Corazon Indomable, #105, 10/07/13 Poor Don Ale must be turning in his grave…

(Filling in for Vivi, who is away, enjoying her vacation)

Thanks God he’s already dead, he’d die a hundred more deaths if he witnessed the way his entire fortune is being wasted and what an idiot he has for a daughter.
"What have you done with all my money, Maricrazy?"

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves….

There is a big bad storm outside and Mari is scared– thank God the good people of Realengo have shelter on a night like this, unlike she when she lived with Abuelo and Solita in the hut. If only she could help more…

Tav is watching the rain, too, when Simona hugs him from the back – is she in the mood for some lovin’?
Apparently, she likes the storm, that’s when she feels more secure in her warm, comfortable home – hey, I feel the exact same way about storms, does that mean I am like Simona? She feels double happy today because she has Tav and his baby on the way – oh, I feel triple happy, because I have none of that…so I guess Simona and I aren’t quite the same, after all!
She hugs him again, while he looks like he has a death wish…you know, his usual face since becoming Mr. $imona. He also thinks to himself that she doesn’t care about the poor, she’s so unlike Mari.
He tells her that he wishes the sun came out faster, so the less fortunate suffered less – where was all this philanthropy when you had your own ranch, Tav?
Simona is bothered by his words, asks for an explanation, but he just leaves her standing by the window, alone.

Remember how we always complained that we have no clue about time passing because they never show us? Well, we should have kept our mouths shut…
…because here comes the WTF moment of the episode – a God-like voiceover lets us know that several months go by, while:
·    The 200 families that form the Rancho Narvaez Neighborhood (think the Smurf Village without the cute mushroom roofs) live in harmony in their little homes and spend their time picking/ juggling oranges
·    Mari’s Casinos are ALL in ruin because of bad management –  the Administrators took advantage of the fact that she was not around, the house in Mexico has been sold and she is almost penniless (I take back what I said before, THIS is the WTF moment of the episode) – Cada dia ay menos dinero – each day there is less money, the God-like voice lets us know
·    Up on his horse, Miguel is thinking about how he wants to return to his past glory, the man he once was (a terrible ranch owner and a gullible husband??) –he has a most fervent wish, to once again be the owner of his lost ranch
·    The people who didn’t want to leave the Realengo are about to be thrown out of the land
·    Simona and Esther are both still pregnant, waiting for their babies to be born
·    Octavio has mixed feelings that keep him as confused as ever (so NOT everything changes, after all)
·    Natasha manages to get Perico naked for her paintings
·    JackkAss becomes a tyrant – we see him and Esther (and her very fake belly) fight, but at least now they have a pretty house and a servant – that’s still something, right? Doesn’t he feel remorse for what he’s doing? Esther wants to know. Not at all! He screams at her, acting like the jerk he’s become.

And here is our Maricruz, who can’t believe that the Casinos, the house in the city and all her father’s life work, the fortune he’d saved for his lost daughter (in case someone forgot that small detail) is now gone. The accountant explains that a lot of money was spent and none was gained; he asks about the ranch, the lands, don’t they bring any profit? No, apparently not, Mari says….how about you go ask JA about that?
Miguel lost a lot of money with this ranch, Mari explains but she can’t understand why this is happening to her, too, because they’ve had a good harvest – the problem is that the land tenants don’t pay their bills, neither do the buyers of the crops apparently. And JA says that everyone keeps postponing. So she’ll have to talk to him fast! Ha!

