Gabriel tells Paloma he loves her, Paloma takes this news in shock and can't seem to process it. She quickly tells him she doesn't love him.

Gabriel says he knows that he also knows how she feels about Emiliano and what she can feel for him does not have to be perfect.

Paloma tells him she can't feel anything from the times she was with him, Gabriel is not discouraged and tells her he doesn't care.

Paloma is like what she says why are you acting like this when i told you i would never love anyone else again especially at this time.

Gabriel says because the truth is the time is marvelous for it to happen quickly.Paloma tells him not to say anything else, she doesn't want to suffer anymore please not at this time. Gabriel says ok.

Cris is getting a visit from Orlando, he informs Orlando how he replaced German with Eugenio. Is that the truth says Orlando very happy for his friend. Cris says yes.

Cris then tells Orlando why he replaced him Orlando tries to say he's young but Cris tells Orlando no that's not the reason but he is working with Carloca.

Orlando has a look that says no you're kidding me on his face.

Eugenio is coming out of Gabriel place and German is waiting to talk to him.German confronts Eugenio in anger at being taken off of Cris and Natalia's case.

They square off with German asking Eugenio what right does he have to take over the defense of Cris and Natalia.

Eugenio for justice and the feeling that the case could be handled better. What facts do you have says German. How says Eugenio can i permit you to throw both their lives away so easily.

German tells him how important this case was for him. Eugenio angrily tells him how he could allow their reputation to be treated like garbage it wasn't difficult understand what he was doing. Absolutely nothing will get him back onto this case.

Eugenio says to German it's a shame that a good and intelligent lawyer allows his ambition to get in the way of serving his clients. But i know Your ambition.

What says German who told you that no one says Eugenio no one but i have known many lawyers with the same desire.

German halting calls him by his full name, yes says Eugenio. German says you're famous in Paris that was you.Eugenio tells him he has worked in a lot of places.

Now presently he will take over Cris case and get justice. German looks like his breakfast didn't go down to well with this news.
 

Orlando can not believe what kind of ethics German does not have and to be in league with Carloca of all people. Now you have a great lawyer he says do you trust him.

Cris why are you surprised at how hateful Carloca is , then he tells him about his mother. Orlando is even more surprised, we know this by him saying what.

Diana abd Inez are having coffee in her living room and she ask Inez when her wedding is going to happen.

Inez says this Saturday and don't forget your my maid of honor and Diana says of course. Then quickly talks about her plans with Samuel.

She talks about going to the the capital and going to the theater, and dancing. Inez says we are talking about my wedding,Diana says i know that but i talking about what i'm going to do after.

Diana says i can't wait to be together with him, Inez tells her once again we are supposed to be talking about my wedding and if you're my friend you would realize how important it is for me.Diana says ok.ok i understand.

Diana says first my dirvorce has to go through with Rafael, Inez says you're really going to divorce Rafael? Yes responds Diana i want to be free so i can be with Samuel and leave RDM and be his wife.

Inez ask in shock you're going to marry Samuel? Please don't tell me that, no says Diana but i will be with him he handsome and rich.

Inez ask is that why you're giving up your house, yes says Diana don't give me that look she tells Inez. Soon Samuel will have a lot of money, Inez just shakes her head at her friends stupidity.

At the park we see a nice family scene of Joel,Monica and her son. This is what we call a ahhhhhhhhhhhh! moment ok back to the real drama.

Camila and RoMEna are talking and putting up party decorations in her house for the baby to come home.Camila then drops the bomb that her father Samuel is dating her mother in law Diana.

By the look of RoMEna she is not exactly taking this news well at all and the Que! which means what in English i don't think RoMEMe MeMEME is happy at all.

Anamar is visiting Emoon in his office and Orlando walks in and gives his a look that says you have good taste in woman.While Emoon introduces them to each other.
 

Rufi is on the phone talking to Dr.B about Paloma who thinks now that he knows the truth about Macarena and Cris will no longer want them to go with him to Mexico.

Dr.B tells her not to worry and to convey to Paloma that their plans have not changed at all. Rufi thanks him.

Paloma is painting another crappy picture, it's funny the best picture she has drawn so far was of Emoon but she ripped it up and burn it go figure.

Paloma is having trouble concentrating drawing a tree, possibly feeling uncomfortable about what Gabriel told her.

Gabriel comes out and see she has stopped working on her crappy painting, he ask what's wrong, Paloma can't look him quite in his eyes.

Gabriel again ask her what's happening. Paloma tells him she can't think, Gabriel ask it's about what i said. Paloma says yes.

He tells her it's best he leaves so she can continue her class, barefooted he picks up his boots and leaves her there to continue paint as awful as she is.

Anamar and Emoon come back from whereever and Angelica hands Emoon some papers he needs to care of.I just like to say the dress little miss hot in pants is wearing is extremely short and if she bent over you guys would be seeing England and France.

