Caray, Caray!

I have been following the goncho summaries pretty regularly. I commented a few times the first week after finally figuring out how to get on but lost my password and wasnt able to get back on. So just sat in the backgound enjoying what others wrote. I would be willing to give Dinero a go as a reapper but could only do every other week. My spanish listening skill isnt the best and I rely heavily on the CC. ( my DVR allows me to slow forward and reread the captions slowly when I get stuck.] I do much better reading spanish. My spelling is also atrocious. And my sense of humor is somewhat skewed. I would be willing to try on this Monday to recap but would need lots of help especially on figuring out how to post it.

I can write a bare-bones recap this Tuesday, but I ABSOLUTELY cannot commit to continuing to recap the show. Melinama, do you want me to do it? with the understanding that:
A. I might quit at any time, and I STRONGLY doubt that I'll stay for the duration, and
B. of course you are totally welcome to replace me with anyone who steps forward - I would happily surrender the slot.

I'm hopeful that if we have recaps for the first few cap's, the show will build a following here on Caray, and one of those fans will be willing to recap. I'm just trying to be a bridge while the show builds a following.

Sounds good to me, Paula. Trying to come up with five new recappers in a few days is tough! I like your approach. Write what you feel like writing and stick it up on the blog! We'll see who comes along... Thanks.
 

Hi, I'm Amy. I had some technical difficulties with my email account earlier but all should be well now. I've been watching novelas and reading recaps for about 5 years now and look forward to contributing!
 

Paula! I've missed you, guapa. It'll be neato being able to enjoy a genuine Paula H recap again. Have you seen un Gancho al Corazón? If not, treat yourself.

Yo, Carlos! Que bueno de verte! I watched a few minutes of Gancho and just couldn't get into it. Also I'm watching the latest Camil TN on YouTube, and with my schedule, I can't handle more than one novela at a time. I'm in a quandry though, for what to do starting Monday:

7 AM: Previous night's LEP is up on YouTube, with my favorite actor Camil.
4 PM: TBLMOE in his prime hotness on Telefutura (Amor Real).
8 PM: A Gaitán novela I've never seen, and the chance to share it with the Caray! clan.

Camil, Colunga, and Gaitán, five days a week? How can I miss any of them? Then again, how can I squeeze them all in? I guess I have to remove unnecessary things from my life. Like working. And sleeping. And talking to my family. Hmm. Maybe not. Tried that once. Didn't work out so good.
 

Paula, even if you're not intrigued by this hilarious, well up until this week, TN, I invite you to read our recaps for this week. I'm pretty sure that all 5 of us were influenced by you. I'm certain that you will recognize your imprint when you read Monday's recap, and besides, you were the one who suggested that I might make a passable recapper in the first place. You asked me to Email you and I thought that I was in trouble for an impertinent comment I posted. I still put my foot in it from time to time. Behold the monster that you created. In any event my heart soars like an eagle having you back. What a day! Jarocha gives me an affectionate hug and kiss and our Paula's back. ¡La Vida es buenisima!

So if I do this, someone needs to tell me how I go about posting the recap. Carlos,my DVD recorder and player is a toshiba brand. I record from my cable DVR then write it to the DVD It wasnt that expensive. I am on my way to work in about 15 minutes so will check back in later this afternoon. with just a little intrepadation,am looking forward to this.

Carlos and Sylvia, thank you for your warm welcome. Carlos, I don't know which flatters me more, tus commentos tan hermosos, or my influence that yes, you're right, I do see in your recap. Passable recapper? Monster I created? MY LEFT FOOT! I knew long ago that you'd make a darned good recapper if we could just give you a hard enough shove to get you started. And I was right.

Yes, friends, it will be fun to be back in the Caray! circle again. I had a blast watching Colombian Betty with the board on TNW. There were so many serious fans there, I felt like the new kid on the block (for those who don't know me, I'm a regular anorak about Fea). In spite of all that, there's nothing like the community here on Caray!.
