I have to say this made me whoop, though: "Tia Patty tells [Tonio] to get out and that now that Cameela and Pedro have reconciled, it will be hard to break them up." JAJAJAJAJA. Since when is it hard to break them up? You can break them up just by looking at them hard.
 

Cameela said that her an Pedro are ingaged? Didn't he get ingaged to lucrazy by the pool? So he has a wife Mariana and ingaged to a loony and a dumb bell. Great can't wait to see what happens next?
I bet u guys that Cameela is Dr Manuel's daughter. Once Elviral sees him and finds out that he is a Dr. She will go after him.
 

Oh please can we not have have another "I'm breaking up with you because of something that crazy girl Lucrezia said". When he left for LA, he knew the whole thing with Lulu was wrong. Let's give it a couple weeks. This thing with Mariana and Margarito and Claudio is more interesting.

Anon at 4:58--As far as Pedro was concerned, that little lei by the pool was not an engagement. Lulu declared they were novios now. I think Pedro did concede to someone that, yes, maybe they were....novios. But that's as far as it went. He does not consider that a compromiso for marriage. However, he does seem to collect women and assign them different rankings, no?

I'd love it if Cameela was Dr. Manuel's daughter. And speaking of the good Dr. Bermudez. There was a Dr. Bermudez in En Nombre de Amor, played by someone else. But I keep thinking that ElTal's Dr. Bermudez was also in ENDA. Wasn't he Emilio's dad or his biological dad (he had both).

We'll have to have another break-up, because Pedro whispered to Cameela on the beach, that nothing and nobody would ever separate them again. Isn't that what they said in the sacristy in Tijuana when they went together? And didn't they break up?

Well, I'm glad Camila didn't have to go through the embarassment of asking for a job in LA only to find out it was a ruse. OTOH, she probably would have traced it back to Lulu sooner or later.

I'm dying to find out if Mariana is going to fall for Pedro and he will feel obligated to stay with he, so she won't get *hurt.*

When Elvira and Maria were arguing, Elvy said that Maria had never forgiven her for stealing someones love. The CCs said Pedro's but I could not make out what she actually said but it didn't sound like Pedro to me.

I'm guessing (everyone was apparently ahead of me on this over the weekend) that it was Dr. Bermúdez since he appeared on screen even as she said it.

So what is Yenny supposed to tell the police that Camila has done?

Since Dr. B overheard Pedro being so affectionate with Camila on his cell phone is he going to deny that he knows Pedro's wife, Mariana?

He may be incredibly evil, but donG certainly sits comfortably astride a horse. He reminds of how my grandfather looked riding his favorite mare, Sugarfoot so many years ago.

Can someone please explain, in the avances for tomorrow, they show Tonio looking for Mariana? This guy is in LA? Why is he looking for Mariana?
 

Carlos-I think that Lucrazy tooks some pics of the fake Mariana (Yenny) with Cameela, and Yenny called Pedro with Cameela's phone and pretended to be Mariana. What Lucrazy wanted to do, was get Yenny to go to the police and tell them Cameela set up this gaslight of Pedro.

Anon- I don't think Tonio is looking for Mariana but for Cameela even though I heard in the advances something about him looking for Mariana. Maybe he wants to find her, not to hurt her but to tell her she is married to Pedro and spin yet another long lie to her.
 

Oh and thank you Carlos for the info about Tia Maria and El Viral. I do these without CC's and sometimes I miss something. Could it be Manuel? I am thinking there must have been something there. I am hoping they go to Fresno and they all meet up and then we'll know for sure.

Kelly agree with you about the Tia's. They have so much wisdom.

I laughed when Tia Patty threw old Tonio out of El Tal. He is back to that huge beltbuckle. I laughed too when Tonio found that teddy or whatever it was and he said so Dad is bringing ho's into the house. Too funny, if he only knew.

If I were to venture a guess about why Tonio is looking for Mariana it would be so that he could get her to go to the policia and have Pigorio put in jail for killing their child. That is one way that he could get control of everything. That is also the reason that Pigorio wants her dead so they cannot put him in jail.

Doris is playing a very dangerous game! She better watch her back.

Too bad Tonio didn't choke Elviral. I am getting very tired to her.

They keep throwing us bones about the relationship between Elviral and Tia Maria. Since they are dragging it out, it better be good.

