Episode 150

We see the unhinged one coming into her room looking frantically through her drawers for something. She then goes to her big dresser and reaches up to pull a box of something down.

She opens the box and looks inside at the contents and smiles smugly and evilly.

Cris is walking down the street carrying a bag when he greets another pedestrians he then is approached by Meche and her wayward grandson.

They both greet him and tell him how happy they are that he was found innocent.Gossip guy and his wife walk by them and look and Cris makes apoint of saying loudly that these two gossip mongers over hear him say how happy he was to have ben proved innocent.Gossip guy and wife look guilty and look away as they walk by them.

Meche makes a disparaging remark about both of them, but Cris chastises her to be Cris sorry Christ like and turn the other cheek. Cris ask Meche's grandson how he is faring and he tells Cris how much he's cleaning up his act and Cris ask are you serious.

Meche's tells Cris that he's turning over a new leaf.

The doorbell rings at RoMEna's apartment she goes to answer it and it's down on his luck and without a job smarmy German.

She's surprised to see him at her place at this time of day not wearing his crooked bought off lawyer suit.She asks him what's happening,German says it necessary he has to talk to someone.

RoMEna ask why is it your career he tells it's because of PJC that he's lost it his job. RoMEna brings up if he's looking for money angrily German says it's not money he needs. He needs her to console him right now.

RoMEna who's never said no to any young man she finds attractive puts her arms around German.She brings up Emiliano but German tells her that Emoon doesn't want her and he does and always has.

He tells her she needs to think about it and how Emoon will never feel for her what he does.They start to kiss each other passionately.

Liliana is walking down the street when she notices German's car and realizes that he's visiting RoMEna.She then says she knows that Emoon is not the father of RoMEna's child.
 

Gabriel is working on his restoration project when he hears his father behind him he ask Eugenio where he is going.Eugenio says to go see Madeline and Cris.

He then tells Gabriel he's going to tell her that Cris is the father of Paloma. Gabriel is shocked by this news, i say that Eugenio should have done it in a more better way since it seems his son has a heart condition.

Eugenio tells Gabriel to be careful ahh too late for that Eugenio. He urges Gabriel to be careful at what he says because not that many know the truth.

Eugenio tells him i know what you are feeling for Paloma and understand but Gabriel assures him he won't tell Paloma.Eugenio and Gabriel laugh and joke about how handsome his father is.

Eugenio says to him i know you're thinking about Paloma alluding to his collapse from his secret illness and how it will affect Paloma once she knows.

Eugenio tells Gabriel i want you to think about this opportunity you have and it may not come again.

Cris is sitting in the living room with pictures spread out on the table before him when Padre Mateo walks in and see him. Padre Mateo ask him what's wrong and see's that he is looking at articles of his mother and how famous she was.

Padre Mateo tells Cris that he should forgive her, Cris doesn't think he can forgive her and tells him to look within his heart.Cris say's out loud to himself how pretty his mother was when she was young.

Emoon is talking to Rafael about Luz and he wants him to be with a woman who can make him happy, so it does not matter to him who Rafael chooses to be with.

They discuss how quickly he's going to marry Luz and then he brings up how he will be divorcing RoMEna.

Someone rings RoMEna's doorbell she comes out in her bathrobe, while German runs hurriedly out of her bedroom to stop her.

RoMEna looks back at him and laughs him off she opens the door without asking who is it and to everyone's surprise it's Diana.

German hides from her behind the wall, while RoMEna is not at all happy with seeing this visitor at her home.German meanwhile is trying to throw his clothes out of sight.

RoMEna is stalling Diana from entering asking her to forgive her but she can't see anyone right now. Meanwhile Diana is trying to push herself in the door probably because she can't get a hold of slimy Samuel.

Diana is saying it's very important that they talk and still is trying to get inside, while German is squatting trying to hide from being seen by Diana.
 

RoMEna comes back in at starts to laugh about almost being caught by her mother in law, German then starts to laugh too at how he had to crab walk around to remove his clothes from being seen by her mother in law.

German says she was probably here to talk to you about your separation from Emoon and RoMEna agrees saying she only thinks about Emoon. German wants RoMEna to be with him but RoMEna tells him she doesn't think they can do this ever again after to day.

