De Que Te Quiero Te Quiero #78/79 6/3/2014 The Bleeeecccchhh Edition

De que tengo náuseas, tengo náuseas.

I respect you all enough to carry through with this recap, but I have a big desire to just invoke the Recapper's Privilege Card for the whole darn thing.

Let us begin the descent into hell.

Rodrigo apologizes to Carmen for the porno scene she walked in to last night. Carmen tells Not Diego to cool his jets. He and Natalia will be married soon enough. Respect her house.

Brigitte goes off on Irene. She had enough of her mom's reproaches without Irene jumping on her too. She leaves in a huff.

Alonso comes to get "Rodrigo's" record. Doc gets him up to speed. A while ago the patient seemed to improve, but tests showed his neurological activity was the same.

Diego's bed isn't working. Irma shakes her booty for Grumps. Bleeeccchhh.

Brigitte is packed and leaving the house. She tells her about the scene with the wedding dress (ooops, the secret is out.)Natalia tries to convince Brat to stay and Brat tells her to cut the goody goody crap. Brat is in rare form and tells Nat that if she hadn't come on the scene, Brat's life wouldn't be the utter crap that it is. Brat then has the nerve to say that she gets a little comfort knowing that Nat's real mother didn't even want her and just dumped her at the church. Carmen and Lupita arrive home. When Lupita finds out Brat is leaving she begins to cry and beg her not to go. Natalia offers to leave instead. Carmen tells Brat to go if she is so intent on leaving. Lupita is inconsolable. Gee whiz this kid is amazing!!

Jaiba plays Abdul. Thank heaven a sobbing Lupita calls in time to interrupt the kiss.

Poor Nat. She thought Brat was just showing Diego the dress, not MODELING the dress. Carmen has set her straight. Carmen thought it was fishy. She hopes Brat comes to her senses.

Brat calls Rodrigo and tells him she used the dress situation as the perfect excuse to leave the house. She'll stay with Alberto a few days to cover and then move into the apartment. She turns on the tears when Alberto comes to pick her up.

Apparently Brat has quit. Nat tells Irene about Brat leaving the house. Irene can't believe Brat is offended and playing the victim. According to Irene, Brat better not even think about coming back and begging for her job back.

Karina wakes up. She's mad that Alonso didn't stay the night. Meanwhile he's outside ringing the doorbell. He calls Karina who refuses to let him in. She's going to tell Irene everything and she hopes he suffers. I hate this woman.

Brat does indeed come back to work and apologizes. Irene lets her back because Nat begged her not to fire Brat. Brat is less than grateful.

El is dropping off papers at the fonda when he finds out from Abdul about Brat. Carmen cries in his arms.

Karina texts Irene that she slept with Al. Nat intercepts the text and erases it. Then she calls Al to tell him. Brat overhears the call and informs Karina.

El and Carmen talk about Bratgate. Carmen swears she's treated all her children the same and El agrees. El is sure that Brat will get the idea that Nat is the preferred daughter. Alberto is got a good head on his shoulder and he'll help Brat realize it.

WTH??? Alberto PROPOSES and Brat turns him down (she doesn't want to give up her dreams) and KEEPS THE RING??

Rod and Irma are making out when they are interrupted by a Grump bearing gifts. The old man plays it off like they are for "Rodrigo", but he ain't foolin' anyone. Irma says she's learned a seduction trick or two from Rod. Bleeeeccch.

Alonso meets with Nat at a cafe. He confesses that he slept with Ka-razy (Karina). Nat tells him he needs to be confessing to Irene. It's going to hurt her more if she hears it from someone else. She would never forgive him then.

Aaaannnd, cut to Caprico and Ka-razy waiting for Irene. Ka-razy tells Irene all about her roll in the hay with Al. At this point Irene has all faith in Al and tells Krazy so. Irene thinks Krazy is obsessed and needs to see a shrink.

