Caray, Caray!

Thanks to all of the regular recappers who helped put up the comment section for me on Friday for my pitch hitting duties. Also thanks to the regular recappers who enhanced my enjoyment of Telenovelas and for to Melinama for creating this community where we come to share our love for novelas.

Thank you also to all of the commenters who enjoyed my recaps.

Episode 169.


Cris is talking to the Obispo Calixto about being promoted to a Bishop he reminds Calixto that he has a daughter that he made before becoming a man of God. Calixto says no worries since it's damn near impossible that most men of God can be abstinent whether they did it before becoming priest or after. I say let's change this rule but that's just me speaking and my thoughts.

Cris has a look of doubt on his face like are you for real where's the hidden camera come on out.Am i being pranked or what but Calixto assures him this is not a joke.

Camila cell rings and its Angelica asking her to forgive her for her betrayal,Camila prefers not to talk about it but Angelica insist on asking her to forgive her for her actions she says Orlando doesn't know she is calling her nor did he ask too.

Camila tells her what she did wasn't right but she knows how she felt toward Orlando,Angelica says that is true that she is in love with Orlando but it was no excuse for her to sleep with him. Please forgive me ask a teary eyed Angelica pleading with her former friend.

Camila tells Angelica that she doesn't want to be bothered by this and lets Angelica know that it wasn't only her fault for what happened she and Orlando are over. She then gives her advice that maybe she can conquer Orlando's heart when he comes back to Houston and try to be happy with him.

Basically she's telling her former friend i don't want him but if you think you can be happy with that selfish pig then more power to you.

As for me i will look for my happiness somewhere else, Camila tells Angelica goodbye.
 

After Camila hangs up by telling her goodbye Angelica has a confused stunned look on her face like what she heard she can't believe.

Joel and Rafael are discussing Camila being at his wedding to Monica as the get dressed to get hitched.Rafael tells Joel of his misgivings at seeing Camila now. Joel ask him what's the problem i'm very nervous Rafael tells his best friend.

Whenever i think about her with Orlando i don't know,Joel tells him to forget all of that now that both of them are finally free for each other. There's no Diana now to keep them apart he walks off after giving Rafael some reassuring pats on the back.

Ahhh here's our resident town crier catching up on the latest gossip with Paloma telling her how Romina got into a accident leaving because she couldn't handle taking care of her own baby.

Paloma whines to her how Inaki would still be here if it wasn't for her. Liliana straightens out RDM long suffering teenaged heroine by pointing out what happen in her life was a direct result from her aunt,Romina and German conspiring against her. None of what happened to the people she loved the most in her life was her fault at all.Liliana tells Paloma now all three are paying for what they did to her Carloca is a paralyzed,German is in jail and Romina has had a nervous breakdown.

Paloma ask Liliana if she will go and see German truthfully she shouldn't but she says she will go and see him. It's because you're in love with him ask Paloma.

When i look in my heart i know i shouldn't because of all the bad things he has done but i can't help it.Paloma meanwhile gives a faint yes reflecting upon her thoughts and feelings like Liliana probably towards her crazy aunt.
 

The Dr. is testing again Carloca leg to see if she feels anything yet and La Loca says no nothing at all.Not even a little sensation the Dr. ask her no nothing again says Carloca.

The Dr. gives his testing tool the nurse and washes his hands saying he will prescribe a IMR for her he just doesn't understand why she is still not feeling anything in her legs when there does not seem to be any structural damage to her spinal cord.I can't even think about never walking again Carloca tells him.

The Dr. tells her from what the analysis he has run on her so far tell him there is nothing wrong with her to cause her paralysis but it's all mental.

Uh Dr. we could have told you that but you didn't bother to ask the audience about La Loca's mental state now did you.

This of course gets the Carloca upset and she ask him are you calling me crazy. YES i am Carloca but the Dr. says no, no i not saying you're crazy.

What you are experiencing is not logigcally normal so that's why i said that but tomorrow or in three days if you don't recover the feeling in your legs. You will be transferred to the prison.

Carloca does not look happy with this news at all.

Paloma is waiting for Romina to come downstairs, Romina tells her to forgive her for making her wait but she was with her baby.

Romina tells Paloma how much she has missed her being here, Paloma says i heard about your accident so i came to see how you are doing.

Not good Romina cries i don't feel comfortable and i'm always nervous and afraid of everything she tells her how she is in a panic about everything.

Paloma encourages and tells her she is not alone yes if it wasn't for my mother Romina tells Paloma. Not just your mother Romina,Paloma then walks over and gives her a hug heart warming hug.
 

Paloma says the reason i am here was to ask if you want to come be at my wedding when i marry Gabriel it wouldn't be the same with you not there.

Is that true you really like me to be there ask Romina shocked at this kind forgiveness from Paloma. Yes its true i want you to be there when i marry Gabriel and leave RDM for always.

Out of all the people who will come i would love for you to be there Paloma tells a shocked and grateful Romina tells her childhood best friend i want you to be so very happy with Gabriel.

Please forgive me for everything i said to you and all of the foolish things i did towards you a emotional Romina crying non stop at this point so am i.She ask Paloma to forgive her please i love you, i love you a crying Paloma tells her friend while they both hug each other.

Romina tells Paloma she feels the same way too towards her and she won't hurt her anymore she promises her, the two friends still hugging and crying with each other after reconciling.

Liliana is visiting a jailed German and tells him she has to leave now but she will be thinking of him. German gets up with her and thanks her for stopping by and what a fool he was towards her.

Liliana tells him when he gets out to come and look her and Eric up if he wants to are you sure you want me to go look you and your fiance up ask German teasing her.

On a serious note German ask for Liliana forgiveness can we be friends,Liliana lets him know that there is nothing to forgive and that they will always be friends. They give each other a heartfelt hug.

Angelica is on the phone with Gloria who tells her she has to come quickly back to Mexico within three days.
 

Angelica says it sounds serious of course it is Gloria tells her don't you like this, yes i wanted this but i didn't think it would happen this soon Angelica tells her.

Gloria says yes but it's best that you are here to deal with the audience that she will have is that a problem Angelica she is asked.Are you listening ask Gloria no, no Angelica tells her the problem maybe with her boss Orlando.

There maybe some complications from her work that is all Angelica tells her i understand Gloria tells her but i still need you to come here though. I need to speak to Orlando Angelica tell her.

Gloria lets Angelica know she has to do it quickly because she needs her there ok no problem once i talk to Orlando i'll be right there as soon as possible Angelica reassures her.

Joel and Monica are being married with Camila as Monica's bridesmaid and Rafel as Joel best man look on with others watching this holy matrimony taking place.