Outside Diana is trying to look inside to see what is going on and telling the air it's important that she talk to RoMEna. She then says out loud that she will have Samuel investigated.

Eugenio is asking Madeline if she is nervous and she tells him how long she's been waiting for this opportunity to talk to Cris.

She can't believe that Cris now wants to talk with her, she then thanks Eugenio profusely for all of his help with Cris.

Madeline nervously ask Eugenio how does she look, and he tells her gallantly precious and kisses her hand.Cris then walks in and sees them together he says hi to both of them.

Eugenio gets up and shakes Cris hands and tells him that you two have much to talk about, he then tells Madeline's man servant to accompany him and to leave Cris and his mother alone to talk.

Madeline tells Cris i will tell you the whole truth of anything you want to know about your existence. Please let me hold you in my arms you have always been in my heart.

Cris looks a bit uncomfortable with Madeline's crying and pleading.

Paloma walks in while Gabriel continues to work on the restoration painting.She has some invitation she wants to give out for her party.

He tells her how he will be finishing soon and leaving and Paloma tells him how she will be leaving RDM soon and how she feels about this place.Maybe the should leave RDM together.

Gabriel tells her he doesn't want to be confused by what she is saying but Paloma tells him how she likes it when he's near to her. Gabriel smiles shyly.

Rafael is at his office reading something when Luz knocks on his door and comes in.He ask if she has investigated what they have to do to get Xochi.

Luz says yes and they discuss all they have to do concerning getting married and his divorce from Diana.
Luz tells him how she will have to bring her things from Mexico to his place.
 

Joel walks in the open door and catches them kissing and compares them to how it is for him with Monica.

Camila and Orlando still on their honeymoon and he is talking about his trip to Houston with her.

Cris talks to his mother about her career as a ballerina and how beautiful she was and he understands how important it was for her at that moment in her life.

Madeline tells him how much she regrets choosing her career over him and rejecting him. How her parents plans for her did not include him but her career.

Cris ask her if her parents knew his father she says no not at all only she knew him.Cris ask was he a part of her plans with his father.

Madeline tells him how much she loved his father and became pregnant and his father proposed marriage to her. But her father didn't want her to marry his father or have the baby.

She went against her parents and had him anyway, Cris tells her how Padre Mateo and Benito told him that.Madeline cries for Cris's forgiveness.

Paloma rings RoMEna's busy doorbell as the housekeeper comes up and ask who does she want to see.Paloma says I'm here to see RoMEna or Emoon.The housekeeper ask her if she wants to come in but Paloma declines.
 

Paloma then gives the housekeeper the invitation to her party to give to RoMEna.

Madeline tells Cris how abandoning him effected her life but her and how she has suffered since her accident. Cris tells her it is a sad story and how tragic it is to be abandon by secrets.

She tells him how her father wanted her to give him up for adoption.

I know nothing i did was right says Madeline how every thing was my fault i did it with my own two hands i destroyed your father when i left him and he took to alcohol.

How foolish i was all those years, now i need you to understand and plead with you it's necessary for you to know the truth about the history of your mother.

Cris speaks of god and how cleansing he is and no one is without fault other than the higher power. Somehow Cris finds it within himself to forgive his mother for her actions and hugs her.

Both of them are overcome with emotion at their reconcilation , Madeline crying thanks her son.

RoMEna struts into Diana soon to be former house and ask her mother what did she want to talk to her about earlier while she was busy.

Diana starts off by bitching and complaining about her grandson and his name change from Samuel to Bernardo.How she likes the name Samuel instead RoMEna listens to this harpie go on with rolled eyes.

RoMEna states to Diana how she wants nothing to do with her father at all.But why ask Diana because he is a first class jerk says RoMEna.

Do you know why he abandon my mother and me not because it was another woman but because he uses people to get their money.
What are you saying says Diana.

RoMEna says i am his only daughter and he stole money from me, his only child. Diana has a look of fright ask her are you sure you're talking about Samuel.

Yes i am talking about my and i warn you to be very careful, if he can do that to his own daughter then otherwise he will take advantage of you too she then leaves Diana.

Who is wearing a oh Sh!t what have i done expression on her face, knowing that she sign the deed to her house over to Samuel.
 