Tav and Miguel meet on the fields, Miguel still hopes they’ll get their ranch back now that Mari is going to lose it all. Miguel knows JA is stealing money and the tenants don’t pay on time.  And nobody tells Mari anything, because this is a good business for all of them.
No, God can’t be that unjust to allow for Mari to become poor again, Tav worries, but Miguel urges him to be more concerned with his wife, who has been so generous with them.
Yeah, sure, she bought me, Tav points out, but she’s so unkind with everyone else, she has no mercy for the less fortunate, unlike Mari, who is now in so much trouble.
Miguel gleefully anticipates the moment when Mari will become poor again, but Tav swears that if that happens he will defend her. (yeaaaah, riiiight)

Mari talks with JA, he acts like a complete ass, smoking inside, putting his dirty boots on the furniture (ugh!). She tells him she’s ruined, they need to make the tenants pay, but JA explains that the debtors have problems, a lot of children and everybody knows she’s a merciful heart and won’t throw them out. She gave away a lot of money, houses, cows to people who never paid a dime and her tenants don’t like the situation too much and this is their answer – JackAss might be stealing, but he’s right about the Realengo people costing her too much money.

Miguel lets Simona know the savage one is about to lose everything because of JA. They’re both overjoyed! Soon Maricruz will have to leave and the rancho Narvaez will be theirs once again, that’s a promise! Simona says.

Mari goes to see her humanitarian project, the happy people with their tiny (I mean, really tiny) houses, playing with their oranges. It was all worth the trouble, Mari thinks, but what will become of them if she loses everything? (For the love of God, what will become of you, your daughter, your sister and your nephew?? And btw, where are they?)

The poorer she gets, the uglier she dresses, apparently (who said money can’t buy style?) –her pink mullet skirt is the worst so far.
But never mind that, here comes Tav, wanting to talk to her. Mari in on the verge of crying, can Tav reassure her that all she’s done wasn’t in vain? At least he was wrong about one thing: these people had it in them to lead a better life, to stop stealing. But what about the ones who didn’t leave the Realengo and are now about to be thrown out? She doesn’t have any more money, he should talk to the other ranchers, convince them to help.
No, that’s simply not possible, she’s the only good soul on these lands.
She’s afraid that God won’t take into consideration the good she’s doing (is she talking about the same God she disowned in front of the padre in the name of her justice?).
She’s really low-spirited, this urges Tav to console her – and might I add (AGAIN!) how right is their chemistry? And yet we have to lose so much time with stupid fights and repetitive dialogues…
Tav thinks she wanted to do too much, she acted on impulse, as she always does, trusting everyone – and he hugs her while saying that (a hug is nice, I guess, but this would be the right moment to tell her about JA, you dumbass!)

Talking about that prize, here he is with Natasha, who is painting him, too. And no, she won’t destroy Perico’s painting. Esther is jealous of her, JA says, but Natasha just laughs it off, while JA gives her a half creepy – half interested look.
They flirt a little, he hugs her (using some force, but what else is new with this guy?), presses her against a wall…She’s still resisting him some, seems to be taking it all as a game.

Tav does tell Mari that people are stealing from her (I’m really shocked he thought about it!), but she rejects his statement and says that she’s only losing money because she helped a lot of the Realengo folks.
Tav thinks no fortune is big enough for this kind of extravagant waste – despilfarro – (Now this is a word I didn’t know! Thank you, show!) Besides, she is also being robbed, mainly by JA (finally!)
She doesn’t believe him, though, JA lives better now because he has a good paycheck, he works a lot, etc… Tav tries to explain her that JA is MORE than just living better, but Mari has no ears for his accusations.

Simona pours some of her hatred for Mari into Ofelia’s understanding ears, all the while caressing her belly. (Just like Mari whispered venganza stories to Lupita ever since she was in her womb, now it’s Simona’s turn to do the same – Tav really knows how to pick them!) She can’t wait for the salvaje to leave, Tav is acting like a gentleman with her, but that’s not love. Hopefully, when the baby is born, he’ll feel more connected to her.
She’s seen him so many times watch through the window… at another window, far away, while thinking about that woman.
Ofelia tries to comfort her, saying she’s imagining things.

