This episode starts off where last night ended with Eugenio confronting the crazy one with some of her crimes.



Eugenio is urging Carloca to confess the truth to him now or else,while Carloca stands there stunned with the knowledge that Eugenio has discovered all her misdeeds. Eugenio raises his voice to her again asking her to confess the truth to her crimes.I mean the man is all up and personal in her face and space.

Carloca who is used to denying the truth ask him what the heck is he talking about,but Eugenio ask her why she can't trust him.Trust you with what La Loca ask him, how can you insist your innocence ask Eugenio.

He brings up Inaki and Alonso how he was curious about her also and he then tells her about her involvement in their deaths and tells her you are not innocent.

Carloca hearing this tells him enough, just stop please just leave my house right now. At this time Carloca is in a excited frantic panic mode, she calls Eugenio the crazy one and ask him to leave.

She tells him she doesn't want to listen to anything else he has to say to her.Eugenio tells her there's something else she should know that he will renounce her if he has to of everything she has done.

Carloca who's eye are wide and wild get even bigger upon hearing this, you can't believe what you're saying ask Carloca to him.How can you accuse me of doing this i am innocent a impassioned Carloca tells him.

Paloma and Gabriel now exchange a meaningful look at each other, she then agrees to do it. I'll go now Gabriel tells her he will go with her no it's not necessary she tells him.

Yes Paloma it is necessary the whole audience is yelling at the screen at this time our Genius Eugenio has zero points and is collecting negative points by the second.

No thank you Gabriel whatever my aunt has to tell me is between me and her only i don't want you involved.Paloma tells Eugenio that this is the only time she will ever go back into that house.

Eugenio nods his head in agreement and says i'm sure that you are sincere about this.

Meanwhile Paloma looks uneasy with her decision and so is everyone else who is watching this novela.
 

Carloca is praying with the lace mantilla scarf around her neck when she gets a phone call she answer it she listens to whoever is talking and thanks Eugenio she'll be thanking him for the rest of her life.


Carloca hangs up smiling and walks around her bedroom she throws the phone on her bed. She then goes to her full length mirror handling her scarf making sure she a sharp dressed serial killer.


She addresses her own image and says to herself i always get whatever i want and blows a small kiss at herself.


Previews for the final seven episodes show Carloca arguing and fighting with Paloma and Gabriel, Orlando angry and fighting Rafael and Emoon running, Paloma in her wedding dress crying, Rufi yelling and looking upstairs in the house of gloom. Cris and Eugenio and the rest of the gang trying to fight against RDM's own axis of evil Carloca.

Anon, wonderfully detailed recap as usual. You had quite an episode!

Our dear Eugenio - if this TN has shown anything, it has shown every character, even the good ones, to have their weaknesses and flaws. And especially the "WTH" moments, mostly concerning La Loca. A good villian has to have some aiding and abetting to get their job done I suppose. So, like everyone else in this god-forsaken town, he has fallen into her web as well.
I love your reference to the Serial killers for dummies book.There were far too many Dude, Wake Up! moments for me last night and I had to keep reminding myself that the writers needed to do something to build to the finale. Just not loving this sudden "love" of Eugenio, and it is a bit unbelievable, but that's the plot device they went with. We just know it will end badly for him, and though she has her sights on Pal, I think Eugenio and Gabe will be the ones to bear the worst of it. Our poor Gabe is fading fast anyway...argh!

The whole Diana/Emoon scenario was okay, a bit drawn out. It was unnerving to keep hearing her try to weasle her way back into Emoon's life and insisting she couldn't work, blah blah. But She got her chance at TN redemption and she will live to whine another day.

As for Orly, yeah, don't let the door hit you on the way out. What a jerk. I have to admit, my heart goes out to Emoon having Orly and Diana as natural parents. what a gene pool. Thank goodness he has Rafa, who we will soon see reuniting with camilla I'm sure.

So now we see if Eugenio is smart enough to make sure Pal isn't totally alone with Auntie Nutcase.And what will Germy do now after his reaming by Camilla (wish she'd do that with her daughter.)