The official ask Camila to sign the paper as a witness to the marriage and then she passes the pen to Rafael hand. Fingers touch and que their theme song music in the background starts and they share a longing look to each other.

Rafael then bends down and signs the same paper too, then Joel and Monica step forward while are two lovebirds keep looking into each others eyes behind them.

While our favorite purple serial killer is rubbing her legs sitting up in her hospital bed while her crazy music plays in the background.
 

It seems by the way Carloca is rubbing her legs and has her little smirk on her face that she is getting some sensation back into her legs. At this point Huh Oh everyone on her hit list should be running for the hills.She picks up each leg and keeps rubbing them with her smirk.

Joel and Monica are being declared man and wife they kiss to make it official and then each hug Rafael and Camila. Then the extra paid actors come up and hug Monica and Joel a uncomfortable Camila glances at Rafael and walks away.

Rafael follows her and ask now, Camila responds questioning now what nothing the only thing important to me is but she is interrupted by Rafael who tells her yes Camila the only thing important to you should be love.

Now i am free and very soon you will be to Camila tells him she will have to wait but Rafael tells her he doesn't care it doesn't matter to him if he has to wait a year for him to be with her.

It's not the same as your separation from Diana was like Camila tells him and then i have think about my daughter and her problems also.

Now once again Rafael ask her again while it seems Camila is still trying to give him excuses why it will be difficult for them to be together and how important it is for him to know it.Rafael then tells her what all her talk means to him he tells her he loves her.

He tells her again he loves her just in case she didn't hear it the first time then Camila seems convinced by him tells him she loves him too.

They look lovingly into each others eyes holding one another while Joel and Monica come out and look at them approvingly.
 

Paloma is coming out of Camila's house after visiting Romina and here comes the Emoon with his Flowers drooping upon seeing her.That's sort of symbolic don't you think since he's a big drip himself anyway.

He ask why did she come to see Romina, yes responds Paloma but she tells him how Romina is feeling down right now. Emoon agrees and then ask if she saw Bernardo no she replies.

Are you here to see Romina she ask yes he responds i have the papers for her to sign for our divorce he shows her the big envelope. Now before others when it was discovered that Romina lied about Bernardo paternity people were piling onto her i disagree because she needed to be confronted with her lies.

This right here by the son of insensitive Clueless number one is piling on does this boy's brain function at all. Maybe he needs to borrow some grey matter from Carloca or something.

Ok back to the story sorry for the rant, he tells Paloma how he will be free very soon from this marriage. All he wants to be now is happy you can be happy with Anamar no we are only friends that's all Emoon tells her. Meanwhile Paloma looks uncomfortable from pushy Emoon.

Orlando is signing some papers from Angelica asking her how long will she be gone three days Angelica tells him i'll be leaving tomorrow she tells him.

Orlando tells fine does she want him to go with her to the airport, no it's not necessary she tells him. Why not Orlando ask her it seems that these two are flirting with each other about now.

Angelica smiling tells him he doesn't need to but Orlando leans in and lets her know he will be there for her no matter what happens with her case against Dario.

Angelica looks wide eyed which is normal for her and surprised by this declaration from Orlando.
 

Romina is signing the divorce papers finally while Emoon is bonding with baby Bernardo she tells him she finished and he's finally free like he wanted.

Emoon tells her thank you while he puts the baby carefully back into his crib.She ask him what about German since he is really Bernardo's father. I don't know Emoon tells her but i still want to be near him and can always have two fathers Emoon says.

Yes Romina says two fathers you know how much i like being near him Emoon tells her while she gets up and comes over to the crib by him.

Romina talks about how bad she been toward Bernardo and he's the only one she should be focusing on now. She wants to be a better mother towards him and how much he is helping her to learn to love unselfishly.

She is worried about being a good mother and very afraid after her accident and how much it has affect her but Emoon tells her not to worry she'll get the hang of motherhood like all the rest of woman centuries before her have. He knows that she is sick right now but she will get better.

Meanwhile a happy Camila and Rafael are at a restaurant and Camila can't believe after all they have been through that they are finally together.

Now that your marriage is over with Orlando tomorrow you and i can be together now but Camila the wet blanket that she is tells him how she is afraid still.

Rafael tells her he doesn't want to hear her excuses after he come back. He will be going on business to Spain soon then Camila ask him if she can go with him. Wow Camila you turned Orlando down flat about Houston but now you're practically sitting in Rafael's lap on the plane to Spain.
 

Camila is so excited with asking Rafael to take her with him i guess she really did love Rafael after all.Are you very sure ask Rafael Camila is like let's buy our tickets now big boy and hop on that plane.

She has never been so sure about anything else she tells him thanks to Luz. Luz ask a questioning Rafael ask her yes she told me how you two were separated and the reason why.

Camila tells him this time she will fight for him and their love with her life and same goes for me Rafael tells her.Rafael tells her how Luz filled a need for him at that time in his life and while he does love her it's not the same.

You're the only woman i need who is necessary for me to be totally happy with he tells her i love you he tells her. I love you Camila tells him back. Can the que up the Whitney Houston song " I will always love you".

They then kiss each other at the restaurant.

Night falls upon our little sleepy town of RDM and we see Paloma on the phone in her hotel room asking Gabriel how he is doing and how much she misses him.
 

Gabriel sits on the floor of his room telling her how he is getting everything ready for when they get married. How are you doing he ask her ok she tells him.

Are you sure everything is alright Paloma ask him again but Gabriel lies and tells her he is fine it's just that he misses her a lot and how he wants to kiss her again and again when he sees her again.

Paloma seems to believe this excuse and tells him she will see him tomorrow while a very sick looking Gabriel tells her how much her kisses mean to him in his life. I love you and goodnight he tells her, he hangs up holding himself looking like this is his last goodbye to his love.

Gabriel is holding himself crying asking himself out loud why he can't have more time to be with Paloma who he loves so much.

Rafael is with Camila telling her still how much he loves her at his apartment they exchanged prolonged kisses.

Emoon comes back to his hotel room with his divorce papers flashback to some more darn Paloma and him flashbacks. As Rufi would say Ya Basta!!!!! We see the beginning of them together up to now.

He wonders out loud with a tear from the visine bottle on his cheek if there is hope for him with his woman she's the only one he wants.

Paloma is sitting on her bed looking very uneasy either it's from her conversation with Gabriel or maybe it's something she ate.When Rufi comes out and ask her what's wrong why does she look like that.

I don't know but i feel very uneasy after i just talked to Gabriel she tells her she knows she just wants him near her soon since Emoon is going to be free now that his divorce is final from Romina.
 