Back with the enamorados, Tav doesn’t understand Mari’s sudden coldness when just before she was so different – she blames the before on a moment of weakness, that sometimes happens around him – but she won’t become poor again, she won’t sell the ranch and she won’t leave the region! Cara de impotencia de Tav in front of so much stubbornness.
He thinks to himself how sorry he feels for her and the way she keep fighting against herself. He hugs her from behind, they both surrender into the embrace for a short moment, then she pulls away, just to lean the back of her head against his shoulder again. Nice moment of angst, could we have more of these, please?

It’s a new day, Mari is fixing her hair when she finds out Licenciado Morales wants to see her – in a few more days the people who are still left in the Realengo will be thrown out, can she accommodate them on her lands?

Natasha is telling her nana that she’s only taking advantage of JA to paint him, but the older (and wiser) woman warns her that she’s playing with fire. No worries, Natasha explains, as soon as her collection – Recuerdos de un ardiente verano (Memories from an ardent summer) – is over, they’ll be leaving for the capital. But not before she gets to paint the most difficult model of them all, Octavio Narvaez.

Miguel has a brief moment of self awareness, wondering how long he will be able to live on Simona’s back, not doing anything. Worked so far, right?
Anyway, he worries that he’s getting old. Women won’t want anything to do with him soon (as opposed to now??). His brother had all the luck with Simona, but if she were to die….

Mari explains to the lawyer that she can’t help the people anymore, she has no more money. This prompts him to propose a loan, but Mari rejects the idea (pfiu!). That must give him wings, though, because he makes a pass at her, even suggesting he could give her some money just for being a pretty woman – he obviously doesn’t know Maricruz Olivarez – better men have thrown money at her and failed.

JA and Esther have another round of fighting, this time about how Mari’s desprecio turned JA into a bitter disgusting (asqueroso) thief.
Then the conversation turns to Natasha, JA’s latest fling – Esther knows Natasha is only using him, while she sees exactly the kind of campesino he is. She herself is not happy, but she still loves him, though, so I guess that means she’s willing to live a miserable life with him.

Back with Mari and her indecent proposal lawyer, he says he wants a piece of her, so Mari nicely asks him to get out of her house.

Later with the accountant, she tells him Tav’s story about JA robbing her and how ludicrous that would be. The accountant thinks there might be some truth to Tav’s accusations, but Mari can’t believe this, because she knows Tav is only trying to hurt her. Just as the accountant is about to tell her something, she cuts him off, saying that she has to go.

Simona bought a bassinet (moises) for her baby, and for once she has a smile on her face. Miguel comes in and feigns to be fighting the urge to tell her some more bad news about Tav – is Miguel trying to hit on Simona or just bash Tav in front of her?
He keeps pretending that it’s very hard for him to talk about it, but Tav is taking advantage of her; Simona has to beg him to talk and finally Miguel says that Tav is very bored. Not precisely with her, but with the whole life he’s leading. And having Maricruz so close by doesn’t help either – oh, that fills Miguel with indignation, if only he could kill that woman… you know, for Simona’s sake.
This scares Simona, so Miguel fake-apologizes for his outburst, but he feels so bad for what she’s going through, he appreciates her so much… he gently hugs her, while a mischievous smile lights up his deceitful face … is he really trying to seduce Simona?

Mari comes to visit Esther at the new house, Esther takes advantage of the opportunity to show Mari just how good their life has become – how can Mari explain so much luxury in such a short time? The furniture belonged to Lucia, but they also have a brand new house and a fully equipped kitchen, when before they had no money.
Mari doesn’t understand the insinuations (ugh!) so Esther tells her point blank that JA has been stealing from her and is doing it now, too.
Mari can’t believe in Esther’s words, so Esther has to remind her how much JA has changed. No, no, Mari insists, Esther is only saying this because she’s jealous and she wants to create a wedge between them.
But Esther only wants to leave this house, go back to the Realengo, near her dead baby, and not witness everything that she has to witness everyday: her husband turning into a vicious man because of the dark feelings Mari aroused in him.
Mari thinks Esther is crazy, but Esther stresses on the fact that JA has no more friends and he will destroy her. Why doesn’t she talk with the tenants, to see if they’re paying their rent or not?