Emoon is showing the baby the mini soccer ball and other balls of the sports they will play together and tells him how he will always be near him and consider him his son whether they are related by blood or not.

Cris enters Dr.B office they give each other the man hug and Dr.B tells him he's glad he's free what can he do for him.

Please enter and orders them both coffee, once they sit Cris tells Dr.B since he was in jail that he needed to talk to him about something important.His tells about the plans he made with Macarena to marry her.

Cris ask Dr.B why he is taking Paloma with him, Dr.B tells him because of my love for Macarena. Plus to get her away from Carloca.

Cris says very well i want the same thing as you do and i don't want my daughter anywhere near Carloca either.Dr.B says did you say your daughter,are you saying that Paloma is your daughter.

Yes responds Cris it's very odd for you isn't it i suspected it says Cris about it but there was Carloca who told me something different.

Dr.B says how foolish i am that i didn't see it, Macarena had told me her story about her one great love and her daughter and the only man she had ever loved after you left her it was you Cris.

Dr.B says Cris it's necessary that you help me, Carloca is very intelligent and she does not want me with Paloma.

Dr.B ask him does Paloma know you're her father, Cris shakes his head no. Dr.B tells him that he has to say something to Paloma about being her father she has to know.

Eugenio is at Misery Manor being greeted by the Purple mistress of the house.He compliments La Loca as she invites him into the living room. I'll be ready in a minute she says, don't worry replies Eugenio.

Carloca starts to leave but turns and come back she says i might have need for a lawyer,forgive me says Eugenio. Don't worry says Carloca.

Eugenio cell phone rings it's the Dr. he glad he called him because it's important but somehow they are disconnected. Eugenio keeps asking Dr. can you hear me now.

Apparently Verizon does not work to well in Unreal Del Monte, and now back to the program.

Carloca sneakily suggest that Eugenio use the phone in her office and her house is house line is used as well.
 

Eugenio unknowingly takes her up on her offer because he is worried about talking to the Dr.He dials up the Dr.

Carloca goes to another phone in Misery Manor to listen in on their conversation,she hears the Dr. tell Eugenio about how complicated Gabriel condition is and a very tiny small smirk shows on the Purple Grinch's face.

Gabriel is on the phone with Luz talking to her about Paloma party and tells her goodbye. He then gives a box to his housekeeper to give to Luz.

At the Plateria pushy Anamar is talking to Angelica who tells her that Emoon is not there he's visiting the baby.She then butters up Angelica how she likes working here and if she can find her job.

Angelica tells her that she just wants to work here because Emoon does and Anamar says why can't i since his father is going to go work in Houston anyway.

Angelica is surprised by this and doesn't think that Orlando told Camila about his plans and his associates in America. Miss assure of herself Anamar tells Angelica i don't care if it's here or Houston as long as i'm by Emoon.

Did he not to tell your little self assured behind he does not love you and he loves only Paloma.

Paloma is walking down the street carrying stuff for her party when she runs into Emoon who is carrying the toys he bought for the baby he shows them to her.

She then tells about her birthday party he seems surprised that she is finally turning 18 and so is the audience too.

Emoon as a young man who was dating a girl still in high school you before anyone else should know how old she is and when her birthday is too. What a lunkhead.

Paloma tells him how Gabriel has helped her plan her party and everything. She tells him how she went to his house and gave their housekeeper RoMEna's invite.

He wasn't there she was told,Emoon tells her i'm not with RoMEna anymore, what says Paloma i left the house for several days now.

What about your baby Emoon cries Paloma are you thinking about him, you went and married RoMEna because of the baby Emoon and now you're not thinking about what happens with your family.

I did what was right for my child and i am only thinking about him.She gives him his invite when he gets close but he tells her he does not want it. Why she ask i don't want it if it means i have to say goodbye to you.

I never want you to leave and i don't want you to leave after your party is over.Perhaps this is for the best since they weren't meant to be together she says don't say that Emoon tells her. He leans over to kiss her in public while still married to RoMEna.

Paloma walks away from him before he can kiss her, Emoon looks after her mooning like always and opens his invite.
 