Rufi gives her some good sound advice if she feels that way then maybe she should cancel her wedding to Gabriel but Paloma just like Camila tells her no.

Rufi tells her is it because he's dying no RuFi no insist a not believable Paloma says she isn't marrying him out of pity.

I think at this time we should hook Paloma up with Juan Miguel San Roman a man who always asked the ladies to marry him on CCEA and Paloma who is always agreeing to marry anyone who ask her to perfect match but what do i know.

Now back to our story Gabriel is still on the floor of his bedroom curled up into a sitting fetal position looking sad when Eugenio walks in and ask him has he come to a decision about what he will do.

Yes Gabriel says sadly and ask Eugenio i won't cancel my wedding to Paloma i still want to marry her in church and see her all in white and then their theme song ques up at this point.Eugenio nods his head in agreement with his son's wishes while Gabriel looks at his father with resignation with his fate.

Daylight comes and we see a blindfolded Rufi being led by Paloma who complains that she can't see where she is going because of the blindfold. Paloma assures her not to worry that is why she is guiding her.

Rufi stubbornly refuse to budge anymore until Paloma tells her where she is taking her but Paloma teases her about being almost there anyway just a few more steps.
 

She leads her to a house with a bow of the front door and the window facing the street she then takes off the blind fold and ask Rufi how does she like it. Rufi is looking at in shock then Paloma tells her this is your house Rufi my house echoes a surprised Rufi.

Rufi still can't believe it and calls Paloma her little girl, while Paloma tells her how much her love for her meant to her grow up and how special she is to her and she loves her very much.

This is her way of thanking her for being in her life Rufi overcome hugs a happy Paloma in front of her brand new house.

A woman opens a door and ask Romina to enter i take it this is Romina's therapist she ask her why she is here. Romina tells her how much work she be to get better for her son an uneasy Romina tells her therapist.

The therapist brings up Romina's car accident and how much it has effected her when she talked to her over the phone before this visit.

A panicked Romina tells her therapist her experience and how she felt trapped in the car with the smell of gas and seeing the fire and how afraid she was.She thought the car was going to explode with her trapped inside she starts to breathe heavily.

The therapist tells her to be calm and she tells her how that experience can be very traumatizing. Gee you think? What else do you feel she ask her.

I feel claustrophobic when i'm in small spaces she tells her therapist don't worry her therapist says we'll get you better in no time.

What else is bothering you ask her therapist,yes a reluctant Romina tells her i don't like myself. Why what is the reason ask her therapist, i can't be happy Romina tells her.
 

Nothing i have done has made me happy she tells her therapist and i always wanted what Paloma had all the guys wanting her it didn't matter to me if i hurt her or not.

The therapist says it looks like they have a lot of things to cover with to get her well it will take time but little by little she will get better.Is there anything else that important to you ask the therapist my son says Romina.

She tells her how she left him but know she wants be a good mother to him and maybe the father of her son.She talks about how he has always wanted her and to be near her not Paloma.

The therapist tells her it's good that she recognizes that and now maybe her conscious will help her better deal better with everyone she meets now.

Instead of being provoked by them to being nasty towards them,pain sadness this not something only you have experienced but all of us have had.

Romina the fact is i believe i can help you and that you want to be helped too now and you will be a better person because i'm sure you want too.Do you believe that ask Romina.

No i don't believe it until you try too Romina her therapist tells her then takes out a tape recorder to record their session of therapy. Romina looks on with fear as she embarks on trying to be happy with herself.
 

German sits in a cell alone when Emoon comes by to see him, German sees him and ask him if he came by to see him. He gets up and goes over to the bars and talks to Emoon.

Emoon ask how he is doing so-so says German,Emoon tells him how PJC told him he should come and visit his friend.German looks down ashamed he tells Emoon thank you for helping him and he knows what he did to him was low down and dirty.

Emoon tells him this isn't necessary but German insist on telling him you were always like a brother to me, i know how you can't forgive me for what i did to you. Emoon tells him reluctantly it's ok.German ask him that i hope one day that you can forgive me though.

Emoon tells him i hope that maybe i can trust you again, while giving each other a man stare of love no not that kind of love but friendship.

Romina sits in her bedroom reading her letter from German who tells how he did many things wrong especially towards Emoon but i want you to know and accept that to me you are the most beautiful woman in all of RDM from your eye, and your pretty smile all of you is marvelous for me.

I was a fool thinking money and position were more important than anything else but now truthfully after all that has happened you are the only important woman in my life.

Romina closes the letter and hugs it too her bosom cherishing the words and feeling for the first time a man loving Romina for being Romina.She closes her eyes crying and hugging his letter to her.

I was really impressed by so much of the acting --especially Romina and German. I also was moved by Gabriel.

About giving Rufi her own house --I thought the plan was for Madeline and Rufi to live together.

I am thinking that the last episode will mainly deal with Carloca, although the Paloma/Gabe wedding and relationship will have to be resolved. I hope Gabe gets the chance to see Paloma in her wedding dress, and that she doesn't have another trauma around her wedding.
We'll see....But in any event,I think the writers have done a good job in winding up this novela.

Gabriel enters a office welcomed by another man they sit and the man turns out to be Gabriel's lawyer. Gabriel tells his lawyer he wants to everything he has to Paloma once he dies.

The lawyer tells Gabriel how Eugenio ask him to talk to him once hearing Gabriel's wishes the lawyer tells Gabriel that he doesn't recommend he do that at this moment. Gabriel insist that he loves Paloma she is the love of his life and he will not change his mind.

German is shown into a room by one of the guards he is surprised to see Romina and Bernardo waiting there for him. She ask him how he is doing here he ask surprised again.

He then ask her if he can hold his son how precious he is he tells her, yes agree Romina she then teases him about how he looks like her but German disagrees and says he looks more like him.

He ask her how is she is feeling better she says yes and she will get better each day that goes by.

German can't stop smiling at his son thanks for coming by with his son. He tells her how stupid he was and all he thinks about is her, i don't know about you but you were the only good thing i ever had in my life he tells her.


Romina tells him her feelings are the same towards him she then tells him how PJC says there a possibility he can get out early.

German swears he will be better once he gets out he knows he can. Romina then tells him its time that they leave him, she thanks him for the letter he wrote her.

German ask Romina for a chance to be apart off her life with their son if that's what she wants.He tells her to think about what he ask of her. He kisses her goodbye on the cheek and calls her his princess asking to come visit him again soon.
 

While looking deeply into her eyes he kisses his son on his forehead too, then guard opens the door and lets her out she turns and looks back at German.