Thankfully, Mari finally listens, she goes to one of her tenants and asks him straight up why he hasn’t paid his rent.

That comment Miguel made about what if Simona were dead was kind of creepy. Could he be trying to insidiously fill her head with suspicions about Octavio and make her insanely jealous to the point that she commits suicide? Some of what he's telling her is true, of course, but he's really pouring it on, with his smirky, s$&#-eating grin. He's pretty loathsome at this point.

The photo of Don Alejandro and question were a perfect start for a wonderfully snarky recap. Thanks!

I rather enjoyed the narrator taking some time off the action.

So, I guess Maricruz has been asking where her money has been going for a good while before finally ending up with questioning tenants/business contacts directly and not going through JA. Big mistake. Her youth and inexperience are showing. She needs the prime directive: trust no one. (Except for the moonkey)

JA has turned out to be the worst and also so vain with getting his picture painted by Natasha. He should be questioning her technique because he really seems to need a bra in the picture she has painted. Maybe she
needs to use a darker flesh tone on his chest/boobs to flatten them out.

Also, what is it that whenever we have an artistic type in a novela they always have a rag/scarf wrapped around their head? Natasha and her ever present rag. Too funny. Another fashion note, I swear I saw Simona's wig being sold on the Q last week. Latest style! Lol.

All in all a very satisfying episode. I just wish Maricruz would smarten up soon and send obnoxious JA packing.

I hope swarmy Miiguel gets his before the end of this. He is so mean spirited and such a leech.

Adriana Noel, I don't watch this but you not only covered last night's debut but this as well? I'm in awe. I have nothing but the highest respect for recappers as it is but to do more than 1 recap in a night? Amazing.

Had to stop by to say how much I loved the pic of Cesar. He, is a busy man...As are you!

Diana

Diana, thank you, I just read your comment on Mentir, too :)

Taking care of both recaps was not that hard this time, because I prepared them over the weekend (watching on line and having the episodes available); with CI I'm actually filling in for Vivi, who is away, my usual day for recapping is every other Tuesday... and yes, this Tuesday is mine, too, so there will be another recap coming up from me by the end of this day or early tomorrow morning.
I have no idea how that happened, but whatever it takes to improve my English (I'm not a native speaker)

Fabulous recap, Adriana. Glad to see that you survived it. And now you know why I remembered this episode so well 11 weeks after I first saw it. The narration was utterly ridiculous. I should note that in previous versions the MC character was NOT as fabulously or enormously wealth as the monkey writers kept telling us she was here on C.I. - in La Venganza she just owned a hotel (with gambling allowed); in Marimar it was one private real estate development (with gambling in the private club house). They didn't constantly ram into our heads that she had multiple casinos and multiple other businesses, nor did we ever see spectaculat mansions like the one Don Ale had. The end result of telling us all this in C.I. was just MC look just that much more stupid for losing it ALL in a matter of months - Simona and Esther were already pregnant prior to the narration and they are still pregnant now, so at most only about six months went by for her to lose her supposedly massive fortune. ugh

Great Work.

There is such a huge gap in logic here. Are we to start believing that love makes people stupid? Maricruz has lost more brain cells than Octavio ever had in the first place.

I fear for her child.

Does anyone realize that Eusebio was Solita's rapist? If not, creating a twin brother for him had to be how they will know.

Latina, you were right, they really wanted us to understand how rich MC was, just to have her lose everything in a few months because:

- all of a sudden all the casinos tanked due to corrupt administrators
- they had to sell the big mansion in the city (where is the money from the house, did JA take "care" of it, too, or have they built 3 more smurf houses for the Realengo people with it?)
- the tenants aren't paying their rent
- the buyers of the crops (the oranges??) haven't payed their bills, either
- MC spent too much money on her charity cases

So unbelievably stupid...

