La Tempestad Capitulo 73 , Wed 11/06/13 - Hernan is the man with the plan, but do they ever work?

Ernesto wants Hernan to prove his loyalty to him by kidnapping his hijo and bringing the bebé to Ernie ASAP. Hernan vows he never betrayed Ernie and if Ernie says frog then Hernan will jump.
DamLoyal is damglad that Marina believes him. Hugs. He wants her on his DamManlyChest and to be a family that will never be separated.
Jose helps battered Becky onto her bed. He tells Ms. CabezaDura he’s tired of her little jokes that always make fun of his feelings. He says he’ll be sure to let her boyfriend Oso know she’s been hurt. Becky wants to run after Jose but her ankle hurts, her head is pounding and she aches all over.
DamSweet and Marina enjoy the warm evening breeze in R-LayDee and agree it’s impossible for them to stay away from each other. He says they will prove to the world that their love is like the sea, infinite and eternal.
Ernie tells Nereo that the meeting went exactly as he’d hoped, with both Hernan and Fully putting up false fronts. He’ll get his vengeance against them both, but each in their time. He wanted to trust Fully but he’s too ambitious. For now it’s business as usual so the hypocrites don’t distrust him.
DamLastStraw gripes to Claudio about Pester overmedicating his bebé to make him sleep. Such irresponsibility! Claudio refers DamPithed to his lawyer and says Dam will eventually get custody.
Bea moves a finger! She’s happy but wisely knows not to tell anyone in order to save Marina from the monster Hernan.
The monster has disappointed me. He does not look like a popsicle or reef fish today. Hernan has tracked down Mercy to torture her some more about losing the empacadora. He just can’t understand why she doesn’t trust him. She says she’s not the kind of woman to wallow in lamentaciones (really Mercy, since when?), so let’s sign the papers already. He thought bubbles that Marina “will be mine all mine.”
Ursula tells Hernan that Jose ruined “mis planes” and rescued Rebecca. Herny tells her to shut her pie hole, they have a bigger problem to worry about and its name is Ernesto Contreras, back from the dead to claim his empire. Ernie SAID Hernan would be his successor but Hernie knows better than anyone that Ernesto is a damn liar.
R-LayDee of the Persistent Skanks - If it’s not Pester walking the streets for Dam, it’s Skanky Abigail trolling for Lazaro. She finds him and they have the same conversation that they always have. Tu vas a ser mio she thought bubbles, giving Laz a FATS (Face Attack Telenovela Style, thank you Novela Maven) just in time for, wait for it...Lucia to see. Even though Lu sees Laz push Abiskank away she still gets pithed. And now she knows who her enemy is.
NosyRosy finds Abi stuffing her face and wants to start operation Separate LazLu posthaste. Abi thinks Laz might be too hard of a nut to crack. “Not with my full support” sneers Mami Beyotch. They plan to meet the next day.
Pester gives Hernan the Michelito update. Dam caught her overmedicating the bebé and has taken control. Hernan assures her that Dam is not going to be able to hold onto that baby. He has a plan but it’s better that Pester not know what it is.
The next morning a tribe of young boys spy our Capi and tussle with him. He’s so DamGood with kids. They want to be explorers so he shows them how to use a compass (brújula). I sure wish he’d use the brújula on his manly chest, but that probably wouldn’t be appropriate for the kiddies.
Later on the kids are in the country, hear Zully’s phone and find it. One of the kids spies disturbed earth, Zully’s grave, but he doesn’t know what it is.
Hernan is back with the my-clothes-are-as-crazy-as-I theme. Now he’s dressed as a watermelon turbo rocket popsicle. He needs Ursula’s help, he grabs a gun and orders a very nervous Marcelino to join them. Ruh Roh.
OK, this does not look good. Hernan and Ursula are out in the country having target practice. Marcelino is setting up the bottles. Ursula is wondering if Hernan is pithed at her for failing to crush Becky’s skull. Ursully is nervous. Marcelino is nervous. Marcelino is wondering if Hernan is going to kill Ursully too. Not yet, Ursully shoots and she is pretty darn good.
Hernan shoots every bottle on his turn. Marcelino sets up more. Hurry Marcelino and get out of the way! Ursully gets kind of turned on my Hernan’s shooting prowess. Hernan thinks its time for Ursula to get her gun back. Playtime is over and Ursula and Marcelino are both relieved that nobody got shot today.
DamPapiChulo brings Michelito and lunch home to the crew. Ha, Dam puts Sabritas right into his sandwich, which I’ll remember just in case I ever get the opportunity to invite William Levy to lunch.
Dam is on his boat with babysitter Magdalena. OMG that baby is adorable in his little jeans! Gag, here comes Hernan. He asks Dam what Dam is doing in his (Hernan’s) boat. He is now the only owner of the empacadora, (gasp!), hence he is also the owner of La Tempestad. Dam pulls out a contract and tells Hernan he bought the boat a long time ago from the empacadora. Also, the contract says if Mercedes or her heirs no longer own the empacadora then the boat is Dam’s free and clear. Dam hereby releases the empacadora and DamLastWord’s first act as complete owner of La T is to tell Hernan to get off his boat. Now. Mags happily toodles her fingers at Hernan.