Gabriel is painting frantically this looks like his best painting yet,Eugenio comes out and looks over at his son with concern and worry etched on his face. never mind i got a closer look at that painting and it was crap.

Daytime again in RDM and the girls Paloma Camila, Mother Superior,Romina Liliana,Madeline,Sandra and Rufi who is getting refreshments are having a bachelorette party.

Really what young girl invites her Mother Superior to her bachelorette party? Anyhow Camila wants Rufi to join in the boring fun.

Paloma follows her, Camila calls Paloma her little girl how much she likes it that she is finally happy thank you says a toothy grinning Paloma.

Camila tells her how Macarena would be so happy for her if she was here with us can i say something to you ask Paloma.

Anything you want a glowing Camila tells her holding both of her hands, you have always been like another mother for me Paloma tells her and thank you for all the help you have given me.

Camila tells her i did everything because liked you very much, Romina walks up and hugs her mother. Paloma tells them both how much they mean to her, Camila wants them all to always be in each others life for always.

Camila takes the refreshments in asking Rufi to come join the mad wild party see this why you don't invite Mother Superiors to bachelorette parties no male strippers bummer.
 

Thanks, Anonymous, for another wonderfully detailed recap. Yes, it certainly does look as if Carloca is regaining feeling in her legs. And that certainly doesn't bode well for The Good Guys/Gals.
 

Romina tries to stop Paloma from joining the wild party by wanting to have a one on one real girl talk, but Paloma doesn't want to hear what she has to say by telling her she is getting married to Gabriel and she doesn't want to hear anything else.

Paloma then drags Romina back into the girl party it turns night and quickly back into daytime.

Paloma is in another white wedding dress showing off for her two grandmothers,Madeline assures her she has never seen a more beautiful bride than her.

Paloma blushing from the compliment tells her she is blind because she is her granddaughter then that makes both us then chimes in Rufi.

Who also confirms how pretty she is really ask Paloma yes Rufi tells her, i just wish my mother was here to see me at my wedding a wistful Paloma tells the.

Madeline tells her i know you want your mother to be here but at least her father is here for her instead. Your right Paloma tells he grandmother, while Rufi tells her i know that Macarena is here.

She may not be here physically says Rufi but she is here i can sense her presence spiritually and looking on you from heaven above.

No daughter no Madeline urges her not to be sad today is your wedding day my love be happy her grandmother ask her.
 

Paloma agrees then Rufi gets up and tells her she has something to give her she shows her Macarena's pearl necklace.

Paloma is very happy to see that and runs over for Rufi to put it around her neck as Paloma stretches it, it breaks apart bad omen.She is clearly upset and so is Rufi both know about bad omens since dealing with Carloca.

Madeline tells them not to worry this is good luck and it means that they never have to deal with a bad person like Carloca ever again in their lives. Apparently Madeline is not aware of that we have two hours left of this show so we'll just chalk this up to the writers throwing this in because they were tired huh.

Madelinne keeps assuring the two doubtful supertitious ones in the room with her that this is a sign of good fortune to come not to worry at all.Is that true ask Paloma yes it's true says Madeline.

Now you can get married with your heart to your true love, while Paloma looks ill at ease with these last words says if that is what you say.

I just wanted to wear something that belonged to my mother that's all, Rufi says wait i got something else for you.

Rufi is humming off key very badly while a worried Madeline looks at her granddaughter and hopes she bought that B.S. story she just told her.

Rufi comes back from the drawer still humming off key carrying a ring she presents this to Paloma and tells her this belonged to her mother.
 

We then hear Macarena,Cris and Paloma's theme song in the background, Rufi tells them how Macarena was given this ring by Cris when they promised to marry each other.

I got in the hospital your aunt La Loca had it can you believe that yes sadly Paloma says she can, Madeline says wait a minute your aunt did what and had what.

This sends Rufi and Paloma into a giggling fit as madeline puts a hex, a curse a some type of juju on Carloca.

Speaking of the mad purple witch she is sitting up in bed holding her left arm like she had a shot, steaming in anger saying out loud that Paloma will be in church right about now and that damn Dr. won't help her get out of here she says this last part through her teeth clench in anger.

While we here the Purple Grinch's mad music playing in the background, looking and thinking for away to get out from the hospital with the guards outside watching her room.

Emoon is in his dark room moping on his bed when someone knocks on his door he goes and opens it and sees Rafael there with his breakfast.

I was thinking about you so i decided to join you Rafael tells his depressing son.Thank you Emoon tells his father he tells him he could have went with Camila to the wedding.
 

Anon I am going to miss your Friday recaps. Always great detail. Tonight I loved your comments about the good doctor dealing with La Loca. Isn't it the truth? If only these characters would ask Viewerville, so much pain and heartache would be avoided :)

I too was impressed by the scene btw Germs and Romina. I had hoped yesterday there would be one, and it was worth it. So glad she brought Bernardo. It was beautifully understated, which made it all the sweeter. You were left feeling these two will have a future and be okay. The two actors played it perfectly.

Wish Romina's Mama was equally understated with Rafa. Lord, Camilla is all over the place but he finally convinced her. And I too was WTH when she was so eager to go with him to Spain. Must have just been Oily Orly and the humidity in Houston she wasn't keen on.

At least Romina will have her friends back around her again as momma flies the friendly skies. You just knew she and Pal would make up, and Emi, for the baby,will be around too. One big happy dysfuntional family. Should say this will be Pal's "family" too since we just know how this is going to end...

Which, I'm sorry, I still wish it would end otherwise. I've never been an Emi fan and the more I have watched, the more I just wish the relationship with Gabe had played out differently. Gabe is heartbreaking to watch (wonderful job by Elias) and seeing the pain equally coming from Eugenio (kudos to Cesar too)...with La Loca on the loose soon (there's goose pimplies going up and down those legs I'm sure) Sunday is going to be a tough two hours to watch. Kleenex to the ready!!!

I will add that Pal looked gorgeous in her wedding gown. Sexy and sweet. Finally stopped making her look like a frump.
 

Yes Rafael agrees with his son he could have gone with Camila but he knows how much pain he is in from Paloma marrying someone else. I don't even want to think about it whines Emoon well then go and wash up says Rafael and lets leave RDM Emoon just stares at his father after he tells him this.


Rufi gives Paloma the sign of the cross and while Madeline looks on her man servant has the door open for them to leave for church.

When Romina shows up in her sea green blue dress wishing everyone a Good morning,Paloma is surprised to see her here now. She ask to speak to Paloma alone for a moment.

Madeline says ok but don't forget we have to be at the church soon,yes Paloma tells her while Rufi and Madeline leave them both alone.

