Mentir Para Vivir #28 Wed 11/13/13 JL makes Oriana an offer she can’t refuse, or can she?
Labels: mentir
I loved Oriana's all moment by Table for two. Every emotion was in this minutes, and this wasn't constrained. Godd MV, Good! :)
I love your "Stalker Mode", Paquita.
Ricardo similars to a KGB agent, he wants to know everything about Oriana's steps. He has a beagles's fair. But I understand Oriana, midst of this situation, she feels it leaden and stifling. If Ricardo wants to do good for Oriana, he has to be more patient, and not he works than a lie-detector machine.
Frankly, I would enjoyed Cesar's dream, and when the dream comes true, OMG. I want the same dream for me, and I don't want to be missionary, so it wouldn't cause problem for me. I would have a beautiful awakening.
What will Oriana say? Yes or No. Which answer will be smarter and better? I think both of them are bad for Ori. If she says Yes, Ric would be crazier, but if she says No, and Ric finds out her lie, he would be same crazier.
Will she, or won't she? I like that Ori held back some info from JL, and didn't tell him that Ricky and his trusted team know her true identity. This will give Ricky an advantage, if Ori chooses to tell him that FC is really JL.
Alejo- LOL! I'm sure many men will agree with you that Cesar is a lucky avatars to have a fantasy come to life like that. I hope he goes back and continues to talk to Mariano to help sort out his feelings.
I don't understand Sebastian's attitude or does he not understand that Maria is dangerous to herself and others... including himself?
MadHilde is going to screw things up tomorrow; I'm sure of this.
Alejo, when you said "I want the same dream for me, and I don't want to be missionary" - my mind skipped the "to be" before "missionary" - I thought you wouldn't mind going through what Cesar is going through as long as the missionary position is not used ... I'm sick, I know, a mini-Raquel... :)
What will Oriana do, that's the million dollars question - I think she lies because this way when Ric finds out the truth, he'll be upset with her and probably stop laying it on so thick with his love declarations.
Whenever Oriana says there are so many things that separate them, I chuckle - the situation is pretty complicated, but that's NOTHING compared to normal tn couples - more realistic, yes, but definitely not impossible to live with.
Wrt Sebas, isn't the fact that he was acknowledged legally as a Sanchez Breton-his birth cert and other identity docs say he is-negate his actual paternity? He's now 18 so isn't he considered either way an heir equal to Ric especially if Gabriel, his wife and Ric acknowledged him as an heir? I know I'm applying legal knowledge to a TN, and the legal rules are what Sras Zarattini and Ocampo say, but disinheriting Sebas for a fraud he didn't perpetuate is a bit legally dumb to me.
I haven't watched this EP yet but I get the feeling that Oriana won't say Castro is JL and when Ric finds out Oriana lied to him and involved a criminal in the Aresti business to protect her hide will make for some explosive drama.
His instinct about Piero was also right, and he would have pushed more to find out what's bugging his amigo, had they not been interrupted. He reads people pretty well.
You know what's really been going through my mind the past few episodes? What is Ricky going to do to his so called friends Piero and Antonio when he finds out the truth about how they have lied to him all these years?
I try to put myself in his place and I wonder if he already down deep suspects that either one or both of them have lied to him. I also wonder just how he will react.
I'm actually waiting for that reveal as it will have major implications for those two "friends" of his. Piero's conscience has bothered him for a number of years, I believe, but the other guy...I don't know. He's a jerk. Paloma doesn't like him either. I still remember her wiping his hand kiss off her hands!
Anywho, betrayal of any kind is difficult, but this particular betrayal is huge. Ricky lost a lot of years with the blackmailing and the making sure he didn't "ruin" the family name.
That is huge guilt to put on the shoulders of a teenager; huge.
Fatima (I know, I'm over thinking this one, but I am really hooked on this TN with its smart characters)
This is going to be huge. I'm sure of it. :) Well, it's a given, isn't? :))
Fatima
Oriana just needs time to think things through. Whether she tells Ricky now or not, she definitely needs to reject JL investing in the business.
Madhilda putting pastry in her purse was wild. Lady, you live in the lap of luxury - you don't need to horde pastry.
Raquel actually might be doing Cesar a favor, in more ways than one. I don't think he's cut out for the priesthood anyway. I haven't seen him lift one finger to help his fellow man, not even his sister. I'm in the he's running-from-mama camp.
Ruben said "Holling one" with such conviction. Too funny.