I'll miss the RDM gang after next Sunday.

I do not agree with Eugenio in giving Carlota any kind of bargaining chip. She doesn't deserve it and he knows it. just drag her butt off to jail and call it a day. And why oh why would he pressure Paloma into visiting her just when the poor girl had developed the backbone to finally stand up to her horrible killer aunt. Shame on you, Eugenio.

Eugenio must have been chugging that RDM water when we wern't watching. Que the heck?! He sends Pal to Carloca's lair, ALONE! I could not believe it. Thank goodness we had some brilliant moments by Camilla last night to make up somewhat for the complete breakdown of Don E's mental capacity.

One of the things Camilla said to Orlando that had significance is that she was unfaithful to Oily too. But not in the way he was- in her mind and heart. Then she went into how she has thought of Rafa every day. Before she explained that, Oily got all upset thinking she had slept with someone (he assumed Rafa), as if he didn't just admit to doing the same thing. What nerve! Angie really deserves someone better than him. He and Diana should get back together and go off into the sunset.

Romeme and Germy continue to be selfish, putting their needs above their child's. Looks like Bernie will have a similar gene pool and story as Emoony (cause it's looking like Germy will go off to jail like Oily did), and will grow up with another papa who loves and cares for him.

I'm glad that Camila finally ended things with Oily; it was telling that he went ballistic when he thought she had slept with Rafa.

As for Eugenio, I too am frustrated with him, but I still think that giving him this huge weakness makes the TN more interesting. Without the flaw, he'd be too perfect and predictable.
 

At least Eugenio did not fall for the fake, "I can't remember anything..." defense of La Loca. I think she was angling for a "Multiple Personality" defense...Good Auntie, Bad Auntie persona.

Still waiting to come out in the wash: That Carloca killed Macarena, and she killed the criada who used to work for Iñaki and his mother.
 

WTF! Obviously Eugenio is not thinking with his big head swallowing all of the Loco Purple One's pleading to be able to tell Paloma herself. She was so crazy in that first scene I actually started to wonder if she actually had a multiple personality problem. She has so totally convinced herself that she has done nothing. Chilling. Some first rate acting in those scenes. I'm going to miss that intensity. I'd like to see these two in something else.

Sending Paloma to the house alone is insane by any standards. Of course in a minor defense for our suddenly brain dead attorney he really doesn't know how truly dangerous the woman is. He doesn't know that she had no compunction about killing her own sister so it doesn't occur to him that she might have a similar plan for Paloma.

Since she doesn't know about the up coming wedding Gabe is getting a reprieve but if she finds out I fear it is curtains for him. I can only wonder how she will pull it off since belladonna doesn't seem to make sense. Perhaps he will go to the house and take a dive off the balcony in Paloma's place. Sad to think in one week we will know.

Poor German I think he does care about Bernie but he has always been concerned about not having anything to offer He unfortunately thinks, like Romena in terms of things, not feelings. Points for Cam in trying to shake some sense into him since it is a lost cause with her devil spawn.

Who knew Orly had it in him to confess the truth to Camila but any points he earned he lost by the automatic jump to the conclusion that Cam had slept with Rafa. I really think he was stunned to think she had been mentally unfaithful from the start.

I wonder why the Paloma Protective Society hasn't sat the girl down and told her everything they know or suspect. When it all comes out she is going to get the mother of all shocks which is cruel. She should at least have some inkling of what to expect from Tia Crazy.
 

I've often wondered if Gabe will die an American style death. Sacrifice himself. Standard U.S. format is for the one person that is going to die to sacrifice themselves to save someone else. So, I've wondered if Gabe will die saving Paloma, saving Eugenio, or even saving Emoon. Hmm, or at the least I can see it that Gabe will die and Emoon will be there and Gabe will tell Emoon to take care of Paloma. How the usual American movie would end. I don't know if they'll go that way or not. The way it should end, Gabe gets a miracle cure and marries Paloma and they live happily ever after. Seems like Pal will have to marry one of the guys. Really, she should wait a few years and grow up some more.
 