Romina looks fidgety and very uncomfortable i know this isn't the right time to tell you this but you didn't to talk to me the other day so i have to say this to you now. Paloma is looking very uneasy with what she might say and tells her she does not want to talk to her about Emoon.
 

I can't let you get married she takes a deep breath and continues to say to Gabriel until you listen to what i have to say why because it's very important to you. I believe this where our bad girl has finally and totally seen the light and will tell Paloma i hope and guess that she never had sex with Emoon like she claimed.

We see a preview of scenes from past episodes in our final montage leading up to the two hour Gran final for Sunday. The first hour will be the 7:00pm repeat of this episode and the last two hours 8:00 to 10:00 pm ENDA's Gran Final. So those last two episodes i hope will be satisfying because we got a lot of redemption, forgiveness and repenting and closure for most of these characters in this episode.

Thanks for the recap Love ENDA Anon. I still have to read through it, but one note. They have been advertising for the last few days that the Grand Final starts at 8:30/7:30 Central. I assume the repeat hour must start at 7:30/6:30. I believe it was the 8/7 at one time, that's what I remember, but the time has been changed now during the commercials. :)
 

I watched the episode this morning just before heading out to pilates. Haven't had time to read the recap or the comments yet, and won't get a chance till much later. But I have to say this, everyone brought their A-game to this episode. I had to use quite a few tissues while watching the scenes between Romina and Pal, Romina and German, and Gabe alone and with his dad. Not wise to watch something like that just before pilates! Lol!

Looking forward to reading the recap and the comments later, and really looking forward to the grand finale tomorrow. Forget the Oscars! :)

I also saw that odd time thing but then last night it was back to 7 and 8. In any event I'm really torn because of the damn Oscars at the same time. Something has to give so i guess it will be Oscar and i can't tape either show since I'm already taping something else. I'm mystified as to why they would wrap up a novela on Sunday other than to be sure and kick off Mi Pecado on Monday.
 

Ok i just saw what Jeff said about the time change and he is right apparently they are showing a football or should i say soccer game before ENDA's Gran Final. I guess they are preparing for it maybe not finishing up on time that's why they pushed ENDA's Final back by a half hour.

My suggestion is if you want to turn it on at 7:00 anyway to see if it ends around that time or check back at 7:30.

It's up to you because the first hour is a repeat of Friday's episode.
 

First rate performances in key scenes. This novela is wrapping up its story lines nicely and not rushed like too many do.

I'm sorry but Rafa and Camila are so tedious. She wouldn't have anything to do with him while he was separated from Diana but is hot to jump on a plane and fly off to Spain while still tangled up with Orly. I wish she would stake out a moral position and stick to it.

The scenes, all of them with German, were great with the proper emotional tone in each one. Loved the look on his face when he saw the baby with Romina. I guess when PJC and Don E talked to him he got the picture and took a hard look at himself. I never really thought he was a bad person just one with no emotional anchor.

I only found one slightly off putting thing with Romina. At yet another dull bachelorette party when Camila was talking to Paloma and Romina came up for a split second she had that jealous look on her face that she used to get. It was gone in an instant so at least her redemption hasn't miraculously turned her into a saint overnight. She has a way to go to learn to understand herself.

I was saddened to see the pearl necklace break since it had been a gift from Cris to Macarena and i thought it fitting that Paloma wear it. However pearls are a symbol of tears so maybe them rolling around on the floor was a sign that all the tears in Paloma's life will be gone. Unfortunately we know that isn't quite true. I have to add that Paloma looked absolutely stunning. Must be that French grandmother. Finally she seems to moving out of frumpsville as well as crazyland.

I know I'm the lone voice on this one but I'm still not crazy about Gabe marrying Paloma and grabbing for a few days of happiness when he knows the affect his death will have on her. Yes, she knows and accepts it but it just seems cruel to me not romantic.

Yep look likes the Crazy Purple One has been getting feeling back in her legs. I almost choked when the doctor told her it was all in her mind and she snarled do you think I'm crazy. Answer to that one is easy for all of us - hell yes. I can't figure out how she is going to get passed those guards. Didn't she ask how many there were or did I dream that.

Only two hours to go, three story lines to clear up so here is hoping they do it up right and not cram a bunch of non essential stuff into the end and disappoint us. I am truly going to miss the folks in Real del Monte.
 

Hmm, last night they were still advertising 8:30/7:30 here. I'd seen that for a few days. My wife commented last night, 7:30, I thought it was 7:00. That's why I know they were still advertising the 7:30 time here last night. We'll just have to be watching and find out. Could be any time. Check your local listings... And don't trust them. ;)

I agree with one of the commentors that THIS is the way to wrap up a novela, so much richer than was Sorti. The acting has been superb. I'm trying to wrap my mind around Emiliano's acting job. I've decided to accept him as Paloma's true love after all. May as well.

Speakiong of Emiliano, I'm pretty sure that's him in a bad long wig on Corazon. And Camilla seems to be the long lost mother of Juan de Dios on the same novela....shrouded in black veils. How do actors manage to bounce over to another novela so quickly after what must be an extremely strenuous work schedule like EDNA?

This has truly been a special group following EDNA this time around. I hope to hear where you all land on the new novela schedule.

Mildred to answer quetion about Sebastian Zurita that's Emiliano to us ENDA fans and Laura Flores as Camila in ENDA too. ENDA finished up in Mexico i think it was around June of last year.

We started to see ENDA over here in July after CCEA ended it's run.

Corazon Salvage started in Mexico in October of last year and did not start until Febuary of this year over here.

You would be surprised at some of the time line differences for when the novelas are shown in Mexico and then shown over here.

I'll give you a example Erick Elias who is Gabriel in ENDA has another novela showing right now called Tormenta en el Paraiso that started in 2007 and finished up in 2008. They just started showing this novela over here in 2009.

So when you sometimes see a star on a another novela at the same time or one on top of another it usually the scheduling differences between Mexico and over here in the States.
 

Due to the different times they've shown for the finale, I'll just turn the TV on at 5:00. Don't want to miss anything :)

Decie, I agree about Gabe. I understand that he wants to live as much life as he can in the time he has left and even though Pal accepts that his days are numbered, it seems a little selfish on his part. I'm sure I'll forgive him the next time he smiles.

I may have just secured my win over Romina in the worst Mom of the year competition. Last night, my 13 year old son let me know how happy he was that this show will be over and he will never have to hear those horrible songs again (personally, I think the music was great). This morning, I secretly replaced all of the music on his iPod with every song I could find from ENDA. Just wish I had the bassos so that I would know in advance when he will retaliate ;)

Thanks for the semi-recap Enda loves Anon. Your one liners are funny too. I too agreed with the reconciliation of everyone involved. Paloma and Romina are like two sisters that keep fighting but finally totally really made up.

