Mentir Para Vivir: Possible New Time Beginning 12/23!
Hey, all!
Madeleine and I have found a few t.v. scheduling grids listing Mentir at 7PM EDT beginning Monday night, the 23rd. TV Guide does not have the change listed although Corazón Indomable is over by then. Grrr.
"Zap2It" and "Locate TV.com" have the change listed as well as "Titan TV" and Univision's California affiliate, ch 657. TWO hours of Lo Que La Vida are listed.
So, fun lovers, reset your DVR's accordingly.

Does anyone know what happens to "Por ella soy Eva" tonight?
I know that passion pit (I chuckle to myself every time I think of that clever translation) has a big finale tonight. TV guide says Abismo for 7 to 9, but there's a big gray block between 9 and 10.

Univision goes crazy with the schedule AGAIN
I didn't notice until right now, but for the next two weeks, at least here in North Carolina, they are going BACK to TWO-HOUR sessions of Una familia con suerte; El Talisman will have its 9 pm slot and La que no podia amar is showing at 10:00 pm.
WHY WHY WHY?

Starting this coming Monday, for at least a week and a day (that's as far ahead as I can see in the tv schedule), our show is running two hours a day, this time from

Who wants to blog TERESA? TdA is moving to 10 pm
Honestly, I wouldn't know about this if one of my kind and loyal bloggers hadn't alerted me. Triunfo del Amor will air for two hours this coming Tuesday; then on Wednesday it moves to 10 pm and we have the premiere of Teresa at 9 pm.
Current TdA bloggers and anybody interested in Teresa: Please respond to me directly (caray@mappamundi.com) and let me know what you're planning (if you are a current blogger) or that you're interested (if you want to hop on board). THANKS
UPDATE: Vivi tells me that both Llena and Eva are also in their final chapters! There will be a brief period of overlap - she suggests that if somebody wants to move to Teresa but is still hard at work on the previous novela, "discussion headers" could be posted until the previous show wraps up.

Per Univision News --The Final Week of March There Will Be [Scheduling] Changes
[Since everybody's wondering why their recording schedulers are all fouled up and what they should do and since I fouled up the EL info the first time, I managed to find Univision's latest announcement for the upcoming schedule changes online at their site for all our favorite shows. I have translated it. I put the English first and others who want to read the Spanish version can below the translation. --ed.]
**This, the final week of March there will be changes:
Univision has a series of interesting changes in the last week of March. The beautiful but dangerous Teresa arrives and there will be temporary schedule changes in the Prime time TN's.
Mon., 3/28/11 they will not show Llena de Amor which is in its final weeks. In its hour will be offered a news Special. Marianela comes back in her normal time spot of 7/6c on Tuesday 3/29/11.
Owing to the Mex-Ven Match (9PM/8C) the same night of the 29th, Triunfo will be able to be seen from 9--10:30pm/ 8--9:30C. The following day, TDA returns to its normal 1 hour time period in the 10PM/9C, Mon-Fri.
At Midnight, there will also be Changes. During the week of 3/28 through 4/1, Para Volver A Amar will only be seen two days (Mon. and Wed.) and will return to it's regularly scheduled time on 4/4, Mon.-Fri., at 12am/11PM Central.
Wed., 3/30/11, Prepare yourself to meet the wickedest woman in Telenovelas. Angelique boyer is Teresa and she awaits you at 9PM/8Central, Mon.-Fri. Do you dare to ignore her? We don't advise you to do it!

Univision tiene una serie de interesantes cambios en la última semana de marzo. Llega la bella, pero peligrosa, Teresa y habrá cambios de horarios temporales en las telenovelas del “prime time”.
El lunes 28 no darán Llena de amor que ya está en sus últimas semanas. En su horario se ofrecerá un especial de Noticias Univision. La ex gordita Marianela regresa a su horario normal de 7pm/6ct, el martes 29 de marzo
Debido al Partido México-Venezuela (9pm). Ese mismo martes, el Triunfo del Amor podrá verse a las 9pm-10:30pm/8ct. Al día siguiente, Triunfo del amor vuelve a su duración normal de una hora, en el horario de las 10pm/9ct, de lunes a viernes.
A medianoche también habrá cambios. En esa semana del 28 de marzo al 1 de abril, Para volver a amar solo se verá dos días, el lunes y el miércoles, para regresar el lunes 4 de abril en su horario normal de lunes a viernes, a la medianoche (11pmct).
El miércoles, 30 de marzo, prepárate a conocer a la hembra más mala de las telenovelas. Angelique Boyer es Teresa y te espera a las 9pm/8ct, de lunes a viernes. ¿Te atreves a ignorarla? No te lo aconsejamos.

Schedule change for La Fea Más Bella???
I just saw a post on TNW that Fea will air for two hours. Can anybody confirm this? Either by promo's you see on Univision, or by whatever "crystal ball" you have that tells you the scheduling for next week's programming.
More than a dozen of us have said we'll be watching, plus four maybe's. I know most of us will be recording the show since it starts at noon (this coming Monday). Check this board through the weekend. I hope someone will be able to post a solid schedule, at least for this week, so everyone will be able to record the right time slot.

Sortilegio 11/5/09--Sorry folks, no show tonight because of Latin Grammys.
Viewerville sheds a collective tear as there will be no wacky and zany antics at the House that Skittles Built tonight. No pink frig. No neon underwear. No AARP Lucha Libre matches. No brothers beating each other to a pulp in the middle of the dining room table. And, sadly, no bom chicka bow bow. Since everyone seems to be in agreement, I thought we could have an open discussion. We can discuss the Grammys or Sortilegio or whatever you want. We've had some really great discussions this week. I have a couple of suggestions that were submitted to me just to get the ball rolling and you all can take it from there.
1. Which family, the Elizaldes or the Lombardos, would you like to join for dinner and why?
2. Which character from Sortilegio (or any other TN for that matter) would you like to have drinks with?
3. I don't think we've discussed creative deaths/consequences for some of the characters yet so let's get creative. Might as well start those pie carts rolling up the hill.
Since this could get a little confusing with so many topics, if you want to preface your comment/suggestion/obeservation with a heading like we do for OT then that would be ok. That way if someone wasn't interested in the Latin Grammys they could skip to the next comment.

1/28/08 Pasión - Bumped For Bush as Uni Hails to the Chief
Love him or hate him, W's all you get tonight. Considering the august occasion, I've found the original lyrics and a more popular version for "Hail to the Chief" (off Wikipedia). Since I've sometimes wondered what, if any, lyrics there were some of you fellow "inquiring minds" out there might also want to know. Anyway, I figure that tonight's Uni presentation with W is bound to bring passion of one sort or another out in all who watch it. (=/ 8 > ))
I've also included a link to a Library of Congress website dealing with the history of patriotic melodies. Or, there is this backgrounder at "Ben's Guide for kids" (which was a )whole lot easier to skim through!
Don't know why, as I was never part of the Haight-Ashbury poseur crowd in highschool as the H-A scene was a tiny bit --just-- before my time, but tonight's big event brings to mind "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival (dating myself, I know) off "Willy and the Poorboys". It may nail the mood tonight for some but may not for others. I've included it too if only because the words and melody just seemed to haunt me tonight. Enjoy (or not).

Apparently new novela "YO AMO A JUAN QUERENDON" debuts Mon. at 8:30-9!!
So this week, our La Fea bloggers will be blogging from 8:00-8:30
And the new Juan Querendon team should start from 8:30-9