The fed hauls Ursully down to the station to question her about her gun being fired. Ursully tells him that she didn’t shoot the gun once, but many times. In fact she and Hernan just had target practice today. Didn’t Mr. Fed note the local Target Practice outfit of clinging short dress and spike heels? Fed tells Ursully she can go but she’d better not leave town. Robles was hiding and tells his guy that Ursula and Hernan gave each other an alibi they can’t dispute, but pretty soon those two are going to hit some bad luck.
Hernan goes to Neptuno so he can invade Marina’s space and confirm he is the new owner of the fishery. Marina seems cool with it, Hernan is a businessman and such is life. He wants her to work by his side but Marina needs to clarify something. She stayed for Mercedes but now that Hernan is boss there is nothing for her to do there. I’m sure Hernan has some ideas of many things she could do there. He says he needs her to manage the fishery, pleeeeze stay. Marina says she’ll consult with Damian first and she’ll stay until they find someone to replace her. That’s the best she can offer for now.
Oso and Lagarto open their fish stand at the mercado. It’s called The Little Mermen (Los Sirenitos). They sell all kinds of seafood and it’s all the freshest at the best price. Musicians join them to kick up the revelry. Lolo dances with a fish.
Dam and Mags return Michelito to Delfina. She tells Mags she’s welcome to come and visit the baby any time.
Over at Hernan’s Nut House Hernan has a meltdown because Pester’s plan didn’t work. He pushes her around until that [boing!] noise distracts him and he starts pacing. Hernan goes inside, opens his candy drawer and pulls out a little something for Ursully even though she didn’t quite succeed with Rebecca. Ursully loves her pearl necklace and agrees to do everything Hernan asks. Everything!
Pester goes to Delfina’s to take her baby back. Delfina stands in her way but Pester knocks her down and steps over her. I can’t decide, is Pester a worse daughter or a worse mother?
Ursully promises to model her new necklace that night, completely naked! All of a sudden her giggling stops. Here comes Ernesto with two armed guards. Ernie is not happy to meet Hernan’s accomplice Ursully. Ernesto hopes she’s trustworthy; he glares at Hernan and says he hates snitches (soplones).
Delfina calls Pester to check on the baby. Pester snarls they made it home fine and leave her in peace!
Hernan and Ursula drive up to Casa de Pester. Ursully knows what she’s supposed to do but she’s nervous. She sneaks into Pester’s house, tiptoes around in her spiky heels, and finds Pester sound asleep. She slips into the nursery, snatches Michelito, and beats a hasty retreat.
Meanwhile Delfina finds Dam and tells him Pester took the kid and she’s worried.
Meanwhile Fully pours himself a drink and talks about DamStupid fighting for a kid that’s not even his. “Just wait until the real, all-powerful daddy shows up,” he snickers.
Hernan hands the baby over to Ernesto, proof that Ernie can trust Hernan. Ernie doesn’t exactly thank Hernan, but says he’ll keep this very much in mind. Ursully tells Hernan that Ernie gives her the creeps. Hernan is convinced that Ernie is planning some sort of revenge against him, but he won’t permit it.
Dam gets home and wants his baby pronto. DamIrritated knows for darn sure Pester can’t be trusted alone with the baby. Guess who’s missing from the crib? “Where’s my son? Answer me?”, demands DamPithed. Pester walks around looking under diapers (snort!). In short, she doesn’t know. DamSuspicious suspects Pester is up to her old tricks, what did she do with that baby?
Dam finds out Pester fired Consuelo and she was alone with the baby. DamFrantic is panicked. Pester says nobody was there, just she and Michel. Dam storms off.
Ursully tries to reassure Hernan that surely Don Ernesto trusts him now. Hernan knows Ernesto all too well, just when you think you’re safe...you get whacked. Hernan is also pithed because with the baby gone that leaves things wide open for Dam and Marina. Ursula thought-bubbles that would be just fine with her.
Casa de Mercedes - Mercy gives Claudio the 411 about losing the empacadora, which she was hoping to have for her daughters. She refuses Claudio’s offer of a loan. Mercy tells Claudio she’s not giving up. She’s going to win the battle to regain her daughters. Claudio says faith and hope are Mercy’s strengths. Mercy says if they don’t accept her she’ll insist. If they don’t accept her she’ll insist. If they don’t accept her she’ll insist. (Yes she said it three times.) Until they call her...mama! They do tequila shots.
Robles has been trying to call Zully. Robles and his pal fret about Zully’s disappearance. Robles has the feeling that someone got rid of her.
Dam accuses Fully of stealing the kid. Fully is enraged and wants to help Dam find the baby, not for Dam but for his grandson. After Dam leaves Fully thumps the desk and mutters that Ernesto Contreras must be behind this. He yells for his cop lackeys.
Dam calls Robles for help. He’s searching the whole town. Robles says he’ll jump into action and send his guy to Pester’s house.
Mags gives Marina the 411 about Michelito going missing. Mags will mommy and auntie-sit while Marina goes to Dam. Marina finds DamDistraught and gives him a reassuring hug.