They go into his office where Anamar plants a meaningful kiss on the side of his cheek.Emoon smiles happily as he watches her leave.

Carloca ask German how this could have happened, German says i think it was Cris who change his mind and decided to go with Eugenio.

Carloca is beside herself in anger how could he think Eugeniois going to help him and Natalia.German tells her his name is very important not only in Mexico but almost everywhere.

German tells her how Eugenio will get justice for Cris and Natalia, Maldicio says Carloca trying to think how to overcome this newest obstacle in her plans.

German tells her how effective he is and Carloca responds that she will not permit him to mess up her plans and everything concerning Cris.

German warns her that Eugenio is dangerous and famous for his skill, Carloca says that will be a first he will not be a exception.

Cris and Eugenio are meeting and Eugenio is taking notes.Let's hope that Cris is telling him everything about Macarena and Carloca's crazy obsession for him.
 

Rafael is meeting with the only honest lawyer who actually lives in RDM the husband of Orlando first secretary who went on maternity leave.

He's from the law firm of One Honest Lawyer, One crooked and Bought Off Lawyer and One Wet Behind His Ears and Can Be Bought Off Too and Whose Morals are more in Questioned than the experienced Lawyer Law Firm.

Rafael can't thank him enough with getting his divorce from Diana, Rafael can believe it's true that his divorce is finally going through.He tells Rafael in a couple of days it will be final.

Rafael thanks Enersto profusely it's like the weight of the world has been lifted from his shoulders.

Orlando and Angelica are unpacking sliverware from a box,she then tells him how Dario attacked Miriam and she afraid to go abck home.

She ask Orlando if it's ok if she can stay with her. Orlando tells Angelica not to worry and whatever her friends needs is ok.

Orlando ask how long is she staying Angelica one or two months, until a solution is made with the Dario situation.

Angelica then talks up Miriam and tells him how good she is and can he give her job too.Orlando agrees and says no problem, Angelica thanks him and kisses him on the cheek and hugs him.

She tells him that he has a good heart, Orlando stares at her and is suddenly feeling something other than the platonic relationship he thought they had.

He doesn't understand what he is feeling at moment by the look on his face.

Luz takes Xohli to Camila shop and is talking to Monica about her, Camila comes in calling Meche and Monica for the party.

Luz comes up to her and says hi, Camila wonders why she is there. Luz ask Camila how she is doing, Camila says fine and talks about Xohli.They talk about Camila's party and Luz says she is here to buy a doll for Xohli.

Camila then calls Rufi and invites her and Paloma to the party.
 

Samuel is telling Diana that his lawyer gave her these papers to sign and they all need her signature. Foolish Diana happily signs everything because she is mermerized and hangs on his every word.

Samuel deflects any question she has for him,He tells her in one or two months she will have all of her money back.Diana does not read or even glance at any of the paper work she is signing away all of her assets for.

Samuel hurriedly rushes her to sign everything, Diana thinks they will all be happy her and Emoon and RoMEna. Samuel then tells her how jealous RoMEna is. She may not like them to be together.

Diana assures him that she and RoMEna get along real well.Samuel tries to talk her out of telling RoMEna about him and her. He tells about the new baby and everything.

Meanwhile RoMEna is at Samuel hotel with the receptionist who just called Samuel room and tells her no answer.

RoMEna can't believe she can't get in contact with her sleazy father not even his cell. She then leaves him note, Anamar walks up to the desk. The receptionist calls RoMEna by her name which Anamar recognizes.

She ask RoMEna if she is the wife of Emoon Saenz, shesays i know your name. RoMEna says yes we see these two size each other up as what kind of competition to get the affections of Emoon.

Orlando and Emoon are having a man to man talk about Anamar, Emoon tells him they were once novios in Monterrey.Orlando says ahhh that's why she's visiting you now.

Orlando tells Emoon she is interested in him, doesn't want to hear this.Orlando tells him i want you to be careful, Emoon surprised says of Anamar.

Orlando says yes, Emoon tells him i don't think of her like that i don't love her. Then the broken record starts again i only love Paloma.

Orlando responds by saying i know what you're felling but it is dangerous to be Anamar and feel what you do for Paloma. Then there is RoMEna who would kill for you.

Emoon tells Orlando that he really isn't interested in any other girls. Orlando tells him ok it's just that he wanted to warn him in advance of the possible situation.

Paloma and Rufi are cooking and she talks to her about Gabriel and what she thinks and feels about him.Paloma another broken record moment talks about her love for Emoon.
 

Paloma tells Rufi how she can never love another, Rufi tells her about the old tried but true love the you're with method and move on from Emoon.

Rufi says so what he's your instructor, he's the one your near too.Paloma brings up roadblock number one Inaki and then roadblock number two Emoon as her reasons why she won't fall for Gabriel.

Rufi tries to keep hammering in young block head Paloma to move on from her heartache and live life to it's fullest, i say good luck with that Rufi.