Alberto drops Brat off at Caprico. Rodrigo pulls up and Al hops in the car and tells his buddy it's problem solving time aka drinkin' time.

Irene is in the doctors office. It's a fertility consult. Unfortunately, scarring from her previous birth will make it impossible for her to ever conceive again. She thinks about how much Al wants kids.

La Jaiba has lured Abdul with a false delivery order. She slimes and thank heaven Angela interrupts them before Abdul can catch a communicable disease. Jaiba scuttles away (totally stolen from Kat because it's effing brilliant.) Abdul doesn't even bother to thank Angela for saving him from a flesh eating STD. Ungrateful jerk.

Albert is drunk. Rodrigo is giving him a pep talk. Brat didn't flat turn him down. They'll get married in time. Besides, they are living together. Alberto tells him not for long since Brat is getting an apartment. Rod internally marvels at Brat's chutzpah.

Abdul REALLY wants syphilis. He's begging for a little of the Jaiba's time. Have some pride, dude. Jaiba dismisses him. One of the flunky crabettes thinks he won't be coming back any time soon. Jaiba tells her that's just how you play the game. Like a crab, once she's latched on...she won't let go.

At Caprico, Nat notices Brat's engagement ring. Nat is happy for her sis. Brat excuses herself. Nat calls her mother and tells her Brat's ring. Carmen is pleased about that. She's glad Nat told her; Brat sure wouldn't.

Alberto is still drunk. He really wants to marry Brat. Rod tries to tell Alberto that if it's not with Brat Alberto can marry someone else. Alberto wants Brat. Rod should get it. He fell in love with Nat the day her met her. Rod refers to Nat as a pueblerina, which Alberto recognizes as a Rod-ism. Too bad he's too drunk to process it any further. He cries about missing Rod and reminisces. Alberto wonders if Rod will ever wake up. "Diego" says you never know. Life is full of surprises.

Alonso returns to his office (wait, it's night time. Full moon and everything. Why is the secretary still there?)to find Irene crying. He jumps to the wrong to conclusion about why she's crying and confesses all about Krazy. Irene cries even more and tells him it's over. She will get her things from the apartment and go.

Rod brings drunk Alberto home. Oh how nice, Carmen and Nat are there, too. Brat and Rod take Alberto to his bedroom. While there they have a too long conversation about Brat getting married and Rod steals a kiss.

Carmen calls Brat out on being a little too friendly with Diego. Brat's line is completely bleeped out.

Outside, Natalia is telling Diego the same thing. He and Brat are just too friendly.

Carmen is also confused about Brat accepting a ring, but not the proposal. Brat explains she just wants to wait. She loves Alberto, but she doesn't want to give up her dreams. More blah blah about Nat taking her place. She doesn't want to depend on anyone (Rodiego doesn't count.)

Irene packs and leaves Alonsto's apartment. She doesn't listen to Al's pitiful begging. Good. He talks about their future plans and their family. She tells him that will never happen...but not why.

Wow. They are really Promo-ing the hell out of La Gata. Did Robo get this much promo? (God help me I want to watch La Gata.)

RPC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Irene is in a bar and this time she is unable to resist. Why? Why on my night?

Brat's cover story is that a classmate is going to be studying in Barcelona and Brat will move into her apartment. Alberto pouts and Brat tells him she needs her freedom. She needs to better herself. They will be a better couple for it. Great words...if they come from someone who means it. Alberto will try to understand. He wears the pajamas of a 12 year old.

Irene awakes in Tad's house. She called him from the bar the night before. She tells him about Alonso's betrayal. Tad hugs her #TeamTad.

Apparently there is some soccer game between Team El and Team El Fettuccine (Paolo's dad.) Kimberly brings lunch. Morales lets slip about the game. Kimberly will organize the porra (the cheering section.)

Irene is still in tears. Now she tells Tad about her infertility. Tad comforts. #TeamTad.

