Corazon Indomable, #106, Tuesday, 10-08-13 Tav might be the dashing hero, but Mari's dimples are more powerful
Fair warning: this is going to be a short recap, because this episode has been all over the place
Labels: Indomable
Adriana - I agree on your assessment about Daniel Arenas - he looked HOT in those black clothes. As for your comment about Lupita being "almost two", don't forget this is Mrs. Mejia we are dealing with here. No way of knowing what Lupita's age is now.
So I'm thinking Simona loses the baby, blames Tav and MC and throws him out. I would love to see her throw out Miguel too.
I keep hoping JackAss's horse throws him into a pit of quicksand!
I hope the money situation sorts itself out soon bec this storyline is depressing. What in the world will MC do when all her money is gone? Will she marry the next rich man that goes after her, like Tav did with Simona?
Thanks.
Funny how Simona and Esther are in the same boat: they both pushed marriages with men who they knew were in love with Maricruz and not them and then went on to get pregnant by those men. Esther lost her first child. Will that happen to Simona? They weren't very smart. Hard to listen to them complain when they both knew what the story was with these guys.
Miguel would have been good as a revolutionary or a leader of a mob with pitch forks and pikes.
This story has turned into an over the top melodrama so I am just going to sit back, enjoy what I can and not think too hard. I fear we will never see Tobias or some of the old faves again. Maricruz and the plot have simply moved on. In the end I hope she has a happy ending with Octavio.

I mourn the disappearance of Tobias. He might have been so useful at the ranch, helping MC handle her affairs and the people. He could have shown JA just how far he was from being a gentleman.
If the house in DF is gone, what happened to Tobias? Has he retired to some coastal resort? Is he working for someone else? Is he drinking away the days at a local bar? Has he opened a haberdashery? I suppose we'll never know. I'm sure Solita really misses him.
And Morales! Yet another man falls prey to MC--not her dimples, this time, but her beautiful eyes. She continues to mow down the male population, wherever she is.
I guess we're riding the merry-go-round (or MariCruz-goes-round) of random events now--just circle around and see what comes up with each rotation (episode).
I don't know if it was his little bravery or just teh black shirt that made him so attractive, but now I wouldn't mind seeing DA in a new, more manly - take no prisoners part.
Maybe in his next tn, though, because this one is fast losing all common sense.
Carvivlie, I think Mari's problems are only now beginning - Morales was talking about gold being gound on her lands, too, that woudl mean she has to leave, therefor lose the ranch, too.
La Paloma, I had to add a subtitle to the recap, giving you credit for thinking of the Realengo Rebellion - that was truly funny and quite accurate.
Sometimes it does take a village to make some sense out of this show, doesn't it?