Carloca is ringing the doorbell of Gabriel abode, when Eugenio walks uo to her.Eugenio says wow you're here by yourself.

Carloca asks him who does he thinks he is when RDM has plenty of lawyers who can take over Cris and Natalia case. I would say this a very wrong move on Carloca part, but then again we in viewerville know the Purple One is not working with a full deck anyway.

Forgive me says Eugenio because even he can not believe she asked him that,Please says Carloca you shouldn't defend either Cris or Natalia.

Why are you interested in this case aren't you enemies with your family he questions her.For my sister who was involved with Cris that is the only reason why i am interested in this case.

I don't want to have her name associated with his,it appears i have to accept the innocence of Cris and free him in the name of your sister but thank you anyway Carloca he says.

Carloca who missed the class how to make friends with honey instead is her own nasty and rude self.I don't want anyone to use anything in the name of my sister and her life only Cris's demands Carloca.

Eugenio a master at this game of cat and mouse is it Cris or is it you Carloca, he ask her.

Rafael is in his office with Xohli and Luz, she tells him how they went to Camila shop and looks for a reaction.She then ask him what he thinks about her making Xohli her daughter.

Rafael ask her how can you think like this after a couple of days, meanwhile this conversation is going on while the kid is sitting right there on Rafael lap.

Geez you guys sensitive much,Luz tells him she loves her, and tells him she can be a mother for Xohli and wants her very much. Rafael looks on with misgivings.
 

Carloca ask Eugenio what do you mean, Eugenio tells her it was just only a question that's all. I think there are a lot of things for me to know about you.

Carloca glints and glares Purple at him, Eugenio ask her to permit to have coffee with her. Surprising Carloca agrees to it and would she accompany him inside and he likes very much that she accepted his offer.

Diana eagerly invites RoMEna into her house,she ask about her grandson. RoMEna tells her he is fine, Diana switches the talk to Camila's wedding.

Diana talks about poor Rafael and how Camila left him for the other guy and she might change her mind again and get someone younger.

RoMEna then tells Diana to stop because she is talking about her mother.Diana ask for forgiveness but she has received a lot of pain from them. She talks about Rafael and his women and she free of him.

RoMEna ask her so you don't include yourself, no says Diana of course no. Ahhh i see says RoMEna i know about your plan i want to you to make it clear to me.

What things are you talking about ask Diana, what are you doing with my father says RoMEna to Diana. Diana in shock that she knows her mouth starts to open and RoMEna ask it's the truth yes or no.

Diana finally at a loss for words tells her yes, how could you says RoMEna. Diana says she is divorcing Rafael and your father is divorce from your mother.

I can believe this says RoMEna, Diana tries to tell RoMEna why they are together how handsome he is and how happy they are together.

Diana goes on about how when she hears his name and how marvelous he is and this will make her her daughter twice.

RoMEna not wanting to hear any of this conversation about Dear Old Conniving Dad pushes Diana away who was hugging her and telling her no way.

We used to be friends, accomplices and you now as my step mother not happening and pushes her out of the way and leaves.Diana runs after her calling her daughter but RoMEna keeps on trucking.

Diana wonders why she doesn't want her with her father, then looks around her empty and very lonely house and ask it why.
 

Eugenio bring s Carloca a cup of Purple, i mean coffee she thanks him.Carloca tries to play nice this time because her voice is a lot nicer than before.

Eugenio says i am listening, I want to first ask you about your decision to defend Cris and Natalia and tells him that he shouldn't worry about this town.

His responsibility is in Paris, Eugenio tells her i defend all innocents no matter where.

Carloca you need to be careful of what Cris wants my sister was young when he fooled her and poor Natalia she committed the sin of murder.

Eugenio tells her yes the situation is very grave and serious, Carloca says she is glad he is not with the church anymore and that he was expelled.

Eugenio says i am curious why you have had a lot of contact with him, Carloca surprised that he knows this lies and says she knows about other victims of his.

Carloca tells Eugenio she can't say anything more because it might effect Paloma. Why can't you ask Eugenio it's for the case and you should tell about more victims.

Carloca hems and haws meaning lies and lies some more in her case. But it hard for her to tell him about what she knows.


Eugenio looks at her like is this all you got, and ask her is this the truth Carloca says she is doing this because she does not want anymore harm to come to her sister name because she was close to Cris.

Carlaco says i ask you not to defend that man in the name of my sister trying so desperately to convince him.Eugenio tells her I know i never had someone equivocally and completely try to convince me not to defend someone with their own mouth so convincingly.

He then tells her that Cris is totally innocent of all of the crimes he is accuse of. Carloca does not like hearing this. She reverts back to her natural nasty rude self.

Carloca tells him he will not be clean and that his career will be garbage also she then leaves wafting in a Purple of fury at not getting her own way.

Eugenio smiles after her grand exit and loves the confrontation.

Rafael tries talking some sense into Luz about her impulsiveness, i say good luck with that.How being a mother will change her life as she like to live it.