Dam and Marina pass out photos and flyers all over town “Se Busca - Al bebé Michel Fabre!” They do this through several scenes, in town, on the waterfront, all over.
The Fed is at Pester’s house interrogating her. But since she was passed out on her bed there’s not much she can tell him. She heard nothing, saw nothing. Delfina tells Pester “I told you so, you’re a crap mom!” She had hopes for Pester but she is appalled at Pester’s insensitivity. Pester wants to know what Delfina expects her to do, run down the street crying? (Yes!!!) Delfina is disgusted with her daughter.
Fully blows into Casa de Hernan and tells Ursully to beat it, he wants words with Hernan. Fully demands to know what Hernan did with his grandson! Hernan feigns ignorance but Fully knows otherwise. Hernan wants to know who told Fully that Ernie was the dad. Fully vows to find out what happened to that kid. He tells Hernan that with all his visions of grandeur he’s nothing but Ernie’s lapdog.
Dam and Marina finally take a rest. Poor DamSad says this is worse than the worst storm he’s ever been in. Now he understand the desperation parents feel for their kids. How their hearts just slowly die.
Mexico City, Ernie’s Hideaway - Ernie is back and he’s the proud papa of our favorite baby, now temporarily named Ernesto. He has big plans for his heir, and announces to Nereo that his vengeance can commence.
R-LayDee - DamTearful prays for the return of his baby. Padre T joins him, then Marina and the crew. They all pray.
Dam tells Marina he feels that his baby was taken out of the town. She can’t believe it, everyone loves him. “Not everyone,” he says. It’s probably one of his enemies and Hernan is one of those.
Fully, back at home, growls there is no doubt that Ernesto Contreras has his grandkid.
Casa del Loco - Ursully gives Hernan a soothing neck massage by the pool. Dam interrupts and demands his son back. Again Herny feigns ignorance. Ursully says Hernan was with her all day. DamDisgusted says he thought she had more sense than to hang out with this jackass. Dam says if he finds out Hernan had anything to do with Michel, Hernan will regret it the rest of his life. Hernan takes a swing and barely nicks DamFast. In short, DamMacho proceeds to beat on Hernan until Ursula fires a gun which she points at DamPithed until he leaves.
Marina goes home and updates Magdalena. They couldn’t find the baby anywhere in town. Mags is ready to find the mommy (Pester) and give her a smackdown. Marina asks her to cool off, there are more important things to worry about.
Hernan’s Day Gets Worse - Hernan kicks Ursula out and gets a call from Ernie. Ernie says the kid’s fine but he’s a little sick from the trip. Hernan rolls his eyes and says he hopes Ernie’s is satisfied with his loyalty. No quite, Ernie wants one more proof. He wants to know what has happened with Mercedes. Ernie is happy to hear she lost the empacadora, but he still wants her destroyed emotionally. He wants to know why Hernan never told him the daughter of his worst enemy works with him in R-LayDee. He demands an explanation. Hernan says he already told Ernie he’s in love with Marina Reverte. Turns out she’s Mercy’s daughter. Ah, Ernie remember she’s the one Hernan was supposed to marry and lost. He says Hernan is no longer trustworthy and has turned dangerous. If Hernan wants to prove his loyalty then he must hand over Marina to Ernesto ASAP.
Dam tells Marina he thinks Hernan is behind the kidnapping. Stupid Marina doesn’t believe Hernan would ever do such a thing. Oh Marina, if you only knew. DamLoud yells she doesn’t know him and ya basta with “Hernan’s not capable”. Hernan is obsessed with her just like Pester is obsessed with him. They would both do anything to separate them and destroy their happiness; they are both sick in the head.
Mr. Fed shows up with bad news. There is no doubt the baby was kidnapped away from R-LayDee.
Ernesto says not only must Hernan deliver up Marina, but also Magdalena. He wants the daughters of Mercedes. What he does with them is none of Hernan’s business, just follow orders! Hernan sobs on the steps, his face turning as pink as his shirt.
Abigail cries her woes to Padre T. He agrees to help her out with a job. Later she gloats to Lucia that she got fired from the fishery but she’s got another job and plans to stay in town. Abby tells Lu to accept it, Laz is as good as hers. Women like her always get their man.
Pester whines loudly when Dam takes his stuff and leaves her house. He points out the obvious, with bebé Michel gone there is no point in him staying there.
Hernan has another meltdown and yells he won’t deliver up Marina to be tortured and killed. He won’t! He sprints down the steps. A man with a plan.
Ernie calls someone and says he doesn’t trust Hernan. He wants this person to deliver up Marina ASAP. Finally he will revenge himself on Mercedes Artigas..
Back in R-LayDee a couple of ne’er-do-wells follow Marina. Just as they are about to nab her, good-but-ineffective cop Toribio calls to her. This was Toribio’s most successful act of policing and he didn’t even know it. He tells Marina he couldn’t find the baby anywhere.
Mr. Fed arrives at Casa del Loco. He is surprised that Hernan called and asked him to stop by. Hernan says he has important and delicate information, he wants to talk to Fed’s boss. Hernan agrees to go with the Fed to the state capital.
