Caray, Caray!

In order to keep the flow of this capitulo things are not in order. I wanted to keep the different parts together in order for it to flow better.

Het Het:

We are starting in Het Het tonight. The Lady has come about Luci's ceramics. She offers Luci an economic scholarship to go to school for her ceramics an artist's college, I think. Luci is very surprised. The Lady also wants Luci to work for them. The Lady gives Luci a magazine with pictures of different ceramics in it, with different artists and she asks Luci if she recognizes anything. Luci's ceramics are in this magazine! Luci is wondering how they got in this magazine as she never entered a contest for them. The Lady asks if she remembers the woman that traveled on the bus with her and Ariche, when Luci went to sell her ceramics in another town? (Ed Note: Remember when Don A basically shut down Luci in Het Het from selling her ceramics? She went to the next town over) Luci remembers Marcella the lady she met on the bus. Luci also remembers she left her box of ceramics on the street when Don A kidnapped her. Ariche remembers that when the police took him back to Het Het, after the kidnapping, Marcella picked up that box of ceramics. Evidently, Marcella got them to someone and they ended up on display in New York! Luci is flabbergasted, to say the least, and wants to know how she got credited with her ceramics? The lady says there was some type of note/paper with her name on them and that's how they knew they were Luci's and that's how they were credited. Luci is wowed by that. The Lady wants her to sign a contract with them for work, and Luci asks Ariche what he thinks. Ariche wants to see the contract. Ariche looks it over and says Acepto! We accept, lol.

The Lady has left and Luci is smiling. Magda and Paz have come back from shopping, (Ed Note: I am really loving Paz's shawl here, it is a wonderful shade of pink), Luci tells Paz and Magda she wants to go to the funeria to use the phone, she is worried. Magda says it's about the Lic. isn't it? She says yes, he wanted to talk to Rosa, and Luci wants to know how it went.

Ariche is at the funeria, which I will be calling Don Copio's, and is playing his flute when the Chisme Ladies come in and want to pump Ariche for info. Don C comes in and tells them to stop with the gossip,especially trying to get chisme out of a child, for goodness sake. The phone rings and Don C answers and its, wait for it, Pato. He wants to speak with Luci. Don C isn't sure who Pato is, but Ariche hears and takes the phone from Don C. Ariche calls Pato, Mushashon, and talks to him. Tells him he is happy to speak with him. Don C and the Chisme Ladies are listening in, but get no info other than the name Pato. Ariche hangs up and then goes, and the Chisme Ladies are trying to figure out who Pato is, one things it is Luci's husband, the other says, no it is Rodrigo, sigh! lol. For the sake of continuity I am adding that after Pato hangs up he tells Mati, who had been holding the phone, to put the cell phone by his good hand. He is expecting Luci to call him back. He tells Mati he is very happy to be talking to Ariche and to Luci when she calls back. The plan is Pato is going to be going on a trip close to Het Het, stopping by to see Luci and Mati is in on it. He makes her swear she will never tell anyone. She swears. He thanks her and tells her he loves her and she goes.

Luci is still at home and Paz wants to know if she is thinking of Claudio and Aurora. Paz tells her they were always wonderful people and with money too. Luci doesn't care about that. She is starting to tell Paz about the Lady that came to visit with the ceramics, but Ariche comes and tells her he talked to Mushashon, at first Luci thinks it was DEAD TO ME, but Ariche says no the other one in the chair, my friend. Luci says oh Pato, I hope everything is ok with him. Ariche tells her to come on, cause Pato is expecting her to call back. They go and Paz is wondering why Pato is calling and Magda says don't worry he is a nice boy and cares about her.

Luci and Ariche go to Don C's and the Chisme Ladies are still there. The Chisme Ladies pretend they want to use the phone too, but will wait until Luci is done. Don C tells them, he is sure Luci wants to speak in private, he grabs the Chisme Ladies' arms and physically escorts them out, lol. Don C comes back, just as the phone is ringing and Don C answers, it is Pato of course. He hands the phone to Luci and she talks to Pato. She wants to know how he is. He says he is fine, but is worried about her. Luci says little by little she is getting her life back. Pato tells her if she needs anything to let him know, you know money, anything at all. She thanks him and tells him she has everything she needs. Pato tells her that he will be close to her soon, traveling for the Foundation for underprivelged children, I think, and Luci tells him not to give up his therapy. He says there are two very important things in his life, his therapy and her. She smiles.

It is now nighttime in Het Het and Luci still hasn't heard from Claudio. She is very worried, about what went down with Claudio and Rosa. Magda says she hopes that Rosa ends up in la carcel (the jail). Paz says no, no, she doesn't want that. She just wanted the truth to be told. Luci informs Magda and Paz that Max perpertrated a fraud on Claudio and he spent twenty years in jail for it. They are both shocked!