He wants her to think seriously about it, because it also affect Xohli too. He tells her how Emiliano and how being a father affected him.
 

Rufi is ironing something Purple and talking to Paloma how they wil be together.Rufi tells her how Gabriel father is now defending PJC and Paloma ask what about German.

I dont know but it's better that PJC has Eugenio defending instead, Paloam tells her she doesn't want to know any thing about PJC.

Rufi tells Paloma there is a lot of deception going on and not to let it confuse her.You must look and wait for the truth to come out. How can you believe someone who has a good personality like PJC could do what he is accuse of.

Camila is at her house i thought this was a coming home party for the baby but maybe it's a bachelorette party for Camila.

RoMEna is by herself stewing when Camila gets up and ask her how she is feeling.Camila says i sure you're thinking about your father.

Dontt ever think about him, RoMEna ask why are you so sure, Camila says Diana isn't rich so he won't be with her for long.

Rufi and Paloma come in wearing the same type of long skirt.I cann see why Rufi dresses like that but Paloma are you for real.
Did you borrow one of Rufi's skirts or Elena's from Sorti.

Camila greets them both as they come in with RoMEna looking on, who makes a snide remark about how her new father will be very rich.

Leave it to RoMEna to spoil the mood.

Dario"s editor looks at a article in the paper accusing him of being a plagarist and stealing his latest book which was identical to someone else's.


Dario comes into her office and she ask what this, Dario says he can't believe it blames Anelica and the editor mentions the scandal this article is causing.

The editor then says if any of what this article is accusing you of is true his career as a writer is over.Dario assures her not to worry but the editor tells him it better not be true.
 

Orlando is looking over some papers when Angelica comes in and shows him the article written about Dario.

She thanks Orlando for his help with his contacts in the news and Orlando says you know i believe in you.She thanks hims profusely.

Someone calls and wants to speak to Angelica right away my guess it's the cornered rat Dario to get Angelica to retract her statements to the press. We'll wait and see about that though.

Liliana is walking down the street on her cell talking to Paloma who tells her that Gabriel told her he's in love with her.

Liliana squeals in happiness meanwhile RoMEna comes downstairs and listens to Paloma's side of the conversation. She 's not happy to hear another guy has fallen for Paloma.

She even less happy to hear how Paloma is still in love with her husband Emoon.Liliana warns Paloma be careful of that witch RoMEna maybe she should have told her when answering her phone always look to see who's behind her.

Emoon is crossing the street and come upon Gabriel who is always polite to the jealous and rude Emoon.

Gabriel nods and says hello to him Emoon says do you have time, Gabriel tells jim i was going to ask you the same.

Emoon i want to know the truth, Gabriel tells him about who Paloma is interested in. Wow says Emoon i have only one question for you.

Gabriel says yes what do think of Paloma at this moment nothing but in the future i think about us being together.

Emoon gets upset being question by Gabriel and ask him what is he crazy about her. Gabriel tells him no he isn't like that about her.

Emoon ask him is she in love with you,Gabriel tells him no she not in love with him.Gabriel lets him know that he loves her anyway.

He says what she feels for him is different from what she feels for you.

Preview Paloma tells the La Loca de Purple that she and Rufi are leaving an the Purple one looks like she will be giving birth to a Purple cow.

Frank this is in response to your comment from yesterday i enjoy the music also from this novela.

It makes the conversation be in the background instead of the other way.Now since i taken up being the Friday recapper i have to say it's very distracting and difficult to pick crucial parts of the conversation when it's being drown out by over powering loud music.

What makes it even more difficult for me is my partial hearing loss in one ear.

Other than that i have no complaints about ENDA i expect it to dominate the Premios and Novelas awards show.

Excellent script good actors and location. Best Female Villain Letcia Calderon as Carloca, Best Adult Protaganist Arturo Peniche, Best Young Female Villain Attair Jarabo, Best Young Male Villain the actore who portrays German.

Also the director, producers and writers should all win awards for this show.

Good observation about Rafa and Luz' conversation about the child with the little tyke sitting right there on Luz' lap! Not very sensitive.

And I too was struck by the dumpiness of Paloma's outfit that she wore to the bachelorette party...profoundly unattractive.

Romina, on the other hand, looked great in her outfit. I guess we are supposed to understand that Paloma's inner beauty and purity are what enflame so many young men in RDM.

And yes, Anamar's skirt was incredibly short but I had to admire those quadriceps muscles. That girl has really been working out!

I just loved Carloca and Eugenio going at it. She was getting so flustered because she couldn't believe he wasn't buying her story! How can that be. I only tell the truth and everyone always believes me! Pretty much a priceless moment.

It looked like good news was coming Rafa's way as Diana was now going to get the divorce. But... RoMEMEna doesn't approve of her being with papa Sam. Hopefully she'll still go through with the divorce.. before she finds out what a bum Sam really is.

I guess to make Pal's skirt they had to take some from Anamar's skirt. Low on funds in the costume department and you have to make do. :) Looked a lot like the outfit in the next show.