More about the soccer game. RPC.

El Fetuccine (seriously, thanks for making my job easier, writers) makes his soccer plans. He starts making phone calls to his prospective team members.

Rod thinks he and Brat need to cool it for a while. She pouts and wonders why she even got the apartment. It's the reason she came by. Don't worry, Brat. Rod still writes the check. They'll have to wait to break it in after his honeymoon. He's thinking Bali. Brat thinks it's in Europe. What a dummy. Rod is clearly not attracted to brains. Brat is pleased with the check. She shakes her a$$ as she leaves.

Irene calls into work and asks Nat to bring her some papers to sign. Nat takes down the address and knows immediately that something is up. It's not Al's address.

Alberto and Alonso share their lady woes. Al is thinking of studying in England. Alberto thinks that's a bad idea. Alberto asks if Al has told Diego. It's a perfect segue into "hasn't Diego been a little weird lately?" He's changed so much he reminds me of Rodrigo. Neither of them think any further of the matter.

Irma has a nightmare that Diego wakes up and chokes her. She wakes up and leaves to get more meds. Lala comes in and talks to "Rodrigo" and wishes he could be at "Diego's" wedding. He's marrying a girl named Natalia. Diego opens his eyes and Lala screams.

When we come back from commercial, T's wife is ordering him to take tea to the upset Lala. The nurse ordered it after Lala dio la patatús (had a fainting spell/freaked the hell out.) Upstairs, Irma explains it was just a reflex action that has scared many a family member. Don't mention it to Grumps, though. The more man doesn't need any false hope. T arrives with tea. He reminisces about how the boys used to mess with him since he couldn't tell them apart. He can't tell them apart, but he would swear it's Diego in that bed. Lala thinks he's nuts. He says Rod was always more pillo (impish) and the guy in the bed looks like an angel. Irma shuffles them out.

Abdul comes around looking for Jaiba and her syphilis. He goes back to the fonda and pouts. Angela has his number.

El and Fettuccine talk on the phone about the game. Padre Juancho will be the ref since El thinks Fettuccine thinks he will get his mafiosi buddies to call the game in he favor.

Nat brings the papers to Tad's house for Irene.

Irma talks Rod into getting rid of the metiches de T and his wife.

Padre Juancho gets talked into being the ref. "Arbitro y abogado del diablo son lo mismo" (A ref and the devil's lawyer are the same thing. ) Paolo is darling with Mara.

Irene tells Nat about her break up with Nat and Nat tells her about intercepting the message from Krazy. Irene tells Nat about Krazy approaching her outside Caprico. What really gets Irene is Alonso's weakness. Nat makes excuses for him (he was drunk and sad.) Irene doesn't accept them. She feels terrible about falling off the wagon. Nat tells her it was just a moment of weakness and she's sure Irene won't do it again. Irene agrees she will not fall into that quagmire again. She deserves better for herself. She thanks Nat for her affection and support. She will tell Diego personally.

T tells his wife that he thinks it's Diego in the bed. He starts crying about the dead daughter of Irene and Rodrigo overhears. He goes on to say that he can't even look Tad in the eyes. Rod's phone ring. It's Rod's partner in crime. More money has been moved around. Rod now knows Irene has a child with Tad. T comes to investigate the ringing phone and Rod bullies him into spilling the baby beans.

Natalia eats dinner with Tad and Irene. Irene is going to throw herself into her work. Nat asks how long they've known each other. Tad says forever and that Irene is his gran amor. A gran amor that has evolved into a great friendship. Irene is glad he is back in her life. #TeamTad.

Rod continues to bully T. He wants to know all about the baby and why T feels guilty. T's wife tells Rod that they just took care of Irene and she miscarried the baby (la criatrura malogró), but that was over 20 years ago. Rod wonders why the mystery?

El comes to ask Al plays soccer and if he's a crak (bad ass at soccer.)