Loves ENDA Anon. I really enjoyed your detailed recap and laughed a lot throughout...too many funnies to mention. The commenters are great as well.

At this point, Eugenio has the IQ of a tortilla. He's known Carloca shot Dr. B. Dr. B just told Natalia it was Loca and Natalia relayed it to Eugenio and his suspicions were confirmed. I hope Dr. B is talking to an actual police officer/investigator before he possibly lapses back into a coma. So Eugenio, do you know where that gun is? Could it possibly be in that house you are sending poor Paloma into (hopefully not by herself?) It seems at this point, Loca is going by the old tried and true method of death by balcony and hopefully won't think of using that gun.

Diana seemed so depressed, I thought she might do something to herself but she is still so self centered she probably won't.

I will never look at anything "purple" in the same way again and will be extra careful drinking the local water when I travel especially to certain parts of Mexico

I was kind of thinking along the same lines vis a vis Gabe's potential death. I thought maybe he will go to the house after Paloma and arrive in time to save her from being heaved over the balcony and end up going over himself. It makes some sense that way except that Paloma would probably go into a terminal case of "It's my fault" which may be lingering in her mind when she finds out Tia Loca offed Inaki. The one thing I don't want under any circumstances for the the Great Purple One (never one of my favorite colors and more so now) to end up doing a swan dive herself. I am just vindictive enough to want her to live and suffer seeing everyone in her life that she hates living HEA. The perfect revenge.

I agree, it would be a real shame if Carlota died too soon. She needs at least a few years of agonizing pain and humiliation. And, yes, knowing that her remaining foes are living quite happily without her.

One thing I would like to add is when Diana was begging Emoon not to send her to Monterey, he pointed out that she had sent him there to live with his padrino, and they didnt have much contact for years, and that she would get used to it the way he had. That made me fel sorry for Emoon, who usually just annoys me.
It was a bit unsubtle that just when Paloma was reasuring her abuelas that she would have time with Gabriel, in the next scene we se him having an attack and lunging for his medicine.For while, I was hopeful that Pal and Gabriel would end up together, but it looks prety unlikely now.
 

Eugenio's isn't the most famous lawyer in Mexico for no reason. He's way ahead of Carloca. He didn't give in to her pleading and begging and when he agreed to let Carloca wait until the morning he already had two guards waiting in the wings. Yeah, he agreed to let Carloca see Paloma one more time, but Carloca isn't going to get over on him. I'm sure Eugenio will take some kind of precaution against Carloca.

Eugenio may have been smitten by Carloca but he is well aware of what a demon she really is. Let's see what happens.

Yes, but Caborita, Carlota has a gun!! Eugenio knows she shot Dr B. He leaves her alone in a house where she can go get her gun, pick off her guards, and make a run for it.

And of course she could plug Paloma the minute she walks in the door, guards outside or no.

Or she could off herself with belladonna.

Camila sure laid out ol’ Orlando. Not only did she tell him that she was thinking of Rafa, she told him she was thinking of him every day, all the time. Way to twist the knife, Camila! And I must say I enjoyed it, am I bad?

I’ve really enjoyed this novela for its great writing, but now all of a sudden we have Eugenio in love with Carlota, leaving her alone in the house for hours, and actually calling Paloma to tell her to go to her. Yikes!
 

Eugenio may be wise to Carlota's tricks, but she has indeed gotten over on him if he believes she wants to see Paloma for some kindly purpose. A major clue is that Carlota has taken extreme measures against anyone trying to take Paloma away from her so he should have realized how desperate she is not to allow Paloma to be free. His own son is in the line of fire and he hasn't realized that yet. Yes, he has taken precautions by posting guards outside Carlota's home, but by what authority could they stop her from leaving? She's not under arrest, so isn't she free to come and go as she pleases?

I only hope Eugenio is going to wire Paloma, to get the confession out of Carlotta, and maybe that will be the way the public will find out that she killed Macarena as well. There is basically no physical evidence for that. And I'm sure, he thought it through with Paloma's safety. Go, Don Eugenio, go!