RoMEna struts into her apartment her housekeeper gives her the invitation Paloma gave to her.RoMEna reads it and says Paloma gave this to you yes says the housekeeper.

RoMEna says outloud so you're throwing party with Gabriel to celebrate your birthday, how can all these guys be so interested in her envious RoMEna whines.

She then list them first Inaki then Emoon and now Gabriel, excuse what about Aron sure he was a creep but he liked her too.RoMEna just can't believe how these guys are always falling for Paloma.

Housekeeper makes a comment how she thinks guys are interested in girls who are innocent. RoMEna cuts her a look because since the last time she was innocent was when she was born.

Luz isplaying with Xochi while the social worker looks on with other children in a playroom and they talk about her upcoming marriage and the other children need for a good home too.

Cris puts a bouquet of flowers on Macarena's grave he thinks to himself out loud i know that you're here and if you were alive you would have told me that Paloma was your daughter.

I'm going to tell Paloma about Carloca.

Paloma tells Rufi about Emoon telling her he's getting a divorce.
 

Rufi ask Paloma if she believe he will get a divorce,Paloma says i don't want him to abandon RoMEna and the baby if he's going to divorce her.

Rufi ask her what does think i don't know but i am tired of having these feelings and emotions. All i want to do now is just leave with you, i don't want to think about anything else in my life.

Carloca is having lunch with Eugenio and tells him about how the most important part of her life in her house with her father and young brother and sister.

Eugenio brings up Paloma and Carloca tells him she has done everything for the sake of Paloma. She tells it's probably like that for him with Gabriel.

Eugenio tells her how important Gabriel means to him more than money and how much family means to him with love.I don't know why you have been difficult with me says Carloca.

Like why did you have to get Cris free,she and Eugenio go back and forth with the Purple vowing silently to herself that she will make him pay for getting Cris free of his charges.

Avance for Monday's episode show Paloma packing her suitcase and Carloca comes in to talk to her.
Paloma showing off her dress for Gabriel who tells her how beautiful she looks. Then clueless Emoon comes up behind and interrupts their flow.

Oh, Paloma is finally turning 18...H E L L O? Was Emo so blinded by her savy fashion sense that he forgot the love of his life's 18th Birthday? Well, even in Guapos her 18th birthday rolled around the
4th day of the novela. Emo better not disappoint for her Big day or I think I will totally give up on him. He will deserve to lose her para siempre.

As for Eugenio...we all knew nothing good could come from him using The Purple One's phone. I sat on the couch, "Don't do it...crap...he did it" What evil will Carloca spin with this golden, I mean purple piece of info

Does anyone have a thought as to whether she has let our Doc Bermudez off the hook? She appeared ready to shimmy up that trellis of his to get her revenge. Stange mental image. It appears she has moved on to Eugenio and his eventual suffering.

I just cannot sympathize with Diana. I have honestly tried to feel some tinge of something. Let me try again...nope. She is completely blinded by her own egotistical needs. We all know she will end up with nothing but who will she turn to and who will lend a hand...Emo? She has alienated everyone else. Well, she alienated Emo too, but he is her son and of course he has forgiven her many many selfish and disgraceful acts.

On a positive note...loved the scene with Cris and Mama Madeline. I could feel the pain through her expression. I didn't understand the words but I understood nontheless. When he knelt down and embraced her...WOW. Sniff Sniff. I am a sucker for happy happy family reconcilliation.

Thank you for another wonderful and entertaining recap. You always have the right mix of factual reporting and humor. I have enjoyed all the recaps as much as the program itself. Hard to believe we are down to the last 21 episodes. I hope my VCR holds out so I will be able to enjoy them all again. Your comment on Emiliano seemingly not remebering Paloma's exact birthday is troubling. The scene of PJC and his mother coming together was indeed very touching. Thank's again and I will sure miss all of you when this novela ends.

You have to love LaLoca. Everyone she talks to now she thought-bubbles how she's going to make them suffer. No wonder she's getting more and more unhinged: her poor brain can't keep all these deadly schemes straight.

I agree, she seems to have moved from Dr. B since all his "secrets" are coming out anyway and she's focusing more on Cris and Eugenius. I guess our mighty one can slip up and he did big time with that phone issue. But his first thoughts were with Gabe, so understandable. Her purpleness now knows Gabe is ill, so the question is, will she try to actually off Gabe to punish Don E or slip the news to Pal thinking that will destroy their relationship. Or maybe both.

