If I were Luci I'd simply tell Rosa La Loca that we have nothing to say to each other. Not give her another opportunity to dish up her poison. The padre would use that cue to escort La Loca out of his office.

Rod needs to tell the security department to not permit Gala to enter the offices. She had some bloody nerve. I knew her sickness ploy was an act and I hope Rod drags her to the doctor ASAP.

Julie does have the potential to mastermind a murder or kidnapping although I doubt she'd get her own hands dirty.

I loved when you said about Rod and Luci, "....stares seem to suddenly only find each other in the whole universe." So true.
And Paz and Magda with the phone, how they, "...look at it as if it were a Mars rock." Well put.
I think Rosa has one of those psychiatric disorders only found on telenovelas. There are several that keep turning up but they don't meet the criteria of the DSM IV. I would describe Rosa's as "obsessive-venditive disorder."

 

Marta wonderful recap. I loved the scene with Gagme and Luci. Loved how Luci gave it back to Gagme with your husband is chasing me. That shut Gagme up. Gagme so sees now Luci is no domestica she can just kick around.

Hated how Gagme faked the "I don't feel good, due to the pregnancy". Rod will cave now, cause he wants that bebe to be born healthy.

I think la loca is bi-polar. The doctor said she might have a chemical imbalance in her brain and the rages come and go. Rosa and her constant if you aren't on my side you are my enemy. She has said this about Pato, Mati and now Conny. I think now Luci will be as strong as she was against Gagme with Rosa. She won't take her crap anymore.

Loved Magda and Paz with the phone. The ladies are not used to technology. I think Claudio should have explained to the phone company about that and should have had the tech explain to them how it worked, lol. It is a touch tone one they aren't used to.

Oh and Marta by the way Lorenzo's friend and fellow taco seller is Fabian not Javi. :).


 

The TN's are always blaming sheer orneriness on some chemical imbalance. Rosa is just meaner than cat dirt, as we used to say. So is Gala.
I kind of think Julie is bi-polar-those all night parties, and those expensive spending sprees.
 

It's funny how they had Rod kind of notice Pato's love for Luci-I wonder where they are going with that.
 

Oh I am so mad at Rod! He can't even see how wonderful his brother is--He dismissed the very idea that Luci could be interested him. Pato is the only male Torreslanda with integrity.

Will Rod every get it together?? I'm starting to not even pull for Luci/Rod anymore....

Marta--thanks for a great recap. I am excited to see what happens with RE. Perhaps with meds she gets to play a whole new character!
 

It would be great if Pato recovered and Luci fell in love with him. Rod deserves Gala. But I am afraid that Gala has it in her mind to kill Luciana and/or the baby and it will be Pato who will save their lives only to give his. The anvil is over both Luciana and Pato. Claudio is crazy for wanting his daughter to be near the wicked Gala, Rosa, Julie and Max.

I was thinking last night about the Gala/Gagme problem at the corporate headquarters. Gagme thinks that she can barge into any office and rant, rage and yell any time she feels like it. A simple call to security to have her barred from the building would put a stop to that muy pronto.

Thanks for the hilarious recap, Martha. Love that Dumb-ROD-BOBO alter name for Dead to me Rod. I also enjoyed the new telephone scene at Het Het with the a'mas.To Emarie, me too, I have always thought that RE is not crazy but just darn evil, or just what you said,"meaner than cat dirt". But then, thanks Vivi for yesterday's explanation of RE's crazy behavior. She really is in her own world of her own,-crazy,evil and surrealistic.Even Fr. Honesto's look on her tells everything.This woman needs to be institutionalized real quick!And Gagme, what with all this publications losing money, why can't her magazine go down!

Sure didn't take Rod long to step right back into Dumbassville. Getting jealous about Pato and Luci based solely on a couple of smiles in the boardroom and then a chat in Pato's office. He never learns. Of course we know he is right to be worried about the handsome Pato but not about true blue Luci.