Now will Eugenio send poor Paloma into the Purple one's murderous clutches, the fact he is giving her a extra day of freedom to continue to wreak havoc it seems more than likely.

Like Jeff has said that fact that he told her he's in love with was way beyond stupid.

The way he and Cris keep harping on how intelligent she is should tell him she can't be trusted and that his personal feelings towards her are most definitely clouding his judgement concerning her.

He should have brought someone like one of the detectives with him when he confronted her with his suspicions and a warrant to check the premises for the gun she used to shoot Dr.B.

Most importantly he doesn't have the right to send Paloma who is Cris's child to a murderous insane person.Another reason why he should remove himself from this case.

Cris told him he wanted Carloca to pay for all of her crimes that she committed.Second he was not listening to Paloma and realizing how much damaged and pain Carloca has inflicted upon Paloma. Another reason why Paloma really does not want anything more to do with her aunt.

The best thing he could have done is told Carloca i'm taking you to the station today and turning youin but i will give you time to speak to privately with Paloma to confessed to your crimes with her and seek her forgiveness.

The only good thing that can come out of Paloma being sent there by herself, is in Carloca's rage and deranged anger she reveal to her how she not only killed. Inaki, but Arcadia,Macarena and Alonso too.

As for Paloma being wired by Eugenio to record their conversation we can only hope but since his thinking is already comprised by his feelings i won't get my hopes up.flutisiv

I don't have the confidence you all have about Eugenio taking care of Paloma. Still 7 hours left, so something bad is going to happen. At the very least, I'd have to think Carloca is going to get away somehow. Just too much time left.

I almost couldn't believe it. Of course when Gabe and Pal get close together and talk it has to be right outside of Emoons window. Even when he's not trying to get a look at them, he can still see them.
Hopefully Diana is on the way out and we can forget about her.
 

Jeff i have to agree with you also i mean if Paloma was Eugenio's own daughter he would be sending the national guard to protect her from Carloca. What made me angry with him was he was totally not picking up how much Paloma did not want to go back into that house or be near her aunt.

Clearly another sign he can't be objective when it concerns Carloca, also before he talked Palomna into doing that he should have gotten permission from her father Cris.

He just got off the phone with Natalia confirming that La Loca tried to kill Dr.B, he suspects that she killed not only Alonso but his son Inaki too. What the heck is wrong with this man.

Then even knowing all of that he didn't believe her about forgetting her crimes and acting like she had a double personality.


Yeah sadly i can see he going to pay his stupidity with her by losing his son caused by Carloca, we just don't know how she is going to do it.
 

Just a speculation. Now that Dr. B is awake, the police can take his confession and the bullet they removed and search Carloca's house for the gun and a bullet match. Maybe that's why Eugenio has Loca under observation so she can't get rid of the gun or go out on a killing spree. Maybe he has no real intention of sending Paloma into the house once she arrives there. It may just be a ruse Eugenio is using to keep Loca thinking she's pulled one over on him. I really hope Eugenio is not under the spell of Loca and/or the water because that would be uncharacteristic of a such intelligent lawyer.

I'm still agreeing with Jeff the fact that they showed how conflicted Eugenio is concerning Carloca i can't give him the benefit of a doubt this time.

Unless those two guards are armed and are told to escort Paloma inside and makes sure she comes out unharmed in a certain amount of time.Then Eugenio needs to bring someone else to take over this case.
 

I have to laugh at how fast we have managed to turn Don Eugenious into an incompetent idiot for falling under the spell of the Witch of Unreal del Monte.

In any event I've come to the conclusion that in the end Carloca will have to die. If they actually put her in prison, Her Purpleness is so sly that within a month she'd be running the place, the jumpsuits would go from drab brown to purple and Sephora would open a branch inside.
 

I don't think Eugenio is incompetent, but it does strike me as a little perverse that he would love and be obsessed by such a cruel and diabolical woman. I also wonder if she will eventually strike at him where it would hurt him most, through his son.