R la O, dragging out the relationship between Elviral and Maria...in El Tal time we have only known about it for about 5 seconds, hee. But I'm with you, let's get some more info here!

Why do people work for the Negretes? All they get is nasty abuse. Surely the Negretes don't pay THAT well, do they?

Gosh, now the chase is on. I do NOT want to see Mariana tortured any more by Pigorio. Please telenovela gods, let Pedro find her first.

I'm ashamed to admit, but I kinda like Lucas. He's quite calm and looks nice and macho, despite his occupations.

Doris looked rather fetching today, talking with girlfriend.

I FF through all the teenage angst, so I may have missed something important.

Elvira was throwing it in Maria's face that she has never forgiven nor forgotten that Elvie took the man Maria loved away from her. In the end, she said, she probably did them both a favor seeing he was a bueno para nada (my words, not hers--I can't remember what she said about him). But as she said it, Dr. Bermudez appears on the screen (as Carlos noted).

So, we know that Esteban was probably not the guy Maria was in love with, so that opens the possibility that Elviral got pregnant by the "shared" lover and soon after married Esteban.

By the way, Carlos, I was poking around (as an example of how my mind works) after watching a Jorge Salinas movie--La Otra Familia, where he is paired up with Luis Roberto Guzman, wondering if RLG has been up to something else lately (after el Conde de Guevara in Alborada). Here is what he's doing and with whom....

Infames – new tn (2012), being shown now on Mexican TV. It is a political thriller. LRG plays Porfirio Cisneros. Vanessa Guzmán is his ally (Oh my, She of PERLA fame in Alaborada).

I wish they would bring it to US audiences soon.

I'm really enjoying Corazon Apasionada. It's galloping right along without benefit of too many horses. The repartee is great between Patricia and Armando (Guy's character). They all speak quite clearly, especially Dona Ursula (Susana Dosamantes character). Right now the funnest scenes are with Diego, the guapo handyman and Beatriz (or Imperatiriz), the bored trophy wife of Don Ignacio.

Remember, Don Ignacio couldn't accompany her to Europe and sent Diego along as her bodyguard, which she resents quite loudly (although fantasizing with him at the same time). Diego finds her spoiled and selfish, but is aware of her attractiveness.

Well as luck would have it, the private plane with just the two of them and a pilot develops engine trouble and they crash land on a---wait for it--deserted island. The pilot dies saving them. So now the tables are turned and she has to depend on him to survive. She hasn't quite accepted the reversal of roles, but we in viewerville have been getting plenty of shirtless, manly chest eye candy, played by Carlos Guillermo Haydon. Everyone else back home thinks they are lost and gone for ever and will probably stop looking for them--we have a mini-Lost story. They've already found a cabana with the skeleton of a marooned man lying in the straw bed.

Wow 1) thank you for the post on El. I see the story remains the same. I have to wonder if they are trying to change Tonio, since Pedro was such a bust? 2) I am taping Corazon and watch it on weekends. I have to ask why Talisman got the evening spot when Corazon and even the TN before it, Ni Contingo ni Sin Ti, were both far better than El Talisman. I wonder who makes those decisions. I wish they would move Corazon to the 8 p.m. slot. 3) I wonder what Pedro is going to do with Lucrazia, I wonder how she's going to stay at the ranch and why would Cameela take him back when he's so wimpy. 4) I do hope the inconstency of Pedro believing Luc over Cameela has come to an end, it just didn't make sense. 5) Let the solution to Mariana happen and then let her go back to the life she has now.

I look so forward to reading that blubberkisser (Pigorio)(I saw when Doris had to wipe her mouth after they kissed), and Lucrazia get theres. In a way I hope Mariana is the one to kick Pigorio's butt!!!

I hope they manage to get Gag thrown in jail for what he did to Mariana and the death of her baby. It's weird that Antonio didn't pursue that back when it happened. Maybe he wasn't into having the baby if it wouldn't get him El Tal, but he hates his father so much, why not take that opportunity. I remember back at the very beginning, he was still trying to earn his father's approval, which is why he was seeing Mariana and trying to get his hands on Tal in the first place, but I thought he was done with him by then.

Surely Pedro will find Mariana first, right? Margarito knows she is the daughter figure of the doctor he knows; it isn't like they don't have ways of getting in touch, and they're right there in the office...unless she wanders outside and the henchman snags her, AGAIN. At least now she's starting to remember things.
