Sergio does look very authentic in uniform, doesn't he?

I checked for pictures from other novelas de epoca but couldn't find any good ones. Brazil has a few that should have had great photos, but none appeared in my search.

A new thread I thought of for the future could be of the galas I see on Latele, which I don't think most of you get. There are two in particular I think you'd all appreciate.
 

That Geithner is a bit of all right. He's got kind of a Nic Cage thing goin' on.
 

Oh, wow, thanks UA. Really like Sergio Sendel in his uniform. He does rock the epulets. Really like Harry Geithner too. Pablo Montero wow too. I hope they do a period piece again someday. Those uniforms rock!

What I couldn't believe at the time was that Pablo gave up the chance to be in Amor Real to do Rebeca! I couldn't figure out why unless he wanted to hang out in Miami for a while or didn't want to lose the girl to Fernando Colunga again. But he would have looked fabulous in that uniform.

There are so many actors who have never done novelas de epoca and I have to wonder why.

Sergio seems to have a gift for looking good in a uniform. In LEV, he was even on horseback in a uniform. That was a double whammy.

And there was no photo of Sergio i the dress white uniform for the wedding that didn't happen. That was disappointing.

What do you think of having a gallery of honest doctors--Fabian Robles played Dr.Felipe in STuD. We need to find them in their white coats or their scrubs. We *might* be able to include Fernando Colunga in the same tn for saving Valentina's life sucking the snake venom from her leg and tying it up with his ripped off shirt, EH? Ernesto, of course, Dr. Bermudez from ENDA, Dr. Palacios from Sortie. There must be plenty of others, maybe not handsome or young, but honest.

Carlos would like this. Or, how about some nurses (fake or otherwise).

If I can find good photos would you also like a gallery of the great weddings? Years ago there was a clipfest program featuring the most gorgeous weddings of the season with the 1993 Corazon Salvaje as the big feature.

I just got an update sent to me on my Facebook page from "Telenovelas" that they had updated their cover photo, so I clicked on and there is Sylvia Navarro and a horse and a handsome guy who I am sure you all know. It's a picture for AMOR BRAVIO!!!!!!!! Do we know when it's starting? Vivi? Marta?

Yes, I added "telenovelas" on my Facebook under favorite tv shows. I also put CME on there, even though it's over, and if that isn't hanging on to the past, how about that I also put on Knot's Landing? lol Now THAT'S a show I'd buy the DVDs for, but they refuse to come out with them. Aaaaargh!

I think they do a terrible job on names. It's as if they have a list of about two dozen and just keep recycling them.
 

Or what about those series where there are too many names with the same initial? There were too many "A" names in Alborada. Very confusing.
 

We had Renata, Roberta and Regina in CME, but of course there had been a sale on "R" necklaces. And wasn't Gero's dead brother Rafael?
 

thanks UA! i absolutely die whenever I see sergio in that uniform from la esposa virgen. I remember there's a part en la entrada where Virginia is getting off the train, and sergio kind of gives her a sidelong look, makes me melt everytime! thought that TN had good music as well

jlk--I'm watching LEV right now on-line. You are so right. Sergio is always spit and polish; Jorge is a bit scruffy, despite being a doctorcito and the municipal president (and a robotrenes).

I meant rumpled--his clothes always look as though they are two sizes too big. But both he annd Sergio do sit well on a horse.

really anita?? so am I! I started watching them online sometime ago, but kind of lost interest & got busy. I started watching again because I wanted to see how it ended (well I kind of know already, but want to see it play out)

can believe I forgot about those clips with sergio in uniform on a horse , oh yes that also makes me melt!

Armando Araiza and Ricardo Margaleff were police in Llena de Amor. Mike Biaggio was a handsome policeman in Un Gancho al Corazón.
 

And those last two are in Amorcito right now! But not in uniform.