I wonder if Gabriel would have had Paloma burn that picture if it would have been something other than Emoon? :)

RoMEMEna vs. Anamar, looks liked a pretty even match. They both looked overconfident. Very sure of themselves. They both may have thought the other would have looked different, but they both appear to be somewhat the same.
 

Thanks for another fantastic and complete recap Anon2. You were so correct in saying that Gabe is always polite in his interactions with Emoony and Emoony is always rude to him. Gabe asked him what can he offer Paloma, and that's when Emoomy said, nothing now, but perhaps in the future. That just showed how selfish he is being, because he wants Pal to just wait for him in limbo. Whereas Gabe can offer her something now (but it seems, not in the future as we are being led to believe). Which is kind of perfect, if you think about it. Gabe could make her very happy, help make her a free spirit, and perhaps if she knows ahead of time about his upcoming demise, she won't react as badly to death (with anger and fear) as she has in the past (as everyone she loved was always taken suddenly and unexpectedly from her). Then later after Gabe has passed, maybe Emoony will have found a way to be free from his situation and they can be together again. Seems like a good solution to me.

It was downright FUN watching the interaction between EuGenius and the Purple One. She could just not get to him and he had the lovely smirk ( sighing)on his face.You just knew he was not only not buying a thing she said, but loving every minute of driving her batty. Yes,madam, I am not of RMD, which means I haven't been affected by whatever's in the air or water that makes people in this town buy your purpleness. Love, love,love it. I could watch Cesar dissect her all night.

Emi seemed just a little too happy to have Ana around and didn't seem to mind her slight forwardness in the least. For once, Orlando seemed to be offering some sound fatherly advice, and that's when he decides not to listen. What is with these people in this town? Good advice doesn't seem to sink in.

I feel a chorus of Purple Haze kicking in.

Anyway, the stupidity that is Diana. All I can say is her scenes make for a good time to refresh my coffee in the kitchen. No one can be that stupid!It's painful to watch.

RoMeME - what is it with her? Maybe I can see her ticked about Pal still loving Emotetoomuch, but she looked like she was going to explode just hearing about how Gabe feels about Pal. She wants her cake, eat it too with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Oh and a cherry. And it seems that we may have to start dubbing her the Green Queen ( Purple being already taken). Notice lately that she's been wearing a lot of green and the top she left behind when with Germy was green. Hmmmmmmm?

I hope Luz is not in for a huge disappointment. She's becoming so attached to that little girl. Can't figure out how this may all play out and how it affects her and Rafa.

As for Emi - someone just slap him up the side of the head. I know he's supposed to be our main hero (personally I'd take Gabe and his darling daddy over him any day), but he does some truly boneheaded things. What was the whole purpose of calling out Gabe at the end there? He and Romeme must be taking the same cooking class - wants his cake...you know the rest. He really ticked me off last night.
 

Loved the recap! My comprehension is improving SO much...I have now devoured all the previous recaps and am caught up!

If I'm correct, telenovelas must be produced similar to the old Hollywood Studio "Star" system, where there is a core group of actors who appear routinely in novelas (like being under contract with the studio.) I was home part of Wednesday between office checkups at the doctor and saw so many familiar faces from Sorti, Enda as I browsed the Spanish channels; and on the Net, saw a clip of an upcoming possibility for a time slot here, (Corazón Salvaje), which I recognized Emiliano, Iñiki, and Camilla in it!

To reiterate others comments: 1. couldn't believe Anamar's outift, thinking dress or long top and forgot her pants. 2. Pal's long shirt and 3. apparently Xochi is invisible since they talk about her as if she;s not there.

Up front I'm going to say I'm not on the Gabe bandwagon. Yes Sir Mopesalot is selfish in not wanting Paloma to be around any other guy but in my mind Gabe is worse. He knows how Pal feels but ignores her when she tells him she can't love anyone. In addition he knows he has some fatal illness but wants her anyway knowing full well it won't be long before she gets to experience the death of yet another person she cares about. And knowing also that she is being hammered by ugly secrets and seeing how she reacts he still keeps his. Not galan material at all. Lots of selfishness to go around with the young men.

Now Don E eviscerating the Purple Cow - a wondrous thing to see. I may be wrong but it seemed to me that when she was weaving her purple web of lies about Cris and his victims she coyly said that Cris had attacked her. Don E is giving her plenty of rope to hang herself and she is going for it full stop. And the queen of hypocrites claims she is upset about her sister's reputation getting dragged through the dirt when she is the one who provided all the details and orchestrated the entire thing. Her downfall should be amazing.

The hotel confrontation between the its all about me girls was hilarious. Obviously the miss from Monterrey forgot to pack any pants to go with that blouse she was wearing and she did seemed shocked that Romena was not some dowdy version of Paloma. The two of them were hissing like two cats on the back fence.