Hernan goes to the station and is shocked to see Comandante Robles. “Looks like today is the day everyone rises from the dead,” he chuckles. Robles says Hernan ordered someone to kill him, yet here he is. Hernan thought bubbles that Lazaro’s ass is grass for betraying him. Then he tells Robles it was Fully who ordered his death, not he. Robles says fine, juarever. For now just tell me what you know about Ernesto Contreras.
Hernan wants to cut a deal. First of all, he demands protection from the wrath of Ernesto Contreras. Robles agrees and makes a call to put Hernan in witness protection. He wants to hear everything that Hernan knows about Ernesto. Everything, all the truth, or no protection. Hernan says Ernesto is not dead. Robles suspected that. Hernan says that ErnestoContreras has been extorting him for years with his businesses. He now knows that ErnestoContreras has the son of Damian Fabre. Pestercita herself admitted this to Hernan and Fulgencio knew too. Hernan has Ernie’s cell number and Robles should be able to find his hideout from that.
Casa de Dam - Marina reassures Dam that surely the authorities will find his son.
Dam gets a phone call. (It’s Ernesto of course.) Mystery voice says all Dam needs to know is that he has Pester’s kid. Dam wants his son back now, he’ll do anything. Ernie says forget the kid, you’ll never see him again!
Oh crap, we’ve already gone through two original episodes and there’s still another half hour of show left!
Dam gets a call, there is info that Michel might be in Mexico City. He’s going of course, and Marina tells him to be careful for her and their baby.
She just couldn’t resist - Mags pays Pester a little visit to tell her it’s not fair for an innocent child to suffer because of Pester’s stupidity. Pester tries to kick Mags out but Mags smacks her down, she won’t be pushed out until she has her say. Pester accuses Mags of being just like her sister, and of having the hots for Dam. Mags tells Pester she doesn’t know squat about love. Mags is hanging around Dam because of the baby.
Hernan visits Marina at home feigning concern about the baby. He knows Dam went to Mexico City to get his son. Marina wonders how Hernan knows this. He tells Marina it was HE who told the police where to find Ernesto Contreras.
Mexico City, Casa de Mercedes - Robles tells Dam and Mercy that he’s putting a net around Ernesto’s home. Mercy is shocked to hear the name of Ernesto. Dam tells her he’s not dead and he stole Dam’s child.
Ernie sends Nereo out for medicine for the baby and tells him not to to attract attention to himself.
Mercy fears her kids are now in danger with Ernie alive and kicking. Is Robles sure that their “anonymous” informant is trustworthy? She appreciates the warning so she can take steps to protect her daughters. Dam swears he’s going to take Ernesto down, get his son back, and protect Mercy and her daughters.
Becky gets a teddy bear visit at home. But it’s not Oso, it’s Jose with a stuffed osito for Becky. She thanks him for saving her after the accident. He’d better be careful because soon she’ll be as good as new. She says the house is too quiet, is something wrong? He gives her the 411 on the kidnapping and that Dam went to the DF to track down his son.
Becky tells Jose she wants to speak honestly. She’s really not in love with Oso. Jose pretends to act shocked. She loves Jose and even though she fears commitment her heart belongs to him only.
La Guaca - Lu thinks maybe she should give Laz another chance. Yawn.
Marina asks Herny if it’s true, is Ernesto alive? Hernan knows because Ernesto was extorting him. He swears Marina to secrecy or else his life is in danger. StupidMarina can’t believe it was honorable Hernan who is helping Dam recover his son. Hernan Haskell says Dam accused him but Hernan could never let anyone hurt a child and he could never let anyone hurt Marina.
Ernie paces the floor wondering where in the heck Nereo is. He gets his answer a moment later when Robles and crew blast through the door, guns drawn.
DamHawtInSWAT demands to know where his son is. Ernesto laughs and says Dam is very mistaken, that child is his, and a paternity test will prove it. Dam says he doesn’t need any damn test. He points the gun at Ernie’s head and wants to know where his kid is NOW. Robles freaks, probably because his own head is in the line of fire, and he tells DamExcited to calm down.
Dam hears Michel crying and runs to his son. Nereo is outside the door eavesdropping. He’s sure it was either Hernan or Fulgencio who ratted out Ernesto.
Abigail brings flowers to NosyRosy. Rosy says Lu never did such a thing, she’s sure Abi will be the perfect novia for Lazaro. Abi sneaks around the house, finds one of Laz’s shirts and steals it. Is she going to make soup out of it, or does she have a more nefarious plan?
DamRelieved finds his baby. He’s so relieved and so are we! Dam hugs him and carries him out.
Marina is still gushing over Hernan’s faux heroics. He’s glad Marina finally knows who he really is. He wants a favor from her, it would mean a lot to him and he thinks she would really like it. Would she go to a site (place?) with him tomorrow? She doesn’t think that’s such a good idea. Dam might misinterpret it. But...OK she’ll go as a thank-you to Hernan for helping Dam.