Thanks Adriana, this was the height of ridiculous that she lost all that money in 6 months time, so is Raisa and Tony cheating her too? What happened to the girl who could look at the casino books and figure out what was going on, but can't do that with the ranch books and then lose so much money from everything so quickly? Latina, will this get even stupider than this? Actually, don't answer that, it may alter my desire to watch if I know.

for me it's a real mystery. I don't see anything on what she could spend so much. That little houses? I dont think so. JA robbed her? He should be a millionaire, but no. The church and school? Mystery. And I want to add, that in Marimar she stoll has her house in tha capital. But here she lost it. And where is Tobias?
And I realy cant understand, why she is sooo blind now. Something in the water?
But anyway. This show ended on sunday in Mexico and I think I miss it. So I'm glad that I can discuss it once again with all of you.
Alegria

Cathyx, I might be wrong, but hasn't she sold the Isla Dorada Casino? So that would mean that one is no longer part of her patrimony, anyway... I don't know, none of this makes any sense, whatsoever.

Alegria, I wondered about poor Tobias, too.
Also, I think Lupita is older by now, maybe we get to see her one of these days.

Thanks for the great recap!

I can't take this show anymore, just one misery or cruelty after the next. Miguel, Simona and JackAss are vindictive and cruel, MA too trusting and way over her head, and when Tav looks like the smart, strong person of the group, you know there is trouble.

At this point, no happy ending to this show will make up for the amount of misery we as viewers have had to endure watching day in and out. The problem with this show is that there is not enough good to balance out the bad so every episode is a downer. I really need something bad to happen to one of the baddies or something good to happen to one of the goodies!

Well done Adriana and the picture of Don Ale and the pivotal question were a perfect way to start this recap.

You captured everything perfectly including our yearning to just see Maricruz drop her guard and surrender to Octavio's kisses and embraces.

Miguel and Simona are certainly taking rapid leaps into utter loathsomeness. And I'm quite weary of Ester's nagging and José Antonio's bad behavior. Odd that he's going out of his way to show Maricruz disrespect and she still refuses to believe he's banking the tenant payments instead of giving them to her.

Strange twists and turns to this story. And I think baby Lupita is suffering from "failure to thrive" syndrome. She has grown so little over this very long passage of time.

You, on the other hand, are doing great, Adriana. You write so fluently in English, but knocking out three complete recaps in a few days earns you the Medal of Honor m'dear.

This is such an excellent recap, Adriana Noel. Thanks.

So, I wonder what Maricruz is doing all day that is distracting her from this financial calamity? We know it isn't childcare or ranch work. And are we to believe that José Antonio, a semi-literate boob, is now a criminal mastermind? Por favor.

Carlos

Losing property & businesses does take legal action & a lot of time I guess explained by the voiceover, but MC got no legal documents from the courts advising her, oh, forgot, Mejia. Guess Tobias ran screaming from this novela. And Don Alejando, alive, but not well, is over at Tempestad seeing ghosts.

Since when do people chg so completely, JAss was a nice guy in the beginning, we all liked him, but now he is terrible, a thief. Ester was in cahoots with Lucia & now she is turning out to be decent. Miguel was led by the nose by Lucia & now he is really going to the dark side. $imona seemed a decent person & now she is full of vengeance & hate for MC & the poor???
Damn, Oct is the only one we can really count on to continue in a 1/2 cell haze.

Thank you Adriana Noel---you are doing a lot and also a great job so thank you again.

Vida2---I liked your late post from yesterday. I agree with you. Everyone is down on Mari but not me, I guess that we are the only two left in Mari's camp. I too hope that she recovers some of the money that JA stole from her.

Carlos---You made a comment about Miguel wanting the kids shot for stealing. I gave my thoughts about that in my very late post yesterday.

