Eva Luna #109 Fri 4/8/11
Eva and Leo join Justa and Julio at the hospital. Julio tells them that Victoria is in a coma. She was running from the police and lost control of the vehicle. He then tells Leo that Justa is Victoria’s real mother. What asks Leo? Julio tells him that Renata didn’t tell anyone this secret for years. But he’ll explain more about it later. Eva confesses to Leo that Renata told her everything, but felt that it was best that he heard it from Julio instead. Leo says he can’t believe that Victoria’s not his sister. Julio says he finds that comment odd. Victoria told him and Justa that Leo is the one that told her she was adopted.
Renata admits to Tia that she stole Victoria from her sister and gave her to Marcella.
Leo admits that he told her, but thought that Marcella only told him that when Victoria was going crazy. I completely forgot about it. Well Victoria didn’t says Julio. She went to visit Marcella in jail to find out. And Marcella confirmed it. But there’s another thing. Your mother did not adopt Victoria, she and Renata stole her. They did it because Victoria is my daughter and Justa’s.
Tony is waiting for a delivery.
Jackie tells herself not to believe in Francisco. She remembers his kiss and then his apology for kissing her.
Francisco tells Laurita that he told Jackie how much he loves her and needs her, but she didn’t believe him. Laurita says she’s just scared. Of what asks Francisco? Laurita says Jackie told her once that he made her believe that he cared for her then went back to Marisol. You’re an idiot. Leo and Eva can’t believe what Renata has done. Julio tells Eva he realizes everything that Victoria has done to her. He is not excusing her behavior but he and Justa want to ask her a favor. If the good lord sees fit to save Victoria would she consider dropping all charges against her? Please? I will make sure that my daughter seeks the help that she needs. Of course replies Eva. I can’t deny you anything. You have always been good to me. The doctor arrives to tell them that they moved Victoria to a private room. Justa asks if Victoria is out of the coma. Has she woken up?
Tony says if you are going to kill me then tell me who paid you. Of course I’m going to tell you. Its part of my job replies the bad guy. It was El Gallo right asks Tony. The bad guy laughs and says El Gallo has nothing to do with this. Then who asks Tony.
The doctor informs Justa that her daughter is still in a coma. Justa gets upset. Leo pretends to care. Julio wants to see her.
Tony asks if it was Leo. Of course it was says Tony. The bad guy says he has a message from Leo. That nobody makes a fool of him and lives to tell says the bad guy. Tony grabs the gun and they struggle.
Alicia has a bad dream and wakes up yelling Tony’s name. She feels bad for being ugly with him.
Eva asks if Victoria will recuperate soon. The doctor doesn’t know. Julio begs him to do whatever. Justa cries at her bedside.
Alicia holds the bear that Tony gave her and recalls the time Tony gave it to her. She remembers him telling her that he loves her and her child. And that he wants to marry her. Alicia acknowledges that Tony has been good to her but perhaps it’s too late.
Tony and the bad guy are still struggling for the gun. Tony kicks him and grabs him by the throat. They keep struggling and Tony kicks him again. More struggling and the gun goes off. The bad guy is hit.
Tia asks Renata that she and Justa are sisters. Yes replies Renata. And you still did what you did asks Tia. I know what I did was wrong replies Renata. And everything that Victoria has done is mostly my fault. I should never have denied her the right to grow up next to her real mother. Marcella used Victoria for her own purposes says Tia. Yes agrees Renata. And none of that would have happened had not allowed it. But I swear I have repented.
The bad guy gets shot in the stomach. Tony freaks out and looks like he wants to help him. The bad guy reaches for the gun and as Tony runs off shoots at him.
Tia tells Renata she is no one to judge her. For years she was the one who caused her nieces not to know their mother. I know what it is to repent and ask for forgiveness. I appreciate your words replies Renata, but at least you know that Eva and Alicia are happy. But I think my repentance arrived too late. Don’t say that says Tia. My sister is suffering in the hospital while her daughter lies in a coma. Tia suggests that they pray together for Victoria to be saved.
Tony is still running with the bad guy chasing him and firing his gun.
Leo is still playing the good guy card and telling Julio that even though he and Victoria are not blood related he will always love her like a sister. Julio tells him how happy that makes him and that love should never change. Julio tells Leo that he always made sure that he loved them both the same so that they would be raised like real siblings. Leo assures Julio that while growing up he always felt that Julio loved him like he was his real son. Just like Victoria. Eva tells Julio that she’s taking Justa to get some fresh air. As they leave, Daniel and Liliana arrive.
Tony is running for his life and hides in some trees. The bad guy finds him though and points the gun to his head. Tony knows his numbers up but makes a run for it anyway. The bad guy hits him in the back of the head with the gun and tells him he’s now going to die.
Daniel and Liliana come to find out how Victoria is doing. Leo gets his angry face on and wants to find out what Daniel is doing there. Julio tells him to calm down. Daniel is still Victoria’s husband and he has the right to know what’s going on with her. Leo says he the reason that Victoria has lost her mind. Daniel says that’s not true. Leo gets in Daniel’s face and says she wouldn’t be in that bed if you hadn’t asked her for a divorce. And you also pressed charges against her. You don’t care what happens to her.
Deborah tells her assistant that she worries about her daughters. Eva is marrying a man she doesn’t love. Then Alicia is pregnant and is scared for anyone to know who the father of her baby is.
Liliana the fake tells Leo how awful she feels about what’s going on with Victoria. Leo the fake tells her to pray. I have been since I found out replies Liliana. Daniel asks Julio if he could speak with Victoria’s doctor. Of course replies Julio. That way I can explain to you what Justa is doing here. I figured she was here with Eva says Daniel. After Tia and Renata finish praying they are going to retire when Tia asks if Renata knows if Alicia’s awake. Renata says she was still asleep when she checked on her awhile back. Tia is worried that she hasn’t eaten especially in her delicate states. What do you mean asks Renata? Tia tells her that Alicia is pregnant. Renata promises to watch over her. Tia asks her if she knows who could be the father of Alicia’s baby. Renata says she doesn’t have a clue.
Liliana can’t believe the story that Leo just told her about Victoria’s being stolen from her real mother after birth. Leo also tells her that Eva agreed to marry him in a week. Liliana tells him that Daniel has extended his offer for her to live at his house. Now all that needs to happen is for Victoria to die so that Daniel becomes a widow, Eva stays married to you and Daniel proposes marriage to me. Leo is happy that she agreed to take this job. They give each other a celebratory kiss. Victoria wakes up and sees this. She is horrified just like we are.
Renata wonders who the father of Alicia baby is.
Liliana and Leo keep planning on how to keep Eva and Daniel apart. Unfortunately for them Victoria hears all this.
Tony appears at El Gallo’s office.
Julio tells Justa he just finished telling Daniel everything. He has also agreed to drop all charges. Justa thanks him. Daniel says if it wasn’t for Eva who knows what would have happened. Liliana tells Daniel that seeing Victoria has dropped her sugar levels. Would he accompany her to the cafeteria? Of course replies Daniel. Eva is jealous.
Renata recalls the scene she came across of Leo and Alicia making out. Renata says Leo is the father.
Tony tells El Gallo that Leo sent out a hit man to kill him.
Victoria realizes that both Leo and Liliana betrayed her. But when I get out, I will seek revenge against them both.
El Gallo asks Tony if he’s sure. Yes, especially now that I know Leo is the one that asked for this favor. El Gallo can’t believe it. And he’s really upset.

I hate to tell you this, but I think you are not facing reality replies Liliana. That marriage is wrong says Daniel. What’s wrong is thinking that Eva loves you replies Liliana. Renounce her love. Alicia tells Tia that she had a dream that Tony was in danger and died. Tia asks again if Tony is the father of her baby. Alicia assures her he’s not.
Daniel tells Liliana that he will not renounce Eva. Once he proves to Eva that it was Leo and not him who killed her father she’ll cancel the wedding. And how are you going to prove it asks Liliana. Tony tells El Gallo that he wants to find Leo and finish him himself. El Gallo says don’t you dare. Tony points out that when Leo finds out he’s still alive he’ll send someone else to do the job. Laurita is talking on the phone with Adrian over the Jackie/Francisco situation. There’s a shadow in the hallway listening to Laurita talk.
Marcella says tomorrow she will leave this prison.

Laurita gets off the phone quickly because Francisco overheard her conversation with Adrian. He tells her that anyone can hear her conversation. He closes the door. He has a plan and needs her help. Laurita is all ears.

Justa is sleeping in a chair. Victoria wakes up and remembers hearing the news for the first time. Justa sees her awake.