Guess who’s coming to dinner? Abigail that’s who, as Laz discovers. Rosy gloats. Abi hisses it’s not her fault. Laz wisely, and unbelievably, excuses himself from the table. He lost is appetite.
Rosy invites Abi to visit any time. Abi tells Rosy she reminds her of her mother. Gosh Abi misses her so much. Her parents died in an accident when she was young. Rosy always wanted a daughter like Abi. They hug just as Lucia walks in.
Robles and his guy think the rescue was a success, but Robles know Hernan is still lying. He’s sure Hernan is the one who ordered Robles to be killed. The only reason they haven’t gone after Hernan with Laz’s testimony is Robles wants to get more info about the organization. For now they’ll play Hernan’s game.
Marina and Dam have the baby. She’s happy to babysit Michel while Dam runs an errand.
Dam visits the Pest and tells her the baby is in a place safe from her. He’s been very patient with her lies and irresponsibility, and he’s not going to allow the baby to live with her any more. Michel is moving in with him and Dam’s not going to fall for Pester’s threats anymore. The law is on his side because she’s a Bad Mother. Oh, and newsflash, Ernesto Contreras is very much alive and he’s the one who stole the baby. Ernie told Dam that the baby is his and he asks Pester if that’s true. She claims it is but Dam says it doesn’t matter what she says because he KNOWS the child is his. Pester is very very worried to hear that Ernesto is alive.
Lucia the Eternal Crier wanders the streets of R-LayDee crying that she’s lost Lazaro forever. She sees Fully and tells him she saw Abigail leaving Lazaro’s house and NosyRosy was giving her a hug. She’s lost Laz for good. Fully’s looks furious and vows that’s not going to happen.
Marina holds Michel and promises to defend and protect him with her life. DamHappyAtLast overhears and tells Marina she won’t have to protect anyone because he’s going to protect her and their children and the whole family. Marina gets rewarded with a hot kiss.
Hernan pays off some guy. Is he in a hospital or clinic? The guy promises “the lady” will be impressed. In a later scene Hernan has brought Marina to this place. The guy says Hernan is one of their oldest and best benefactors. Marina is impressed by Hernan’s largesse and humility. Gag.
Fully is still making election speeches and he cuts the ribbon opening the new hospital.
Ernesto is in jail.
Dam and Marina are happy with Michelito while Pester fumes.
Olinto wins the election by a landslide while Fulgencio fumes and pitches a fit.
Bea practices moving her fingers and thinks soon she will be able to talk and unmask that jerk Hernan.
Mercy tells Marina (now in a different outfit because its days later) that she promised to give her time but she’s her mother and must insist, blah blah blah. Soon Marina will be a mother and will have a different perspective. They have the present and only God knows the future. Mercy has a mother’s heart and simply can’t stop stalking trying to talk to Marina.
Casa del Loco - Hernan tells Pester its been three months and Dam and Marina are still together, Pester doesn’t have her child and she’s lost control over Dam. Pester says not her fault and she hasn’t seen Hernan accomplish much in those three months either. Hernan claims he was waiting for things to calm down but now he’s ready for action and Pester’s going to help. All she has to do is two things: The first is listen. The second is not screw it up...
Marina goes for her ultrasound and Doc suspenders says there’s no doubt, they’re going to be the proud parents of a beautiful girl. DamHappy couldn’t be happier. Marina says her happiness will be complete when Bea is better.
Hernan is still sucking up to Marina, making her think he loves children. He cackles insanely and says he’s still a kid at heart. He invades her space but is happy because he thinks bit by bit he’ll win her over.
Sra. Rufi tells Becky there’s a bouquet of flowers for her. Oopsie, it’s Oso. He gets on a knee and asks Becky to marry him. She tries to tell him they are only friends. As he leaves he and Jose secretly high five. Is their plan working?
Jose pretends to be jealous about the flowers. Becky tells him Oso proposed but she feels nothing for him. What can she do to convince Oso? Jose suggests if she can convince Oso that she and Jose are novios that might work.
Nereo visits Ernesto’s faithful doctor and doc says they have to figure out a way to get Ernie out of jail. Nereo says it was one of two men who snitched on Ernie, Fully or Hernan.
Fully finds Abigail and warns her to leave Lazaro in peace. She refuses, and says if he threatens her she’ll tell Lazaro it was Fully who hired her in the first place. Fully watches her leave and tells Mayuya she will soon have company.
So close...but: Dam and Marina happily play with Michelito. Dam says finally things are going right, he is on the verge of getting custody of Michel and a divorce from Pester so he and Marina can get married. But heck, we knew this wasn’t going to last long. Nasty Pester interrupts to tell Dam the good news. Remember that night they made not hot love? You know, the pictures on the phone? Well Pester is preggers and expecting yet another of DamFertile’s kids.
Mañana - Ester and Hernan move forward with their NEW plan. A doctor confirms Pester is pregnant. Dam swears it isn’t his, but a blood test says it is. No es cierto!