I was supremely annoyed with Ricardo this episode. I was thinking to myself that when she came home, he talked to her as if she was a teenager getting home after curfew. Then when he got off the phone with her, talking to her that same way, and Sebastian walked in and started in on Ricardo I realized that's exactly who Ricardo sounded like! A spoiled brat who's pissy because he's not getting his way. I hope he gets over it quickly! I don't want to start hating him. And also...the neck scarf? Lose it, please!
I'm beyond annoyed at Raquel and what she's doing to Cesar. Abusing her position and using her key to get into his room is crossing a line for me. She's taking advantage of his inexperience, and not just sexually. I don't think he has any idea what he wants, since he's spent most of his life not being allowed to make decisions for himself. I wonder how much he's had the freedom to decide anything beyond what clothes to put on in the morning--if that!
And Matilde with the pastry...seriously? That's a pretty lowbrow thing for someone who's hung up on class to do. And on a more practical note, she stuffed one that's dusted/crusted with sugar into her purse only barely wrapped in a napkin. She's going to be pulling sugared everything out of there for months! Come on, writers!
I hope Madhilde's purse gets overrun with ants. Qué the heck with the pastry swiping? It isn't like she's being starved at home.
Ricardolt is grating on my nerves. I do not like his controlling tendencies. He and Sebastard are so much alike, even if they aren't blood relatives. I wonder who the real father is. Sebas looks a lot more like Piero. Hard to see how Antonio and Maria could together create a child with his coloring. Of course, in a telenovela that doesn't matter. How about a dark horse candidate? MARIANO! And he and Maria were both roofied so neither of them remembers it! That would be a twist.
Poor Cesar is kind of heartbreaking. A hot night, then cut to the cold light of day and he is crying in church.
I did laugh when Lucina chided Raquel for sitting at the table in her robe, because guests would think it was a bordello. Ha! It already IS a bordello! I wonder if it will be good or bad for business when word gets out.
From yesterday Cynderella & Vivi on Ricky and Maria - I can understand why he didn't want to send her to a mental facility and his relationship w/her is stuck back in his teen years. However, my understand ceases when it is obvious Ben was doing nothing to help her and being abusive. Anyplace would have been better for Maria than that hate filled hovel. And her brief stay w/Fidelia was just ridiculous.
I guess that's the downside of having a galan who thinks-he always suspects something is up and he's almost always right that something's up. Ricky knew Ines was Oriana off-the-bat; he knew Mariano was falling for Orianez. He knows Ines is hiding something now. Heck, he even knows Sebas and Maria are hiding something from him but b/c that issue is a sore spot, he's in denial about Sebas not being his child.
Also, it seems to me in tns that overt jealousy between the protags about their relationship is par-for-the-course as it signifies 'true love.' Ric has pretty much put Marilu and Raquel on forever ignore, so his obsession with Orianez is suppose to signify his commitment to her.
I would have seen more from the married life of Ori and JL. I am citing now: "She tells him he's a miserable man, always was and always will be." (I heared thes words, too.)
So I think she's saying in hindsight, he was fooling her all the time they were married, but she was too blind to see it. So it both explains that she did have a happy marriage, but she now thinks that it was based on lies.
Maria does not know that Sebastian is her son.
I agree that Oriana was looking at her marriage in hindsight, knowing now what she didn't know then that he has probably lied to her their entire marriage. That's not unusual when a person finds out after many years that their spouse was cheating to remember many clues that went unnoticed before they learned of the infidelity.
I'm not shedding any tears for César. Heck, just say no or live the dream... either way, quit that whining.
Carlos
Sab is getting on my last nerve. He should be a little respectful. One, he knows Ric is definitely not his dad. Two, he knows he is not entitled to anything from Gabriel's estate. Three, what can he possibly hope to gain by his obnoxious behavior? Betrayal comes too easily to these characters. I feel Ric's anguish. Finally finds the perfect woman and boom she has more baggage than a csx train.
what I don't understand, is why best friend Piero doesn't confess.
AS for Cesar, once a doormat always a doormat. Good job Madhilde.
Hanna
Speaking of which, in Llena de Amor, when Axel had so much sexual dysfunction, it was later revealed that it was due to the horrible things his mother had done to him years earlier. I wonder if there is anything like that in Cesar's case.
But I gotta say, the actress playing Oriana is pulling out all the stops! Wow! Would never have guessed from Una Familia she had it in her.
I like how Oriana is with Alina. She's a loving and tender mom, but she isn't all sweetness and light all the time with her (Chucho and Alma in PEAM, I'm looking at you). She knows how to turn on that mom voice. You can tell Mayrin has kids in real life (10 year old twins and a 4 year old).
I like how Oriana is as a mother also, not being all syrupy sweet to Alina or calling her "princesa" all the time. She's kind and caring, but not giving her kid a Centro Universo complex.
