Cast of "Amar Sin Limites" with pictures and descriptions

Translated from the esmas.com site:

AZUL (Karyme Lozano) is beautiful and intelligent, sensitive, mature and responsible, but a bit of a manipulator. She wants her opinion to be taken into account and is simple and generous with others, but complicated in her emotional relationships. She likes the good life, even though not in exchange for others' suffering. She is engaged and audacious, capable of risking everything for her love.

DIEGO (Valentino Lanús) is likeable, strong, intelligent, and creative. A little immature in his way of forging his future. He likes the easy life. Daring and brave, he can struggle even unto death to defend his love. He's a man of firm principles who knows how to keep his word.

MAURICIO (René Strickler) is an enchanting man who hides a perverse soul. He is stingy, ambitious, and determined. He uses the power of money and influence to impose his will. He uses people and removes them from the road when they hinder him.

SILVANA (Mónika Sánchez): Distinguished, solitary and attractive, sometimes disoriented by her sufferings and psychological disorders caused by the death of her son. She is audacious and determined, obsessed with vengeance. She gives herself completely to one who shows compassion, which indicates her goodness and her absolute need for love.

CLEMENCIA (Maria Sorté) is kind, tireless in work, a responsible and self-sacrificing mother and wife. She respects the personal life of her two sons, but always wants to help them. She's generous with those who have less than she does and struggles for their rights, but what matters most to her is the unity of her family.

ALFREDO (Otto Sirgo): Likeable, distracted, too trusting, totally enamored of science, Alfredo dreams of contributing something valuable to benefit mankind. With his family he's dry, but does his best to be an understanding father. Even though he's stubborn, he almost always gives in eventually (though sometimes too late).

AURELIO (José Carlos Ruiz) is an older man, serious and hardworking. He profoundly loves his daughter Clemencia and his grandson Diego. Though he doesn't have money, he's rich in family and personal values. He is a man of integrity, strong, responsible, and with much wisdom which he uses to guide those he loves.

LEONARDA (Alma Muriel): an arrogant, dominating woman, taught to despise those she considers to be her inferiors. She is dominating, possessive and jealous, loyal to the point of covering up and justifying any atrocity. A psycopath capable of assassination and calling herself a good Catholic at the same time.

ISELA (Isaura Espinoza): mature, sensual, flirtatious, provocative, funny and exotic at any hour, she has an intense sexual life and doesn't care who knows it, but despite her frivolity always thinks of others and expresses her concern with kindnesses. She is tender, sensible, fair, and a provider of good advice to the young men of the neighborhood who visit the bar.

GLORIA (Socorro Bonilla) is an older, still attractive woman, an adventurer by nature. Seeking liberty, she abandoned her daughter, something that weighs on her conscience. For fear of disappointment and abandonment, she avoids developing longterm relationships.

EMILIA (Lourdes Munguía): a sexy intelligent psychiatrist/therapist with orthodox training, sensitive and always willing to help. She is very secure in her profession but weak in her personal and emotional life. Her love relationships haven't been very successful. Her greatest hope is to find true love.

INÉS (Diana Golden) is a healthy, sexy woman of a good family, who resents having to live a hidden love. She feels shame, frustration, and fear of losing her lover, for whom she'd be willing to abandon everything. She is a sensitive artist who doesn't realize her internal strength.

MANUEL (Marco Muñoz) is imprudent, agressive and inconsiderate, full of bitterness and resentment. He sees his son as a rival and tries to hide his ignorance behind an intransigent attitude. He hates his poverty and tries to take advantage of everything.

I'm so looking forward to this!

I thought I would hate this..not a huge Rene fan..but hey if he is a perverse RatBastard..I could change..Yes I am twisted

Beckster you're funny...and, OK, twisted too.

Bring it on; can't wait to get started!

What would we do without you, Beckster?!

Wow, you guys know who all these people are? I don't know a one! And I'm supposed to do the first recap? Well, I'll do my best. I will consult the crib sheet liberally.

Hey Nina, that's exactly what the crib sheet is for! You'll do great I'm sure.

My problem when I first see a new show is that despite the pictures I still don't know who's who because (1) promo shots feature people's best sides and (2) most of the actresses have had so much plastic surgery they kind of look the same.

You are right, Melinama. What's more, because of the plastic surgery, some of the people playing parents look the same age as their children. I always have trouble keeping track of these characters at the beginning too.

One question : Are there any pirates in this one ? )))Susanlynn , the impatient

Can anyone tell me when this one is supposed to start? I admit that I haven't been tuning in to Univision all that much now that LFMB has ended but I'm hoping that I'll be able to get into this new one.

Any info would be appreciated.

It's starting Tuesday, the 17th.

I get a real kick out of the adjectives used to describe these people. It reads like those interviews they used to do with the Playboy bunnies. ''This is Tiffany Schmidt. She loves kayaking , collecting bottles, and whistling. Her favorite color is tangerine. She has six cats and makes her own jelly. She is funloving, impulsive, and frisky.''

5ftlatina....

Thanks for the start date. Gives me something to look forward to.

You're welcome Michelle, I'm looking forward to it too since it's also my birthday that day...what a present! lol!

Where I live this novela has been shown already. Rene kind of sucks as an evil character he's better of doing his nice guy roles. Also near the end it gets kind of boaring. Just so you recappers know this telenovela last almost six months.

What a birthday present, 5FT. Just what you've always wanted; a new telenovela!

Gaby, thanks for the heads up without any spoilers.

I think these synopses are like the old routine Johnny Carson used to do called "The Edge of Wetness." He would focus on various members of the studio audience and make them putative characters in a soap opera. Of course I am really dating myself now at the mention of Johnny Carson, who went off the air in 1993.

Johnny who??

Valentino Luis was in Flor and Monika Sanchez was in Apuesta de Amor. I recognize a couple other people, but don't know what else they were in.

the other people were in the following novelas.
Karyme Lozano Sonar No Cuesta Nada
Rene Strickler Mariana De La Noche
Maria Sorte La Verdad Oculta
Otto Sirgo Por Un Beso
Jose Carlos Ruiz Mariana De La Noche
Alma Muriel Mariana De La Noche
Soccoro Bonilla Apuesta Por Un Amor
Lordes Munguia Por Un Beso
Marco Munoz Apuesta Por Un Amor

And we can't forget Valentino who is also an alumnus of "Alborada."
They had so many beautiful men in that novela.

Diana Golden and Lourdes Muneguia were in Peregrina most recently. I recall Lourdes had a big role as a dying wife in Prisonera de amor ages ago with Saul Lozano and Maribel Guardia. Isaura Espinoza was the ill fated Blanca in Duelo de Pasiones. Sounds like this is going to be a better role for her.

diana golden is still beautiful, i saw her in ma. mercedes and dat was long ago..stil pretty