Sylvia, splendidly detailed, wry and witty. You masterfully captured this threecap perfectly. We were bombarded with one major development after another, most of which were out of context and made only partial sense since the accompanying scenes were languishing on the cutting room floor. I told myself I wasn't going to rant about what we missed but "Lolo dances with a fish" made me grimace a bit. I think he is adorable and fun. But when I saw we missed "She loves Jose and even though she fears commitment her heart belongs to him only"??? That crossed the line. We've been waiting to hear her utter those words and not to see them? We were robbed.
To what we did see. Dam told Marina Hernan is no good and she STILL wouldn't listen. He has hoodwinked her once again. Smarten up Marina! Mags would not have let him fool her for a minute.
Fear that Ernesto will somehow get out of jail - too bad Dam didn't take him out when he had the chance (did I really say that?) Also, Ernesto wants both Marina AND Mags? I have a very bad feeling about this (no spoiler) so hope the competent Commandante employs every possible person to protect them instead of lavishing resources on despicable Hernan.
Mercedes needs to get a grip and put aside her wanting her daughters to accept her. She needs to concentrate on keeping them alive so they have that opportunity.

Good morning everyone and thank you for your comments. If I missed one of the myriad of details, or got something wrong, please don't hesitate to comment about it. For example, I couldn't figure out what kind of clinic Hernan was supposedly helping out, not that it matters. What matters is that he has totally hoodwinked Marina. Gah!