I honestly have to say that Paloma has the crappiest wardrobe of any young protagonista I've ever seen. I'm hard pressed to think of one attractive outfit she has ever worn. I remain stunned by how self centered Ro is. She is ticked off at her slimy father but can't stand the idea he might be with Diana (or apparently anyone else). And Diana who is obviously delusional thinking that piece of dirt is handsome. She must have a severe lack of taste or perhaps that beating she made Ines give her affected her eyesight.

And finally I thought that Don E got through to German a bit. I thought he looked a little ashamed so perhaps his reformation is on the way.

Christian De Le Fuentes who is another good looking hottie is also in the new version of CS, yet still i'm not tempted to watch a 50 year old guy prance around in tight horse riding pants acting like he is 20 something.

Decie girl you have made some very insightful and valid points concerning Gabriel attitude towards Paloma.

I want to to believe that even though what everything thing you said is true. Gabriel's purpose is to show Paloma yes you will lose loved ones from time to time.

Don't use it as a excuse to keep yourself from living and even loving someone new and different.Be open to all possibilities that life has to offer you.

Allow yourself to be free and express it, whether it's through your art work or even speaking your mind. Don't hide and close yourself off from the world.

That's my take on why Gabriel was brought in for her, because Paloma has lived in such a strict and repressive environment.Then add on the lies and manipulation from Carloca. Plus include the hidden secrets of Macarena and Rufi.

German can he be redeemed even though it looked liked he was shamed by Eugenio. German still does not get it,i think his wakeup call might be if Eric tells how he saw him taking a bribe from Carloca.

I think the method to the wardrobe madness for poor Paloma is that in this fairy tale land of RMD, she is our Cinderella. She has little of her own, is reliant on a wicked aunt (replacing evil stepmother) and suffers at the mercy of selfish and jealous friend ( replace selfish step-sisters). They can't really dress her in outfits like Romeme, and up until recently she was in that dreadful uniform all day. Now that's she's out of school, would have been nice for the writer's to put her in a job so she could earn her money and dress better.
That said, that outfit she showed up in at Camilla's was just dreadful. I think wardrobe wen a bit far in making her look poor an frumpy with that one.
 

Daisynjay i just never made the connection until your comments about RoMEna and the color green being prominent in her choice of clothes.

I guess we were all too focus on the mad Purple nut job running amok that we didn't see it.

So let just add this little bit on RoMEna and her jealous color of green with envy. It's nasty shade of green that reminds me of the scene from the Exorcist with Linda Blair head spinning 360 degrees around.

Lets us say while Carloca is Purple with rage and violent.

Romeme is with green with jealousy of anyone who takes the attention away from her. La Loca thinks she is the queen (thus the royal purple) and that everyone should bow to her.

Is that why Emi wears so much brown? Always down in the dumps? Hey, this gets fun!

This was an enjoyable episode. The Clash of Titans between Carlota and Eugenio was excellent. I backed it up and watched it another time. Also, they are a pleasure to listen to since they both speak so clearly.

Diana has a huge anvil hanging over her. I'm not clear exactly what Sammy the Snake is planning. Is he really getting some capital using the deed as collateral? Or is he planning to sell the house now that he apparently has title to it or something? I agree that I hope the divorce happens before the truth comes out.

The scene with Germán and Eugenio was also excellent. Germán came out with guns firing, registering indignation at having his big case taken away. Eugenio reduced him to nothing in short order. And, yes, Germán did feel guilty after hearing E's comments about honest defense. Only at the end did he realize who he was dealing with, the legend of every law school in Mexico.
 

Oh, I forgot to say this. Romina showed what she really thinks of her mother in law by not telling her what she knows about her father. Romina could have spared her being cheated if she'd told her.
 

Yes, some of the ladies her have signature colors. Romena is green and sometimes sea blue. Carloca is of course purple. Camilla is red (especially when she's in a good mood, and I've noticed she hasn't worn the color in a while). Macarena was pastel floral prints. And Paloma is drab.

Novelera you give too much credit to our little Miss Queen of Sensitivity, not only was i not surprised that she did not warn Diana.

Knowing from what we have seen from her nasty shade of green jealous envy. RoMEna would think she deserves everything that Samuel does to her, that 's how she thinks.

Miss it should always be about me is never happy even when she what she thought she desired. Noticed the snide comment she made at her mother's Bachelorette party.

Then it's RoMEna wants everyone to dance to her own tune and control everyone and if someone does not do what RoMEna wants that's when she gets very nasty with her comments.

She another one who needs a very rude awakening too.

Ann, I thought I noticed her a little thicker around the middle also. She's still quite lovely, with that perfect heart-shaped face. I like her hair much better the way she's wearing it now. Early on her pony tail was pulled so tight it gave me a headache just looking at it!

I've read horror stories about the six-day a week, 14 hour recording sessions TN actors are subjected to, so maybe Alysson has been eating a lot of fattening catered food on the set.
 

Novelera, even though I think she has put on a little weight, by no means does she look heavy.