Barbara---I commented on your comment yesterday also, in my late post.

And in that late post, I gave three reasons why Ester would tell Mari the truth about her husband. I guess that I was right on one of those reasons.

My friend in Mexico said that the storyline would get ridiculous near the end, I guess that we are starting to reach that phase now.

For a murderer on the run, Miguel seems to have not a care in the world, he's living/riding high. Doesn't the Sherrif know that he's back in town by now? And where is Twinsebio? Isn't it about time for
cold hearted Miguel's assination?

Mari has been told about JA stealing from her, she can't believe it. I can understand how se feels. I mean, she looks upon him almost as a brother, she just cant believe that he would do that to her, those people must be lying to me about JA. She's going to be hurt deeply when she finally comes face to face with the truth.

One last thing---I am not down on this show in any way shape or form.
This "IS NOT" going to be---El Sol
No Regresa. I have faith.

Late to the party--been a hectic day already, but a badly needed lunch break and a recap was just what the doc ordered.

I'll just echo everyone else on the WTH? narration last night. My one big question was immediately if the mansion was sold...where did Tobias and that entire staff go? hello, people lost their jobs who worked faithfully for her father and they don't get moved to the ranch...nothing?? And I guess any future lessons for Solita have gone down the tubes as well.

And how does JA "steal" from her? Does he have a power or attorney or something that I may have missed along the road? Or is MC really that bad of a money manager...guess those quick lessons back in the day weren't as good as daddy thought. So much for her natural business instinct.

The loose ends and implications are starting to make me frustrated. I can take some sloppy writing, but this is crazy.

And Miguel now turning into an "old" letch...that's a good one. Frankly, if he moves in on Simona, I don't his bro' would be all that worked up. At this point, those two deserve each other.

daisynjay
Apparently JAss is collecting rents & putting them in his pocket. Not too smart or sophisticated. He's probably doing other stuff too.

Adriana Noel - Throughly enjoyed this recap. I never would have guessed English is not your first language. You write really well.

I'm with you Gringo, I hope Twinsebio makes another appearance to permanently knock Miguel off his high horse.

Miguel putting the make on his pregnant SIL was beyond disgusting. I guess he's hoping to poison Simona against Tav so he can step in.

thanks, Adriana Noel, for going above and beyond the call of duty. Your writing is great., and it is hard to believe that English is your second language. Wow. I have a student in my class this semester from Rumania. English is her third language. She speaks Spanish and likes the Mexican telenovelas. My Mexican student does not like them.

Miguel is certainly not wasting any time mourning Lucia. Pity that he was not free to marry Simona himself and cut out Oblivio as the middle man between him and Simona's wallet. Where is Miguel's son ? Does he live at Simona's? We never see him, and we never see Miguel spending any time with him. What a lazy slug. Bleeccchhh.

This novela is very frustrating . the storyline makes no sense , and so many characters are unlikeable. I only surf in and out.

As to Jackass's descent into darkness, perhaps he fell out of one of those orange trees when he finally decided to harvest that crop and hit his head on a rock. These folks are all too dumb and damaged to live. I hope that Solita makes a love connection with PinataGuy , and they take namelessbaby and go to find Tobias.

Also, will we ever find out what happened to all those characters they introduced us to on the island or are they just lost in the mist of illogical writing ?

I miss SHUTUPDORIS!!!

Now that Miguel is boldly out and about, I'm assuming that Nazario's statement coupled with testimony from Ofelia were sufficient to exonerate him for the shooting of Eusebio. I guess it's one of those matters, like Maricruz actually giving a darn about her daughter, that we must take on faith. I wonder if anyone else noticed during the party the contrast in the way that Maricruz was toting Lupita like a sack of potatoes and Solita was holding Boywithnoname like an actual human infant?