I actually was silently cheering, so not to scare the cat, when Diana realized she screwed up big time trusting Samuel. I was actually cheering on Romeme to let her have it.

As for Romeme, want your cake and eat it too, do you? she just spends the morning/ afternoon cavorting with Germy (they actually do make a good pair in their own way)and is still ticked off that Gabe is throwing Pal a party and why the guys aren't fawning all over her. It's because your a B-I-...well viewerville knows.

Cris finally practiced what he preaches and reconciled with his Mama. Those were actual pictures of the actress back in the day - what a beauty. Hope he gets the same from Pal, but do we think she will take it well at first???

Is it me or too much Camilla/Orly on honeymoon? That whole plot line makes me yawn. I'd rather see Luz and Rafa.

Like the pace of developments now. And Pal looked great in the previews. Looks like her fairy godmother showed up and dressed that girl up right!
 

Loved the scene with Cris and his mother. When he hugged her and said she was his mama I lost it and probably missed a couple of the ensuing scenes.

Had to laugh at German trying to get his clothes out of the way. Very funny bit that and I guess Romena's six week check up has come and gone while the Mighty Mite continues to outgrow the incubator since she appears hot to trot again..

Another vote for don't use the phone Don E. I now think Carlotta has moved Gabe to the top of the hit list. That way she gets two birds with one stone (or vial of belladonna). Paloma's loses another love and Don E pays for the cardinal sin of getting Cris off. Biyach! Hope she rots in hall.

Hilarious to watch greedy, selfish, smug Diana get hit with the realization that Sammy is slime and she just threw away her house. I wonder how long it will take before she runs whining to Rafa or Emoon. Hope they both kick her to the curb as Romena surely will.

I am surprised that no one speculates on a fitting punishment for Samuel. I for one think he should contract a really vile social disease and slowly die a long painful death. No redemption for this scumbag!

rsk...ITA regarding Samuel contracting well, I will say it...Syphilis, perhaps? That would definately be fitting. I suppose there is so much evil in RDM that we forget about how Sam the Slime should get his.His character is low and disgraceful. Thanks for pointing that out.
 

Samuel--let' see: House goes up in flames, no insurance on it, and two goons show up to collect on an old debt, he can't pay it off now, and they beat the crap out of him. He's arrested in the hospital and is fitted with one of those handsome orange jumpsuits where his roomie turns out to be "Ugly Guy" still ticked about the humiliation suffered at the hands of Cris and HE beats the crap out of him too. Sound good??

Several people have said that Gabriel will be Carloca's next victim, but I'm not so sure. Why waste time offing him when he's likely to die anyway, and when she has at least two other candidates high up on her hit list? I think it's more likely that she'll tell Paloma that Gabriel is seriously ill and likely to die, and Carloca will likely rub it in by pointing out that he's yet another person close to Paloma who dies a sudden, premature death.

Thanks, daisynjay, for pointing out that the photos Cris (and we) saw of the young Madeleine were actually of the actress who plays her. Also, I loved your proposed end for Samuel!

Interesting theory that Gabe is now moved up to the top of Carloca's list. If he dies, it won't be suspicious because he was already sick, and it would devastate Don E and get him out of the way. You're right. Two birds with one stone. Yikes! I hope this doesn't happen. The writers are just toying with us now, as we try to figure out who will be La Loca's next target. Gabe, Dr. B, Don E, Rufi, Cris, German (if he tries to blackmail her)? Emoony islucky he's not in Pal'slife right now, or he'd be on the list!

I worry that Ange is always working at that office, ALONE (because obviously Emoony and Oily never work). Dario is out to get her. She should be more worried. I'd hire Anamar just to have some company in that lonely office. But wait, didn't they hire her friend? Where did she go?

Your script for the end of Sammy the Slime was PERFECTO! I doubt the writers can top that.
The inside info on the actrez that plays Madeleine was really interesting and and very heartwarming as well.

I couldn't help but tear up at Cris and Madelaine's reconciliation. Peniche is an actorazo. This will be the 4th novela I've seen him in, each very different characters. He's always SO good.