Loved the Luci Gagme set down. Luci remains calm and dignified and miss high society rants and raves like a char woman. Class will always tell and Luci has it. I also loved Luci telling Rod to forget about her and be happy with his wife. - as if. For everyone who thought Rod and/or Luci should call security and have Gagme banned I so agree. i think i might have even been tempted to pick up the phone and call maintenance and tell them I want the garbage in my office removed.

Rod returns to Hell House to a pseudo sick Gagme. Think i called that a week ago. I guess having gotten his daily harangue from his fishwife he will finally have a little peace at home. I wonder how long Gagme will be able to keep up her I'm having such a rough pregnancy schtick. She seems to have the attention span of a gnat.

So Rosa likes the idea of being thought crazy. That gave me chills and rang the oh Lord what next bell in the Padre. If i were Luci i'd also tell Rosa we have nothing to say. I'm not interested in you or your son and as long as you keep away from me I won't go to the police about what you did. Adios Señora.

Really worried about Don A heading to the DF and getting a hotel near Infierno. I have the awful feeling he will start bugging Vi and may even follow her home and find out that she is Magda's daughter. I dislike the entire potential of that side story line.

That preview also seem to indicate that Rosa get a text about her cheating hubby. Vicki is making a huge mistake with that one because if Max doesn't rip her a new one Rosa will.
 

Many thanks Marta--had one eye on the show and one working on birthday gifts last night. No big major happenings, but this TN likes to slip in clues and statements from characters that turn out to be future plot lines. So I appreciate the detail so I could confirm what I thought I heard.

For one, maybe the writers are going to put Pato and Luci together after all...for awhile anyway. The musing by Rod was one of those clever clues---nah, she doesn't think of him that way...and bullseye, guess what will happen. I for one, would love to see Pato's smile welcoming me to work every day.

I agree with everyone that the simple solution to reigning in Gagme at the office is to not allow her in. They all wear ID badges, so when she comes in as visitor, she's stopped at the door. But Luci was awesome putting her down. She looked rather fetching behind that desk and was more at ease than I think she even realized. I'd say she has the makings of a future manager.

As for Gala's own business behavior, lord help us, if this was the US that woman would have one hefty harassment suit being served to her and potential publicity that could put her out of business. Why would anyone want to work there? Be fun to see them all quit en masse after one of her ravings.

As for Dumbass, ok he deserves it here, he feels her forehead and then buys that she isn't feeling well. First if that was perspiration from a real fever, she would be hot, not with t6tepid spritzed water on her forehead ( he can't tell the difference??) Second, hall her ass to the hospital immediately even if you have to carry her. If she refuses and makes excuses, alarm bells should start going off.

Color me disgusted at Padre. He is just another of Rosa's enablers. If he leaves Rosa alone with Luci and lets her spew her venom in a house of God, I give up on him. He's worthless.
 

Hi SuperMarta...thanks for another super recap starting with the title...had me laughing from the getgo.

Last night was fun with all the dithering with the new telephone...having been initially quite baffled with cellphones I could relate to the harried ladies of Het Het.

Roselena is upsetting me so much though, I can barely stand to watch her scenes. Credit the actress but I'd bypass all the psychological jargon and say that she is possessed by the Devil! The heck with a manicomio, let's have an exorcism. It would take a much tougher padre than poor befuddled Padre Honesto however.

I'm actually looking forward to Don Aquiles finding out he's a father. Perhaps that will be enough of a reality check for him to stop chasing women young enough to be his daughter...because one of them is.

I hope he never finds out if it is even true. He is just a pig and probably reeks of cheap cigars and even cheaper tequila - can you tell I hate the guy LOL.
In any event I seem to remember a conversation between the Gossip Girls saying that neither Paz nor Magda were from Het Het. They had just come with their babies. Someone mentioned Don A saying he had known Magda when she was young and hot. So my question is if Magda never told him and obviously never plans to why would she stay in Het Het when the truth could come out? If on the other hand she was from around there with the gossip that is rampant wouldn't someone know about her and Don A or question who was the Vi's father. It just doesn't add up to me. I suspect sooner or later we will find out because they are going to have to slip into some secondary stores while the pregnancies advance and Pato makes more progress.
 

