Qué Bonito Amor #116 (Mex 154) Tuesday 9/24/13 Time to face the music
Once the party ends Jorge is back in his cell and he is telling Mike how much he misses Mexico and Isa- he has a flashback to helping her with her homework. Am i the only one that hates the flashbacks? They have been using them a lot in the last few weeks.
While Mike and Jorge chat two officers come in and inform Jorge that he is going to be taken to the court house because his trial is about to start, they inform hi that he can change into the clothes his father brought him when he gets there.
Once in the court house the trial begins, Summers is being a jerk to Jorge and accuses him of feeling because he was a coward. Jorge jumps up and tells Summers not to insult him, at this point Summers acts like a big whinny baby and tells the judge that Jorge is out of line and that he expects to have Jorges bad behavior documented! The judge tells Summers to chill and to stop poking at the defendant. However Summers continues to be a poopy head and tells the court room that Jorge is a criminal that used his business to launder money, 10 million dollars in fact! And once he got caught he fled because he's a coward! So ladies, the two charges Jorge faces are money laundering and running from the law. The mariachis hear this and all jump up saying that Jorge is an honest and innocent man! The judge threatens to throw them all out if they don't keep quiet.
Summers questions why Jorge would leave the country if he was in fact innocent, Jorge explains that he left on the advice of his attorney who is actually the real criminal. He also says that his mother with tears in her eyes asked him to leave because she feared for his safety and that he in fact planned to return to the US to faces the charges against him. Summers mocks Santos and accuses him of using his mother as an excuse, this makes Coloso very angry and he jumps up and tells Summers that messing with someone's mother is no joke. The judge makes Coloso sit and Jorge has grabbed summers and looks like he's about to hit him, the judge makes everyone behave and Summers again bitches about how Jorge is treating him, the judge tells him that as a prosecutor he has rights but the defendant also has rights and that he is to leave him alone and call his first witness. First up, officer Derecho!
In other news the guys won the contest and are now 20k richer. Yay for them!
My apologies again for this shoddy recap, but I've had trouble sleeping for a few years now and am taking sleeping aids to help, normally I can wake up on time but not last night, last night I had the joy of having a nightmare in which I had a baby and the baby was a hot dog. Yes, you read that right!

I'll add more comments after the rest of your recap but I was choking back laughter at the idea that irasema's brothers would be in the same prison. My feeling is that they are successful businessmen and are now looking for the sister they treated so badly. They will help her and Susanito find a nice place to live and he can go to school to become a composer. Or else they will turn out to be members of the Redneck's white slave ring. In any event maybe we are going to get resolution of that red herring.
I too am warming up to Aaron and have dropped the Assron name as long as he continues to defy Vainessa.
Amelia weeping and bemoaning their fate YAWN. She has successfully turned Paloma into a mimi me and I fear the feisty Isa is headed the same way. Time for JAntos to get back and rescue the poor child.
Irasema's brothers have disowned her. Getting them back in her life is a miracle only Lohengrin -- Santos -- can perform at this point. Even if he is deported back to Mexico and can never return to the US he needs to be there for himself and for all the people he cares about.
Isabel will never be like Amalia. Once Santos and Maria get back she will be her same feisty self.
Aaron is turning out to be a decent kid, but he really needs to call Vainessa out on her crap.
It's too badm, but I have no feelings whatsoever for who or where Irasema's brothers are. They were mentioned once in her backstory and now they have come up again (and why would JA be asking SusieQ, anyway). I'm much more invested in who left Isa on Amalia's doorstep (I'm sounding repetitious, pardon me), and that one has been thrown out the window by the writers (or got blown away on the beach at NSDR).
I also have some comments relating to part 2. Interesting that we have two trials on two different tns by the same producer, one in Mexico and one in ElLay and how different they are from each other and the one in ElLay different from how trials are really conducted.
Decie, you and I are both thinking that Aaron has more to offer Paloma than Roddy, but this tn has invested a lot of screen time in crybaby Roddy to have him lose at love. He did look FINE in his mini-charro suit in the competition concert, though.
In last night's episode, I think the dog actually walked around the bed! So it is a real live dog.
Add me to the I hate flashbacks contingent. They are distracting but understandable in this case where they were obviously used to fill in the time while JS was unable to film. I'm sure we will have to endure more of them, when all the time all I want is for Karmageddon to wipe out oj, Redneck and Evile asap - and slowly so I cna enjoy it.
That twenty thou the mariachi's won isn't going to go far when everybody has to find places to live LOL.
Giuliano has a prison guard and now a prosecutor on his payroll; no reason to think he doesn't have a courtroom employee he's paying to rig a camera or two hidden by something in the room. That would be kid stuff to him by now.
As to the writers, I know that our Law & Order shows were shown in Mexico, so there is no excuse for these egregious misrepresentations of our justice system.
Still, flashbacks are annoying fillers, especially if you don't remember seeing them in the first place!
Goblue--We've known the dog was a living thing from the start, but he's not integral to the story. He just gets moved around and plopped down and stays there. There's been no loving interaction with the dog by the girls, no one takes him for a walk, hardly anyone talks to him--that's why he was called a stage prop. It's probably in Angelica's contract that the dog gets to be on the set with her. I wonder if he gets "extras" pay scale....haha.
Some how, Derecho and Curtis need to "get theirs", too. These bumbling fools just make me flat out angry. They do not deserve to come out smelling like a rose. I don't why they are getting under my skin today, but they are and I want them to pay for their stupidity and pay for how annoying they have been.
As for Amalia, couldn't we just get rid of her somehow?!
Fatima
Great guess. I saw the look on Mirna's face, but never connected it with Isa. But if Mirna had been around those few years back and knew Amalia, wouldn't she and other people know she was pregnant? Maybe she passed it off as having lost the baby--it is so common in tns.
Since Amalia didn't see him since Pedro's death until the midpoint of this story that's how nobody would have noticed Mirna being pregnant. Pobrecita de Isa if this is the case.