Rodrigo plays backgammon with Grumps. I figure this scene is just for us to watch Rod squirm. He asks why he never told him about Irene having Tad's baby. Grumps reminds him they already talked about this in his office.

El. Alonso. Alonso's lady woes. El's lady woes.

Grumps notes that "Diego" seems to be forgetting a lot of things lately. He wonders how Diego found out the baby was Tad's. Rod tells him he overheard T talking. Grumps is not pleased. He is mad when "Diego" calls him "viejo" and tells him to stop acting like Rod. It makes him look like a bad copy of Rod.

Irene thanks Tad for his hospitality, but she feels like she's taking advantage. She just wants to be alone. Tad tells her not to worry. He just wants to support her. She agrees to stay. #TeamTad.

Grumps berates T about his big mouth. T can't help but think everything that is happening to Rod (coma) is somehow punishment. Grumps doesn't like that theory. He tells T to keep his mouth shut or he and his wife will regret it.

Avances

  • Rod starts to get warm and fuzzy.
  • T makes a deathbed (?) confession.

Sara you are so funny!! I started watching this late and you summed up my feelings and your titles were spot on. It was like Dante's Inferno with various rungs of Hades.

I know Diego is the nice guy but it would have been nice if he really was strangling Irma. She talks about her conscience and then proceeds to still treat him badly. And why is Abdul being such an idiot?

I'm so happy Irene turned to Tad. Though she feel off the wagon, it could have been much worse. Seeing Paolo and Mara was one of the few good things that happened.

I am sad Irene fell off the wagon, but maybe it's a good thing the writers are reminding the audience that it isn't easy to kick the drinking habit, but you can't give up.

Sara- I saw most of this episode, and you echoed most of my sentiments, including how adorable Paolo was with Mara in that brief scene, as he put his head on her shoulder in Papa Juancho's office. Awww!

Abdul and Alberto both need to snap out of it and stop chasing after these skanks. Everyone should be smelling the odor from the Brat's bs story about why she kept the ring but rejected the proposal, and about this "friend's" apartment she's moving into. Oh, please!

Even though she fell off the wagon, I am so proud of Irene for getting back on it quickly, not sleeping with that sketchy dude in the club, and calling Tad. With this reveal about her no longer being able to have babies (that's just sad since she was robbed of the early years with Nat), I'm starting to think the writers are going to split her and Al for good. I'm glad the Karina mess is out in the open. But I swear, if Al falls back into Karina's bed, I'm totally done with him.

Sara, you sprinted right out of the gate with "Let us begin the descent into hell". You did an amazing job with an action filled, dark and dreary episode.

"Irma shakes her booty for Grumps. Bleeeccchhh" made me laugh out loud. "Lupita is inconsolable Gee whiz this kid is amazing!!" (totally agree) and "Rod internally marvels at Brat's chutzpah" were among my many favorites.

My heart ached for Irene but I am glad that her relapse appears to be brief and applaud her seemingly steadfast resolve for sobriety. God bless her.

Let's face it. She needs Tad now, not Al. Al's immaturity and hurtful and harmful behavior are apparant. He is simply not worthy. I am really, really hoping friendship will blossom into romance for Tad and Irene. Honestly? I don't think Al is "all that"! He's cute but Karina can have him. Vivi, I kind of hope Karina and Al do get togther, thus paving the way for Irene and Tad to really be together.

I hated to see Lupita cry! That insipid, cruel Brat! No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Al, dry your eyes man! You need to lavish your love and attention on someone who deserves you. The actor is adorable.

Poor T. I hope this isn't the end for him.

I am really, really loathing Rod. And Irma is not far behind.

Karen, the one bright moment was seeing Paola and Mara together, I agree.

Sara, thank you for the incredible details and your wonderful humor!

Diana

It was nice seeing Nat hang out with her bio parents. There's a nice friendship developing between the three. I really hope that when the truth comes out, the writers don't waste too much time having Nat being mad thinking they just abandoned her.