Galas fake illness scene was so "Ferris Buellers Day Off" like. Guess she's gonna play that for all it's worth until she's busted or Rod puts himself out if his misery. I'm sure we'll see Mount Rod erupt when he finds out his man cave has become the nursery. Note to Gala: never, never, never take away your man's man cave.

Looks like Max is so busted with Vicky. He'll make up some song & dance that it was a one night stand & she won't leave me be, yada yada yada. Rosa will go confront Vicky and when she sees who it is, she'll threaten to have her fired if she doesn't leave Max alone. Think poor Vicky has dug herself into a hole she can't get herself out of.


 

Hi Decie Girl....yessssss, I can tell you hate the guy. However, (don't gag here) I think he's redeemable. He's got a long way to go, facing the consequences of his acts, which wouldn't just include having a daughter he knew nothing about, but would also include his shabby treatment of all the people in HetHet, both men and women--and frankly, he should also have the death of Gabino on his conscience. We're already seeing Procopio gain some confidence and negotiate from a positon of more strength with the guy. And Luciana has defied him. I think he's in for another drubbing and hopefully...finally...some introspection and some growth. But who knows? I haven't been watching telenovelas very long and I haven't got much of a success record predicting.

Yes the best scenes last night were the end of the refrito (Rod spilling his heart out to Luci), Luci and Gala then Gala and Rod in the TL offices... and Paz and Magda putting faces to the new gadget in the house... priceless!


 

Fabulous job Marta! I also enjoyed Rod-Luci, Luci-Gala, and Paz-Magda and the phone. LOL!

I also enjoyed seeing Pato and Luci together. Those two always light up around each other, and Pato was looking pretty hot in his suit last night. Yeah, Rod should be concerned. But since he is not a free man, with no real plans for getting free, maybe he should instead be encouraged by the idea of Luci moving on with Pato. Pato is the best man he knows, after all! Who better for her? What better stepdad for his kids? I know, I know. I'm just dreaming that Rod could be so selfless and jealousy-free.
 

If Rod were the thinking type, he would consider that having Pato around Luci to raise his child. Even if it makes him sick with jealousy, one more person to protect the kid from Rosa would be a good thing.

He'd also hire a nurse to watch Gala through this "illness" and get his butt to work.

But then if he WERE the thinking type, none of this mess would have been created in the first place and we wouldn't have a show.

Vivi, i totally agree that Rod should stop thinking of himself and his own feelings for a moment and realize that just like he considers Pato the best brother in the world, Pato would also be the best option and protector for Luci and father for his child, if he can't be it himself. At least Luci and the baby would have one more die hard protector on their side who would not become his enemy.
 

I really hope the writers are not going to package up and give us the Rod-Gala arguments/fights at the office and at the house on a 'every episode' basis. that will get really tiresone really quickly. Hopefully he will do as Kelly said, hire a nurse to care for Gala and just stay out of the apt as much as he can to avoid the nastyness... and as far as the offices, let Luci ban Gala's entry from the offices.
As far as he and Luci he needs to stop stepping in her way all the time and spend his time preventing Gala or his mother from harming Luci or the baby anymore. I am sure Claudio will take care of hiring security help for Luci AND for himself.
 

We don't call Rod the Dumbass for nothing. i can not understand why he continues to put Luci at risk from his loca mother and witch wife. The girl has told him it is over, he is married and with a child on the way and to please leave her alone. I guess like his mother he suffers from selective deafness. He refuses to hear what he doesn't want to hear. His constant chasing after her just reveals his basic selfishness. He loves her and lost her, wants her back punto. He still isn't thinking what is best for her. Looks like he still has a long way to really grow up and be worthy of her.

I really do feel sorry for Pato in this whole mess and wish someone worthy of him would show up and as much as I like the barrio girls I just don't see it. Luci like Claudio is a one love person and that will never be Pato. He can only get hurt or God forbid end up dead protecting her. We know that in all likelihood Luci and Rod end up together especially since the combo is wildly popular in Mexico so come on writers bring in a lovely girl for Pato and one who can be an ally with Luci against Forza Rosa.