Maybe it is just fitting that Paloma marry Gabriel. Why not?

On thing that may require a beany is Paloma buying a house for Rufi so quckly. I don't know the porcess of buying houses in Mexico, but that takes a long time. Same thing with transferring the assets from Carlota to Paloma. It would take at least a few days with the paperwork. I don't think it is as quckly as a mouse click.

I wonder how Carlota will circumvent the guards if her legs indeed get better. This requires a lot of planning and the wedding is minutes away. Even if her legs are working again, she should still be in pain and have to hobble around. After a football game, your body still aches for a few days.

I like to see Romina happy, Paloma too. I like those two girls. I want to see Liliana and Romina make up too. Both girls are not bad.

Seems we are having a good ending here. Overall though, what series do you all like MEPS, SORTI or ENDA? The whole body of work for MEPS and SORTI were ok but the ending s left a little to be desired.

I also enjoyed ENDA's music only time i didn't like it so much was when i was recapping and the music was so loud i couldn't the conversation.

I don't know what it is but every time i hear the song Cada Color al Cielo i teared up they just played that song at the right moments through out this novela.

ITA with everyone that the acting last night was just so excellent that's why i said Altair Jarabo as Romina and Ferdinando Valencia as German have very bright futures ahead of them.
 

Gabriel from ENDA is also on the Zorro rerun and he looks exactly the same way except for his clothes of course. But the hairstyle, beard, everything.

Sarah Coralles the Colombian actress on Vecinos in Telefutura was also in the last 2 weeks of Victorinos in Telemundo. Both shows ran at the same time! 10pm est. :)

Yes Emiliano is Gabriel on Corazon Salvaje. And Camila is Maria Del Rosario on Corazon....

I'm no wimpy guy, but I will buy the ENDA soundtrack. I liked Paula Pausini singing the intro since I heard it.

It is interesting that only a few people were commneting when the series was new. It seemed too dark for their taste I guess. I threw in some comments earlier. This was this first non 9pm series that I followed beginning to end, though I also multitaked here more than when the 9pm shows were on, until last month when I totally focused watching this.

I don't understand the semi-recap comment.

Liliana was at the bachelorette party given for Paloma at Camila's house so while Liliana and Romina may never be the best of friends they can at least be a little more civil towards each other. Rather than the constant b!tchy sniping they used to do.

As some have said that Gabriel maybe selfish wanting to marry Paloma knowing he's going to die any minute. I don't know if i agree with that but the fact that he wants to leave everything he has to her once he dies is selfless to me.

I guess by what we are seeing there doesn't look like they are going to have a wedding night anyway.

Paloma probably got the money from her grandmother to buy Rufi's house.
 

When I said semi-recap, I meant that since you were not officially Cathy and Chris' replacement recapper, you decided to fill in the Fridays instead of formally be the designated recapper. It was not meant to offend. :)


It's all good though. I did my unexpected emergency one shot,one off recap of the FELS finale. I do like the detail you put into recapping. I like lots of details.

I have to say the one thing I have found consistent in novelas is that the music is often excellent. Because of that I became a big fan of a lot of Mexican singers and told my husband it is amazing how many very big names sing theme songs on these shows.

On the down side one of the problems with Mexican novelas is poor soiund quality. I don't know if it is the equipment or the engineers but there is way too much music drowning out the actors or in outdoor scenes actual street noise and don't get me started on crowd scenes. I once saw a scene that took place outside of a hospital. The actor and actress were having a serious conversation but in the background a fire engine went by (you didn't see it) sirens blasting. It totally drowned them out and both of them actually struggled to keep from laughing.

I took a look at CS the other night (big mistake) and the same thing. It was a ball scene, with what looked like a group of 12 and all in masks. They were Venetian and some actually covered the mouth so you literally couldn't hear a thing the actor was saying. It was hilarious, and talk about cheesy filming!!! Yanez, the hero is too old for the part to begin with and in some of the shots in the scene I saw they filmed him at such an angle you could see a double chin. Later on on another site someone was complaining the way we do here about not being able to hear over the music. I don't seem to remember it happening in novelas from other countries.

Maybe with the royalty payments they have to make they want to be sure they get their moneys worth and therefore blast it at every opportunity. LOL
 

An interesting thing I learned last year in our discussions is that in Mexican TN's, they want to take as less takes as possible and to keep shooting. They will sometimes do 3 or 4 episodes a week. Amazing. But the qulity suffers a bit. Here Movies and some shows take weeks and months to finish.

decie girl, maybe you're on to something with the music, these are current songs by notable artists, and the popularity of the show I'm sure helps sales of the music. Hey, I realized I was so use to hearing certain songs which I loved and they were going to be going away, I spent the other night downloading those I'll miss most, especially Pegadito and Subito Latido. Guess their methods work!
 

The cool thing about the ENDA songs is that Laura Pausini is an Italian who also speaks Spansih and English. A trilingual singer.

I'm so thankful to all the recappers of this show. My Spanish is getting better, but I still depend in big part on the recaps.

It was such an beautiful episode. I'm only surprised that Rufi's house is in Real del Monte. Didn't Paloma said, that she is not returning to the pueblo after she gets married?

I agree with everyone that the music had been great. My favorite was Gabriel's heme song.

I'd like to expand a bit on what the Bishop said to Cris. I don't think he said it was nearly impossible for men to be abstinent. He said that in the long history of the Church there had been bishops who were ordained as priests after having a child and also priests, like Cris, who discovered they had fathered a child before becoming a priest and never knew about the child's existence.

It was such a pleasure to see Romina coming around. I loved her reconciliation with Paloma. It wasn't abrupt, since Romina has on other occasions shown by her facial expressions that she missed Paloma's friendship, how close they were as children. But her jealousy always won out.

I enjoyed Camila and Rafael's coming together. I did not get the impression that Camila had any doubts at all. What she was telling Rafa was that before she was always thinking first of Romina and her reaction to her mother being with a man still married. This is what she told him just outside the room where the civil ceremony was held. The implication was that she had put those doubts behind her and, even though Orly was going to insist on the one year, she didn't intend to virtuously wait until her divorce was final. Thus, it was not that big a personality change when she said she wanted to go to Spain with him. She knows what she wants. she now trusts Romina with her grandchild, and it's time to put herself first. Worked for me.