Thanks Karen, Vivi and Diana.

I agree that Alberto just needs to get over Brat. Angela needs to get over Abdul as well. Heeey, Alberto and Angela would be GREAT together!!

Vivi-I had the same thoughts about Irene's relapse. She may have slipped, but she still had enough awareness to not sleep with the stranger and to call someone to help her.

I really hope Grumps doesn't find out about this.

Diana-I don't think Alonso is all that either. In the beginning I liked him, but he has been stupid and immature over and over again. It got old real fast. I am firmly committed to Team Tad.

Brat said some really ugly things to Nat about her bio mom. She's planted the seed in Nat's head that her mom didn't want her. I really hope we don't go down the "I hate you because you abandoned me" road. It would be especially frustrating given all the warm and fuzzy scenes we've had with Nat and Irene and Nat and Tad and Nat and Irene and Tad.

Now, if you will indulge me a moment. I love Carmen, but what more does she want from El and how much more can the poor guy be expected to take? They finally take a step forward and she asks to take it slow. She keeps whining about him not proving himself or confessing his love, but he's ALWAYS there for her when she runs to him with a crisis. He invested ALL his money in her fonda! Get a a clue, Carmen!

Excellent as always Sara.

Want to echo your comment on Carmen and El. Leads me to think she is keeping him in the friendzone just in case a better deal comes along. I think El is foolish and should give it up. While I'm not a Carmen fan, Kimberly is no prize either.

Alonso - whining little boybitch

Irene - glimpse into the depths of depravity

Alberto - have you not a smidgen of self respect?

Nat - if it looks like a rat, smells like a rat, acts like a rat, marry it anyway

Abdul - giving you some slack, flattery is very seductive

Irma - twerking for grandpa

Karina - he ain't worth the headaches

Brigitte - this ring, possession is 9/10 of the law Alberto

Rod - watch it grumps ain't as dumb as the rest

OMG tofie! Your lists are pure gold!! Thanks for the guffaws this morning.

"Twerking for Granpa" Bleeeccchhh!!!

"Whining little boybitch" Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

Abdul's problem is he wants to get laid & he can't do that under mommy's thumb. Abdul needs to feel like a man and Jaiba makes him feel like a man. Angela & Carmen make him feel like a child.

Alberto probably can't fathom that Brat is a low down skank because the rest of her family is so good & nice. I see some more slaps from Carmen in Brat's future when Carmen finds out how Brat has been playing Alberto and Natalia.

Carmen wants Eleazar to step up like everyone else and declare himself to her. Until he does that AND GETS RID OF KIMBERLY she can't open her heart to him. Yeah your kisses are nice but Kimberly is glomming all over you. Nice.

Alonso is too immature to be with Irene right now & Karina is too out of control. That drama is not something a recovering alcoholic needs right now so she needs to be with Tad, even if it's only friendship. Alonso has repeatedly shown an inability to deal with Karina and until he grows up and deals with Karina*, Irene should stay far away from him.

If Alonso has anything to do with Karina after this he's an idiot and deserves to be stuck with Karina*.

*Karina will probably end up pregnant, which means Alonso & Irene will have to keep dealing with her for life unless Karina dies/is locked up for life and Alonso & Irene end up raising Alonso/Karina's baby.

tofie, still chuckling at Nat - "if it looks like a rat, smells like a rat, acts like a rat, marry it anyway" (in addition to what Sara already noted).

Anon, I agree that El needs to step up, divest himself of Kimberly and announce his feelings to her and the world!

Diana

Anon207- ITA.

Tofie- Great snarky list.

MX eps 89-91

my pleasure

Thanks JoseAngel! So we'll be at around #130 when La Gata premiers? Someone check my math. Looks like this will be done before August.

