This is my first telenovela, so please pardon my ignorance. Three questions:
A. Reruns? Did someone say reruns? Do they do that? On a major channel (Univision)? I discovered FMB in May, so I'd love to see reruns
B. What are the chances that FMB will be released on DVD?
C. When the series is over, will the recaps stay up? So if I watch reruns or DVDs, I can read the recap to help me understand what they're saying. I'm learning Spanish poco a poco (little by little).

Oh! (Waiiiilllllll!) Why is Duelo ending when I am on vacation? So far I'm 2 for 2. LFMB is ending tomorrow and I'm at a conference and no Univision in this hotel. July 12 I'll be out of town as well. Drat!

Paula, I don't think they ever re-run novelas in prime spots. Maybe in the middle of the night. La Fea is already available on dvd (see previous comment areas for information) but the official dvd won't be available until later.
As for the recaps, all the shows we've ever recapped are still here on the site (see the sidebar, under the current shows) and as long as blogspot lets me store them free, they'll be there. I'll just move La Fea down to the inactive area.

THanks Anita! I'm totally thrilled that the first hour will be recap. I hope it shows scenes all the way from the beginning (which I missed), and not just from the last week or two.
Oh my God, I am so depressed that this is the end. I can't wait for the official dvd's to come out. I really enjoyed lfmb, my first novela, and will miss the recaps and comments. You guys are great.
The weird part about this whole thing is that Univision has not promoted at all that during the 7pm time slot they are going to give a mini-summary of LFMB. It has gotten zero promotion, lets see what happens tonight.

Also, noticed that, at least in the West, Codigo Postal is scheduled to air at 9pm. For those of you who don't know, this is the novela that Jaime's up until recently infant girlfriend acts in. I might check it out to see what she was about.
Ann, that's had. He's 33 and she was just pushing 20 hence infant.
I can't believe they are suddenly going to show a day time novela at night although it did happen in the past when the afternoon show was smashing so who knows. During the summer things are a hash anyway and like someone else I'll miss the end of duelo but the recap will be good enough for me with that train wreck you can't help watching novela.

Ok, I just a saw a preview during Codigo Postal just right when they went to the first commercials they announced LFMB for 7pm/6c. I think it's going to be a repetition of Thursday's and Friday's episode put together.

I think they are trying to wean us duelo-crackheads off of Duelo by taking two of our episodes away this week before the finale.
I sympathize, Jeanne. I'm going on vacation on the 11th. It was so inconsiderate of them to air the grand finale when I'll be in a rustic cabin on the Colombia river in Washington State, with no TV. Thank heaven for Tivo.

This is a plea for substitutes when I go on vacation, July 6, 13 and 20. If no one can sub, I'll post a header for comments. That's three Fridays in a row.
I am pretty certain at the timeshare where we are going there is no Spanish language television, and I won't actually have time anyway since we're going to Hawaii and everyone we know and used to work with already wants to see us. (More of a "family visit" than a vacation.....)
