La Traicion, March 4 - Alcides finds Soledad; Arturo finds Beatriz

Everybody seemed to be running around in the woods last night.

I've been catching up on the episodes I missed when I was away and Soledad does not seem to be acting very intelligently. You'd think she might pretend that she believed Hugo was dead and then try to find him without making everyone think she is a nut case. Of course, she has raging hormones from pregnancy so I guess we could cut her some slack.

I do not understand how Alcides concluded out that Hugo wasn't dead by finding out that Hercules bought the judge's ring from Los Burques. Maybe he thinks that it's the judge's body in Hugo's grave. It still seems like a leap.

I guess we know that Soledad is going to name her baby Aurora.

So far, Eloisa hasn't told Paquito about Alcides' confession but Paquito clearly believes that she is holding out on him.

Ursula is going to be out in the garden for a long time if she is trying to water that huge flowerbed with that itty bitty watering can!

It looks like Soledad ends up in the abandoned mine again tomorrow and we know that its coffin-like environment has a bad effect on Hugo.

Thanks Jean for posting the discussion entries. I don't get Telemundo and can only watch online, so I'm always a little behind, but I really like this telenovela! Maybe in part because I'm relying almost totally on my own comprehension without CCs (I do occasionally check myself with another recap site when I know I've missed something).

I also look forward to your Ecuador pictures. My main interest in Telenovelas and Caray Caray has been learning the language and culture, including the culture of all spanish speaking countries. Of course, Mario Cimarro just makes the education process much more enjoyable!

So anyway, muchisimas gracias por todo!

I finally figured out how to put my Tracion posts into the sidebar! I was able to find Melinama's email from last summer about how to do it. It was driving me crazy. The posts aren't in the right order but they're all there and I'll keep it going.

Jean,
Welcome back, just back in time before the conflict between Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela gets ugly.

I like the novella, but I am getting tired of the cat and mouse persecutions.
People get caught, then they escape, lots and lost of shooting, then they get caught again. I might drop out soon if it doesn’t change. The novella is becoming very predictable; one can tell what is going to happen. It does not matter where people go Alcides always find them. Hugo hates Soledad, but is always trying to be around her. Soledad knows that people think she is crazy and she still keeps repeating incessantly that Hugo is alive. And don’t get me started on Beatriz’s brother and his henchmen and Paquito and co. The whole thing is getting on my last nerve. To me this novella is going around in circles. The only people that keep entertained are the Burkes