Leo arrives at work and is greeted by El Gallo and friends. El Gallo tells him that the job didn’t go well last night and something bad happened to Tony. Leo says that sucks. El Gallo says that they need to talk about that.
Eva says she doesn’t have to give him explanations. Daniel says you can’t marry him. Eva tells Daniel he is no one to prohibit her. Eva asks “Who did you sleep with last night?” Dan says “What are you saying?” Eva replies “Are you going to deny that you slept with Lilly?” Dan tells her he doesn’t know where she got that idea and yes there is something I want to explain to you.” Eva cuts him off and says “I know exactly what I saw.” Dan asks her what did she see.. Eva tells him “Your dear Lilly called me last night and asked me to come over to talk.” Dan says “Talk about what.” Eva “A topic very important, woman to woman. And when I got there Jacky sent me to her room and I saw you in her bed” Dan is bugged eyed.
Jacky is chewing Fran out for telling the gardener that she had a dark secret past and that the men who go out with her suddenly disappear and if he goes out with her he will also disappear. Fran tries to deny this and Jacky calls him a liar.
Oh I forgot about this part, Leo is choking the life out of Lilly. She manages to free herself and tells him to never put a hand on her again. Tempers are flaring as Leo says waving his finger angrily in her face “Do you think you are looking at the face of an idiot? Nobody betrays me Lilly!!!!” (This looks like an angry idiot’s face to me.)
Lilly pushing his hand aside tells him she had nothing to do with what crazy Vicky did. Leo walks away from her as Lilly continues to say that Vicky is out of her mind and is talking pure nonsense . He asks her where did Vicky come up with the story about the place Lilly had her hid out at. Lilly overacting denies this and tells Leo she is incapable of doing such a thing. Then she tells Leo that Vicky is worse off than she thought. Leo tells her he doesn’t believe her one bit.
Fran is apologizing to Jacky and tells her he didn’t think she really wanted to go out with that guy. Jacky tells him he is really dumb and she’s not upset because of that. She is upset because he will never mature. Then she says how could she ever forget that he was an expert in lying and starts to walk away. Fran tells her not to leave. She asks if he wants her to stay so he can keep lying to her? He tells her the only thing he wants to do is beg her forgiveness. He tells her she was right he told the guy all that stuff.
Renata tells Justa that she has something very serious to tell her. Justa doing the suffering women bit tells her she hopes she didn’t come over to talk about Julio again. She tells Renata that story is over with for good. She doesn’t want to even talk about the subject. Renata tells her she understands she doesn’t want to know anything about Julio but she is wrong. The story between her and Julio is not over. Justa shaking her head tells Renata the person who is wrong is her. Their story is in the past. She tells she is living happily in the present with Ricardo and Adrian. Then she tells Renata not to take it the wrong way but it would be best if she leaves. Poor Renata tells her it has already been 20 years in the making and it is now time for her to know the truth.
Dan must have told Eva what happened the night before to his understanding. He tells her he doesn’t know how he ended up in Lilly’s bed. Eva looks at him and asks if he thinks she is so stupid as to believe such an outrageous thing. Dan tells her it may sound crazy but it is the truth. He tells her he has been trying to figure it out and the only thing he can think of is the drink was stronger than he thought and since he was so tired he lost consciousness. Eva smarts back “ Oh and for certain she put you in her bed and took advantage of you? You poor thing.” Than she slams her hand down on the table and says “Look Dan you don’t even believe that!!” Dan tells her he’s not saying that is what happened but he doesn’t know what happened. Eva now standing and very ticked off says “I saw you two together and no one can tell me differently, and later Lilly told me that you two were in a relationship.” Dan tells her she was lying and he doesn’t know why she would say that and he is going to go ask her right now. He storms out looking for Lilly and we can almost see dragon fire flaming out of Eva’s nose.
Lilly now acting all hurt approaches Leo and sweetly asks him how he could think such awful things about her. She attempts to touch his face and Leo pulls away with anger and tells her he doesn’t trust anyone. She calls him unjust and from the start she has done nothing that would cause him to distrust her. He tells her he believed that but once he talked to Vicky, and Lilly interrupts him telling him Vicky is a liar and a manipulator. And that he is all confused because of her crazy antics. The only thing Vicky is doing is looking for justification for all the crazy stuff she has done so everyone will forgive her and continue to believe her. Leo pauses for a moment to think this over. He tells her he doesn’t know which one of the two of them is trying to justify their actions.
Lilly calls him obstinate (terco/ obstinate or stubborn) and says his sister is sick in the head and all she wants to do is hurt every one and nothing has been going right for her. Fran is left scratching at his head saying “I sure put my foot in that one.” as Adrian and Laurita come out from hiding and Laurita says “Ya think?” Fran asks if they heard everything. They both stand their looking quite guilty as Fran calls them little gossips.
Fran turns from them and still scratching his head says “Now what do I do? How do I fix this?”