I saw him in Alborada where he played the impotent husband Lucero runs away from. I saw him in Zorro, where he played an obsessed Governor in New Spain, madly in love with a nun. I saw him in Victoria, where he played Victoria Ruffo's husband who dumps her for a young thing. And now the noble, yet very human Padre Juan Cristobal. Of course we know he'll go back to the church once he straightens out the Paloma/Carlota mess.

I don't see Carloca bumping off Gabriel either. Why waste all that good belladonna on someone with a terminal illness? Unfortunately, Juanita's theory seems more likely -- that she'll torture Pal with the knowledge that one more person she cares about is about to bite the dust.

I sure hope there aren't any loopholes in Rafa's divorce papers. Once Diana finds out the truth about Sammy the Snake, she might want to retract the divorce papers.

I was worried that Liliana would end up seeing Germ or RoMEME and blabbing to them that Emoon was going to have a DNA test done. That still may happen. Couldn't believe Emoon spilled those beans to Lili, a secret of course. :)

I'm glad RoMEME was the one to tell Diana about Samnotwell. Be very careful Diana, he may take your money, too. Hah! Just about perfect. :)
Somewhat surprised earlier how quickly RoMEME turn on papa. Guess take my money and I flush you down the toilet right quick.

A great scene with Cris and Maddy. I'm glad he came around so quick. Worried it would take another week or two.

I think Gabe is probably on Carloca's hit list. Get rid of him early, Eugenius probably leaves town and one less resource for PJC. Dr B also has to go to keep Pal around. Dr B. will probably be very soon. PJC would be late on the list, if he is even on it. Mainly she would get rid of people and cause hurt with PJC and Pal. Okay, maybe finish off PJC at the end.. After he tells Pal he is her father. Probably throw Rufi under the bus somewhere as well. Keep Pal around after everyone she knows bites the dust and watch Pal suffer under the purple haze.

Maria, I agree, didn't RoMEME tell Pal Emoon was leaving? Well, he didn't remember Pal's 18th birthday. I guess they're even. :)
 

Jeff MN, I'm not so worried about Gabriel. LaLoca knows that Don is very smart and he would investigate his death. I don't think she will risk it. I'm very worried about my lovely Rodolfo, as is taking Paloma away, so nothing in town to keep Cristobal around.

You are right. Peniche is a brilliant actor. I've been a fan of his for years, since my first novela when he was saddled with the mooning protagonist part in Maria Mercedes. He did several of them like Maria Jose and Morelia before he, along with a few other true actors, broke their contracts with Televisa and moved to Telemundo. At that time Tevisa ruled with an iron hand and actors had little choice in the parts they played. I remember Arturo telling Christina he hated the galan parts - there is no real challenge to them. Eventually Televisa lightened up and actors could cross between companies.

As you point out he is never the same. I've seen him do five drunk scenes and he never does them the same and can he ever make you cry.
 

I hope you're right Maria. Sadly, looks like Gabe is going to die on his own anyway. But.. Pal is starting to get somewhat smitten with him. That is a death knell right there. Speeding up his death will help her keep a hold on Pal, "another one

Just wanted to add that it seems Diana is going to get her just desserts. Yay! She gets to see what it feels like to be conned just as she conned Orly years ago. And she never even had to go to jail for that crime. Hopefully as mentioned, Samuel will end up very happy with the Big Guy at the Penitentiary. The only down side is that Rafa and especially Emo will bail her out by providing her with a place to stay. But maybe she'll be forced to get a job instead of living the life of a queen as she had planned. That would be justice served.

My two cents...unless Pal reconciles with Chris and goes with Rufi to live with him, Dr. B is in danger as Pal, Rufi and Doc seem to be packing their bags to leave for D. F. after the long, long, long awaited birthday fiesta. And Loca needs that inheritance and Paloma to torture forever. However, Carloca may try to off Gabe because we know she likes to put a crimp into Pal's love life so she'll be alone forever. And the death would be deemed natural.

German is obsessed with Romina but i would like to see him make her suffer a bit for her lie. You just know he will end up with her but he shouldn't make it easy. The brat needs to learn a lesson.