I like her hair this way, too. She is very pretty.

Paloma/Allisson is probably still growing. She was only 16 during this show. When I see her now, she has grown leaps and bounds from when she was on Guapos.

As long as we are on the color theme did anyone notice that when the miss from Monterrey unpacked her junk and lay down on the bed thinking things were ripe for her an Mr. Gray/Brown that she was clutching what looked like that same green top Ro left at German's. Another potential Miss Green.

The comment about enjoying the scene with Miss Purple and Don E being a pleasure because they both speak so clearly rang a bell with me. One of the things that is interesting in this novela is that almost all of the cast are Mexicans and therefore the accents are the same. I've watched novelas with more international casts and been awash in accents from Colombia (very difficult for me), Cuba, Argentina, Mexico and Uruguay. Then throw in a script with slang and it is torture.

I plan to skip CS at all costs. It is always hard to get into a new novela after one as good as this and the 50 year old in tights holds no appeal for me. I read that there were several cast changes in CS with good people pulling out, there have been reports of turmoil on the set including a fight scene Yanez that got way out of hand and in any case remaking a great classic that had a first rate cast with a substandard one is always a mess. It would be like remaking Casablanca with Tom Cruise and Lindsay Lohan starring. I'm just hoping the unknown as yet novela that is going to fill one of these slots will b a good one.
 

Decie girl ITA i went on esmas last night because the horrible producer of the new CS is also producing another novela classic called Cuna de Lobos.

William Levy will be in it for 13 episodes, they are killing the new CS version and saying how could he even think to cast a 50 year old guy for a role meant for someone in their mid to late twenties near thirty years old part.

Needless to say now Mejia the producer for CS, is casting younger actors for next novela Cuna de Lobos.

After seeing the one picture of Eduardo looking like he is wearing a black diaper and sucking his middle age gut. I couldn't stop laughing every time i tried going to sleep that picture kept popping in my head.

I speculated since the major novela change that when ENDA ends they might put Mi Pecado in as it's replacement. Since we are in Ultimas Semanas weeks heading for the end.

We should start seeing promos soon in the next couple of weeks of what will be replacing ENDA.

I think Univision is making a mess of things with these moves of theirs but we will have to wait and see.
 

I have also read that the set of CS was anything but a friendly, especially between Eduardo Y and Cristian de la Fuente. I too watched a preview and just had the hardest time thinking I could sit through the TN. Sebastian Zurita is also in it and plays a character who "suffers for love". Agh! A mopey swashbuckler? Sorry, couldn't resist.
 

Anon, just saw your comment on Mi Pecado. It looks interesting and I like Eugenio and Maite. How is the series doing now? Something worth looking forward to?
 

Daisynjay a lot of people on youtube were raving about it and i believe it has done well in ratings. It's not the runaway hit like CCEA but still from what i read it's a good novela.

Maite Perroni has a good fan base in Mexico and over here so it should do decent i haven't seen any of the episodes on youtube so i'll wait and see once it gets here. It finished up in Mexico in November of last year.

As for the tensions on the set of CS i was reading how a fight got out of hand between Eduardo and someone on the set of CS maybe it was Christian de la Fuente.

I read also that Sebastian Zurita was in it too, a mopey swashbuckler LOL love it.

As for the set of CS i suppose with the poor ratings bad casting and and the one of the worst producers at the moment in novelas Mejia i would be surprised there wasn't any tension.

These actors have to think about how a novela which was a classic of it's time and now this new updated version is the laughingstock of the industry right now.

Heck yeah i would be pissed off too that i signed on to be a part of a drama that unintentionally is a comedy in itself.
 

OMG! I wondered how long it would take before some idiot decided to mess with one of the greatest of all time (and before my time) Cuna de Lobos and Mejia. Dios Mio it would only be worse of it Juan Osorio.

As for Sebastian Zurita he IS only 23 and this is his first novela. He comes with superb acting credentials. His parents are both brilliant and extremely well known and Sebastian studied at the Lee Strasberg school in the US not in the Televisa factory like way too many of the young ones like William Levy. He is currently stuck with the mopey galan roles but it will be interesting to watch his career over the next few years.
 

Decie girl i have to disagree with you i don't feel Sebastian a good actor yet if this is his first novela it shows i feel he's sometime trying too hard in some of his scenes.

As for William i'm a big fan he he has improved with each of his novelas. Now for the Televisa factory you're talking about.

Maite Perroni is a product of that factory and i would say she has turned out real good but she has been doing it for a long time since she was a little girl.

As for the producer Juan Osorio he is the producer of Mi Pecado and if you compared Osorio to Mejia.

Well Jarocha could give the best rundown on who the worst is between the two them. Pop on over to the Sorti page if you get a chance and read what Jarocha says about Mejia.

I would say IMO that Mejia is the worst.