He now gets closer and has changed his tone as he sweetly asks her to tell him more. (I am gagging bile her) Lilly tells him of course. She swears that Eva left convinced that Daniel cared for her (Lily). Leo congratulates her and tells her that her plan went great even better than his plan at the cabin. He kisses her again and tells her that anyone that ever saw the pictures from the cabin would believe that they made love. He tells her it was a great plan but she is much braver than him She asks him now if he has any doubts in her. He tells her now that she has achieved her goal not to let any thing go wrong. They have to play their cards smartly now. She tells him that he can count on the fact that her and Dan will get married. Even if she has to ask him. He tells her the only thing that matters is that Dan marries her.
Renata and Justa are now sitting down as Renata turns to her and tells her she is responsible for her misfortune (desdicha .) She is responsible for all her pain and nightmares. Justa looks very confused and asks “My nightmares what are you trying to tell me?” Renata says “You were right. Your child wasn’t stillborn like I made you believe. Your child was born alive.” Justa’s eyes bug out as her jaw drops.
Lily goes to Dan’s office. She asks him if he has remembered the wonderful night that they had together yesterday. She slinks over to sit beside him and Dan quickly gets up and tells her no. She tells him she hopes it gets through his cloudy mind soon because for her it was a great night. Dan tells her he thinks she doesn’t have it very clear about what happened last night either. Lilly looks puzzled and asks why he would say that. He tells her he just talked to Eva and she told him that she (lily) called and asked her to come over to the house so she could see them together.
Renata tells Justa that she did hear her baby cry when she was born and that she lied to her telling her she was stillborn. Justa having a difficult time with this news asks her why she would do such a thing. Renata tells her so she could steal her baby. Justa quickly stands and moves away from Renata. She tells her she took her to that clinic to help Marcella with her plan. She tells her that neither one of them wanted her to have Julio’s baby. And they teamed up to take it away from her. Poor Justa is stumbling around in disbelief. She turns and asks her how she could do something like that to her, her sister. She tells her it was because she was jealous of her and hated her because she had Julio’s love and wanted to hurt her. Justa now in full out rage asks “Where is my daughter!”
Said daughter is visiting the family Mafioso. She is asking for his help. She needs a fake ID and a car so she can go visit her murderous mama in prison. He smiles and tells her to sit on down.
Lilly tells Dan it is true. Eva came to the house and saw them together in bed. Dan looks dumbified as he asks her why she never told him any of that. Lily tells him she forgot. Dan says “For gods sake Lily, you left the bed and went to talk to Eva, and even told her we were in a relationship.” Lily with a straight face tells him “Yes I told her that, and do you know why? Because we just finished making love. And that’s what I believed.” Dan now trying to sort this out says “ Did you plan all this out for her to see us together in bed.” Lilly acting all offended says “Of course not!!” Dan then says “How could you forget to tell me something that important?” She tells him it was because she was so upset that he didn’t remember anything that happened the night before and she was very disillusioned and hurt she goes to say “Excuse me for not thinking to tell you about Eva at that moment.” She says “If you really think I could do something like that than maybe it’s best if you kick me out of your house. You shouldn’t have any problems in doing that.” and she leaves acting all the injured party. Dan isn’t looking any smarter at this moment as he watches her leave.
Renata is continuing her sage with Justa. She tells her she gave her baby to Marcella. Justa just about has a stroke as she says “That woman? What did she do with my baby? If she hurt her I am capable of..” and Renata stops her and says “No she raised her as if she were hers.” She tells her Victoria is her daughter.
Justa says “Your telling me my daughter is Victoria Arismendi?” Renata confirms this as the melodrama gets very thick. Then she tells her she is the only one responsible for how things turned out. Because she took her from her and permitted Marcella to raise her in her likeness. (criara a su semejanza)
Back to Fran and his cohorts. Adrian asks if his face hurts from Jacky slapping him. Laurita says Jacky is mad at him. Adrian says she is really mad. Fran tells him he can’t give up now and the kids urge him on and their little plan continues. He has to let her know he cares for her and he hopes she doesn’t turn him down. (This was a cute little scene with the kids trying to build up his confidence to go after Jacky.)
Vicky gets in her new car and is off to see mama. In the meantime. Justa is justifiably going off on Renata. She says “You destroyed my life and that of my child and all for hate and for spite and hate that I don’t deserve.” Renata says “I know and I understood it the day they told us you died in the earthquake. The guilt I had to endure with all I had done but I didn’t have any other choice. And Julio loved Victoria as if she were his daughter so I decided to keep quiet for ever. Until the day I saw you alive than all my regrets returned and since than I haven’t been able to sleep in peace.” Justa turns to her and asks her pleadingly “Where is my daughter now? I want to see her. I want her to know that I am her mother.” Renata tells her she was at Julio’s place but she left.
Cue Victoria who is on her own road towards the truth.
(I know I am one of the few Tony fans out there, but I thought this was the best part of the night. “sweet” bad boy Tony versus “monster” bad boy Leo. You know who I am rooting for.) Tony enters Leo’s office.
He says he was told that Leo wanted to talk to him. He tells him to close the door. Tony asks him what he wanted. Leo tells him he wants to talk about his future. Tony says “My future?” Leo tells him he is going to tell him what he needs to do if he wants to keep on living. Tony gives him the look.
Vicky is escorted to the visitors room at the prison and timidly sits down at Marcella’s table. She doesn’t seem all that excited to see Vicky as she says “I knew it was you. It is about time you showed up.” She says “Even though I knew Claudia Jimenez was dead, only you could come up with taking that name to hide under.” Vicky tells her that El Gallo helped come up with the fake identity.” Marcella asks her why she came.
She tells her to clear up something. Leo told her she was adopted and she wants her to tell her that it isn’t true. Marcella looks at her with disdain as she says “ And here I thought you came to help me and to offer understanding.” Vicky is crying and says “tell me it isn’t true. Tell me I am your daughter” Marcella looks smug as she says to her “Leo was right . You are not my daughter.’
Vicky is still crying as she says she can’t be adopted. “I know I am your daughter and you are my mother.” Marcella stares at her with the eyes of a cold hearted murderer (Oh yea she is one)
She continues “I am not and I don’t care that you know.” Vicky is weeping and says “You are only saying this because you are mad at me. You can’t forgive me because I stepped out on Dan and now he wants a divorce. Right?” Marcela tells her she is right “I will never forgive you for that stupid act for two reasons. First, you messed up our plan to get all of Dan’s money and secondly because you had no right to mess around with Bruno.” Vicky looks truly shocked and a bit frightened as Marcella continues “Do you know why? Because he was my lover.’ Vicky’s eyes bug out at hearing this.
Marcella says “ He betrayed me with you!! And you have disappointed me over and over again.!!” Vicky is begging her not to say that to her. Marcella tells her if she were her true daughter she would have been able to carry out her plan. She would have been able to do exactly what she was told to do. What ever was necessary to finish off Eva the enemy. She would never had a trembling hand when it came time to pull the trigger. She would never have messed up so many times. Victoria is sobbing at hearing this.
Tony asks Leo what all the threats are about now. Leo tells him he knows what they are. He says “I know you went to talk to Eva. And asked her to forgive you for the stuff you did to her in the past and you told her you love Alicia.” We have a stare down as Tony says “ Yes I did. All of that is true. So what?”
Leo tells him he better not tell her about the little job he had him do for him because he will finish him off if he does. He bumps him insolently as he walks away. Tony says “Now that you called on me to talk about all this Leo I will take advantage of the little trip.” Leo says “talk” Tony starts talking about how Leo drugged Eva and put her in bed nude and took photos of her and does he think he is still afraid of him? Leo says and why aren’t you. Tony tells him it is because he is now the one making the threats. Leo looks at him and says You against me? Tony tells him “Yes, Me against you. And Now I will be very direct and clear!!”
Marcella tells Victoria she is nothing to her. She is nothing but a bastard product from one of her fathers little adventures with a common office assistant. Vicky asks her what is she talking about. Marcella tells her not to even think about asking who it is because she will never tell her. She continues “The name of this woman repulses me and now I hate you as much as I hate her.” Poor Vicky is now mumbling between sobs as she says “ Mama you are killing me.” Marcella tells her she is just as fragile and insignificant as her (Justa,) she says “I don’t love you. You are stupid” She gets up to leave rudely as poor Vick is left to suffer one more disastrous rejection. (I’m felling pretty sorry for her right now and think she’s almost more than paid up for the whole acid in the face incident.)
Leo is now wrestling with Tony and tells him not to dare threaten him. Tony tells him “For Alicia I am capable of doing that and much more!!” Leo says “All of this has to do with her?” Tony screams in his face “Yes because I love Alicia. I am warning you Leo don’t you dare get close to her and don’t you dare try to hurt her unborn child.” Leo screams back “You don’t scare me with your threats. You got that!!!” Tony says “If you do anything to hurt her or anything to hurt her baby, Daniel will find out that it was me who he was going to see that day for the auto part because you paid me to do it.” Leo backs down a bit at hearing this. Tony says “Do you know what will happen with Eva? She will receive those pictures that you took of her in bed when you drugged her and took all her clothes off. I swear that this time I am not playing around!!” Leo is really giving all this some deep thought. Now it is Tony’s turn to put the finger to the face as he tells Leo to watch out as he begs his leave.
The next scene is really cute but I am going to condense it. Adrian and Laurita are trying to convince Jacky to take them out to some cool new restaurant. We see Fran occasionally peaking around the corner in hopes that she will agree. She waivers back and forth.
Julio is talking to Dr. Garcia awaiting news about Vicky. In walks Renata with Justa right behind. Julio is quite startled to see Justa there.
So we were all on pins and needles to hear what Giorgio was going to reveal to Eva. What a let down. It was nothing more than how he has figured out that Marcella was more than likely responsible for the deaths of Bruno and what’s her name. FF>>>>
Justa is begging Julio to help her find Vicky. Julio tells her that he only just found out that Victoria was their daughter. Renata tells Julio that Justa knows everything. That she has kept this secret for many years and that she needs to tell them both something. She tells them that she is ready to pay for what she has done. She tells them to call the police and charge her with this crime. Julio says “You can’t pay for all the damage that you caused us with just that. And for me I think God should be in charge of your punishment” as he snarls at her. Justa turns to Renata and says acidly “Me too.” Julio now totally fed up with Renata asks Dr. Garcia to take her home.
Leo is having a flashback about the whole “Drug Eva, take off her clothes, get in bed and do some self portraits. He also is remembering giving Tony the memory card and asking him to get the pictures but don’t look at them. He also is remembering his prior little discussion with Tony threatening him about showing Eva the pictures. None of this is sitting very well with Leo as he takes a drink from his glass and hurls it across the room saying “I swear I will kill you Tony.”
Giorgio is still going on about his theory about Marcella . They even figure out how she could get back and forth from LA to Miami. FF>>
Adrian and Laurita are still trying to convince Jacky to take them out. I think she is about to bite. Fran is still hanging around the corner and is almost caught a couple of times. The kids have worn her out telling her if she goes she will be very happy. She finally gives in and agrees. We see a very elated Fran in the background as the kids are about to whisk her off.
We get a silly little happy dance from Fran once they have all left to get ready.
Julio and Justa alone at last. Julio says “ Who would have had thought that at the end of our story of love we would bear fruit.” Justa smiles and says “yes and it is the most precious. And you at least got to be close to her.” Julio tells her that he wouldn’t deny he was very fortunate to be so close to her. But truthfully he would rather have had it been with her beside him. Justa says well of course that would have been the best, but now what is important is that God is giving them the chance to rescue her. To help her. Face all her mistakes and start her life a new.
Deb is talking with Alicia and tells her she is happy to see her feeling better. We have some Mother daughter bonding. Deb is all excited that she is about to be a grandmother.
Julio is calling the police station to see if they have any news about Victoria. They have nothing to tell him.
Justa is about to leave and tells Julio she will go to Eva and Daniel and ask them to drop the charges against Victoria. Julio says he was thinking about that as well and that they should go together. Justa is now remembering when she first saw Vicky at the pension. She tells him she felt a great unexplainable emotion. But now she understands what it was. Julio says :It was “the voice of the blood.”
Justa says that is what it was. Julio tells her that from the first moment that Marcella brought her to the house and he had this tiny baby in his arms he felt a great love for her. And he soon forgot that she was adopted and always felt like she was his own daughter. At that moment we hear a sharp shrill “Papa”. Justa drops her purse as Victoria comes running to Julio.
She is crying and asking him to tell her who her real mother is. Dramatic music ensues as Victoria suddenly notices Justa standing behind her.
Deb is begging Alicia to tell her who the father of her child is. Alicia is crying and tells Deb if she tells her she can’t tell anyone. She is just about to spit it out when Eva comes waltzing in. Well that will have to wait till later.
Julio is asking Victoria how she found out. Who told her the truth. She tells him Leo told her she was adopted and later Marcella told her she was certainly not her daughter. Julio asks her if she went to see Marcella? Vicky tells him that Marcella told her she was his daughter with another woman. She wants to know if this is true. Julio tells her it is true but he didn’t know any thing about it until Renata told him what she had done. Victoria wants to know what Renata had to do with any of this. Julio tells her she will find out soon enough. He turns her to face Justa. Victoria stares for a few seconds and tells her she thinks she knows her. She has seen her before. Justa tells her “yes we met once at the pension when Eva introduced us. Victoria is trying to think this all through and has the little flashback of when she met Justa at the pension. Now Vicky freaks a bit and asks if Eva is there as well. Julio assures her she isn’t there. She asks him “Then why is this woman here?” Julio finally tells her that Justa is her real mother. Fran gets very close and touches her face and tells her “Even though you don’t believe this I worry about you and don’t want you to go out with just any old gardener type.” Jacky scoffs and sarcastically tells him “Thanks, but I can take care of myself.” Fran tells her the only thing that guy was looking for was “Well you know” and this sends Jacky off the edge as she tells him to stop interfering in her life and angrily storms off.
Fran is left scratching at his head saying “I sure put my foot in that one.” as Adrian and Laurita come out from hiding and Laurita says “Ya think?” Fran asks if they heard everything. They both stand their looking quite guilty as Fran calls them little gossips.