Angelica is going to Mexico for some sort of a hearing, presumably bringing the evidence that the woman at the Mexican Copyright Office told her to gather. Then, if Dario actually shows up, they'll dispute the authorship of the book. They didn't mention the other woman he plagiarized, which sort of surprised me. I hope we get to see Dario humiliated, and that there are no more scenes of violence on his part.

Seems like they're leaning toward Ro and Germs ending up together. Sweet scene with him holding the gigantic baby!

Madelaine was sort of odd with the bad juju stuff about the pearls. It didn't seem to me like she was only trying to get Paloma past the pearls breaking. It seemed as if she actually believed that those pearls had brought bad luck to every woman who wore them, and that their breaking was a good omen.
 

Quite frankly your comment is offensive because i've been doing the Friday recap for several months now since the original regular recapper could not continue.

Some people should choose their comments wisely before hitting the send button because they come off as insensitive as Orlando's comments did on ENDA.

What you did yourself as a fill in has no bearing on what i did, i'm not sure if someone called your hard work semi or not but i don't care at all for that labeling of my work.

I've been nice enough to use my time to help with the Friday recapping of this novela because i love it, i don't recall you being around to fill in the Friday slot when it became vacant sorry that my work doesn't meet your standards. Hey no one is holding a gun to your head to read them though.

anon you're taking it the wrong way. I never said it never met my standards. Where did I say that? I was giving you credit for recapping. I know you have taken over contributing with the recaps. It's just that you never officially accepted to be the replacement but decided to contribute on an unofficial basis. There is nothing wrong with that. Don't get too oversensitive over nothing.

I gave you praise and credit for putting in such a detailed work. And I like that. I just speak my mind candidly and with no intention of offending. If my intention was too be critical, trust me I would use much stronger language. Sorry that's how you see it. Again, I was giving you credit.

I don't know if you guys remember but when they were giving us the previews of saying that Cesar Evora would be joining ENDA does anyone else remember the scene when he was in the house of misery how he was yelling out Carloca name.

I don't think we ever saw that scene yet.
 

I don't believe i had to be official to take over the recaps i was asked if i needed help or wanted to alternate at one time when i started this. I declined the help unless a emergency arose where i could not do it once again. I don't care to have my work labeled as you called it as me being over sensitive far from it.

Since i know for a fact that some regular recappers do not invite others to correct their work or contribute to it like i have done, and even getting offended and feeling upstaged by the commenters who they consider are upstaging their hard work.

I see there is no use in dealing with people who don't think or not considerate of others, oh by the way i could use offensive language too. This is a family friendly site except for a few exceptions.

I am now done dealing with the likes of you.

Read through the recap, another great one Loves ENDA Anon. We'll miss your recaps. Thanks about the time info. That makes sense why some of us saw a different time and others didn't. In MST and PST, the game would be over and still have the original start time. Us in the CST and EST may still have the game going and will have the later, different start time.

Angelica has that deer in the headlight looks quite a bit. Yep Ange, if you want the Oily Orly, he's all yours. Maybe he has learned a few things, maybe not.

I was thinking Joel and Monica had already married, but guess not. Clever match makers have Rafa and Cam the witnesses, even though I can't think of anyone else they would have had. :) Feel better about the Rafa/Cam matchup than I was a couple of weeks ago.

They are definitely doing a great job wrapping up all of these storylines. More being finished than some other TNs. But.. one way to look at it, life does not always wrap up nice and neat. They shouldn't always get wrapped.. but.. sure is a lot nicer. :)

Glad to see Lili was back in rumor central mode. Finally got a couple of new pieces of information and couldn't wait to spring them on the only person in RDM that didn't know about them, Paloma.

Romina sure has changed. I think she'll make it. Quite the turn around. Signed the divorce papers without a peep. Anon.. Good guess that she is perhaps going to tell Pal about not sleeping with Emoon. I couldn't guess what it could be.

Sure looks like Carloca will get her legs back. Probably sneak out with they take her for the IMR.

Jeff i appreciate your kind words and everyone else who enjoyed the work i did on the recaps i'm not going to let one insulting individual who thinks he's the determining person of who is official and who is not about doing the recaps.

The fact is it was only that one person who made a statement of that nature who does not want to accept how insulting it was says alot about that person to me.

I enjoyed this drama so much from the writing, the acting, directing and producing.The hours that the recappers put in for giving us the recaps has always been appreciated by me. I don't care if they are regulars or not the fact is their work on this is appreciated.

I'm very opinionated also but one thing i will not do is belittle some one going out of their way to help out with the recaps whether they are official or not.

Ibarramedia- I liked all three for different reasons. Loved the love story in Sorti (to me, there was a believable build-up to real and lasting love between the main couple); loved the mystery and intrigue in MEPS; loved the acting and story development in ENDA (but found it hard to watch in the beginning because of all the cruelty and tragedy that was being heaped on Pal and her reaction to it). But ENDA is winning the wrap-up/finale contest, hands down. The writers really did a great job there and I hope that other tn writers take note.

A HUGE "Thank You!" My Spanish is limited but improving. This telenovela captured me in November, but your recaps have helped me totally understand what I guessed at or missed.

I don't like Corazon Salvaje...not my cup of tea. I hope to find something each night for an hour to help me develop my "ear" for fast spoken Spanish! Suggestions welcome!

tm.. I don't know if you saw it, I posted late yesterday. Have you tried Hasta Que El Dinero? Comes on after ENDA. You had mentioned watching Gancho before it moved. Dinero is a light-hearted, so far anyway, comedy. It does have a fast spoken Spanish. Getting better all the time.

Definitely miss all the TNs after they are done. Love the music lead ins. I probably singing En Cambio No for the first couple of weeks of Mi Pecado. :)

I know it's too late and because this novela finished a long time ago in Mexico but i wished we had a couple more weeks of it.

I just hope Mi Pecado is half as good as ENDA has been:)

Tm i'm LOL at your description of CS as not your cup of tea, if you get Telemundo there are three on there you might like one them.

The first is El Clon at the 8:00pm hour, i don't watch that one but i know some others on this page or on the CS page might.

The second is Perro Amor i watch that one and i've fallen in love with it,it replaced Sortilegio once it ended for me.

The third that will be starting Monday Donde Estas Elisas it about a young girl i don't know if she is a still a teenager or early twenties who goes missing. How her missing affects her family and the secrets they have that will be exposed.

I'm definitely going to see if i like that one because it looks so very interesting.
 

The difference i found between these two channels is that Univision keeps promoting stories of saintly forgiving main leads. Who will even forgive you for murdering their parents.

Telemundo gives a more realistic human pov where the everyday individual will react as most humans would.