Maybe if CS turns out to be a bomb at it's time slot, since Univision is pulling the same shenanigans as major networks pull, they'll move it to some afternoon slot and give us something else. Of course, that would take awhile, but maybe we won't have to have the 9:00 slot tied up with it forever.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I didn't say that Sebstian was good only that he has been extremely well trained and comes from great genes which should make his development interesting.

As for the Televisa factory it tends to produce actors who rely on ear buds to say their lines ( Levy showed them and talked about them in an interview). That means they don't learn to develop a charactor fully. I haven't seen Maite in anything so can't comment fairly. Yes their are actors who come out of the system that have real talent so you can't totally fault the system.

As for who is worse my vote still goes to Osorio. The worst novelas I've ever seen were his. Sometimes there is a vulgar element in them and in at least two cases he had major problems with his leading men and fired them in the middle which certainly did nothing for the novelas in question.

I'll also cut a bad producer some slack if the story is good but I am wary going in. And yep Mejia is no prize either.
 

Daisynjay i'm going by what a lot of people are saying on the Sorti page concerning Mejia and his work on FELS. After reading that he's producing Cuna de Lobos it seems a lot of people share the same sentiment concerning Mejia.

What are the novelas that Osorio has produced i liked to be forewarned because so many of the Caray crowd was talking so badly about FELS when MEPS was on.

I asked them was it really all that bad they said yes and then some.

Also with the interview concerning William wearing ear buds i was under the impression that all of the actors wear them because of the work schedule itself.

Working from ten to twelve hours a day six days a week and when your two stars get most of the screen time. That's what the article said in Entertainment Weekly described how they mass produced their novelas on Televisa.

I don't know if you saw CCEA with William and Maite but the first part of the novela both actors were shining and bringing in great performances.

Then it seemed like the writers were hijacked and the story and plots were too stupid to be believable, but it happens a lot i guess novela land.
 

I did watch CCEA at the start and was enjoying it. Work and some commitment I made to volunteer caused me to miss most of the second half, so It's hard for me to judge the entire TN. My gut feeling is that at least MiP is a better bet than CS.

This was a great episode. I was actually bouncing up and down and clapping as Eugenio slowly and skillfully wound Carloca into his web. His smirk was the cherry on top. If anyone in town was at all observant, they would have noticed by now that when La Loca's b.s. gets challenged, she gets louder and louder until she just shuts down the conversation. It's a sure sign she's lying, but Eugenio seems to be the only one with the brainpower to notice and unravel her craziness.

Diana is the worst friend ever. I can't believe she's so smitten by smarmy Sammy she would really ditch her supposed best friend on her wedding day to go skipping off to the city. I hope Inés finds someone new.

Camila's party looked thoroughly dull. Way to be a terrible guest, Paloma--show up looking frumpy and then stand in the hall talking on the phone. Ugh.
 

CCEA was really good in the beginning. Maite Perroni is a skilled actress with great screen presence. The show went bad after it got extended and the original writing team quit. We weren't sure they managed to hire new writers, because it seemed like they just recycled the same script for a few months. Seriously, several months of repetitive conflict was based on Marichuy's belief that Juan Miguel was responsible for her blindness, which made NO SENSE AT ALL.

Eugenio Siller really charmed me by the end of Guapos.

I'd much rather see them in Mi Pecado than watch geriatric pirates and mopey swashbuckling.

I think Sebastian Zurita has the abilities to do more than mope. Remember when Emo dressed as a nun to sneak around the convent school? There was a lot of comedy in that scene and he did it well.

William Levy was kind of the same way, I think...by the end of CCEA, his acting skills had improved a lot, but his character was written to mostly cry and act stupid. Then in Sortilegio he was given a chance to shine, and took it.

Julia i never new the original writers quit on CCEA but now it explains a lot of repetitive plots and the awful second grade writing in the second half of the show.

Wow to think because the show was a runaway hit they tried to extend it to 300 episodes but Maite's farewell tour with RBD and then William got offered the Sorti role made them end it at 194 episodes.

I have to wonder if alot of the original production left also, i mean how in the heck do you film a scene of a supposed pregnant woman giving birth with tight blue jeans on?

I still can't believe it.

Heck anything is possible in Novelaland re Romina's gigantic premie who will soon come walking home from the hospital carrying his incubator under his arm and Romina bouncing around two days after having a C-section and being at deaths door.
 

Decie girl i'm big Levy fan so at the time i finished CCEA on the internet and watched it again on TV when it finished up here.

Let me tell you the comments that i read on youtube about what they did to CCEA make us look like amateurs in the criticism department.

Most of those comments along with the episodes were deleted for copying rights by Televisa.

When i saw the episode i replayed it several times because i could not believe a major network would or could ever be that lazy.

Well we found it in Univision,based on what Jarocha said how much power Mejia has with Televisa i blame him also for allowing something like that to happen.

While i'll believe about your criticism of Osorio and his novelas i haven't seen any of his to comment on.

You can't run a TV broadcast channel so sloppily like Mejia is running Univision.