Fran turns from them and still scratching his head says “Now what do I do? How do I fix this?”
Leo is asking Lilly if Eva saw them. She tells him everything was perfect. Eva opened the door and saw her in bed with Dan and he should have seen her face. Leo looks very pleased. He now gets closer and has changed his tone as he sweetly asks her to tell him more. Lilly continues and tells him she acted really embarrassed and went after Eva and told her that her and Dan were in a relationship. Leo now kisses her sweetly and asks if Eva believed her. (I am gagging bile her) Lilly tells him of course. She swears that Eva left convinced that Daniel cared for her (Lily). Leo congratulates her and tells her that her plan went great even better than his plan at the cabin. He kisses her again and tells her that anyone that ever saw the pictures from the cabin would believe that they made love. He tells her it was a great plan but she is much braver than him She asks him now if he has any doubts in her. He tells her now that she has achieved her goal not to let any thing go wrong. They have to play their cards smartly now. She tells him that he can count on the fact that her and Dan will get married. Even if she has to ask him. He tells her the only thing that matters is that Dan marries her.
Renata and Justa are now sitting down as Renata turns to her and tells her she is responsible for her misfortune (desdicha .) She is responsible for all her pain and nightmares. Justa looks very confused and asks “My nightmares what are you trying to tell me?” Renata says “You were right. Your child wasn’t stillborn like I made you believe. Your child was born alive.” Justa’s eyes bug out as her jaw drops.
Lily goes to Dan’s office. She asks him if he has remembered the wonderful night that they had together yesterday. She slinks over to sit beside him and Dan quickly gets up and tells her no. She tells him she hopes it gets through his cloudy mind soon because for her it was a great night. Dan tells her he thinks she doesn’t have it very clear about what happened last night either. Lilly looks puzzled and asks why he would say that. He tells her he just talked to Eva and she told him that she (lily) called and asked her to come over to the house so she could see them together.
Renata tells Justa that she did hear her baby cry when she was born and that she lied to her telling her she was stillborn. Justa having a difficult time with this news asks her why she would do such a thing. Renata tells her so she could steal her baby. Justa quickly stands and moves away from Renata. She tells her she took her to that clinic to help Marcella with her plan. She tells her that neither one of them wanted her to have Julio’s baby. And they teamed up to take it away from her. Poor Justa is stumbling around in disbelief. She turns and asks her how she could do something like that to her, her sister. She tells her it was because she was jealous of her and hated her because she had Julio’s love and wanted to hurt her. Justa now in full out rage asks “Where is my daughter!”
Said daughter is visiting the family Mafioso. She is asking for his help. She needs a fake ID and a car so she can go visit her murderous mama in prison. He smiles and tells her to sit on down.
Lilly tells Dan it is true. Eva came to the house and saw them together in bed. Dan looks dumbified as he asks her why she never told him any of that. Lily tells him she forgot. Dan says “For gods sake Lily, you left the bed and went to talk to Eva, and even told her we were in a relationship.” Lily with a straight face tells him “Yes I told her that, and do you know why? Because we just finished making love. And that’s what I believed.” Dan now trying to sort this out says “ Did you plan all this out for her to see us together in bed.” Lilly acting all offended says “Of course not!!” Dan then says “How could you forget to tell me something that important?” She tells him it was because she was so upset that he didn’t remember anything that happened the night before and she was very disillusioned and hurt she goes to say “Excuse me for not thinking to tell you about Eva at that moment.” She says “If you really think I could do something like that than maybe it’s best if you kick me out of your house. You shouldn’t have any problems in doing that.” and she leaves acting all the injured party. Dan isn’t looking any smarter at this moment as he watches her leave.
Renata is continuing her sage with Justa. She tells her she gave her baby to Marcella. Justa just about has a stroke as she says “That woman? What did she do with my baby? If she hurt her I am capable of..” and Renata stops her and says “No she raised her as if she were hers.” She tells her Victoria is her daughter.
Justa says “Your telling me my daughter is Victoria Arismendi?” Renata confirms this as the melodrama gets very thick. Then she tells her she is the only one responsible for how things turned out. Because she took her from her and permitted Marcella to raise her in her likeness. (criara a su semejanza)
Back to Fran and his cohorts. Adrian asks if his face hurts from Jacky slapping him. Laurita says Jacky is mad at him. Adrian says she is really mad. Fran tells him he can’t give up now and the kids urge him on and their little plan continues. He has to let her know he cares for her and he hopes she doesn’t turn him down. (This was a cute little scene with the kids trying to build up his confidence to go after Jacky.)
Vicky gets in her new car and is off to see mama. In the meantime. Justa is justifiably going off on Renata. She says “You destroyed my life and that of my child and all for hate and for spite and hate that I don’t deserve.” Renata says “I know and I understood it the day they told us you died in the earthquake. The guilt I had to endure with all I had done but I didn’t have any other choice. And Julio loved Victoria as if she were his daughter so I decided to keep quiet for ever. Until the day I saw you alive than all my regrets returned and since than I haven’t been able to sleep in peace.” Justa turns to her and asks her pleadingly “Where is my daughter now? I want to see her. I want her to know that I am her mother.” Renata tells her she was at Julio’s place but she left.
Cue Victoria who is on her own road towards the truth.
(I know I am one of the few Tony fans out there, but I thought this was the best part of the night. “sweet” bad boy Tony versus “monster” bad boy Leo. You know who I am rooting for.) Tony enters Leo’s office.
He says he was told that Leo wanted to talk to him. He tells him to close the door. Tony asks him what he wanted. Leo tells him he wants to talk about his future. Tony says “My future?” Leo tells him he is going to tell him what he needs to do if he wants to keep on living. Tony gives him the look.
Vicky is escorted to the visitors room at the prison and timidly sits down at Marcella’s table. She doesn’t seem all that excited to see Vicky as she says “I knew it was you. It is about time you showed up.” She says “Even though I knew Claudia Jimenez was dead, only you could come up with taking that name to hide under.” Vicky tells her that El Gallo helped come up with the fake identity.” Marcella asks her why she came.
She tells her to clear up something. Leo told her she was adopted and she wants her to tell her that it isn’t true. Marcella looks at her with disdain as she says “ And here I thought you came to help me and to offer understanding.” Vicky is crying and says “tell me it isn’t true. Tell me I am your daughter” Marcella looks smug as she says to her “Leo was right . You are not my daughter.’
Vicky is still crying as she says she can’t be adopted. “I know I am your daughter and you are my mother.” Marcella stares at her with the eyes of a cold hearted murderer (Oh yea she is one)
She continues “I am not and I don’t care that you know.” Vicky is weeping and says “You are only saying this because you are mad at me. You can’t forgive me because I stepped out on Dan and now he wants a divorce. Right?” Marcela tells her she is right “I will never forgive you for that stupid act for two reasons. First, you messed up our plan to get all of Dan’s money and secondly because you had no right to mess around with Bruno.” Vicky looks truly shocked and a bit frightened as Marcella continues “Do you know why? Because he was my lover.’ Vicky’s eyes bug out at hearing this.
Marcella says “ He betrayed me with you!! And you have disappointed me over and over again.!!” Vicky is begging her not to say that to her. Marcella tells her if she were her true daughter she would have been able to carry out her plan. She would have been able to do exactly what she was told to do. What ever was necessary to finish off Eva the enemy. She would never had a trembling hand when it came time to pull the trigger. She would never have messed up so many times. Victoria is sobbing at hearing this.
Tony asks Leo what all the threats are about now. Leo tells him he knows what they are. He says “I know you went to talk to Eva. And asked her to forgive you for the stuff you did to her in the past and you told her you love Alicia.” We have a stare down as Tony says “ Yes I did. All of that is true. So what?”
Leo tells him he better not tell her about the little job he had him do for him because he will finish him off if he does. He bumps him insolently as he walks away. Tony says “Now that you called on me to talk about all this Leo I will take advantage of the little trip.” Leo says “talk” Tony starts talking about how Leo drugged Eva and put her in bed nude and took photos of her and does he think he is still afraid of him? Leo says and why aren’t you. Tony tells him it is because he is now the one making the threats. Leo looks at him and says You against me? Tony tells him “Yes, Me against you. And Now I will be very direct and clear!!”
Marcella tells Victoria she is nothing to her. She is nothing but a bastard product from one of her fathers little adventures with a common office assistant. Vicky asks her what is she talking about. Marcella tells her not to even think about asking who it is because she will never tell her. She continues “The name of this woman repulses me and now I hate you as much as I hate her.” Poor Vicky is now mumbling between sobs as she says “ Mama you are killing me.” Marcella tells her she is just as fragile and insignificant as her (Justa,) she says “I don’t love you. You are stupid” She gets up to leave rudely as poor Vick is left to suffer one more disastrous rejection. (I’m felling pretty sorry for her right now and think she’s almost more than paid up for the whole acid in the face incident.)
Leo is now wrestling with Tony and tells him not to dare threaten him. Tony tells him “For Alicia I am capable of doing that and much more!!” Leo says “All of this has to do with her?” Tony screams in his face “Yes because I love Alicia. I am warning you Leo don’t you dare get close to her and don’t you dare try to hurt her unborn child.” Leo screams back “You don’t scare me with your threats. You got that!!!” Tony says “If you do anything to hurt her or anything to hurt her baby, Daniel will find out that it was me who he was going to see that day for the auto part because you paid me to do it.” Leo backs down a bit at hearing this. Tony says “Do you know what will happen with Eva? She will receive those pictures that you took of her in bed when you drugged her and took all her clothes off. I swear that this time I am not playing around!!” Leo is really giving all this some deep thought. Now it is Tony’s turn to put the finger to the face as he tells Leo to watch out as he begs his leave.
The next scene is really cute but I am going to condense it. Adrian and Laurita are trying to convince Jacky to take them out to some cool new restaurant. We see Fran occasionally peaking around the corner in hopes that she will agree. She waivers back and forth.
Julio is talking to Dr. Garcia awaiting news about Vicky. In walks Renata with Justa right behind. Julio is quite startled to see Justa there.
So we were all on pins and needles to hear what Giorgio was going to reveal to Eva. What a let down. It was nothing more than how he has figured out that Marcella was more than likely responsible for the deaths of Bruno and what’s her name. FF>>>>
Justa is begging Julio to help her find Vicky. Julio tells her that he only just found out that Victoria was their daughter. Renata tells Julio that Justa knows everything. That she has kept this secret for many years and that she needs to tell them both something. She tells them that she is ready to pay for what she has done. She tells them to call the police and charge her with this crime. Julio says “You can’t pay for all the damage that you caused us with just that. And for me I think God should be in charge of your punishment” as he snarls at her. Justa turns to Renata and says acidly “Me too.” Julio now totally fed up with Renata asks Dr. Garcia to take her home.
Leo is having a flashback about the whole “Drug Eva, take off her clothes, get in bed and do some self portraits. He also is remembering giving Tony the memory card and asking him to get the pictures but don’t look at them. He also is remembering his prior little discussion with Tony threatening him about showing Eva the pictures. None of this is sitting very well with Leo as he takes a drink from his glass and hurls it across the room saying “I swear I will kill you Tony.”
Giorgio is still going on about his theory about Marcella . They even figure out how she could get back and forth from LA to Miami. FF>>
Adrian and Laurita are still trying to convince Jacky to take them out. I think she is about to bite. Fran is still hanging around the corner and is almost caught a couple of times. The kids have worn her out telling her if she goes she will be very happy. She finally gives in and agrees. We see a very elated Fran in the background as the kids are about to whisk her off.
We get a silly little happy dance from Fran once they have all left to get ready.
Julio and Justa alone at last. Julio says “ Who would have had thought that at the end of our story of love we would bear fruit.” Justa smiles and says “yes and it is the most precious. And you at least got to be close to her.” Julio tells her that he wouldn’t deny he was very fortunate to be so close to her. But truthfully he would rather have had it been with her beside him. Justa says well of course that would have been the best, but now what is important is that God is giving them the chance to rescue her. To help her. Face all her mistakes and start her life a new.
Deb is talking with Alicia and tells her she is happy to see her feeling better. We have some Mother daughter bonding. Deb is all excited that she is about to be a grandmother.
Julio is calling the police station to see if they have any news about Victoria. They have nothing to tell him.
Justa is about to leave and tells Julio she will go to Eva and Daniel and ask them to drop the charges against Victoria. Julio says he was thinking about that as well and that they should go together. Justa is now remembering when she first saw Vicky at the pension. She tells him she felt a great unexplainable emotion. But now she understands what it was. Julio says :It was “the voice of the blood.”
Justa says that is what it was. Julio tells her that from the first moment that Marcella brought her to the house and he had this tiny baby in his arms he felt a great love for her. And he soon forgot that she was adopted and always felt like she was his own daughter. At that moment we hear a sharp shrill “Papa”. Justa drops her purse as Victoria comes running to Julio.
She is crying and asking him to tell her who her real mother is. Dramatic music ensues as Victoria suddenly notices Justa standing behind her.
Deb is begging Alicia to tell her who the father of her child is. Alicia is crying and tells Deb if she tells her she can’t tell anyone. She is just about to spit it out when Eva comes waltzing in. Well that will have to wait till later.
Julio is asking Victoria how she found out. Who told her the truth. She tells him Leo told her she was adopted and later Marcella told her she was certainly not her daughter. Julio asks her if she went to see Marcella? Vicky tells him that Marcella told her she was his daughter with another woman. She wants to know if this is true. Julio tells her it is true but he didn’t know any thing about it until Renata told him what she had done. Victoria wants to know what Renata had to do with any of this. Julio tells her she will find out soon enough. He turns her to face Justa. Victoria stares for a few seconds and tells her she thinks she knows her. She has seen her before. Justa tells her “yes we met once at the pension when Eva introduced us. Victoria is trying to think this all through and has the little flashback of when she met Justa at the pension. Now Vicky freaks a bit and asks if Eva is there as well. Julio assures her she isn’t there. She asks him “Then why is this woman here?” Julio finally tells her that Justa is her real mother. We have exchanged looks. Victoria still very confused and Justa very hopeful.

