go through. Antonio asked when he was leaving Mexico but JC ended the call.
JC came down the stairs as Elvia entered the house. She quickly told him she knew where Pintas was hiding.
Demon continued to provoke Angel. Aurora told him to stop being a lout. The insults continued up to Aurora saying they are to show respect in her house.