54 episodes? I can't even imagine where this whole story-line can go. I know there are supposed to be some new characters (heaven help us). Now I find myself watching just to see how crazy this plot can go. I'm sure not enjoying the actual story much anymore.
Daniel should always wear black shirts..or no shirts, but hey we can't be picky. I'll go with black. And MC toning down the vengeance seems to be more palatable, though seems her brain cells aren't firing too fast anymore. I swear it has to be that water down there.
As looney as Simona has gotten, I don't wish anything bad with the baby, maybe she just gets knocked cold and we don't have to listen to her whining for 52 episodes. (Figure she has to go away somehow for the love birds to get back together permanently).
Miguel needs to get hit by a bus. Now.
Jose would have made a good villain character if this had been more consistent thru the story. It just plays out far-fetched. Love how they show how some learning suddenly makes these people experts on how to deal with finances and "vengeance". Lose MC on her quest...gain JA. He can line up behind Miguel on the bus route.
I reallllllyyyyy miss the Isla people. Heaven help me, I could even take Doris right now. And can't Tav's bestie and his wife come down for a visit?
Since we haven't seen a Moctavio exit, I'm guessing he was one smart monkey and took a powder from this group.
Daisynjay
It's the first time I hear the word, I had to look it up - but it makes total sense that Tobias would start such a business.
How about the other absent characters?
I think Ed & Araceli opened an Academy for well mannered ladies - Araceli is teaching them how to trap a husband before actually going on a real date (because we all remember that going to the movies AT NIGHT is very inappropriate)/ and Ed is teaching them all about having that slick, perfectly stiff hair that only he knows how to mentain
Teobaldo opened Doppelganger & Sons - offering high quality services for customers in need of fast makeovers - his best clients: people desiring to exact revenge on the ones who've harmed them in the past
Doris has her own sitcom, called The Governor's daughter (obviously) - the show depicts a young, vibrant girl, trying to juggle her coplicated love life and the incestuos relationship she has with her brother, Andres - the Hallmark channel has expressed interest in picking up the show for a billion seasons
The Givernor is now the President of Isla Dorada and he's married with a woman young enough to be his daughter's daughter
Karim was planning to go to Tamaulipas and kidnap Maricruz, but he heard of the great Realengo Rebellion and now he's afraid for his life - he might have to just settle with the 5 wives he already has.
What else? What do you think happened with teh likes of Carola, Raiza, Tony...
Sounds like we are in a chaotic, depressing phase of this strange story. But I like your alternative tales for our other missing characters, Adriana. And I salute you ("chapeau!") for whipping out 3 excellent recaps in as many days. Just outstanding. And in your second language. Truly amazing.
Carvivlie - I was thinking it would come to who do we save - baby or mother? In order for Tav and MC to end up together Simona has to be out of the picture. As for Miguel, I'm hoping Twinsebio will take care of him.
Then Tav and MC could end up with the biggest rancho in the area.
Thanks again Adriana for another great recap.
And I vote for Raiza and Tony putting there heads together and walking away with the casino dollars after getting the shaft first from her sister and the MC bailing on the business. I wish nothing but the best for her--she deserved something.
Two probably made Karim enormously wealthy again and they both are living the high life surrounded by harems. Seems you are better off NOT getting pulled into the air around out dear little heroine. She seems to bring out the worst in people.
The story is moving along and new problems are developing. Looks like
Maricruz is starting to realize that JA is not the trusted friend that she thinks he is. I hope that she sends him packing but not before she recovers the money that he stole from her.
Will Maricruz loose the ranch now that there is gold on it? I hope not. How would she be able to keep it, this could get interesting.
So Mari has a new admirer. Of course she does.
La Paloma---She continues to mow down the male population, wherever she is. Do you honestly think that Lucia, Ester or $imona could? There're not goddesses.
WOW! haberdashery? I had to look that one up. I have heard the word before but sure didn't know the meaning. That was a good one.
Adriana Noel---Your absent character section was a riot. I really liked the Doris sitcom and the one on Karim.
So $imona takes a fall. If she looses the baby, there will be hell to pay. I can't wait for tonight. Unlike most of you, I love this show. What will happen to JA tonight now that Mari is on to him? I'll say it twice, I can't wait.
Carlos---A couple of nights ago you thought it was ridiculous that Miguel wanted the children shot, I didn't think so. Miguel is not your friendly rancher. He has a friendly appearance on the outside but a black heart on the inside. Yes, he would shoot the children or have them shot, there's no question in my mind about it. You saw how pleased both he and $imona were last night when they learned that the people of Realengo had their food and water cut off. OPEN YOUR EYES Carlos, this guy is evil.
Miguel and $imona deserve each other.
Lupita, Lupita, Lupita, we cant have a day go by without whining and complaining about Maricruz and Lupita. Mari doesn't love her--Mari should spend more time with her--Mari doesn't feed her--Mari doesn't change her diapers--Mari doesn't hold her properly, I wonder what's next? This novella is not "Mari and Lupita" or the "Ninos Hour" PLEASE!!! Give Mari a break. You guys are still yelling about Mari's vengeance and there hasn't been any for some time now. Are we watching the same novela?

I have to admit that I really enjoyed last night's episode. I was all set to join Octavio's Rangers. He's been such a wastrel up until now. Good job!
gringo, thanks for cluing me in on Miguel's dark side. Gee, who knew?
Carlos

Now he is the antithesis of guilt. He is thinking how great it would be if Simona dies and Tav can get all of her money, he wants to shoot children for stealing....he is way darker than what he was through most of this show.
"Nothing will happen with Simona, she’ll be fine, but there is nothing more that they can do. So, how about some tequila?"
How can one possibly hate on a guy with such clearly defined priorities?
Carlos
I think he looks way better in photo #2

Carlos---Nothing more that we can do. So, how about some tequila? I liked that line too.
the gringo
It's funny how we analyze these characters to try to explain why someone does what they do as if they were real people, and not some drivel an out of touch writer comes up with. There is no predicting or explaining the behavior or the motives of a bad writer's make believe characters. It's as simple as that.
"There is no predicting or explaining the behavior or the motives of a bad writer's make believe characters. It's as simple as that."
Exactly...
Carlos
Variopinta, I like number 2, too. I think I really need to see him in another tn, there is such a huge difference between photo 2 and photo 3, it's like they're different men.

I agree that that black is his color.
Also bring me back at least 1 good male like Tobias or Don Ale. Maybe, Parrot might be good this time for Solita and not be like the odious JA.
Well at least for this episode, Octavio seems to be a true humanitarian activist. Good for him because MC might reconsider and forget her venganza plan meant for him.
And lastly, there goes the evil sadistic writer seemingly sending us signs about the impending seizure of MC's ranch and no mention of the same for the Simona ranch.Uggh.
Now why would a too pregnant woman ride a horse unless she wants her baby soon?