More lies revealed, new lies told. Daniel ends up in the wrong bed.
I know, I got the recap up earlier this time! I may have missed a few details here and there, especially at the beginning. But I hope I got most of it!
Lileach barges into Leo's office and tells him about Icky found her at Daniel's place and was her typical crazy self. Leo is outraged.
Icky overhears the doctor and Don Julio talk about her condition. She hears the doctor say that she needs treatment at a medical facility. But she doesn't hear the part about how they are going to ask Daniel and Eva to drop the charges, because Ictoria is sick and needs help. She doesn't hear Don Julio's comments about how he loves her and now he can help her. She thinks that they're going to leave her to rot and eventually she'll end up in a loony bin or in jail.
Gallo visits Marcella in jail. She wants his help.
Renata wants to talk to Don Julio. Don Julio tells Renata that he promised Don Ricardo that he wouldn't bother Justa or Don Ricardo, since she's chosen Don Ricardo. But Renata has something else to tell him.
Marcela is telling Gallo that she wants out of jail. She'll pay him with some jewels she's got saved. She wants out SOON. Gallo looks knowingly in that Gallo-esque way.
Deborah tells Eva that she doesn't know who is the baby daddy of Alicia's baby. The only thing she knows is that he's somehow attached or married.
Icky thinks that Don Julio is going to have her locked up, so she takes off in a car.
Renata admits to Don Julio that she and Marcela didn't pick up Icky from an orphanage, but she was stolen. Don Julio had always thought that Icky was adopted. "No, she was stolen from her mother at the time of her birth," Renata admits. Don Julio is of course impactado.
Renata admits that Marcela threatened her if she told anyone about the baby-napping. She also confesses tearfully that she was actually the one who stole the kid!
Lileach convinces Leo that she'll find a way to destroy Eva's trust in Daniel.
Don Julio blows up at Renata, castigating her for the baby napping. Finally Renata admits all of it—Icky is Justa's and his kid! Don Julio is beyond impactada.
Justa is looking at the newspaper about Marcela being in jail and saying basically, it couldn't happen to a better person.
Don Julio asks Renata, how could she do this? She says she was poisoned by jealousy and bitterness. She then let herself be convinced by Marcela to go along with the plot.
She begs for forgiveness, but an angry Julio says that his daughter grew up with him around, but that it's Justa that she needs to apologize to—she's the one who was robbed of her kid!
Lileach greets Daniel when he comes home. She tries to claim she was so bored waiting for him. He corrects her and says he knows she visited Leo at his office that day.
Tia Tilde is fussing over Alicia as she puts her to bed. They talk about how she's got to eventually tell Eva who the baby daddy is.
Lileach spins some BS line about seeing Leo to get paid for her modeling job. She then offers to help him relax with a drink. She puts some special telenovela powder in his drink. Uh oh. Foolish, trusting Daniel drinks it. She speaks to him of more BS and moves on him, but he doesn't seem at all persuaded. He shakes his head and smiles indulgently at her moves, but unfortunately he drinks what she has to offer.
Laurita is visiting Adrian. They are talking about Francisco and Jackie's pathetically stupid love life. They're going to help out.
Lileach calls Eva to ask her for a favor. She needs her to come over to talk "woman to woman." Oh retch!
A crazy Icky bursts into Leo's office.
Lileach tells Jackie that she's expecting Eva. Jackie wants to pick up some laundry but Lileach will take care of it. I guess she wants Jackie outta there.
Icky appeals to Leo about her sad situation but Leo just wants her the heck outta there too. But he seems interested when she tells him that Lileach is her accomplice in trying to bump off Eva.
Eva comes over to see Lileach and into the bedroom. As expected, there is a buck naked (well, buck naked under the sheets, we are led to believe) Daniel in bed. Eva looks impactado. (I was going through an old episode of Eva Luna today, cleaning it off of my DVR—Jan 11 episode—and we had the same scenario, but with Eva and Leo. You know the one where Leo drugs her and then takes photos of himself in bed with her? And this has been done twice on Llena de Amor that I know of, right? Is this some sort of telenovela custom?)
Eva gets out of there pronto, with Lileach close behind.
Leo is now saying he doesn't believe Icky, but she's saying no, Lileach was helping her out! She outlines more details of what happened and how Lileach did to help. Leo looks like he's starting to believe.
Eva figures that Lileach brought her over just to see Daniel and bed. Eva has tears in her eyes. Lileach insists that "one thing led to another" and that it wasn't planned. "Now you can see that Daniel also loves me" Lileach says. Eva is upset and furious and gets out of there.
Icky is ranting more to Leo. He gives her money for a motel and he wants to be rid of her. She keeps trying to appeal to him. Finally he snaps and tells her off. He's tired of all her crazy. Then he really does it. He tells her that they're not even related!
Don Julio calls the police to warn them about Icky. He wants their help. He asks that they go easy on her when the find her and not hurt her. She's sick, he says. The police guy agrees to help.
Eva is crying in her room and lamenting how she ever could believe in Daniel.
Icky is crying and in shock at the thought that she's adopted. He just wants her outta there. He is trying to push her out the door. He tells her she's useless and bodily throws her out of his office. Man, that's cold. But hey, she was trying to kill Eva, and he considers that unforgivable.
Renata has come to visit Marcela in jail.
Laurita has returned home. Francisco has brought her. He's tired and takes off. Laurita wants to see her dad. But Lileach spins some crap to dissuade her.
Marcela tells Renata that she's gonna get her. Renata replies that she's not afraid. She also says that Marcela ruined her long ago, when she convinced her to turn against her own sister. She tells Marcela that she's told Don Julio everything.
Tia Tilde wants to know why Eva is crying. She tearfully says that Daniel's been playing with her, that he's a liar, how he claimed to love her but there he was, in Lileach's bed. All this pain she feels makes her realize that she still loves him. Then Leo comes in and wants to know what's up.
Daniel wakes up still naked in bed, with Lileach naked next to him, and looks around, completely befuddled.
Leo persists—what's going on? Eva says nothing, don't worry. Tia explains that Eva's upset about Alicia having been in the hospital because she fainted. Leo is interested about this. Tia leaves to get Eva something. Then Eva tells Leo that Alicia is pregnant.
Daniel is still confused. Lileach tries to fill in the wrong blanks. We made love, she says. He doesn't remember anything.
Eva tells Leo that she doesn't know who the baby daddy for Alicia's baby is. She's thinking it's so strange. She doesn't know who the dad could be.
Daniel says he's sorry for what "she says" happened between them. You know I love Eva, he says, as he hastily dresses. She tries to put the guilt on him as he looks tormented and confused. "Just remember that I'm giving you the chance to start over with my love" she says. He can't get out of there fast enough.
Leo is in Alicia's room and wakes her up. He tells her he heard what happened. "I know you wanted to protect our son" he says. "I'm glad everything is fine. Soon we'll tell everyone but for now let's keep quiet." She looks queasy at this suggestion, but reluctantly agrees.
The secretary friend of Bruno's cousin is on the phone, hearing some distressing news. She heard from a friend vacationing in Florida that Bruno and cousin are dead. It was on TV news down there. She tells Giorgio about this.
Daniel's back at work talking with his secretary. She asks him if he heard about Alicia's passing out at work. He wants to ask more about it and rushes out to ask Eva about it.
The secretary-friend of Bruno's cousin tells Giorgio that the cousin always suspected that Marcela knew about Bruno and her (cousin). Giorgio starts to get an "aha" look on his face.
At Justa's pension, Renata comes to the door and has something very important to tell her.
Daniel visits Eva's office. She's acting hostile.
Lileach visits Leo in his office. He descends upon her and pushes her to the couch. He looks like he's choking her. He confronts her about her attempts to do in Eva.
Daniel wants to know what's bugging Eva. She says that every time she starts to trust him, he disappoints her. He can't figure out what she means. So she asks him plainly: "Who were you in bed with last night?" He looks impactada.
End of episode!
I will try to get some clips up in the morning or early afternoon. (I know, you hear that from me and sometimes I don't! LOL.) But I got a head start on the recapping this time so hopefully I'll feel up for some clip-making in the morning.
Another thing while I've got everyone here: I'm planning on making a fan video (fan-made music video) set to Eva Luna. I hope to get it done within a week (don't know yet). I may use one of the songs to the Eva Luna soundtrack (which I just got today from Amazon.com). I'll post a link to the video when it's done.
This is my last recap for Eva Luna and I want to say how fun it's been and what a great TN Eva Luna has been, even with its telenovela drops and Dan the Idiot Man and so forth. I loved it! And all the fellow recappers and everyone who contributed to each recap discussion have been wonderful. We have a great group here!