Mexico City: The Cemetary:

We have now come to the confrontation between Rosa la Loca and Claudio. Rosa is staring down at Aurora's grave and Claudio sneaks up behind her, grabs her arm and tells her now is the time for the truth,and nothing but the truth. She gets the scared look on her face. Rosa says you want the truth? Claudio says yes, he wants the truth, he tells Rosa his daughter isn't dead, she is alive and , wait for it, she is Luciana! Claudio is very pithed, drops his cane, right on the ground, grabs some dirt from the grave, letting it slowly sift through his fingers and says Aurora may be dead, but Luciana is very much alive. Rosa in true scared out of her mind mode, admits that yes, Luciana is your hija. Claudio wants to know why Rosa lied? Rosa tells him that yes, the baby is Luci, Aurora died, he was in prison, what was she supposed to do with the baby? Claudio tells her that breaking her promise to Aurora was bad enough, to take care of the baby as her own, but what she did to Luci was far worse. Rosa tries to tell him that this is the cross she has had to bear all these years, as if, but Aurora was a liar too! Claudio is so not having that, and tells Rosa she better have something to back that up. Rosa says Aurora was my BFF, so beautiful, and wonderful, but in reality she was a damn liar! Claudio says that Rosa is the liar. Claudio says his wife Aurora was a wonderful woman, full of compassion and love, and went he was sent to prison, that's all he thought about and he couldn't wait to get out of the carcel to be with Aurora again. Rosa tries to tell him that Aurora had no compassion for anyone or anything. Claudio wants to know why Rosa hated Aurora so much? Rosa is now trying to tell Claudio that both of them were "victims" of Aurora. She saw Max and Aurora with her own eyes! Rosa goes on to say your dear departed wife and my husband were, wait for it, y'all already know where this is going, LOVERS!!! Claudio is shocked, and looks away to catch his breath.

We interrupted this confrontation with a song from the seventies called, Smiling Faces by the Undisputed Truth:

Now back to the confrontation. Claudio asks Rosa if she is sick? Rosa says she's not sick or crazy either and that Claudio just refuses to accept the truth. Rosa throws it in his face again about Max and Aurora being lovers. Claudio will not accept this, Aurora had intergirty and was a wonderful woman, Rosa says not so, she wasn't what you thought she was. Claudio says Rosa is lying. Claudio tells Rosa she is the bad woman. Rosa says oh, no she is good, protecting her children and her family. So Claudio says for this you gave baby Luci to Paz Jacinto? Rosa is shocked that he knows about that. Now Rosa is trying to put the blame for this on Paz. Claudio tells her not to go there, and the fault lies solely with Rosa. Now Rosa is refusing to look at Claudio, she won't meet his eyes and is swiveling her head this way and that to avoid looking at him. Claudio tells Rosa that Paz had lots of heart and as for Rosa he wants her to get it through her head that she HAS NO HEART! Rosa is going on and on now about her integrity, her generousity, blah, blah, and Claudio says she has none of these things, just look what she did to Luci! Now Rosa is playing her wait for it, are you ready, as if, her trump card that Luci isn't even his. (Y'all know she was going to go there!) Of course now Rosa lays it on him that Luci, in Rosa's playground of a mind, is in fact the daughter of Max and Aurora! Claudio is about to lose it. Claudio says oh, no, Luci is mine, I know it. He says Aurora was never a cheat. Rosa says no she was. She says she hates Luci so much because of this and she has suffered all these years, oh please, and she has had to put up with her real Papa Max. Claudio yells at Rosa to Basta! Claudio again says Aurora was nothing like Rosa is saying. He tells her to Basta again. Rosa says she had a perfect family and life until Aurora interferred with it. Claudio says oh, poor you Rosa.Claudio tells her she has no love for anyone, much less her kids, and she grabs his arms and tells Claudio to open his eyes, he grabs her arms right back and tells her she perpertrated this false death of his daughter to protect the Torreslandas, to keep him calm and for him to never find out, exactly what she did. Rosa turns it around on Claudio again and tells him the carcel turned him into an animal. Claudio says no, due to Max he spent 20 years in the prison and he suffered and thought of revenge. Claudio tells her, now the Torreslandas future in his hands and what he and Aurora had Rosa only wishes she did. He tells Rosa she was always ambitious and a traitor. Rosa tells Claudio he is going down a treacherous path here. Claudio tells Rosa she will now pay the consequences of all she did, the desecration of the grave,the lying about Luci being dead, desecrating another grave to move the bones into Aurora's casket, all of which is illegal. Rosa wants to know what kind of proof Claudio has, he's got nothing. Claudio tells her sure I do. He come the cemetary guys right behind Claudio, the administrator and the caretaker of the graves, Claudio asks her if that is enough proof for her? She is shocked and backs away from them. Rosa says she doesn't understand about these men, who are they? (Note to Rosa: You can't pretend anymore, the jig is up, jus' sayin'). Claudio introduces the administrator who was in charge of the exhumation order, and Claudio starts to introduce the caretaker of the graves, who takes over from Claudio and says, yeah I moved the bones of the baby from one grave to another and I didn't want to but you convinced me. Rosa tries to play if off like they don't know her. The administrator pipes up and says, sure I know you, you are Senora Torreslanda.HA!, and you told me to hold up the exhumation order, Rosa says you sure about that? The administrator says sure, you paid me! Rosa calls them cowards and turns to Claudio and says so this is your "proof"? Claudio says you don't recognize them? Rosa says she had nothing to do with them. Claudio says something about the kids, I think hers, and she tells Claudio you touch my kids, I'll kill you. Claudio tells Rosa she is culpable of these crimes and he has enough proof to send her to la carcel for many years and she is not innocent as he was. So Rosa says sending me to prison, will that satisify you? Claudio says no, cause Luci doesn't want to see you in la carcel. (Remember revenge is a dish best served cold). Claudio tells her, thanks to Luci she will not be going to la carcel. Well, Rosa doesn't want to hear that, oh, noes. Rosa would prefer prison than to be indebted to Luci. She can't deal with that. Claudio smiles as Rosa has the manicomio look in her eyes. Rosa is screaming at Claudio and he tells her oh, poor you, now you will have to live with yourself, your culpability, your wretchedness and all you have done, forever! The cemetary administrator bends down and picks up Claudio's cane and gives it back to him. All three men turn their backs on Rosa and walk away. Rosa is left there, she kneels down at Aurora's grave, starts shrieking and howling and throwing dirt on Aurora's grave, and shrieks damn you, I hate you Aurora, screaming and crying and flinging dirt all over the place.