Hi , everyone. thanks, Sylvia! for the snappy recap constructed while your eyes were spinning. In addition to Uni cutting out scenes, I seem to have cut out some that they showed. After a loooong day and some problems, I fell asleep on the sofa. When I closed my eyes! Ernasty was walking away from Herny and his henchmujer UrNowcompletlySullied carrying the bebe , and when I opened my eyes, Marina was holding the bebe. I knew that I must have missed even more than what Uni cut out.

In fact, except for missing the hot kiss and the Watermelon-colored man, there was more information and humor in your recap than in an episode run through a Ronco Veggie-Matic. (I actually had one of these and was totally and hilariously surprised to see it displayed at the Smithsonian Museum.)

yes, Elna June, Sylvia deserves three heartfelt thank yous for recapping three episodes. in fact, I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to all our recappers for devoting so much of their time and talent to providing not only recaps of what we see on the TV each evening but also all the missing parts that have vanished due to Uni's cutting. What a challenge all the recappers have taken on. I am impressed and grateful. I really love this novela and feel cheated that we are not able to see so many scenes. However, the recappers have made it possible for us to know what we are missing. THANK YOU! all.
Sylvia...I loved all your DamNames, and although I have never heard of the watermelon popsicle, my mind immediately thought "watermelon" as soon as I saw Herny's outfit. Maybe someone should let him know that the whole color blocking trend seems to be on the way out.
I cannot figure out what karma has in store for our villains!, but I think Herny might die protecting Marina, and if Ernasty manages to get out of jail free and gets his hands on Michel again , Fully might die trying to protect his nieto. I do not think Pester will die, but some kind of pie cart is rolling in her direction even as we speak/write for being both a lousy daughter and an equally lousy mother...at least she is consistent unlike the characters on CI. Being a bad mother is her greater sin because a mother is supposed to be the protector of her child and Pester does not cRe about her bebe and has also endangered him by over medicating him. UrSulliedBeyondredemption will either die in the crossfire between Herny and Fully and Ernasty or end up in jail without her hard earned jewelry wardrobe.

Question: It seems that the villains never die at the hands of the galans and leading ladies. They are usually killed, maimed, or somehow made to suffer at the hands of other villains, the law, or karma. Does anyone know of a galan who killed a villain ?

Yes, I was the one who said Ester has no sense of personal danger. It’s kind of crazy the way she’ll keep going after these crazy dudes, like a rabid Chihuahua, even after she gets slapped down. I guess it was all those years growing up with and getting slapped around by Fully.
Susanlynn- Jeronimo, the galan in Cuando Me Enamoro, killed the main villain with his own hands with a sword. He skewered him. That was quite a surprise because it’s SO rare for the good guys to kill the villains with their own hands, and not by accident.
Yes, I was the one who said Ester has no sense of personal danger. It’s kind of crazy the way she’ll keep going after these crazy dudes, like a rabid Chihuahua, even after she gets slapped down. I guess it was all those years growing up with and getting slapped around by Fully.