Renata admits to Don Julio that she and Marcela didn't pick up Icky from an orphanage, but she was stolen. Don Julio had always thought that Icky was adopted. "No, she was stolen from her mother at the time of her birth," Renata admits. Don Julio is of course impactado.
Renata admits that Marcela threatened her if she told anyone about the baby-napping. She also confesses tearfully that she was actually the one who stole the kid!

Lileach convinces Leo that she'll find a way to destroy Eva's trust in Daniel.
Don Julio blows up at Renata, castigating her for the baby napping. Finally Renata admits all of it—Icky is Justa's and his kid! Don Julio is beyond impactada.
Justa is looking at the newspaper about Marcela being in jail and saying basically, it couldn't happen to a better person.
Don Julio asks Renata, how could she do this? She says she was poisoned by jealousy and bitterness. She then let herself be convinced by Marcela to go along with the plot.
She begs for forgiveness, but an angry Julio says that his daughter grew up with him around, but that it's Justa that she needs to apologize to—she's the one who was robbed of her kid!
Lileach greets Daniel when he comes home. She tries to claim she was so bored waiting for him. He corrects her and says he knows she visited Leo at his office that day.
Tia Tilde is fussing over Alicia as she puts her to bed. They talk about how she's got to eventually tell Eva who the baby daddy is.