Rosa has gone back home, no makeup, looking drained. Mati and Conny are with her. Mati wants to know why Rosa confronted Claudio alone? Rosa says it had to be done. Conny tells her to get some rest. Both Conny and Mati are concerned. Rosa says she wanted to clear her house of rancor and the ghost of Aurora and now Claudio knows that Luci is his daughter! Meantime Frigid is using the Frigid method behind the door and is shocked and gasping by what she has just heard!

Torreslandia Business:

Max, Oscar, Rod, Gabe and Marcos are all meeting about the Claudio "problem". They are preparing their defenses against anything Claudio is bringing. Rod says not only does Claudio want to ruin our business, he wants to ruin us personally! Max agrees. So Max has divied up the duties of each guy and what they will do. Legally they have to provide paperwork, but only stuff from before, like twenty years ago and only the minimum of info from that era. Gabe says, it makes sense and us guys, Marcos, Gabe and Rod are not responsible cause they were kids at the time. Max agrees and Gabe is put in charge of the economic status of the companies, Marcos will be working with Oscar on the legalities of the businesses. Max says now you all know what to do. Gabe and Marcos leave the meeting and Rod, Oscar and Max are now left in the meeting. Max wants the video of Claudio going to the bank and wants Oscar to get it. They need to do some damage control. Oscar and Max and Rod have been at this for awhile now and Rod is pithed that Claudio is making all of this stuff up to try and ruin them. Just about this time Max gets a text from Vicky who is at the love nest. Max replies and then tosses the phone. Rod wants to know if it was important. Max says not.

The Love Nest:

Vicky has made it to the love nest, and is looking around for Max, she even looks in the bathroom, no Max though. She finally sees the card where he tells her off. She starts to cry, looks around, takes the card and writes on the back to please forgive her and she loves him. Still crying she looks around again, gathers her purse and leaves.

Gagme Lair:

Julie gets a call from Gagme in Bogata, Columbia. Julie tells her she is having a dinner with Carolla and is making something. Gagme says oh your enjoying your life huh? Julie says yeah, you are never here always working! Julie wants to know when Gagme is returning. Gagme tells her there are meetings tonight and then tomorrow the proposals for the business. Gagme also wants to know if anyone has called for her. Julie wants to know and who would that be? Gagme says DEAD TO ME of course. Julie says DEAD TO ME hasn't called, nothing from him. Gagme says she has been in touch with Valentina and nothing. Gagme mentions something about a birthday and an anniversary and says she is putting Julie in charge of that. Julie says no worries, leave it in my capable hands. If anyone knows who's birthday it is and what anniversary, please comment.

Torreslandia Home:

Mati is feeding Pato and Pato asks Mati why his Mama is still so anxious even though Luci is gone now. Mati passes it off as Rosa being anxious after Pato's health and that Rosa is most concerned about him, as if. Pato thinks she is just sick.

Pato is alone now, surfing the internet and is looking up what MRI's can tell about the brain,( I have to say here, Pato is doing the same research as Vivi did yesterday:).). Pato sees it can tell if there is inflammation on the brain, an infection or a chronic illness, or tumors. Then he sees, wait for it, mental illness and how the brain is affected by feelings and nervousness! Oh noes, thinks Pato!