The only galan I can think of that killed a villain was Antolin Galvan (Marcelo Cordoba) in La Fuerza del Destino. He was a gray galan as I liked to call him. He wasn't completely bad, he was more good than bad. He ended up maiming a bad guy and killing another.

Oh my Sylvia...bringing home a house guest unannounced while you're slaving over a triple recap. I had a somewhat similar experience years ago. Husband invited friend to stay the night. I did not know. As I walked down the hall around midnight (no top on because I was going to nurse my baby) who comes out of the bathroom but this guy!!!!! To say that I was annoyed with both my husband and this fellow is an understatement. Embarrassed too, of course.

Mads- But Antolin wasn't the main galan in LFDD. He was a secondary character who went from bad, to a mix of good and bad, to good. He was redeemed. But it was still very novel of LFDD to have a "good" guy kill anybody. Plus, it was Marcelo Cordoba, so that made it more awesome. :)

A while ago I said I'd love to see WL eating the Sabritas on LT and he did. Loved his little experiment of putting the Sabritas inside the sandwich. Will have to try it out. PS: They have been advertising Sabritas a lot lately. In one of those episodes from last night I saw a Sabritas bag advertising it had 12% more chips whatever that means.
The scene with the kids finding the cell phone was very important and shouldn't have been cut. I'm hoping the kids give the cellphone to DamFab so he can hand it over to the Feds. Of course it has been three months since they found the cell phone so who knows where that whole storyline is going.
I'm going to try and upload a clip of Rebeca and Jose sometime later today. I too wouldn't mind seeing the Jaz and Laz story get cut while keeping the things with Jose, Becky, and the crew.
So glad to see Olinto won the election.

Agnes- Three months have passed, so Ester is supposedly three months pregnant. How she plans to pull off a fake pregnancy for months is beyond me, but one of the characters in Abismo managed to do it for almost her entire pregnancy with fake bellies and other people's ultrasounds.
Potato chips in sandwiches are delicious. I have eaten them this way for years (until I went vegetarian, sigh). They're great in tuna fish salad sandwiches and also super on cheeseburgers.

I wonder what Hernan will be wearing when he meets his anvil? I fear I've become a bit obsessed with his wardrobe.

The aggrieved Esthercita is so very NOISY. When she starts to scold, you just want to get away from the RATATATATATATATAT sound of her machine gun voice.
DamReasonable replies to her so very quietly in a voice barely above a whisper. A testosterone-infused whisper.

Since we missed the scene where Marina visits the clinic with Hernan, does anyone know if the person Marina and Hernan spoke with is the same person seen in the preview saying that Pester is preggers? Could that person been paid by Hernan? Too many questions and not enough time.

Great job Sylvia. You guys are so amazingly dedicated in keeping us informed of the omitted bits. I was confused about a number of things after watching last night and you managed to clear them up in such a tidy as well as delightful fashion. I can't imagine why anyone without access to this website would bother to continue watching.

I vote yes on the cubanos too. Is it my imagination or is William's acting a bit better now than an the beginning? I'd like to think he's trying to learn from the greats like Cesar and Daniela.

Wow..I am back , and I notice that there has been a lot of talk about food. ...it is dinner time. Careful...I recall that Carlos and I got in a lot of trouble by innocently exchanging recipes a few years ago.
That being said, when I was a kid, I used to sometimes put potato chips on my sandwiches. It was a nice, crunchy experience. I never buy potato chips....I love potato chips , and I rarely eat sandwiches. I am not a complete vegetarian, but I eat very little meat and no beef. However, I always order a Cuban sandwich when I go out to lunch with my besties .Delish. We talk so much, so they never are ready to order, but I'm ready before we sit down because I always order the same tasty Cuban sandwich.

I , too, think that Will and X are getting better and better. And how does Uni reward their improvement? They cut out scenes that the viewers would like to see.