Haven't had time to watch or read recaps/comments for the last 10 days or so, so this may be old news:

De Q will be going back to one hour eps starting next Friday (6/13) and will be on an hour later.

Have to admit, ever since I found out Uni has been butchering the eps, I haven't been into watching. I'm so disappointed. But I'm really liking this TN, so I am going to go back to it, but only after Diego gets out of his "coma". Flaco told me yesterday that he's still being drugged. Ugh!!! Hate this plot.

Nanette

Thank you for sharing such wonderful news Nanette! I'm thrilled!!

Hi, Sara,

Thanks for this in-depth rendering of such a messy episode, and for your humorous approach to the goings on.

I really liked the family dinner with Tad, Irene and Nat. I hope they can form mutual respect for each other before some toxic outside influence can tear at their emotions.

I liked when the light in the bar kept turning Rod's nose blue.

I liked how Irene plucked herself back up after making a little mistake, and turning for help to a known stable influence.

I wonder what Abdul will do with the temptations he is being exposed to.

Thanks again, Sara for a wonderful recap.

David

And again someone (Alberto) has a problem and resorts to getting drunk. Really, writers?

So I'm drawing comparisons to PSMA-

Irene/Alonso are the Gaby and Bruno of this novela

Diego/RodFace are BonBon/FeVer

Natalia is like Isa and 'Za but 'Za solely because she believes a guy is who he isn't due to his "convincing tactics"(If anyone is really 'Za or Daffne, Brat'Git is. However as sisters, Nat'n'Brat remind me of Sonia and Eugenia.)

Lupita is like Illeana.

Carmen makes me think of Tita but not by too much.

Eleazar.......I wanna say he is like Mauricio but does he have a road trip before that or is he enroute?

Abdul and Paolo....Paolo is BonBon part 2 and Abdul (we didn't have a character who was swooned by a Krusty Krab in PSMA unless you count Fabricio but they don't compare too much. I'll be back with more later LOL)

David- I wish they would stop filming in that bar. I hate the lighting. Lol. There was a scene a while ago where Nat's forehead was all blue.

Corazón - those are fabulous comparisons!

I'm really kicking myself. Instead of syphilis I should have used crabs as my STD of choice with Abdul. I may go back and change that.

tofie thanks for another great list.

Having once been on team Alonso, I am so disappointed in him. As David pointed out yesterday, how is Al, a mental health professional, allowing himself to be manipulated by a silly albeit crazy woman? Why do you turn to alcohol when things so bad when your then gf is an alcoholic? I'm on team Tad now.

Corazon interesting comparison.

Nanette, thanks for the news. With the 7 pm start time, this tn will most likely be per-empted during the initial stages of the World Cup.

I continue to be baffled by how often tns show characters getting wasted when something bad happens-- characters who should know better, characters who are close to other characters who have real drinking problems. It's not just this tn. I wonder if it's a cultural thing. Perhaps we need the input of someone in/from Mexico. Perhaps Jarocha will see this. I am not watching enough normal American tv to compare, but perhaps we have the same issue with these mixed messages about drinking. Certainly, the reality shows give mixed messages on this subject.

That's correct, but no one knows if Uni will edit DQTQTQ like QBA (1 1/2) or LT/PSMA (2 or more).

Gracias Sara! I'm so sorry you had this hot mess to deal with.

There is no redemption for Brigitte in my eyes after she made Lupita cry.

Grumps having a Viagra moment with Irma was just gross! They had better not take that any farther.

Yes, Alonso is being incredibly stupid. I think the night he drank too much with Alberto, he might have been trying to render himself incapable of doing anything with Karina. Which is still stupid.

So, why does Al, with all his training, still do this stupid stuff? As a former mental health professional, let me say that I at least, while I may have been given tons of training and have loads of insight into human behavior, am still human myself and I'm perfectly capable of making bad decisions. Maybe not as often, maybe not as terrible as Al's, but then again, I don't live in telenovelaland.