Lileach spins some BS line about seeing Leo to get paid for her modeling job. She then offers to help him relax with a drink. She puts some special telenovela powder in his drink. Uh oh. Foolish, trusting Daniel drinks it. She speaks to him of more BS and moves on him, but he doesn't seem at all persuaded. He shakes his head and smiles indulgently at her moves, but unfortunately he drinks what she has to offer.

Laurita is visiting Adrian. They are talking about Francisco and Jackie's pathetically stupid love life. They're going to help out.
Lileach calls Eva to ask her for a favor. She needs her to come over to talk "woman to woman." Oh retch!
A crazy Icky bursts into Leo's office.
Lileach tells Jackie that she's expecting Eva. Jackie wants to pick up some laundry but Lileach will take care of it. I guess she wants Jackie outta there.
Icky appeals to Leo about her sad situation but Leo just wants her the heck outta there too. But he seems interested when she tells him that Lileach is her accomplice in trying to bump off Eva.
Eva comes over to see Lileach and into the bedroom. As expected, there is a buck naked (well, buck naked under the sheets, we are led to believe) Daniel in bed. Eva looks impactado. (I was going through an old episode of Eva Luna today, cleaning it off of my DVR—Jan 11 episode—and we had the same scenario, but with Eva and Leo. You know the one where Leo drugs her and then takes photos of himself in bed with her? And this has been done twice on Llena de Amor that I know of, right? Is this some sort of telenovela custom?)

Eva gets out of there pronto, with Lileach close behind.
Leo is now saying he doesn't believe Icky, but she's saying no, Lileach was helping her out! She outlines more details of what happened and how Lileach did to help. Leo looks like he's starting to believe.
Eva figures that Lileach brought her over just to see Daniel and bed. Eva has tears in her eyes. Lileach insists that "one thing led to another" and that it wasn't planned. "Now you can see that Daniel also loves me" Lileach says. Eva is upset and furious and gets out of there.
Icky is ranting more to Leo. He gives her money for a motel and he wants to be rid of her. She keeps trying to appeal to him. Finally he snaps and tells her off. He's tired of all her crazy. Then he really does it. He tells her that they're not even related!

Don Julio calls the police to warn them about Icky. He wants their help. He asks that they go easy on her when the find her and not hurt her. She's sick, he says. The police guy agrees to help.
Eva is crying in her room and lamenting how she ever could believe in Daniel.
Icky is crying and in shock at the thought that she's adopted. He just wants her outta there. He is trying to push her out the door. He tells her she's useless and bodily throws her out of his office. Man, that's cold. But hey, she was trying to kill Eva, and he considers that unforgivable.

Renata has come to visit Marcela in jail.
Laurita has returned home. Francisco has brought her. He's tired and takes off. Laurita wants to see her dad. But Lileach spins some crap to dissuade her.
Marcela tells Renata that she's gonna get her. Renata replies that she's not afraid. She also says that Marcela ruined her long ago, when she convinced her to turn against her own sister. She tells Marcela that she's told Don Julio everything.
Tia Tilde wants to know why Eva is crying. She tearfully says that Daniel's been playing with her, that he's a liar, how he claimed to love her but there he was, in Lileach's bed. All this pain she feels makes her realize that she still loves him. Then Leo comes in and wants to know what's up.

Daniel wakes up still naked in bed, with Lileach naked next to him, and looks around, completely befuddled.

Leo persists—what's going on? Eva says nothing, don't worry. Tia explains that Eva's upset about Alicia having been in the hospital because she fainted. Leo is interested about this. Tia leaves to get Eva something. Then Eva tells Leo that Alicia is pregnant.
Eva tells Leo that she doesn't know who the baby daddy for Alicia's baby is. She's thinking it's so strange. She doesn't know who the dad could be.

Daniel says he's sorry for what "she says" happened between them. You know I love Eva, he says, as he hastily dresses. She tries to put the guilt on him as he looks tormented and confused. "Just remember that I'm giving you the chance to start over with my love" she says. He can't get out of there fast enough.

Leo is in Alicia's room and wakes her up. He tells her he heard what happened. "I know you wanted to protect our son" he says. "I'm glad everything is fine. Soon we'll tell everyone but for now let's keep quiet." She looks queasy at this suggestion, but reluctantly agrees.
The secretary friend of Bruno's cousin is on the phone, hearing some distressing news. She heard from a friend vacationing in Florida that Bruno and cousin are dead. It was on TV news down there. She tells Giorgio about this.
Daniel's back at work talking with his secretary. She asks him if he heard about Alicia's passing out at work. He wants to ask more about it and rushes out to ask Eva about it.
The secretary-friend of Bruno's cousin tells Giorgio that the cousin always suspected that Marcela knew about Bruno and her (cousin). Giorgio starts to get an "aha" look on his face.
At Justa's pension, Renata comes to the door and has something very important to tell her.
Daniel visits Eva's office. She's acting hostile.
Lileach visits Leo in his office. He descends upon her and pushes her to the couch. He looks like he's choking her. He confronts her about her attempts to do in Eva.

Daniel wants to know what's bugging Eva. She says that every time she starts to trust him, he disappoints her. He can't figure out what she means. So she asks him plainly: "Who were you in bed with last night?" He looks impactada.

Another thing while I've got everyone here: I'm planning on making a fan video (fan-made music video) set to Eva Luna. I hope to get it done within a week (don't know yet). I may use one of the songs to the Eva Luna soundtrack (which I just got today from Amazon.com). I'll post a link to the video when it's done.
This is my last recap for Eva Luna and I want to say how fun it's been and what a great TN Eva Luna has been, even with its telenovela drops and Dan the Idiot Man and so forth. I loved it! And all the fellow recappers and everyone who contributed to each recap discussion have been wonderful. We have a great group here!

Revised. New bloggers - are you out there? Willing to give it a try?
Hello friends,
Have you been reading our blog and thinking "I could do that!" ??
Our 8 pm show, Eva Luna, is ending April 11 (this coming Monday) and we don't know what's following it.. We need possibly FOUR bloggers for this show!! It's rumored to be quite good.
UPDATE: Some are of the opinion that in fact Eva Luna is NOT ending!??
Our 7 pm show, Llena de Amor, is ending April 18. and "Cuando Me Enamore" is starting on Tuesday, April 19. We need two or three bloggers for the show, which is rumored to be a comedy (I hope so!)
Our 9 pm show, Teresa, has just begun and has no regular recaps at all, because the recappers all went with "Triunfo" when it was put in the 10 pm slot.
UPDATE! Frances is going to blog Teresa tonight! Let's give her a hand!