Carlos

"I wonder if anyone else noticed during the party the contrast in the way that Maricruz was toting Lupita like a sack of potatoes and Solita was holding Boywithnoname like an actual human infant?"

Oh, Carlos, this has driven me crazy all along. Any wonder why that little angel brightens up as soon as she sees Tav/Daniel? Sometimes the only reason I find myself hoping Tav and MC get back together is so that poor girl will have a parent who maybe will spend more than the requisite hour a day and actually PLAY with her, read a book, do something. But then, one does run the risk of mussing perfect hair and makeup when you want to look fetching for your vengeance.

And at this point, Miguel can go the way of Lucia and Miguelito, who seems to prefer his uncle as well, can go live with him too.

If we've had the time jump, I would expect that we will see all new kiddies, if they ever show them again. By now Miguelito should be running around and both NoName and Lupita should be possibly walking, at least sitting up. probably why we don't see them...they've moved past the easy prop stage.

Both your recaps were excellent, Adriana. I had the tv on during this episode, but was busy cooking and didn't get to really focus on it. Maybe that's a good thing.

I want to cheer for MC, but it's hard when she lets things slide away from her. Where is that sharp business mind that turned the casino around? I guess all vengeance and no business makes MariCruz a poor girl.

Hey!!! Little Lupita in love with her mom. She liked the way her mama behave with her.
Look at this fotos. She is obviously happy child

Thanks for the great recap!

I hope Maricruz wakes up and takes charge of her businesses. It's so pathetic that she's lost so much money in such a short time. She can't possibly think she's actually spent it all on even a few hundred of those silly-looking Crackerjack box "houses". Five hundred of those, even with the community buildings thrown in, wouldn't equal the value of Alejandro's big city estate.

Disappointed that Natrasha succeeded in getting Perico to pose nekkid for her. Did she say his below-the-belt assets turned out to... not need so much paint? Klassy, that one.

Thank you, Adriana, and ditto for the great recap you did over there on Marido.

I don't much like what's happening to Maricruz. I like her strong and in control. Now I suppose Tav will have to rescue her. I don't want to see her living in a hut again, unless there's gold under it.

I am so glad that I jumped ship on this one. (I relapsed and watched an episode last week, but that was the only one in about a month for me.)

In fact now I'm grateful to the showrunners for the absurd personality makeovers and chronic amnesia of their characters. I'm positively thankful for all the frustrating absurdities and senseless repetitive scenarios (Maricruz relents and kisses Octavio, Maricruz swears vengeance against the Narvaez family, rinse and repeat) that drove me away. Why? Because if I was still watching this regularly and caring about the story and the characters I would be tearing my hair out in frustration at this point. I would be screaming angry.

I'll extend much more whole-hearted and sincere thanks to the recappers, and especially Adriana, for suffering through these horrors of storytelling so that those of us who want to can observe at a safe distance.

Adriana Noel, Thanks for a great recap. I was just wondering where do watch them online in advance. I would like to do that with this one so I can also see the new one Mentir para vivir. I LOVE this site!!!

Bluejean

Thanks, Adriana. Well done.
Thanks Gringo, Like you said and As I read the daily blog, I see only you who defends MC.
I think all Hispanic Telenovelas are made to frustrate the viewers. I am watching Don Ale's earlier Telenovela-Entre El Amor y Odio and I feel the same frustrations as the current Telenovelas such as Refugio de Un Amor and the others.
Unfortunately, I don't or have never watched a US soap except Downtown Abbey which is from UK and I think categorized as a series(?) and the series =Revenge both I like very much.
So I can not compare them. My first telenovela was Teresa which I liked very much because she reminded me of Scarlet o'Hara. And I was hooked since then.
Most of all I enjoy watching these telenovelas because I enjoy reading Caray Caray Blog. I read all of them. I have mentioned it in the very beginning of my contrubutions that I am amazed at the Recappers and bloggers as well. They are all good writers and should write novelas. That's all I can say. Thank you all.