Thanks, Sara. These people are weird.

WHAT ???? I do not accept the proposal, but thank you very much...I WILL keep that lovely diamond ring. REALLY ???? Brat is unbelievable. Talk about feeling entitled and following a different set if rules from everyone else. Alberto is a big, gorgeous hunk of a men. Why is he even dating Brat ? He could have his
pick of dozens of nice girls. ESTUPIDO. I do not get it. However, in real life, sometimes a nice person falls for a dud. Love can be blind.

However much Brigitte smirks and scowls or couldn't find her way to the corner store I don't imagine that has anything to do with Alberto's attraction and more to do with what she pours into those little dresses.

Tarts don't need smarts.

Vivi-I am right there with you, but this is something I've only started to pay attention to with this show. The drinking as problem solving seems so wrong when you consider the Irene character. Needless to say, I will start paying a lot more attention from now on.

JoseAngel-Thanks again for keeping it all straight for us. I will be interested to see how the editing goes. I would prefer a QBA treatment since I don't think a lot was cut out, but I suspect we are going to get another PSMA special deluxe edition.

Kat-How frustrating is it to watch these things with your background? It would take a lot of the enjoyment out of it for me. LOL

Karen- Welcome to #Team Tad. We have cookies.

Susanlynn-Alberto leaves me scratching my head. I cannot believe he let her keep the ring. You're right about real life, though. Sometimes the nicest people end up with duds.

tofie- Another zinger. I would love to possess a little of your wit.

It's always bad, but I've rarely had to turn off the TV just for that, and when I have, it's been American TV. Like that new show, Black Box? I made it through the first episode, screaming at the TV the entire time, but after that, I was done. I get ridiculously happy when a show uses "schizophrenic" properly or even references the DSM. The ethical violations are probably worse than misusing terms. My ethics professor was very demanding and I will probably be shouting "That's an ethical violation!" at the TV for many more years to come, despite being out of practice!

Sara...hey..do not sell yourself short. Tofie is witty and funny , and so are you. I always enjoy your recaps and comments, and tofie's lists are great. Both of you provide me with some goggles every day, and I NEED some daily giggles.

Add me to the list of those who are amazed at how many characters are shown regularly getting drunk...Alonso, Alberto, realDiego , El. (Have we seen RoDiego drink ?) On one hand, the writers show Irene struggle to stay on the wagon after years of alcoholism, while on the other, they show a lot of recreational drinking and disappointment drinking. QUE? Mixed messages.

Wow, Susnalynn...now that you mention it I don't think we gave seen Rod drunk. I guess he knows he can't let down his guard.

I'm going to go a little gringo here: I can't wait for tonight's episode.

Goggles???...giggles

Regarding Alonso's stupid behavior and drinking even though he is a counselor...I know someone who is a counselor , and he has issues with alcohol, drugs, gambling, and he is bipolar.. Yes, he is one hot mess. This, I suppose that it is not too hard to accept Alonso's general stupidity and drinking. My mother used to say "The cobbler's children have no shoes." Teachers' children sometimes fail in school. Doctors smoke and drink and overeat.

Respiratory therapists all seem to smoke! lol

Susanlynn- I saw "giggles" both times. I had to go back and see "goggles." Interesting what the brain tells the eyes to see.

Doctors also take drugs.
Let's hope Rodrigo DOES get drunk, maybe he will spill the frijoles

Yeah, if Rod gets drunk there would be no way he'd be able to hide the jerk within.

I would LOVE for Rod to get drunk!!

Ok, conjecture time. The avances say Rod may actually start falling for Nat. Where could they be going with this? Do y'all (youse for my northern Caraymates) think he and Nat will ACTUALLY get married soon?

Oh, God! I hope not. If they do get married, Rod would have to die eventually (not a bad idea) since they are marrying in the Church, and I don't see Rod ever going along with a divorce. And the writers better find some reason for them not to consummate.