Eva Luna #105 Mon 4/4/11 Julio’s Last Laugh; Tony’s Apt Apology; Alicia’s Big Reveal
Cap.#105
As we pick up where we left off, Victoria has returned to the Villaneuava manse and surprises Liliana with a visit; and Don Julio comes to taunt Inmate Marcela.
Julio visits Inmate Marci in jail to get the last laugh. He snickers at her “new wardrobe” and says he’s there to see her locked up behind bars, humiliated, and defeated the way he’s wanted to from the day he discovered that she’d been poisoning him. She tells him she should have had his body exhumed and he cheerfully agrees it was a costly mistake on her part not to have. Now, he says, she’ll have to suffer daily for every drop of poison she had him drink and for the crime she committed. He’s sure she’ll never be able to hurt anyone from behind bars. Marci hisses that they’ll see about that! She tries to one-up him then, and says he’s going to have to pay for the crime of faking his death. He explains that he was never actually declared formally dead, and now his brilliant plan against her has been completed flawlessly. She spits at him to get out of there. He’ll leave, he says, but first he came to give her the third and final letter. “--Here, little viper!” He pushes the envelope through the bars and walks away, laughing his head off the whole time. She reads the two words scribbled in Julio’s handwriting:
“I won!”
Lileach asks Ictoria how she got into the bedroom. Icky says she should be asking her that question--not that it’s necessary because she can pretty much figure it out on her own! Lusty-busty Lil tricked her, she complains, making her believe that she was going to help her win Daniel back, when the only thing Lil really intended was to take Dano for herself! Lili explains the facts of life--at least, as they are presently--to Icky: the house isn’t Icky’s home any longer and very soon, once the divorce is final Dan’s not going to be Ictoria’s husband, either. Remember why? Because Icky’s some kind of crazy dangerous and no man wants her! (Almost makes Viewerville feel sympathy for Icky…almost.) Our blond bimbutt whines that Lili’s worse a traitor than Eva! Lili says it doesn’t matter what V-icky says because Lil’s won Dano away from both of them! Icky says think again! She threatens to tell Dano how Lileach helped her plan to kidnap his daughter, to kill Eva, and afterwards locked Icky herself away so Lili could get a chance to work her charms on him up close and personal. Leggy Lil’s heard enough and the two go at it bleached tooth and acrylic nail.
Lili changes her mind after nearly choking Ictoria and dares Icky to tell Dan whatever since no one will believe a nutcase like Ictoria anyway. Besides, the police are searching for her! If they find Icky there, Lil will tell them herself that Icky snuck in to kill Laurita. She’ll end up in jail. So go ahead and tell Dan if she dares to! Icky backs off and tears up. Suddenly Dan starts knocking on the door because he heard the racket. The two panic. Icky warns she’s going to get even with Lil, reminds her she’ll have to help her get back out of the house again, and then hides while Lil lies to Dan about just being frightened and mistakenly thinking Victoria was rustling around in her closet. (Looks like it’s another Mexican standoff between these two frenemies!)
Somewhere else in the house, Laurita gives a moping Francisco grief about Jackie going out with hubba hubba Humberto, the handsome gardener. FF>>
That evening, Alicia pays Leonardo a visit in his bedroom and reminds him that he promised they’d tell Eva together about the baby once Mama Marci’s trial was over. Leo plays on Ali’s sympathy and asks for a bit more time since the trial was so emotionally brutal for him. She agrees to give him one more week. He smiles to himself after she’s gone. “--That’s enough time to get free of her!”
The next morning at the ad agency, Tony stops by to speak with Ali at her make-up station. He wants to know if she and Leo have told Eva about the baby yet. Of course he begged off for a few more days, she admits. Tony says it doesn’t surprise him a bit. Deb walks up and overhears enough of the conversation to find out Alicia’s pregnant. Tony excuses himself and heads for Eva’s office. Ali explains to her mother that she found out a few weeks before Marcela’s trial. Deb wants to know who the father is, but Alicia refuses to tell her mother anything except to say that it’s not Tony’s. She makes Deb promise not to tell Eva yet. She can’t tell her mother, she says, because she hasn’t the courage to and she’s going to die of embarrassment when Eva finally finds out. Deb promises to help her out, no matter whose kid it is.
Out in the reception area, meanwhile, Giorgio, Olga, the receptionist, and Dan’s secretary are gossiping about the trial and how Marcela could have ruthlessly killed Dan’s parents. Something comes up about Leo and Gg tells them Leo’s not so very different from his mean-minded mama. They want to know what he is talking about. He can’t tell yet he says, but it will all come out in the wash soon and they’ll find out in due time.
Tony knocks on Eva’s door. She reluctantly gives him a minute to speak with her. He tells her he’s there to apologize for his past behavior and to tell her that he’s truly in love with Alicia. Eva wants action, not words, though. Dan comes in a few minutes after. Tony says he asked Dan to come by also so he could apologize to both of them for what he did when Eva was accused of stealing the money. She wants actions and so here it is: he explains that the business about Eva and Ali literally hooking millionaires to steal from them was all lies he made up to keep the Dan and Eva apart from each other. He did it because he was blinded by his hate for Eva. He wanted to get even with her because he thought she was the reason Alicia wouldn’t get serious with him although he knows now it was himself that was the problem. Dan and Eva are WTF??-impactados.
Meanwhile, Icky runs over to Eva’s place looking to speak to Mama. Renata sympathetically tells her she can’t speak to Mama because she’s in jail for the murder of Daniel’s parents as well as Dan’s first wife and Leo’s daddy. She learns also from Ren that her father is still alive and that he faked his death when he learned her mother was trying to poison him. This is a bit much for Icky to take in all at once, but she manages.
Leo visits his mother in jail to complain to her about having killed his father and wants to know why. Marci tells him it was because his daddy was confusing him by filling his head with crass sentimentalism and getting in her way. “—You know that when people become a nuisance you have to eliminate them.” Leo says he doesn’t give a rat’s patoot about any of the others she offed, but he’ll never ever forgive her for killing his own father! He gets up to leave. Marci grabs him by the necktie and drags him down to the table again. She is spittin’ mad and tells him he’s exactly the same as she is, and that he’s got no right judging her like that. Leo disagrees and says he’s never killed anybody. Marci says of course he has! Remember Eva’s father? Then, she sneers, not satisfied with that, he wants to blame it on his best friend! She continues by reminding him how he begged her just a few days ago to get rid of Alicia’s baby the same way he had her help him with Claudia’s baby.
Leo says that’s different because he never had Mama get rid of anybody that was important to her personally. She laughs in his face. “--What? My grandchild wasn’t important? Don’t give me that B.S. about your papi! You’d have gotten him out of the way if he got to be a nuisance, just like you did with Claw! You can’t deny either that you are capable of anything provided that you manage to get what you want! So don’t you come to me with that sanctimonious stuff because I know you too well!.”
We beam over to Dano’s for a bit of a breather while Laurita, trying to play matchmaker, plays twenty questions with Jackie about her love life. Jackie’s answers sum it up: she is going out with Humberto and she’s giving up on Franc cuz she thinks he’s a lost cause and doesn’t want to end up an old maid. Life’s too short! FF>>
Back in Eva’s office, Dano and she agree that Tony sincerely regrets his past mistakes. Dan says he’s not going to blame Tony because he was just as guilty for having idiotically believed all the garbage Tony told him--even though he had his doubts. Dan says he understands Eva better now also because of it—how she let herself be tricked into believing all the things that Leonardo made up to keep them apart. That’s why she’s doubted his innocence. He knows deep down, though, that she knows he’s not guilty. “--I told you I would show you and it will be the first step to winning you back and keeping you from marrying Leonardo!” He tells her he has never stopped loving her and he feels that she really hasn’t stopped loving him either. Dan leaves her alone to think about what he’s just said. Eva tears up a tad.
Ren takes Vicki to her father’s new manse for a reunion. Julio tells Icky she’s made some bad mistakes but he and Dr. Garcia will see what they can do to help her. She can live there with him in the meantime. Icky admits she’s done some really stupid and mean things and says she really feels guilty about it all. Her one complaint, though, is about his giving Eva all he did, especially since Eva took Dan away from her. Julio reminds her that he told her marrying Dan was a mistake because they weren’t right for each other. She and her mother insisted and now Icky’s been unhappy because of refusing to pay attention to his advice. V-icky won’t disagree. As for the inheritance, he says, she and her brother distanced themselves from him and made their own choice to do so. He gave them what what was suitable and due them. She realizes he’s right. They tearfully hug some more.
Humberto comes to Dan’s house to get Jackie. Laurita tells Franc to get off his backside pronto and do something drastic or face losing Jackie for good. While Laurita stalls Jackie, Franc goes out and gives Humberto some tall tale about all of Jackie’s dates going missing and their families never hearing from them again. Humberto has second thoughts and splits. Jackie comes into the living room and finds out that Humberto got called away and “cancelled.” FF>>
Ictoria tearfully admits that the day she thought he’d died she realized how much he meant to her and she apologizes for whatever disrespect she’d shown him growing up. He sends her upstairs to relax and take a nap while they wait Dr. Garcia to come to examine her.
After Dr. Garcia examines Victoria he discusses what he thinks with Julio. Icky sneaks down the stairs to hear what they’re saying. Dr. Garcia says some of the answers she gave to some of his questions seemed to point towards mental instability in incoherency. He suggests they intern her in a hospital for a while to undergo treatment.
Back at the ad agency, Eva chats with Ali about Tony’s change of heart and his new-found maturity when apologizing for his past behavior towards them both. Eva adds that he’d also admitted to being in love with Ali. Ali says he’d recently told her the same thing. She gets up off the couch while they’re still in the middle of their discussion and faints dead away. Eva rushes her to the hospital ER to be examined. She’s there in the room while the doctor says they’ll have to do x-rays and starts asking Ali questions. One of those questions is whether Alicia is pregnant. Alicia breaks down, knowing she can’t lie any longer. She admits she’s pregnant and can’t take the needed x-rays. Eva’s first question is who the guy was.