In case you don't have Telemundo i believe you can go to youtube to see their novelas. I don't think there novelas are not so strongly forced not to be shown on there unlike Univision novelas.

Also you can google these novelas and ask if there is a site where you can watch these novelas.

I did that with ENDA and found a site where i could watch it uninterrupted and full length videos, another part of this site that i loved after watching the ending the previews for the next episode was so totally different from what we saw over here.

tm, I agree with you about Corazón Salvaje. I watched a few episodes and decided not to continue. I don't have enough beanies to get me through it. Instead, I'm watching El Clon on Telemundo at 8 pm (Eastern time). It's certainly got its share of estupidez (it's a TN, after all), but I find it more interesting and better acted than CS. In fact, it's rather different from most of the other TNs I've watched. Part of it has been set in Morocco, and Muslim customs (or the TN version of those customs) play an important role (at least so far). Also, as the title El Clon suggests, it's apparently going to deal with human cloning. Finally, I like the music, and I love the fact that the Spanish captions are more easily readable and better timed than on Univision.

As someone else also mentioned, a new TN, "¿Dónde Está Elisa?" will begin very soon on Telemundo--perhaps this Monday. It looks from the trailers as if it will have elements of a police procedural as well as the typical TN love angle. I'm not sure what time it will be on, but if you're looking for something to replace ENDA or CS, I'd check out Telemundo.
 

Juanita that was me with the suggestion of the Telemundo novelas and Donde Estas Elisa will start this Monday at the 10:00 pm hour.

Jarocha said Corazon Salvage gets better later but i don't know if you want to watch at that time because the story will be further along.

Here's a interesting fact about the two leads for El Clon the younger ones played the two leads in Marina. Mauricio Ochmann was eventually replaced by Manolo Cardona.

I don't know if he was replaced because they did not like him as the male lead or if he had a prior commitment or what. When i saw they were both starring in this novela together i was like uh oh.

This is a remake of a Brazilian series that aired on Telemundo in 2002. I can't remember who was it that said the close captions on Telemundo are fantastic way and beyond better than what you get from Univision.

The funny thing about this or should i say sad is both channels are owned by Televisa.
 

Sandy just told me the same guys who gave us ENDA are producing Mi Pecado so lets hope it's just as good.

I was really touched by the reconciliation scene between Romina and Paloma. In this story, I have found the loss of a best girlfriend once of the saddest elements, and I was so glad to see them reunited. And I agree with you, njsue about Altair’s phenomenal acting.

German was wonderful too, but I keep worrying about that very shallow cell they hold him in, that is in full view of everyone and doesn’t seem to have a toilet.

I was wondering why Gabriel didn’t will his worldly goods to his father. And I wonder what worldly goods he has and how he got them, since he’s so young. Maybe an inheritance from his mother?

Maria – hey, you’re right! I didn’t think about how Rufi’s house is in Real del Monte, but Paloma’s taking off to live elsewhere. Quick thinking on your part! I’m just worried about Rufi living alone. A house is not necessarily a home, after all, and she’s always lived with Paloma’s family.

I puzzled over the Chris/paternity/bishop thing. We know that Carlota looked it up in the Churchman’s Guide to Bishoping and it very definitely stated that anyone who had a child, even before becoming a priest, couldn’t be a bishop. Maybe it’s the sort of fine print that people have turned a blind eye to for a few centuries and now nobody cares.
 

I'm so jealous that some of you have Telemundo to also go to for some good shows. Not available for me unless I pay big bucks. But I love the idea of checking the TN's online and watching there. May check that out.
I am looking forward to Mi Pecado. It may not be ENDA, though who knows. I too am trying, or should I say am suffering and snickering through episodes of CS, but lord it takes a lot to sit through an hour.Makes my head hurt. The one compensation is then reading the hysterical and wonderful recaps here afterwards. I may just chuck the shows and only read the recaps!

Daisynjay i'm so tired of these greedy cable stations and how they keep charging us for every little thing. I can also recommend that you can download cable TV onto your computer. They offer a lot of channels in the package. Telemundo maybe a part of that deal.

I don't if it's a one time payment like some of them offer but i don't think they charge you monthly like cable.You can put download cable TV into your google search engine and see if you might like to do that.

The videos on Telemundo are really good. I may watch Dinero and then at 9:00 watch El Clon for the previous evening on video from Telemundo. So far, in my opinion, the only good thing about Corazon is the recappers - especially Jardinera's humour on a Friday evening.

I have Dish Latino Classico for which I pay $29.99 per month. They often have promotions for a free dish if you sign up for a year. In Michigan, cable doesn't offer any Spanish channels - or did not last time I checked. I have 105 Spanish channels including one from Spain and CNN en Espanol. There is a History Channel but it seems that the programs are directly dubbed from the English version.

I get the free network channels such as PBS, NBC etc. But this is the only TV I have at the moment so I'm forced to learn Spanish - and its cheaper.

For me, there is too much soccer! They are even going on about the World Cup in my former country of South Africa - in June. This should be interesting as Zuma, the president has 3 wives, two former ones and a child out of wedlock. He claims that this is a Zulu custom. He would make a good study in a Telenovela.

So, I haul out my Spanish grammar book!

Lynne are you saying that you get El Clon at 9:00 because i live in NJ and over here El Clon is showed at the same time as Hasta Dinero 8:00pm.

Then it's followed up by Perro Amor at 9:00pm and starting tomorrow there's a new one called Donde Esta Elisa which looks very good.
 

Gloria - you are wonderful to offer! I think Novelera has volunteered to do half, if someone will share, or all. I don't know if anyone volunteered to do the other half, or which half it would be. I hope Novelera checks comments today.

I can't remember who commented about Telemundo's ownership. Telemundo is owned by NBC. I have wondered if this has given them better production values. They seem better to me. Music and street sounds do not drown out the speech, the captions are perfect, etc.
 

El Clon and Dinero are both at 8:00 p.m. unless I want to stay up for the West Coast one but I have to go to work next day! What I am saying is that I can watch Dinero at 8:00 on Univision East. At 9:00, I can watch the previous day's broadcast of El Clon on the Telemundo website.

I can also get Italian, German, Frence and almost any language package for about $10.00 per month. I'm sold on Dish.

Jarocha told us a couple of months ago that Televisa not only owns Univision,Telefutura but Telemundo too which i was very surprised about learning.

Since Jarocha has a lot of information about the industry i don't doubt the source.
 

I just realized a major problem with "Donde Esta Elisa?" -- there won't be recaps on Caray Caray. Bummer. But FWIW, you can see the first 21 minutes of it now on the Telemundo web site
